On the topic of using totems, when foolish used a totem to heal his cracks it made the piping sound bit didn’t actually use up the totem.

I know it’s largely because he didn’t actually do anything with it in game but it’s interesting to think about.

Like maybe when he used it rather than simply taking the energy it had it circulated between them to kickstart his own totem healing process.

I was thinking about that too! It fits really well with his empathy towards totems and refusal to use/break them as well. He wasn't near death either so wouldn't have needed to fully drain the thing using it up.

I love the idea of them circulating the energy, him only borrowing the little he needs and returning what he doesn't. It's clear he has a unique relationship with totems, it's not impossible that through his biology of his totem he'd also have unique abilities to connect with them in ways others can't, and beyond that he sees them as more than just resources to be used. He sees himself in them and respects them, it makes sense for his character that he wouldn't just take and take.

We get near the final act and lose @loserwitchbitch, RIP K, you will be sorrily missed, a fan fave that people get angry got killed. @visceravalentines gets an unconventional kill! Working at the morgue, dealing with a ton of the fallout from the murders and we get a sick as fuck Ghostface jumpscare from a body bag, how sick would that be? A death truly worthy of such a cool person.

Final act kills is where @darklylucid and @early20sfailingplenty as well as @lordebugington get separated and sliced, moment of silence for the bad fucking bitches we lost. During the reaveal and monologue we lose @mrsaltieri-real who SOMEHOW hasn't run herself through on Ghostface's knife until now, a truly impressive feat. @lucifers-horror-harem also is lost during this time, don't ask me why, it's giving pushed off a roof, a valiant effort that just falls short. @kruegerzkunt gets the last kill after the demasking, so close, but so far.

And who manages to make it out at the very end, I would say @f1nalboys left town and has been lying low since the first kill and managed to squeak through. Leading to the very end where, who is left standing but @lackingspace, @eggsandbeer as well as @therottengirl. Harley would manage to survive because Ghostface didn't double tap, serious stab wound but she makes it. Riri would have gotten away barely to get a hold of the cops, and Kate would just go batshit, rip and tear, no way Ghostie stands a chance by this time of night after all the damage taken. I think whoever Ghostface is at this moment is giving their speech and she just, snaps and tackles em. I am talking a Sam Carpenter stabbing Richie moment.

I love all my moots a ton, this is just in good fun but also man I need a scream movie casted with my moots.

Hey, I’d love to ask for your headcanons about something! How do you think Izuku and Tsukauchi get along? All Might is close with both of them, so I’d imagine they got introduced at some point! We don’t see them interact much in canon, but I can imagine they would get along great because of their problem-solving abilities. I imagine Tsukauchi would be more of the “fun uncle” and be like “hey kid, lemme tell you about this stupid thing Toshi did once.” And Izuku’s like “ALL MIGHT LORE. YES PLEASE.” And Toshi is in the background going “NaOMASAA PLS DO NOT IT WAS STUPID AND ONLY THE ONE TIME. LETS NOT GIVE THE KID ANY IDEAS!!!”

Oooh, what a good ask, Anon! This is giving me all kinds of thoughts (The Stars Shine Brighter Part 2 perhaps?) but I'll stick to my most immediate ones for now.

(Disclaimer: I only read Vigilantes in pieces and therefore my understanding of Tsukauchi as a character may be limited or incorrect.)

I love the idea that Tsukauchi snitches on All Might's past, and I agree that it would go down exactly the way you describe. In my head, though, that would be a bit of a "later" thing. I've always headcanoned that Izuku is actually relatively shy around Tsukauchi, and so I think it would take Izuku some time to warm up to him. I had to take some time to think about why I headcanon that, and I think it's two things.

Tsukauchi has a very unique relationship to All Might, which is one of the things that draws me to his character. There's no requirements or power dynamics between them to speak of, which is practically unheard of for All Might. Tsukauchi is not like Gran Torino who has an obvious kind of power over All Might from their past, and he's not like Nighteye where Nighteye was too caught up in his image of All Might to see him as he truly is. In fact, Tsukauchi actively refuses to benefit from his connection to All Might as we see in Vigilantes below.

(con't) I think one reason All Might likes and respects Tsukauchi so much is because he is generally unfazed by All Might as a figure. Respectful, yes, but not awe-struck. As a result, I think Izuku is intrigued by Tsukauchi but uncertain of how to interact with him himself. He'd understand to be respectful because he's an adult and respected in his field, sure, but it wouldn't be like Gran Torino or Nighteye who clearly have and assert a higher status than Izuku. Because All Might is much more casual with him, I think Izuku would be unsure about how to form his own dynamics with Tsukauchi and would need his and All Might's guidance on how casual he's allowed to be. I could see this being prompted by both situations you describe, either analytical talk or through secret yet fun All Might lore.

I also headcanon that, at some point, Izuku realizes that when All Might told Izuku on the rooftop to maybe be a police officer instead of a hero because it's a way to help people and "a fine profession," he was probably talking about Tsukauchi. I think Izuku might have felt like the police officer thing was a second tier option at the time, but once he sees how much All Might respects Tsukauchi, Izuku might realize he was being genuine, which would give him a new kind of fascination with Tsukauchi, especially since I don't think Izuku even knows Tsukauchi's quirk (or if he even has one). So I think his shyness would partially be curiosity paired with not wanting to be rude.

Overall, I think Tsukauchi, whether or not he turns out to canonically have a quirk, is what Izuku could have been had Izuku not been so enthralled with heroes and the quirks required for them. As I said earlier, Tsukauchi canonically seems to be a character who largely does not feel affected or fazed by society's power dynamics. He doesn't seem easily impressed with other's quirks or status, nor is he disrespectful of anyone for their status, even villains. He's always portrayed as being out to do a job by any means moral and sensical (meaning he's not above working with villains if they have the right quirks/tools but he also won't do it if it outweighs the benefits, such as we're seeing in this final arc). And I think Izuku has never seen someone like that before. Izuku's world is dominated by status and power as seen in the beginning of the whole series, "Not all men are created equal." Even All Might himself, while never looking down on anyone, is part of the power structure of society, whereas Tsukauchi isn't really.

I think Tsukauchi, meanwhile, would take interest in Izuku as All Might's successor and as someone All Might cares about deeply, but I also think that he wouldn't think to develop an independent relationship with Izuku unless either he or All Might invited him to. He wouldn't want to intrude, I think, but would welcome it if offered.

So now that I'm writing this out, I'm seeing great potential in their relationship! I really appreciate the ask, and I'm definitely going to be thinking about this for a while.

OK so I am nonbinary and considered changing my name to Antimony because it sounds cool, and was what they thought was the key to making the philosopher's stone in alchemy, it's associated with transformation and werewolves, the alchemical symbol for antimony ore literally looks like a gender symbol (🜫), it's in a song I like, and it is an old timey poison like arsenic and I am also toxic lol.

THEN tried to change my url to ‘antimony' but it was taken, so 'antimony-ore', decided I liked it as more of a...stage name? Went back to being called [redacted] (ask me lol).

And now here's the thing about the name of the game: ore is just another word for 'metal' which is what the game is about collecting… I'm actually not planning on putting antimony in the game lmao.

What did you think of UD, in comparison to The Quarry? Better, worse?

Dude I love Until Dawn so much. It’s arguably stupider than The Quarry and it works so well. The dialogue is more 80s slasher in terms of how dorky it is but damn if that isn’t the charm.

I love the way they’re like complete opposites in setting and the way the characters interact. Like The Quarry is full of friends and Until Dawn is full of acquaintances that pretend to be friends. In Until Dawn, there’s more history in the friend group and way more tension while The Quarry has way less of that.

Each game has its own pros and cons, and they have things that the other would benefit from.

Like I wish The Quarry had the relationship status and stats. It made more mundane choices feel impactful. But in that same vein, I wish Until Dawn’s bigger choices felt more like The Quarry’s, if that makes sense?

Another point towards The Quarry is the fact that the group of characters felt like an actual group of friends. Like I’ve met a Jacob and an Abi in my own friend groups. These characters feel real which is something Until Dawn lacked.

(I might make an actual pros and cons list one day if I feel up to it)

Ultimately, I like The Quarry better, but I think that came down to my own experience with it being more involved (I played The Quarry blind and Until Dawn with the knowledge how to save everyone—still failed)

(Also, my fav is Chris, and probably always will be. I love a dorky nerd who is single-handedly the nicest character character in the game)

What's your favourite episode of Psych?

Okay. It’s definitely something from season 3 bc that’s my favorite season.

Gun to my head, I’d say Lassie Did a Bad, Bad Thing or An Evening with Mr. Yang. Both of those episodes I felt had amazing acting on some emotional beats that we hadn’t really seen from the cast before then, good mysteries, and still SOLID comedy taking place. If I had only one episode to choose to get people to buy into Psych, it’d be one of those.

Aww, ty anon!! I'm so glad you've enjoyed the series! I'm super excited to get their thoughts out there as well! It's funny b/c as I've been writing Kev's POV I've literally had to make little notes to myself on what they're thinking or doing at the moment so I could get here. But now I've got a wall of moments and scenes and little bits that I want to incorporate 😅 So...suffice to say it's def a work in progress making it all cohesive.

Getting back to your question though - we are starting with Jean in the Nest. Not quite the first time he meets Kevin but close to that timeframe.
