Summary: You save the woman you have grown close to over the past few years you have been undercover as a Nazi general, and now you’re going to save her family.
A/N: Me, still broken after watching Jojo Rabbit almost a year and a half ago?? It’s more likely than you think... so, apparently I write Rosie Beltzer fics now lol

"It's a lovely night for it, huh?"
For what? You weren't
certain. Maybe it was the full moon. Maybe, it was the clear sky. The deserted streets, perhaps... what loomed in the following days to come.
Or maybe, just maybe. It was the woman by your side.
The woman hummed, a small sweet smile caressing her face.
"One of the better ones we've had in years. Came her strong German accent. A stark difference to yours, considering you no longer had to mask it. Around her, anyway.
Your smile mirrored hers as it brightened.
"It sure is."
"I can't believe it's almost over. And after so long..." she said, while you grunted, sitting down beside her on the small roof over the open attic window. "This unjust war is finally coming to an end."
"Okay, you're starting to sound like my commander now."
Rosie chuckled at your words, moving to softly lean into your side, keeping her head up to continue looking at the bright white stars that littered the midnight blue sky.
"Why do you always insist on meeting up here?" you grumbled, no malice in your voice, "It's a pain in the ass to get up onto the roof, from the outside, y'know?"
"You're a spy, aren't you? Aren't you supposed to be good at this stuff?"
"Oh cheeky," you laughed, lightly slapping the side of her leg, with the back of your hand. Rosie's quiet giggles following your remark, "And I'm an undercover soldier. Those are two very different things."
"Still." She shrugged.
You sat in silence for a small while. Over the few years, you and Rosie had grown close. Meeting up on her rooftop, at the dead of night, where there was no chance of anyone seeing you together, this way, becoming an almost every day occurrence.
You knew you could trust her the moment you first met, almost three years ago. After you had stolen the identity of a Nazi officer, that looked starkly like you. Luckily, there was hardly any information about this person. So, there was less chance for your cover to be blown.
Soon, the resistance that Rosie had been deeply a part of was un-earthed to you, thanks to your informant and the letter she carried. It wasn't long after that you started working with them too. Helping them better than they could ever hope, thanks to the military resources and information you brought.
"What happened to your neck?" Rosie asked, pulling you out from where you were, deep in your memories.
A hand came up to rub at your slightly sore skin.
"My informant can be cruel..."
Rosie cocked a blonde eyebrow at you, wanting an explanation from you.
You sighed, getting ready to tell her.
***
Eyes burned into the woman from all sides as her heels kicked against the polished wooden, yet stained, floor. Her light brown hair shone under the glowing lights, confidence radiating from her just the same.
"Can I help you?" a German Soldier slid in front of her, she had to stop herself from sneering at the man. For both his being a Nazi and his sweaty stench. But instead, she managed a sultry smirk.
"I'm here to see your General," she replied, in a German accent.
"Don't bother," another Soldier, this one drunk and slightly swaying, called over, from where he was pressed into the wall a few feet behind her.
"I don't think your General would take too kindly to you stealing what they paid for."
"They're gonna have fun with you," he replied, blatantly looking her up and down. Like a wolf would, to a tiny bunny, ready to devour it whole. However, the wolf was not a wolf at all, the wolf was, in fact, the bunny, and the bunny was the actual wolf.
She would tear him to shreds, given the chance.
"The General is in the usual room," the original man said, "Fair warning, though. They're not in a good mood today."
The woman began strutting down the hallway, once again. Throwing, "Aren't they always?" over her shoulder once she passed him by.
When she opened the thick wooden door you resided behind, the sounds of your continued groan began pouring through the crack.
"Sometimes I cannot believe that you got this assignment," she uttered in her original London accent, with her back pressed against the now-closed door.
You finished your groan off and took a deep breath before you uttered your reply.
"Luck-of-the-draw, I guess," you spoke from the floor where you lay on your back, with a shrug, "That, or I look strikingly alike the guy who died. The Nazi prick."
She walked over to you, one foot rising to press her heel into your neck, your thyroid resting in the open space of the shoe.
A choking noise sprang from your mouth as you flailed your limbs around gently. You knew that if she were to press any harder, she would surely manage to choke you.
"You're not suited for this job."
The brunette pressed harder against your throat before she released you. Leaving you to turn on your side, coughing and spluttering.
"Well, no shit. I'm a soldier, not a spy."
"You can tell."
"What was that all about?" You motioned to your neck. Red marks already making their way upon the tender flesh.
"We need to make it seem like we are having sex. Remember? I am supposed to be your hooker after all."
"You're a bitch, is what you are."
She scowled at you as you rolled yourself onto your stomach, sighing when you finally got to your feet.
"Where's the update?"
You hummed, almost as if you were remembering what you were here to do. Removing the crystal tumbler from your lips the whisky sloshing around inside. Reaching behind you, you pulled the file from where it was tucked into your pants and under your shirt. Handing it over to her.
"Is this it?" She asked, weighing the file in her hand, "It's very light."
"Yeah, and so's the information swimming around. Unless you wanna hear about the fish Agatha caught last weekend," you snarked back, moving to point at the file with the same hand that held your glass, "There's some good stuff in there. It's not much. But it's good."
"I'll take your word for it."
She tucked the folder into the long overcoat she wore, then you saw her eyebrows furrow.
"Aren't you supposed to take care of that?" She nodded towards the uniform jacket you had thrown across the room not long after you had entered it.
"You sneered at the fore-talked about item.
"I hate it and everything it stands for." You turned back to face her. "As soon as all of this bullshit is over, I'm burning that fucking armband. And then the rest of the fucking uniform."
"Real calm there, aren't you?"
"Don't start shit with me, Hannah." You took a large swig of your drink, almost emptying the glass. "I know that you wish you had somehow gotten this mission. But trust me, you don't fucking want it. The shit I've seen and done. The stuff that I've had to authorise, just to keep my cover. The fucking horror storied these monsters have told proudly, or as if they're fucking jokes." You were panting now. "You don't want that."
You had her startled into silence. Hannah had never expected this to come from you.
"How's the resistance?"
You grunted. Downing the rest of the brown liquor before moving to pour yourself another glass three fingers tall.
"It's going." you gave a heavy nod. "Still trying to spread the word."
Hannah hummed, slowly making her way towards you. Fingers coming up to razzle her hair, and wipe her lipstick, so it smudged onto her cheek.
"How's the blonde?"
"What-?" you were cut off when she wiped the red lipstick on her fingers across your own lips, leaving a smudge like hers there. "Ugh," you groaned, moving away from her palm, only to utter small obscenities and sounds of pain when her lipstick freehand messed up your short, slicked-back hair.
"What blonde?" you finally managed to ask.
"The one from the resistance. What's her name?" She clicked her fingers together, in realisation, "Rosie."
"Oh! Yeah, she's fine, and so are the kids."
"You seem to be taking a shine to her, from what I hear from the resistance. You and Rosie seem to be something of a dynamic duo."
Suddenly your shirt was ripped open, from the collar to your ribs. Making your eyes widen in shock.
However, you were used to this by now, so they soon returned back to their regular size.
"Yeah, we're friends."
Hannah hummed, something akin to a knowing smirk on her face. As she untucked your shirt.
"I'd keep an eye on her, though."
She opened your pants.
"She's being watched."
Breathless at what she just said, you stood stock still, watching as she walked towards the wooden door.
"Oh." Hannah stopped, her hand upon the handle, pulling some pieces of paper from her pocket and threw them to the floor, "I'll leave you to deliver the bad news."
And with that, she left.
***
You forewent telling Rosie everything from the mention of her.
Thinking it the best if she heard it differently.
"That really sounds like a spy meeting to me," Rosie said with a smirk, knowing it would annoy you to no end.
You closed your eyes before you could roll them into the back of your head. Taking a deep breath, you exhaled, "I'm not a spy."
"So, you've said," she giggled.
"You're drunk," you mumbled to yourself.
"What was that?"
"How are the kids?" you asked, clearly watching as Rosie groaned lightly. Her head down-turned, almost sad looking.
"Jojo's still obsessed with Hitler and everything. And Elsa's doing her best. But I can tell how much this is affecting her. And in what world wouldn't it?"
"She's strong." You nodded. "She'll get through it. We all will."
"And what about Jojo?"
Rosie turned to face you, hair swaying as she did. You could see the glazed look in her eye's, telling yourself to be extra vigilant with the woman upon the roof. You had to make sure she didn't fall off in her drunken state.
"Is he going to be like this for the rest of his life?"
Tears were building in her eyes now.
"Supporting evil dictators, wanting to take over the world, and fill it with hate?"
"No. No, of course not," you whispered. Reaching over, you clasped her cheeks between your rough, war-hardened hands. Wiping away her silent tears. "He's just a boy. A boy who wants to be a part of something, even if he doesn't understand what that is. What monster's he's following. He will realise one day. Trust me."
"I trust you." She nodded. "It just. It's hard. It's so hard. Especially when he plays up, like he did at dinner today."
"He did?"
She hummed with a nod.
"We're low on food right now. I had to go without to feed Elsa. But Jojo, he didn't know, obviously, so he took that too. Then he started arguing about his father-"
You inhaled sharply, shoulders tensing. But luckily for you, she didn't notice your reaction.
"-I yelled at him... we made up not long after, but I still feel awful about it. I'm a terrible mother."
"No, you're not-"
"I am-"
"No. You're not," you said firmly. Grabbing her forearm, gently moving it side to side, to get your point further across, "You're such a caring and amazing person. Your heart is so big and kind. And you're an even better mother. It's like all of that is doubled for those kids."
"Thank you," Rosie whispered, tears in her eyes once again, before she moved to wipe them away.
"Anyway, you're way better than my mother. She abandoned me at a farm. I was lucky a cow didn't shit on me."
She giggled at your little joke.
"I'm so sorry that happened to you."
"There's no need. I wouldn't change it."
Things were quiet for a few minutes when you suddenly remembered.
"Oh!" You reached into your pocket and pulled out three packages, wrapped in brown paper and tied together with string. "I guess it was just lucky that I brought these then."
"What are they?"
"Beef sandwiches, I thought you would like them."
"Oh, you're a lifesaver," she spoke in something close to a moan as she took a bite out of her sandwich.
You gave a small chuckle at the woman seated beside you, "I'd thought you'd say that. I'll have to start bringing food over to these meetings of ours because it's not like I can do it out in the open."
"People would think something was going on between us," Rosie hummed.
"You're right about that. Everyone is so bored around here. Gossip is like their life sauce."
"Would you be surprised if I told you that it was the same before the war?"
"Not at all," you laughed.
Rosie finished her sandwich, and you dreaded what was coming next.
"I need to tell you something," you almost whispered.
She bumped her shoulder against yours when you didn't continue.
"Well? What is it?"
"It... it's about your husband..."
You watched her carefully as you said that, all the while emotions, flew into her while she processed them.
She held back more tears, ones from the look on her face that she had shed more times than she could count. Face contoured into one of concealed pain. Looking away from your gentle, caring eyes while rubbing her hands together.
"He's dead, isn't he?"
"I'm afraid so." You nodded, looking out before you, into the starry night sky.
That's when you felt a tiny jolt beside you. Looking over at the blonde, you watched as a tear trickled down her cheek.
"I'm so sorry," you whispered.
With a gasp and a wet sniff, Rosie wiped her tears away.
"What happened?"
"There was a raid, some members of a resistance was there, your husband included. None of them made it... they saved the people they intended to, however."
She nodded with a sad yet proud smile.
"How long ago was this?"
You swallowed. Hating the words you were about to say.
"A little over a year ago."
You winced when you heard her sobs, ones being held in so hard just so no one could overhear her cries.
And, sickeningly so, the worst thing of all was that you didn't know how to help her.
Placing a hand upon her back, rubbing small comforting circles into her shoulder. Feeling her lean into you, face now pushed into your neck.
"I'm here. Everything's going to be alright."
You left not too long later, after already spending way too much time up on that roof.
Rosie wished you a "goodbye" with the promise that she would be fine. However, she didn't reply to you when you told her not to finish the rest of the wine. That she had been pounding for the majority of the day.
Before you arrived "home" and promptly collapsed onto the bed.
***
The afternoon sun was warm upon your face as you walked the streets of the German town. Watching as children ran around, women worked, and well, gossiped, and Nazi soldiers came and went.
Soon. You thought. This will all be over soon.
That's when you heard the murmured words from the women you had just walked past.
"Yes, the Gestapo. They're here right now."
"Who for?" the other woman asked, voice slightly higher at the aspect of such "juicy" gossip.
Sometimes it surprised you just how detached some of these people were from human lives. But then you took a step back and saw everything that was happening in the world. And you weren't surprised anymore. Just disappointed.
"The traitors wife. Beltzer."
And now you were scared.
"-They should be taking her to the square, right now."
It was like the world had slowed down as you turned to look at them, meeting their curious eyes.
The last thing you heard before taking off at a run towards the town square was a fading, "Like husband, like wife. I guess."
The people you passed by looked at you like you were insane. To see a, what they thought, General, sprinting down streets and panting like crazy, it set them on edge.
But you didn't give a damn about what anybody thought.
You just had to get to the square.
And quick.
***
By the time you got there, you had a light shine over your skin. Thanks to the sweat from both the running you had done and the worry that coursed through you.
"Remove your hands from her," came your faux German accent.
"She is a traitor to the Reich," one of the Gestapo's, seemingly the leader, replied assuredly.
"And what proof do you have of this?"
Rosie was terrified. You could see that as clear as day, no matter how she tried to keep calm. It was written all over her face.
So, you forcefully pushed their hands from the heavily breathing woman and pulling her to stand by your side and away from the group of men dressed in black suits.
"I'll have you know, we have very probable tips from some of the community-"
""Probable"?!" you shouted, causing the on edge woman beside you to jump slightly. To which you pulled her closer to you as a form of comfort. Your hand, coming to rest on her shoulder.
"Yes. Probable. We cannot have risks."
"Well, I say that it is bullshit."
"You have no jurisdiction or authority over our department."
"And I never said I did. I am saying that I vouch for this woman."
"But the tip-off's-" another man began.
"You choose to believe lonely and bored housewives over a General?!" You watched as their faces fell, and they tried to grab onto any straw they could to change your mind.
"There is still a chance-"
"There is no chance!"
"And can you be so sure?!"
"Do you really believe that I, a General, would be with her if you were right?"
"With her?" a third Gestapo asked curiously.
You knew what you had to do to get her back home, safe and away from the men trying to execute and make a spectacle of her. Just like the poor people hanging to your right.
"It means that I have been seeing her. Romantically, if you still do not fully understand, what I mean."
They didn't say anything for a few short moments, only stumbling and stuttering over their own voices.
"So, tell me. Who are you choosing to believe?"
"Uh. Y-You General."
"Good." You nodded once. "Now, I'm going to take her home. Goodbye, gentlemen," you spat. Turning on your heel, with Rosie under your arm, and walking away.
"Are you okay?" you whispered. Not drawing any attention to yourself or Rosie.
"I'm fine. Thank you for saving me," she replied in the same way.
"I wouldn't have done anything else." Your hand slipped down to the blondes dip in her lower back, helping to guide her back home. "Where are the flyers? Did you have any on you?"
"Yes. I threw them down the drain before they could see."
"Good. You did good." A squeeze to her hip before your hand returned to her lower back, just to keep up the appearance of the lie. "They're not gonna find them."
***
Rosie had relaxed more by the time you were at the bottom of her street when you saw a distinctly expensive car parked outside of Rosie's house. A car that everyone knows belongs to that of Gestapo's.
"Is Jojo home?" you asked, just stood there starring at the sight, with Rosie by your side.
"Yes," she husked.
"Shit."
And that's when you both broke out in a run.
You, being faster than Rosie, arrived at the building first. Barging through the door, with her hot on your heels.
Pounding your way up the stairs, only to come face to face with a gang of men, identically dressed to the Gestapo's, you had just saved Rosie from. Along with Jojo and Elsa, in clothes that didn't look like they belonged to her. Not to mention the demoted soldier, holding an identification book.
"What is the meaning of this?!"
"What are you doing in my house?!" you and Rosie said at the same time. Your yell angrier, compared to her more so worried one.
"We are searching the premises," the lead man, who wore round glasses, spoke. Face confused as to why Rosie was still alive. But as soon as he saw the anger chiselled upon your face. He could take a successful guess as to who had stopped the execution.
"Mama, they were just checking Inge's identification," Jojo said as his mother rushed towards him. Her hands, on his cheeks, as she checked him over.
"Oh, yes. Of course." Rosie pulled Jojo along to bring Elsa into her side, just as you had done for her mere minutes ago. "Are you both alright?"
She gained words and nods of confirmation from the two children.
"I think it's time that you all left."
"But-" one Gestapo said, looking to Rosie.
"But nothing," you continued, "I'm sure your associates will fill you in on their mistake. Now, if you are finished, I ask that you leave this house."
"We were just about to, anyway," the leader said, leading the way out for everyone. But not before the ID was handed back to the assumed Inge. With you trailing after, to slam the door behind them.
You turned, leaning your back against the wooden door, sighing deeply.
"Are they gone?" Rosie called down, leaning over the railing, to peer down at you.
The stairs creaked below you, the layer of carpet doing nothing to quiet them. You spoke your confirmation, as you reached her, "They're gone."
The kids looked like they had just been caught with their hand's in the cookie jar.
"So..." the caring woman started, "You two know about each other."
They nodded.
"For how long?"
"A couple of weeks, at most," Jojo said.
"How did you even find out about her?"
"I-I found the hatch-"
"He crawled in-"
"And I found her-"
"He was terrified."
"Was not!"
"Was too."
"Was not!"
"Was too!"
"Okay, enough," Rosie raised her voice, gaining the bickering children's attention.
Taking a breath, she ran her hands through her soft blonde hair.
"And you never told anyone?"
"No." Jojo shook his head. "I didn't want you to get into trouble..." It was at that point, he realised you were silently stood behind his mother, watching as everything unfolded and who you were.
Rosie caught this and looked over her shoulder at you.
"Don't worry," she told both of the kids, crouching down before them. Elsa's face one of mild terror.
This is when it hit you that these kids were exactly that.
Kids.
Kid's that were too scared of their mothers, or motherly figure, scolding them, than the actual, apparent danger that lurked not too far away.
"They're not going to tell anybody. They know. And won't let anything happen. To any of us." she manoeuvred to face you. "Right?"
You nodded. "Absolutely. I will do my best to protect all of you."
"Speaking of." She slowly rose to her feet, walking towards you.
The hand that Rosie placed upon your arm was gentle, almost like she was worried she would hurt you. Fingers curling into the jacket of the uniform you loathed.
"I have to speak with the General. So, you two stay up here. Understood?"
They nodded.
"Good." She pulled you through the open door, but before she could close it fully, her head popped through the door, "Oh. And we're not done yet. We still have a lot to talk about."
Then the door clicked shut.
"You're really good at that."
"What?"
"Being a mother."
"I know. You've told me before."
***
Things had changed rather quickly when you arrived downstairs.
Sat upon the blue cotton cushions of the wooden framed couch. Watching as Rosie paced around in front of you, fingertips rubbing against her full lips, worry etched across her face.
Your eyebrows shot up, and your body straightened when she turned to face you. Arms now down by her sides.
"So, we're together, huh?"
"I'm sorry," you replied, German accent dropped, "But that was the only thing that would get them to back off and drop the suspicions against you."
"I know." She nodded, completely understanding. Before her minimal composure dropped, and the worry came back. "What do we do? Jojo obviously thinks you are a traitor now. What if he tells someone?"
"He won't." You stood abruptly, taking Rosie's shoulder's into your hands, squeezing them gently. "He didn't tell anyone about Elsa when he had so many chances to do so. Hell, he had the chance, not even five minutes ago. But he hasn't said a word, purely just to keep you safe... he doesn't understand that this could hurt him and Elsa too. He doesn't know what's happening."
"But this is different-"
"Yes, it is different. It's better he thinks I'm a traitor, helping his family, than him knowing I'm an undercover soldier."
"You mean a spy?"
"Don't you start with that shit." You pointed at her playfully.
Rosie's smile dropped when a thought popped into her mind.
"Do you think they will still come back?"
"It is possible," you said honestly, "Which is why we should leave as soon as we possibly can."
"And go where?"
"Anywhere that isn't here."
"What do I tell the kids- What do I tell Jojo?" she clarified.
"The truth. You tell them that they could come back and that we all need to leave because we could all be in danger."
With her head in her hand's, the blonde scoffed tearily, "God. This fucking war."
"I know. I know."
You pulled her into your chest, letting her cry into you. Arms wound around your torso tightly.
"I hate it, For so many reasons."
"I know," you repeated again, "I feel the same."
"When will it just end? When will people be safe again?"
Deciding that it would be best to tell her the truth, you said, "I don't know. Soon I hope."
And there you sat, for a small while longer, allowing the blonde to cry into your chest.
***
You had left.
Gone to go gather some of your things, thinking it best to stay with Rosie and the kids while you were forced to stay in town.
All the while Rosie, spoke to the kids about leaving.
"I don't understand why we have to go!"
Was what you were greeted with as you entered the home.
"Because it is not safe for us here anymore," Rosie's voice came, calm but firm.
"But they won't come back."
"That's not entirely true," you spoke, entering the kitchen. Placing the leather bag you carried and the wicker basket upon the small table against the wall, you continued, "There's always a chance, no matter how small."
The young boy watched you silently for a minute. Not knowing what to say.
"Trust me, Jojo. I know how all of this works. I just want to keep you all safe, so does your mother. And this is the best way to do it.2
Jojo sighed.
"Where will we go?"
Rosie looked at you intently when her son asked this, wondering the same thing.
"We'll get out of town first. Then we'll focus on a safe place for us all to go."
"Jojo, would you. Would you go to your room, please?" Rosie asked, "I need to speak with the General, alone."
Just as the blonde boy was about to protest, he was cut off.
"Now. I also have to start preparing dinner."
He huffed and walked from the room, bounding up the stairs rather loudly.
You felt bad for the woman as you watched her grip the sides of the oven, bow her head, and give a great sigh.
"Where's Elsa?"
"She's in her hiding spot." Then she turned to face you. "Y/N, K know that Elsa isn't Inge."
"What?"
"She got Inge's birthday wrong, and he didn't say anything."
Your eye's wandered as you took in the information that was just given to you.
"Do you think he will say anything?"
"I don't know," you said with a shrug, "But I don't wanna take any chances. It's too risky."
"I agree." Rosie nodded once. "So, when do we leave."
"As soon as possible. Tonight if we can. Only pack the essentials. And not yet, we can't raise any suspicions."
Rosie's only reply and indication that she had heard you were a good few nods.
And then.
"What's in the basket?"
"Oh," you said chipperly, "Don't worry about cooking. I brought dinner."
***
Turns out "tonight" wasn't a viable option for skipping town, as with loud, almost deafening sirens of dread filled the sky came the air-raid strike.
"Wouldn't it give us a good cover, though?" Rosie had asked, preparing for bed.
You had resigned yourself to staying over, as a sort of bodyguard, while still in town. And the threat was still very much weighing in the winds.
You looked over your shoulder at her. Being spotted by her through the mirror of her vanity, where she sat. Removing her makeup and then applying some face cream.
"I'm not the only one by a window," you told her. Then moved to peer through the window, at the moving lights in the black, midnight sky. "I'm sure I heard Elsa and Jojo in the attic watching them."
"They are," she confirmed.
"See. We're not the only ones. Too many eyes. A good distraction," you admitted, "But almost impossible. And with two kids added to that? No chance."
A hum came from Rosie.
"So, what are our options?"
With a sigh, you began explaining, "People will be too jumpy tomorrow, so our best bet would be the day after."
The blonde, now ready for bed, came over to you. Moving to stand right in front of you, looking out the window herself.
"Wouldn't it be too risky, staying here that long?"
It seemed it was your turn to hum, shrugging your shoulders.
"I'd rather stay here a few more days than risk it out there. But there is a good side to these change of plans."
"And what's that?"
"Now, we can sneak stuff to the car. And won't risk being caught doing it all at night. That way, all we have to do is get in, then drive off."
"Good plan. Partner," Rosie spoke in a slight mocking about sultry tone. Which only made you roll your eyes good-naturedly.
"Yeah. Yeah. You're welcome."
"Seriously," you halted at Rosie's serious tone, raising your head to peer at her, "Thank you for everything."
"You don't have to thank me." Your lips ticked up in a small smile before you lightened the sober mood and atmosphere. "And you definitely won't be thanking me if I accidentally kick you in my sleep."
Rosie laughed at your words, watching as you said into bed beside her.
"Do not worry. If you kick me, I'll just kick you out of the bed."
"Now that's just rude."
Waking up the next morning was strange for you, to say the least.
With the bright sun shining through the thin drapes, across the cosy room, and onto the bed. Duvet lumpy above your forms.
And then there was Rosie.
The blonde pressed up against your side, head resting on your shoulder, arms curled around one of yours, still fast asleep.
Now that.
That was very unusual for you.
But then again. You were too sleepy to process anything at that moment. So instead, you just watched her breathe soothingly, looking so peaceful by your side, with your eyebrows furrowed and eyes squinted in curiosity.
It was a wonder how someone could look so contest face asleep like Rosie was, with everything that is going on in the world.
The world wouldn't be that way for much longer, you thought, it was only a matter of time before everything was over.
And the same thing could be said for the blonde sleeping by your side.
The wooden door barged open, alerting you fully awake, as Jojo strutted in. Only to stop dead in his tracks at the sight of you. In bed. With his mother.
You could see the slight anger in his eyes, purely out of protection for his beloved mother.
"Good morning, Jojo," Rosie said sleepily as she moved to sit up, looking at the boy with a sleepy smile.
You grunted as she pressed her palm into your abdomen to raise up into a seated position.
"What are they doing here?" he asked, nodding his head towards you.
Rosie looked over her shoulder at you, tired eyes evaluating you. Before she turned back to her son.
"There's something I forgot to tell you yesterday."
You watched the mother and child with slightly wide eyes, not uttering a word, just looking like you wanted to escape this situation.
"What did you forget?"
"The General here-" she patted your abdomen where her hand still resided. "-And I, are seeing each other."
It was a few good long moments as Jojo processed the words. You thought he was going to be angry. It would be natural. You would understand. He was a young boy, one who undoubtedly missed his father and would not be happy with his mother being with anyone else.
But you also had to understand that he idolised you, if only for your -albeit fake- position in the German military.
And yet, you were still surprised and confused by what he said next.
"A lion?"
Rosie smiled brightly, nodding her head, "A lion."
"A lion?"
That was the first thing you said that morning, and it was full of confusion.
But it fell on deaf ears.
Jojo nodded once at his mother before turning on his heel and walking from the room, without saying what he initially came in for.
"What?"
Rosie smiled at you.
"Come on, we should get moving."
The bed shook and bounced as she got up from the bed, preparing to get ready for the day.
"I'm so confused," you almost whimpered, only gaining a soft giggle in return.

C-C-Cold Hearted
Pairing: Spike x reader [platonic]
Request: So glad your requests are open again!!! I have an idea for a platonic spike x reader, where reader's kind of a goody-two shoes with the Scoobies, but is actually punk in her personal life? I imagine Spike finding out after she drives everyone off home after a long fight and she swaps the music, forgetting Spike's still in the back (because he actually shut up for once, lol) but do it however the inspiration takes you. Thanks kindly! (Also no pressure if you don't wanna do it, it was just an idea I thought you'd be really good at.)Spik
Requested by: @cameo-greaves
A/N: I haven’t written a platonic Spike fic in a long time !! He’s protective like a big brother kind of relationship with the reader. So this was nice (I hope this was okay love) 💖💖
Tumblr media
You and your friends had all been driving around looking for a demon. You had decided since Sunnydale had decided to completely freeze over it was better to take the car. You were driving Buffy, Willow, Xander and Spike around. Spike had insisted he came and Buffy eventually gave in. This demon was supposed to be hard to defeat.
Willow had cast a spell on your car so you wouldn’t slide around on the roads and you were all wearing coats in the car because no matter how much you tried you couldn’t warm up. The cold got everywhere.
The demon was named Jacque. He was large and ogre-like. With power that nobody knew the full extent of. He was somewhat of a myth, even according to Giles’ books. He had stretched light blue skin and he thrived in this weather.  He was ice cold, his heart was literally a block of ice, one that never thawed. He had an icicle constantly hanging from his nose.
He had appeared one summers evening, turning the entirety of Sunnydale into Lapland. Nobody had seen this much snow before and it was only continuing through the weeks. Buffy and the rest of your friend group had been stuck in researching rather than having snowball fights like you all wanted.
There was a demon freezing people to death and you needed to figure out what you were looking for and quickly. Which is what you had been doing this evening. But you had been driving everyone around for hours now and there had been no sightings.
The radio was on, some tinny song you didn’t recognise. You didn’t get to hear much of it anyway as everyone was talking and laughing around you. You grinned as Xander cracked another joke with Spike just rolling his eyes and slouching in his seat.
Spike had shut up while the others in your car had gotten louder. He was just staring out of the window, he had offered to drive but you and your friends had said no. He took a lot of risks and in the snow the Scoobies could all see him managing to wipe the entire group out and managing to walk away unscathed. He had wanted to make sure you were back home before he got in. You had forgotten that he was still in the back of the car with everyone else chatting.
He kind of positioned himself in his own head as your big brother. He was weirdly protective of you but he didn’t let it show very often. You were too kind, a total goody-two shoes. Everyone thought so anyway. He was convinced that you wouldn’t last a second if you were left on your own.
You dropped each off one by one. It took a while people walking to their houses, scared of sliding around. You paused, making sure everyone got to their doors safely – not that you would have been particularly much help if anyone had been attacked by a demon waiting in the snowy shadows.
When you thought your car was empty, you exhaled slightly and turned to root through the glovebox for your music. You didn’t realise that there was a vampire still slouched on your backseat. You leaned in putting a cassette tape in and playing the first track. The music started, pounding through the speakers. You couldn’t help a smile spreading on your face.
You slammed the steering wheel in time, ready to launch into song alongside your favourite punk song. You hit the first note before you were interrupted suddenly.
An arm reached from the backseat to turn the dial up. He happened to like this song too. You screamed (and not in time with the tune) near drowning out the music that was playing. You had forgotten he was there and almost skidded into a snow drift on the side of the road.
You slammed on the brake and turned back to look at him, horrified to see Spike still there. You had been caught out. You weren’t too embarrassed or anything, you were just shocked he was there. He had actually managed to stay quiet for once.
You kept this part of your life away from the others. Especially Spike, you didn’t want him to look at you and think you were a poser. On the weekends you would often frequent local punk venues, soaking up the music and meeting people with a shared interest. You even dressed slightly differently (your look was a lot more toned down usually).
You needed a hobby that you could separate from the reality you lived in. You and your friends saving the world all the time, it was kind of heavy. You needed this escape. And what better than the embracing arms of the punk genre?
The lyricality of it you felt within. The heavy music and the powerful voices just spoke to you. In a way that nothing else had.
It made you feel alive. It woke you up from the dreary hopelessness that could consume you in Sunnydale. You could just get lost, it lifted the spirits when you were just shouting along to the words.
You and Spike didn’t speak much, other than squabbling over petty stuff. He just sort of turned up when you ended up stumbling into trouble the way you usually would. He often grumbled at you that you would happily plant your neck into a vampire’s jaw given half the chance.
You knew he looked out for you but you didn’t realise why. You were the same age as the others but he had a soft spot for you. You reminded him of his sibling. From when he was human. Now he realised you were slightly more similar to him than he thought in music taste at least. You were still as sweet and unassuming as you always appeared to be despite this revelation.
“Spike!? I could have crashed!”
“Didn’t though, did you?” he maintained, “Since when did you get any taste anyway?”
“I have always been cool, thanks very much” You insisted, turning your nose up at him and he scoffed.
“Wouldn’t say so, platelet. Unless you mean ‘cause of the weather that is” He teased which made you roll your eyes at him. Though you ended up smiling at him, you couldn’t help it.
He was always good natured with you. Made sure you felt safe around him despite him always insisting he was oh so evil. The others would tease him for it. They had thought he had fallen for you at first but he had made it clear he felt a duty of care to you. Couldn’t explain it, decided he didn’t owe it to them anyway.
“Well, now you know I guess… don’t tell the others?” You asked and he nodded. You appeared relieved. He wouldn’t want the others discouraging your interest. Your hobbies. He knew how that could be.
“You go to any shows?” He asked after a moment of silence, looking outside as he asked. The snow had began to slowly fall again. It was unending at the moment. Bleak.
But he’d rather look outside than watch you pull faces at his interest in your life. You would pretend you found it lame. He cared and you made it difficult sometimes despite it being in your nature to be kind.
“I go to the Fishtank sometimes to see the local bands play” You answered matter-of-factly. This was another reason you didn’t tell the others – they’d try to make you stop going. That place had a bad reputation.
He thought on this for a moment and then looked at you in the reflection of the rearview mirror as you anticipated his reply being one of disdain for the bar. Even he only risked that place if he was desperate.
“Well, if you ever need someone to take you there and back…” he offered, his brow furrowed at the idea of you out on your own in the middle of the night on that side of town.
“You want to be my chaperone? That’s so punk, thanks Spike” Your reply dripping with sarcasm.
“Offer’s there” he shrugged. You were about to open your mouth, maybe thank him or something. He really didn’t have to offer and it was him appearing to be genuinely kind without ulterior motive which was wholly unlike spike. But you chose to see the good in him. You were one of the only ones that did.
Just as you were about to speak there was a massive thud on the roof of your car. The roof dipped in slightly under the weight of whatever had jumped on there. You shouted in surprise as the demon jumped onto the bonnet before turning and landing on the ground and turning to face you, squinting into your car.
It was Jacque. The frost demon. You had finally located him. Complete with the sharp icicle on the end of his nose. But now you had found him, were completely slayerless.
Your brain caught up with you and you rushed into action. You reversed the car, manoeuvring the best you could to turn around while the demon set its sights on you.
“Bloody step on it!” He shouted, slamming his hands on the headrest of the drivers side as if it would make you drive faster. You would have said something snide about backseat driving but you were too panicked.
As you started to drive at a much faster pace, Spike threw himself into the front passenger seat with some struggle. His goal, not only to help you, but to turn the music right up. You were blasting the punk song for all of Sunnydale to hear as you drove recklessly through the streets and away from the demon blasting shards of ice at your poor car.
You took your eye off the road for a split second and really did drive into a snow drift this time. You couldn’t get the car started again. You would have to try and run. In what felt like six feet of snow.
The demon was more than double Spike’s height. Still, he ran at it with full force. Landing offensive blows where he could. The large demon swiped at Spike and sent him flying into your car leaving another large dent in the side.
While Spike was recovering, you tried to step up but you knew straight away it was going to be no use. He stared at you hard, using your body heat against you. Turning your body entirely cold. Frozen solid. Blue ice began to slowly create a layer on the outside of your skin.
“You c-c-cold hearted son of a-” Your teeth chattered as you tried to finish your sentence, but it was too hard to speak. You were so cold. You were becoming a statue. An ice sculpture. It was slowly creeping up your neck onto your face.
“Bitch!” Spike finished for you, spinning into a kick that knocked the demon backwards from where he was walking towards you.
“You do not have a heart either, friend… let me take this one” He gestured at you as you shivered in the icy prison you were encapsulated in.
“Not on your life”
“Okay” He shrugged, running at Spike again. They fought hard against each other, but Spike managed to gain the upper hand.
You began to thaw now his attention wasn’t on you although you were still very cold. Shivering violently. You could only watch as you started to be able to feel your fingers again although they felt as if they were cramped up. They were still numb.
Spike landed several successive blows, blocking the shards of ice that the demon threw his way. His ice powers wouldn’t work on a vampire. Spike knocked his feet from under him and
He took out his stake, piercing the large demon’s heart and shattering the shard of ice where his heart lay. The demon just lay there before eventually turning to snow like its surroundings.
He nodded once, looking at where the demon had once lay. Before turning back to you and gesturing with his head for you to walk back with him.
Spike took you home, teasing you lightly as you walked about how punk you looked when you were stood like a cold fool while he was fighting the bad guy. You shoved him and he rolled his eyes having to catch you as you overbalanced on the ice. He should have let you fall and taught you a lesson but it was instinct.
Hopefully now the demon was taken care of, all of the ice and snow would thaw sooner than later.

HI! may i request a drabble/one-shot for ymir x fem! reader on a museum date?

you know, fluff
we love fluff
YOU DON'T HAVE TO WRITE IT OFC
yes we love fluff >:]
museum date with ymir || f!reader
wc 935
warnings mild swearing and some mentions of food and ymir makes a fake misogynist joke (??) LOL IDK
a/n finding good ymir manga panels where she isnt in a life threatening situation is hard so i just did a little doodle 🤔 might start doing these instead they're so cute !!1! also i made the museum an art museum i hope u dont mind TT also this isn't proofread </3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you didn't think much of it when ymir appeared behind your locker door while you were getting your books for last period. it was a frequent occurrence, anyways. the both of you weren't exactly the best of friends, but you enjoyed her company.
and obviously, she felt the same.
"you want to go out with me?" you asked, looking puzzledly at the girl leaning nonchalantly against the wall, a smirk plastered on her face.
"pft, no way, y/n. i totally just wanted to ask you on a museum date for the hell of it," she replied, followed by a lighthearted eye roll. "so, yes or no?"
"uh, i'll have to-" mid-sentence, the realization suddenly hit you like a truck. "wait, it's a date?"
ymir shrugged. "if you want it to be. merely a suggestion."
"yes." it slipped out before your brain could properly process it. a date?
for just a split second, you noticed ymir's eyes widened, like she was surprised. did she expect you to say no? then she threw her head back and laughed, slinging an arm around your shoulder and pulling you close.
"i'll see you this saturday then, sweetheart," ymir whispered in your ear. her breath was warm on your skin and sent chills down your spine.
and as quickly as it happened, she walked away, a definite spring in her step.
you touched your hand to your ear.
Tumblr media
saturday couldn't have arrived faster. before you knew it, you and ymir were standing in front a canvas that stretched from the ceiling from the floor, featuring a meticulously painted greek city on the coast.
"this looks like it must have taken ages to make," you remarked.
"sometimes i wonder how they do it without going senile," ymir muttered, leaning in closer to stare at the sea foam painted on the dark blue waves.
"well, they do most of the time," you said thoughtfully, turning to face her. "we did learn about van gogh last week - don't you remember?"
"of course i remember," ymir scoffed in disbelief. "i actually pay attention in class, unlike somebody."
you punched her softly in the shoulder. "are you still hung up over that time i asked you for the maths notes?"
"who said i was talking about you? and you hit like a girl."
"that's because i am! and that's incredibly misogynistic of you."
a nearby attendee glared at you trying and failing to suppress your giggles.
"sorry, sir. i'll shut her up," ymir said with the straightest face she could manage, saluting as she pulled you away into an empty hallway, where the both of you burst out laughing.
"that guy was scary, i actually thought he was gonna kick us out!" you choked out in between bouts of laughter.
when the two of you finally calmed down, ymir took your hand again. "come on. let's go check out the other exhibits."
the rest of the day passed by in a flash. it was a whirlwind of admiring the gorgeous paintings, stolen glances, snacking on coffee and cake at the museum cafe and fingers brushing against each other. at the end of it, you realised that you were already excited for the next time you would see each other.
"i guess this is where the date ends," you finally said. the both of you were sitting on the massive stairs that led to the museum's main entrance, watching the sun set. nobody else was around - all that could be heard was the yells and cries of children from a nearby playground.
ymir shoved her hands into her pockets, her face suddenly flushing red. "can i be honest with you?" she turned to look you straight in the eye.
"sure," you said, curious as to why the usually bold and brash girl in front of you had such a flustered look on her face.
"i found looking at you much more interesting than all those paintings."
your heartbeat sped up as heat began spreading across your cheeks. it felt like you had forgotten every word in the english language, and all you could do was gape at her.
noticing your stunned face, ymir groaned. "shit, did that sound too cliche? i'm sorry, just forget i said that."
you broke into laughter. "no no, i loved that. and you look too cute when you're worried."
a wave of relief washed over ymir, and her usual cocky grin returned. she shifted slightly closer to you, letting her thigh rub against yours.
just as you were about to return the favour by resting your head on her shoulder, you heard a car honk. sasha's head poked out of the car on the road below, beaming from ear to ear.
"Y/N, AS MUCH AS I HATE TO INTERRUPT, WE HAVE A DINNER TO CATCH!" your sister called out.
you shot ymir an apologetic smile as she feigned a look of heartbreak. "you had plans without me?"
"as much as i would have loved to stay, it's a family dinner." you sighed. then you leaned in to whisper in her ear. "i'll see you the next time."
and with that, you got up and skipped down the steps, getting into the backseat and winding down the window to look at ymir one final time.
"bye, ymir!" you yelled over the car engine, waving frantically at the girl standing at the top of the steps.
as the car drove away, it was ymir's turn to sit there dumbfounded, with a hand on her ear as the words you said rang in her head.
"i'll see you the next time."

Pairing: Dean x Female!Reader (Enemies to Lovers)
Word Count: 7,580 (This really got away from me! Lol)
Warnings: Some angst: fighting, Dean gets slapped. A WHOLE LOT OF SMUT. Rough Sex. Vaginal Fingering, Oral sex (Male and Female receiving), unprotected sex (wrap it before you tap it, people!), Dirty Talk, Biting, Some hair pulling, Swearing (there’s sex, so naturally there’s swearing lol). Summary: Jody needs back up on the hunt she’s on, and Sam and Dean aren’t going to be enough. She calls in Y/N Y/L/N, without knowing that Dean and Y/N can’t stand each other. Things come to a head during the hunt, words are said, and feelings are hurt, but something unexpected occurs. Something new with the promise of more, if they only give in to how they actually feel for each other. Based on this request: “Enemies to lovers. Jody calls in another hunter for back up. Her and Dean butt heads, can end however you want :)”
A/N: This was a request from @flamencodiva! I hope you guys enjoy it and please let me know what you think! :)
Tumblr media
Dean pressed harder on the accelerator, the Impala flying down the highway. They were a few minutes away from the main part of town and would soon be meeting up with Jody. Sam was talking to her on the phone, before he hung up.
“Jody there already?” he asked, looking between Sam’s phone and the road.
“Yeah, she’s at the diner on Main Street. Apparently, she’s calling someone else in, too” Sam replied, putting his phone back in his pocket.
Dean frowned. “She say who?”
“No. Does it really matter?” Sam shrugged.
“Guess not” Dean said, rolling his eyes.
Soon, they pulled up and parked outside the diner. Dean led the way across the sidewalk into the diner. He glanced around the room, before they landed on Jody in a booth near the window. She smiled wide when she saw them, getting up.
“Jody” Dean smiled, as he hugged her tight.
“Good to see you boys” she said as she hugged Sam next.
“You didn’t bring the girls?” Sam asked.
“No, they’re at home working on their training with Donna. I would’ve called them in, but Patience isn’t quite there yet. Hence why I called you boys” Jody explained as she slid back into the booth.
Sam was next to the window opposite her, as Dean sat next to him.
“So, vamps, huh?” Dean said, as he glanced over the menu.
Jody nodded. “Whole lot of ‘em, too. Had to call for another hunter.”
“What, we’re not enough?” Dean grinned, jokingly.
Jody rolled her eyes playfully. “She’s good, saved our necks on a Vetala case two months ago.”
“Who is it?” Sam asked.
“Y/N Y/L/N” Jody replied, simply.
Dean dropped his menu and looked up at Jody. She didn’t just say Y/N Y/L/N did she? Jody noticed him staring at her and raised an eyebrow in question.
“What?” she asked.
“You’ve gotta be freaking kidding me” Dean muttered, shutting his eyes.
Jody looked at Sam and shrugged. Sam shook his head. “It’s no big deal, Jody. Dean and Y/N just have a bad history with each other. She’s a great hunter-” Sam explained but Dean cut him off.
“Yeah, if a great hunter steals your kill right from under your nose” he huffed.
Sam glared at him. “Man, would you cut it out? She saved your ass.”
Dean rolled his eyes but said nothing.
“Well, you better act civil because she’s here” Jody said, and jerked her head towards the door.
Dean turned back and saw Y/N walk in. She wore a purple shirt and dark blue skinny jeans, a dark brown leather jacket and her brown, scuffed up hunting boots. She may have annoyed him but damn, she was beautiful. She noticed Jody first and smiled, walking over. As she got closer, her smiled dropped.
Dean freaking Winchester was sitting at the booth, along with Sam. Jody mentioned other hunters coming in for this but failed to mention who they were. Just her luck.
She hugged Jody before she smiled at Sam. Looking at Dean, she watched as his green eyes stared at her intently, somehow angry and hot at the same time.
“Hey, Dean. How’s that leg of yours? You know, I never heard you say “thanks” for getting that wolf off you” she said, rubbing it in.
Dean huffed a bitter laugh. “I could’ve handled it, sweetheart.”
“Geez, I’m regretting this already” Jody mumbled. She clapped her hands once to get their attention. “Guys, can we focus.”
“Sure thing, Jody” Y/N said and sat down next to her, across from Dean.
“Alright, so I tracked the Alpha from Sioux Falls, to here. I followed him to a barn, 20 minutes outside of town. There’s ten in there; more than I can handle. They only hunt when things are busy in town, but tonight’s a curfew because of the killings. So, they’re not going to be heading out to feed. That’s when we get ‘em” Jody explained.
“Sounds like a plan” Y/N smiled.
Later that night, the hunters drove out to where the vampire nest was. They had checked into their motel earlier, except for Jody who said she would drive home that night back to Sioux Falls. As they were prepping, Y/N had felt Dean’s eyes on her the whole time. Every now and then, she’d look over and he’d look away. He was absolutely infuriating, and she just wanted to get this over and done with.
They parked their cars on the main road. There was a forested area that came before the barn, which would shield their cars from being seen. Y/N took out her machete, already sharpened. They walked through the dark forest, Jody and her at the front, with Sam and Dean behind them. They could hear rock music blaring from the barn. Stopping outside, Jody turned to them.
“Alright, Dean you’re with me. We’ll go through the back. Sam and Y/N will go through the front. We good?” she looked between them, especially Y/N and Dean.
“Yeah” Dean nodded, wanting to get this over with.
Jody and Dean went left and walked towards the back of the barn. Y/N followed behind Sam as they walked to the front. Sam looked back at her, a smile playing at his face.
“What?” she asked, quietly as they walked towards the entrance.
“Nothing” he shrugged. “Just wondering why you’re always trying to get under Dean’s skin when you could just admit you like him.”
Y/N scoffed. “You know, you may be a nerd about you’ve never been more wrong about this.”
“Yeah, sure” Sam chuckled to himself.
Y/N ignored as they reached the entrance. She peaked through the crack in the door and saw some of the vampires drinking and dancing to the music.
“Ready?” she asked, looking at him.
Sam nodded, raising his machete.
Jody and Dean rushed towards the back of the barn. Dean clenched his jaw, steeling himself. Jody looked over at him and smiled, slightly. Dean noticed out of the corner of his eye, and looked at her.
“What?” he asked.
“Nothing” she shrugged. “It’s just… if I didn’t know any better, I’d say you have feelings for Y/N, but you’d rather repel her with your anger than tell her how you feel.”
“Feeling okay there, Jody?” Dean asked, sarcastically.
“Hey, I’m just sayin’… you’re both dancing around these feelings, trying to piss each other off and being angry for no reason. There’s nothing wrong with how you feel, Dean” she said, as she took out her machete.
Dean shook his head and said nothing. “Ready?” he asked.
“Yeah” Jody said, as she stood near the back door.
Dean and Jody burst through the back door as Sam and Y/N did from the front. The vampires saw them and split up, half of them heading each way. Y/N raised her machete and beheaded the first male, but the second one, a woman, grabbed her and threw her. She groaned as she landed but scrambled up quickly as it came for her. Sam took the heads off two male vamps and saw that Y/N was down. Before he could get there, she got up and swung her machete, killing the one that threw her into the wall.
Jody killed one and then another, both men. Dean beheaded one female but was now trapped against a pole, as a male tried to choke him out. Sam ran towards the other two and beheaded one, but the other male grabbed him. Jody noticed and ran over, swinging hard and taking it’s head off. Y/N ran towards the other one, and swung, its head fell to the floor as its body let go of Dean and fell.
She breathed heavily as she looked around the barn, before she looked at him. “You okay?”
She put her hand on his shoulder, but he shrugged it off, roughly.
“Like you care” he muttered.
“Everyone okay?” Jody asked.
They all nodded.
They walked back to the cars and cleaned up. Jody smiled at Y/N, as they hugged first.
“You sure you can’t stay and have a drink?” she asked.
“No, I should really get back” Jody replied. “Plus, it leaves your night for some other kind of fun.”
Y/N shook her head. “Not you too.”
“Just give it a chance. What’s the worst that could happen?” Jody asked.
“We could kill each other” Y/N said, not so sarcastically.
“Just try” Jody said, as she smiled knowingly.
“You don’t what you’re talking about” Y/N told her, firmly.
“Yeah, sure” Jody laughed.
She walked over to the boys and hugged them.
Y/N watched as they interacted, they were close. She never realised it. She heard Dean tell her to give the girls their best. He could be sweet with he wanted to be. They were a family. And what he had with Sam… that was something special.
Jody drove off, leaving Y/N with the boys. She walked over to them and smiled, tentatively. Sam smiled at her as he packed up the machetes in the trunk.
“You okay? That vamp really threw you” Sam asked, concerned.
“Oh, yeah, I’ve had worse” she said, shrugging. It was true, she had much worse than being thrown.
Dean sipped his beer as he leaned against the car, ignoring her. He was really starting to get on her nerves.
“Hey, you know I saved your ass. Again. Maybe you could look at me and say something good for a change” she said, her eyebrow raised.
“I didn’t ask you to” he huffed, sipping his beer.
“Yeah, and now I’m regretting it” she scoffed.
“Guys” Sam sighed.
Dean turned to her, jaw clenched, and shoulders tensed. “Fuck, Y/N. What are you even doing here? Maybe go find your own hunt for a change instead of weaselling your way into others.”
Y/N saw red. That was total bullshit. “Not that I owe you an explanation, Dean, but I do find my own hunts. When other people need me, then I help them. I don’t let them down.”
“We never asked you for help with that wolf” Dean recalled.
Y/N rolled her eyes and growled. “Are you seriously bringing that up again? I was in town, passing through! I saw you guys and helped. End of story. If I hadn’t, that wolf would’ve kept your leg as a souvenir!” she yelled.
“Guys, just stop” Sam warned. “Enough.”
Y/N didn’t say anything as she shook her head. She glared at Dean as she walked past him. “Fuck you, Winchester.”
She walked to her car and got in, revving the engine as she drove off, speeding down the highway. Dean looked at Sam for a brief second but when he received a glare from him too, he looked the other way.
“When we get back to the motel, you better stop being an ass and apologise to her” Sam said, as he sat in the car, waiting for Dean to finish his beer.
A sinking feeling made its way into Dean’s stomach. He had really stepped in it this time.
--X--
Y/N stared at herself in the mirror. Despite washing her face to try to cool down, she was still angry. She couldn’t stop thinking about the things they said to each other. Sometimes she just wanted punch him in his perfect face. But then that would ruin said perfect face, Y/N she thought to herself as she walked out of the bathroom. She shook her head, damn him for being so goddamn hot.
Why? Why did she secretly have to be attracted to the older Winchester? Most of the time, it was easy to be angry at him because of his compulsive need to take over everything and run the show. She would channel that anger into hating him, but she had to admit it was just a front, because sometimes Dean was actually sweet. She saw that tonight, with Jody.
Y/N picked up the bottle of whiskey and poured some into a glass. As she stared down at the amber liquid, she thought about how those qualities make Dean who he is. He wouldn’t be Dean without them, and therefore, she wouldn’t be drawn to him. She brought the glass to her lips and gulped down the whiskey. A sharp knock at the door shook her from her musings, as she nearly dropped the glass in her hand. She put the glass down and walked slowly to the door, once again in hunter mode. She didn’t need any surprises tonight. Slightly pushing herself up on her tip-toes, she looked through the peephole.
Dean was waiting on the other side of the door, scrubbing a hand down his face.
“Fuck” she quietly cursed, as she moved away from the door. Why was he here?
“Y/N” his voice came booming from the other side of the door. “Open up, we gotta talk.”
Dean waited as patiently as he could on the other side. After his drink and the guilt of what he said weighing on him, he knew he had to come and talk to her. While she annoyed him sometimes, she was a good person and didn’t deserve to live with what he said. He knew he had pissed her off, and he didn’t want to let the night go by without them talking.
Y/N sighed heavily. Throwing her shoulders back, she took a hold of the doorknob. When she opened it, Dean was struck by her beauty once again.
“What do you want?” she asked, pointedly. She needed this to be over and done with.
Dean gestured towards the room. “Can I come in?”
She rolled her eyes and stood aside. Dean walked in and she closed the door behind him.
“So, um…” he trailed off, not knowing how to start.
“Can you say what you need to say and then leave?” She said, harshly. She was taken aback by her tone, as was Dean.
Dean’s eyebrows furrowed as he blinked a couple of times. “I just came here to apologise for what I said, but if you’re gonna be a bitch about it-”
Y/N scoffed and laughed bitterly. “I think I’ve earned the right to be a bitch, Dean.”
“Wow” Dean shook his head as he looked at her. “Clearly this was a waste of time.”
Dean turned around and headed for the door. She wasn’t going to let him just leave without understanding why he said what he said.
“You had no right to say that to me” she said, taking a step closer to him.
Dean turned around, now it was his turn to scoff. “I know. That’s what I’m trying to tell you. You’d know that if you’d open your mind for one fucking second.”
Y/N glared at him but gave him nothing. She was quiet and Dean took his chance to open his mouth again.
“Listen, I-” Dean cleared his throat and took a step closer to her. “What I said… there’s no excuse for it. I crossed a line and I shouldn’t have. I shouldn’t have gotten pissed at you for stepping in and killing the damn vamp.”
Y/N crossed arms as her jaw clenched. She was trying to keep herself from exploding. “And saving your ass in the process. I’m fucking good at what I do, Dean. I don’t need you questioning me or insulting me!”
“I know” Dean said, trying to keep his cool. “And I’m sorry.”
“Are you really sorry? Maybe this is just another way for you to undermine me. Try to make me believe you so that you can just say whatever the fuck you want to me again!” Y/N stepped closer to him as she stared into his eyes.
“You’re insane” Dean whispered. He closed his eyes. This wasn’t going to end well, and he had no idea how to try and diffuse the situation. He had to think of something quick, though.
“Did you really think I’d be here, trying to make things right, if that’s what I wanted to do?” he asked, as he took a step closer to her. They were close to each other now, so close that he could see her eyes glisten with unshed tears.
She was quiet again. Dean felt like that was almost scarier than her yelling at him.
“Fuck, Y/N” he sighed, scrubbing a hand down his face. “I hated the fact that I said that, and you were mad at me.”
“You’ve never cared about making me mad before, Dean. Why is it different this time?” Y/N asked, but she didn’t really know if she wanted an answer.
Dean shook his head, not knowing how to answer. He knew that if he said something now, he would say too much, and then everything would change.
It was different this time because he had genuinely hurt her feelings and didn’t like that he did that. He had doubted her as a hunter, and that was something you just never do. It made him feel the dirt on the bottom of her shoe and needed to fix that.
“I just-” Dean dropped his head and scratched behind his neck, nervously. “It just is.”
Y/N tried to process what he was saying. He was keeping from her. He looked nervous, like there was something else he wanted to say but he couldn’t.
“You’re lying” Y/N said, firmly. “And I’m done now. So please leave.”
Dean shook his head. If there was one thing he wasn’t, it was a liar. “I’m not lying.”
Her lips pressed into a thin line. Why couldn’t he just let it go?
“Just go, Dean” she said, staring at him. Her expression was blank. She had nothing left to say.
“No.” Dean didn’t move an inch.
Y/N lifted her hands and pressed them against his torso. Even through his shirt, she could feel the hard wall of muscle underneath. She shoved him back slightly, but he didn’t move far. “Leave. Now.”
“I’m not going anywhere, sweetheart” Dean said, staring into her eyes. His eyes were fiery, holding something she couldn’t quite figure out.
She pushed at him harder. “Damn it, Dean. Just go!” She pushed him again. And again. And again. He kept moving back, but he wasn’t leaving.
“Get out!” she yelled as she started to hit her fists against his chest.
Dean tried to calm her down. “Y/N, hey, look at me.”
Dean tried to grab Y/N’s hands, but she kept hitting him, yelling at him to go, to leave her alone. She raised her fist, ready to strike him but in his quick thinking, he grabbed her wrist. She tried to get out of his hold but couldn’t. She raised her other fist, but he grabbed that too, refusing to let go.
“Let go of me” she said, struggling against of his hold.
“Not until you calm down, sweetheart” he said, his gravelly and deep.
She stared up at him as she continued to try and get away from his hold. His eyes were dark, and something about the way he was looking at her lit a fire within her.
“Let me go, Dean” she gasped, trying to get her fists out of his hands.
In that moment, if she had been honest with herself, she really wasn’t trying to get away from him but away from what she was beginning to feel. His gaze never left her, and it caused a fluttering deep in her core, something that she hadn’t expected to feel around Dean Winchester. Yes, she was attracted to him and had been since the first time they met, but she never thought she would feel anything more than annoyance towards him.
Dean looked down at Y/N, the urge to take her in his arms overwhelmed him. He never thought he would feel this way about her. The girl who had pissed him off on several occasions, as recent as a few hours ago. However, in that moment, with her Y/H/C hair floating down her back and a few strands in her face, her perfect lips inciting him, her incredible body so close he could smell her perfume… she was beautiful.
Without thinking, he let the instinct of that moment take over. He leaned down quickly, pressing his lips to hers. Y/N was shocked at first. His lips were soft and perfect. She had to pull away. This couldn’t happen. In the haste of the kiss, Dean had dropped her hands. With them now free, she pushed him away. Not knowing what possessed her to do it, her hand rose and slapped him across the face. Dean’s head turned sharply to the side with the impact. She breathed heavily, the energy from hitting and pushing him, from trying to get away from him, had taken it out of her. Dean looked down at her, his eyes darkened even more, and Y/N felt a heat begin to rise in her core.
Without a second thought, she pushed herself up on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to his. Dean’s hands landed softly on her hips, hesitant at first. When she lifted her hands and placed them on his jaw, pulling him closer, he brought her body closer to his. He deepened the kiss, softly biting her bottom lip. She gasped into his mouth and wrapped her arms around his neck, pushing herself even closer to him. His hands roamed up her back, tangling in the ends of her Y/C/H hair. Their lips still joined, their kisses became harder and rougher, both of them fighting for dominance. She pressed herself harder into him, which caused him to walk backwards a few steps. His back hit the wall as he pulled her even tighter, his arms hard around her waist.
Y/N’s hands roamed his chest and disappeared under his jacket and flannel shirt. She pushed them off his shoulders and helped him take them off his arms, all while their lips never left each other. Her fingers played with the edge of his black t-shirt, pushing it up, she placed her hands against the warm, soft but strong muscle of his stomach. She reluctantly pulled away from his lips and lifted the shirt off him when he raised his arms. She threw the shirt behind her and turned back to him, taking in the smooth lines and hard muscle of his chest and torso. She leaned in and kissed his neck, biting softly. Her lips trailed down his collarbone, biting and sucking near his anti-possession tattoo.
Dean’s hand found its way to her hair and tugged slightly, pulling her mouth away from his collarbone. He leaned and kissed her, roughly. His entire body felt like fire, burning for her and the things she was doing to him. He was painfully hard already, and all they had done was kiss.
He pulled her away from him, his hands still in her hair. “Shit, sweetheart. You have no idea what you’re doing to me.”
“I think I do” she smiled, biting her lip. Her hand ran down his body, before she slowly rubbed it along the crotch of his jeans. She hummed as she felt him, hard just for her.
With a cheeky grin, she quickly started on jeans. She leaned in and kissed the middle of his chest. She slowly started to lower herself and kissed down his body. Her knees landed on the floor as her hands unzipped and pulled his jeans down. His cock sprung free, causing her to moan at the sight.
“Fuck” she whispered, as she took his cock in her hand.
Y/N leaned in and licked the tip of his cock, tasting the salty pre-cum on her tongue. She pressed her lips to the tip before trailing them down his shaft, heading straight for his balls as she began to stroke him with her hand. Her tongue ran over each ball, causing a sigh from Dean. She continued to do that for a few more strokes before she flattened her tongue, travelling all the way up his cock once more. Dean’s hands slipped into her hair as she took the tip in her mouth. She bobbed her head back and forth, sucking softly.
“Fuck, Y/N, just like that,” he urged her on. He clamped his eyes shut and threw his head back against the wall. He breathed in erratically as he looked down at her. “Shit, you look so good with my cock in your mouth, sweetheart.”
She took him deeper, trying to reach the base of his cock. Considering his size, she used her hand to stroke what she couldn’t fit in her mouth. She pulled back and sucked the tip, her pumping along his length. Her other hand stroked and cupped his balls, as he gripped her hair tighter.
“Your cock is so big, Dean. I love the way you taste, so fucking good” she breathed out as she stared up at him and licked a long strip from his balls to the tip.
“Fuck” he groaned. Now she was talking dirty. How did they get from hating each other to this point? It felt surreal.
She went to take him in her mouth again, but Dean stopped her. He pulled her head back by her hair as he stared down at her.
“You’re wearing too many clothes, Y/N” he said, letting go of her hair and taking her hands.
Dean was completely naked as Y/N took in his form. An Adonis stood in front of her and she couldn’t believe she got to have him. If one night was all she got, then she was going to take it. She quickly got rid of her shirt and jeans, but then he stopped her when he saw her black and red lace bra, and matching panties. He leaned down and kissed each breast, her hands coming up and holding his head to her chest. She gripped the short spikes as he reached around and unclasped her bra, throwing it across the room. He gazed at her breasts, her nipples hard from the cool air of the room. He leaned in and kissed her nipple, taking it into his mouth. He nipped at it, causing a moan from her.
“Dean” she gasped, as she felt his hands travel down.
He grabbed her thighs and lifted her up, turning around and pressing her against the wall. He moved one hand around and teased the front of her panties, feeling how wet she was.
“So wet, baby. It’s all for me, isn’t?” he smirked as he looked at her.
“Yeah” she whispered, leaning her head back against the wall.
He rubbed his fingers along the crotch of her panties, feeling her get wetter. She moaned at the feeling, her eyes shut tightly.
“What do you want, sweetheart? You want my fingers inside you? Fucking you, getting you ready for my cock?” he asked, kissing her jaw.
“Yes” she moaned. “Yes, Dean, I want your fingers inside me.”
Dean leaned in and kissed her, hard. He reached down and pulled her panties away from her body, stretching them until the band snapped. He threw the ripped fabric over his shoulder.
“Dean” she scolded him, but the feel of his lips biting her jaw was overwhelming. She didn’t really care about him ruining her underwear.
Dean chuckled deep in his throat, his fingers rubbing the slit. His fingers became slick from how wet she was, and he inserted two fingers into her warm core. Her walls clenched around his fingers, as he continued to push them in and out of her.
“Shit, Y/N. Your pussy’s so fucking wet, my fingers are soaked, baby. God, you’re so damn hot” he said, smirking as he continued to bite at her jaw.
“Fuck, Dean, that feels so good. Yeah, right there” she moaned. She gripped the hair at the back of his head tightly, her hips thrusting hard against his fingers.
“So impatient” he laughed, as he curled his fingers inside her, rubbing against her g-spot.
“Fuck me” she whispered, incoherently.
“What was that, sweetheart?” he asked, smirking as he teased her.
“Fuck me, Dean. I want you to fuck me with that big cock of yours” she said, louder as she stared into his eyes.
Dean pulled his fingers out of her as she sighed at the loss. He lifted her legs, wrapped them around his waist and gripped her hips, tightly. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, thrusting her tongue into his mouth. He moaned as he tasted her, his hand taking hold of his cock, sensitive with how hard it was.
Dean pressed the head of his cock against her slit. As he felt her tug on his hair, he pushed into the cavern of her pussy. He groaned at the feeling of her wet, warm folds against his hard dick and started to thrust into her. She moaned as she threw her head back, her hips thrusting up to meet his. Y/N had never felt so good. He was stretching her walls so perfectly, making her feel so full.
“Dean… you feel so fucking good” she gasped.
“Your pussy feels so fucking perfect around my cock” he grunted, as he gripped her thighs.
The rhythm of his thrusts was good, but she needed more.
“Fuck me harder, Dean. I want you deep inside me” she moaned. “Fuck me hard.”
Dean groaned and obliged her, his thrusts becoming harder and faster.
“Oh fuck, yeah!” she moaned loudly. “Dean… oh god…” she gasped, gripping his shoulders tight, her fingernails making little dents in his skin.
Dean leaned in and kissed her neck, nipping roughly at her pulse. “Fuck, Y/N…” he moaned into her neck.
Dean lifted Y/N away from the wall and carried her over the bed. He pulled out of her and dropped her down on the bed. He turned her onto her stomach, admiring the curve of her ass.
“Hands and knees” he commanded, his voice deep and rough.
Y/N shivered as she did what she was told. The same tone she would get angry at and argue with was now turning her on so much.
She got into position, the anticipation for what was about to come exciting her.
Dean ran his knuckles along her slit, humming at the wetness. He leaned down and pressed his mouth to her entrance, his tongue licking her folds as he grabbed her ass and pulled her closer to his mouth.
“Fuck… Dean, oh fuck yes” her voice hitched, as her hands fisted the sheets.
He thrust his tongue in and out of her, moaning at the taste of her.
“Your pussy tastes so fucking good, sweetheart” he growled, his breath hot against her pussy.
“Dean… I…” she was unable to finish what she was saying. She leaned her head down and bit into her wrist, too overwhelmed by what he was doing to her.
“You what, Y/N?” he mumbled against her folds, before he drove his tongue in deeper.
“Oh please, Dean. Please just fuck me. Fuck me!” she begged. She couldn’t believe the things he was doing to her and how badly she needed even more.
Dean moved away from her and kissed the right cheek of her ass, as he stood upright. “So desperate for my cock. How bad do you want it, Y/N?” he teased.
“I want it so much, Dean. Please, just give me your big cock” she replied, looking back at him.
Dean’s hands gripped Y/N’s hips as he lined his cock up with her entrance. In one swift thrust, he entered her. She moaned, practically screaming as he began a fast pace, his hips thrusting deep as he pulled hers repeatedly onto his cock.
“Shit” he hissed. “So fucking tight, baby.”
The sounds of his hips slapping against her ass, their moans and harsh breaths filled the room. The entire motel could probably hear them, but they didn’t care. All that mattered in that moment was them.
Dean lifted one hand off her hip and slipped it into her hair. He pulled her up, her back flush against his chest as he continued to fuck her.
Y/N gasped as her hand reached up and grasped his short hair. “Fuck.”
Dean turned his head to look her in the eyes, her pupils blown wide with arousal.
“You like what I’m doing, don’t you, sweetheart? You like my cock inside you? Tell me how good it feels” he murmured against her lips.
YN bit her lip as she gazed into his green, lust filled eyes. “Fuck, Dean. Your cock feels so good inside me. So fucking big, fills me so good” she cried out. She took his other hand in hers, taking it off her hip and guided it towards her swollen nub.
“Play with my clit, Dean” she moaned. “Fucking make me cum hard on your cock.”
God, that nearly made him cum right there, but he had to hold on. She was way too good at that. His fingers circled her clit, adding to the pleasure that coursed through her body.
Dean continued to thrust into her hard and fast. He grunted loudly as she clenched around him. “Your pussy takes my cock so good, baby, so fucking perfect.”
With her head still resting on his shoulder and her eyes still looking into his, Y/N gripped his sweaty short spikes in her hand, roughly. “Make me cum on that perfect cock, Dean. Make me yours.”
Dean felt her walls clenching him tighter, and he knew that she was close.
Dean pulled out of her reluctantly. Before Y/N could protest, he flipped her onto her back and climbed on top of her. She automatically wrapped her arms around his neck as he pulled her legs around his waist. He wanted to see her face when she came, he wanted to see what he did to her. Dean looked down at Y/N, her face open and something unspoken in her eyes. Suddenly, the air in the room changed. Something between them changed.
Make me yours. That’s what she had said. She wanted him, he wanted her and not just in this way, but in every other way possible, too.
Dean entered her again, as she gazed up at him, never breaking eye contact. Y/N could feel something change between them. It was quick and it scared her, but she invited the feeling in. His thrusts were deep and hard like before, but the speed became more languid.
Dean took her hands in his, placing them on either side of her head. He pressed his body closer to hers, without crushing her. He leaned in and kissed her, passionately. He pulled away and pressed his forehead to hers, their eyes locked on each other. The energy in the room was charged with something new, something exciting that should’ve been terrifying but wasn’t.
She squeezed his fingers tight, gasping for breath. “Dean, I’m so close.”
“I know, sweetheart” he nodded, “me too.”
His thrusts get slightly faster, wanting them to come at the same time.
“Dean, I-” she started but cut herself off as she moaned at the pressure building inside her.
“Cum with me, Y/N. Cum with me” he groaned.
Dean’s thrusts became erratic, as Y/N moaned loudly, her walls clenching tight around his cock. She looked into his eyes as the coil in her stomach snapped.
“Dean, oh fuck, Dean! Dean!” she moaned his name over and over loudly as she came hard on his cock.
“Fuck, Y/N… I, fuck” Dean muttered as he reached his peak, spilling inside of her.
They stared at each other as they came down from their high, breathing heavily. Dean’s hand came up and softly brushed her hair out of her face. He cupped her cheek in his hand and watched as she leaned into his touch, her eyes closed. He leaned down and kissed her softly. Y/N slowly dropped her legs to the bed as he pulled out of her. She hissed as the loss and the empty feeling, knowing she was going to feel the burn in the morning. She smiled at the thought; she didn’t really mind.
Dean slowly lifted her up and reached for the sheets. He pulled them down and laid her down, her head lying on the pillow. He got up and Y/N frowned, taking his hand in hers. Dean looked at her, his eyebrows scrunched in confusion.
“One sec…” he whispered, as he walked to the bathroom.
Y/N felt the cool air of the room against her sweaty body and shivered. Before she could pull the sheet up, Dean walked out of the bathroom with a damp cloth. He sat down beside her and reached between her legs, cleaning her. She closed her eyes as the effects of their lengthy activities started to take over. She felt him leave, probably to clean himself and then throw the cloth in the hamper, but she ultimately didn’t care. The next thing she felt was Dean slide in beside her and pull the covers over them. She rolled into him, her head resting on his chest.
Dean looked down at Y/N and smirked. She was so blissed out as she rested on him. He wrapped his arm around her and listened as her breath evened out, falling asleep. He stared up at the ceiling, thinking about everything that had happened on the hunt and how it all ended up; with them having sex. Sex that started off as pure adrenaline and tension release, before it became… something more.
He didn’t know what it was; just something that he couldn’t explain. He wasn’t used to this feeling of wanting to be close to someone in the most intimate way. It scared him. Wanting that for more than one night was also a foreign feeling, but as he looked down at Y/N those worries went away. He never thought he would feel this way towards her, but if he was being honest, he always did. He just covered it up and acted out to push away what he felt. Clearly it was the same for her. He could see it in her eyes tonight.
Dean pulled Y/N closer and shut his eyes. For the first time in a long time, he didn’t have any nightmares.
--X--
The morning sun shone through the gap between the curtains. Y/N snuggled further into the pillow, as she felt the rays hit her face. She turned away to avoid the heat on her face and cuddled into the other pillow. Her brows furrowed and her eyes slowly blinked open, adjusting to the light in the room. The space next to her was empty. The sheets were thrown back and only slightly warm, as she smoothed her hand over the sheet. She sat up, holding the sheet to her body. She looked around the room and only saw her own clothes on the floor.
Her stomach sank. There was no sign of Dean. He had left her there, and most likely on his way to whatever was next with Sam. She thought that last night had meant something, something new. Something unexpected, but amazing, nonetheless. She should’ve known this would happen. She took last night for granted and now she was paying for it.
Y/N’s head turned towards the door when she heard keys jingling in the lock. The door opened and to her surprise, Dean walked through holding a coffee holder with two coffees and a small, white paper bag. He tossed her room keys on the table and turned. He smirked when he saw that she was awake. Her hair was a mess and there were small hickeys forming on her neck; he felt a sense of pride as he remembered what occurred the night before.
“Mornin’ gorgeous” he said, walking over to her.
Y/N smiled. She doubted him when she shouldn’t have. It was better he didn’t know that; she didn’t want to hurt him by thinking ill of him for a split second.
“Morning” she sighed.
Dean sat down beside her, the coffee and bag still in hand. He placed them on the bedside table, then slowly moved in, kissing her lips softly. She smiled against his lips. She liked this new side to him.
“I got you those powdered donuts you like and coffee, hint of cream, just the way you like it” he said, when he pulled away. He handed her the cup and smiled.
“Thanks” she couldn’t wipe the giddiness from her face. This was so new, and it should’ve been weird, but all she could think about was how much she actually did care for him. He remembered how she liked her coffee from the one time she ordered in front of him, on that witch hunt. He was so freaking cute.
“So, last night was… uh, unexpected” he mumbled, trying to hide his smirk.
“Yeah, it was” she agreed. “But… god, Dean, it was amazing.”
He smirked. “Fuck yeah, it was.” He leaned in and pecked her lips. He couldn’t stop kissing her and touching her.
The room was quiet before she spoke again.
“So… what now?” she asked, looking him in the eyes. She asked the big question. Someone had to.
Dean took a deep breath, thinking it over. “I don’t know.”
She nodded but waited for him to say something else.
Dean took her coffee-free hand in his and rubbed his thumb over her knuckles. He smiled softly as he looked at her. “All I know is, after last night… I don’t think I can let you go.”
She bit her lip as her heart skipped a beat at his words. “Me neither.”
Y/N leaned in and kissed him, passionately. Dean deepened the kiss, nipping slightly at her bottom lip.
She pulled away, smiling again. “Who would’ve thought all that arguing and pissing each other off would lead to this.”
“Not me” he said, shaking his head. “If the result of that is more of what happened last night, maybe we should piss each other off more often.”
“You better not, if you know what’s good for you, Winchester” she said, as she playfully glared at him.
“I solemnly swear that I’ll try not to” he chuckled.
She laughed. “That’s all I ask.”
She leaned in and kissed him. She smiled as he immediately deepened the kiss once again. Their lips moved against each other’s slowly, but she frowned as he pulled away too soon.
Dean rolled his eyes and didn’t look happy to cut things short. “I wish I could start something up again, but I gotta go. Sam called while I was on my way back here. We gotta head back to the Bunker. Something about Cas needing our help.”
“It’s okay, I understand” she smiled softly, cupping his cheek and grazing her thumb over his stubble.
He leaned into her touch before turning his head and kissing her hand. “Come to the Bunker.”
She nodded. “I will. I just have to do some things for a friend, but I can be there next week.”
“Really?” he asked, trying to not sound too hopeful. It was adorable.
“Of course. I’ve been hearing about it from Jody for so long, I can’t wait to see it myself” she replied, still stroking his cheek.
“I can’t wait to show you” he said, quietly.
She beamed as she leaned in and kissed him.
“Y/N… I really am sorry about what I said. You’re a damn good hunter and I shouldn’t have doubted you-” he started but she covered his mouth with her hand.
She shook her head as she looked into his confused eyes. “You don’t need to apologize anymore, Dean. Clean slate, okay?”
He nodded. She dropped her hand from his mouth. “Clean slate.”
They gazed at each other for a little too long, feeling the same heat from last night rise within themselves.
“You better go. Sam’s waiting for you” she said, taking a sip of her coffee.
Dean groaned. “Yeah.”
Dean reluctantly stood up from the bed and picked up his coffee. He opened the bag and took out one donut, leaving the other two for her. He took a bite and she giggled as the powder stuck to his mouth. She sat up on her knees, hugging the sheet to her body. He cupped her face and kissed her. It was soft and brief but held everything she needed to know behind it.
“You taste good” she smiled, licking her lips and tasting the powder.
He winked. “You taste better.”
She shook her head and rolled her eyes. “See you soon.”
He nodded and kissed her again, once, twice.
Dean winked at her as he walked to the door, before he was gone. She could pinch herself at how everything played out last night. She couldn’t believe it but damn it, she was excited to see what happened next for her and Dean.
Walking towards the Impala, he bit back a smirk. Sam wondered where he had been all night, but Dean didn’t say anything. He probably wouldn’t; at least not for the next hundred miles. It gave him time to think over how everything changed between him and Y/N. They went from hating each other to something much, much better.
He suddenly couldn’t wait for the next week to arrive, and neither could she. They still had a lot to talk about and work out, but one thing was for sure.
They really owed Jody big time.

PANICKING.
MASTERLIST | ARMIN ARLERT X G!N READER
summary : y/n's way of stopping someone from their panicking state is rather strange.
cw : panicking (lol)
NOT TOO MANY hours ago, y/n has fallen asleep. they could feel, how they're slowly drifting into a deep sleep, after a whole day of endless training and torture, before random pair of hands on their shoulders , slightly shook them awake.
a small, quiet groan escaped y/n's dry lips, as their e/c eyes slowly flattered open, right before the same pair of hands shook their shoulders again, but this time way more rougher then before.
"what?!" y/n whisper-yelled, leaning on their elbows, as their eyes finally fully opened. it was dark inside the room, but y/n still could see four silhouettes kneeling next to their bed, all of them different heights.
"guys...? what the fuck are you doing here?" y/n rubbed their sleepy eyes, realising that the four people, who were kneeling next to y/n's bed were their friends jean, sasha, connie and armin, which y/n had little complicated friendship with, but in a good way. at least that's what y/n always thought to themselves.
"oh c'mon y/n! don't tell us you forgot about our secret missing again!" connie threw his arms in the air, trying to keep his tone low, but clearly failing. "shhh!" sasha pressed her pointing finger on her soft lips, while leaning closer to connie's face, signalling for him to calm down his voice, while he just shook his head from side to side, rubbing his forehead.
"oh..." y/n murmured. "oh!" they raised their voice, but not too much for them to wake anyone else up. "the food mission, am i right?" y/n sat up on the bed, watching as sasha's eyes sparkled at the mention of food, which was pretty easy to see, even in a pitch black room.
"exactly. now get your ass up and meet us outside." jean was the first one to stand up, with the others following him right behind, quietly leaving the room.
y/n nodded, not even sure if anyone saw them do so, before putting on their boots, leather jacket and quickly pulling their h/c hair into a messy ponytail. they stood up as quiet as possible, not wanting to get into a trouble, because that definitely wouldn't be the first time it ever happend.
everyone's gaze fell on y/n, the second they walked out of the room. "finally." jean spat quietly, crossing his arms, making y/n roll their e/c eyes. "let's go guys!" sasha slightly jumped up and down, being impatient.
"hi." armin quietly muttered, with a small innocent smile on his face, which gladly y/n returned. "hey. sorry for falling asleep. again." y/n's words made armin softly chuckle. "it's alright." they both smiled at each other, before following the others.
the five of them quietly made their way towards the eating room, turning all around the place every ten seconds, making sure no one's there to catch them. the second they closed the door behind them, after entering the eating room without being caught, a loud sigh escaped everyone's lips.
jean didn't waste any time, before flipping the switch and turning on the lights, getting everyone's attention quickly. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" connie's eyes widened at jean's stupidness, while everyone looked at each other worriedly.
"the last time i checked, none of us had night vision-" jean placed one of his hands on his hip, acting dramatic as usual. "-so unless you wanna keep hitting the tables or fall flat on your stupid face, because you can't see where you're stepping, instead of taking the meat we're here for-" he pointed at the switch, with his other free hand. "be my guest."
"you know what? whatever- let's just take the meat and get the hell out of here." connie sighed as a sign of giving up, before turning towards sasha, who was already opening the door to the kitchen, where all the good food was supposed to be hidden.
"sasha wait! it could be locked-" y/n reached their hand towards sasha, their words being cut off by the kitchen door easily opening. "or maybe not." y/n's hand fall back next to their body, before following sasha inside, with the others right behind both of them.
all five of them started searching in different boxes, cup boards and shelves trying to find something good to eat, unlike the food they normally give them, which can be hardly compared to a normal, healthy food, but it keeps them alive at least.
the door knob clicking and a sound of door opening caught everyone's attention. everybody looked through the kitchen window, that lead into the dining hall, seeing that the person peaking in is no one else, than keith shadis.
y/n's first instincts were to hide as fast as possible, falling onto the ground, hiding under the kitchen window, with their back against the wall and their eyes wide open with shock clearly painted on their face.
y/n looked around the kitchen, seeing that sasha and connie were already hidden behind bunch of random big boxes and jean was right next to y/n , with his knees to his chest, while armin was still standing, staring wide-eyed at the place, where keith was supposed to be standing.
"armin!" y/n whisper-yelled in the lowest tone they could, so no one else would be able to hear them, but armin didn't even flinch, standing still. y/n groaned, before getting on their knees and grabbing armin by his wrist, dragging him down next to where y/n and jean were hiding.
"armin, what the heck was that?" y/n looked at the blonde boy, their faces not too far away from each other. "i knew this was a bad idea, i- i told you guys i am bad at stealing-" armin started quietly freaking out, while y/n turned to their other side, seeing jean motioning for them to calm armin down or else they'll be caught.
keith's loud, but slow footsteps were getting closer and closer, while armin kept panicking about all five if them getting caught and getting into trouble. again.
y/n looked forward, just to see sasha and connie staring right back at them, not being able to do anything from this far. "we're gonna get caught if you won't calm down!" y/n whisper-yelled, placing their hand on armin's shoulder, trying to get the boy's attention.
"shut.him.up." jean quietly hissed from y/n's left side. "armin-" y/n placed both of their hands on each side of armin's face. "i'm really sorry, but there's no other way." y/n slightly shook their head, biting their bottom lip, before pressing their lips onto armin's, stopping him from mumbling and panicking, making the room go finally quiet.
it took few seconds, before armin realised what's going on and shyly kissing y/n back, making them deepen the kiss a little bit, forgetting about the fact, that they could be caught any seconds.
the lights in the dining hall turned off and the sound of door closing made y/n pull away from the urgent, yet gentle kiss, while everyone else got out of their hiding spots.
"oof! that was close." y/n sighed, standing up from the cold floor, before seeing everyone's strange expressions. "wha-" y/n slowly followed everybody's gaze, noticing armin, who was still sitting on the floor his blue eyes wide in shock, while he just staring into nowhere.
"i think you just broke him, y/n." jean rubbed the back of his neck, trying to hold back his laughs, before earning a small slap in chest by y/n. "this is your fault in the first place, because you're the one, who left the lights on." jean scoffed at y/n's words, before turning his back to them, continuing his search for meat.
"now let's get the meat, because i am starving!" sasha clapped her hands together few times, already searching for the meat, with connie joining her, wanting to get out of there already.
"um, armin?" y/n kneeled down in front of the blue-eyed boy, suddenly feeling guilty for kissing him, just to shut him up. it's true, they wanted to know how his soft-looking lips would feel against theirs, but they never imagined it to be like this. "do i need to put you in rice or somethi-"
"oh, y/n! hey!" armin suddenly muttered, acting like he hasn't noticed y/n kneeling in front of him until now. "that was really close, huh?" he quickly stood up from the cold floor, acting like nothing ever happend, a strange, nervous smile settled on his face. "let's go help sasha with the-" armin quickly turned around, ready to walk away from them, before y/n gently grabbed him by his wrist, getting him to turn around and face them.
"look armin- i'm sorry if i made you feel uncomfortable, but you were freaking out and that freaking me out!" y/n started to throw their hands randomly in the air, not even bothering to actually look at armin, the whole kissing situation freaking them out.
"it's just that i really like you and i wanted to do that for a long time, but i-" realisation hits y/n, making their e/c eyes go wide and slowly raised their head to look up at armin,  just to see him wearing the same shocked expression.
y/n opened their mouth, wanting to say something, but nothing out. the second two arms wrapped around y/n's neck, a smaller gasp escaped their lips. it didn't took y/n too long, before seeing that it was armin, who hugged them, gently burying his head into y/n's shoulder.
"i... i like you too, y/n." armin's tone was slightly above a whisper, but loud enough for y/n to hear it. a small chuckle escaped their lips, before wrapping their arms around armin's frame, pulling him closer to them, if that was even possible.
"guys we've got the mea- OH!" sasha jumped into the room, her eyes widening the second she saw y/n and armin, still in tight, comfortable embrace.  y/n pulled away the second they realised everyone's eyes were glued on both of them, while y/n nervously rubbed the back of their neck and armin's blue eyes were stuck on the floor, trying to hide his blushing face.
this isn't what y/n thought their mission for food in a middle of the night would turn into to, but they are glad it did.

OR Thirteen wants to marry River - her previous self did the marrying but thirteen wants to do it herself thd proper way so travels to ask the ponds permission for their daughters hand in marriage ❤️
Thank you for a brilliant prompt! It got a little out of hand but what else is new lol. River is finally getting the wedding she deserves. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Ship: River/Thirteen
Rating: G
Word count: 4500
The Wedding of River Song
“So where are we going?“ River followed the Doctor around the TARDIS console as she was setting coordinates.
“Wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you.“ The Doctor grinned and pulled the lever to set them going.
“Well, will you at least tell me how to dress?“ River pouted crossing her arms in front of her chest. Her wife usually gave her some indication as to what sort of outfit would be suitable. Turning up to a safari in an evening gown was a mistake she intended to only make once. Today, for Valentine’s Day, however, the Doctor was being very secretive indeed.
“Don’t worry about that, got that covered as well…“ The Doctor winked and River sighed:
“Sweetie…“
“Just trust me, okay? It’s not quite time for our date yet. We need to make a quick couple of stops.“ The Doctor revealed as the TARDIS landed.
“It’s Valentine’s Day and you’re telling me you’ve got some other engagements before our date?“ River retorted trying her best not to show her annoyance too much.
“Yeah. Sort of.“ The Doctor scratched the back of her head, feeling a little nervous.
“Do you see how that doesn’t exactly thrill me?“ River raised her eyebrows with a sigh. The Doctor had never been particularly good at doing romance. She had gotten a little better since she had turned into a woman. She had, after all, made the effort to save River from the Library and reunite them in linear time but romance still wasn’t her strong suit.
“Well, yes but it’s not like you’ll be waiting in the TARDIS while I arrange things… plus, you’ll have company, don’t worry, you’ll have a good time!“ The Doctor grinned at her with excitement. She was bursting to tell her what she had planned but then, it wouldn’t be a surprise. After all this time, after everything they’d been through, she deserved something special and she was determined to give it to her. She was not about to ruined it when she had gone through so much effort to make today happen.
“Doctor…“ River groaned in annoyance, all she wanted to do was go for a candle light dinner. Was that really too much to ask?
“You trust me right.“ The Doctor stepped up to her wife and took her hands in hers.
“Unfortunately.“ River rolled her eyes.
“And you love me?“ The Doctor continued, her expression hopeful.
“I’m afraid so.“ River gave her a half-smile. She just couldn’t stay angry with her for long.
“Then do this for me, for Valantine’s, trust me that I’ve got something brilliant planned, just need to sort a few things out, okay?“ The Doctor smiled pressing a kiss to the top of her hands.
“You literally have a time machine, you could have sorted all of this out before now.“ River chuckled shaking her head at her. Why was she in love with such a chaotic idiot?
“Not really, it’s complicated, you’ll see. But there is something I need you to do as well, come on.“ The Doctor pulled her along to the door.
“You are making even less sense than usual, Sweetie.“ River huffed as she followed reluctantly. They stepped out of the TARDIS and found themselves in the front room of 13 Paternoster Row in 19th century London.
“Madame Vastra?“ River looked around confused as she spotted the mistress of the house head towards her with a smile. “Jenny?“ Vastra was accompanied by her wife and maid Jenny Flint who gave them a big smile as well. They had clearly been waiting for them.
“You’re a bit late, Doctor, we’ll have to rush to make the appointment.“ Vastra scolded but not unkindly.
“Sorry, it wasn’t easy to convince her.“ The Doctor smiled apologetically.
“Appointment. What…“ River looked from Vastra to the Doctor and back again. What was going on?
“Don’t worry, Professor, we will have a wonderful time, champagne?“ Vastra offered as Jenny went to the drinks cabinet and poured three glasses.
“Well, don’t mind if I do.“ River wasn’t one to refuse a glass of champagne but she was still confused as to what was going on. “Will someone tell me what’s going on here?“ She asked as she took the glass offered to her.
“Absolutely not.“ The Doctor grinned. “I’ll see you shortly.“ She kissed her wife’s cheek and before River could argue she skipped back into the TARDIS and threw the door shut.
“I feel like I’m missing something.“ River shook her head a little to herself as she watched the TARDIS disappear.
“Thus is the nature of surprises, Professor, but you will figure it out soon enough, I’m sure.“ Vastra smiled and took a sip of her champagne as well. “Strax, bring the carriage round, we must get going.“
——
“Is that…“ Amy stuck her head out of the kitchen. Was she imagining the wheezing and groaning noise that seemed to be coming from outside or could it be that finally, the Doctor was returning after faking his death? Rory had already walked up to the window and pushed the curtains outside to look out into the garden.
“I think it is!“ Rory looked around to her and a wide grin spread across Amy’s face.
“What are you waiting for?“ She pulled her shoes on quickly. “Come on!“ They rushed outside to find the TARDIS in their backyard.
“A whole year, Doctor…“ Amy called out when the door opened. “What…“ She lost her train of thought when she laid eyes on the blonde woman that stepped out of the blue box. Who was she? Had they been replaced?
“Ah yes, sorry, new face!“ The Doctor grinned when she realised why she was looking at her all confused. “Come here Amelia.“ Without waiting for a response she pulled Amy into a hug. “And Rory the Roman!“ She grabbed Rory by the jumper and pulled him in as well. The Ponds were too perplexed to protest.
“I… don’t understand.“ Amy looked the Doctor up and down when she pulled away. They had seen River regenerate so they knew it was very much possible, but this was a lot to take in.
“Yeah, sorry, this bit is going to be a bit complicated…“ The Doctor gave an awkward grin.
“River said you were alive, she didn’t mention you had… changed…“ Rory said trying his best to work through his shock.
“I haven’t yet, not for you, well technically… it’s complicated. You’ll see me again, the old me, about a year from now and you can’t tell him you’ve met me. Sorry. It’s just… in my time, where you are now, I can’t get to you, so I had to come to a time where I knew I wouldn’t run into myself and… I’m rambling, aren’t I, sorry, I… I’ve missed you both so much.“ The Doctor pulled them into another hug. She couldn’t put into words how much she had missed the two of them. Losing them in Manhattan had been one of the most painful experiences of her life. She knew she shouldn’t be going back in her timeline like this but she knew the Ponds wouldn’t be seeing her previous self for a while yet, the risk was relatively low. Also, there was no way she could do today without them.
“You really are… the Doctor?“ Amy grinned as the truth sank in.
“Yeah… very distant future but that doesn’t matter right now…“ The Doctor nodded.
“Have you finally, in the very distant future, realised it wasn’t very nice to keep us in the dark and waiting for so long? You better be taking us on an adventure, Doctor!“ Amy exclaimed having got over her shock. She gave her arm a playful slap.
“Yes, I am, sort of…“ The Doctor chuckled.
“Great! I’ll just grab our coats.“ Rory grinned making his way back to the house.
“But only if they’re fancy coats, you’re going to a wedding.“ The Doctor called out, stopping him in his tracks halfway down the garden path.
“Sorry, what?“ Amy didn’t know if she had heard her right and Rory came back.
“A wedding.“ The Doctor repeated. “My wedding, actually. To your daughter. She doesn’t know about it yet but… anyway, Mr Pond, how would you feel about me marrying your daughter? Again. Properly. I mean, that’s what you’re meant to do, right? According to Earth tradition, ask the father of the bride first?“ She grinned at Rory who looked back at her dumbfounded.
“I uh…“
“Okay, I’ll take that as a maybe… Amy?“ The Doctor looked to Amy hopefully who was as perplexed as her husband.
“Hang on… did you just say you want to marry River again?“ She asked, needing to confirm she was getting this right.
“Yes. Wasn’t exactly a dream wedding, was it, on top of that pyramid, in an aborted timeline and all that. River has never complained but… I did ask her a while back if she’d want to do it again, properly and she said yes, so… I mean, I didn’t exactly look my best on the day and look at me now.“ The Doctor grinned tossing her blonde hair in amusement.
“But you’re not wearing that, are you?“ Amy looked her up and down.
“What?“ The Doctor looked down herself.
“You look like you got that charming combo from a charity shop.“ Amy couldn’t help but point out.
“Well, I did.“ The Doctor retorted, she didn’t really see what was wrong with her outfit but she had anticipated this problem. “Well, I do have a suit in the TARDIS.“ She revealed. “You still haven’t said yes yet, either of you.“ She put her hands on her hips expectantly, looking back and for between her in-laws.
“Well, of course you can, you moron, let us get our Sunday best and let’s get going!“ A wide grin spread across Amy’s face. She was going to see her daughter get married!
——
“Where are we going?“ River looked out of the carriage window.
“To get you a dress of course.“ Jenny grinned with excitement.
“Well, I do have plenty of dresses, she needn’t have gone through all this trouble.“ River chuckled. “But I must admit, this is fun.“ It had been a long time since she had seen the Silurian detective and her wife, they were wonderful company.
“You haven’t got a dress like this.“ Vastra smirked and the carriage came to a halt.
“You haven’t seen the size of my wardrobe.“ River grinned but obliged and followed them out of the carriage. She nearly tripped over when her eyes fell on the shop they had stopped in front of.
“Is the penny dropping, Professor?“ Vastra laughed at the look on River’s face as they found themselves in front of a bridal store.
“You can’t be serious. She can’t be serious.“ River shook her head to herself, she couldn’t believe it. Her hearts jumped into her throat and she had to force herself to take a deep breath to calm herself. She hoped she wasn’t jumping to the wrong conclusions but how could she be?
“From what the Doctor said you have waited an awfully long time for this. Some things should be done the proper way.“ Vastra revealed confirming her assumptions. She took the professor’s hand to reassure her.
“Let’s get you a wedding dress.“ Jenny grinned and took her other hand as they walked her up to the door.
“I think I’d better, hadn’t I…“ River breathed, trying her best to keep her emotions in check.
——
“Alright, let’s get the flower arrangements done, come on people, chop chop!“ Nardole clapped his hands together.
“Who put him in charge?“ Heather mumbled and Bill laughed.
“I think it’s cause he used to work here once…“ She replied fastening the last garland of white flowers to the balustrade of the balcony.
“Just can’t get the staff these days.“ Nardole huffed carrying on with his mission to make sure everything was just right.
“Maybe that’s cause we’re not staff but the Doctor’s friends and guests?“ Clara offered ushering the next load of guests in. The guest list the Doctor had provided was quite the challenge to accomplish but what good was having a time ship if not to get your best friend’s friends together from all over time and space.
“You just see to it that you get everyone here on time.“ Nardole jabbed his finger at her making her laugh. Despite the stress of organising it all, there was a buzz of excitement in the air. Clara’s heart lifted for seeing so many familiar faces. She had seen so much of the Doctor’s past when she had been inside their time stream and she knew how important each and everyone of these people where to them.
“I think we’ve got everyone now.“ Me pointed out looking around. “A few more TARDISes wouldn’t have gone amiss though. Did we miss anyone?“ She looked to Clara who checked the guest list.
“No, I think now there is just one trip to Victorian London to do.“ She grinned. “Time to get changed!“
“This place is beautiful.“ Kate Stewart observed stepping onto the balcony accompanied by Osgood. Everyone was having a good look around before the ceremony started and the view from the balcony really was quite something.
“What is that music?“ Martha asked as she leaned onto the balustrade, marvelling at the twin towers in the distance. A mild breeze carried a melody with it leaving them in awe. The sun was just settling in the distance.
“Nobody really understands where the music comes from. It's probably something to do with the precise positions, the distance between both towers. Even the locals aren't sure.“ Everybody looked around to see the Doctor stepping out of her TARDIS. She was wearing a black tuxedo and bow tie, her expression was one of unadulterated joy as she beamed at the sight of all her friends gathered.
“Doctor!“ Bill exclaimed in excitement.
“Wow, that’s not what I expected.“ Martha was dumbfounded. Clara had told them the Doctor had changed faces but that was quite the change indeed.
“Is the tux too much?“ The Doctor asked, feeling insecure for a moment at everyone’s gaping expressions.
“No, it’s just right.“ Amy reassured her as her and Rory urged her to keep going.
“Is everybody here?“ The Doctor asked slowly as she looked around. She felt a little overwhelmed seeing everyone. So many friends that she hadn’t seen in such a long time and yet they had all wanted to come. She couldn’t express how grateful she was to all of them.
“I think we’re just waiting for the bride now.“ Tasha Lem spoke up. “How about everybody has a seat?“ She gestured to the rows of chairs to either side of the aisle.
“I best be on my way then.“ Clara grinned. “You don’t mind if we take your TARDIS, do you? Less bulky than the diner.“
“Sure, yes of course.“ The Doctor nodded with a smile as the TARDIS hummed in agreement. She couldn’t very well deny the Old Girl when River was her child in a way, too. Slowly, the Doctor walked to the front as Clara disappeared with her TARDIS. Her nerves were catching up with her now as she found herself the centre of attention. Tasha gave her an encouraging smile as the Doctor came to a halt in front of her.
“Are you quite alright, Doctor.“ She asked tilting her head a little and the Doctor forced a smile. This was a whole lot more nerve wracking than she had imagined. It had all sounded like such a great idea at the time.
“You’re not nervous are you?“ Jack teased leaning forward in his chair.
“No. I’m not nervous. Why would I be nervous. Not the first time I’m getting married, is it. This is perfectly fine, no big deal…“ The Doctor huffed trying to gather herself as she grasped her hands together in front of her to keep them still.
“Would you look at that, the Oncoming Storm, trembling in the evening breeze.“ Jack smirked.
“I’d like to see you do this.“ The Doctor shot him a glare.
“Maybe you will, one day.“ Jack laughed putting his arm around Ianto who was sitting next to him. “Or maybe you won’t, seeing as you didn’t pick me for best man…“ He feigned hurt. “Who is your best man anyway?“ He asked looking around. The Doctor was looking rather lonely standing at the front with just Tasha to officiate.
“Best lady, thank you very much.“ Missy walked along the side of the chairs towards the front checking her hair in a pocket mirror. Kate and Osgood exchanged concerned looks, Bill huffed:
“Who invited you?“
“Why, the Doctor of course.“ Missy smirked as she made her way to the front.
“Who’s that?“ Yaz asked leaning forward in her chair, sitting just behind Bill and Heather.
“That’s the Master, the Doctor’s oldest… I don’t even know what anymore…“ Bill replied. She couldn’t believe she was here and that the Doctor would actually have invited her.
“That’s not the Master…“ Graham looked on in confusion.
“Probably a younger version of the Master that you know.“ Kate explained and Ryan asked:
“What would make her invite her, she’s like her worst enemy.“
“Or oldest friend… It’s… complicated.“ Bill thought back to the time she had spent with the Doctor while he had tried to help Missy change. She couldn’t presume to understand the relationship between the Doctor and the Master. She hadn’t then and she didn’t now. But she trusted the Doctor and if she had invited her, she had done so with good reason.
“You made it.“ The Doctor stated as Missy came to a halt in front of her. She tried her best to ignore the concerned whispers amongst her friends. She had had to invite her. Things were complicated to say the least but she couldn't do this without her oldest friend. Things had gone too far with the Master she had last seen, she couldn’t forgive him, but with Missy… it had been the closest she had felt to the Master in millennia.
“Evidently.“ Missy hummed. “Well, I could hardly refuse my oldest friend.“ She looked her up and down. “You are old. Where am I in your time?“ She tilted her head, she could tell this Doctor was a whole lot older than the one she had last encountered on Skaro.
“That’s not important. I’m glad you came.“ The Doctor smiled, she didn’t want to dwell on what was yet to come for her, she just wanted to be happy for her being here.
“I wouldn’t miss the wedding of my best enemy, now, would I.“ Missy smirked as she looked at all the guest gathered on the balcony. Quite a few of them she remembered and was disappointed to find alive still. “But where is the bride?“
As if on cue, the TARDIS materialised at the far end of the aisle and the Doctor’s hearts nearly skipped their beats. The door opened and the Doctor let go the breath she was holding. It was Clara.
“No peeking, Doctor, I just need your in-laws.“ Clara grinned as she waved for the Ponds to go in while she went looking for her seat along with Vastra, Jenny and Strax.
“Clara, dear, don’t you look ravishing.“ Missy winked at Clara who turned a little pink but squared her jaw as she dropped into her seat next to Me. She wasn’t sure how she felt about the Master being here but it was the Doctor’s decision after all. The Ponds meanwhile disappeared into the TARDIS.
——
“I was gonna be cool and now I’m gonna cry.“ Rory took a deep breath, he had not been prepared for seeing his daughter in a wedding dress. They might not have been a traditional family but no matter what, she would always be his little girl, and this hit home. River was wearing a beautiful long wedding dress and her hair was pinned back with white flowers in it.
“And I thought I was going to be a mess.“ River chuckled and pulled her parents into her arms.
“Are you okay?“ Amy asked softly as they let go. She took River’s face in her hands, searching her eyes for an honest answer.
“I think so.“ River took a deep breath trying to compose herself. She couldn’t put into words how happy she was to see her parents again and how grateful she was to have them here now. It seemed as though the Doctor had put a lot of thought into planning this. The reality of it had yet to sink in. She couldn’t allow herself to think about it too much, she was worried that if she did, she would cry and ruin her make up.
“You’re not nervous are you?“ Amy chuckled.
“Where you in on all this?“ River asked, trying to wrap her head around it all.
“No, the Doctor only just picked us up! We will have to go back to our life to travel with her younger self again after this but… We wouldn’t miss this for anything in the universe.“ Amy kissed the top of her daughter’s head and gave her an encouraging smile.
“I am so glad you’re here.“ River smiled, her voice faltering just enough to betray the depth of her emotions. “So what do you think?“ She tried to play it off and took a twirl in her elegant white gown.
“Absolutely beautiful.“ Amy smiled, every inch the proud mother of the bride.
——
“Right okay, stay cool…“ The Doctor mumbled to herself taking a deep breath.
“You’ve never been cool.“ Missy teased and the Doctor groaned in annoyance:
“Fuck off, Missy…“
“Swearing now, too, Doctor? Things have changed, I’ll say.“ Missy chuckled, delighting in the Doctor’s obvious tension.
“I’m fully expecting you to have come with some evil ploy to ruin the day… but I’m still glad you came.“ The Doctor looked to Missy hoping she understood why she had asked her here.
“Well, if I hadn’t, who would have brought you these?“ Missy sighed as she pulled out a small box. She opened it to reveal two pale wedding bands.
“That’s…“ The Doctor’s eyes widened in shocked but Missy didn’t allow her to dwell on it and get overcome by emotion.
“Dark star alloy… beats whatever pathetic excuse for wedding rings you’d planned on.“ She waved dismissively. “I mean, I only met the Professor once that time in prison but I have an eye for these things… not sure yours will fit now though, you’re much smaller than I remember.“ She grabbed the Doctor’s hand to look at her fingers.
“I’m not small! Look who’s talking.“ The Doctor huffed, she was still taller than her. “Oi!“ She pulled her hand back.
“Be back in a minute.“ Missy winked and hit the button on her vortex manipulator, disappearing into thin air.
“I swear this place must be giving off the biggest concentration of space time anomalies this side of the known universe…“ Kate shook her head to herself.
“There we are.“ Missy reappeared only seconds later. “Don’t look at me like that, what’s time travel good for if you can’t even get your best friend’s wedding ring resized.“ She smirked as she checked the rings again.
“Thank you, Missy.“ The Doctor gave her a soft smile and reached out to give her hand a squeeze. She didn’t have the words to say how much this meant to her, she could only hope she knew. Missy didn’t respond at first, she didn’t seem to know what to say, perhaps, just for a moment, she was overcome with emotion herself, so she pulled something else from her pocket to move the conversation along.
“Got you this as well, you wanted to do this properly, didn’t you.“ She handed over a scarlet ceremonial scarf to Tasha. High Gallifreyan symbols were embroiled on it in golden cross-stitch.
“That’s from home.“ The Doctor realised it was the sort of scarf used to officiate weddings on Gallifrey. With the planet destroyed she hadn’t thought it possible to find one.
“Your keen observational skills amaze me.“ Missy tried her best with a sarcastic quip but she couldn’t quite deliver it under the circumstances. “Only borrowed though, who knows, maybe I’ll want to get married one day.“ She shrugged and went to check her appearance in her pocket mirror again, ensuring she wasn’t showing any undo emotions. The Doctor, in turn, swallowed her emotions as well, they both knew how much this meant to either of them, it didn’t need saying.
“Old and burrowed.“ The Doctor smiled nodding at the ceremonial scarf. “And something new.“ She pointed to the rings in her hand and then turned her attention to the TARDIS.
“And something blue.“ Missy smiled and gave the Doctor’s hand a squeeze, allowing herself one brief moment of letting her guard down.
——
“Right, I better go and sit down. Let the father of the bride do the walking.“ Amy took a deep breath. “Do not stumble and embarrass your daughter.“ She jabbed her finger at Rory who straightened his tie.
“You just had to say that, didn’t you, now I’ll be watching my feet the whole time.“ He huffed and River chuckled.
“How about you watch out for me instead, Dad, hm?“ She looped her arm around his.
“I think I can manage that.“ Rory smiled and pressed a kiss to the side of her head. The TARDIS wheezed and hummed behind them, drawing their attention to the console. There was a bouquet of exotic flowers sat on top of it.
“She’s really thought of everything, hasn’t she…“ River said softly as Amy fetched the flowers for her and handed them over. “I can’t believe she managed to do all this and keep it from me…“
“I think shes had a lot more help than she would admit.“ Rory chuckled as Amy left the TARDIS. “Can’t pull off a Valentine’s surprise like this without accomplices.“ He smiled to his daughter who took another deep breath struggling for composure. “Ready?“ He asked.
“Ready.“ River smiled.
——
“Try not to cry, that would be so undignified.“ Missy mumbled to the Doctor but she never even took her words in. The moment River stepped out of the TARDIS, time itself seemed to grind to a halt, at least for the Doctor. The last rays of the slow Darllian sunset caught in River’s curls and the singing of the towers seemed to pick up with the light breeze. Their eyes met down the aisle and both the Doctor and River Song smiled, they didn’t need words, they both understood. An impossibly journey had brought them to this moment, surrounded by friends and family, a moment of pure joy and love that radiated through all of time and space. The Doctor thought of the towers as she listened to their enchanting melody. They’d been there for millions of years, through storms and floods and wars and... time… as she intended for her and her wife to be.

Lol so um how about writing a Hogwarts graduation party and Sirius and Remus are so excited to go with eachother? They are getting ready separated all day and will meet at the ball.. I would really like to read a Hogwarts graduation ball from you. Thank you already and don't forget that you're amazing 💞💞
Thank you!! This is super late and way longer than I meant it to be lol,, but I hope you like it! And I’m sorry!
* * *
“Lily, stop. I’m not wearing it.” Remus stomped his foot and turned from Lily. She rolled her eyes at his dramatic display and put a hand on Remus’ shoulder to spin him. He glared down at the eyeliner pencil in her hand. She looked at him until he locked eyes with her.
“Remus, please?” He shook his head. “Okay how about this. I put it on, you hate it, we take it off. Piece of cake.” Remus raised his eyebrows at Lily. “But,” she continued, “if you like it, we keep it. Yeah? It’s a win-win situation,” she finished, smiling. It was Remus’ turn to roll his eyes.
“Fine,” he said. “Fine, But I’m going to hate it.” Lily just nodded and motioned for Remus to sit.
* * *
“Jamie, which shirt?” Sirius held up two white shirts, both of which looked identical in James’ opinion.
“What?” he asked. Sirius blinked.
“Which shirt?” he repeated. James furrowed his brows, pulling on his robes and straightening the collar. He looked at the shirts again.
“They’re the same shirt,” he said, the sentence more a question than a statement. Sirius sputtered.
“They’re—James—no—are you kidding me—they are nothing alike!” he finally spat out. James’ eyes widened behind his glasses. “This one,” Sirius said, shoving his right arm forward, “has lace trimming!” He widened his eyes. James flinched and cringed away from the lace but from the look Sirius gave him, he stood straight again.
“Lace,” he said skeptically and Sirius rolled his eyes. He pulled the dress shirt on, though, and started working at the buttons. James went back to fixing his collar.
* * *
Remus didn’t hate the eyeliner. He so much did not hate it. Lily was grinning down at him from where she was standing above his seated figure, holding the mirror up in front of him. He kept blinking, not quite used to...well, liking himself. He said as much to Lily, who flicked him.
“Shut up, Lupin, you’re hot,” she said, pulling the mirror away from him and placing it back on her bedside table. Remus scoffed. “No, really,” she said. “Plenty of the girls in our year have had a crush on you,” she finished, shoving the makeup drawer closed. Remus decided he didn’t want to talk about it. Not when only one person mattered tonight.
Remus was new to all of this—all of...Sirius. So far they’d shared an awkward conversation full of gay epiphanies, a broom closet or two and snatches of the empty dorm walls where they could share breaths and tangled limbs. They hadn’t been on a real, literal, actual date yet. Remus felt jittery. On edge. Full of hope. Lily laughed at the glint in his eyes. He flicked those said eyes over to her.
“What?” he asked, trying to sound bitter but failing with the sweet thought of Sirius on his mind. Lily grinned wider and leaned toward the mirror, pinning back a stray piece of hair.
“Nothing,” she mused, “I just...” she paused for a moment and only when her hair was successfully pinned back did she continue. “It’s finally happening,” she settled on. Remus furrowed his brow. “Remus and Sirius. Seventh year. About time,” she said. Remus laughed and rolled his eyes.
“Says you, Miss ‘I’d rather date the giant squid,” he said, and Lily grimaced. “Miss ‘never in a million years, Potter.” Miss ‘you’re a right gi—“
“I get it,” Lily cut in, flicking Remus again despite the amusement dancing in her eyes. “But look at us, huh? Lupin and Evans, going to the ball with Potter and Black.” Remus grinned, not able to help it. He was happy. Despite the war, despite the nearing full moon, despite everything, he was happy.
* * *
“Oh shit, hold on,” Sirius said, sticking a hand to James’ chest to stop him in his tracks. Sirius turned back and ran into the dorm, reappearing with his wand before quickly tucking it into the eccentric braided updo he’d configured earlier. James gave Sirius’ wrist a small tug.
“We’re gonna be late, Padfoot,” he comaplined, looking down the stairs. “And I have an extremely smoking hot redhead waiting for me—ow!” He yelled when Sirius hit his wrist. “What in Merlin’s name was that for?” he asked, following Sirius when he started down the stairs.
“‘Smoking hot’? Don’t be a dick,” Sirius said, straightening his dress robes. James scoffed.
“I was complimenting her,” he said, but cringed at the immediate defense. Sirius did too.
“So say her eyes are pretty, don’t objectify her,” Sirius retorted. They’d reached the bottom of the steps while James was muttering an apology.
* * *
Lily and Remus were waiting for the both of them outside the doors to the Great Hall when they got there. The first thing anyone said came from James.
“Hey, Lilypad, sorry for objectifying you,” he said. Lily raised an eyebrow while Sirius looked smug.
“You’re bout 6 years too late for that, Potter, but I’ll take it,” she said. Sirius barked a laugh, nudging James. Sirius. Oh wow.
Sirius in his dress robes was...really something. His dark hair was braided back into a twisted bun, loose enough for a few strands of it to fall around his face. His face. Merlin, Sirius’ face was so fucking pretty. His eyelashes casting light shadows on his face when he blinked, his lips quirked up in a smirk at James and Lily, the eyeliner darkening his eyes, it was all too much. No, it was enough. More than enough. Remus shook his wrist like the movement might clear his head. He looked back over to Sirius and did quite the opposite. His head was flooded with every shared touch, every breath hot against his skin, every fingernail dug into his back—he blinked. Blinked again. Sirius walked forward.
“Hey,” he whispered, looking Remus up and down. Remus smiled at the wink Sirius threw him. “Is that eyeliner?” he asked, a hint of approval in his voice. Another couple walked by, opening the Great Hall doors and letting some music out with it. Remus hadn’t realised that Sirius might be... affected by how he looked. He knew Lily looked stunning, he could understand why James was still half-frozen in front of her, just taking her in.
Her hair fell down around her shoulders, the top half tied back in twists and braids Remus was sure even Sirius would be jealous of. The dark green dress she was wearing was really it though. It matched her eyes and hugged her body, flaring out just slightly at the hips, reaching down to her ankles to where she was wearing a golden pair of heels, the thin straps buckled all over her ankles. The gold paired nicely with the green of the dress and she had on golden make up, a golden bracelet and, a necklace that Remus hadn’t seen before. It had a golden snitch on it. Remus smirked, knowing that would have been from James, knowing he doesn’t play seeker whatsoever so it was a stupid idea. Lily grinned when she caught Remus’ eye, though, and reached her hand up to touch the necklace, almost unknowingly. Remus smiled and turned back to Sirius.
“Lily made me,” he said. It was partly the truth. Sirius loosed a breath, grinning.
“Well I am... glad she did,” he said, and Remus laughed. He reached out for Sirius’ hands, taking them in his inbetween them. His eyes tracked the rings, glinting on his fingers, the dark polish that adorned his nails, down to the cuffs of Sirius’ dress shirt. He smiled.
“Is that lace?” he asked, fiddling with the lace trimming on his cuffs. Sirius smiled proudly.
“Prongs didn’t want me to wear it,” he said, shooting James a glare. James was too entranced in Lily’s eyes to notice. They were mumbling to each other, all soft smiles and light touches. Remus smiled and turned back to Sirius.
“I’m glad you did,” he said, and Sirius smiled back. He reached his arm forward to brush a curl from Remus’s eyes and Remus shuddered. “Come on,” he said and pulled Sirius after him. Sirius obliged and tapped James’ shoulder, getting both his and Lily’s attention. They opened the doors together.
* * *
Remus’ face shone in the blue lighting as him and Sirius swayed to the song playing in the Great Hall. That eyeliner was doing things to Sirius. Things he’d been suppressing all damn night. Seventh year. It was seventh year and they were graduating and Sirius was holding Remus in his arms. Remus smiled slightly, wrapping his arms tighter around Sirius’ neck and pulling him closer. The few inches of space between them was gone, and Sirius positively melted. Remus’ tawny curls were nestled against Sirius’ neck, his scarred fingers running patterns back and forth smoothly along Sirius’ throat. Sirius lifted one hand from Remus’ hip and ran his fingers through those curls, soft and tangled in his hands. Remus moved his head back only enough to look Sirius in the eyes. When he spoke, his voice was strained from the yelling and singing from the night.
“I’m happy,” Remus said simply. Sirius couldn’t help the grin that spread over his face. Remus smiled back in result of it. They were so close their noses were almost touching when Sirius whispered back.
“Me too.” Remus closed the gap between them, pulling his hands tighter around Sirius’ neck and still swaying them slowly to the music. Remus tasted like punch and salted cashews and his lips were soft against Sirius’. Sirius really was happy. He was so, inexplicably happy. When Remus pulled away, Sirius twirled him, warranting an unexpected laugh that Sirius felt all over once Remus’ chest was back against his. Sirius glanced over to James and Lily, seated at one of the tables and laughing. Seventh year was good, but Sirius was sure that the next few were going to be even better.

Pairing: BF!Yunho x Fem!Reader
Genre: Fluff დ
Warnings: Language, anxiety
Word Count: 1.7K
DISCLAIMER: Please remember that mental disorders need professional treatment and having a s/o isn’t the solution for those problems. Yes, having someone to support you might help a lot but again, not the solution! If you’re in this situation please please try to get some help, and stay safe! ♡
A/N: reposted from my side blog lemonadewritings (which will be deleted)
Tumblr media
I do not own this pic, credits to owner.
Summary: basically (y/n) is having an existencial crisis (same lol) because she just finished college and doesn’t know what to do next. Yunho is the amazing bf who showed up and is a cutie. (I don’t know a better way to put this without spoiling the whole thing).
“It’s the first Monday at home, with nothing to do since college is over. You graduated last friday, but since we're in the middle of a pandemic you couldn't even celebrate it. It was just over.
“Now go find a job” said your mom enthusiastically, who certainly was tired of being your money provider.
But it is not that simple, and you felt powerless just imagining how hard it would be. Even getting the internship to finish your last year was hard as fuck, imagine trying to get a paid job. You tried to get these thoughts out of your head so that you could get some more sleep.
Pointless. The moment you felt your eyes almost shutting another wild thought popped up.
“I can’t go back to my parents’ house. I cannot go back to that shitty hometown of mine. I won’t be able to handle all that stress and fuss about all aspects of my private life. I need to find a job here, and as soon as possible!!”. You let out a loud sigh and scream into your pillow. It was too frustrating, not knowing what to do next. No one prepared you for this. You were way too focused on graduating and never thought about what you would do next, now you have to deal with your existential crisis.
You turn around again in bed and try to sleep a bit more, once again. You don’t even know what time it is but you’re pretty sure you should be up already, assuming by the sunbeams that have been reflecting into your mirror and back to your face for a while now.
Tumblr media
You don’t know how much more time you’ve slept until your doorbell started ringing furiously, but you felt like a truck ran over you and did reverse and ran again. You still got up, this time the frustrating feeling of before is gone. Now you just do not feel a thing. It’s like you’re not there but you’re aware of everything, it’s like someone had put you in automatic mode.
You finally got to the door, and the doorbell only stopped when you opened it. A small feeling of warmth ran over your body as soon as you saw that it was Yunho, your boyfriend. You’ve never seen that expression on his face though. It was a mixture of worry and relieve.
“(y/n) are you okay?? Did something happen? It’s already 2 pm and you haven’t texted me back nor answered the phone!” As he says this, with a bit of panic in his voice, he gives you the biggest hug ever. You reluctantly hug him back, resting your forehead in his shoulder.
“My phone must have died during the night.. I-I was sleeping..”, you stutter feeling a bit dizzy and out of yourself.
Yunho pulls away to look at your face and gives you a little smile. He shuts the door and walks with you to your bedroom, his hand on your lower back guiding you and giving the soft feeling of support. You still feel like you’re not there, so you don't even notice the face Yunho makes when he sees the mess your room is. He immediately realises that you are in fact not okay. Hell, he realised it as soon as you opened the door but the state of your bedroom and the fact you were sleeping until now, those were major indicators of an anxiety crisis attacking you.
“Babe, what’s wrong?” the tall boy holds your arm helping you onto the bed again, seeming even taller now, “You wanna talk?”
He sat next to you in your bed and held your hands, giving you a look of comprehension and empathy. You looked at him and in your mind your thoughts started running a 1000 miles per hour and you couldn’t focus on one. But you knew that externally you just looked blank. The panic going on inside your mind didn’t trespass to your skin and you were living it alone. You wanted to tell Yunho but you didn’t know how, so you just shook your head negatively and snuggled next to him.
You both stayed like that for a while. His left arm over your shoulder, your face buried in his chest and his right hand caressing your thigh softly. Yunho knew you well enough to not talk or do anything else until you were ready for it.
The smell of your boyfriend's freshly washed clothes mixed with his calm heartbeat helped you to calm your mind a bit, and a couple of minutes later you finally found the guts and the words to talk.
“I’m not feeling well Yunho.. but.. I.. I.. don’t know how to explain.. and”, your thoughts started rambling again and you couldn’t finish your sentence.
“It’s okay (y/n)..”, Yunho held you tighter and placed a soft kiss on your forehead, resting his chin over your head while you let a tear slip and roll down to his light blue hoodie, your heart racing.
“Have you eaten anything yet?” you shook your head, still buried in his chest. “So I assume you didn’t take your meds either…?” once again, you don’t look at him, only shook your head no. You notice that he is clearly worried, and you know he is also a bit mad that you didn’t take your medicine. And yet he keeps talking to you in a calm tone, knowing too well that getting angry at you wouldn’t do any good.
He gets up holding your hand and the biggest smile he could pull off, indicating that he wants you to go with him. You groan, not wanting to leave the only place where you can feel comfort even when this big storm his happening inside you.
“Come on, (y/n)! Your room stinks, we need to open a window!” He chuckled and that actually made you smile for a second. Looking up to his adorable puppy eyed face you couldn’t just say no, so you stood up. “And you have to eat!”
Yunho led you all the way to the couch in your living room, way tidier than your bedroom which made you realise that you had been living in a big fat mess the past couple of days. Your boyfriend worked over the weekend and your roommate had moved out last week, leaving you all alone to your thoughts.
In the meantime, you asked Yunho to order pizza from your favourite place, and he made you promise you would take your meds and keep your phone alive for now on. You kissed his cheek as a way of sealing the deal and both of you smiled. Your heart was still racing and your mind a mess, but you decided that you would never want to leave your boyfriend this worried about you again, it wasn’t fair. So, you took your meds, ate pizza with him and fell asleep (again) while watching a random movie that was on at the time.
Tumblr media
When you woke up, for what seemed to be the hundredth time that day, you were alone, the TV was pitch black and you had a warm cozy red blanket wrapped around you like a burrito. You felt so comfortable and calm, all your thoughts of before settled down. You were still a bit overwhelmed, but nothing compared to this morning. You concentrated to try and figure out any sound that would give away Yunho’s presence in your apartment. But nothing. All you could hear was the raindrops hitting the window.
It was darker now, and you picked up your phone from the coffee table, now fully charged. You don’t remember putting it there nor charging it, so you assumed Yunho did it for you. The thought of him taking care of you made you blush and your heart skipped a beat, even though you have been dating for almost a year now. He simply had that much power over you, and every time you’re with him you still feel like it’s the first time, falling for him over and over again.
You texted your boyfriend thanking him for everything and apologising for your behaviour. You get embarrassed whenever this happens and you can’t get out of it for yourself. You never wanted to feel dependent on someone else and had always taken care of your problems alone, so having someone else to help you always makes you feel guilty, like you’re a burden to them.
Your phone lit up.
Yunho: YOU ARE NOT A BURDEN!
Yunho: Sorry for yelling at you.
Yunho: I love you (y/n)! I just came to the dorm to pick up some of my stuff. I’ll sleep at your place tonight ;)
Yunho: Oh, and I’ll cook dinner! Don’t do anything until I get there! See you soon babe xx
You smiled like a little kid and a bunch of butterflies battled each other inside you. “I love you, Yunho.”, you texted back.
You felt bad for him doing all this for you and wanted to give something back, so you headed to the kitchen to bake him his favourite dessert. You left the cake cooking in the oven and went to take a shower and clean your bedroom. When you got to your room you couldn’t believe your eyes. Your bed was neatly made with clean sheets, the bowl of old cereals was gone, your books were all organized as well as your desk. The clothes that were all scattered around the room before were also gone. It looked so clean and smelled like vanilla, your favourite scent. You were indeed really lucky.
You were about to call Yunho when you hear the front door open, he must have taken your keys. You ran to him and threw your arms around his neck kissing him like there was no tomorrow. He was caught of guard and stumbled back into the closed door, letting the bags in his hands fall onto the floor. You could feel him smile during the kiss and his hands wrapped around your waist pulling you even closer.
“I don’t deserve you Jeong Yunho.” You say as you pull back to look at the most beautiful man you’ve ever met. Both of you all smiles and giggles.
“Glad to know I have my girl back.”
It still amazes you how the simple presence of one person could make you feel this good, all your worries pushed aside for later.

Spider On The Wall | Peter Parker
Tumblr media
Request:  Hey :) could you write something about the reader having a major crush on Spiderman and being Peter's friend, but not being aware that he's spiderman, so she's like: fuck he can destroy me with that super strenght and Peter gets a boner cause damn he would love to destroy you as well? lol - Anon
A/N: It might not be great, but I hope you like it anyway. Feel free to send me some feedback, it’d be much appreciated. And don’t forget that requests are open xx
Warnings: It’s a lil smutty (handjob, blowjob)
The thing was, when Peter had became Spiderman, he spared no thought on how you would react to the webslinger in that moment. All he wanted was to fight crime, and get justice for the victims in Queens.
Perhaps he hadn’t thought about your reaction to the boy in red and blue because you had never been one to hype up the idea of superheroes. He could quote, once you had supposed, that you had ‘zero attraction’ to anyone from another planet or someone with superpowers.
And so he hadn’t suspected you to be spending your time ogling at an ass kicking vigilante, if you could even call him that. Falcon said that he spoke too much when they were fighting, but in all fairness, he still kicked his ass...
That was a few months ago now, that whole hero on hero fiasco. And to his luck, the secret of his identity was safe, from those that he fought against and his loved ones. Except Aunt May... and Ned... Okay, only you. But he was afraid that your boredom of anyone genetically exceptional would dictate the way you felt about him, or didn’t. And in all fairness, those two finding out his truth had been an accident.
Those seemed to be happening too much lately. The only thing to keep him preoccupied was the Stark internship, what wasn’t what it sounded like at all, it was a cover. Even today, when he had been shadowing Mr Stark, he broke a test tube when trying to explain how he makes the suit’s webbing, and then he got stuck in an elevator because FRIDAY was being reprogrammed, and she mistook him saying ‘stop’ as a message to her.
But actually, he was on a call with you, listening to you making fun of a song a lady of the street had played. It was about the Spiderman, being able to apparently do whatever a spider could do. So when he returned home, he had not been expecting to hear the music coming from his room, speaking about him.
He smirked as he opened the door, watching as you laid on his bed, eyes closed, rocking your socked feet to the tune. “I thought you said it was annoying.” He counteracted your earlier statement, making you jump at the sound of his voice.
Aunt May had went out for her weekly shop, so you had expected to have the place to yourself after she had let you in for an hour or so. But Peter was early, and clearly enjoying the redness that was growing on your face.
“It is!” You defended yourself, not wanting your friend to find out your little secret. “But admittedly it’s catchy, so...” You dragged out, hoping that would be enough to make him shove off and leave you alone.
When you realised that the song was still playing, you grabbed your phone, stopping it. “Did you download it?” He asked seriously, astounded by the fact. He saw that it was in your music app, so you must have.
“Well who knows, maybe it will get me to soften up to the idea of a hot guy swinging around the neighbourhood in blue leggings.”
“They aren’t leggings.” He whined, disregarding the other thing that you had said for a second, until, “you think he’s hot?” Peter couldn’t believe it, but if that was the case, then he was feeling jealous at the thought of himself. The only thing was, that you didn’t know that he was that guy.
“I’m optimistic.” You smiled, shrugging your shoulder, trying to not be too open with your opinion. If he knew that you had a thing for Spiderman, you would never hear the end of it. “And plus, everyone thinks he is.”
“They do?” He knew that all of your peers at school perceived him as some sort of god, at least practically, even Flash. But the fact that they found his ulterior attractive gave him some sort of silent confidence. The only problem was, that you seemed more interested in his disguise instead of the real him; your friend.
“Yeah, I mean fuck, he could totally destroy me with his super strength and I wouldn’t care if I was incapable of getting up in the morning. Or the morning after that, or... well, you get the picture.” Yes he did, and it was very vivid. His mouth was gaped open at your confession, and he tried to think of anything that would get his mind off the images that were blurring through his mind.
He couldn’t help it, he was a teenage boy. So he as he thought, he came to one conclusion that would change the topic, although not really. “But you’re a virgin!” He squeaked.
No that didn’t help. Right now, he felt like he knew too much about you. And just the idea made him sigh in frustration, and then he felt it. He had gone hard, and as he dreaded to look down, your eyes followed his gaze, clamping a hand over your mouth, covering your amused giggles.
“Don’t tell me that you have a thing for Spiderman too!” You laughed, making Peter shuffle and try to tug down his shirt, but to no avail did his efforts cover much.
“I don’t.” He wasn’t that vain. In respect you tried to look away, but you just couldn’t, it was practically right in front of you! And so you continued to laugh at the cost of his dignity, feeling bad for your friend at the same time.
“Then what gave you that?” You went to point at it, but you were too close. Your fingertip grazed the bulge in his jeans, making Peter’s eyes widen in shock as he let out a whimper. “Shit, sorry.”
His whole body had gone stiff at the contact, not just that one limb. He was frozen, clearly, and as you knew, had never had anyone touch him there, or really anywhere for that matter.
“Do you want me to leave, so you can, y’know, fix yourself up?” On instinct, you bit your lip, slightly nervous in this situation. As Peter had said, you were a virgin, this was all new territory to you too. “Or... do you want me to maybe, I don’t know... help?” At that thought, you shook your head, ashamed at your own offer. “Never mind, that’s stupid, why would I-”
“Would you?” He was sheepish, and with good reason. He didn’t want to cross a line, he knew that if you left right now, things would be awkward for a while, and then you would never get the real answer of why he had gotten a hard on.
His question had you struck with shock. Yes, when you said it you had been serious, but you had never expected him to actually agree with that condition. “You sure?”
You needed his consent if you were going to go ahead (no pun intended) and do anything to his body. This had to be what he wanted, because these first steps were things that you could ever retake, they weren’t like drafts in class.
“Yeah.” His composure had relaxed from how it had paused. At that he let out a deep breath, relieved that he had even managed to answer you with words. The nervousness that he was feeling, you could relate to.
The two of you were friends. Nothing more, as much as either of you unknowingly wanted to be. Sure, a couple years back you had kissed, but that was just to get the heat of the first kisses off of the both of your chests. And since then, you had never paired your lips with each other’s, let alone another’s.
At his answer, you stood, looking expectedly, dragging him by the sleeve to switch places with him. “Sit down.” You motioned at the edge of his bed with a nod, and he looked back at the portion of covered mattress, before he complied with your command.
You wanted him to be comfortable, you cared about him, a lot. Possibly more than a friend should. Clumsily, you shuffled onto your knees, feeling the carpet through the rips in the knees of your jeans.
You reached towards his belt, but the proximity that your hands were on made his hips buck up in the air. His body was eager, excited. But nevertheless, your fingers continued their route, grabbing onto the pleather and unbuckling it, until you had a free path towards his zipper.
Dragging the closing of metal down, and shimmying the rest of the fabric a little ways down his thighs, you were left with one layer. His boxers. It was dawning on you that this was all happening all so suddenly. Peter noticed the anxiety painting your face, and so he spoke up about it.
“Are you okay?” If you had changed your mind, that was okay. If this wasn’t the position that you were wanting to be put in, then you wouldn’t have to continue. Although you were the one about to do the dirty work, it was still half about you and your emotions.
“Yeah.” Nodding your head, you reached up and began toying with the blue plaid that was covering his nether region, running your fingers below the elastic band slightly. “Just settling into this, it’s new and everything.”
A small smile played at your face, and Peter reached down and began to play with your hair, but not with a sexual intention. He often noticed that when you were tired, or even scared about an oncoming exam, you would do so yourself. And his attempt at calming you worked, and as a result, you dragged the blocking material down, leaving his lower half exposed.
This was the first time that you had seen a penis in person, and at the sight alone your eyes widened. You guessed he was average size, perhaps he was more, but at the end of the day, you had nothing to compare it to. It wouldn’t matter whether it was or not, after all, genitals didn’t define a person.
But still, it was weighing on your mind as you reached forward and took a hold of it in your dominant hand. At your light grasp, Peter threw his head back, clenching his jaw. It felt so much different when it was somebody else’s hand, he realised.
You began moving your hand in soft jerking motions, leaning your head towards the action in interest until a thought appeared in your mind. Sure, hands worked, but so did your mouth, and so you brought the tip to your lips, engulfing it out of curiosity.
The feeling of having something so filling and warm in your mouth was strange. But it wasn’t bad, and so you suckled around the head, letting your eyes roam until they landed on Peter who had now began fisting his own hair and sheets.
“Fuck.” He breathed, with sweat collecting upon his face. It felt so good, possibly even too much. And then you attempted to take him a little further into your mouth, in the direction of the back of your cheek, and with that, he was plunged into pleasure. “I think I’m gonna -” He tried to warn you, but he cut himself off with a groan.
You hadn’t pulled away, instead you had rested your chin upon his thigh, taking everything that he had to give you. Swallowing, frowning at the unusual taste, you pulled him out of your mouth, extensively breathing, surprised with how you had handled the situation, and well, him.
His breathing was still pretty heavy too, but he gave himself a moment to laugh euphorically. “So... you like Spiderman?”
Wiping your mouth, you shook your head at his comment. Of course he had to bring that back up.

(look you don't have to like this, I'm not expecting anyone to, I just needed to write and if there's the possibility that even one person was hoping I'd write more and enjoys it then that's cool, just don't be a dick about it, it's more house mate au stuff, don't hope for continuity by that I mean it's just all over the place and nothing makes sense , just expect what ever came to my head at the time lol)
Walter was sat at his work table, fiddling with one of his new devices working on to perfect it, no I can't think of anything specific so I'll let you fill in that with your imagination.
The day had been long, his lab assistant Timothy Lawrence (Yea that Timothy if you know him because reasons) had been pretty quiet but done as told so at least that made it easier.
He was tired as the day had gone on his mood had sunk, what was he doing teasing Killian like that, honestly spanking him with the hair brush, he knew some of the things Killian had been up to.
But it was more likely a sign of marking territory or just because he had needs right and it was exciting to do things where you shouldn't.
The blade he was handling slipped and ran across the pad of his index finger, he hissed in pain, seeing the blood smear under the blue latex, pooling to drip, focusing on the red colour he hadn't even noticed Timothy running to fetch the first aid kit.
Pulling his gloves off he discarded them and popped open the box that had been set on the table.
"Thanks Timmy."
Walter smiled a little as he tended to his finger, he hated how the skin felt parting every time he flexed his finger.
Cleaning up and applying what was needed, thankful it wouldn't need stitches.
He wondered what Killian was up to, watching TV, reading maybe, did he eat, did he have enough to drink, was he in a depressive mood, was he mad that hed spanked him, he really should send a message.
Pulling his phone from his lab pocket he texted him.
'Hope you're day has been good, hope you're well, sorry if I upset you this morning.'
He shifted and rubbed a shoulder, he didn't realise how stiff his back had gone, being in charge of a division meant he'd somewhat lost track of self care making sure to do his stretches.
Timothy stood here watching his boss, lot better than the last one, this one was kind and genuine, always looking out for people, honestly Beckett made him feel safe and relaxed, he wasn't looking for anything serious but even he could see that furrowed bow and the lean that spelt hey I'm exhausted let me die.
Walking around and behind him he slowly massaged his shoulders, they were small and rather petite for someone Walter's age but it was more lean muscle and just body build, he just hadn't seen many men like Walter where he'd come from, he was rather pretty.
Walter had considered telling him to stop but when his fingers pressed into that one perfect spot in his shoulder blades he melted, ooooh that just felt so damn good and shit when was the last time he'd had contact, had someone be closer to him...he liked Killian...wondered if they could be more, but he didn't believe for one second that they could be lovers or bed fellows for one moment...not that he wouldn't be interested in finding out but Killian had been there a month, like he wasn't going to make him uncomfortable and feel like that the only way he could stay was if he dated him.
(I keep forgetting times or how many days set shrugs just don't expect like decent continuity, I write these because I need to just write things and moments)
Walter leaned forward arms folded and face buried in them
"Sorry sir, am I doing that badly?"
Timothy's enquired nervously, his hands going still.
"No, please don't stop, I literally didn't realise how stiff I was, you have good hands, I'm just so tired Timothy, I could really use it if you don't mind that is."
"Not at all sir."
Tim smiled happy to know he was helping, yes much nicer than his last boss, Walter was smart but he was also fragile, like him he loved his mother and when he'd heard Walters mother had died when he was small he wanted to scoop him up and just hug him.
A talk with Lance at one point and he'd learned that was a natural reaction for anyone with a heart around Walter who didn't have their head up their ass.
Which had practically been the last tech department Beckett had worked in, that totally wasn't cool that they'd done that to such a brilliant mind, it was so much fun working on items that didn't kill people and actually helped them!
Walter was imagining the fingers loosening the knots in his back were Killian, wondered what that would feel like with those pretty metal claws, but he never forgot it was Timothy, after all Timothy deserved more respect than that.
Looking over his shoulder at him, auburn hair flopping off to one side, Tim's hands on his waist he noticed the subtle blush.
"You wanna go grab some dinner or something in a minute there's a corner café I know, makes steak sandwiches and baked potatoes with a perfect crispy skin, a warm meal sounds pretty nice don't you think?"
Tim in the angle he was in was trying not to think about how suggestive this looked, he would absolutely lean down and kiss Walter if he thought it was an option, it really was a casual thing he felt, but Walter just looked so pretty and like he needed someone to carry him right now.
Continuing to rub his back Timothy nodded
"Yeah that sounds pretty nice actually."
---
At home Killian had found plenty to do, he'd read, watched tv, all in Walters bed of course, just to feel close to him as he could, he did wonder after handling himself, if Walter could see him as anything more than a friend, someone more than a few passing jokes between the other...turning his head and taking in his scent as he buried his face into a pillow again, looking forward to seeing those blue eyes...he should really get out of Walter's bed and get the covers washed.
Beckett brought comfort to his mind after his years of suffering, the sunrise after the storm.
He'd talked to Lovey, wondering if she could understand him, she was surprisingly responsive to his rambling as he worked on his arm, updating the tech and keeping up with maintenence.
Living here with Walter and slowly working past things with Lance and seeing he had genuinely started changes of his own, it made it easier with how Walter talked about him on the job, that he considered all options before violence and discussed the situations with him...it was good to know Beckett had helped Lance to.
He was glad to know Walter's field partner was a good one, though his lab partner, this Timothy Lawrence seemed to be pretty chummy didn't he, he'd seen a picture, thick brown hair, heterochromia eyes, blue and green to be exact and a chiseled jaw, in other words a damn pretty boy and he didn't want him around Walter.
He huffed folding his arms, yes he was jealous he was going to be pouty, before his injury he had thick black hair and had been known to be a very handsome man, now he looked like he'd been put through a grinder when he took off his holo mask and this Timothy Lawrence just had to be Walter's lab partner, he'd be around him alot and-
His phone buzzed, it'd been put on the side table and he read the text that'd come through and there was another one.
'Going out to dinner with Timothy, don't know what time I'll be back, have fun you probably need a break from me anyway lol 😂'
Killian's eye twitched, he nearly threw the damn phone, but how would he explain that, honestly he couldn't, Tristan sighed, shoulders drooping a little and answered his questions
'It's been a relaxing day, did work on the arm, Lovey' s surprisingly easy to talk to, watched a little television but perhaps you could suggest something to watch, it's rather hard deciding with all these options and no Walter you didn't upset me, though you left in a hurry, you do not need to avoid me. You're not a bother. Are you alright?'
'I'm so happy you're warming up to her! That's awesome! Also it's good you have time to relax, ten years of hectic stress you're more than overdue! I...well I was more embarrassed than anything, I reacted on instinct, last boyfriend liked that well that's probably more than you needed to know, but yeah I'll help you pick something to watch see you later!'
Last boyfriend? Spanking, Walter had, he had...Killian shifted well the blankets were starting to tent, the idea of being put over Walters petite lap and being told he was a very bad man came to mind.
He liked it.
A lot.
He looked at his phone as it pinged again.
'And god damn it, make sure you eat something for dinner, don't just go picking out the cupboard!'
Killian snickered and replied
'Yes Daddy, I'll make sure to eat something.'
After sending the text he realised what he'd written and wished he could take back that text, wincing as he managed to look at the response
'Behave, eat dinner or I'll put you over my knee young man.'
Killian stared and stared at that answer, he knew Walter was just teasing but, his cheeks were warm and he was...was he blushing.
----
"You all set to go Timothy?"
Walter smiled, his back was feeling a hundred times better after Timothy had dug into the knots, it wasn't a surprise that he was good with his hands, you had to have nimble ones to work with the tech they used here.
"Yeah, just coming boss!"
He pulled his satchel over his shoulder after pulling on his old brown leather jacket
"Please Timothy don't call me that, call me daddy."
Walter laughed at how silly that sounded
"I'm sorry, pfffft don't call me that god please, no, Walter's just fine."
Tim had paused a moment a slight fear he might have a streak like his last boss after all but that laugh was too warm and giggly and just shook his head with a smile
"Wouldn't dream of it Walter, you're more of a kitten anyway."
Timmy felt his insides tighten a little and there was that hint of Jack Dna surfacing.
"So shall we go?"
Beckett enquired looking up at him, huh he kinda looked like Killian, just a little.
"Ready when you are."
And with that they were off.
(Alright end of this ramble, Timothy has been thrown in because I needed the gasp drama of prolongation and shit and didn't have the energy to create an oc and honestly I'll mash anything from anywhere if it's convenient bleh)

This town seemed too perfect. Sure, you were on the poor side of the town, but the houses were well kept and everyone was happy and friendly. It was as far from home as you could get. You hated this. The boxes stacked up in the boot, and the bags piled up in the seats behind you. The fact that you were over two and half thousand miles away from home. The fact that this was a new beginning you were sure you didn’t need.
You watched as people loaded boats with shopping bags or crates of beer, and how they all seemed to be happy with their small roles in this small town. It was everything you hated and more.
You looked at your dad, in the seat next to you. He kept his eyes on the road, glancing down while he tried to find a radio station with decent music. He settled on reggae track by Bob Marley, and hummed along. You rolled your window down, smelling the salty air that blew in from the coast even as you wound your way further into the poor housing of this end of the island.
That was when you saw him.
He was on his bike, no helmet, his longish blonde hair waving around his face, and a baseball cap slung backwards over his head. You drove past, pushing your head out of the window to keep the view, and his eyes found yours in a way you couldn’t describe. You held his gaze until the car turned, pulling into a driveway. Your new house.
Your dad turned to you with a long sigh.
“I know you’re not happy about this.” he started, and you looked at his concerned face.
“I just don’t understand how moving almost three thousand miles will change anything.” you reasoned.
“Well, you know why. She’s not here, and you won’t have to deal with all of that shit that happened at school.”
“So we’re running away?”
“Y/N, just give this place a chance.”
You nodded. “Dad, how can we afford this?”
He looked at you defeatedly.
You continued, “I mean, with the divorce, and what she did, how could we afford the moving fees and the house? Cross-state moving fees are mad, let alone when you’re on an island too.”
“Hey,” he shook his head, “I’m the adult, I’ll worry about that.”
In your first week on the island, you made friends with a girl called Sarah. She was from Figure 8, but had explained the dynamics between the pogues and kooks to you, and invited you to a party. It was her boyfriend, Topper’s, but she explained that plenty of pogues and tourons would crash anyway.
You arrived without her, a pair of cycling shorts and a crop top thrown over your bikini in a minimal-effort kind of way. Your one stab at an effort was the blue and purple glitter dabbed over your cheek bone to recreate a highlighter effect. When you got there, you could immediately tell you were underdressed. Everyone else were in shirts and dresses, and your glitter was definitely too ‘city’ to be cool here, so you stuck out, obviously the only pogue there. You spent twenty minutes trying to find Sarah, picking up some vodka on your way around.
Eventually, after leaving a few texts, you sat down on the kitchen counter and nursed your vodka. You had no idea how long you sat there for, but at some point, Sarah’s brother stormed in. You recognised him from one of Sarah’s instagram posts, but you knew he’d never seen you in person. He looked high. And angry.
“Get out of the fucking kitchen!” he was yelling, and people began to filter out, but due to your obscured path, you couldn’t get out. He turned on you.
“Who the fuck are you?” he demanded, “‘Cause I don’t fucking know you!”
“Uh,” you mumbled, “I’m Y/N, I got invited by a friend.”
Where the fuck was Sarah?
“Well I don’t know any Y/Ns. And I don’t see any fucking friends!” He yelled, slurring and stumbling. “Does anybody know Y/N?”
You looked around the gathering crowd, trying to spot Sarah, hoping she would appear and get you out of this.
“I said, does anybody fucking know Y/N? What the fuck are you doing in this house?” He cornered you, and you were beginning to panic. How the fuck do I get out of this situation?
You didn’t even realise what you were doing, but you felt yourself grab a knife from the counter and thrust it towards him. He stumbled back and you stepped forwards.
“Don’t fucking yell at me!” you shouted, watching him lean back against the wall in fear. You didn’t even register doing it but you felt the blade slice your arm.
You stepped back, addressing the shocked audience. “By the way, I’m Y/N,” You looked around, finding those blue eyes you’d seen a week ago. “And I just moved here.”
You dropped the knife on the counter and pushed your way out of the house, pulling your phone out when you got to the pavement. You checked your messages with Sarah.
You: just got here, where r u?
You: girl, where u at?
You: sarah, i dont know anyone, where r u?
You: im going home, shit turned sour. Msg me later.
Putting your phone away, you looked around. You hardly knew where you were, and you were desperate to get home.
“That was quite a show.” You heard a voice behind you. Shit.
You turned, and saw your blonde haired boy. “Well I knew someone was gonna get hurt either way, so I chose to deescalate the situation, you know?”
He nodded, reaching for your arm, looking at the cut. “You need to get that looked at.”
“You offering?” you asked, pushing down a smile.
“Sure.” he shrugged. You looked at him. He looked at the ground, an uncharacteristic shyness taking him over, “Can I stay at yours?”
You watched him stare at the ground, and however much you wanted to ask, you chose not to. “Sure, we just gotta be extra quiet.”
He grinned, “‘Course.”
“Okay,” you sighed, “This is where I confess that I don’t actually know my way home.”
“We’ll work it out.” he grinned.
When you reached your house, learning that it was only a minute down the road from the blonde boy’s friend's house, you opened the door as quietly as possible, the pair of you pulling off your shoes and carrying them for extra quiet. You snuck up the stairs, trying to avoid the creaky stair boards, and pausing in terror every time there was a creak. By the time you’d made it to your room, the only other room upstairs being a bathroom, you both relaxed. You searched your moving boxes, finding your brother’s old sweat and tee for him, and going to the bathroom so that you could change into an oversized top and old gym shorts.
When you came back, a first aid kit in hand, the boy sat you down on the bed and began to address the cut.
You watched him work in silence. “What’s your name?” you whispered, and he glanced up at you, a smile on his lips.
“JJ.” he said simply, a small smirk adorning his lips as he finished dressing your arm.
You flopped down, so that you were lying on your back in the bed, and he looked at you with an odd sense of curiosity. “Lie down.” softly, you coaxed.
“Usually I get to know a girl before I get in her bed.” he joked, and the way you laughed made him want to freeze the moment in time.
“Why do I feel like that’s not true?” you snarked.
He gasped, putting his hand to his chest in feigned hurt, “Oh Y/N, I’ve known you for an hour and you’re already breaking my heart!”
“What can I say?” you bantered, “I’m just pure femme fatale.”
He crawled onto the bed, resting his head on the pillows above you. “Oh,” he replied, “I’m sure.”
You flipped onto your stomach, looking at him, relaxed, head on the pillows, gazing down at you. “At home, there weren’t any guys like you.”
He laughed, unsure of himself, “Love, there aren’t any other guys like me.”
You hummed, fiddling with the corner of your throw blanket, looking at him through your lashes, you giggled. “You’re so full of shit.”
He grabbed a pillow and threw it straight at your head. You picked it up, your face scrunched up from the impact, and he laughed. You sat up, crossing your legs, and threw it back at his face, only he caught, laughing, saying something about you having a bad throw. He put the pillow back, and you crawled back up the bed, lying on your back, your arms touching as you both stared at the ceiling.
You glanced at him, taking how his warm tan contrasted the blue light of the moon that shone through the large window above your bed. You took in the way his muscles gave him definition, and how the top stretched slightly over his chest, and how his long blonde hair splayed over the pillow, your own, waist-length hair tickling his arm as you lay there. You took in the curve of his nose and the tiny, mischievous smirk that never seemed to leave his face. You took in his long eyelashes and the blue of his eyes and the pink of his cheeks.
At some point, you drifted off.
When you woke up, you were tucked into him, your legs tangled in his, hair spread over his arm. His eyes were still closed, and you didn’t move from your spot, keeping your eyes on his face.
“You know,” he murmured, “If you take a picture, it’d last longer.”
Blushing, you pulled away. “I don’t know what you’re on about.” you sat up, feeling his fingers trace the curve of your back as you moved out of his reach. You left the bed, looking back to see him sit up, rubbing sleep out of his eyes, and you watched him take in the way your top fell over your frame. You searched your moving boxes again, looking for an outfit for the day. You really needed to move everything into the wardrobe. Eventually, you pulled out a bikini and shorts. You looked back at him, and he grinned at you.
You looked at him curiously, “What are you doing today, JJ?”
He thought for a second, electing against going home, but rather to go to John B’s for a day of weed and joking around. “Introducing you to my friends.” he shrugged, “The one who lives a minute down the road.”
You nodded, “What are we, in a relationship?” you joked, “Introducing me to your friends? Next thing I know I’ll be round for dinner.”
He felt dirty when you said that, shrinking into himself, hoping that you would never experience the shit that came with meeting his dad. You must have realised you’d hit a nerve, because you backtracked, saying you’d been stupid and whatever you’d said to upset him wasn’t intentional. When he looked back up, he saw how the tears of worry were building, and he immediately changed his demeanor, rushing forwards to hug you, assured you that it was all good.
You went to get changed, leaving him in your room.
He looked around. The corner was full of boxes yet to be unpacked, the open ones mainly clothes. There was a desk under the window, with some makeup, a book and a notebook thrown on top. The wardrobe doors were open, revealing that the few clothes that were in your wardrobe were very messily so, most either hung up or on the floor. There was a shelf above the hangers, with a shoebox pushed carefully to the side. He pulled it out, conscious that he was snooping. He pulled the lid off, and saw a set of pictures.
The first - you at a funfair when you were a little, a boy two years older (must be your brother) and a woman, almost identical to you, hugging you close. The second, you were older, perhaps twelve - you were wearing a Christmas onesie that matched the woman’s, your brother and dad laughing as you and the woman - your mother - danced around. The third - you were in a hospital gown, and your mother was crying, holding you close.
There were more, but he didn’t look. Under the photos, there was a tiny crocheted rabbit and a baby blanket with little elephants on it. He heard your bathroom door open, and rushed to put the lid on, putting the box back. You walked in, smiling at him as you checked your phone.
Dad missed calls (6)
Bro missed calls (3)
Sarah missed calls (11)
You sighed, checking Sarah’s messages.
Sarah: Sorry!! I heard what happened, i should hv been there. Meet up 2day?
You: Rain check? I met a guy last night and he wants to introduce me to his mates.
Sarah: U go girl!! Enjoy urself, msg me if u need me <3
You flicked off Sarah’s messages, glancing back at JJ, who was looking at your make up.
Mom: Darling, call me when you can.
The last text made you want to throw up, and you tossed your phone on the bed, drawing JJ’s attention back to you. “You okay?” he asks, and you nod, grabbing your purse and picking your phone back up, and getting ready to go.
“Okay, I’ll go down first, I’ll signal if there’s no one there so you can come down.” you ran down the stairs, checking the kitchen and living room, then giving JJ the all-clear. You left the house, letting him walk you to his friend’s place.
He took your hand, guiding your through the front door and into the house. You wrinkled your nose at the mess, food, clothes and empty cans littering the room. “This is a mess.” you muttered, stepping over an empty packet of sweets.
“His mom left when he was three and his dad’s missing, the lack of adults means… well, you can see what it means.”
You nodded, only just noticing a boy asleep on the sofa next to you. JJ leans over, sighing. “That’s Pope, I’ll go get John B and see if Kiara’s here.” he let go of your hand, walking down the hall, leaving you with the sleeping boy. You watched the boy shuffle and then open his eyes, jumping at the sight of a stranger standing over him.
“Who are you?” he asked, sitting up and staring at you.
“JJ’s friend.” you said, and he raised an eyebrow.
“You’re the girl who cut herself.” he said, recognition relaxing his features.
“My reputation precedes me.” you laugh, and he stands up.
“Food?” he offers, walking to the kitchen.
“Y’all have food here? It looks like you live off Swedish Fish and beer.”
He grins, “That’s the life.” he jokes, pulling a slice of moldy bread from its packet, and then throwing it straight in the bin. “That said, John B does need to get groceries more.”
“I do?” you heard a voice behind you. You turned, and were met with the sight of a tall brunette boy. He stares at you for a second, and rather than Pope’s blunt recollection, he grins, “You’re Y/N, right?” You nod, “You left quite the impression at Topper’s party.”
“What can I say?” you laughed.
JJ came back from the hallway, accompanied by a girl. “You must be Y/N!” she greets, smiling brightly, “I’m Kiara.”
“Well…” JJ pipes up, “Let's take the HMS out to the marsh and introduce Y/N to the OBX properly!”
“I’m down.” Kiara shrugged, “I don’t have any shifts today.”
“Sure,” agreed Pope.
“Leave in twenty?” John B offered.

Draco Malfoy Fanfic
one / two / three / four / six
Tumblr media
pairing: draco malfoy x reader genre: shifting realities, romance, clownshit plot: you were trying to shift for the lols but end up in harry potter world for reals with draco malfoy as your companion a/n: hope y’all like it, not edited <3
Your eyes narrowed as he walked into the small room with a cocky smirk on his face.
“What are you doing here?” You sneered at him with distaste.
Draco didn’t seem offended, instead, he found it rather amusing. He shrugged a shoulder nonchalantly as he walked around your room taking in the piles of paper scattered across the floor.
“I see you’ve been busy,” he rose his eyebrows with mocking impress at the mess.
When you didn’t reply, he looked away from the papers and over to you settled on the bed. You glared at him, feeling yourself get hotter as every second passed by.
“Don’t you have elsewhere to be?” You gritted, you couldn’t believe Malfoy would do this to you.
It had been a whole week since you had seen him. You were all alone in this stupid magic inn in the middle of nowhere.
You had been too terrified to go outside of the room or to even open the windows or curtains. You sat under the dim golden hue from the lanterns hanging above, day after day. Your eyes would stare at the door, half-frightened that someone will walk in, and the other half bleeding with the hope that Draco would waltz in any second.
But now that he was here, all you wanted to do was to kick him.
“Oh, come on,” Draco cooed looking pleased with your distressed state. “You miss me so terribly much, muggle?”
Your eyes burned with fury as you stared at him.
He had no idea what it was like being here for a whole entire week. Whatever magic the room had would make food and water appear, and clean the room, but leave the papers spread where you had left them.
When Draco brought you here after the game and told you to wait for him until he returned, you thought it’d be a few minutes, a few hours at most. But here he stood now, after a whole week in a black suit tailored perfectly to his lean body, his soft hair pushed back, and lips stained pink stark against his pale skin.
“You’re an asshole,” you finally spat at him, venom coating your tongue.
Draco didn’t recognise the threat or anger in your voice. Even if he did, he didn’t think much of it. He threw his head back letting out a chesty laugh, before smiling at you softly.
His piercing eyes softened a bit, and you felt tears threaten you.
There was no threat to your life, there was no danger. There was nothing. But you felt so weak, you were sure you would crumble as soon as Draco did the smallest action to check if you were okay.
But, Draco wasn’t known to be thoughtful. He looked away from you and slightly twisted in his spot.
“Care to explain what all this is?” He gestured to the endless lots of paper filled with your writing.
After that night at the camp, you had made a decision.
You hadn't wanted to hear the numbers of casualties from the other night. But without Draco, without any distraction, you couldn’t help but reach for the newspaper that appeared every morning. There were no casualties, no one died, a few injuries but nothing major.
As much as that relieved you, you knew this wasn’t the end. If anything this was the start.
This was the beginning of a painful and horrible journey, but you could help make it better.
You clicked your fingers and instantly the papers disappeared.
Draco lifted an eyebrow, amused, “Learn magic, did you muggle?”
Draco was letting go, letting you hide whatever you were planning on doing for a bit longer. You silently thanked him because you really didn’t have a solid plan, except for a definitive goal of avoiding all the death and unhappiness looming in the future.
“I know how to read manuals, Malfoy,” you rolled your eyes getting up from the bed. The layers of the blanket over you bunching at the bottom of the bed as you got up and walked towards the boy who stared at you intently.
“Where were you?” You asked, lifting your head to meet his stare. His piercing eyes studied you unblinkingly before he smiled gingerly, as he took a step back.
“Malfoy Mansion,” was all he said.
You let out a breathe, holding his eyes while you calmed down, as you gave him a bored smile.
“So what now?” You tsked, as you pulled your hair into a bun. “Are you going back after checking to see if I’m dead or not?”
Draco stared at you for a long moment, before snorting lightly.
“Actually,” he smiled, looking almost innocent. “I came to get you.”
You frowned, doubtful.
“It’s back to school season,” Draco’s grin widened. “Time to go back to Hogwarts.”
______________
“How much longer do I have to take in that sour face of yours?” Draco scoffed as he settled in front of you.
You decided to ignore him and look out the window instead. The platform was filled with young wizards and their parents buzzing around the train. You could easily tell the first years apart, if not by their young age, then their uneasiness was an easy tip-off.
“Merlin’s sake, muggle,” Draco sighed tiredly. “Are you going to act like this till eternity?”
You scowled at him now.
“Draco, you came back after a whole week. You literally disappeared.”
“But I came back,” he fussed. His face softened into one of a defeat for a second before darkening in a sneer. “You should be grateful that I even to came back. It would have been much easier to leave you there.”
“Why didn’t you then?” You bit back, making him roll his eyes.
“Your invisibility might actually prove to be useful for me,” Draco shrugged not looking at you, after a long minute.
You studied him for a moment, before snorting, “Stupid Malfoy.”
“Whatever, muggle.”
Draco pulled out a book reading it as you sat there watching the seats fill up. You read the title and frowned.
It was another book about consciousness and projection. You didn’t think much of it, Draco did end up being a master of alchemy after the war in the books. He obviously had an interest in certain areas of magic, and probably wanted to know all about this topic.
You didn’t realise you were staring at Draco until his icy eyes glanced up. His lips twisted into a smirk when he caught you, “Don’t get too curious, muggle.”
You snorted at him in reply.
“I think it would be better if you sat next to me,” Draco said, as his eyes drifted to the door. You followed his gaze to see Pansy and Blaise walk in, smiling as they spot him.
You stood at the end of the table just as Pansy and Blaise settled in front of Draco. They greeted him happily before Pansy shoved Blaise against the wall telling him to move over a bit.
Blaise retorted something and they fell into a jeering argument.
You stared at Draco and then at the empty seat on the other side of him. He rose his eyebrows at you, telling you to act.
You shuffled closer, studying the small distance between Draco and the edge of the table. Maybe you could risk climbing over the table?
But with a subtle pull of your jacket, Draco wordlessly ordered you to go past you him, hastily.
You gulped nervously as you placed a hand on the seat just above Draco’s shoulder, moving closer to him.
“So, Draco,” Pansy said, holding his attention. You silently thanked your stars for Pansy being a chatterbox as she began telling him about something that happened over the break.
Your hair slightly brushed Draco’s shoulder as you placed a knee on the seat to balance yourself.
Blaise and Pansy fell into another round of bickering, as you placed your other hand on the other side of Draco to stabilise yourself. Your hands landed on his shoulder instead of the seat behind him, but you didn’t move it.
Draco stared at you intently, you as you lifted knee and brought it over to the other side of him.
Your cheeks burned, as you gulped nervously.
You were straddling him right now. Your thighs burned as you held yourself up, trying not to sit on his lap. Your thighs grazing his lap ever so slightly.
Your stomach flipped, as your core tightened as lustful images flashed through your mind. It didn’t do anything to soothe the burning crimson brightening upon your face.
Draco’s piercing cold eyes stared into yours with an intensity you didn’t want to register. Your heart raced against your chest, as Draco’s scent invaded your mind.
He smelled so good; it reminded you of rain on a hot summer day and something else that you couldn’t put your finger on. Still, it was wonderfully dizzying.
You removed your hands from the seat behind him as you began shifting over to your seat.
Just as you removed your hand, the train jerked into movement. You fell forward, your hands landing on Draco’s chest. Your body straddling him, your thighs on his lap, your chest crushed into his. His warm minty breath softly falling your lips.
His hands, instinctively holding onto your waist to keep you from falling over, burned through your shirt.
Your body was on fire. Your mind burning with images of crashing your lips into his.
God, he was so absolutely gorgeous.
His blue eyes slowly drifted to your lips and you were a whisper away from exploding.
“What are you doing?” Blaise asked, pulling you out of your hazy state of mind. Draco instantly threw you to the side, a loud thud resounding as you landed painfully in your seat.
You groaned as you glanced up and glared at a wide-eyed Draco.
His hands remained in the same position as they were placed on your waist, searing your skin through the flimsy shirt.
“This big,” Draco muttered his eyes examined the distance between in his palms in fake interest. “This big... would be a... very large... pumpkin... do you reckon?”
You snorted at Draco who blinked back into reality, putting his hands away and sitting straight.
“No way!” Blaise shook his head, almost calling Draco an idiot. “There are pumpkins bigger than this entire cart!”
“Right,” Draco nodded, his eyes still dazed as he tried to reel himself back. “I was talking about the muggle world.”
“Nah man,” the other boy innocently shook his head, “In images, I saw pumpkins the side of this entire booth.”
“Oh,” was all Draco said, nodding in false wonder.
Your eyes darted to Pansy who started at Draco sceptically.
But before she could say anything, Blaise started again, “I didn’t get a single moment of peace this break.”
He sighed peering between his two friends. The other two gave up whatever chilly tension had settled between them and focused on a dejected Blaise instead.
“Merlin’s mercy, Hogwarts never gives us a break,” Blaise breathed, exhausted. “I spent the last seven days locked up in my room trying to finish charms assignment.”
You felt Draco’s eyes shift towards you. You glowered at him, in return, almost bearing your teeth at him in defence. The corners of his lips lifted into an amused smirk, as he turned to his two friends as they continued talking.
“At least Blaise knew he could go out whenever he wanted to,” you muttered under your breath, focusing on Draco. You placed your elbow on the table as you rested your head on your palm. “I was stuck there not able to go out, or knowing if there was an end.”
Draco’s jaws twitched, but he didn’t show any other sign of your existence.
“Prick,” you muttered as you turned to look out the window. Hogwarts Express was now sprinting through the plains towards the castle. You felt butterflies stir in your tummy as you nervously looked at the scene.
You didn’t realise when, but you had fallen asleep.
You woke up to an empty carriage, except for the annoyed boy glaring at you.
“Get up, you ugly oaf,” Draco hissed, making you sit up as you sleepily rubbed your eyes.
“Oh my,” you yawned stretching as you got up. “I haven’t seen able to sleep properly in so long.”
Draco looked away from you, as red splayed across his neck.
You blinked at him, confused. Before you could ask him what happened, he was already walking out of the ghastly empty train.
_____________
Your gaze bounced from one thing to another as you followed Draco through the empty halls of Hogwarts. You had luckily arrived after the welcoming ceremony had ended, and everyone had returned to their common rooms to socialise.
Your eyes couldn’t remain in one place for more than a second, taking in every little detail of Hogwarts. It was a beautiful work of art.
“Does Hogwarts not exist in the future?” Draco asked, studying you with an interest at your amazement.
Your feet halted for a second before you blinked back to your senses.
“Of course, it does,” you stammered, your cheeks burning. You didn’t look at Draco, focusing harder to look around the design on the walls.
You didn’t lie, technically.
Technically, Hogwarts did exist, just not in its physical form.
“Are muggles able to go inside?” He arched a perfect eyebrow. You gawked at him.
“No,” you whispered, looking down.
“Well, at least they have some common sense about leaving the dirty muggles out,” he sneered, and you felt your heart sink.
This is who Draco was, a muggle-hating person who believed in purebloods and purity.
You stared at Draco as he marched on in front of you. His hands tucked into his pockets arrogantly. He looked more confident and comfortable here then he did at home.
“So what happens in the welcoming ceremony?” You quickly asked, trying to change the topic.
“Nothing really,” Draco sighed, looking over his shoulder. “The Sorting Hat sorts the newcomers, and then Dumbledoor does the speech he does every single time.”
“Sounds fun,” you muttered, sarcastically.
“We didn’t miss much,” Draco answered as you stopped at the enterance of the Slytherin common room. “Emerald.”
You smiled at that, it wasn’t ‘pure-bood’ anymore.
You followed behind quietly, watching him as he walked through the maze of hallways of the dungeon. He stopped in front a door.
“The password is potty potter,” Draco told you over his shoulder.
You bit back a laugh at that. You couldn’t believe the password to Draco’s room was made solely to shit on Harry Potter.
“Come on,” he smirked, observing your humoured face.
You walked in and looked around in awe. It was much smaller than his room back at Malfoy Manor, and while the theme of dark green and black had carried over, this room was filled with warmth and memories.
You walked towards the wall filled with photos, posters and banners. His quidditch team photos, awards and academic achievements were there. But more than those were photos of places around Hogwarts. There were a few with people in them; mostly Blaise and Pansy. A few with Crabbe and Goyle, his mother,  but barely any of his father.
“Wow,” you whispered, before turning back to Draco. “I thought this would be an exact replica of your bedroom at the mansion.”
Draco shrugged, looking meek as he sat down at the edge of the bed.
You sat on the couch and Draco smiled, “At least you know where your bed is.”
“The couch?” You gaped at him, before pouting, “Can’t you magic one?”
“Snape will know,” he shrugged, looking smug.
“Risk it.”
“Risk you?” He quirked an eyebrow.
You shrugged, and he rolled his eyes.
“I can’t risk you,” Draco said making butterflies flutter in your tummy. But then his face twisted into a sneer as he continued, “You are my secret weapon.”
You huffed folding your arms, “Are you going to tell me your big plans?”
“Will you tell me yours in return?” He asked, knowingly.
“Jokes on you, I don’t have one,” you beamed, lying.
“Then what were all those papers?”
“I was trying to remember what happens next,” you told him honestly, at least in half-truth. “It did kind of work. I do have a better understanding of the timeline.”
Draco remained still for a long moment as he watched you.
“That night,” he finally said, his voice faint. “Those things that you saw before the fire started, were they from your memory?”
You nodded slowly, thinking of the scenes again. Draco blinked, his face hardening.
“How accurate are these memories?” He asked carefully.
Your brows furrowed as you stared at him in confusion, “What do you mean?”
“The fire, the flames, the Death Eaters,” Draco’s cold eyes stared into yours, not looking away. You felt your stomach sink at how serious he was being. “All of that was exactly as what took place.”
“Yeah, they were from my memories,” you answered, not sure what he was trying to do.
“Do you think they were accurate?”
“I don’t know, it is just my memory. I can't guarantee it a hundred per cent.”
Draco sat there for a long moment. His shoulders stiff, his mind lost in deep thought.
“I saw my father in them,” Draco spoke very deliberately, his jaw tightening. “Was that true?”
“I-” You stammered as your heart raced. You weren’t sure. “It’s just my memory, it could be wrong.”
“But you have seen him in a field of Death Eaters?” He asked, his voice cold, his eyes distant now. “It happens.”
Not a question, but you nod.
Draco sighed, his head hanging.
“Okay,” he said after a minute. “Go to sleep, muggle.”
He strolled towards the door, your eyes following him, “On the couch?”
He didn’t look back at you.
“Where are you going?” You asked, making him stop.
“Even though you are a filthy little muggle,” he spoke, his voice failing to lighten with humour. “But as a wizard, I do have some honour. A bed to sleep in does not make a difference.”
“I can sleep on the bed?” You jumped up, he turned to look at you now. “What about you?”
Draco never shared a room with you, even at the Manor. He would stay and do his own thing when you went to sleep. But when you would wake up in the middle of the night, he’d be missing.
“Don’t worry about me, muggle,” he spat, cold.
“Wait. Draco!” You called as his hand touched the handle. You didn’t want him to go. You had just gotten company again, you didn’t want to be alone again.
“Go to sleep.” Draco sighed heavily before slipping out.
______________
“Welcome back,” you greeted the blonde haired boy as he walked in with a basket in his hand.
When you quirked an eyebrow at the basket Draco let out a exhausted sigh putting it on the table in front of you.
“Eat up, muggle.” he ordered before collapsing onto the seat in front of you.
Before you opened the basket the delicious smell of breakfast wafted out making your tummy grumble. You pulled out a plate the food magically kept in place.
“Do you want me to take your plate out?” You asked him, carefully. You didn’t know if he’d eat food touched by a muggle.
“It doesn’t matter,” Draco’s cold eyes rested on you, his jaw locking as if the silent question offended him. You ignored him and pulled out his plate and placed it infront of him.
A moan escaped your lips as you bit into the food. You hadn’t realised how hungry you were, and how long it had been since you had your last meal. Everything feels like a haze here.
“You know, muggle,” Draco lifiting his gaze to meet yours as he dug into his food. “You are quiet high maintenance for a pet.”
“Pet?” You spat as you gawked at the gorgeous smirking man in front of you.
“What else could you possibly be considered?” Draco replied, in an exaggerated bored tone.
“Didn’t you call me your secret weapon yesterday?” You smirked at him.
Draco just ignored you.
“So where did you hide last night?” You pryed, making Draco roll his light eyes.
“A girl’s dorm, perhaps?” You teased when he didn’t reply for a long moment.
“I was in Blaise’s dorm,” Draco answered quickly, a hint of pink on his cheeks.
“And you plan to remain there forever?” You quirked an eyebrow at Draco who stared at you annoyed. “You can’t keep sleeping at other places when you have your own dorm, Draco.”
“I do as I please,” Draco answered, sharply.
“Sure, until people get suspicious.” You retorted, shaking your head at his stubborness. “Just get another bed, or we’ll take turns, or-”
“Oh I see what this is,” Draco snorted, cutting you off as he laughed lightly. “This is all a part of you plan to seduce me.”
“Excuse me?” You chocked.
Draco didn’t reply. He smirked at you in victory, making you groan in anger.
“It’s not going to work,” he cooed.
You decided to ignore him, and ate the rest of your breakfast sliently.
You placed the empty plate down before you peered up at Draco with a question burning the tip of your tongue.
“Speak,” Draco muttered, not even looking at you. “I can sense the curiosity raiding off you.”
“How did you know what I saw that night?” You asked him. Draco looked up, his sharp eyes peering into yours. “I never told you about them, so how?”
Draco sighed, before running a hand through his pushed back hair making it fall messily. “I read your mind.”
“What?”
“At first I thought it was because you were so pathetically easy to read, but then I began to suspect it to be something else. And that night just made it clear,” Draco explained, as you stared at him confused. “It almost feels as if you’re standing on the other side of a tunnel just shouting or sending images into my mind.”
“I,” you breathed lost, “have no idea what to say.”
“Well, there is nothing much to say,” Draco sighed exhausted. “I have spent the past week trying to figure it out, but much like your invisibility it makes absolutely no sense at all.”
You didn’t reply. Your mind in deep thought, processing everything as you picked up a grape and plopped into your mouth.
Draco got up straightening his coat, “A little suggestion though, muggle.”
You looked up to meet his sparkling eyes, waiting for him to continue.
“Nothing,” he said, happily holding back a grin with a smirk. “Don’t worry your pretty little muggle mind over this, pet.”
And then he walked out once again.

Hi! I saw that you're requests are open so i decided to write mine lol. How about the reader being jealous of Ada Wong because she thinks Leon still has feelings for her? And then Leon confesses to the reader and reassures her he only sees Ada as a friend(at best). Just some angst and fluff basically. Thank you!
There it is. I hope I won’t disappoint. ;-) It’s angst. It’s fluff. You’ve been warned.
Blue Is His Favourite Colour - Leon S. Kennedy x Reader
Sitting there in your blue dress, you were staring at the woman in red in front of you, scrutinizing her with - what you hoped - was an expressionless look as she was calmly drinking a cup of coffee, her legs crossed like Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct.   But the truth was, if looks could kill then the one you were giving right now would be the deadliest. You were not only looking daggers at her. No you were looking an entire arsenal right now (rocket launcher included), feeling an intense jealousy eating you up more and more with each second passing in her presence.     But that didn’t make Ada Wong drop her serene demeanour nor her over-confidence.
“That’s a good coffee.” You frowned at her sultry voice that was nothing else than her usual voice, you were sure of it. After all, that woman was oozing so much sexiness it was making you sick. “But I guess you didn’t pretend to be Leon to just chitchat with me around an espresso.”           “What’s going on between you and Leon?” She smiled and placed her cup on the coffee table before her, fixing her beautiful almond-shaped black eyes on you.     A scoff escaped her lips showing how amusing this situation was for her. But you wisely chose to ignore it. The woman in front of you was the kind that loved playing games. It didn’t take a genius to see it. It was part of her femme fatale persona. “You look way younger than I imagined. Guess that explains your insecurity.” You gritted your teeth at her commentary, probably because she was somewhat right. But the thing annoyed you the most was that she knew about you which meant Leon had talked to her about you. “And you look way older than what I imagined. Guess that explains the stripper dress.” You scornfully eyed at the short tight red dress she was wearing and that fitted her like a glove, not sure that this was appropriate for an afternoon coffee with a friend (which was the reason you had found to make her come here when you had texted her last week, pretending to be Leon). “That being said, you don’t answer my damn question.” “Ouch.” She grinned, not an ounce hurt by your words, before she eventually slouched a bit into the couch, knowing that you would not let her live your place without answers. You slightly glared. Even her lazy drooping posture was attractive. That was enraging. But despite your uncontrollable contempt for the woman, there was a part of you that couldn’t help but silently admit she was a very beautiful woman and that secretly wished you would look like that yourself. Even just a tiny bit. After all, you two couldn’t be more different.
Ada was the woman of all men’s dreams. Sexy, confident, mysterious. The type of girl that used to overshadow you in high school and definitely the type of woman that could outshine you even today. Who were you, wearing that baby blue dress, in front of that bombshell in a red dress? No wonder Leon had a thing for her. Cause he had, right?
“What do you want to know?” Ada asked. Finally, someone ready to talk and not treating you like a paranoid.             “The truth.” That was simple as that.       You were tired of Leon’s secrets. You were tired of him not telling you anything whatsoever about the mysterious Ada whose name was written on the silver compact powder you had accidently found in the drawer of his night stand one night when you were simply looking for a condom. But most of all, you were tired of fighting with him each time you were trying to put a conversation about her on the table.           “That might take a while. We have a lot of history. It goes back to Raccoon City.” You nodded, that sentence not coming as a surprise but tugging at your heartstrings nevertheless. Of course they had history. Had she been a one-night stand or just a simple ex-girlfriend, Leon would have never eluded all your questions about her. He would have talked about her as freely as he had talked about his previous girlfriends.     “But I strongly believe Leon would tell it better than I would. You should ask him.”
You were not stupid. You knew she wanted to hear you say it. You knew she wanted the ‘He doesn’t trust me and I don’t trust him’ speech, the crying and everything that went along with it and you were sure as hell not going to give her that satisfaction.           “Look, Y/N. You seem to be a sweet girl - a bit jealous and insecure sure, but sweet. I’m sure you’ll give Leon a flock of blue-eyed baby Kennedys playing in a garden with your golden retriever.”           “Seems like you played that scenario quite a few times in your head actually.” You spat. “I have yes. But I was never playing the role of the brood mare.” You fleered, not liking the comparison at all. But then again, Ada didn’t really exude mother material to you. “Let me guess. You were the homewrecker.”       Ada laughed, enjoying your sass a bit too much than she would have expected. “What I’m saying is that that scenario is what Leon secretly wishes. But that’s not what I wish. We’re different he and I and believe me when I say we both came to realise a long time ago that we would never work. I can’t give him what he wants. We can’t be endgame; despite the feelings we can have for each other … or had, since, judging by the feminine touch of this apartment, you must have definitely been living here for a while.”
Her long monologue barely comforted you. Actually your brain had stopped functioning at the ‘feelings we have for each other’ part. That bit had hurt like hell. Guess looking an entire arsenal at Ada Wong is useless when she has the right dagger to pierce your heart in her perfectly manicured hand.       “You’re wrong. He still has feelings for you. I can feel it in my bones.” You struggled to keep the nascent tears in your eyes, not wanting to look weak, or worse, childish.     “Y/N” Ada sighed and bent over to put a hand on your knee. Her voice was suddenly very compassionate. It surprised you. She was about to say something when the door of the apartment slammed open.
Leon barged in the living room, furious and - to your surprise - not even a bit astonished to see Ada sitting on the couch, meaning he knew that she would be here. “You can’t be serious!” He harrumphed, clearly mad at you and you couldn’t blame him. You had gone behind his back after all. “Alright. I believe it’s my cue. I’ll let you two discuss this among yourselves.” Ada stood up, took her coat and without saying another word headed towards the main door. “Thanks for calling, Ada.” Leon said as he glared at you. Of course she had told him. “Anytime.”
The door shut, leaving you and Leon in the heavy silence of your apartment. You didn’t dare to look at him, dreading to cross his eyes and most importantly fearing the inevitable argument. And right now, given the circumstances, you were certain that this one would make the walls tremble like never before. “Why would you do that, Y/N?” He sounded hurt. Was he trying to make you feel guilty? Because that was working but you didn’t need him to feel guilty right now. “Texting Ada, really? I thought you trusted me.” Those last words made you go through the roof.             “I thought you trusted me.” You repeated, probably louder than intended. “But at least you know how it feels now!”           “I know how what feels? My girlfriend spying on me?” He shouted, mimicking your tone. “That’s overstating things, don’t you think?” That was not the time for sass as Leon made it crystal just by the way he narrowed his eyes and slightly shook his head, showing how exasperated he was. “Then tell me what is it that you’ve done?”   “I went looking for the truth that you were refusing to give me. And guess what? That hurt like a bitch! Do you have any idea how I felt in front that woman?” He threw up his hands in annoyance. “You’re the one who invited her!”     “Yeah but it is your fault. I would have never asked her to come if you had been honest with me. At least, Ada told me what I wanted to know.”             “Oh, and what amazing thing did you learn?” He fixed his eyes on you with a ‘go on, give me your bullshit’ look that you found so irritable.         “Nothing very particular but the part about your ‘long history’ and your ‘feelings’ was more than enough to make me understand I was right all along and that YOU. WERE. LYING.” You pointed your finger at him to accentuate each word. But you weren’t done just yet. You needed to vent a little bit more. “She’s not ‘no one’ or ‘nothing that should concern me’! You have feelings for her.”         “ You got to be kidding me! How can you think that?”   “ Oh easy. A) we don’t keep a girl’s compact in a night stand if she means nothing.” Leon rolled his eyes, not believing you were mentioning that stupid compact again. “Here it goes again.”         “ And b) …” You weren’t even able to finish your sentence that Leon escaped the living room in the direction of your bedroom. He wasn’t leaving this fight? Right? Right?
“I’m not finished, Kennedy!” You yelled as you rushed to follow him. “Oh, but I am.” He growled as he opened the drawer of his nightstand. “I. am. fucking. done!” He said as he gritted his teeth, rummaging through the drawer. And suddenly he turned towards you and raised his hand. You covered your face by reflex and yelped when you saw Leon throw something with a brutality and a rage you had never thought he was capable of. Whatever is was, it smashed against the wall, far away from you with a loud clank. “There! Happy?” He asked with an angry voice before storming out of the room, slamming the door behind him so violently that you jumped.
You turned your head towards the object Leon had thrown against the wall to see what it was even if you had quite an idea. A tear rolled down your cheek when you saw the silver powder compact lying on the floor, completely shattered. You were not the kind of couple that would normally break things during quarrels.   You sat on the bed and took your face in your hands to cry your eyes out. This, all this Ada story had gone way too far. You had gone too far. You and your stupid jealousy. You and your insecurity.
You don’t know how long you sat there, thinking about all the things you had done and that had led your couple into this mess. But you knew that it was enough. You dried your tears and wiped the mascara that had run under your swollen reddened eyes before you eventually silently left the bedroom.     You found Leon sitting quietly in the living room, with a glass and a bottle of whisky in front of him that you stared at with guilt and sadness. Leon was only drinking when he was feeling terrible. And if he was drinking right now, then it was undeniably your fault. You went to sit by his side, putting your hand on the glass before Leon could take another mouthful of the amber-coloured liquor. “I’m sorry.” You said softly.         Leon put the drink back on the table and looked at you, his blue eyes mirroring the same sadness and pain that were in yours.     “ I just don’t get it, Y/N. Why this obsession with Ada?”           “ No, Leon. Please. I don’t wanna talk about her anymore.” You confessed, letting another tear run down your face. “Sweetheart, we have to. Cause this whole thing is killing us and I can’t bear that.” He cupped your face with his hand, wiping the tear with his calloused thumb, waiting for you to talk, to finally tell the truth.
“I’m afraid I’m not enough for you.” You admitted, glancing away from him. “ And when I found that stupid compact, I thought … I thought…” You didn’t know what you really thought. So many things actually. That Leon was having an affair or at least that he had feelings for another woman and that you were just a pastime, someone he would leave for her sooner or later.         “… that Ada still meant something for me.” He finished your sentence when he realised you wouldn’t. You met his eyes. If this was truth time then you needed to ask. “Does she?”   Leon sighed. But he was not annoyed at you this time. No he was annoyed at himself. “No. Not anymore. Look.” He took your hands in his. “I don’t know why I kept that silly compact. Truth is I didn’t even know it was still in my nightstand until you found it.” He had told you the same thing weeks ago. He had repeated it on and on actually but this time, contrary to the previous ones, you actually believed him. “She gave me that compact years ago, at a time when yeah, I had feelings for her. I’m not gonna lie. But here me out.” He cleared his throat to find the strength to talk to you and sat up straight on the couch.       “Ada was a part of me I will never be able to forget.” That sentence was painful. It made you sob but Leon continued. You needed to hear what he had to say. “I met her in Raccoon City. She saved my life back there and she kept on saving me many times ever since. But the thing with Ada was that my feelings for her were leading me nowhere. And whatever relationship we had, it was just some cat and mouse game meaning I was running after her and she was running away. And apart from some very occasional sex, nothing ever truly happened.” You grimaced. You could have lived without knowing that. “But I was okay with that … until I met you. And I realised that whatever I was feeling for Ada was nothing in comparison to what I was feeling for you. A love that consumes me, that gives me a purpose, that makes me keep fighting everyday and want come back home every night, that make want to make this fucked up a better place. I love you, Y/N. And I should have told you all this since the very beginning.” You sniffed, looking at the sincerity and the love in his gorgeous blue eyes. “ Why didn’t you?” You asked, genuinely curious.         “ Cause I’m stupid. Cause I thought that burying my past would be better for our couple.” That was indeed stupid. Had you known all this, it would have caused the both of you less pain “But I look nothing like Ada. How can you love me?” You asked.   “ You just said it. You’re nothing like her. You’re my everything.” He grabbed your chin and laid a soft kiss on your lips that made shed a tear because of the intense love you could feel in it. “And, didn’t I tell you that blue was my favourite colour?” He joked with a wink. Good, cause as you were gazing at his eyes, you couldn’t help but think blue was also your favourite colour.

As Hades stepped into the home of her brother she slipped off her coat and threw it over the back of the couch in the first living room.
“Where art thou my dear brother?” She called through the house and a sweet whistle sounded down the stairs and around her. She dressed and presented herself much more casual than when she met with Thor. She no longer adorned her business attire, dressed in black jeans and a loose t-shirt. Her boots hitting the marble as she climbed the stairs.
Loki’s house is extravagant. The outside something like a greek temple with its decorated ionic columns and statues. The inside much the same in its sense of power. But Loki likes to be comfortable.  His home has a, well, homely feel to it. Art adorns every wall, in every corner but the blanket is thrown lazily over the couch, there’s a pile of books on the coffee table and as she walks down the hallway she can smell the sea salt as if they were right next to the ocean. She can hear the horses in his backyard through the open windows. Hades always enjoyed coming to Loki’s home because thats what it was. A home. It wasn’t a place of work, apart from his office, his children come and go as they please, there’s always dishes to be washed and laundry to be folded. She felt welcomed here.
“Since when do you work this late?” She leaned on the doorframe of his office as Loki looked up from his piles of paper, his long black hair disheveled from running his fingers through it.
“I’m a very hard worker excuse you,” he smiled and offered her the seat in front of his desk, reaching into a draw next to him and bringing out two glasses and a bottle of nectar in a beautifully adorned glass bottle. Hades’ eyes lingered on the bottle as she ached for him to just hand the thing to her so she could pour it down her throat. Lord she needed a drink after this week.
“And I’m beloved by all,” her voice was sarcastic and she drooled as he handed her the glass and raised his eyebrows.
“By me especially,” he winked. Loki, forever the cheeky bastard.
“My biggest supporter,” she smiled and they clinked their glasses.
Loki looked back down at his work, his forehead crinkled and his lip pulled between his teeth, she had an inkling to rip out the paper from under him but knew better to disturb him while he thought. It could be important afterall.
So instead her eyes wandered, they moved to the ceiling tall bookcase to his right, spotting some of her favourites amongst his collection. She stood and walked towards the giant fish tank he had to his left and peered in, watching the exotic fish minding their business.
“Why can’t people be more like you,” she muttered under her breath and the red and blue fish with a tail that looked like it belonged to a feather dancer stared blankly back at her.
“They don’t like being stared at,” Loki chimed from his desk, his attention still on his papers. She sighed and fell back into the seat.
“Perhaps if you joined me for dinner and a drink or two I wouldn’t. Why are you working, work is off limits on our nights.” She was getting agitated, her entire week had been filled with work, forgetting about the normal stuff, the addition of the council and that damn god of spring was starting to give her a headache. “I’m sick of work! I just want a night off, please Loki.”
“Well I’m sick of you being treated poorly by assholes who think they’re better.” His voice was stern and she leaned back for a second in shock at it. Loki was not often passionate about things. Unless someone had spoken poorly against him or, in Odysseus’ case injured his son and was just a “lying good for nothing asshole!” Loki fought when it was his reputation on the line, but this, this was different, the last time Hades had seen Loki fight for someone other than himself was when he went by Poseidon and they fought side by side with Thor, then Zeus, against their father. Hades prayed a war would not come of this strife that was forming between the Olympians.
“Thor told me what you’re doing, why didn’t you come to me about this? I would have told y-“
“You would have told me to stop, that it’s for nothing but I’m sorry to say Hades, you’re wrong.”

Steve had his nose buried in his notebook while his mother went on about her campaign to “keep that wicked witch of the Underworld from getting her death grip on the council.” He sketched out the cornucopia from the gates, the flowers that had adorned it. The pages were covered in those sketches, one of her crown, how it was burned into his memory but he didn’t dare draw her face. Currently his pencil shaded a hand, with a vine twisted around it, the thorns piercing its skin and Steve couldn’t help but feel the prickle of the thorns in his own hand.
“Steve!” He jumped at the sound of his mother’s voice. The book slammed shut and he slid into his pocket as she dropped a clipboard into his hands. “Go around the council’s homes, get their signature. Thor needs proof that we will not stand for her to sit with us. We must band together in a time like this. I have no doubt the olympians will agree.” He dropped the clipboard onto the table and shook his head. She paid no attention to him, instead continuing her work as she wrote notes for the debate. “Sing your name too, we can’t forget about ourselves.”
He picked up the clipboard and walked out the door making his way out of the house towards Bucky’s home first.
Bucky’s house always confused Steve, the interior and furniture changed every couple millennia but the outside, the general idea of it was always the same and it was never extravagant. Most homes in Olympus didn’t change much, they just added things to keep up with the times. Bucky’s home was basically a shack. A cabin in the woods. A beach house with the lake view to match. Made of dark wood with a porch that stretched around the entire front of the house. Bucky’s home was one that matched its owner in its entirety. Bucky was a relaxed man, he took things as they came and he was never very serious. It was one of the reasons Steve enjoyed his company so much because when his mother was up his ass or his work was being exceptionally hard Bucky was there with a pat on the back and a drink in his hand inviting him to watch the sunset over the water.
They were best friends, could always count on one another no matter what, Steve knew that Bucky had his back always, and so he knew now that no matter how much Bucky disapproved of the situation he would still back Steve.
“You’re mother is going to kill you.” Bucky sat leaning on his knees on the couch, his beer long forgotten about on the coffee table as he held the clipboard in one hand shaking his head at Steve.
“Pretty sure she always kind of wants to kill me.”
“Never. You’re her special little boy, her one perfect creation,” Bucky cocked a smile at his friend who rolled his eyes back.
“Shut up,” Steve leaned back and sipped at his own beer, watching it spin in his hands. It was a solid plan, if he went to the right people it would work, he could go behind his mother and her campaign and plead Hades’ case. Maybe even talk to Loki, though he wasn’t sure if Loki would believe him. He wasn’t overly sure if anyone would believe him.
“You already know I’m on your side Steve. I know Hades, I remember the last time she sat on the council. She’s smart, she has the knowledge and the authority, she deserves to be there, but the younger gods, the once who have forgotten what she did, the ones that have never worked with her. They don’t know. They eat out of Demeter’s hands with all her bullshit about satan and how we ‘don’t need the dead in the business of the living’,” Bucky mocked Demeter, he was never afraid to do that in front of Steve, at first he felt slightly weird about it, like his mother would know if he ever spoke a bad word about her but he soon realised the Bucky was safe, he could be himself and say what he wanted without consequences, well, with little consequences.
Steve thought about what Bucky had said, he knew that Bucky would be on his side, Bucky had never not shown support for Hades herself, just, ya know, the stupid shit Steve did in Hades…
But something stayed with Steve. ‘the ones that have never worked with her’, had Bucky worked with Hades? When would Bucky have to work with her? Bucky worked with the sun, he worked with prophecies and medicine, none of which concerned the dead.
“Start with Becca, she and I are one of the same, Pallas-Nat, she’ll be on your side too, I know she’s already talked to Loki about it. That’s who you should go to after, to him, if he knows, if he has confirmation from Nat, I know they hate each other because of Athens and Odysseus but he trusts her word, he trusts that she’ll choose the winning side.” Bucky went on and on about who Steve should see, who he knew that would be on his side.
He listened intently, took note and made a plan of what he should say to each. To Becca, goddess of the hunt, the best way was to talk to her about Bucky, they always fought side by side. To Natasha, goddess of wisdom, it was going to be harder. But if Bucky was right then she already agreed with Steve, they just needed to join forces.
Tumblr media
Hades,
I don’t know when you’ll get this, I plan on giving it to Peter to pass on, I know I can trust him to get this to you safely. There’s five days before the council debates and I thought you would appreciate an update as to what is happening in Olympus.
I imagine you have your own ways, maybe spies, Loki has probably discussed matters with you also. He said he had told you he would fight whether you liked it or not, how you told him that he was stubborn. You said I was stubborn as well, I guess I am, but I can’t help fighting for what I believe in. I believe in you. I believe that you should have a say and so do many of the others, Loki, Becca, Natasha, and Jane all agree with me. I think we actually have a shot but Loki thinks it will take your appearance to convince Thor and the lesser gods and nymphs that will be present.
I hope to see you there, please.
Yours,
Steve

Hades and Sam sat side by side on the balcony that overlooked the gates. They watched as night engulfed them and there was an eery silence between the two. A fresh argument still sitting between them, two sides of the same fight.
Hades’ mind was fighting with itself, her guard was being torn down brick by brick as Loki and Steve tried to convince her to stand before the twelve Olympians. But Sam wasn’t a fan of the idea.
“What if it’s a trap,” he argued, “we don’t know what Demeter has up her sleeve,” he said, “we don’t need them!” He raised his voice and she let him get it all out.
“Are you finished yet?” She brushed her hand over her dress and looked at him as Sam nodded. “You’re right.”
Sam was shocked at what she said, he expected her to rationalise her reasons, he expected her to tell him to mind his own business, to tell him that she would stand up for the Underworld. But she didn’t.
“I’m what now?”
“You’re right Sam. Everything about this is stupid. The living and the dead shouldn’t be mixed, bad things happen, bad things like husbands wanting to resurrect their wives, like people thinking they can make deals in order to mess with what is natural. They don’t respect us or what we do here, you’re right, it could be a trap. Demeter will make it a living hell for myself and the rest of you here if she can. You’re right, we don’t need them, we run things differently here, our systems aren’t the same.”
“Then what…” Sam looked at Hades in awe, there was fire in her eyes and he knew that look, she was sick of being undermined, she was angry, she was determined and if he knew her as well as he thought he did he knew what that look meant. She had a plan. “Then why are you considering it?”
“Because they need us.”

"Ugh! I can't do it!" (Y/n) let out a groan and threw her arms up in the air. She couldn't bring herself to get them to meet. As much as she tried to will herself, she just couldn't muster up the courage in bringing them together.
Call her selfish but she was not ready to let Jaebeom go even if it was to her best friend. She simply couldn't.
That was where she started to plan everything to make sure they would never meet without her knowing. She was going to make them avoid each other at all costs.
»»————- ————-««
Haneul stepped out of her car and let out a silent groan. Work that day was absolutely terrible and she felt like all she needed was a long bubble bath with a glass of her favourite wine to unwind.
Stupid work, stupid coworkers, stupid intern that keeps losing the files and paperwork. This was the fourth time! Who hired that kid?! She thought as she made her way towards the lift, her black heels clicking against the marble floor as she did. She stepped into the lift and was relieved when she saw there was no one else inside.
Haneul let out a loud groan and crouched onto the ground as the lift went up. She ran her hand through her hair and messily tugged onto it as though she wanted to rip each follicle out of her scalp out of frustration.
The lift stopped at her floor and she grabbed her leather briefcase off of the floor as she made her way to her apartment.
"Oh, Haneul-ah!" A voice called from behind her. She turned around and her spirits lifted slightly when she saw the sweet elderly woman peeking her head out of the apartment.
"Hi, Mrs Kim. Good evening." Haneul bowed politely as she greeted her.
"You look like you just walked through a tornado. Are you okay?" The woman eyed the poor girl's messy hair.
"Oh… bad day at work." She chuckled awkwardly as she started to smooth down her hair.
"I made cookies and tea. Come inside." Mrs Kim sweetly invited as she pushed open her door. Haneul followed her into the apartment. It was smaller than Haneul and (Y/n) 's apartment but it was perfect for a lil' old lady who was living alone.
There was a familiar scent that filled Haneul's nostrils; cinnamon and baked goods. She sat herself at the kitchen island barstool and excitedly watched as Mrs Kim placed a plate of gingerbread cookies in front of her.
"My grandson and his wife were supposed to come over today, but they're stuck in Incheon. Eat as much as you'd like, they'll only be reaching here next week." She smiled as she placed a mug of chamomile tea in front of Haneul.
"Thank you, Mrs Kim." She hummed out as she took one of the cookies and bit into it, the flavour of ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg quickly coating her tongue. She let out a content hum as she chewed on the cookie, "Mrs Kim, these cookies are delicious."
"Thank you, dear. Now, tell me what's bothering you." She smiled as she sat beside Haneul and placed a motherly hand on her back.

Jaebeom stared at the ceiling as he laid on his bed, a smile never leaving his face as he replayed his day with (Y/n).
“Ah, I can’t believe I’ve met her.” He bit his lip as he spoke to himself. A meow came from his side and he turned to see Cake eyeing him curiously. “Cake-ah, I’m so happy!” He happily scooped the Munchkin into his arms as he stood up from his bed, scratching her belly as he danced around his room all the while trying not to drop his cat.
He never thought he would be so lucky in bumping into someone. He felt so much love for her, he was absolutely sure he would never leave her even if he met his soulmate. Hell, he didn’t even want to find his soulmate anymore. Even in his black and white world, (Y/n) was all the colour he needed to lighten up his spectrum.
Jaebeom placed Cake onto his lap when he sat at his desk chair and looked at the sticky notes that decorated his wall.
Jaebeom-ah~ don’t work too hard and make sure you take care of yourself well <3
He smiled to himself like a child who had just gotten candy. He pulled the note off of the wall and brought it closer. He loved her handwriting. He loved everything about her. He was so in love with her, he felt like his heart would’ve burst even though he had only known her for a few months.
He stuck the sticky note back onto the wall and leaned back in his chair.
“Cake, should I write another song for her?” He questioned the small bundle of fluff that sat on his lap. Cake turned up to him and let out a meow in response. “I’ll take that as a yes.” He chuckled as he turned on his keyboard and his computer.
There was a tune that popped into Jaebeom’s head the moment he saw her earlier that morning. He saw her running towards him, snowflakes falling past her as she did. She looked so happy to see him that he felt like he was going to explode from how cute she looked.
“Ah, she makes me so happy and she doesn’t even know it.” He hummed out as he pressed a few keys on his keyboard. Cake let out a happy meow when he did. “Does it sound nice?” He questioned as he turned down to look at her. She let out another meow and he laughed, “I’ll take that as a yes.”

"Thank you so much for the cookies, Mrs Kim." Haneul bowed as she stood in the hallway.
"No problem, dear. I should be thanking you for getting those cookies off of my hands." Mrs Kim smiled warmly as she waved at her, "Take care, Haneul-ah!" Haneul waved back as she closed the door and turned around to head back to her apartment.
She stopped in front of her apartment and pulled her keys out of her purse when she heard Jaebeom’s door open, causing her to turn around and freeze. Her keys fell out of her hand as she stared at Jaebeom’s figure, his entire body showing colour amidst the black and white hallway.
“Holy shit.” She breathed out as they both stared at each other with wide eyes. Jaebeom dropped the garbage bag in his hand and it fell to the ground with a slight thud. He took a step towards her,
“It can’t be you.” He muttered out incredulously as he stopped right in front of her, “You’re (Y/n)’s flatmate. It would break her.” He pointed out, he felt hesitant to believe that his soulmate had actually been living across from his apartment for the past few months. Not to mention, his soulmate was his current girlfriend’s flatmate.
“It really would.” Haneul sucked in a breath through her teeth as she grimaced. They both turned to the ground as they further thought about it. Neither of them had the heart to break (Y/n). Hell, if (Y/n) was sad, Haneul would feel as though it was her fault for getting her to forget about Jaebeom’s string and forget about the possibility of Jaebeom meeting his soulmate.
But that was when she noticed something. “Jaebeom-ssi.” Her voice made Jaebeom turn up to look at her. “Touch my hand. I need to check something.” She extended her hand in front of him.
Jaebeom stared at her hand then back at her. He reached his hand out hesitantly and took hold of hers. He gasped when he saw the white walls melt into an ivory colour, the lights hanging off of the wall starting to glow yellow.
“Holy shit.” He retracted his hand as he turned around to scan his surroundings, watching as the colour started to chase away the black and white. “Oh my god.” He breathed out.
“I know right.” Haneul breathed out as well, making a full turn as she watched the colour melt into her world as well. “Is this colour?” She questioned as she turned back to Jaebeom with a glint in her brown eyes.
“I think it is.” He nodded. “And I don’t think I’m in love with you.” He pointed out, slightly confused at the feeling in his heart. He didn’t want to hold her, he didn’t want to kiss her, he didn’t want to marry her. He just wanted to know her.
“Just to be sure.” She spoke before leaning up and pressing her lips to his. No, this felt wrong. Jaebeom quickly pushed her off,
“Dude!” He exclaimed as he took a step back, “What was that? I’m dating your flatmate!” He pointed out as he stared at her in disbelief. Haneul furrowed her brows before staring at the ground with her finger on her lip as she thought about it.
“I think we’re friend soulmates, Jaebeom-ssi.” She spoke out with her eyes still to the ground as the pieces started to fit together in her mind. “I don’t think we’re meant to fall in love. I think we’re meant to be companions.” She turned up to him with a wide smile on her face when she also realised what that meant. (Y/n) wouldn’t have to break up with him.
“This means I can continue to date (Y/n).” Jaebeom let out a breath of relief. He didn’t have to leave her. He could keep being with her for as long as he wanted. “Should we tell her?” He questioned but Haneul quickly shook her head,
“She’s going to get the wrong idea. I’m worried she’ll start to feel insecure.” Haneul muttered out.
“What if we just don’t tell her we met.” Jaebeom suggests, “We just don’t let her know that we can see colour and we try avoiding mentioning it.”
“That sounds impossible, but for her sake, let’s try it.” Haneul nodded and with that, they did their best to hide their meeting. Jaebeom went back into his apartment, wishing Haneul a goodnight as she walked into her own apartment.
Haneul thought it would work. Even though she knew that (Y/n) could see the strings, she didn’t know that the strings would change their colour depending on the situation.
(Y/n) saw the string the moment she stepped out of her bedroom. She froze at the doorway of her bedroom and stared at Haneul. Her string was blue.
"Mrs Kim invited me in for cookies. Sorry I came back a bit late." Haneul mentioned as she placed a tupperware onto the counter, "She insisted I bring some back for you to eat." She turned around and stopped moving when she took notice of (Y/n) staring at her.
"You met Jaebeom already?" She questioned softly. Haneul felt her entire body tense up and muttered out a 'shit' before she gestured to the barstool. (Y/n) moved towards the kitchen and sat herself onto the chair, preparing her heart for the heartbreak.
"I bumped into Jaebeom in the hallway and…" Haneul trailed off. It sounded weird in her head as she tried to form the sentences before actually speaking them. "I don't think we're supposed to be in love."
"Wait, what?" (Y/n) stared at her in confusion.
"We saw each other, I held his hand but I don't feel love for him. Well, maybe it is love, but maybe it's a different kind of love." Haneul explained.
"So… You're not in love with each other?" She questioned slowly.
"Nope." She shook her head.
"Are you sure?"
"Yep."
"One hundred percent sure?" (Y/n) asked, still hesitant to believe that she was still able to be with Jaebeom.
"I kissed him too. He immediately pushed me off of him." Haneul nodded.
"You kissed him?" (Y/n)'s eyes widened and she shot up from her chair.
"Just to check!" Haneul immediately lifted her arms up in front of her defensively, "It felt wrong. I didn't feel any explosions, or love, or anything like that. It actually felt wrong."
"And Jaebeom didn't feel anything either?" She questioned.
"Well, he pushed me off immediately and called me 'dude', so I guess no." Haneul flashed a smile at her. "(Y/n), you can keep dating him. I think we’re meant to be friends. When I held his hand, I didn’t feel like I wanted to kiss him or hug him, I just wanted to be friends with him.” She shrugged as she opened the tupperware and handed a cookie to her flatmate, “Our souls are connected, but I guess we’re just not connected by love.” She shrugged once again.
(Y/n) took a moment as she processed everything while nibbling on the cookie Haneul had handed her.
“So, you seriously don’t love him?” She questioned once again.
“I’m serious. You could probably go ask him right now.” She gestured to the front door. “When we found out, we didn’t want to tell you because I was worried you might feel insecure or scared. I guess there’s really no hiding soulmate things around you.” She chuckled as she pulled out a cookie for herself.
“Your string changed colour.” (Y/n) pointed out. “When you haven’t met your soulmate yet, it’s red, if your soulmate’s dead, it’s black and after you meet your soulmate, it’s blue. Your string,” She pointed to Haneul’s chest, “Is blue now.”
“Yeah, see? You never told me that.” Haneul remarked. “So, your string’s black?” She asked as she looked at (Y/n)’s chest.
“Yeah, and it’s ripped off about here,” She put her hand at her abdomen. “I can’t touch it. It’s just there. I remember the most painful thing when my soulmate died was watching how the string looked like it was trying to pull itself out of my chest until it just tore.” She hummed out as she recalled the excruciating memory.
“Maybe that’s why it hurts so much.” Haneul pointed out softly.
“Maybe. Strings are usually floating freely like they’re in water. Mine was pulled so tight, it looked like I probably could’ve played it like a violin.” (Y/n) joked. Haneul chuckled at that.
“You know, I never wanted Jaebeom to be my soulmate. I’m glad that we’re friend soulmates instead.” She gave (Y/n) a soft smile.
“I’m glad too. What would I have done if you two fell in love?” She punched Haneul’s arm.
“Ow!” She exclaimed with a scowl on her face.
“You were the one who told me to fall in love and I didn’t even realise his string kept leading into our apartment.” She grumbled.
“That’s… on you. How could you have not noticed it in the first place?” Haneul retorted as she rubbed her arm.
“You weren’t even here for the first four months, and every time I was at Jaebeom’s apartment, you were at work.” (Y/n) argued. “I only saw the string because you came home early last week. I tried to keep you two away from each other because I was scared he’d leave. I’m sorry.” She whispered out the confession, her voice small at the end of her sentence.
Haneul looked at her in surprise but she mostly felt a sense of sadness. She had known (Y/n) for years. She knew how much she’d have to go through. She had seen what she had to go through. The idea that she would be the reason (Y/n) would have to go through it all over again, well, it made her sad.
“I don’t blame you.” Haneul placed a comforting hand onto (Y/n)’s arm, “I would’ve done the same if I were you.” She smiled. “I’m more sorry that I encouraged you like that. I never want you to be sad.”
“That’s sweet. Thanks, eonnie.” She smiled and pulled her into a hug.
“Oh, you should go and tell Jaebeom-ssi you know that we’re soulmates.” Haneul mentioned as she pulled away. “I think he was a bit concerned that you might be sad.”
“Okay, I’ll go. Don’t trash the apartment or eat all the cookies.” (Y/n) jokingly warned as she left her apartment.
»»————- ————-««
“I’m so happy for you!” Haneul squealed as she bounced on her feet. “Oh my god, can I plan the wedding? Am I a bridesmaid?” She gasped. “Am I the maid of honour?!” She asked as she looked at (Y/n) and Jaebeom, his arm wrapped around (Y/n)’s shoulders.
“Yes, you can help plan the wedding. No, you’re not a bridesmaid. Yes, I’m asking you to be the maid of honour.” (Y/n) giggled as she answered all of her questions.
“Can I be the best man too? Oh my god! My best friends are getting married!” Haneul let out another excited squeal as she hugged the two.
Being Jaebeom’s friend soulmate meant that they got along really well. They ended up connecting to the point where sometimes it seemed as though she and Jaebeom shared one brain cell because Haneul was always encouraging Jaebeom to do really dumb shit and he tend to listen to her. This had left poor (Y/n) to pick them up in the middle of the night once when Haneul had convinced Jaebeom that breaking into her old high school while they were drunk was a good idea.
“You can’t be the best man because you’re the maid of honour. You can’t do both.” Jaebeom shook his head with a chuckle leaving his lips. “But, you can help Mark make sure the groomsmen don’t do anything stupid during the wedding.” He smiled.
“I’ll take it.” She nodded. “Have you guys chosen a date yet? Can I help choose a date? My mum’s one of those really superstitious mums so she knows all the good dates for weddings, baby making and all that jazz.” She laughed.
“I’m sorry Haneul eonnie, but Jaebeom and I have already thought of a date. We’re going to do it on the same date that we met. It’ll be in a few months, so you have to get busy.” (Y/n) let out another giggle.
“Oh, I know the perfect place to get your dress, and I know exactly who we should call for the decorating.” Haneul clapped her hands excitedly, “Jaebeom, I’ll text you a number to a tailor for your suit. This is going to be the best wedding ever!”

Final chapter. Fluffy smut. That's it, folks! Thanks for being here! Lol Xx
Summary: Sansa and Jon move forward with a step that would change their lives forever. Jon's especially. But he is more than willing, and ready. Now that Sansa had made her feelings known. Rated E.
Chapters 1 to 9
Otherwise, Engaged
I'm so sore,” Sansa whined, splashing water at Jon.
“Aww..I'm sorry baby. Don't hate me but..you were asking for it.” Jon smirked, wiping away the droplets with a washcloth.
“Hmm.. I did, didn't I?” Sansa recounted how she screamed for Jon to pound harder with each stroke he gave her.
Jon leaned forward and gave Sansa a deep kiss. One of many he had given her the night before. He regretted the bites however, now seeing the small dark marks turning up on Sansa's unblemished skin.
“Do you want some more warm water? Maybe it helps?”
Sansa shook her head and looked at the clock on the wall. She couldn't help but chuckle, it was already eleven and they had missed breakfast. No one had called for them, except for a text message that dinged, from Lisa to “keep it down in there” at two in the morning. Obviously, now everyone knew why they didn't turn up for breakfast. Sansa didn't think she could look them in the eye either, so just as well.
Her body ached a bit but nothing compared to the tenderness between her thighs. Maybe it was three years of unresolved, pent up attraction between them or just Jon having superhuman stamina, he had really given to her good. Too good, that Sansa couldn't remember much except screaming his name every half an hour. Just like her, the bed had been given a good pounding too, what with Jon driving her down the mattress and if the noises were any indication, it was probably time for a new frame.
They had only slept a few hours but empty stomachs after the sex marathon drove them out of bed. Thank god for texting.
Lisa, I'm sorry to ask but could you bring some breakfast up for Jon and I? We're really hungry but too tired.
Yeah and I know why. Goodness, what's gotten into you two? Thank god your parents and brothers are on the other side of this very large house. Lucky!
Hehe. I.. have nothing to say to that. You're the best, Lisa! Thanks!
LOL.. I'll put it outside your door. But you can't hide in the room forever. You said yes to a wedding remember?? You need a dress!
“Lisa's bringing the breakfast up. And Gramp's birthday party is this afternoon.” Sansa reminded as she got up to leave the bath.
“And..? You're forgetting something. Our wedding.”
“Damn it, you weren't supposed to remember that,” Sansa groaned, reaching for a towel and wrapping herself with it.
Jon smiled to himself, admiring the view before him as Sansa started her morning beauty routine. “It was unexpected, I'll give you that. But hey, what have we got to lose? We're already engaged.”
Sansa snorted, narrowing her eyes at Jon. “Yeah, a lot of 'unexpected' things popped up last night. I guess.. since we've already.. come this far. Imagine meeting the officer next week, huh?”
Jon winced. He almost forgot about the visa bit. But, he didn't need to pretend anymore. That was one thing off the list.
“We'll sort it out next week then.” It was time to get out the bath and check on his emails. He had been busy playing newlyweds that work hadn't cross his mind.
“Hey, Jon,” Sansa looked at him from the mirror. Jon responded with his arms wrapped around her from behind. “You do know, we have to talk.. about work? How this.. is going to change all that.”
Jon rested his chin on her shoulder and deliberated for a moment. He'd hate to lose her as an assistant but 'wife' was a much better gain. He had promised her Aliser's job once this was all over and maybe it would be frowned upon, but a deal's a deal. He would try at least. The plan was supposed to be easy. Go in, act a little and get out. He didn't count for things to turn out the way they did. Still, he couldn't imagine it any different. This was so much better. Whatever comes, Jon had Sansa, and, that was everything. He thought he had it all, but how foolish he was in thinking that. He'd give her everything, whatever she wanted.
“We will. But for now, we need to get out of this room. And air it… god, it smells of sex.” Jon gave a giggling Sansa a hard peck on the cheek as they both got ready for the day.
It was nice, having breakfast by the fireplace, with Sansa lounging on him reading a manuscript and him, with his arm around her and trying to read work emails. Admittedly, it was hard, his cock especially, seeing how amazing she looked in his arms. This scenario would look good at his house as well. Also, the office with no one around.
The Starks had left them both alone, thanks to Lisa who told everyone they needed to prep for the wedding, when actually it was really Sansa who needed time to recuperate a little. Lisa understood perfectly, after what Jon presumed was a short girl talk by the door when their breakfast tray was dropped off.
“So, I have to try on a wedding dress in a bit so you can't see me in it. And I think Dad will take you out for a fitting as well, I think.”
“Sounds like fun. Though I don't like the not seeing you bit.” Jon shifted his arm nearer to the waistband of her shorts.
Sansa peeked from the booklet, seeing what Jon's wayward hand was up to. She had to admit, how Jon expressing his insatiable need for her turned her on just as much as him touching her.
“Well, it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride and all that.”
“What time are you meeting Lisa then?” Jon whispered, stealing a glance at his watch and adjusting his growing cock at the same time.
“After lunch. Two, I think. Why?”
Jon pushed away his laptop and grabbed Sansa's waist. There was no time to lose. Sansa gave a playful shriek as she came face to face with him.
“That means.. we have time.. to do this.” Jon pressed his lips onto Sansa's neck as his hands frantically undid the buttons of her denim shorts. Sansa sighed as she reciprocated, her hands unbuttoning his Levi's and squealed when she realised he wasn't wearing any underwear. The soft, rock hard flesh spilled out into her waiting hands.
“Ohh.. I do love it when you do that,” Jon groaned as Sansa gave his cock a firm squeeze. She was full from her share of scrambled eggs and toast, but she'd never refuse Jon's cock in her mouth at anytime.
Jon let out a soft moan as Sansa's lips pecked at his erection. The warmth of her mouth as Sansa swallowed him whole - was enough to render him unconscious.
“I have created a monster,” Jon hissed, his lips curling into a smile, gazing at how deftly Sansa moved her tongue around his girth. Jon threw his head back, shuddering from pleasure.
I'm a lucky bastard, Jon kept repeating in his head, reaching round to grab her round bottom. Peeling off her already moist underwear, Jon slid a finger into her wet and waiting cunt. As always, primed and ready for the taking. Sansa hummed her approval and the vibration on his cock was enough to do the job. He had to have her.
“Go slow this time.. Jon, please,” Sansa pleaded playfully as Jon crawled onto his knees and had his fiancée spread eagled before him. Jon did notice a slightly angrier shade of pink greeting him, more so than before but the glistening folds were just as welcoming.
“As my Lady commands,” Jon obliged as his mouth clamped down on her folds. Sansa groaned at the contact, sucking in a breath. She loved his mouth and the talent he had with it. He could do this all day every day, screw the wedding. How she was still up for another round was a question she hoped she didn't have an answer for.
Another finger slid in and Jon wiggled his thumb on her clit. Sansa bit down so hard on her lip she could almost taste her own blood.
“Gods... You are beautiful,” Jon cooed, watching Sansa thrash and quiver, releasing herself to the blissful wave. Skin flushed pink and plump, her hooded beautiful blue eyes and her naked body clothed with mind blowing eroticism - Sansa was a painting. He didn't mind watching her like this all the time. In his apartment, at her place.. in his office. His couch was big enough. It had more space than the one they were on.
“Come fuck me then,” Sansa whimpered, pulling him to her, trembling as Jon's cock took over.
“Oh..wow.”
Sansa's heat was electrifying. Jon took great care as he made his way in, tingling all over as the view proved enough to send him over the edge again. Mesmerised by her folds that clung onto him and Sansa's breathy whimpers - a heady combination that inched him closer and closer to releasing himself in her again. Sansa's ragged breathing and the growing tightness around his length had him barely holding on, as they both inched closer to the edge. Jon grabbed at Sansa's sides, from under her, her legs grazing his cheeks as he pushed on, knowing he'd reach the edge sooner than he wished.
“Fuck gentle.. I want you,” Sansa seized the top of his thighs and shoved him further inside. He howled, as his swollen tip pressed against a hot wall, and the slightest friction was all it took.
This time, it was silent, save for a breath or two. A great height they both had soared to, where no howl or scream could match.
It was magnificent. How he melted into Sansa, emptying every bit of himself in her, in that moment right into the deepest parts of her, where all of time had stopped - and everything was perfect, just as it should be. It was a moment that marked Jon for life.
Panting and gasping for air, he laid down on her feverish body, her breaths matching his own. Perfection. Absolute perfection.
“I.. love you too.” Sansa finally answered back, as she kissed the top of his head, her hands tenderly brushing his sweaty curls away. He didn't need her to say it back, he didn't think she even heard him say those words - oh, but how they made his heart leap in unspeakable joy.
Jon looked up at Sansa as he rested his chin on her chest. This is it. The thing that people try to write about but never quite succeeded. Or perhaps, he never really understood. Till now. With her, he could conquer anything. A master of his own universe, with her by his side. They could conquer anything, whatever life brings.
The One. She is.
“Well.. Let's get married then.”

The End.
