aki hayakawa headcanons

a/n inspired by the people i was talking to in that discord server.... i think they follow me so hey ;)

- prefers keeping his hair down when at home, he likes the way it sways and brushes his shoulders whenever he moves

- speaking of his hair he loves brushing through it with his hands. he does it unconsciously while watching tv

- really loves reading (when he doesn't have to put up with his roommates) and his books are his most prized possessions

- his favorite animals are otters

- finds chores therapeutic. you can often find him hanging the laundry to dry, or watering the plants on the balcony

- night walks are another one of his ways to relax a little and get away from the chaos of the house

- Mint Ice Cream Enjoyer. that's it

- power painted his nails once and he secretly loved it. he hesitantly asked her to do it again after it had chipped off, and she gleefully complied

- one time he tried baking, failed miserably and swore to never try again

- likes to just turn on the radio and listen to it, doesn't matter what's playing he'll sit and listen for hours

- mf has like twenty different allergies... lactose intolerance, nuts, cat hair, you name it (he puts up with meowy because. power)

- does that stop him from bending down to pet every stray cat he sees on the street? no

- when his hair gets long enough, he puts it into a braid

a/n i'm sincerely sorry if i butchered shidou's character this is a first for me 😭

the definition of "treats everyone like shit but you"

if you're ever bullied or made fun of by anyone except him, he will actually fistfight that person (and probably win 💯)

I KNOW this man has the most horrendous posture and you have to constantly remind him to sit up straight

flirts by closing your laptop or something stupid that somehow inconveniences you

definitely the kind of guy that finds it cute when you get mad, especially at him

"aw, did i really get you this worked up?"

and when you try to do it back, he always manages to slap your hand away or avoid you at the right time 😐😑

he's super clingy in his sleep - latched onto you like a koala bear, and probably snores really loud. then denies it the next morning

if you're shorter than shidou, he makes it his goal to drill it into your head at all times. he uses you as an armrest, grinning whenever you have to look up at him

his taste in music varies from rap to classical music, all in the same playlist (he is a menace for that)

when he talks about football, you can see the passion burning in his eyes. his hands moving animatedly and his mouth fixed into a huge smile

he dyes his hair a lot and definitely loves when you help him out

kills you with no shame when the both of you play games together

i think he would show his love with gifts 🤔 i can definitely see him as making it up to you buy showing up at your door in the middle of the night with your favorite snacks

a/n finding good ymir manga panels where she isnt in a life threatening situation is hard so i just did a little doodle 🤔 might start doing these instead they're so cute !!1! also i made the museum an art museum i hope u dont mind TT also this isn't proofread </3

you didn't think much of it when ymir appeared behind your locker door while you were getting your books for last period. it was a frequent occurrence, anyways. the both of you weren't exactly the best of friends, but you enjoyed her company.

and obviously, she felt the same.

"you want to go out with me?" you asked, looking puzzledly at the girl leaning nonchalantly against the wall, a smirk plastered on her face.

"pft, no way, y/n. i totally just wanted to ask you on a museum date for the hell of it," she replied, followed by a lighthearted eye roll. "so, yes or no?"

"uh, i'll have to-" mid-sentence, the realization suddenly hit you like a truck. "wait, it's a date?"

ymir shrugged. "if you want it to be. merely a suggestion."

"yes." it slipped out before your brain could properly process it. a date?

for just a split second, you noticed ymir's eyes widened, like she was surprised. did she expect you to say no? then she threw her head back and laughed, slinging an arm around your shoulder and pulling you close.

"i'll see you this saturday then, sweetheart," ymir whispered in your ear. her breath was warm on your skin and sent chills down your spine.

and as quickly as it happened, she walked away, a definite spring in her step.

you touched your hand to your ear.

saturday couldn't have arrived faster. before you knew it, you and ymir were standing in front a canvas that stretched from the ceiling from the floor, featuring a meticulously painted greek city on the coast.

"this looks like it must have taken ages to make," you remarked.

"sometimes i wonder how they do it without going senile," ymir muttered, leaning in closer to stare at the sea foam painted on the dark blue waves.

"well, they do most of the time," you said thoughtfully, turning to face her. "we did learn about van gogh last week - don't you remember?"

"of course i remember," ymir scoffed in disbelief. "i actually pay attention in class, unlike somebody."

you punched her softly in the shoulder. "are you still hung up over that time i asked you for the maths notes?"

"who said i was talking about you? and you hit like a girl."

"that's because i am! and that's incredibly misogynistic of you."

a nearby attendee glared at you trying and failing to suppress your giggles.

"sorry, sir. i'll shut her up," ymir said with the straightest face she could manage, saluting as she pulled you away into an empty hallway, where the both of you burst out laughing.

"that guy was scary, i actually thought he was gonna kick us out!" you choked out in between bouts of laughter.

when the two of you finally calmed down, ymir took your hand again. "come on. let's go check out the other exhibits."

the rest of the day passed by in a flash. it was a whirlwind of admiring the gorgeous paintings, stolen glances, snacking on coffee and cake at the museum cafe and fingers brushing against each other. at the end of it, you realised that you were already excited for the next time you would see each other.

"i guess this is where the date ends," you finally said. the both of you were sitting on the massive stairs that led to the museum's main entrance, watching the sun set. nobody else was around - all that could be heard was the yells and cries of children from a nearby playground.

ymir shoved her hands into her pockets, her face suddenly flushing red. "can i be honest with you?" she turned to look you straight in the eye.

"sure," you said, curious as to why the usually bold and brash girl in front of you had such a flustered look on her face.

"i found looking at you much more interesting than all those paintings."

your heartbeat sped up as heat began spreading across your cheeks. it felt like you had forgotten every word in the english language, and all you could do was gape at her.

noticing your stunned face, ymir groaned. "shit, did that sound too cliche? i'm sorry, just forget i said that."

you broke into laughter. "no no, i loved that. and you look too cute when you're worried."

a wave of relief washed over ymir, and her usual cocky grin returned. she shifted slightly closer to you, letting her thigh rub against yours.

just as you were about to return the favour by resting your head on her shoulder, you heard a car honk. sasha's head poked out of the car on the road below, beaming from ear to ear.

"Y/N, AS MUCH AS I HATE TO INTERRUPT, WE HAVE A DINNER TO CATCH!" your sister called out.

you shot ymir an apologetic smile as she feigned a look of heartbreak. "you had plans without me?"

"as much as i would have loved to stay, it's a family dinner." you sighed. then you leaned in to whisper in her ear. "i'll see you the next time."

and with that, you got up and skipped down the steps, getting into the backseat and winding down the window to look at ymir one final time.

"bye, ymir!" you yelled over the car engine, waving frantically at the girl standing at the top of the steps.

as the car drove away, it was ymir's turn to sit there dumbfounded, with a hand on her ear as the words you said rang in her head.

"i'll see you the next time."

a/n god i love him so much :((( also this isnt a resolved friends to lovers so. Part Two? maybe? Smirks also this is not proofread oh my god i dislike this but i need to get my brain rolling

"can you stay still for like, two seconds?" you huffed, dabbing at the smeared nail polish on megumi's fingertips with a cotton wad. "you're a sorcerer - i thought that you would have steady hands."

that earned you a flick on the forehead from the blue-eyed boy with his other hand as he rolled his eyes at you. "what the hell do my hands have to do with jujutsu sorcery?"

"i don't know, your shikigami thingy maybe? i'm not one of you guys, don't expect me to know," you giggled, smacking him on the back of his head to even it out.

"remind me why i even agreed to this in the first place again," megumi groaned.

"i always used to paint your nails, it's like tradition." you got up to reach for the bottle of nail polish remover, settling back down opposite megumi with an earnest look in your eyes. "and besides, i have a surprise!"

he could feel the heat creeping up the back of his neck as he stared at you leaning back over the table where the both of you were sitting. the way you held his hands were impossibly gentle - the contrast between his calloused, worn hands and your smoother, smaller ones, were sending chills down his spine.

the truth was, his hands normally weren't shaky. it was just because of you, and it was driving him insane.

he could remember the day his heart began racing everytime he saw you. it was the first time that the both of you had met up in years. ever since gojo satoru took custody of megumi, you weren't allowed to see him. it was a command from the "higher ups", and despite having no good reasoning, not even the best sorcerer in the jujutsu world dared to challenge them. but a few years later, he pulled on some strings, and they loosened up the rules.

the day of your meeting had been a beautiful fall day, and when megumi caught sight of your figure racing towards him, he wasn't sure that it was even you. he wasn't sure what he expected - it was his first time seeing you in years - but you looked completely different. but he recognised you, he recognised your stupid smile and your stupid laugh. everything seemed to move in slow motion as you wrapped him in a warm hug. megumi thought that he would pass out right then and there.

"'gumi... hello??" your voice snapped megumi out of his reminiscing.

"what?" he muttered, trying not to look like he was daydreaming about you a moment ago.

"i'm done."

megumi stretched his arms out in front of him to look at what you'd done to his nails. for the most part, the polish was neat, but he could see the smudges and stray streaks on his cuticles.

then he noticed that the nail on his right index finger was painted a light shade of red, almost pink. "what's this?"

you grinned, holding up your hands in response so that he could see that your nails were colored in that exact red. except for your left index finger, which was painted in the royal blue you used on nine of megumi.

at first he was confused, then it hit him.

oh.

"you see? we're matching! like two halves of a whole? or maybe not two halves, but you know what i mean..."

your loud rambling paled in comparison to the thumping heart in megumi's chest. why was he so... affected by this?

"that's... c-cute," he managed to choke out. "i guess."

megumi stared down at his hands planted on his knees in an attempt to hide the blush growing on his face.

you frowned, unsure of why he was acting this way. you tipped your head to get a closer look at megumi's face. "you don't look like you like it."

megumi shot back upright, a panicked expression replacing his flustered one. "oh no, no. i like it. seriously."

he ducked away, seemingly searching for something in his bag, but really? he would rather have dropped dead than let you see the giddy smile on his face in that moment.
