While I have been able to keep up with drawing something everyday, I guess I don't really have to *post* everyday unless it's something I actually want to.

We need more BadBoyHalo being a scary monster so I am here to deliver 🫡 If you havent seen my other art this is his "true" form and what he's worried about the other members seeing, even though a few already know (like quackity, wilbur, niki, tubbo, ect) and the other's probbaly wouldnt judge him or see him differently other than being a bit surprised.

This is turning into a bit of a species info dump but that's what tumblr is for I guess so !

Some things to know- This strange looking ten foot tall monsterish form is what regular Wither demons normally look like! Ofc they're not always pissed like how I drew here but the unsettlingness can still stick around when theyre not trying to be threatening just because of their large teeth, claws, and well being large LOL Bad, coming from the nether originally got the gist firsthand how the overworld viewed WIther Demons and most people were scared of him, so as a safety measure and for his own anxiety he learned transfiguration magic over the coarse of a few years to create himself a smaller, less thretening form. At first it was hard and painful to maintain his smaller form (which is about 5'6, gets rid of most of his teeth, smaller horns/tail/wings that can't fly and less defined leg joints) but after a while of using it frequently along with getting better with his magic he's able to maintain it prettymuch constantly! Though he does have to revert back for at least 30 minutes a day to avoid health issues and longterm transfiguration detriments. (I had a breif idea that during purgatory he would be forced into his true form to defend himself and/or because he kept his smaller one up in front of everyone for too long) Anyyyways Dapper and most of the other babies know about his real form! He lets them ide on his back sometimes and teaches them how to fly/roar and other silly things. hmm another fun fact, Bad has the demon equivelent of a dad bod, if you notice he shed the spikes on his upper back and neck (which parent demons do so their babies can ride on their backs safely), and gained the barbs on his lower neck (which he can rattle to better communicate and imitate the call of a baby demon, it doenst serve much of a purpose with the baby dragons seeing as they aren't wither demons but they've grown fond of the sound when Bad would make it on accident, and can mimic it <3) AKA with the addition of the dragon babies his body went into dad mode like it had when JR was born, he can't really control it but doesnt really mind and it does kinda help him with them anyways. In addition to the physical changes, he's also beome incredibly protective over them Despite them not being his bloodborn children (this is common for wither demons, since their species is scarce they evolved to get these paternal instincts and hormones when they take a paternal role which was meant for ophaned baby demons but works with other species too, Bad's just like oh okay I have a handful of baby dragons my body thinks is its own now woah okay

The Fallen Star ✨

A Wish rewrite

(Scrapped) Act I - Prologue

We hear a woman’s voice reminiscent of the Golden Age of Disney, narrating events from a book:

Once upon a time, Stars roamed the earth. Magical beings from the sky that used their magic to help people, to assist them in fulfilling their dreams.

However, the Stars soon started to simply grant wishes, and people became lazy and dependent, demanding the stars make their wishes reality. The Stars became full of themselves and mad with power, almost destroying the kingdoms.

[Author’s Note: Take my messy sketches! Idk I’ll try to do little doodles per part IT WAS RUSHED OKAY]

One survivor, Magnus Arman, escaped his burning homeland. He saw the wreckage the Stars had caused, and vowed that he could never lose the people he loved to the Stars again.

On his journey, Magnus came across another wrecked kingdom. Another land the Stars had destroyed. Another land with no survivors… but one. Magnus heard a faint sob in the distance. Once he followed it, Magnus came across a child— Asha Arabella.

Magnus took Asha under his wing, and started working to stop the Stars. He studied their magic, bringing his young daughter with him on his adventures.

While he studied, he met a young woman named Amaya, who cared for Asha like her own. Soon enough, the two fell in love and wed.

[Amaya’s dress is a callback to the classic Golden Age princess wedding dresses]

But one day, more Stars fell from the heavens and attacked, wanting all the magic for themselves.

That day, Magnus almost lost his family.

So Magnus, determined to protect his family, used all his magical knowledge and became the Wishgranter, one who would decide what wishes were good and what could never be granted.

Note that the book doesn’t tell exactly how Magnus defeated the Stars… but anyways now he has a sick-ass white outfit like the one we see in the canon movie.

He defeated the evil Stars, and together, Magnus and Amaya founded the Kingdom of Rosas, a safe haven across off the Iberian Peninsula where people could give their wishes to Magnus and he would keep them safe from harm, from the greedy Stars. Magnus became known throughout the lands as Magnifico, the master of wishes.

And often, the wishes people gave Magnifico were good, and he granted them.

We see Magnifico granting a wish [I can’t find the picture but let’s say the dressmaker one we saw in the movie with a callback to Sleeping Beauty’s dress. And you know what, it’s blue.]

Little Asha was raised in the castle where she was doted on by her parents.

Teen Asha, just a bit younger than she is now, so around fourteen, and the page flips to Asha now, seventeen years old.

And this is where our story begins.

So! Epilogue! I guess! Halfway done but I need to get it out bc I want to start random doodles and I need somewhat of a starting point!

Small tidbits about my Still Into You 2ha animatic

Coz it's April, exactly one year from now was when I started completing it and I'm in the mood now. + I don't think I made a proper one + it won the twitter poll

Check it out if you're interested... or not! I just want to dump my thoughts and fun facts that I thought of while making this.

To preface this, check them out if you haven't seen it yet: (Still Into You & Please Don't Leave Me)

If you've been hanging around my blog for a while, it's kinda evident that I did post a promo post for Still Into You back in January 2023. And that first part does have an in-depth explanation about what it covers (which is from the start to the first chorus).

If you're wondering why: TL;DR I can't work on An Act of Kindness coz I was back home from school for vacation and I thought of the idea during a trip.

Anyway, I ramble. Time to get to the actual discussion.

(spoilers!!) The Actual Discussion

Making the rest of Still Into You, unlike Mo Ran's feelings for CWN, was actually just straightforward. I already knew that it'd cover the rest of the book, given that I intentionally focused heavily on book 1 while making part 1.

Like part 1, part 2 was that type of animatic that just naturally flowed during the storyboarding and rough sketch process. The whole animatic is divided into three phases which covers the following: Book 1, Book 2 and 3, and lastly the Epilogue.

Book 1 I've already discussed in an earlier post here but I did find this interesting tidbit I wrote to my cousin:

Anyways the discussion:

Yeah I really wish I have a funny image to put here. I'm really enjoying looking back at my stuff and seeing my initial plans though.

Order at which I made each part.

One thing of note (and actually a common oversight I experience while doing storyboards coz I don't do timings) was that I storyboarded the frames when the vocals started and forgot the timings in between.

So I kinda had to fill the parts between part 1 and 2 last-ish? (don't really remember the proper timings).

Oh, oh! And another fun fact:

Still Into You Part 2 (Rough Draft)

Part 2 was initially done on my tablet in CSP so there's a whole different and rougher version of it. (pls lower the volume if you're wearing earphones)

Funnily enough, this took me like one sitting to finish and a whole lot of sessions to clean up. I do like this process though given that, around the time I drew this, I started leaning heavily into animation and prioritizing getting my thoughts across without care for cleanliness. (Something I felt held me back too much while making Please Don't Leave Me).

In fact, there are some obvious frames that I didn't really bother polishing up (mostly because they're too hard for me or they just flash by quickly). A glaring example is this frame from the third part:

Another fun fact about the scene where TXJ shows CWN the plant he's been raising is it's actually inspired off of a doodle I made for someone in the Two Lifetimes CSE back in April 16 2023.

I just really think that it's super adorable for them. Mo Ran in the the epilogue section alternates between TXJ and 2.0.

Aside from the plant, TXJ also appears in this frame which is inspired from one of the extras. Another silly intentional decision I did is to have him pour alcohol onto a cup and drink from the bottle.

Meanwhile 2.0 appears here:

The one on the left is also from (you guessed it) an extra! It's based from an offhand mention that CWN makes in one of them. (Let me know what your guesses are haha)

I kinda just jumped into the 3rd half of the song, huh? I hope my ramblings aren't too much! I just wanna let it flow naturally.

Returning to the topic of the storyboard, I really only had a rough idea of what I wanted for the 3rd half. The references to the extras and even Goutou's appearance just came when I was already putting it into frame. Like, this was what I initially had in mind for the 2nd chorus to the end.

I think one of the notable differences is that I initially planned on doing the half MR half CWN screen transition the same way i did with chorus 1 and 2 but decided against it. In retrospect, I think it fits a lot because both aren't divided anymore.

Something about the second verse + chorus of the song

Like in chorus 1 and chorus 3, this section of the song takes on a darker tone since it covers book 2 going into book 3. It's a lot to talk about so I'm gonna select a couple that I personally like that's worth mentioning and leave the rest to the viewers to guess.

Also sorry not sorry for those who got spoiled by the animatic lmao.

The confession scene

Another fun fact: The confession scene in Still Into You and Please Don't Leave Me are intentionally connected through the color palette.

It's just that Still Into You takes a dump at how it treats it. Yes, the stick figures are intentional. It adds to the funny and tbh Still Into You really is just a feel good animatic. The comedy also serves as a whiplash to the angst hell that is the chorus 🥰.

(Insert obligatory CWN running at a tree meme here)

My Favorite 2ha Moment

Gotta insert my favorite chapter here (ch 184) which I think is one of 2ha's peaks because it resolves CWN's doubts about MR's feelings all this times.

And I'm just soo glad I could incorporate it in an animatic because it's so important to me. AND Like, 'yknow, I think it echoes the song very well because guess what MR tells CWN then?

“It has always been you."

That one frame before the chorus

There's like this moment before the second chorus starts where MR tells CWN something. I wanted it to echo ch 207 where MR felt the pressure of having to reveal that he actually is reborn and has memories of his past life.

If this were animated I'd have had MR match the song and tell CWN "I'm still into you".

Anyways, here's the frame before it zooms in. Physically it's still at ch 207, but I wanted the shadows to imply what happens next which is the chorus.

Other Bonus stuff

Ran out of stuff I wanna gush about so Imma talk about cut content.

XM and the MHX twins are supposed to have more frames (I didn't include it because it felt like it had too much energy)

2. Ling'er and the village ranwan visits during farm arc is also supposed to make an appearance

4. I was supposed to polish the sequence at 2:41 - 2:51 at one point.

Alrighty I'm basically a regular here SO LETS GET TO IT

lodoeheie so I just got the movie novel of uglydolls because i need to fill my hunger for uglydolls content and THERE R SO MANY LITTLE DETAILS AND DIFFERENCES IN THE BOOK???!!???

ok so Lou's monologue in the pipes are completely different and they kind of point out details about Lou like his loafers being expensive and allat

BUT IM NOT TALING ABOTU TAGT

there's this one part in the book where they are about to reveal Ox after the all dolled up scene and instead of Ox, Nolan was behind Lou???? I think it was just supposed to show how awkward Nolan is idk 💀💀

ALSO for some reason I feel like EVERUTIME Nolan made an appearance they always described him as "the handsome doll" and I find that so so silly but I love it

oh YEYEHA it's implied in the book that the dolls wear their own clothes when they aren't doing training which was not the case in the movie (probably due to animation complications)

in the gauntlet scene, in the book, it was Mandy who kinda taunted Lou to participate in the gauntlet rather than him deciding to buy himself. Also it made me think why he even decided to join it in both medias when he knew he'd fail but my friend and I just established that at that point he was probably already batshit crazy and had nothing to lose

the whole Ox flashback part was longer and had more details to it. So both Lou and Ox went for the gauntlet together and completed it but it showed that they failed and everyone thought it was Ox that caused them to fail when it was really Lou (kind of sad that Lou probably knew it was himself and had to put the blame on Ox)

it was also mentioned that both Lou and Nolan have somewhat of a muscular build so time to make some new head cannons

IM SO SORRY THAT THESE POINTS WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE AND THERE'S TYPOS EVERYWHERE

why hello, we meet again... time for more rambling xD STRAP IN EVERYONE!

yes!! i've known about the novel for a hot minute. i haven't bought or read it (...yet) but i remember seeing silentreadersmatter (i believe?) post about it on wattpad... so shoutout to them lol. anywho time to respond to each thing mentioned in order (just about)...

lou with loafers!!: i always assumed he wore some sort of fancy shoewear... so it's nifty that they added clarification i guess xD

awkward nolan: awkward nolan is the superior nolan (in my opinion. i'm sorry lads)... i see nolan be depicted as a 'uwu soft boy bottom" most of the time... but i always thought he was just a awkward doll. like, an anxious mess that is trying his best but fumbles constantly. he's a ball of anxiety, and i love him. ANYWAYS

buff nolan real??: GOSH, I AM SO GLAD SOMEONE NOTICED THE MUSCULAR NOLAN THING. i always imagined nolan to be taller than the other dolls (he isn't really in the film but i always headcanoned it so because his uniform is smaller as if he was too big for it) but once i saw him be called "handsome" and "tall" and "muscular" in the novel, i flipped. the little baby boy is actually a BIG BUFF BABY. i have a doodle of this from a few months ago heheh... (thank you for giving me an excuse to show it because it's been lingering in my files for a while LMAO)

^^^ lou is just trying to act evil and devious but he got this tall, handsome muscular doll getting in his way xD

ohhh but i can just imagine instead of the robot dog taking lou to the washer, nolan personally picks him up and drags him there. now THAT'S a moment i want to see.

fashion: oh, i didn't know about the clothes thing! DAMNIT i want to see them all in casual clothing, so i know what kind of styles they wear!! i mean, there's a concept art with lou in a white jumper with a golden 'L' on it... but that's all.

i have my headcanons for what they wear, but it would be cool to see... especially since most other dolls normally do have numerous outfits for the kids to dress them up in.

gauntlet: yeah, lou kinda lost the plot around that point. i would take a guess that he was probably unnerved by just basically killing two dolls, one that he knew (possibly for a while) and one that was close to his old friend, so when he saw mandy still alive he was like "well sh*t." and then came the downward spiral of him trying to sabotage the others, before inevitably sabotaging himself. ...but i think the book's version of mandy getting the crowds to peer pressure lou to joining the gauntlet made more sense (lou's reputation would be at stake and his reputation is basically all he has) than him joining anyways in the film. i guess they tried to make it make more sense with the whole "I don't even have to win. I just need to make sure you lose." but ehh... eh....

ox's tragic anime backstory: yes!! they should've done this version in the film honestly. perhaps they could've even shown lou's regret for lying to basically his only friend. ...oh wait, i forgot. lou's meant to be a 100% evil villain who kicks babies. anyways, again i feel that the novel made more sense than the canon we got in film. i guess in the film ox got recycled because he was causing others to fail by accident? but the novel's version is much more interesting.

if i remember correctly (and if i don't, count this as a rewritten version lol) the assistant robots took ox away after he 'failed' in the novel. i can imagine a scene where we are in ox's perspective, being forcefully dragged away to the pipes whilst lou looks at him, dread and sadness written across his face, yet he doesn't try to stop the robots. he just stands there, biting back his guilt. ohh... if only...

STRONG BOYS!!: heheheheh strong nolan and lou... would be funny if nolan didn't appear strong, but is actually stronger than lou. but then again, how can you tell if the doll is strong? they all look like same. lou says his arms are bumped or whatever in ugly truth but WHERE? WHERE'S THE BUMPED ARMS LOU??

anywho, thank you for the novella lore dump! for anyone who is interested, go check out the novel as well. it's pretty interesting if you are deep into doll purgatory. (also it's mentioned that ox used to wear a fedora from what i remember)(THAT IS TERRIBLE. I LOVE IT)

Hiya! Just yeeting a hc at you: I've always Headcanoned that Scout usually went with the Bat/frying pan due to shaky hands or smth. Could be caused by anything. But probably from the amount of energy that guy has is the most possible-

Hey bestie!! I wanted to answer this with a little doodle, but I can't really draw anything atm since it's nearly midnight for me. HOWEVER, I will share with you some of the research I did on hand tremors!

Disclaimer ⚠️: I myself am not a mobility aid user, nor do I personally experience hand tremors. I do not claim to know everything on the topic, and may be incorrect or wrong in some cases! If you'd like to know more, I highly encourage you do your own research!! Ofc, if you happen to know more than I do, feel free to correct me where I'm wrong :) and have fun reading!

I really like ur idea on the bat/frying pan for Scout! It does make sense for him to perfer those particular melees with hand tremors, since the small triggers on guns might be a bit fiddly to deal with. Maybe for the frying pan he'd have to wrap the handle so it's a bit thicker, and easier to hold! Like those big rubber grippers for utensils you can order online

Your ask made me think about what other things Scout might use/do in order to live with his tremors as comfortably as he can. I imagine he'll have to attend occasional physiotherapy sessions with Medic, to practice resistance training and working his muscles to help get steadier hands!

Of course, this also all depends on what kind of tremors Scout is experiencing, but since you said shaky hands, I'm going to guess Essential tremor, maybe? Essential tremor is one of the most common movement disorder, and it causes tremors mainly around the arms or hands, although it can also affect the head, voice, or other areas of the body. Essential tremor can be mild, or severe, depending on the person. I'm sure you weren't actually thinking about a specific type of tremor when sending in this ask, so I'm probably over-thinking this, but it's still interesting to learn!

I also think Scout would have to probably get a lil checkup after battles, especially since hand tremors usually worsen after intakes of caffeine (and Scout’s gotta be chugging that BONK all battle), and obviously after a bloody battle there's gonna be leftover adrenaline too. All of that combined means a lot of shaky hands, so off to the Doc he goes to de-stress!

There are also some mobility aids that help with tremors that Scout could use! Such as these braces/gloves (??) That dempens tremors. Now, I'm not sure how exactly these work, and I've never personally used them before, so their actual effectiveness is beyond me; but according to what I've read, they're apparently pretty helpful at stabilizing the hand (if only somewhat)

From what I understand, some of them are simply weighted gloves that you strap onto your hand, such as the ones shown in the second and third picture, but some have tiny little sensors in them that counteract against the tremors to "cancel out" the shaking?? (I probably didn't word that right)

Anyways, I had a lot of fun exploring more tf2 merc disability headcanons with y'all, and I hope you had fun too!! Sorry to anon for dumping this massive answer on you, you probably just wanted a simple doodle :')

okay hi

did i promise to make an art... lore dump post literally last month? yes. did i not do it for nearly a month? also yes. and im Very Sorry.

anyway! onto the ranting

So starting off with the obvious, Nanehi's color scheme is based off of the Shawnee tribe's flag!

Obviously more desaturated, but the blue sweater and two yellow stars were meant to show that he's native.

Alright, going in page order I'm just gonna throw around some easter eggs or fun facts or commentary...whatever....

Because this is the only good image I can find of it, Nane wears his parents' wedding bands on a necklace. Because his parents are divorced </3

On page 2, Nane has a poster up on his wall which is my current sketchbook cover in my art class. I believe it's somewhere on my art blog

Nane has a ziptie on his backpack! It doesn't mean anything.

Page 6: The white text that says "what?" is actually a reference to the first debut of Nane - an askblog!

(technically his first word was "huh" but i changed it to what for plot's sake)

Continuing with the black spaces on page 6, the panicked eye doesn't really mean anything. However, the twisted light switch was supposed to represent the noose that shows up at the end of the comic.

For page 7, there's obviously the audience design to talk about, but the things I actually wanna focus on are:

The doodle on the top left, which is Nanehi saying that he thinks he has tinnitus [which he then goes on to immediately deny in the next page]

And the doodle on the bottom right. His fursona is a bunny and if I could, I would've tried to fit more bunny imagery into the comic. But alas :pensive:

Page 13: All the different colored text were the responses I got from a select few people. I showed them the previous panels of the page and asked them what they wanted [there is one distinct person I didn't ask but I will get to them later].

I also want you to keep the... 3rd shade of green in mind [the "i want to see where this goes"]

For this panel on page 15, I wanted it to be known that Nanehi isn't a real person, and they know it. Everyone else's face is squared, even the simply doodled character in the background and the barely visible person in the foreground. Everyone except Nane.

Page 16: Man that's just mold on his shower curtain.

Page 17: There's actually a lot I want to talk about with page 17. Firstly, the design of The Audience. It changed, clearly. Before it was that weird circle thing, but now it's more humanoid - to the point of having hair similar to Nanehi's. The reason being, it's not entirely The Audience anymore. It's The Creator too. Nanehi was based off my fear of being watched and constantly having an audience. The little amount of comfort that the figure gives was... sorta supposed to be an apology to the character- as cheesy as that sounds.

(Also the fact that their text originally said "didn't they already answer that" but was crossed out to say 'we'. The Creator disguising themself as The Audience. And truly, what is to separate them?)

Another thing I want to point out is the dark grey panel. It's the same shade of grey I used for the askblog, and he's smiling in that panel, because during the askblog he was much happier around the audience- or the concept of them, rather.

And then of course, the dark blue text that reads "I know how this ends." That actually wasn't a response I took from someone, but rather a piece of... I guess dialogue, that I felt like someone would say. That specific someone being my friend Classi, who was the only person besides me that knew how Watcher ended. Purely because she had a very similar character and we thought that they'd be buddies.

On page 18, we have 3 entire panels in a different style. That being the style of the askblog.

On page 19 we have this panel, which you can probably assume what it is. It, I suppose, could both be seen as Nane standing, back to the audience, or as Nane hanging without the noose. You choose.

And of course, the last page. For some reason this fucks me up. Because this is The Creator talking to Nanehi. The Creator knows that Nane has no say in how their story ends, but they're given the illusion of control, because that's all they've been looking for. They wanted control over something, so the only way to prove such control was to show The Audience that they could end the story whenever they wanted. He doesn't know that he was talking to The Creator, he just assumed it was still The Audience. He doesn't know that he didn't really have a say.

This was what he wanted. That's how he's ending the story

Big ol doodle dump with some boys and my girl Hannei Kugutsu! Think I got a solid enough thing to start posting her

So uh I’ll go into detail another day but basically her concept is “hey what if yaldi had his own morgana to keep an eye on the wildcards” and that’s hannei, she has no idea because as far as she knows she’s a human who lost her memory do to being partly distorted in mementos, she ran into akechi and has clung to him since (this is when he first got persona powers)

As anyone who translates her name might guess, she is a blank slate, her purpose is to ‘reflect’ the wildcards and their confidants. In turn she picks up traits and slowly figures herself out as a person. Also do to this reflection she gets a persona each from akechi and akira thoigh id call it more of a sophie situation at first, she properly awakens to them after having an arc with each of them.

Also since she finds akechi first you can imagine how well reflecting this walking disaster of a kid goes so uh yeah.

Akechi is the focus here though, because this also doubles as my desperate attempt to get goro akechi to choose to live. And the start is seeing a bit too much of himself in this weirdo he found in mementos and sees her starting to spiral like he did and she is way too into the idea of being his accomplice in black mask bs and basically goes ‘fuck you the only one aloud to self destruct here is me!” And thus the arc begins!

Also she insisted on calling akechi her cousin as soon as she learned about family and akechi just has to deal with that it’s great sure do hope he doesn’t get attached and have a found family arc with this weirdo that will take like three years to culminate into a dramatic scene haha anyways

If anyone wants to know more ask box is open, oh also her personas are Zenigata and Fenrir, probably won’t be hard to guess which protags persona they’re supposed to reflect

So my friend made a joke about how I need to stop timelooping Yuma (because I keep replaying the game) and now I've just been thinking about timelooping him so here's a thought dump about a timeloop AU

Spoilers!!

How the timeloop itself functions/started I have two ideas for at the moment

one being: the idea that Yuma didnt leave the mystery labrynth at the end, and he's basically reliving the mystery over and over again due to his soul wandering forever (I feel mixed on this because I like the idea of everyone being Real and not just the result of a labrynth but this is also a very fun idea to think about as well? Hm)

The other being: the emergency exit.. didnt work how it was supposed to and suddenly Yumas back where he started and also stuck. Also Shinigamis not actually gone (because I don't want her to be!!)

Other than those ideas hhh I dunno forces beyond our comprehension (me I am the forces)

Okay, other fun things

Yuma: he's the center of the timeloop, so he's aware of it. He's so tired, he still doesn't have his past memories but he has future ones now! (Soooo he knows he's Number One, and everything)

Shinigami: she's also aware of it/stuck! She doesn't mind it, less boring than being trapped in a book and she gets more time with Yuma! Joyous!

Fubuki: I think it'd be so fun if Fubuki like.. was also kinda stuck with him, she's the time gal afterall! Although she's Fubuki so she's probably more so "also stuck, but also oblivious"

Vivia: I feel a need to bring him up, and I don't know if I really think he'd be really stuck since time in particular isn't his thing? But yeah udk (I've thought about making him aware because I'm a kokolight shipper and POTENTIAL but I'm on the fence)

Makoto: I guess it depends on how the timeloop itself works on if Makoto knows of it/is stuck as well here or not. So I'm gonna go with "he may or may not it's honestly hard to tell"

All other characters would probably not be aware of it. So I won't talk about them right now

Anyway yeah I imagine at first Yumas like "WHAT HUH WHY WHATS HAPPENING" and then after calming down starts assessing situation and trying to like, do what a lot of people would probably do in that circumstance and try to do things better, save people who died, all of that as ya do.. annddd the timeloop doesn't stop and its a nightmare

I dont have a SINGLE clue how stopping it would happen. All I know is loop loop loop loop

Anyway here's some of my brainstorm doodles the first page I did at 1am before I had anything really thought of, enjoy (idk of its obvious but I am also a Kaguford (Makoto x fubuki) fan, I just think they're cute)

There's so much more I want to think about like hey he knows Yakous murder plot now how would he go forward with that information, how would he go about the cases in the game in general? Augh so much to think about but those are my current thoughts YAY

I was going to talk abt it when I doodled more of it, but that might be like next year or never kjkskjs so I'll do it now!!

Ok so. It's not a Treasure Island au, just some pirate au I thought while reading Treasure Island (and listening to Shiver My Timbers from Muppets Treasure Island, that song is SUCH a banger). Though it has the same aesthetics in the sense of time period and such.

Mickey here is a famous explorer and scholar who travels across the sea and writes about its misteries, creatures, islands. He's gained quite the reputation and people say he might as well guard the whole ocean inside his brain. He lives in a house a bit far from the city at the seashore, where he keeps his studies and findings such as fossils and shells.

The Phantom Blot is the captain of the Darkenblot ship and his black-stained flag is well known across the seas as belonging to the most fearsome pirate to ever set sail on them. (Pete is his first mate, Plottigat, the medic/inventor, and Scuttle and Trudy and maybe other baddies I'm forgetting about are there in his crew too)

So, there's this legend about a jewel called "The Heart of the Sea" very creative I know that allows the person who holds it to control the winds, tides, and storms. Blot wants it, and he's convinced that that famous mouse explorer knows where it is. So he has Mickey kidnapped and taken aboard.

Mickey does know some clues to where the heart might be, but he refuses to help Blot. Aftel all, the jewel would be trouble enough in the hands of some common pirate, so someone intelligent and cruel like him could only bring disaster. So Blot gives him a few days to change his mind, or he'll walk the plank.

While locked in the ship's cell, Mickey's helped by one of the pirates, who sneaks in some food and water when he can. He's suspicious at first, but soon learn that this one pirate - Donald Duck - Is not like he rest of the crew at all.

Donald was just a simple fisherman who, out of his enormous bad luck, ended up in the Drakenblot's way while fishing away from the shore. He would have been tossed overboard, but Blot noticed something about him - an almost supernatural sense of direction, and the ability to tell when the weather would change. He was too valuable to be lost, so he was forced to become one of the pirates. Or they'd harm his family (He carried a picture of his nephews with him).

So anyways after that Idk what happens exactly. I guess Mickey and Donald try to escape and Donald is almost drowned by the pirates, but when drowning he turns into a mermaid (though the design is more like a fish monster, yknow, like the ones from Pixar's Luca) and he grabs Mickey and swims away. They find Donald's uncle Scrooge who explains that Donald was a mermaid his whole life but if he knew that, the signs of his heritage would be impossible to hide (such as markings on his skin when he was in his terrestrial form idk) and that's why he hid it from him and Della (who found out she was a mermaid and had to hide leaving her sons to Donald, as she didn't want them to be chased and hunted).

Then uuuh I guess Donald, Mickey, the nephews and Scrooge (and Goofy too I want him to be there) go find the Heart of The Sea and I think the other mermaids before the pirates do, and Magica is in the au somewhere as a cool sea whitch/monster and Mickey and Donald become a couple at some point I think that's it

Guess who's back already? That's right my brain demanded I do a bit of info dumping for Knuckles from Bound by Fate after I did some for Sonic yesterday. Plus some doodles cause I need practice drawing him anyway. Ramblings below.

Alright so much like Sonic, Knuckles was alone for pretty much his whole life. Though way more isolated due to living up on Angel Island. The local animals and the Master Emerald pretty much took care of him until he could take care of himself. The Master Emerald of course in a not really direct way, but it wants to make sure it's guardian is ok.

Honestly Knuckles probably learns a lot of what he knows from the Master Emerald. Through their connection it can sort of talk to him. The two can't really hold a conversation since the emerald is only sorta sentient but it's all Knuckles really has besides the animals and chao. Because of his connection to the emerald he always likes to be near it to sleep; when he's younger that often leads to him sleeping on top of it. As he gets older he sleeps on top of it less but if he's having a particularly rough day he'll do it. It's weirdly comforting to him.

As he starts getting more and more independent he likes to take trips away from the emerald to explore the island. These trips are pretty short at first but eventually he gets more comfortable with the idea of leaving the emerald alone. On one of these longer trips he comes across his hat, way to big for him at the moment but he grows into it eventually. Once he's much older he begins to explore the ruins on the island, slowly piecing together things about his people. It's also there that he come across the stuff about Dark Gaia that leads him to hunting down Sonic in the first place. Him going after Sonic is the first time he's ever left Angel Island and to put it lightly things are a struggle for him.

I could most certainly find more stuff to say but like with the Sonic post I wanna make sure to not accidentally get into spoiler territory lol.

Doodle Dump (NSR + Kun3h0)

Bleh.

1 ) Sayu MAD-ness (sketches). This isn't the intended composition, I just wanted to cram in as many of them as I could for this upload. So I think I've posted about this "project" before, where I draw Sayu as a bunch of anime memes from my youth, but I just have no motivation to really finish it. I dunno. I love Sayu as I love the entire NSR cast, but I don't like drawing her that much~ Anyway, tell me if you can guess all the ones here. There's 8~

2 ) Test 1010s(?). I titled this "test 1010s" but I don't remember what I was testing. Style, maybe?

3-5) Keychain tests. When I made that poll, DJSS was the top character to get encased, but as of writing, White shot back up in the vote, so I'm focusing on these two for the tests. I also wanted to try a non-chibi style for 1010, but I'll probably make another poll to see which one people prefer. The last sketch was an alternate idea of turning the keychains into music players. I like the concept, but the execution is lacking somehow.

6-7) Kun3h0 sketches. I'm still very frustrated with these, but that doesn't matter since I managed to get *something* going eventually. I just wanna put these up here, so I can remember the pain and suffering I went through to get to that point.

8-9) Drill. Thinking about giving Kun3h0 a new weapon, since her hands are becoming less of a focus. I bounced around the idea of a flail (because of the raw violence of it) and a giant pair of scissors (because the blades look like bunny ears), but I eventually landed on a drill as her signature weapon. I think it works since rabbits are known for making burrows, and I like the inadvertent Dig Dug rep. We are slowly but surely moving away from the music/sound theme that she originally had, but that's fine. I don't think it was ever clear that the circles on her boots and gloves were speakers anyway~
