OOHHHHHHHHH thank you for asking!

Okay okay so I will be recasting most of the main characters. Like @annymation, Chris Pine is still Magnifico because he’s literally Magnifico, and I don’t really have a problem with any of the seven teens’ voices.

So here we go!

Asha is voiced by Cynthia Ervo!

I really like Ariana’s voice, it’s very much what someone would associate with the 3D Disney princesses. However, TFS!Asha has a completely different personality than most Disney princesses, and I want her voice to match that. She has a very strong singing conviction, and it’s different voice representation! Plus, Cynthia has HUGE vocal range, it’s seriously amazing, and honestly fits exactly how TFS!Asha is

And as a bonus, Cynthia was in Disney before!

Cielo is voiced by Anthony Ramos!

I first found out about Anthony because of Hamilton, and I’ve loved him in everything since. Literally every character he plays or voices is similar to Cielo! Particularly his roles in In the Heights and Bad Guys, he sings in both too!

Anthony is just so funny and goofy, and has SUCH STRONG flirtatious vibes EXACTLY how I imagine Cielo to be with Asha

^This is the song I’m imagining when I imagine domestic royalstar. I’m only attaching the song instead of the music video bc it’s a tad suggestive and also, Jasmine (his then girlfriend and fiancée featured in the video) broke up and that makes me sad

But!!! Musical experience, chill personality, Spanish, literally all Cielo.

Magnus is voiced by Chris Pine!

DON’T COME AFTER ME OKAY HIS VOICE SOUNDS AMAZING IN THIS SONG

It won’t be used like this in my rewrite but CMON IS VOICE SOUNDS AMAZING AND IT FITS HIS CHARACTER IN THE FALLEN STAR

Seriously, Chris Pine really loved his role, you can tell. “This is the Thanks I Get” didn’t fit his voice in the honeyed way it’s perfect in, and I’ll forever be mad at Disney for that. Chris is good in slow, emotional songs, which is why his villain song in my rewrite will be perfect for him

Amaya is voiced by Carolina Gaitán

So I’m still not really sure about this one. Amaya in TFS is Egyptian-Hispanic and I didn’t really know a lot of singers outside of Broadway tbh, but Carolina is such a great one! She voices Pepa in Encanto and it’s a shame we didn’t get to hear much of her singing voice (besides that small bit in “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”) because she’s such a great singer! I’m not 100% sure of her voice, but I do think it fits and that it will grow on me. I also haven’t had the chance to draw Amaya as much as I’d like to, so I feel like once I do I’ll be able to picture her more.

Valentino is voiced by Ravi Cabot-Conyers

Now, Valentino doesn't have any significant singing roles in my AU, but he does still speak. And I love, love Alan and know he has done amazing things for Disney, so I want to find him a voice in The Fallen Star too, but Ravi also voiced this little cutie

And yes, it's another Encanto voice, but Ravi was so adorable and amazing and it would be funny to have his dichotomy with the deep-voiced Asha

If you want detail dump about your new sona design?

Sure! ✨💚 -In my second outfit where I only have a jacket I wanted to show a little my taste for basketball (it's my favorite sport and the only one I know how to play decently lmao,that's why I added the number to my shirt)

This is how I would look without the jacket (imagine that it is a shirt and on top of it there is a basketball shirt please, I made this quick sketch and I don't know if it shows) -I also wanted to have star symbolism on my clothes because of the wish rewrite fandom, so I reused the idea from Aster's redesign by adding a star gradient on my pants. -The scarf exists in real life! I sewed it myself and it is one of my greatest prides lol

There are few of them so I will also say some peculiar qualities that my sona has!

You can say that I look a little like the old crazy cartoons that had those qualities of stretching and changing size o(￣▽￣)ｄ

I like to imagine that I use them to facilitate the process of designing the KOW characters (like in the drawing of Aster) Imagine as if I changed size to add small details to the characters or stretched like a cartoon from the 80s just because I am very short enough to reach some characters *cough*cough* King Magnifico-*cough*

Or simply to not get bored and chat with you in a more fun way!

So I always thought that Asha and Cielo would have kids one day, but since @shipper967 gave me the idea for a possible Fallen Star sequel, maybe it’ll be after that

I like the idea of twins, a boy and a girl, maybe to signify how animation and magic are connected

I think they would name their daughter after Asha’s mother, Sakina (maybe they call her Nina as a nickname) and their son idkkkk Aster? Why not

Sakina Estrella Evy Arman and Aster Leó Polaris Arman, they have two middle names because they're Spanish and their parents couldn't decide on one middle name for them

Now, Aster is very much like his mum at the beginning of her arc. He’s less outspoken, but similarly annoyed by silly antics (though he deals with his sister’s). He’s very logical and by-the-book, sort of like Twilight Sparkle in the first episode

I do think he’d have braids like his mum, but dress in warmer colors like the picture on the left

Nina, on the other hand, is very friendly, takes after her dad. She’s spunky and optimistic, and also curious and happy, like the picture on the left, those soft cooler colors, but with her hair like the right, loose and open

She has more of her dad’s hair texture, but a bit curlier than the one on the right. Nina dresses in indigos and lilacs, opposing to her brother’s deep scarlets and burnt oranges

Nina also has vitiligo from her papa, looking sort of like this

Okay so I thought of a plot for them. Not going to say it because I need to finish TFS first. But it’s about how there is still magic in everyday life, but adding a little of your own magic isn’t too bad either

Have you ever discussed with your colleagues the Wish Rewrite AUs of Star and Asha's children from other stories (not from KOW)? Because at the moment, only the names and appearance of the children of the main characters in your story are officially known. I hope you understand my question, I just don't know how to formulate it.

No we actually never talked about that, I think I’m the only one who has really put thought in the future after the events of my rewrite, considering I’m kinda the only one who finished writing mine 😅 kinda because I speed run the process

Btw there is a villain transformation song in the place of "This is the Thanks I Get?!" for Mag and Amaya's descent into villainy, BUT I also have a "solo" song for both of them. They both sing with Asha, but primarily them. Magnus's "solo" song has already been shown in "A Wish Worth Making," but Amaya's "solo" song happens during her villain era... and let's say the Underworld Saga gave me a LOT of inspiration

Chipping away at stuff slowly but surely- so much I want to draw and write, but so little time-

I wanted to play around with my Asha’s dress design a bit more, and since I love a character’s outfit changing throughout the story I started putting some concepts together.

First one was a more royal/formal dress for her to wear as the princess of Rosas, and for when she’s still in favor of Magnifico and Amaya. For the second one, I then wanted to return to designing my own spin on her canon dress. It’s something casual and comfy that she wears outside of her royal duties and especially when she goes to visit her Saba.

The tweaks I made were mostly in hopes to make it look like the second dress could then turn into the third dress- which Najm magics up for her when they team up.

I’d like to make a fourth and final dress that would be her “ending dress”- but I’d like to play around with Najm’s outfit a bit more first since I want their outfits to share certain details and look like they go together.

Small details I was thinking about when designing? The bell Asha wears on her belt- I like to think it was one of the old bell’s that Valentino’s mom wore and she just took one because she’s sentimental <3 Her third dress has a few extra bells on it because Najm jingles when they talk and move, and I like the idea that Asha also has a jingle of her own. I just think it’s cute.

So the next chapter has “I’m a Star” in it and I? Really really changed it? Like mainly only kept the beat? Because I want to accomplish something different in my rewrite and so instead of “we’re all made of stardust” I changed it to a message like “this is how to make your wish come true” and… just warning, it’s really really different

Amaya is very kind and empathetic. Magnus is charismatic and confident, but Amaya is someone like them. She grew up in a common town, after all. She had to learn how to haggle prices, sew, cook, hunt…

Amaya is peaceful, not harmless. There’s a difference
