Moataz @moatazart, Mariam, and baby Maria are set to make the dangerous journey from Gaza City in the north to Rafah in the south. From there, God willing, they will enter Egypt.

HOWEVER, the money they had allocated to procure shelter and food while in Egypt was utterly depleted by exploitative fees and hidden costs, which we break down in this post. Moataz speaks more on the situation in this post and on his own blog @moatazart, which we ask people to follow and boost. They have a fund going to raise the remaining money, but the fund only has a week and a half left before it closes! They are not even halfway to their goal!

Please share what you can with Moataz’s family so they can find safety and security in Egypt! They have no one in Egypt with whom they can stay and currently nowhere near enough money to secure shelter! After all they have survived, please don’t let this young family be left vulnerable! If they cannot procure food and shelter, they will be extremely vulnerable not only to the dangers of homelessness, but to groups and individuals who prey on refugees!

Safety for Gazan refugees does not end with leaving Gaza! If this campaign is not finished in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS, they will be homeless in Egypt! They are so close to a fresh start, please don’t let all the risks they are taking to find safety be for nothing!

May I ask what insects in particular inspired your Tur-bug design? I'm seeing a little bit of wasp aspects, like the og, but I was wondering if there was anything else?

There's definitely some wasp in there, you're right anon! Turbo's legs in particular were very wasp/ant inspired. Although his antennae were ripped off the wasps more!

I wanted to imitate how thin and gangly bug legs seem to be in comparison to their body? And how they always look like they're standing on their tippy toes when they walk around? Idk if that makes any sense..

There was also some mosquito action going on! I know an inordinate amount of info on mosquitoes because of an art project i had to do a while back, including their anatomy! So I had to use all that info somewhere.

[Transcript: Please don't scroll if you want to help a family in Gaza. Hey everyone, this is Haya Orouq, I am 18 years old from Gaza City. Today is the 167th day of the war in Gaza City. And through this war we lost our house, my university was bombed. My whole childhood neighborhood area was completely damaged. We have been displaced to three different places in search of a safer place but unfortunately there's no safer place in Gaza. Everywhere there's bombing, everywhere is dangerous, so we are now displaced in Deir al-Balah. And me and my family lost everything, we have nothing left here in Gaza.

And my mom is very sick also, she is suffering from Lupus and because she has Lupus, she is a kidney failure patient in need of an urgent treatment and care outside of Gaza. The hospitals here is so poor and bad and the quality of her treatment is getting worse and worse because the quality of the hospitals is bad, because of the conditions of the war. So please guys, help my family, we deserve to- we deserve a decent life, we deserve to start a new beginning and deserve a new life.

Throwing this at you bc it's been running in my head for a while:

Technically if Felix is trying to prove himself a villain... Wouldn't that mean he would try his best to cause chaos between the games and in turn NEED TURB0 of all people to help him in his journey? (Ex: kidnapping Vanellope, purposely try to break important code, ect) and Ralph tries to help Felix like the good guy he is?

YOU'RE RIGHT ON THE MONEY ADAM ME PAL!!!

During Felix' rampage, he does in fact, run around a bunch to try and find the ultimate way to prove himself as a genuine villain. Meanwhile, he is still pushing Ralph away and refusing to listen to him (but Ralph still gets his screen time with his own adventures with Vanelloppe, dw dw)

He first goes to Vanellope's Sugar Blast, and then to Calhoun's game (from which he somehow hijacks a vehicle and accidentally careens his way all over the Game Central Stations, PLURAL)

Eventually, he somehow finds himself smack bam in the middle of Mid Cross Station I. Which- if you can recall- is one of the two abandoned/unused surge protectors!

Mid Cross Station I is where Turbo has been stuck in what was basically solitary confinement since his incident with Road Blaster, and almost 30 years of isolation can really put things into perspective! He's thought things through and worked things out, so he is going through his ✨️redemption arc. EXCEPT that Felix sees him and thinks "holy pixels, this is PERFECT. Turbo is basically The Villain (tm) of the story, he's the ultimate guy to help me prove that I'm a real villain".

So off he drags Turbo off to wreck havoc until Shit Hits The Fan during the climax and Turbo and the others has to convince Felix not to accidentally kill everyone. Bing bang boom, that's the basic gist of the story, me thinks.

He is my silly goofy retired ex-villain who's had almost 30 years of isolation to think stuff over and is now just tired and wants to get this goshdang redemption arc over with.

Spoiler alert: he gets his ass unwillingly dragged back to villainy by his crazy old best friend's (cough- *Felix* - cough cough) insane scheme to prove himself as a "real" villain, SIKE
