The whole situation in Wano settled down. With Kaido being defeated by Luffy, and his subordinates being captured and thrown into prison. Wano had become the prosperous kingdom it was before the tragedy. Everyone is allowed to enjoy their day without being restricted by any rules implemented during Kaido's ruling. So here you are with Hiyori and Yamato wandering around the capital to pass the time. As you are walking, you couldn't help but remember the moment you came across King, the subordinate of Kaido. Thinking back on how your ring finger had tingled right when you saw him. You felt weird thinking back about it as you recalled your grandma's story about the red string of fate which will be experienced by two soulmates. You laughed at the thought, there was no way your soulmate was going to be King. As a matter of fact, it will be impossible considering you're a Straw Hat member thus, such relationship with King will only cause dispute to arise.

Being pulled back into reality, you noticed a man spying on you from one of the alleyways. You grabbed tightly onto your knives, while ensuring not to alert Hiyori and Yamato so as to not cause panic. You dismissed yourself from them and cautiously followed the man. Upon realizing your presence, the man seems to quicken his step and ran into a secluded garden. You almost didn't get to catch up to his pace but thanks to your knives, you were able to halt his movement. The man stopped running due to shock after your knives were thrown to the ground blocking his way. You looked closely and that's when you saw him. King. The man in front of you. "Why...why are you still here? I thought all of you had been taken to the prison?", you asked nervously. "I got lucky and fled myself before they could catch me," King looked to the ground. "Why are you spying on us? Are you trying to hurt Hiyori-san?", you suspected him of having ill-intention towards Hiyori considering his brother is now the new ruler of Wano. "Silly, it's not because of that...," he retorted, "It is you I was spying on." You were about to attack him when he suddenly grabbed your hand. "Don't you... don't you feel the presence of the red string of fate on your ring finger the first time we met?", he looked you in the eye. Hoping to get the expected response from you.

"Now that I think of it.. I did feel a tingling sensation there. Regardless, why would you wanna know about it?", you still in a state of alertness, preparing for his next move. He sighed and engulfed you in a comforting hug. Then and there he spilled about the story of the red string of fate, and how he witnessed it with his own eyes upon meeting you for the first time. You don't know why, but listening to his confession made you want to believe his words. Truth be told, after some consideration, you do wanna get to know him more. If he indeed was your soulmate. However, realizing the situation going on in Wano right now, you were unsure whether introducing him to the Straw Hats would be a good decision. You sighed and decided to give him a chance, reminding him that you only have 2 days left before leaving Wano.

On the first day,

King and you met at the same garden as before. King reasoned that it is best to get to know each other in a peaceful environment like this. You could still feel the awkwardness going on between you and King. It was understandable though, considering he was your enemy during the battle in Onigashima. Thus, the tension may still be there between you two.

Despite that, King tried to break the tension by asking you questions about yourself; wanting to get to know you better. Not only that, but he also shared some details about himself, such as how particular he is about certain foods. And his favorite things to do in his free time. By the end of the day-one, both of you had known pretty much everything about one another. You could say that you enjoyed spending time with him. Though it was boring at first, but you managed to find an activity or two to enjoy together; fishing at the nearby lake and painting.

On the second day,

You couldn't help but feel excited while getting ready. Opting from a Kimono to a midi sundress.

King was waiting at the same garden, seating on a bench. He turned his gaze towards his right upon feeling someone walking closer to him. He was astonished after looking at you; 'how beautiful,' he thought. You cleared your throat after feeling his intense gaze on you too long for your comfort, you walked closer to him and interlocking your fingers with his; leading him to the next destination while your face displayed the obvious blush.

Now here you are at the capital, enjoying the lively environment there. In which, Wano citizens are still celebrating to welcome their beloved ruler from the Kozuki clan. Thus, there are still many booths in the capital; selling a variety of foods and promoting fun games there. You could sense King becoming a little bit jittery, and realizing this made you come closer to him and whispering comforting words like, "Calm down, they won't notice as long as you keep the mask on," and "It's okay, I'm here so no one will be suspicious of you." Hearing your words really works wonders on his racing heart, he was thankful that you didn't blow his cover and just comforted him as well as you could.

With him feeling less anxious, you just smiled at him and guided him through the booths. Enjoying the plethora of foods and games there. Laughing to your heart's content, forgetting about the worries both of you had just experienced.

By the end of the day, both of you shared a kiss under the firework's display. With people all around you cheering joyfully.

Packing your belongings, you were getting ready to sail back to the sea with the Straw Hats after having been in Wano for quite a while. You were walking to the ship to assist the crew with the boxes and stuff. Once finished and about to return to the castle, you heard Luffy calling out your name, "Y/N, wait." You don't know why but you could feel your heart running miles, feeling nervous for some reason. "I know you have been seeing someone for the past 2 days," Luffy said while looking at the sea. You suddenly felt tears streaming down your cheeks, while profusely apologizing and promising to not do such thing again. You stopped upon hearing Luffy's laugh, "Why are you sorry? I didn't say I want to reprimand you for that. I just want to make sure whether you are serious with him or not."

You couldn't believe yourself whether you hadn't really been hearing things. You looked at Luffy in disbelief, "Are you for real, Luffy?" Luffy just smiled and came closer to pat your shoulders, "Yes I am. Thus, I'm giving you options whether you want to stay in Wano with him. Or you want to continue your journey with us but leave him behind without knowing what will happen to him due to the isolated area of Wano."

to new readers: reina and mona are ocs i’ve mentioned before as popular! reader’s lackeys. darling is your yan! ex’s new “girlfriend” who actually likes you more. midnight darling is the title of the “comic” my college based yans are from.

Reina Liwanag was your dog in every sense of the word. The golden retriever to Mona’s black cat. Many insulted her intelligence and lack of agency in the face of your will but they could not deny her insurmountable loyalty towards you. No one knows much about her family, it is speculated that she comes from a rather impoverished background. But nonetheless, she is able to mingle with the greatest elites of your college, courtesy of being your lackey.

And like many dogs in the world, Reina also had a more feral, animalistic side to her. One that craved violence. Mostly for those that crossed you but at times it just appears whenever you bring someone new around.

She should be used to this kind of thing from you. Your sexual appetite was what launched you into the eyes of the students and faculty here.

Still, repetition do not always beget tolerance.

“Hey you,” The brunette approached Darling. The usual blinding smile on her face.

Reina was first and foremost your lackey due to her looks. If it weren’t for you outshining her in every aspect, you knew she had the potential to be the cream of the crop. That was why you befriended her in the first place. Prevention was always better than the cure.

In fact her presence was so loud people usually notice her from miles away. Such is the case with Darling who’d been minding her own business this lunch break until your guard dog had caught her eyes. “O-Oh, Reina! Lovely to see you here. How may I help you?”

The other reason Reina was picked to become your right hand woman was due to her strength. An athlete she aspired to be. Her gym was basically her home and there she spent most of her time after you dismiss her of course. She had the capability to easily snap the necks of the student body.

With that being said, Reina does not flex her muscular arms, or slam her palms towards a surface to make a point. She just says a few words,

“You should just drop dead.”

And left. Simple as that. She does not look at Darling’s reaction nor say or do anything further.

Mona then appeared from behind, not at all shocked at her companion’s actions. She knew of Reina’s brutal behavior the most out of everyone. Sure, Mona ruined social lives on a daily but she didn’t actively or directly took them away.

“If [Y/N] finds out about this—“

Reina paused in her steps, she does not turn around to face her so called friend but Mona could just imagine that same-old stiff smile she always gave after getting rid of ‘competition’ for her owner’s love, and those void-like eyes that siphoned the hope from her victims.

“She won’t.”

"i have the camera now, we're going for food." mark walked next to her. "you won't be cold right?" he pointed at her skirt. "no i have tights on." she fixed her hat.

they made their way to the lobby , sitting down. "today everyone nct dream where are we right now?" haechan asked. "washington d.c."

"we're at the capital of the United states, washington d.c , it's our first time here , so the seven of us will have a very simple brunch together." she turned to mark. he shook his head and she shrugged, letting them argue amongst themselves.

"what does brunch really mean?" jeno asked as they walked out , she laughed. "it's just breakfast and lunch put together, basically when it's too late for it to be breakfast but too early for it to be lunch." he nodded understandly. "don't think too much about it."

they made it to the restaurant, sitting down to order their food. "it's a lot of stuff." she spoke to the camera. "they're ordering everything off the menu." she laughed. "ciara." mark called. "bacon?" she nodded. "oh wait i want a cocktail." she said, reaching over handing the guy her id.

"luckily i can still drink while in the states." she said. "i barely make the cut off." jaemin laughed. "you like to drink that much?" she shook her head. "don't say it like that."

the topic of christmas was brought up. "i prepared gifts for you guys too, i just need to wrap them." she smiled. "what is it?" jisung asked. "i got you all different things , im so excited to give them to you guys." they all smiled watching her eyes light up. "i've never seen someone so excited about christmas like this."

the guy bought over their drinks sitting down her cocktails. "thank you." she took a sip , listening to the owner talk about the history of the restaurant.

they finally got all their food pass out to them. "it's good." she took a bite.

"im stuffed." she huffed , sitting back in her seat, picking up her cocktail. "don't drink too much."

"as you take a shot of tequila." she scoffed. "but you can't handle alcohol." haechan said. "yes i can." they all turned to her. "let's not have this conversation on camera." she said. "because we're right?"

"i almost cursed."

she watched them pass around the shot of tequila until it got to her. "do i have to?" she asked. "it's for friendship." haechan said. "you called me a coworker yesterday." she said. "eh, you know i didnt mean it."

"did you drink a lot, maybe you shouldn't." mark said, she took a sip anyway , her mouth curling in disgust as the liquor burned her throat. "that is—" she coughed. "awful."

she passed the drink to jaemin. "you okay?" jeno asked , she nodded. "no more okay?"

"let's take a picture." haechan said , pulling out his phone , giving it to a staff. "let's go for something cute." they all put their fingers on their lips.

"we're in public doing this." she said , waiting for them to snap the photo. "im so embarrased."

But it seems you upset the owner, or bloody queen was just especially pissed off today and couldn’t handle the fact there was only 2 chiphers left.

So neither or you guys really expect it when she impales you.

What was born from confusion turns quickly into pain, as she only jabs the shard of glass deeper into your stomach. Pulling a scream from your mouth that only shakes the ground and pierces the air.

There’s nothing you can do but bleed out onto the snowy floors of Leo’s Memory and pray to whatever god there is to put you out of your misery.

He was in the match with you, and as much as he’d like to help you he understood that you were more than capable or defending yourself

Oh how he wish he could be right.

It happened while he was decoding, usually something he isn’t doing to be completely honest. In most matches, he’s either going off to save someone, or being targeted for the 3rd time today.

Your scream none the less catches him off guard, and he immediately thinks that you’ve just been terror shocked. So he’s not super duper completely insanely worried, but yeah he’s scarred and fucks up his collaboration.

But it doesn’t matter cause he’s already moving to your direction.

It just confuses him why the Hunter hasn’t picked you up yet, especially when he’s running half way across the map. Shouldn’t you at least be ballooned right now? Or maybe someone’s distracting the Hunter. Or maybe-

Or maybe your just lying a little more still then he would like you to be right now.

Your deathly unmotionless body is what he noticed first, quickly followed by the ever growing pool of blood that your body is seemingly drowning in.

“Oh shit, y/n?” He mumbled, quickly dropping onto his knees and flipping your body over. Your eyes slowly flicker to light as you stare at the Mercenary.

“Hey, um,,,,” is all you can mutter out without tears dripping down your face from the unfathomable pain the queens blade of glass has left you. All Naib can do is stare at you in utter shock and horror, but quickly snapping out of it and gets to work. Trying to push down the ever flow of tears pooling in his eyes, and the running mess his nose is making.

Naib starts taking off his jacket while sprouting phrases among the lines of “Your going to be okay” and “We’ll get you to Emily as soon as this match is over”. Your not to sure whether he’s saying these for your comfort, or for his.

But you slowly fade in and out of consciousness, the only thing you can say before everything goes dark is a small I love you Naib before the curtains close.

The brown haired man picks you up bridal style, but it’s no use. There’s no light behind your eyes anymore, as they remain open and lifeless. You body has gone limp in his arms that it takes him a few minutes to realize what just happened.

Naib has been in this game for far too long now to know that no one can ever escape the clawing hands of death himself. He only fears that something worse might lie beyond these wretched games, that the baron has deemed you unfit for this level of hell.

He only wishes that what awaits for you is some got damn rest.

The smell of freshly brewed coffee greeted Niki. His eyes glance around the small café despite the fact that he knew this place by heart. The green plants that have been there since he came to Korea and the owner’s cat that lounges in the sun. It felt like a home away from home.

“Hey there Niki! The usuals?” Myung, the barista that normally serves him, greets him with a small smile. “Yeah, the usuals.” He walked over to the counter. “So how’s the idol life?” Myung makes conversation while putting in the order. “Pretty nice, though practice can getting tiring.” Myung just laughs saying something about how Enhypen is practically keeping them in business.

Niki can hear the door open and the bell ring, but chooses to ignore it in favor of using Jay’s card to pay for the coffee. “Hey there Y/N! I’ll be with you in just a moment!” Myung’s bright smile lights up the entire room. Niki glanced towards you before moving his eyes back to Myung. “Who’s that?” Myung glances up from the register and Niki is sure that his eyes sparkle at the thought of you. “Y/N’s a regular just like you! She comes in everyday to study and to say hi!”

Niki doesn’t respond but instead just takes small glances at you while Myung is busy making the drinks. “Alright! Here you go, see you tomorrow Niki!” Niki’s snapped out of his trance by Myung and his bright smile. Stuttering out a thank you, he grabs the drinks and practically sprints out of the café.

Today, November 30th, was Enhypen’s Seoul fan meet before heading into tour. They had been in the building since 5am. Niki’s eyes were drooping down. “Wake up Niki. It’s about time for the fan meet to start.” Jungwon’s voice woke him up. Niki didn’t respond, still thinking about the cute girl in the café.

He finally snapped out his trance when Enha’s manager came over to collect the boys. He followed his hyung’s to the long table where they sat in age order. He conversed with engene’s while sighing their albums. Smiling brightly, he waited for the next person.

His eyes widen when he sees the cute girl from the café sit in front of him. He stutters out a hello arm asks who your bias is. His cheeks burning a bright red when you say it’s him. Signing your album, he decides to leave a small heart next to your name.

“Soooo Niki….who was that cutie at the end who said you were her bias?” Sunoo’s voice surprises the other six. “What are you talking about Sun?” Jay’s voice is the next to echo throughout the dressing room. “The girl towards the end who made Niki blush like no other.” The other six practically scream at the news. Growing up an Anoa’i I’ve seen so many fans butcher our family lineage and our history… I’ve never found it a priority to fix their ideas of who we are, as long as our family knew what’s right that’s all that mattered.

But seeing this today made me proud, and it made me think back to our humble beginnings as a family from Samoa, who migrated to America with a calling that one would never think could ever lead to the wrestling ring.

My great grandparents, the late Tama Toeaina Anoa’i Amituana’i & Tina Toeaina Tovaleomanaia Ripley Anoa’i Amituana’i migrated to San Francisco 4 generations ago as founding pastors to the First Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa in San Francisco, CA that still stands today at 260 Sagamore St, San Francisco.

Their children and grandchildren raised in San Francisco, as the Pastor’s kids. Tending to the duties of the ministry and strengthening our Samoan community through the church.

Here we are today, as their Grandson @romanreigns & Great Grandson @uceyjucey are headlining as the main event at @wwe Summerslam. Look how far we’ve come..

Anoa’i was once a household name in the Samoan community because of the ministry, now it is a household name worldwide because of the strength of the bloodline. This a beautiful legacy, traced back to two beautiful legends who were called to serve as faifeau and faletua over EFKAS San Francisco. This is our family, our history, our present and our future.

Our name carries a rich history, filled with beautiful stories, rooted in love, faith, family and in San Francisco by way of the villages of Fagatogo, Leone, Malaeloa, Lepa & more..
