Imagine…you meeting the pillars for the first time💕. (pt.8)
No.8 : Himejima Gyomei
Synopsis : You were sauntering around the town,just finding things you need or maybe you got bored and wanted to stroll a little (orrrrr,it can be anything else~I’ll let you decide/choose to why are you here •~•),but then again…something unexpected is bound to happen…
(Y/n) was just strolling around the town,when she heard some noises that somehow managed to catch her attention…
It was a sound of crying…Someone’s crying…
‘What is it?This sound…looks like someone’s crying…maybe a child gets lost with his/her mother?But the sound’s…definitely not someone who’s young…’ Her mind is racing with thoughts that she cannot help but take a look of where the noise’s coming from out of her pure curiosity…
She quickly whipped her head to the direction where the sound’s coming from,and she had to stop in her tracks the moment she saw the source of that crying sound…
It was a man…full-grown man…he was sitting on the ground,crying-no offend though!But just…um…how do I explained this???…He was crying…and praying (?) in front of a mother with her child by her side…
You blinked several times…confused to why is he crying and welp-um…To be honest,he doesn’t look like someone who’ll get close to tears easily…Damn-just look at his well-built body!
But still…here he is…crying and praying over something that you (tbh-everybody there) couldn’t quite understand what it is… -_-
He still didn’t noticed that his actions have caught lots,lots of attention of the people who’s nearby…so you being you…just couldn’t stop yourself from going in and help fixed this situation…
(Y/n) : “Um…hello?” *You speak carefully as you grabbed him gently by the shoulder… And he flinched by your touch…*
He slowly turn his head to you,and that when you see that he’s blind…You instantly felt bad about the thoughts you have for him earlier…The mother quickly seized this chance,she grabbed her child’s hand and run away from him…
‘That’s quite unfriendly…’ You narrowed your eyes disapprovingly after them,when you look down again you could clearly see more tears brimming in his eyes,you were even more confused…but you let it go,then you help pulled him up from the ground-he’s quite heavy,you gotta admitted,but still,whatever-
Gyomei : “Thank you and…yes?Do you need something?” *His voice is smooth and deep,but there’s kindness and gentleness laced in his voice…which just make you feel even more guilty…*
(Y/n) : “Oh…I just saw you…um crying,no offend!But…I just…wanna come and ask if you’re alright…” *You trailed of in your last part… ‘He must have a bad day’ You thought sympathetically… You eyes is filled with worry as you look down at him*
And he just…crying even harder???You were just getting helpless and helpless as you don’t know the reason to why he’s crying… ‘Did I just say something wrong?Did I make him feel even worse?What should I do????’ You were so confused and flustered,no doubt-
Gyomei : “I just-…” *He manage to choke his words out,his voice’s shaky,and you waited for his answer in anticipation…* “I just feel so delighted to witness the situation that how pure of a mother’s love could have for her child…”
Ok…you were shocked… Like, ‘What did you just say?’ kind of thing ya’know?
(Y/n) : “So…you were crying because of that?” *You chose your words carefully,afraid that you might make him cry even more…*
And he just nodded stiffly😬…
(Y/n) : “Ah ha ha…I…kinda (?) get it now…” *You laughed nervously,and he just blinked…*
Gyomei : “You do?” *He ask,disbelief (well-you couldn’t believe him too but,just…um,forget that-) *
(Y/n) : “Uh-Huh!Of course!Why wouldn’t I” *Ok,here me out-though you still couldn’t quite grasp why is he crying,you still understand that everyone’s different and he has own reason to be crying about something*
Gyomei : *He sighed in relief* “I’m glad,a lot of people told me that they can’t understand why I’m always crying,I’m glad I met you” *He smiled gently at you,and you smiled back,a little blushed tinted your face ‘H-how can he compliment people with a straight face!?’ You wondered…Your eyes roam to everywhere but his eyes* (Not to mention that more tears just flowed out of his eyes like a waterfall…He just be really glad he finally found someone who understand him👀*
(Y/n) : “Well,I’m glad I met you too…and um…May I ask your name please?If you don’t mind…” *You started nervously,though you’ve just met him,you know that you wanted to talk and know more about him…*
Gyomei : “Of course,my name’s Himejima Gyomei,and you?May I also ask who might you be?” *He laughed airily,and you beamed even more (so do your blush~✨)*
(Y/n) : “Oh my name’s (L/n) (Y/n)!Nice to meet you Himejima-san-” *Your hand was outstretched,offering him a handshake,but that’s when the realization hit you, ‘Himejima Gyomei’…you know that name…He is a Stone Pillar!!!! O-O Although you haven’t met him before,but you’ve heard about the pillars and respected them with all your heart…*
You quickly bowed at him, “Please forgive me sir!I didn’t know that it was you!” *You squeeze your eyes shut in fear of what would happen next,but you must be surprised of his reaction…*
He just move you back to your original position,before saying, “There’s no ‘sir’ or other formalities here,please just called me ‘Gyomei’,you’ve helped me a lot and I’m grateful for it”
And It seems that the two of you just forget that there was a whole crowd still watching and peering nosily at the the two of you…the instant they heard he was a pillar,they all quickly repeat your actions earlier and bowed down at him…
Gyomei sighed tiredly, “Should we go to another place now?People are watching us…” and you nodded, “Then let’s just go” You answered quickly as you grabbed his hand and run away from people…
He was surprised,but didn’t protest or do anything to stop you-he just let you drag him along with you (Such a good boi ;^;) ok,maybe he tightened his hold around you a little with a light flushed pink face👀
At last…you two have arrived to a quiet park with little people in there…
Gyomei : “You really didn’t have to hold my hand you know…” *He finally state as you two let yourself drop on a bench*
That’s when you realized what you’ve done,you quickly let go of his hand,you eyes wide as you scrambled to find some good and reasonable explanations to him…Your face is deep red now as you (again) tried to avoid his eyes (even though he’s blind,which you’re somehow grateful bc he couldn’t see just how red you are)
(Y/n) : “Oh I’m so sorry!I’m just so lost and don’t what to do that!…so I…um…uh…I-” *You quickly looked around,trying to find a way to get you out of this situation-*
Gyomei : “But I don’t really mind it…no worries…” *He cut you off,and you swear you heard him chuckle a bit at your flustered and embarrassed state…Your felt cheeks getting redder and redder as your body felt hot* (YoU DiDn’T LoOk Up To SeE HiS ReD FaCe-)
You cannot do anything else except looked down in your lap ( Why?simple-‘cause you were too embarrassed and you’re so red lol-) as you try to calm yourself down… o~o
Gyomei : “Do you-perhaps…want to get something to eat later?” *He glanced sideway at you carefully,you can clearly see…that he’s also trying to hide his blushed,and you just blinked at him…*
(Y/n) : “Huh?You mean…go with you?…” *You slowly ask,you felt your body rushed with excitement-(do I need to mention how red you are again?I think not lol😂)…and he nodded anxiously…* “Sure…” *You shyly smiled and his face lit up almost immediately-*
Gyomei : “Really?I’m so so glad-” *Andddd,he starts crying again…. 😑 (Hey~At least he’s cute looking like that!Plus you got the privilege to wipe the tears off his tinted red cheeks in the process of pacifying him!He also found your voice’s very soothing and your presence’s very comforting which makes him calm down a lot easier!💓) So you need to help him calm down one more time so he’ll not caught anymore attention once again…After that (once he’s calm down) you go and have some nice meal with him and also have some amazing and memorable time with him too…*
And this is just the first chapter of your little story with him…

Ooh~you guys also hold hands too!He just found a great excuses bc there are so many people there and you or him might get lost easily~That’s a good and reasonable reasons to why you two should hold hands!And ofc-our dear (y/n) fall for it❣️So you guys just hold hands and act like a real couple for the rest of the day~ (It was so cute🥺Not gonna lie-)
Not to mention to how sweaty and red you two were when you hold each other’s hand~👀Both your hearts were pondering so hard that you guys might faint! (Shinobu!There’s two people who alsmost faint-) At last,the night ended with you two go watching the fire works,it was so late already that after some time’s you fall asleep on his shoulder… (you were sitting on some benches)
He didn’t move or do anything though,he just let you fall asleep while petting your hair gently and carefully (such a gentleman~) he pressed a light kiss at the top of your head while mumbling something like ‘Sweet dreams (y/n)…’ yeah,something like that
Gyomei also put you on his back when the fireworks show ended and piggyback ride you back to your home safely…Just like that…

6. Favorite book
My favourite book... that's always a difficult question for me to answer. Of course, I'll always favour manga, and my favourites from that would have to be either Demon Slayer or Tokyo Ghoul. In terms of novels, I really enjoyed the series 'The Medoran Chronicles' (I hope that's how you spell it), the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and the War of the World's are excellent classics, and Love, Simon will always have a special place in my heart.
21. Favorite ice cream flavor?
Hmmm... again, I can very rarely give a definite answer. I must say, I always favour strawberry and salted caramel. I absolutely love ice cream, and traveling with my family on the holidays and getting to visit a bunch of icecreameries and try new flavours is a highlight!

Imagine...you meeting the pillars for the first time💕. (pt.6)
No.6 : Shinazugawa Sanemi
Synopsis : You were just training alone as usual.But you didn’t expect for someone to watch you train...You were so preoccupied with your training that you didn’t notice that someone was watching you...Until,you heard a shout coming from that person... “You’re doing it wrong!” You flinched before you whipped your head towards that direction and freeze for a moment...He was a man...Tall...Muscular...And he has scars all over his body.You narrowed your eyes as you’re lowering your sword,he stalked towards you while muttering some curses or insults which you cannot comprehend due to how quiet it was. “Has nobody taught you to use sword before?Dumbass!?” He speak in his grouchy tone. “None of your business.” You shot back as you turn to look straight ahead as you were before. “What did you just say!?” He bellowed. “I said that it was none of your business,you’ve nothing to do with me.Now if you’ve got nothing to say anymore,please keep your insults to yourself and leave me alone so I can go back to my training” You retorted back,thinking that maybe if you can annoyed him...He would just go away...But his response surprised you.“Ha!I won’t let the demon slayer corps have someone like you who can’t even use the sword correctly!Let me teach you how to do it!” and...what’s next?
Sanemi : “Look at you!You’re doing it wrong just be your posture!How could you expect to wield a sword if you can’t even do the posture!You stupid!” *He shouted right in your ear, “Rude...” You thought.* “No!Not like that!Idiot!”
(Y/n) : “Then how should I do it!?I can’t know how to do it if you don’t teach me!” *You raised your voice,anger was surging through you*
Sanemi : “Tch!You can’t even figure that out yourself!?You have a brain for what!?Huh!?” *He yelled at you,and you were annoyed*
(Y/n) : “I guess I have brain for some stupid reasons and if you don’t want to teach me then go,I’ll just find someone else-” *You tried to get rid of him,but he cut you off...*
Sanemi : “I said that I’ll do it!Damn you!Let me show you how to do it!”
*He suddenly move to stand behind you,grabbing both your hands that were on the hilt of the blade.Use his legs to move yours to the right posture.He was just so closed to you that you can hear his hot and heavy breathing on your neck,it sends shiver down your spine,his front was flushed against your back.His arms were wrapped around you to keep you in place.He was mumbling something that you couldn’t grasp what he meant...Because you were focused on the heat that was radiating from his body to yours.And then,he pulled your hands on the hilt up above both your heads before swing it down in the pattern that he deems right*
Sanemi : “That’s how to do it...”
*He whispers beside your ear,his voice was rough and husky.But you didn’t care...your face was flushed red as you slowly turn your head to look at him,both your eyes met in the intense contact.His face was also a little red due to the closeness you two were in now.Your faces were just inches apart!But that’s before you both turn to the other side and Sanemi’s released you from his arms quite quickly before clearing his throat,still red and turn away.Embarrassment was clear on both your face as you also tried to avert your eyes.*
Sanemi : “So...um...you get it now?” *He’s the first one to broke the silence,and you answered...*
(Y/n) : “Yes,thank you...” *You replied shyly...You both were still shy and embarrassed so it make the situation a little more awkward and complicated- (Just some cute and fluffy moment!😂🥰❤️)*
Sanemi : “I...can teach you a bit more if you’d like...um...to train with me...” *Hm...it’s quite rare for him to offer some special training with someone...interesting...*
(Y/n) : “Oh...uh...sure?Why not?” *You’re still avoided his eyes,but you meant every word that you’ve said*
Sanemi : “Really?” *He’s struggling to keep his voice calm and steady and also tried to stay composed and reserved...but from the red that was still tinted his face,give away that he was also still flustered and embarrassed about what had happened...*
(Y/n) : *You could only nodded,before asking him...* “Oh!I still didn’t know your name yet!So,um...What’s your name?”
Sanemi : “Shinazugawa Sanemi....” *He replied....*
(Y/n) : *This is the first time after the scene that you began to looked at him once again...but this time...you smiled...* “Pretty name...I’m (l/n) (y/n)....”
Sanemi : *He froze on his spot the moment he saw your lips curling up into a smile as he stared at you for a moment...it’s just like the has stopped...,his face was blushing 2 folds now...He wanted to stay like this forever....but he knows he couldn’t...* “I..-uh...whatever dumbass!Let’s get to training already!” *This time it was him who have to avoided your eyes,you tilted your head at him curiously....before nodded happily,maybe training with him wasn’t as bad as you thought after all...*

Synopsis : You were doing your mission as a demon slayer…which is slaying demons…But there was something-ah no,some unexpected people that you’re bound to meet on that dark day which when the moonlight shone down and the stars were glittering across the black sky…
You were just doing your mission-which is slaying demons as usual.It was raining-hard.And you were standing face to face with a demon you’ve been sent to slew…you were standing all alone in this dark forest with a demon…
You’re panting tiredly…why?Well-if it wasn’t for the battle you had earlier with this hideous creature in front of you who gave these nasty little wounds to you…
You got hurt by some bruises,scratches-but the most hurtful one,was the wide wound on your lower stomach…It draws some blood-you didn’t really care about the blood,but what you care is well,damn-yes,you must admitted that it did hurt much more than you thought…It feels like you were in a slow-but painful torture as the time passed by and as more blood dripped…
Even the demon,was also panting slightly-though you know this wouldn’t last much longer.Its eyes-disgusting eyes,were fixed intently on your fatigued frame…
Its expression look suspicious as if its mind was calculating and guessing your next movement…not to mention that its eyes were also stared intensely-hungrily on your open wound…As if it’s getting more and more desperate to finally savour your flesh and blood…You glared back at it…
Then,you take a quick glance at the night sky,you find it almost impossible to keep your eyes open out of all the exhaustion you felt-It was still dark,which means you still have time…The white-silver moon…shone brightly through this black sky and through the curtains of shadowy clouds along with little pieces of glittering lights called stars…
Though the light wasn’t that much but it still at least-allowed you to see things,which only that is more than enough for you.
When you blinked down to this wretched being again…Its eyes still never leaving you as it hissed and lunged toward you.
In return,you gripped your blade tighter-ready to counterattack as you raised your arms above your head to sliced this demon’s neck.Using (your choice of breathing) breathing style.
The demon snarled widely with its sharp claws ready-dying to finally taste you-and you found yourself holding your breath….
But just as you’re about to swing your blade,the demon’s head has fallen to your feet making you froze for a moment… ‘What did just happen?-but I still didn’t do anything!’ You thought,confused and suspicious-but also,amazed and surprised at the same time.
You could do nothing but blinked several time,puzzled at the the demon’s head between your own feet which start to slowly disintegrate into ashes…
Then suddenly,you heard voices calling in front of you…you quickly shot your head to the owner of the voice all the while-raised your blade threateningly at that person,full on guard if this person happened to be another demon…
Turns out-he was a boy…around your age,his hair and eyes are red…and he wears a checkerboard pattern haori…he also have a quite big wooden box on his back…making you wondered what he was carrying…you observed him silently as you narrowed your eyes at him suspiciously….
“Who are you?” You began carefully,he seems stunned and helpless by your threatened movements as he put both his hands up in defense…that’s when you noticed that he also wears the demon slayer uniform and in his right hand-was a black nichirin blade…that was what make you sheath your sword back into your scabbard…but-you still eyed him suspiciously…ready to knocked him out if he did anything bad…
“I-I’m!um-I’m Kamado Tanjiro from the demon slayer corps!Mizunoto rank!” He answered staunchly while also sheathed his blade back…and your blinked one more time before you start to introduce yourself back, “My name’s (l/n) (y/n),I’m also in the demon slayer corps. (Your rank) rank.” You tell him flatly,he nodded before asked you, “Are you alright?”
There was silent going between you for a while,rain was still falling hard from the sky and as it made contact with your skin…you think you’ve got more torture from the cold and wet feelings…but still,you nodded stiffly back at him
“I’m fine…and thank you for saving me from that demon…” you managed out,though you know fully well that you can handle it yourself.
“Are you sure?…” he asked again,and you forced a small smile to convinced him that you’re fine…even though it hurts like hell…. “I’m alright,maybe you should go back and rest….since it’s already very late.Please don’t worry about me,I can take care of myself…” You tried to controlled your voice to be as normal as you can…but you still didn’t know that even if you don’t speak,he can smell it out by himself…
And as he was scanning your form….his eyes had met with the open wound on your lower stomach…that’s when he know you’re not ok,and he can’t just let you go like this.What if you got hurt more?
You can read his worry expression…so you said, “Oh no-I know what you’re thinking.But like I told you I can take care of myself and more importantly,I’m fine-” “No you’re not” he cut you off sternly, “You shouldn’t even walked,let me help you please and I’m extremely sorry for my bad manners.” He stepped closer and you took a step back,prepared. “Wha-” you started slowly,(like he’ll let you finished your sentence-,of course not,duh 😒) But what he did next has caught you off guard-
He just lifted you up,bridal style.Ignoring all the punches and kicks you threw at him,all your protests and objections.You didn’t have that much strength to push him off from how much you’ve lost your blood and you’re starting to feel dizzy…(He’s a strong boi,pls just let him do what he wants UwU) So he just carried you to the closest shelter he could find to hide from the pouring rain,which was a cave.
-Ooh~Did I have to tell you about how red and flustered you looked?✨Well,maybe not lol😂
When you both have finally made it to the cave,he put you down gently before also put the box on his back down and start to rummage to find things under his haori,probably find some clothes to bind your wound that might help to stopped your blood….
“Why did you do that?” You started,and he suddenly stopped his movement and turn his attention to you. You were staring outside the cave,not even sparing him a glance….“Do…what?…” he answered. “Carried me,or should I asked,Why did you help me?” You turn to look at him,and he blinked before look down “Oh…I…I just…I just can’t leave you like that…” He trailed off,before going back to find things…
You sighed, “You don’t really have to do that,we don’t even know each other” You exhaled. “Sorry…” he answered,his expression fell clearly. “But still…” You started again, “Thank you…for helping me” You smiled a bit at him,at that-he starts to bright up again, “With pleasure!” He cheered, “Oh and here,could I see your wound please?”
You slowly stand up and walked towards him,he immediately run in to help you-though you said almost ten times to him that you’re fine. “You shouldn’t stand up like that!At least give me a word before you do anything!” He scolded you,and you just just laugh. “It’s not funny!” He cried. “Yeah,yeah I know…Whatever,go on.Please help me tend the wound.” You offer him a warm smile,which he sighed-but still returned your smile.
Once you’re sat down and he starts to clean the wound…The wooden bow shook and you both flinched. “What-what was that?” You choked out, “Oh,it’s my sister,she’s a demon” he relaxed, “Oh,a sister…Wait,what?A demon?” You whipped your head from Tanjiro to the box,the box to Tanjiro,until the so called ‘demon’ that Tanjiro called his ‘sister’ came out…
Dear goddesss you almost fainted…His sister,forget the the word ‘demon’. She was so cute and adorable,too much than to be one of those wretched demons.Even with that bamboo tube in her mouth she still looked cute <3.And she just looked at you-to her brother,and back to you.
“Ah-Nezuko!This is my new friend,(l/n) (y/n)!She is a good person,you can trust her.But be careful!’cause she’s get hurt by the demon!And (y/n),this is Nezuko.My sister.” Tanjiro called happily with a bright smile.Nezuko blinked at you and tilted her head to the side,when she saw your wound she immediately rushed in to help her brother tend your wound.She huffed as if she wanna ripped the head of the demon who hurt you and you almost gone to heaven when she did that.
You blinked a few time before smiled at her, “Thank you”.And you can sense that she was smiling back,her eyes were sparkling like she was glad that she can help you.
“Ouch!” You cried out when Nezuko wrapped the cloth a bit too tight around your wound, “Ah!Be careful Nezuko!” Tanjiro stopped and help you. Nezuko,poor baby felt so guilty and sad for hurting you,she’s much more gentle after that…🥺
After tending the wound and your blood finally stopped.Nezuko came and wrapped her arms around you gently while snuggle close to you as an apology for hurting you,careful to not touched your wound again this time,you returned her hug with a warm smile and reassured her that she didn’t do anything wrong and that you’re fine.Tanjiro smiled gently at the sight of you two…
Then,you three sat down close to each other,Nezuko sit on your left as she rests her head on your shoulder,sleeping.Leaving you and Tanjiro talked and relaxing at the sound of rain falling and getting to know each other more…Before you both starting to feel sleepy and slowly drifted off to your peaceful slumber…
But still Nezuko cuddled with you all night until morning came and she has to go back to the box to hide from the sun…She demanded a head pat from both you and Tanjiro before she get in though💞She also hugged you one more time before finally get back in too!Looks like she’s very fond of you~💕
When Tanjiro needs to leave for his next mission, he asks you, “(Y/n),do you want to come with me?-” “(l/n) (y/n) and Kamado Tanjiro!You two must go on your next mission together at the Tsuzumi Mansion!” Tanjiro’s crow suddenly came in and starts to squawking orders. “Looks like you don’t have to ask me now~” You teased him-and he laughed. “You’re right,let’s go on our mission then” He stepped out and start to run to his and your next destination under the bright morning sun,you smiled before you start to run after him…
As you do that…Your mind was racing….you kinda have a special thing for both Tanjiro and Nezuko….What is it?…Damn dear (y/n)….who would you choose?…

Synopsis : What would you do?If you find someone,crying in the middle of the path you’re walking through…Will you help him?Or will you at least ask him if he’s ok?We’ll see… •~•
You’re,like I said before-walking through a pathway in a small town…And you might question,why would you go there?Well,the answer is simple-You’re a demon slayer!✨You’ve been told by your crow that there’s demon that will appeared every night to eat humans one by one…Your duty was to slay it as soon as possible before it gets devour any more innocent people.
But…as you know.Things won’t usually go as planned…While you were strolling around the town-trying to find some informations about this certain demon you’ve been sent to killed.You met a boy,who seems to be around your age.The uniform that he was wearing told you that he was also a demon slayer.Everything seems normal about him (you thought so-) except the way he crouched down to the dirt while has his head on his knees and crying like a baby while mumbling something so quiet that you couldn’t understand…
You paused,then frowned at him. ‘What was he doing?Did he has some troubles or problems?Should I go and help?….What should I do???’You thought frantically as you tried processing,then shake your head a few times before taking a deep breath.
‘No,I SHOULD go and help him.Since he can also counted as my co worker,yet-maybe I could use some help in this mission of mine.’ You exhaled fiercely.You turned on your heels and slowly stride towards him,if you want me to be honest-you’re a little bit nervous,’cause perhaps you’re wrong and it’s quite possible for you to ending up embarrassing yourself-
Despite your nervousness,you can keep your tone normal as you reach him- “Are you alright?” You began.He slowly look up from his knees,tears were still brimming in his eyes and some ran down to his cheeks.He looks as if he was lost,he lips tremble a bit before his next actions made you regretted for deciding to help him in the first place…
“Whaaaaaa!!!!” He cried,throwing himself to hug your legs tightly. “Finally!Someone’s finally understand and love me!Thank you!Thank you so much!You did this because you love me right!?Right!?And yes,yes,yes!I love you too!Let’s get married now!I love you so much-” You shove him off of you when he just keep blabbering on and on and on.Now-please aware this,you don’t mean to be rude or anything.You just have to get him off you because you were too surprised by the sudden tight embrace you’ve just received.
This has caught some people’s attention,you observed as you quickly whipped your head from side to side.Which just make you even more embarrassed…
“W-What are you doing!?” Your face were tinted pink,and he looks shocked by your response.
“W-why did you do that?” He asked back, “But you just tell me you loved me!So why,would you-oh!I understand now!You like to play hard to get!Then ok,let me try this again!I love you-” He tried to hug you again,but you just backed a few steps from him before he can reach you.
“I said what are you doing?And WHEN exactly did I told you I love you?” You deliberately emphasize on ‘WHEN’ and he just tilted his head in confusion.
“You don’t need any words to tell anyone that you loved them.You just came to me and ask if I’m alright,which means you cared for me.That is enough to tell me that you’re truly,and deeply in love with me” He grinned sickly sweet at you,and you’re sure that the look on your face were pure disgust after you had heard his answer.
“Ha…ha…” You laughed dryly,you feel the corner of your mouth jerking a bit. ‘He can’t be serious,no no-I can’t believe this’ You clenched your hand tightly.Before sighing, “Are you sure you are part of demon slayer?”
He then paused,thinking….and nodding his rapidly as an answer. “Are you sure?” You arched your eyebrow,he just nodded again. “Ok then…I think I should go back to my duty now…goodbye?” You forced out a smile,you saw him opening his mouth to stopped you.But sorry,you’re much faster than that.
You just turned and run,fast.Not even let him finished his sentence,of course-he tried to follow you.But thank goddess that there were a lot of people there,in a swift moment,you vanished out of sight…
After a while,you came panting when you find a good spot to rest for a bit.There was no sign of him,which means you are safe here. ‘I made it…’ You sighed….you then pulled out a bottle of water you brought with,and slowly sipped the liquid to extinguish your thirsty throat.
That’s when you heard people nearby talking about the informations you wanted…
“Did you know?…about a demon that will appeared at night?” One man whisper…..Making you listened intently,but you keep your head looking straight ahead.You must not act suspicious,in case they’ll noticed you eavesdropping their conversation…
“That news?Oh I’ve heard about it,is that the reason why each night…at least one people will strangely disappeared?” Another man whispered back.
“Yes,it gave me goosebumps every time I hear about that.Isn’t it scary?” The first one answer,and the other shaking his head, “We better not bring it up again,it will make everyone feared that demon even more,especially the children…”.
You took the last sip of your water,before close lid and tucking it back to your waist.You stand up and stare at the sky,you still have some hours left…if you keep strolling you will perhaps get some more informations about this demon…and suddenly your mind goes back to that boy you’ve met earlier…Just the thought of it make your shoulders go slumped…. You hope you won’t have to meet him again… TwT
Time skipped when the night came…
As the cool silver moon rose and the glittering stars illuminating the dark sky.You were walking soundlessly alone around the town,looking out for demon that may appeared from out of nowhere and attacking people.From what you can see,most people were already resting or sleeping inside their cozy home.Which will make it easier for you to do your job….
‘Thank my luck I don’t get to meet that crazy boy again…’ You sighed tiredly,grateful.
While walking,you slowly turned your head around from time to time,ready for something that might be suspicious…until you think you’ve seen the slightest movement out of the corner of your eyes…You suddenly stopped in your tracks…hand immediately reached for the hilt of your blade…
You shot your head from side to side and narrowed your eyes when you don’t see anything moving…But then you heard someone screamed behind you…
When you quickly whirl around to see what’s happening,needless to say that you’re shocked….
It was that boy,the boy you met in the afternoon.He was crying and screaming for help,something like “Somebody!Help meeeeeee!!!!!”,while running straight towards you with the demon,The Demon you were told to kill close on his back.The demon was also screaming something like “c’mon!Let me taste you!”.And he shouted back a, “No!Please don’t eat me!I’m not delicious!Look at me!I’m so thin!Don’t you agree!?Arghhhh!” He jumped when the demon almost catch him,luckily he jumped up before it can grab him.
You just stand there,frozen and bewildered. ‘…He is a demon slayer…right?He said it himself that he was also a demon slayer….But if that’s what he said…um…why was he running?’ •_•
“Ah!The beautiful lady!Dear pretty girl!Please help me!!!!!!This crazy thing’s tryna eat me!!!!” He shouted loudly when he spotted you,and you all you can think was, ‘Oh…holy sh*t’. But that doesn’t matter ‘cause once he reached you he just run to hide behind your back and bawling something that you were truly a hero who came to save his day.
“Wait!-” You tried to protest,but it was too late.He was already behind you, “ Wait!What are you!?A coward!?A man’s supposed-at least try to protect woman or something!And what are you doing!?Hiding behind me and hope that I’ll just saved you and become your hero!?” You bristled,but he just cried something like, “Can’t we just talked about that matter later!?Right now,please just saved me!!!!”
When you looked forward again,the demon was already standing in front of you.And you pulled your blade out, “Oh~What is this?Woman protecting a funky?Ha!So funny!” The demon taunt.
“You better shut your despicable mouth…” You growled threateningly,and the demon laugh again.
“Oh!Why?What would you do sweet lady?Are you gonna cut off my head?Ooh~so scary~” It mocked,you’re starting to get irritated….
Without a word,you lunged at the demon,swinging your blade.It dodge your attack by jumping away from you leaving, the tip of your blade only attached to the ground,before it started to dashed towards you again.This time you prepared to use your (type of breathing) style.Surely you can decapitate this demon’s head…
But what surprised you is…It didn’t bolted towards you…no,it just whipped past you.Making you snapped your head after it in confusion,then that make you realized,it wasn’t hurtle for you…but for the boy behind your back…
Maybe the demon thought that eating him would be more easier than eating you…
Zenitsu was even more shocked than any words could describe,he just froze there while squeezing his eyes shut,holding his breath -waiting for the pain to run through his body…The sound of slicing came…but he didn’t feel any pain…
When he slowly open his eyes again…what he sees…pain him instead…
You just take the blow for him,deep claw cuts sliced into your stomach…red blood dripping down to the dirt… “No!!!!” Zenitsu cried,and you dropped to the floor,too hurt to stand up.
The demon laughed wildly while saying things like, “Oh~How cute!You two tried to protect each other-awwwwww~”.
He rushed towards your side and,you can tell that he was guilty and helpless by the look of his face… He cried, “I-I’m sorry!P-please-Please don’t die on me!I beg you!I’ll-”But just then when he see the amount of blood…um…you think he just passed out…
That moment,both you and the demon just blinked in silence for a moment…At first confused why he’s unconscious all of a sudden.Until the demon’s laughter snapped you out of your thoughts…
“Hahahaha!And here I thought that he will try to save you.Hahaha!You two are so hilarious!” barked the demon, “I really wish I can play with you guys a little longer…But sorry,play time’s over…” It lower its voice in the last sentence while spreading its sharp claws,making your face go pale…
The demon shot towards you,and it’s your turn to close your eyes and waiting for the death… You never thought your life would be ended by a demon…But you know you can’t control the future…
Before you knew it,you heard something dropped to the ground…When you fluttered your eyes open again…you jumped when you saw the demon’s head on the dirt. ‘…But I…Who killed it?’ There was a person standing in front of you,when you look up to see your savior…You must say you can’t believe your eyes…
Zenitsu was standing right in front of you,you have no idea how can he kill the demon. ‘Was he still sleeping?Then how could he chopped off the demon’s head?How can he do that?’ You thought curiously…But you can’t lie the fact that you’re amazed by him…
Just then, just as you were admiring him with wide eyes…He suddenly woke and jump into the air while screaming when he sees the demon’s head. This make you sighed disappointedly, ‘Alright…my fault for admiring him…’ -_- ….
“Who killed the demon!?Certainly not me,then who was it!?” He suddenly turned to you, “You!?You’re the one who killed it!?” He said loudly,and you just blinked at him.He then running towards you with a joyful expression, “Thank you!!!!Thank you!Thank you!Thank you!A million thank you!You’re really my hero!I love you-!”.
“Stop!” You cried before he can enveloped you into a tight embrace.
“I wasn’t the one who killed the demon!It was you stupid!You’re the one who killed it!” You shouted frustratedly,he’s still for a moment before giggling at you.
“Oh you’re trying to crack a joke!Though it’s quite bad one because if it was really me then I would already be dead in seconds!But still thank you!” He grinned sweetly,and you slapped a hand against your forehead… ‘…What do I do with this guy?….’ You thought with a dry smile.
“Can you take me to a doctor?” You asked,trying to change the subject ‘cause there was no point in continuing to argue with him. “Oh right!You were hurt!Here!Let me help you stand up!” He cried as he put one of your arm over his shoulder and pulled you up from the ground.Well,to be honest you were quite content that he still care for you…
“Um…my-you’re quite heavy…” He mumbled as he walked with you a few steps.
“What did you just say?” You questioned,your voice was sickly sweet but there was knives behind your every word…
“U-uh…N-nothing…” He answered back,face go pale and scared…
“Good,it’s better be nothing~” You smiled,it was normal.But you think his face just go even paler making you chuckle a bit at how cute he look when he’s scared of something…
‘Honesty he’s kinda cute~’ You thought,then paused, ‘But wait…what?Why am I thinking like this?’ Shaking your head.You tried to get rid of the thoughts all the way to the doctor.TRIED-if you know what I mean…. Still,you can’t help but secretly glance at him with that pink cheeks of yours from time to time when you think he’s not looking…👀 (But really,he did notice •////•)
Of course,when he turn to you.You just quickly look around and pretend like you haven’t been staring at him in the past few minutes asdfghjkl-
When you finally find the doctor,and you were taken away to an infirmary room to start aiding your injuries.Zenitsu was worried sick-all the bad feelings sat heavily in his stomach.His heart almost leap out his chest when he see the doctor came out of the room after some hours have passed…
“Is-Is she…Is she alright?” He managed to ask out when the doctor came to him.
The doctor nodded his head in response, “Yes,her injuries weren’t that severe but she sure has lost lots of blood…” He trailed off…before adding, “But don’t you worry,young man.She is now resting safely in the infirmary room…You can visit her if you want,but please be quiet-she’s sleeping.” He smiled kindly at Zenitsu,and the young boy nodded rapidly before the doctor took his leave.
The creak of door opening,revealing the girl sleeping soundlessly in the bed.Zenitsu slowly sat down on the chair beside her bed,his eyes filled with sorrow and heartache…He really wish he could be braver and stronger…so he can protect people and be everyone’s hero…
Yet another person has to protect him again…And it PAINS him so much…
‘I’m so useless…Nobody would even want to be with me…not even this beautiful girl…’ He sighed quietly as he watched you sleep, ‘I promised…I’ll be braver next time…’ was his last thought,he gently hold your hand and slowly start to let himself fall for a peaceful slumber…with you by his side…
Time skip when the morning came…please just relaxed and enjoyed that peaceful moment a little bit… •~•
The sunlight came prodding through the window and illuminated your features,this make you slowly fluttered your eyes open…Your eyelids felt heavy…maybe because you’ve just woken up-you thought lazily as you turn to lay on your side that wasn’t hurt…And look what you found~
You came to face with the yellow haori boy again…he was fast asleep beside you on the chair,his face looks so cute like that and he’s just so close to you asdfghjkl-But then you noticed-He was also holding your hand…
You blinked a few times while your head was now racing with thoughts- ‘Why is he sleeping beside me?I don’t remember anything after I fall asleep-whatever,and why must he be so cute!!!!!????’ You thought,flustered and your cheeks felt hot. And then suddenly-he slowly open his eyes…
He rubbed his eyes a bit then blinked a few more times-before looked at you right in the eyes.Needless to say-you were embarrassed for being caught staring,too embarrassed.So you just throw a pillow at his face and yelped. “Argh!!!” He cried as he got hit by the pillow and crashed into the chair in sitting position-being hit by a pillow was surely wasn’t what he expecting to get after just woken up. (Sorry lil brother -~-)
“W-why were you sleeping next to me!?” You said quickly said out of embarrassment.
“I should be the one who’s asking!Why did you hit me!?I came to visit and thank you for saving me last night!But you’re already asleep and I was just so sleepy that I accidentally fall asleep beside you!What’s wrong with that!?Good boy needs lots of sleep you know!?” He yelled + complaining at you,and you felt your cheeks get even redder.He has his hands on his head while just yammering nonstop.
“W-well ! It’s-!” Just as you’re about to finished your sentence,your crow and his sparrow came knocking the window with their beaks.Zenitsu immediately rushed to the window to open it,then the birds just shouting you two orders to your next mission-
“(L/n) (y/n) and Agatsuma Zenitsu! You two have to go to the Tsuzumi mansion and killed the demon that’s hiding there!Both of you!” Said the crow,the little sparrow seems to be trying to say something too-but you just couldn’t understand what it meant.
“Me?With him?” You said,pointing your finger disbelievingly at him-and he just turn his head while blinking at you. “Yes!” Answered the crow.
You were still for a moment while thinking something like-‘F*ck…What did I do to deserve this????’ kind of thing…. “Haha….you must be kidding me…” You mumbled as you laughed dryly…
“Wait…another mission!?Oh no no no no no!I’m gonna die,I’m gonna die,I’m gonna die-” He shouted loudly until you throw the very same pillow at his face again, “Shut up!” You shouted at him and he start yelling + complaining at you again.
“Ow-!Why did you hit me again!?It hurt!You know!?Don’t you think you’re being too cruel!?” He cried,putting his hands on his head in case you will hit him again.Completely repeat his earlier actions with his mouth can’t be able to shut up-
“That was because you aren’t being able to be quiet!Just shut up and stop yammering already!” You roared angrily at him.
“And aren’t you being loud too!?” He bawled back, “You are so CRUEL!” .
“If you don’t want me to be so CRUEL then just snapped your mouth shut already!” You bellowed,and he start to yammer at you again.
This make the two birds sighed and look at each other and then at you two who were still fighting…
Seems like you two still have a long way to go…

Every pillar were shocked like, ‘What?How did you do that????’.Not to mention about how his eyes suddenly filled with love and adoration when they laid on you,how calm and gentle he acts with you-and all that stuff😂
If anyone dare to ask you this,“How did you do that/how did you make him calm down?” You would just smile and answer, “I don’t really know how can I do that either.” XD.
He is very protective of you,will always protect you from any harm or danger.Will gave a deadly glare and a dark aura for anyone who looked down or insulted you.Will also protect you from any guy who’s flirt/hitting on you way too much or start to make you uncomfortable.
Will scolded you if you got yourself hurt/let yourself got hurt,but that’s just show that he does-care for you,a lot.💗
Overall he’s a very good brother,relative or not.Once you gain his trust/respect,he’ll trust and respect you-So please, just love him💓💕💖💗

a/n : Ahhhh~ we’ve finally come to the last part of this series ! ✨ hope you guys enjoyed this ! •~•
Synopsis : So,you’re a (you choice) rank of demon slayer.You’ve always work alone since the beginning-but then,on one fine day…your crow told you that you have to work your next mission with another demon slayer,much to your dismay-but still,you comply the orders and went off to finished your mission…

Praises…
These sounds resonate in your ears as people shouted a “Thank you!” for you.You flicked your blade gracefully and soundlessly to clear off the lingering crimson blood before put it back into your scabbard and bowed down a little politely to the crowd.
The demon you’ve just slew seemed to be so impatient and desperate…like it can’t waste another second to devour flesh…maybe that’s why it appeared immediately after the golden sun left the sky…So lots of citizen still haven’t gone home and get the chance to behold you performed your work.
“Thank you for saving me and my son’s lives…” spoke the woman you’ve just rescue,her son was clutching tightly to his mother’s leg as he tried to hide behind her back.
“Oh!And you can rest for a night at my house too!” She offered with a kind smile and you nodded your head gently.
“Thank you for your offer ma’am,I really appreciate it and would love to accept if I’m not bothering you too much” You smiled sweetly back at her.And she laughed-
“Of course dear!You’re not a bother at all!You’ve just saved our lives remember?” She waved her hand as a gesture for you not to worry. “Come,darling.Let me lead you to my house” She beamed,before tell her son that it’s ok as she hold his hand gently and start to walk back her home.
You slowly went after her,people were still cheered for you and some even bowed down for you.You felt your heart swelling with joy and felt overwhelmed as you dragged your eyes over the crowd.You can’t help but let your lips curved upward slightly at the sight you’re seeing-feeling proud of yourself for being able to protect these people…
“Hey there!” Called a voice from in front,it was the woman. “Aren’t you coming?” She cried again and you felt your smile grows a bit wider as you speed up your pace to catch up with them.
After you have had a good meal and a relaxing bath,you let yourself fall to the mattress and stared blankly at the ceiling of your room…
“Ah…another day has passed huh?Time sure travels fast…” You chuckled,then heard something from outside.You immediately sat upright-head’s ringing with thoughts like ‘There’s another demon?I thought there was only one,or was it something else?But I still shouldn’t really let my guard down,should I?’
You grabbed your sword,preparing for whatever it is that might be ‘endangered’ ….
Suddenly,you heard something fall and the door just slide open.It was that timid boy that clutched tightly to his mother earlier,you realized that he’s been peering into you for a while but cracked and slipped to the floor from being careless,which also makes the door slide open and reveal the little mischievous culprit…
“Ah!!!!” He cried as he hit the floor,you felt your heart skipped a beat when the door slides open-before calming down and sighed a bit to yourself,feeling relieved that it isn’t anything bad…
You got up from the mattress and walked over to help the child to his feet, “Are you alright?” Was your first question as you grabbed his arm gently while your other hand gripped on his waist lightly to pull him up.
The boy nodded slightly with trembled lips, “I-I-I’m s-s-sorry…” he stuttered out,and you sighed again while smiling at him.Your eyes were kind,and filled with adoration as you gazed down at him lovingly.
“It’s ok…you’ve got nothing to be sorry or scare about…” you ruffled the boy’s head lightly.
“So…why are you here?If I may ask?” You question as you sit down to match his level.This boy is probably only about 5 to 6 years old,he’s so cute and tiny <3
“I-I…C-can I really s-say it?” He answered nervously,fidgeting with his fingers…and you nodded gently with a small smile.Trying to encourage him to tell you what’s wrong.
“I-I saw you f-fighting with the d-demon today…and I t-thought it w-was pretty cool…I also w-wonder if I-I could be like that when I’m o-older…” He spoke quietly,it’s almost as a whisper,he stumbled over his own words,his eyes scurried around from side to side.He looks like he wanted to scream but doesn’t have the courage to do so.This make you laughed softly…
“Of course sweetie,of course you can be like me when you get older.I’m sure you’ll become stronger and braver when the time passed…” You smiled fondly as you let out your statement,you just know you adored this boy so much.
“You s-sound just l-like my mother…” he mumbled,and you laughed.
“Really?I’m sorry if I bored you then,but your mother is a very good,kind and sweet lady.Shower her with love,ok?She cares and loves you so much more than any words could described…” You mused joyfully,and the boy look up at you with the slight confusion in his eyes…
“..H-How did you know?” His voice was hesitant,but curious.
“Only by the look in her eyes when she gazed at you was enough to tell me that” You grinned,“What’s your name dear?”.
“A-Akira…” He answered shyly, and you continued-
“Good name,my name’s (L/n) (y/n).Akira,I’m sure you’ll be a great and strong fighter in the future as long as you believe.” You state firmly,and you swore you caught a little glimpse of twinkle in the boy’s eyes.
“Y-You really believe like that?” He looked up,and you beamed.
“Yes,now,would you mind telling more about your dreams Akira?” You spoke softly,he blinked before slowly nodding.His hands were clutched together tightly,telling you that he was still nervous.
“C’mon” You said,standing up while you outstretched your hand, “You sure don’t want to stand here until your legs are sore,do you?”
He nodded stiffly again.You led him to your room and let him sit down beside you on the mattress, “So…” You started, “Why do you wish to become like me?”
“I-I b-because you look so c-cool when you swing your b-blade!A-and your face didn’t even s-shift a little w-when you sliced the demon’s head o-off!” He stuttered out,but you can sense the excitement behind his voice.
“I guess it just happens so often that I’m used to it!” You laughed and he blinked.
“Y-you’ve k-killed other demon b-before?” He asked,you nodded slowly.
“Really!?I-is it is it hard?Or s-scary?” Said the boy.
“Hm…” You hummed, “Maybe a bit.But if I do nothing but scared,I wouldn’t be able to saved people,would I?”
“Oh…i-it’s true…” He looked down sadly with his shoulder slumped.
“You have just saved us today too…I wish was more braver and stronger so I can protect my mother and be like you someday…” He added. You can’t lie the fact that you’re a bit curious about his father-but you stopped yourself.
“You can also be like me when you’re older,I already told you that right?” You asked.
“Yes..but it’s just so hard to truly believe I can be like that…” He trailed off…This make you sighed.
“Let’s talk about other things-What do you like to do?Playing?Or something else?” You said. Decided to change the subject-his eyes lit up immediately with interest.
“Oh!I like to play hide and seek with my friends!And a lot of other things!” He spoke quickly.From what you can see he start to get more courage to speak with you since he doesn’t really stutter like he used to.
“Tell me more about it then” You smiled and he beamed back…
That’s how it went.Akira talked on and on about things,his passion,what he likes and dislikes and many more things else.Not that you were complaining,you were glad he has gained more confidence in speaking.Plus you have fun listening to him talking too!
Until,the boy yawned again for the third time after some moments.Making you realized it was pretty late already so you tell him that he should go back to his room and have some rest.
“And,(y/n)-san…” Akira said suddenly as he stopped and turn to you before he leave.
“Hm?” You hummed while smiling up at him.
“You said that you worked to killed demons…” He started,a little bit hesitation cleared in his voice. “There were rumors…about one demon that lives in the nearby mountains…They say he looks like a boar-a very hot and short tempered boar…Please be careful with it,if you’ve ever encountered it…” He seemed to shudder a little as he spoke.
“I will…” said you, “Thank you so much for this information” You bowed your head a little.
He nodded,before turning and leave the room….
You blew the candles and let yourself fall to the mattress… ‘A demon who looks like a boar?’ You thought to yourself, ‘Better be prepared then…” You sighed.Closing your eyes before drifting off to your peaceful slumber…

The rays of sunlight shone through as you stand outside the house.Saying goodbye and thank you to the woman who let you rest at her house…
“You can stay for a little longer and have breakfast with us…” The woman said.And you shook your head gently,
“No,I already owe you so much…Still,thank you for your kind offer once again…” You smiled.
“How many times do I have to tell you that you’re not a bother to us at all…” She sighed tiredly.
“I’m so sorry then…” You chuckled, “And…May I ask where is Akira?” You questioned.Turning your head from side to side to look for the little boy…
“Oh,that boy?” Said the mother, “He’s still fast asleep inside the house.He seemed so tired so I don’t want to wake him up yet,since it’s still so early” She answered.
“I see…” You nodded, “Miss…May I also ask….” You hesitant… “Uh…about your husband?” You managed out…
There was an uncomfortable silence between the two of you for a while…before she replied.
“Of course,my husband already died about a year ago…so Akira was pretty lonely…” She sighed quietly again…
“…I’m so sorry to hear that…” You apologized, “…Your son is a very strong boy…” You added.
“He is…” She nodded with a small smile, “He seemed to like you too” She said- “I’ve noticed his slight changed behavior”
You laughed, “Really?I’m glad” You smiled back at her one last time-before saying, “I think I better go now,thank you so much again” You bowed politely to the mother.
“You don’t really have to bowed!” She said, “Only thank you was enough”
You nodded once you were back to your original position, “Goodbye then ma’am,please have a great day.” You smiled,then turn and went off…
“You are always welcome here dear!” The woman cried after you and waved her arm,you waved back and continued on your way….

Your crow came flapping towards you before gently landed on your left shoulder….
“Hello (your crow’s name),how are you?” You greeted as you scratched its neck lightly.
“Good!Your next mission is in the graveyard in southwest town!Rumors say there will be demon appeared every night there!You’ll probably reached there at night if you’re not so lazy!” The crow shouted loudly beside your ears,you feel like your eardrums would break any second if you hear your crow’s voice again…
“Hey,I’m offended!Please just be a little more careful with your words next time,will you?” You said…and the crow answered-
“No!What I said is right and true!” Squawked the crow,this make you sighed…
“And!” (Your crow’s name) speak again, “You have to work with another demon slayer this time!” Barked the crow.
“With another demon slayer?” You echoed in astonishment as you stared at the bird with wide eyes.
“Yes!And one more thing!Beware of the boar!” Your crow cried before it lifted off and fly to the blue sky…
“Wait!” You tried to stopped it,but it was no use. (Your crow’s name) just go fluttered its wing freely farther and farther away from you…
You sighed again, “You could have just told me more about that another demon slayer!Or at least,what he or she looks like…” You mumbled the last part.At least even some more information about the demon is good enough for you…You thought grumpily as you took another step and began to continued walking to your next destination…
‘Who was that someone I need to work with?He or she?…If it was a boy….’ You felt your cheeks dusted some light shades of pink, ‘Was he handsome?’ You bit your lip and slapped yourself internally, ‘No no,I must not think like this.My work here is slaying demon and yes I should focus on it.Surely I can do that…’
You paused,sighing….‘Right?’

You’ve made it to the graveyard at night exactly like what (your crow’s name) told you.After asking for ways and some informations about the demon with people who lives in the nearby village.
They say that it’s true about the rumors,there were people who strangely disappear every night whether they were just asleep or doing something…and another strange thing was that,every morning they will see blood-lots of blood scattered all over the graveyard.The smell is bad and very stinky too…There haven’t been anyone who dared to come across that place as this occurred more and more often…
Except…There was one man,he wore something that looks like a boar mask.So they couldn’t see nor remember his face-that boy was courageous,but got a short tempered and so much enthusiasm…He went to the graveyard a few days ago….No one has seen him since then,they assumed that he was probably dead by ghosts,rancorous souls or whatever-
People also described that the boar’s mask man was a bit off the word ‘normal’…Some called him ‘crazy’ or ‘mad’ from the way he went laughing and running to the graveyard….
‘Eh…a boar again??? Can everything I’ve heard about the boar…be related???’ You thought to yourself after you thanked the people for informations and head to the graveyard…
When you reached there…The place was dark and filled with stinky smell like what you’ve been told…
You covered your mouth and nose with your hand while slowly looking from side to side….But you saw nothing…
Then suddenly you heard someone’s crying…
You quickly whipped your head towards the direction where the voice came and saw a girl crying at one stone,her head on her knees as her body tremble uncontrollably.She has no sense that she could be a demon,you sighed in relived before slowly moved towards her…
“Hey…” You called quietly,and she jumped as she shot her head up at you.
“Are you alright?” You asked.Her frame shook violently with fear-
“W-who are you?” She asked back,tears still ranning down her cheeks.
“Shhh,don’t cry.I’m not here to hurt you-but please just tell me,what happened?” You cooed,crouching to her level and rubbed her shoulder to comfort her.
“M-my friends and I came to see if there was a real ghost in this graveyard.I-I already told them we shouldn’t come here especially at night!But they wouldn’t listen and now they’re dead!I-I saw it with my own eyes-I-it’s so t-terrifying…” She sobbed harder covering her face with her hands…It pains you to see her like this…
‘She was only a child…and here she is…has to watch this dreadful and brutal scene…’ You thought sadly as you watch her with sympathize. ‘I feel sorry for her…I’m sorry…If only I’ve arrived here a little faster your friends wouldn’t have been dead…’ You contemplate with anger,you were angry with yourself for not being able to protect her friends.All you can think now was that,you must protect this girl…
As you’re about to ask her how long has she been sitting here-you heard a screech coming from your left.You snapped your head to see what the sound was.And your eyes met with the demon’s disgusting eyes…
It has to be the demon who’s killed this girl’s friends,from the blood that dripped down to the floor from its mouth…The girl shriek in fear and you drew out your blade while gritted your teeth.
You must win this battle…
The demon snarled at you and immediately charged towards you and the girl.This one seemed to be so hungry for human’s flesh and blood but it doesn’t have the desperation like the last demon you’ve slew.You yelled for the girl to run as you gripped your sword preparing to killed this demon in one blow with (your breathing) style…
The girl scurried away from the demon and you raised your blade over your head,ready to swing.Just about time you swing your blade-aiming for the demon’s neck.The demon got stab to its side and staggered back clutching its wound.It pulled the blade out and throw it to the side,wincing and wriggling in pain.
You whipped your head to the way where the blade came from and met with a man who’s wearing a boar mask as he laughed wildly with contentment about something…
You stand there blinking in shocked as he continued to laugh and say something like, “You see how strong I am now!?Of course!Because I am the great Inosuke!The strongest swordsman in this world hahahaha!”.
‘A boar…a boar…a boar….So familiar…Oh!That man!The one people’s been talking about!He’s not yet dead?How surprising…’ You thought as your mind tried to process about what’s happening…
‘And…seems like the people were right…He’s something but definitely not normal…’ You observed as he’s still not laughing nor just shut his mouth… ‘He didn’t really seemed to care about the demon…did he?’
The demon’s shook its body for a few more times before looked up and glared the so called ‘The great Inosuke’.It hissed and rushing towards him-probably wishing to end his life’s first.
“Ha!You thought I have only one blade!?Wrong!I have two blade!Waiting to cut off your head here!So cool I know!Hahaha!” Said Inosuke,raising his other blade in his other hand to show the demon.
‘Seriously?’ You thought,shocked and baffled.You immediately chase after the demon but it didn’t seem to care-It’s like it want nothing more than to ripped the boar mask man’s heart out of his chest.
You quickly sliced the demon’s head off using (whatever form you like) form from (your breathing) style once you reach it and as it was about to grab the man.The boar mask man also prepared to stab through the demon body again but you steal his thunder first…
“Ha!?” He cried with disbelief, “How dare you!?I was about to finished this demon’s first!” He pointed at you,specifying.
You ignored him as you flicked your blood clean before putting it back into your scabbard…
“Hey!I’m talking to you!” He bristled,and you sighed tiredly.
“I just want to finished my work.Is it that hard to understand?” You raised your eyebrow as you glance at him.
“I don’t care!But you just stole my scene!I can’t accept that!Who are you!?I’m Hashibira Inosuke the greatest!And who are you!?” He shouted,so loud-you rolled your eyes at him.
“(L/n) (y/n),satisfied now?” You answered.
“No!I demand a fight!Let’s fight to see who’s stronger than who!?” He cried,and you stared at him for a minute,blinking.
“What!?” He bellowed.
“…Nothing…I just can’t believe how childish you acted…” You spoke calmly,before turning- “And maybe next time for your fight.As you can see-I’m busy right now.So please wait patiently-” You stopped,looking around.Finding for the girl-
“There you are” You called once you find her,walking towards the girl.
“Are you alright dear?” You asked,crouching down to her level.The girl was still a bit scared of what has just happened but she still manage to nodded for your question.
“Good” You smiled, “C’mon,let me take you back to your home.Where do you live sweetheart?” You demand as you take the girl’s hand.
“I-In the village.” She answered nervously,glancing around to see if there was more demons.
“It’s ok love, just stay close to me alright?I’ll protect you.” You tell her,trying to make her relaxed.And she nodded again,too afraid to speak.You gripped her small hand a little tighter.Before heading back to the village.
“Hey!” Called another voice behind you,you turned around only to be met with the same boar mask man. “How dare you ignoring me again!?” He cried,you sighed and shook your head in response.
“Will you just stand there,or come with us?” You asked him,and he seemed stunned a bit.
“Come with you?Why would the great Inosuke come with you!?” He yelled back.
“Up to you then” You said before continued to walk out of the graveyard.
“Wait!” He cried but this time you didn’t even glance back. “Damn you!” He said,but still-he ran after you back to the village.Saying that this can be a challenge of who ran faster.
‘He really isn’t normal…’ You thought to yourself as you watch him ran towards the village as fast as he can. “I’m not taking that challenge!” You cried but he didn’t seem to hear that…
‘I guess waiting for some minutes wouldn’t hurt for him then…’ You shrugged.
As you reached the village you met with the parents of the girl.They seemed so worried and scared from the gasp and sound of happiness they made as soon as they saw their daughter.The little girl also immediately ran into her parents arms,crying.The scene was just so beautiful that you somehow that a tear might slipped from your eyes.
The girl then pointed at you saying that you were the one who saved her from the scary ghost in the graveyard.Her parents looked up with gratefulness and the people nearby started clapping and cheering for you.Shouting a big ‘thank you’ for their hero.This make the same feeling of your heart swelled with joy came back again.
You were so so happy at that moment…until that boar mask man came shouting towards you that you lose and he win or something like that…
“Why were you so slow!?See!Well,I’m the great Inosuke so of course I win!And you lose hahahahahah!” He laughed again,and you smiled dryly at him.
‘Couldn’t he just come to me later?’ You thought sickly,before sighing.
The crowd,were shocked and surprised to see that he’s still alive.Gasping and whispering became widespread through the people.Still,the parents of the little girl offer you and Inosuke to rest for a night or two at their house.You two of course accept the offer,you thanked them politely all the while Inosuke,laughed wildly while saying something like, “Of course Inosuke the great will accept your offer hahaha!”.
At last…he didn’t even thank them…. -_-

You sighed with contentment as you walked to stroll a bit to refresh yourself before going to bed.You decided to go and relax at the engawa (veranda).But when you go there,oh-how much did you regret your decision…
You found that boar mask man,sitting at the edge of the engawa with his legs dangling over it.You almost turn on your heels to go back to your room until you noticed something strange….
Inosuke,or what you believe to be his name,wasn’t wearing his boar mask as he usually does.He just sit there staring off into the distance with no aware that you were watching him.
And not to mention that you almost slipped on your feet once you saw his face.His face-was just so feminine that you almost thought for a second that he was a girl covering her body to look like a boy-
You were debating with yourself for quite a moment about should you go to him or not that you didn’t noticed him slowly turning back as if he feels like someone was watching him.
He yelped in surprised once he saw you, “What are you doing here!?”
You also immediately shot your head to look at him, jumped. “Huh?Me?I-um,I was-I was just about to sit and relax at the engawa for a bit!But I didn’t know that you were already here so I was just planning to leave.” You excused yourself quickly.
He eyed you,feeling suspicious-looking at you from head to toe before meeting your gaze. “Then who stopped you?Just come and sit.” He said.
You were surprised that he didn’t yelled or shouted at you this time.But you sure won’t complain-you wouldn’t want to make him mad and just shouted at you again.
“So-why are you here?” You asked as you sit down.Decided to ease the tension a bit.
“I don’t know” He answered,looking down at his lap.Seems like your plan didn’t work-what about this one?
“Inosuke” You called, “Why do you become a demon slayer?” You asked as you turned your head to face him.
“H-how did you know that I was a demon slayer!?” He demand suddenly,and loudly.
You blinked, “Um…it was pretty obvious since your blade can make the demon disintegrated…And that kind of blade normally belongs to a demon slayer.” You explained,hoping that he would understand.
“Oh-right,and well-I just met a normal demon slayer in my mountain.I asked him for a fight and he loses,that’s when I heard about the final selection and become a demon slayer.” He said and your eyes widen.
“Your mountain?” You repeat.And he blinked at you before nodding.
“Yeah,what’s wrong with that?” He asked.You shook your head.
“Nothing, just a bit surprised.” You answered,remember your conversation with Akira,perhaps he is really the one who Akira spoke about…You thought to yourself-deciding not to tell Inosuke about this in case it make him mad or even worse-make him praise himself again….
Inosuke doesn’t speak anything after that for about 1 solid minute,he just stare intently at you all the time which start to make you feel a bit uncomfortable…
“Um…” You started,shifting a bit in your seat. “Wh-”
“Tell me” was all he spoke,and that suddenly make you realized that he was waiting for you to tell him about how you become a demon slayer.He wanted to ask but is too stubborn to speak it himself-this make you smile and chuckled.
“Sure thing,well- (You start telling your own story of how you became a demon slayer.I want to leave this to your own imagination about your past.Inosuke will listen to every single bit of your story no matter how short or long it is,please enjoyed <3)”
“I see” He answered, “Interesting story” he added and you laughed.
“You think so?” You asked him,and he nodded.This make you smiled.
“….Do you have any family?” He questioned suddenly,you must admitted that this has taken you aback.
“(Yes or no,up to you!)” You answered, “And you?”
“I don’t…I can’t even remember my own mother’s face…” He said,there was a hint of sadness behind his voice.You looked at him before sighing-
“Gosh-Don’t be so dramatic.You are not the only one who’s lost,I’ve met a 5 years old boy who’s also lost his father about a year ago-Even that little boy is stronger than you” You said,standing up while shook your head gently. “The great Inosuke shouldn’t be weak like you,should he?” You asked,looking at him one last time before you’re about to turn and walk away.
“I’ll just go to bed now-Goodnight,weak.”
“Hey!Who did you just called ‘weak’ !?” He cried after you’ve just took a few steps.Seizing your wrist tightly,the sudden movement make you lose your balance.Inosuke tried to stop your fall by pulling you to him-but how accidentally it ended up with you sitting on his lap,eye’s wide filled with shocked and surprised.
You and him stayed there in that position for a moment,you felt your cheeks heat up bright red as you’re still shocked about what just happened before you pulled yourself together and make yourself get up from his lap.Ignoring how comfortable and warm he is or how you wanted to stay there for a little longer-But it is too embarrassing for you •///•
“I-I-I think I will just go to bed now!Sleep well!” You quickly said before turn on your heels and immediately bolted to your room.Leaving him still sitting there,dazed and embarrassed.Dark red coloured itself into his face as he stared at his palm and think back to that moment earlier…
As you soon as you reached your room.You immediately fall to the mattress and stared at the ceiling,thinking.
‘He was just a friend,he was just a friend,he was just a friend,but wait-when exactly did I counted him as my friend?’ You thought,then pull a pillow to shove your face into it,blushing hard.
You were screaming inside as you felt so restless, ‘I cannot think straight anymore…’ was your last thought before you forced yourself to sleep and just forget it…
But can you really?Sorry but I’d say no.Honey-look at you,your face are still dusted with pink even when you told yourself to forget it! owo

When the next day came… -~-
You woke up,feeling tired and sore from yesterday’s work.Being a demon slayer sure is very hard and tiring-and you know you have to get up now or else your crow would come and wake you…
(which you surely didn’t want that,you wouldn’t want your crow to came barking at you to wake up,would you?)
But as you started to get conscious as you stretched your tired muscles a bit?Oh darling-you mind just take you back to that sweet,embarrassed memories you’ve just witnessed yesterday-
You cheeks immediately went dark red again when you recalled it.You shook your head and slapped yourself internally once again before you got up and get ready for the day…

You walked out of the house after you went to say goodbye to the owners of the house.They we’re still sleeping soundlessly together with their daughter sleep in the middle and got squeezed warmly by her parents on both of her side.This make you smile before you decided to write a not and leave it on the table instead.
You met with Inosuke once you slide the door open,you felt yourself blushing once your eyes met with his frame.He turned back to look around and trust me,this boy also got a little bit of pink tinted in his face.He quickly look away,decided to avoid eye contact with you.
You greeted him awkwardly,and he greeted back.An uncomfortable silence fell between the two of you as you walked away from the house.After a while,your crow came fluttering its wings toward you and Inosuke.(Your crow’s name) immediately plopped itself on your shoulder.It surely does notice that something’s off as you don’t welcome it as you normally do.
“Your next mission is at Tsuzumi mansion!You two did well in your last mission so we decided that you two should go and do another mission together!Now,don’t be lazy and keep going until you reached your next destination!” Yelled the crow before it opened its wing and flew off into the clear sky.
You two stay there gawkily before Inosuke decided to break the silence, “So…Uh-We’ve to do another mission…together?” He began slowly while glancing at you.You nodded your head stiffly.
“I…guess?” You answered back.And he bit his lip hesitantly.
“I…Yesterday…was-um…actually just an accident…” He state nervously,and you turned your head to fully look at him.
“Yeah…it was…I’m sorry for that…” You added too,and he shake his head.
“Nah it’s alright…it’s um-like I said, just an accident” He spoke.You giggled a bit at how stubborn he is to just properly apologize.
“W-Why are you laughing!?What’s so funny!?” He bristled with his face getting a bit more red as he heard your laugh.He won’t admit that he likes it when you laughed or even just simply smile. 😏
“Nothing!You were just so cute looking like that!” You stated happily with a small smirk when you saw him blushing.He got even redder at that- >///<
“C-cute!?Who!?Me!?” He asked,pointing at himself for confirmation while whipping his head around to see anybody else.
“Yes you~It’s you stupid brain!You’re so dumb!” You teased.
“What!?” He cried and you laughed,run in front of him before stopped.
“You like competition right!?Then come and catch me if you can!” You cried,turning and continued to run away.
“Ha!Bold of you to challenge me!Let me tell you first-I will not lose!” He shouted back as he chase after you to catch up.
This is sure would be such a long,long journey….
