-vibrating- i think about terzo and omega a normal amount
i have a very. specific version of them rattling in my brain that's like.
omega has been around since secondo, so it's not as if he hasn't seen his summoner's younger brother around before. he's attractive, certainly, and can charm the pants off of just about anyone, but being a member of the band itself has allowed himself to see a bit more of terzo. see a side that isn't shown often, never in public. he had only caught glances of it, though.
a scowl here. a hardened gaze there. hushed arguments in italian that, unfortunately, omega could only get bits and pieces of (papa spoke to them in english, mostly, and omega knew latin, so learning italian proper had been on the back burner). it was enough to tell omega that terzo was... unhappy. similar to papa, but different.
when terzo took over, he got to understanding the full difference between the two: where secondo's bitterness has smoldered within him, terzo's anger was alive and well. He knew to hide it well, since "one of us brothers has to be the charming one, no?".
omega fell in love. such passion. such... fury, all hidden underneath layers of smiles and flirtations. a want for change-- a want that omega found himself sharing, once he began to understand Terzo's vision-- he was helpless.
terzo found himself fond of omega, too. it unnerved him, at first, being seen through so easily by the ghoul. he found it uncomfortable at how quickly he would drop his carefully crafted facade around omega, but it also inspired an awe. a closeness.
a partner in the crime of heresy in the eyes of the ministry.
terzo has been filled with hate for a long time, everything else becoming a distant emotion at best most of them, but omega... omega...
it's no wonder they both had to go.
