I am so totally confused my head will Burst :O caroline does not end up with stefan? Alaric and damon arent friends and alaric has kids? Does alaric have kids with his new vamp.soul wife ? Dude . Whats going oooon????? And originals??? Jrjeifhdjsi if any of the michaelsons die I will kill MY SELF whyyyyy !!! Ps. I looove elijah he is my man xD

So for your TVD Q's. The heretics are witches who could only get magic by sucking magic, unlike normal witches who have their own source. Because of that, when they were turned into vampires, they retained that ability to use magic and use their vampirism as their own source of magic. Thus resulting in an infinite supply and having vampire abilities and cravings. Think of it like the hybrids of S2, the show kept saying they were the most powerful creatures but it didn't stop everyone else from killing them. On to the next development, the flash forwards. The shows structure this year is very different this year. Think HTGAWM or Quantico if your so inclined. The lack of a linear structure means the writers are able to show each characters situation in 3 years time. For Caroline, it's a great job at a news station (not sure what position, but she has a personal assistant so it must be pretty high up) and she's engaged to a mystery guy, who we definitely know isn't Stefan. On to Stefan, now he's been running away from a mysterious huntress for all these years. Then we get to see Tyler, who's only scene was on the phone in the car while Stefan was calling him, seems to have done very well for himself if the sharp suit and fancy car are anything to go by. Then we have Alaric, while it is true he has twin little girls, there appears to be no mother in sight. According to several rumors floating around, rather than shoot around Candice's pregnancy they decided to incorporate it into the plot and are planning on writing in that Jo's father did a uterus swap spell on Jo and Caroline so that Caroline would be having Jo's babies when he realized Kai was going to kill the entire coven (why they also didn't die since they are also connected to the coven and shouldn't have survived in Caroline since she's undead, I have no idea ). Also, you are correct, Enzo and Bonnie are together in the flash forward.Though how they got together and the nature of their relationship is still quite unclear. Though we see Bonnie in group therapy at a psychiatric hospital and realize something bad has happened. In the present the gang compelled all the humans to leave mystic falls as per the peace terms after the heretics attacked Matts cop graduation ceremony in retaliation to Matt and Caroline helping Stefan blow up the Heretics house. I hope that helps clear it up :D
