Hey besties 🥹 so sorry that I haven't been posting recently. I got caught up with things at home + school so I haven't had the time to update my life daily on the blog </3
I'll be making a post soon on Sunday to talk about week 2 evaluation and probs pretend week 3 starts from the following week instead of this week ;-;;; since I haven't rly been taking care of myself :/ (i still kept up with my hobbies and exercises tho!) but it's okay, everyone has rough patches and it's called a journey for a reason! Not everything is gonna be smooth sailing and me posting this is to show how sometimes life gets in the way and make things harder <3

I'm trying to get closer to drink at least 1L of water a day, but it's close enough~ Also I finally am able to get all my vitamin + meds in, and was able to workout too! Week 1 Evaluation

It's been a week since I've started this journey, so let's reflect on how the first week has been!
First of all, let's have a refresher on what my GOALS for this 30 days initially is~
Fixing my sleep schedule
Incorporate more physical activities (doesn't have to be exercising, can be stretches or walks!)
Drawing more often for practice
Sleep:
I'd say sleep wise, I'm slowly getting better at it. Though, there are moments where I couldn't get myself to sleep and ended up getting worse. But in general, I think I've made good progress than before I started on this journey, so good job me! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
Physical activities:
I'm pretty proud of my progress for this! So far, I've managed to do something everyday for the past week to get my body moving! Whether it be actually following along exercising videos on Youtube or some stretching to ease some tension on muscles! Again, good job to myself uwu
Drawing:
Now this. I did NOT meet this goal at all during this entire week, which is a shame. I think I was focusing a lot on taking better care of my own body that the thought of taking care of my skill set kinda slipped my mind? Which, to be fair, is kind of expected since even trying to remind myself to do certain basic self care task is difficult in itself. So, it's okay, we'll just have to do better during the following week~
Extras:
Other extra stuff for my health that I think would I've done well is also finally taking my meds and vitamins. Though it's not consistent yet, I'm glad I finally was able to take them more than I was before. This goes for my water intake as well! Sometimes I would go on days without drinking any water at all, which is quite bad... But now that I'm trying to actively record down my days and what I've done to better my body, it serves as a reminder in itself to drink more water, so yayyy another great job done for me °ʚ(´꒳`)ɞ°

Things I need to improve/add for the following week:
After a week into this journey, I think I'd like to adjust some of my goals and be a little more specific in what I want to achieve for hopefully the next week! This will help me be a little clearer with what I need to do and help myself feel good in the future >:)
Try to sleep 30 mins earlier than the last, but the latest time for me to go to bed would be 3am. I have been doing quite okay with only a few slips here and there on this. So hopefully by the end of the next week, I can somehow sleep around 12am instead.
Still moving my body every single day, but let's try to exercise 3 times this week for at least 30 minutes! It's been a long time since I've exercised that I forgot how good I always feel afterwards both physically and mentally. So yes, I'd like to challenge myself to actually do some exercise more often! ( *` • ω •´)ゝ
Since I have 0 progress on my drawing, I want to start slow and easy myself into it. Since it feels daunting (for some reason), let's try achieving at least 30 minutes per day for 3 days of art practice. Can be anything, like anatomy, color study, or even just my own personal art. As long as it reaches the goal I set, then it's good :>

Today isn't that much of a productive day but honestly, I'm quite happy with how I'm able to push myself to do a little bit of something, even if I did feel lazy. There were many times where I would feel like skipping out on certain things, like my meds. Even just a 10 minute stretch feels like a chore for potato me ASDJNSDF but I'm glad that I was able to push through and constantly remind myself that I want to live a healthier lifestyle than before. And even if I don't see the results immediately, just being able to feel better within my body is a win! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Also I got to eat lots of good food ⪩(ᐢᗜᐢ)⪨ My body was so sore today but getting to eat good food really felt like it was worth it heh

Crying because today is supposed to be my birthday and I spent a lot of time with my family and friends celebrating it to the point I ended up almost forgetting to take care of my needs? ASNNSDDNF I think it's mainly because I haven't make it a habit yet, after all it takes at least a month to make something a habit. Hopefully by the end of 30 days, I'll be able to make some of these stuff, like water intake and sleep, into a more habitual routine ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-
***Emotional rant about birthday below (to log in my negative feelings about today but pls skip it if you're not comfortable)***
Other than that, emotionally I started feeling a little sad? I think it's because I wasn't celebrating my birthday with as much loved ones as I was last year. Mostly because of things that happened along the year that made me and my friends drifted apart. Idk, I think part of me is also saddened by a friend of mine that didn't give me a gift for my birthday? It's not really about the gift really because they did ask me what do I want and I said "i don't really know." I was more saddened at how they didn't seem to put in much effort into trying to celebrate my birthday? I've always gifted them things they like on theirs and try my best to spend a lot of time with them. But for me, it just feels like any other day and they dropped the question without giving me anything after I said idk what I want. Idk, maybe I'm just not seeing things in their pov and they're just a clueless dummy. They did tell me before how they've never rly gifted gifts to their loved ones other than me. And they've always just gift gifts randomly rather than on a special day. So idk, maybe I'm just not feeling well emotionally and this just clouded my judgement of them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But looking at the more positive side, I have my family who's always there. No matter how much I might have disappointed them, they're still here for me. So honestly, that's good enough for me, even if it feels bittersweet.

Day 1: Slowly but surely (13/05/2024)
Note:
I haven't been taking care of myself lately and wanted to finally break out of it. I know I can't suddenly set too many goals, or else I'd feel too overwhelmed and give up easily ASJDNSFDSDF so therefore, I wanna slowly ease myself into living a healthier lifestyle!
In general, there's a few goals I'd like to meet by the end of day 30!
Fixing my sleep schedule by sleeping before 12am (it's horrible rn, so i'm planning to slowly reduce it back)
Incorporate more physical activities that gets the blood flowing. Doesn't have to be full blown exercising, can just be stretches if i'm not feeling it that day :)
Drawing more often! I have been feeling a huge ass burnout throughout my semester of studying art and I want to take this time to slowly learn to appreciate it again in my own way, while also improving because the only way to improve is to draw more asnjsdf :')
