I wrote this poem to my love. I struggle with some memory issues and it's very important to me to remember our days together, so I speak to a voice diary each night. I wrote this poem thinking of those moments that I record forever.

"As my memory goes.. I paint myself a fire I immerse myself in. The warmth is to sharp to forget, the sweat of the heat of love and the tears of joy are staining and sticky.

I need your breath upon me, your mouth loudly. I need your hands upon me in ways far to perceptive and true to disengage my soul from.

Maybe the loud song of our love disturbs the lawn cutting of the neighbors, maybe the need is dangerously great, maybe I am foolish in the pursuit of a volcano. The warm ridges of his skin glistening with the promise of more fire. The explosions in his eyes tumultuous and tempting.. warm with love.

Smile at me my love and I'll remember the miracles I've forgotten the details of. I'll remember our days together because the smell of holy smoke is still upon me."
