I came out to my mom years ago. I don’t know if it gets to count as coming out, when you’re asexual, but that’s the best way I can label it. She told me not to tell my dad.
This past weekend she told me she and my dad would still love me if I was gay. So. Either she forgot that I told her I was asexual, or she couldn’t accept it and would simply rather I be gay. Better gay than broken, maybe?
I reminded her I’m asexual. She made an offhand comment about how some would just say I’m picky.
I shouldn’t be crushed. I shouldn’t need to post this to the void. But ... I guess being dismissed doesn’t get easier after all. And maybe there’s someone out there who will read this and relate. I know I’m not alone. I just don’t know how to cope with still feeling like I am.

And now that we know the truth, we have a choice to make. Will you take a stand? Are you going to hold them accountable?
After the fall of Shield, we were left defenseless. Hydra had access to all the resources of the world’s greatest information and counter-terrorism agency. Hydra had the US government tied around its finger. There were bombings in every major US city and the whole country was in a state of chaos and panic. It didn’t even take a day for our country to fall to them. Thus began the Neo-New Order.
One day I heard of people coming in for aid and relief. They identified themselves as Shield. That was dangerous for everyone. For them if Hydra found out. And for us if they turned out to be Hydra. It’s hard to band together when you can trust no one. They spoke of a secret promised land where Shield would protect everyone. But they already failed us once. I wasn’t dumb enough to buy into it until I heard them declare: “It’s where we will take our Last Stand.”

ZoSan Lovers, this is your time to shine!
We decided we’d only do a ZoSan week this year with AT LEAST 10 participants. Which means more than 10 reblogs.
We’re very motivated and happy to work for this event!
ZoSan is a great ship and I’m sure you all, just like us, miss it a lot in the show! That’s also why we’re trying to motivate and awake the fandom for productions! Your creations are going to be awesome - last year’s works were really good!

Memory is a funny thing. How life is remembered in fragments, little moments of long forgotten days that stand the test of time. How one small, ordinary word, or object, or smell, can take you back to that moment in a heartbeat.
Kid and Law shared many such moments over the years, before they lost touch at the beginning of high school. Now they are both grown up, working and living far away from their hometown, the memories they made as kids and any feelings they might have been developing filed away as ancient history.

Frosty Vacation

Kid and Law have hectic lives, but they finally get a little time off and decide to go on vacation to Kid's family cottage on the lake.
A prequel to "Frosty Morning."
“Ugh, I take it back, I don’t need a vacation, let’s go home.”
Kid grimaced at his familiar surroundings and immediately regretted his decision to bring Law here for the first time. Because snow. There was snow fucking everywhere. Crunching under his feet as he stepped out of the car, slipping up his pant legs and lodging around the tops of his shoes like icy anklets, and covering him with thick white clumps of cold, wet flakes within moments of exiting his vehicle. Lovely. Just fucking great. He tilted his head back to glare up at the puffy clouds, only to have a particularly large blob of snow land directly on his nose.
The snort of laughter from his boyfriend did nothing to soothe his irritation, and he shot the other man a look. “It’s not funny, this shit is the worst.”
