Sometime ago Jay Herrans mentioned that Epic would make a great animated show and my brain fried.
Presenting Epic: the animated God Games, or at least how it looks like in my head and with my designs.
Open them to see the crispy good quality.
Will probably draw more because I need to draw Hermes being chaotic and bouncing and Poseidon being downright terrifying.
Update: there IS more now!

there is just something so beautiful about songs about the joy you get from such mundane things.
like singing about how the weather's sunny or the weather's rainy but in a way so heartfelt and uplifting the song stays with you, close to your heart for years to come even if you don't know its name
like singing about how much you love your best friends. not because they recently did something that particularly amazes you but just appreciating them being there for you and just generally genuinely making you happy
the most mundane everyday things can become the most meaningful and heartfelt and it's probably just because I'm aroace but I feel that they're so much more genuine than songs about how happy you are because you and your romantic partner got back together or something
i remember seeing a youtube comment a short while back that was along the lines of "I know that usually it's only love songs that are meaningful but this song is the exception" and just thinking dear god how sad must this person's life be if they can't find beauty in anything other than something to do with love. Have you never just stared at a bird perched in a tree singing? Never seen a painting so full of colours that compliment each other in such a way that they each make the others look brighter but it never becomes a clashing over-the-top mess but a harmony of rainbows? Never just eaten a really good meal?
I would trade a thousand shallow, boring, generic songs about romance or heartbreak in exchange for one song about the beauty in the mundane things we take for granted.

Scarlet's paradox pokemon are so good!! Have you ever tried making your own fakemon? Any paradox fakemon?
I have, actually! I thought about several Eeveelutions (Fighting, Ghost, Dragon, Steel specifically!) but, as my Kirby headcanons would suggest, I am Quite The Overthinker. So I haven't shown anything cause I tend to go really into detail with things (as in getting into their learnset through levelling up and TMs). And also cause I am unsure if people would even be interested cause again, I go quite in depth and I hesitate if people would even want to see my block of text. 🙈
So as I said before - you are giving me too much power with this JDHFNCB
I did wonder how other paradox mons would look like, both historical and futuristic, and this ask did give me the inspo of actually drawing out two, from some of my fav mons! I ended up going with one for Scarlet and one for Violet cause I love the past/future dynamic these games display.
So for Scarlet, I thought of Frost Breaker, a 'prehistoric' version of Lapras. They tend to be in very small groups, and fights between males happen frequently. Its nothing unusual to see one battered or covered in scars or missing chunks of its armor. If anything, those are worn with pride and symbolize experience and strength.
And for Violet, I thought of Absol's future version, Iron Omen. Just like Absol, it can predict disasters and does appear as a warning - but far more specifically. Its jagged blade is capable to slicing through any obstacle, should it be threatened. It sharpens it along tough rocks and boulders.
Thank you so much for this ask!! I will most likely think of more paradox mons, and I may revamp these into cleaner refs. But let me know if you'd like me to go crazy with Fakemons, I have quite a few 💖

7. Top 5 Primals or Bosses
(1) The Dying Gasp - Hades
I thought I still had a screenshot of the title card for this one and I'm saddened that I don't. I'll have to grab one later because oh man... Not only does the story behind this one STILL make me cry, the fucking creature design for Hades (both forms) fucking SLAPS SO FUCKING HARD.
(2) The Dead Ends - Ra-La, the Last Mercy
Again, the entire dungeon fucking kills me. I cry so damn hard through it (and I hate hate hate the first boss because I SUCK AT IT) and this... I honestly think it's beautiful. That it offering a beautiful, gentle end is a mercy in some way, and there's nothing wrong with seeking a kindly touch to help move onto the next plane.
(3) Dohn Mheg - Anec Thon, Lord of the Lengthsome Gait
I thought I had a shot, but apparently I cleaned out my old screenshots folder and damn it >< I wish I hadn't. (My PC was sobbing for mercy, that's why I had to do it.) And I just absolutely fucking love this guy. I love his dramatic appearance, the "will kill you via violin" attacks, the way he's just SO RIDICULOUS and also kind of fucking evil. (I love Il Mheg and all the fae in it so muuuuuuuuuch...)
(4) Malikah's Well - Lightwarden: Storge
I love this thing so fucking much you have no idea. I love Shadowbringers, I LOVE monstrous angels, and this??? THIS???? PEAK! PEAK! I LOVE this thing! I love how it sounds like a massive bell, I love that the attack names are torture methods, I love that it rearranges itself. I LOVE the Lightwardens, but nothing more than this one. (And lemme tell you, when I have $$$ available, I'm going to commission someone to draw me a WoL Lightwarden.)
(5) Mt. Gulg - Forgiven Whimsy
Of course I love a boss named Forgiven WHIMSY. I AM whimsy! It's my favorite trait! And having it be a fuckin' Rubix cube of death??? C'mon, that's stellar!!! How could you NOT love that thing? Especially right on the heels of Forgiven Cruelty. I laughed uproariously when I saw it the first time and called to my husband that apparently my main trait would turn me into a big ass cube one day.
