It’s really funny to me that some Sebastian-antis are like “people only like Sebastian because he’s hot 😡.” or “people only like Sebastian because it’s Grant Gustin/The Flash 😤.”

Because:

I find that really disrespectful towards Grant himself. It’s like a backhanded compliment: oh people only like this character of yours because you’re good looking, or because you’ve played a nicer role elsewhere? Not because you put in the hard work to bring this villainous gay teen to life? Not because you’re talented and your wicked quips have charm and likability despite the fact you’re playing a villain/grey anti-hero? No sir, just because you’re ‘hot’, nothing else.

But it’s also discrediting the actual likability of the character anyway. Sebastian is perceived as a bad guy, yes, but we did get a few different layers to him, especially if you watch his background moments closely, that then sets out a foundation to help pull apart different aspects of his character, take what you like, and work with/enjoy it. And you know what else? For glee standards, he’s also just pretty dang funny. For all of the newer Sebastian Smythe stans, you don’t need any excuse or reason to like this character, just like you don’t need an excuse as to why you like Santana, Puck, Finn, or Rachel, or anyone for that matter. It doesn’t need to be justified because it’s GG or Barry Allen, you’re allowed to just like him because its Sebastian, and this is coming from somebody who was acquainted with glee long before the flash or Grant Gustin as a person.

#yknow what I’m sure there are some Seb stans who only like him because of the actor but I’m speaking for the majority I like to think #it’s like when people see pictures of Sebastian and go ‘oh yeah it’s Grant’ I don’t do that? do other people do that?#like no that’s Sebastian to me. most of his photos are Sebastian to me #doesn’t mean I’m discrediting his other works because i think he’s a talented icon #but yeah. Sebastian comes to my mind long before the actor or the infamous Barry Allen #glee #sebastian smythe #grant gustin #Bea’s getting braver with her opinions everyone /lh #the fact that Grant is able to make Sebastian likeable proves how versatile and talented he is #it’s got nothing to do with his looks. If I was smart I would level up my 3 star mysterious cards and get more crystals via challenge shows to pull for Phoenix event emu/nene/tsukasa but I’m not because the ability to be an emu main for this event is simply too enjoyable to actually do that. Also I pulled for kohane birthday to get a 3 star I don’t have (I don’t have a single kohane 4 star and her challenge show score needs serious help) and got Jack shit so I need to make up that 3000 crystal deficit somehow.

4t2 Crystal Creations Stuff Pack (+ Bonus Items)

Here's a conversion of all items from Crystal Creations stuff pack plus some of its debug items and as a bonus - other stuff from Sims 4 similar to the topic. Everything is quarter tile placeable, smooth and non shiny meshes - my usual routine.

Slots on all surfaces/shelves:

Included are a ton of deco crystals in different sizes (not smoothed out and EXTRA shiny lol):

The big tree in the background is an outdoor lamp (changes texture when lit because it looks like a moonstone 😏):

Pretty Pieces Display Box comes in two versions - deco (repositoried) and functional (sells jewelry on community lots, cloned from an object by @keoni-chan):

Classically Cool Sales Table is made to be used in home business, a cash register fits on top and there's a lot of slots for all kinds of goodies:

One tile desk is cloned from a desk by Simfused (Michelle and HeartDeco), which in turn was cloned from a 1 tile desk by Huge Lunatic.

Included are wallpapers converted by @lordcrumps and his collection file with a pretty icon of the new pack (😘). Also, be sure to check @platinumaspiration's converted hair that came with the pack🤗.

Compressed, clearly labelled, picture and collection file are included. Lord Crumps' shadow file is required for the shadows to work correctly (included), delete it if you already have it.

Merle Oberon (Wuthering Heights, The Scarlet Pimpernel)—She was mixed race (born in India and her mother was Sri Lankan) and still managed to make it in the British and American film industries (by passing) despite a rough start in life and industry racism. She was the first Asian person to be nominated for any Academy Award (best actress in 1935)! She also survived a car accident in 1937 and kept on acting until 1973, despite potentially career-ending facial scars. Also, she met her third husband while they were filming a movie together in 1973 (her last movie and she still looks great!). They fell in love and got married in 1975 when she was 62 and he was 36. She died 4 years later in 1979. Iconic.

Jean Seberg (Breathless, Saint Joan)— Some of us watched À bout de souffle as a lil French undergrad and had the trajectory of our lives changed by Jean Seberg. She IS French new wave!! She is the moment!! She sadly had to work with a lot of shitty directors in her career but even so, she has this magnetic energy whenever she’s on screen. In her personal life, she was also very supportive of civil rights causes, and was even targeted/harassed by the FBI for financially supporting the Black Panther Party.
