So imagine all the twist boys in a room with y/n or you or mc, and they were trapped in a room with each other. Well y/n is actively trying to find a way out and one of the twist boys says "Just give up were gonna be stuck here" and y/n slowly turns around and looks all of them dead in the eyes and says in the most menacing voice ever. "I cannot be trapped in a room with all of you for long periods of time.. I need a break, plus what if we starve hmm? I will resort to cannibalism. Also Azul is looking quite tasty..."

Update on the fem sweet painter of eerie things....

I've finally given it a title "The Sweet Painter of Twisted Things" and have officially finished Riddle and Leona's part yaaaaaaayyyyy...

That sounds so much worse typed out, but the parts are so much longer than I thought I'd write in the beginning 🧍🏽‍♀️

I will say this is my first time making fanfiction (NOT AN EXCUSE FOR TAKING SO LONG I PINKY PROMISE) so I'm wanting for this to be perfect in grammar and in portrayal of each character 😭😭

Starting this week I am going to be laser focused on this ask, I pinky promise.

Seriously, what's wrong with Deuce being a cop? He can be one of the good cop characters. It's not like all cop characters in fiction are just as bad as the real life ones.

Okay so, for me personally there's multiple ways I look at Deuce's "dream" of becoming a cop and what that means

First of all, the concept of a "good cop" is an oxymoron. Because cops work for a corrupt system. The police system itself is corrupt and full of shit, and the rules cops follow are meant to uphold the standards that benefit that broken system.

There's no reason to assume TWST works in a different way than our world when it comes to that, because TWST still canonically has a bunch of political themes that reflect how the way things work in our world, like Kalim's and Jamil's whole social standing storyline and the whole concept of the Asim family that I won't get into currently. So there's no reason to assume that, somehow, TWST's police system works in a completely revolutionized way that is free from corruption and bigotry and bad practices that reflect our own world's. Hence, just like in real life, acab.

But now from a character and narrative standpoint, Deuce being a cop doesn't really offer anything good for his story. Deuce was a troubled kid- he lashed out because he wasn't offered the support he needed and the people in power (mainly the school staff and teachers and stuff) did not help him because he did not fit the system. Deuce had to mold himself to fit in because if he didn't his family would suffer the consequences for it. There's literally no narrative pay-off for him to become one of the rule enforcers himself. Deuce could try to become "one of the """good cops""""" but I really doubt someone so passionate and honest and caring and heartfelt like him would be able to handle working in such a system for any amount of time. The reason why Deuce THINKS cops are good is because he's still young and has the vision of "I was a rule breaker and that was bad, so those that enforce the rules and peace have to be good", but that's just a reflection of his youth and naivety due to him being just a kid.

That's why for me personally, Deuce becoming a teacher assistant or a student counselor would fit a lot better for his development as a character, so he can offer the help he needed back then to troubled kids that still need it.

What makes you reblog a post? Like, I've got a friend who adores your work and would literally die if they got reblogged by someone like you, but she's not having much luck getting her TWST posts noticed. So basically, I wanna know what makes a post stand out to you? What makes it reblog worthy?

Honestly, I really just reblog/post whatever I feel like?

It depends on my mood for the day. Though, I have a few mutuals on here who have been sweet to me, so I always support and try to like/reblog their work.

Not to sound cheesy but I dont think someone should worry about likes and reblogs. I know that might be easy to say from my "position". (Of which I really have none.)

But honestly this blog is just for me. I only started it bc my friend  @bunnwich pushed me so much to get my art out there and come out of my shell. But

And I cannot stress this enough. Even if I didn't have a blog and people didn't like or reblog my content I would still be making it. That's what I was doing before for literal years. (That's why I have so much old art/memes to post.) We were laughing at Twist for a whole YEAR before we made blogs, just the two of us.

I didn't get noticed much in the beginning ethier, but please believe me when I tell you that you will drive yourself insane if you only create for other people (likes/reblogs).

I know it can be disheartening to put yourself out there and get no interest and I don't really have much advice except, just create for yourself. And if you want to be more involved with the fandom as a whole try to interact and talk with more people!

Send them asks about their ocs, show interest, and in return others will do that as well usually.  I'm the crown leader of shyness, but my friend really hammered that into me! And I still struggle with it.

I don't do anything special and I'm not anyone special. I'm literally just a person hunched over my computer gigging about silly anime men.

Also not to sound rude but there's no such thing as "reblog worthy" that sounds silly to me. I like what I like and other people like what they like.

We're all just people and fans of the same thing. I just put my love and creativity into what I want and share what I feel like sharing.

Just being genuine I think can attract people in a way?
