Intro ➯| Hi hello, if you’re looking to give the icon a name, I go by Jude. I am 27 years old and live in the Midwest (CST) I would say that I’m a fairly laid back writing partner with a wide arrange of interests. However, if you’re looking for someone to write slice of life, cheerleader and bad boy, fluff or purely smut I may not fall exactly into that category. However, I have been writing for well over 13 years (YIKES) and love diving into new and expansive stories!

 Content I enjoy/prefer ➯ | I feel as though it is important to put the content I prefer above writing preferences just so it is clear and I don't waste anyone's time ♡ I will always, always, always prefer writing dark content above anything else. This means mature themes such as addictions, crime, toxic relationships, gangs,  apocalyptic, dystopian, angst and drama will always come first. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I don't writing anything other than that. I've written and enjoyed celebrity and small town plots before but preferred them if they involved some of the themes I have listed above ( I almost never deny them! )

 I have almost no major triggers but would prefer to discuss any you may have as to respect those boundaries ♡ As for smut, I would prefer it not to be the main focus of our stories. It can be involved, just not majorly. I do primarily f x m and f x f. Everyday I am gaining new inspiration for characters through various types of media.  I would say that my writing style could be defined as strictly literate. Which means when I send a reply, it should be expected that I will send multiple paragraphs in response. This doesn't necessarily mean that I expect the same in return either! I would much rather have quality over quantity as long as we are both having fun and enjoying ourselves ♡ Nothing makes me happier than world building as well!~ If world building is ever an option, I always much prefer it! I believe that the more characters are involved, the more chances there are for character development and various obstacles to create. I think always having extra characters to stir the pot makes things SO interesting. I also prefer not be the one to only write the male roles and prefer if you’re upfront and honest when it comes to playing male roles. Please do not be open to doubling if its just a means to getting a ship that you’ve been wanting. I will more than likely notice. That means not favoring and only responding to roles where I play male and neglecting the roles where I play a female. Keep it fair. Partners also must be 21+ and understand that replies will not always be quick and fast. I work often and am working on my personal art business which means I may be online and responding when it comes to just having fun and chatting, plotting, head-canoning and sending ideas -- but I could be working on art on the side as well! Nothing makes me happier than having a partner where we both respect when each other is busy or when we are taking a moment for either personal reasons or mental health. I also prefer to use real face claims as opposed to drawings/anime/etc.  Helpful info ➯ | If you have any triggers, anything that is off limits, anything that makes you uncomfortable PLEASE do not feel shy to let me know ahead of time. Even during, before, or after a reply. DO NOT HESITATE. It does not matter at all the time, what matters to me is your comfort and your boundaries. I will not be upset, and I will completely understand. As for my triggers and my boundaries, I do not do any plots involving minors, massive age gaps, incest, bathroom kinks, or vore . If you are hoping for a major choice to be made, please feel free to do it if you feel this would add to the story – HOWEVER, if it involves something extreme being said or done to my character, I would prefer this to be discussed with me beforehand. The podcast turned out a little different than I intended. Or, better said, very different. It's not about veterans anymore. Except for me, I'm still a veteran and I'm in it. But it turned into a true crime podcast. Probably way more interesting to most people. You can thank my flatmate for that, @detectivesholmes. Now the podcast is about him and his work. I'm documenting his adventures. Being a detective, solving crimes, and all that. And, of course, about his own brilliant and bizarre self. I even named it after him, Sherlock & Co. If you wonder who the Co. is, that's me. The first episode is fully dedicated to him and our first meeting. It's called Mr. Sherlock Holmes. Finally got done with the editing. I’m a multiple paragraphs/novella style writer. I love to write detailed descriptions and delve into a character’s head/emotions as well as surroundings. I compare it to writing a novel together. Not every reply has to be novella length, however. If there are action or dialogue heavy scenes, I tend to do a shorter back and forth to keep the momentum going. 

I only do MxF (with me writing the female role). I don’t double, but I’m more than happy to write side characters of either gender to help move the story along. I only want female authors writing male characters as I’ve had bad experiences with cis male authors. (Trans men and nonbinary pals are exceptions).

I'm really hoping to find a friendship, someone who can add to our story, and most importantly, someone who wants a long-term connection. It's difficult for me to write with someone if I don't feel that genuine bond. It's also important to me to have a high level of activity, with at least one reply a day. 

If you suddenly stop replying ic and ooc, I'll drop the story after 2 attempts of gauging interest spaced a week apart. But feel free to message me if you want to pick the story back up again, even months later.

An excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization. (Literate to advanced writers only, please. I'm not looking for newbies)

Plot before smut. While mature themes will be in my writing, there needs to be chemistry between our characters. I normally do a 60/40 plot to smut ratio and my characters tend to be subs/switches depending on the circumstances 

 An older male character (early forties to mid-late fifties). I love the gruff and tough men with dark pasts who secretly have a soft heart. I also love grumpy, hypermasculine men being intimidated by sweet but fiery women. My characters are mid-late twenties to early-mid thirties so the age gap is legal. 

Enthusiasm to chat about our character and ship, how to crush them and then gushing over fluffy moments. I love crying over characters and what the heck they’re doing. I want my heart ripped from my chest from angst, then feeling like it’s going to burst from overwhelming cuteness. I want us to love these characters and the world we create. I want to make pinterest boards, spotify playlists, graphics, and toss headcanons back and forth until late at night. 

Have an idea for a scene? Found a picture that inspired you? Send it to me! Be invested when it comes to plotting/worldbuilding. There’s nothing worse than receiving one sentence in reply to two paragraphs of ideas, or having a doormat partner who says “sure” to whatever I ask. Building ideas one on top of the other, watching them snowball into amazing plot threads brings me joy. But having to pull plot ideas like I’m pulling teeth makes me think you’re not interested, and I will lose interest in return.
