Also, what’s a good follower celebration thing to do? I keep trying to find lists of “Send me this AU and a character and I’ll write something” or other stuff besides sentence starters.

I’m honestly not the best with “oh we’ve hit this many followers, let’s do a celebration thing!” So if you guys had any ideas of something fun then lmk!

One of my favorite tropes is two characters being trapped alone together and either having to work out their differences or admit their feelings, so please enjoy an array of sentence starters based in this idea. TW for being trapped, mentions of death, change pronouns and tense as necessary!

Hi Steddie friends and welcome to Steddiemas! A brand new winter and holiday-themed fan event for the month of December.

I, @steddieasitgoes (aka Dani aka wanderlustxprincess since Tumblr sucks and won't let me respond from a side blog!) am currently creating 31 themed prompts for everyone to take inspiration from for this event. I'm doing this a little differently than some other fanwork events, in that every day of the week has a different theme that prompts will then relate to.

Those themes will be:

Movie & Music Mondays -- Steddie can be watching, singing, listening, or talking about the song/movie in the prompt, or you can use it as an AU prompt!

Trope Tuesdays -- Each Tuesday will feature a different trope that you should incorporate into your creative work!

Winter Wednesdays - All prompts will be winter activity-themed!

Take Me There Thursdays -- Each Thursday will feature two locations to pick from. What Steve and Eddie do while there is up to you!

Festive Fridays - All prompts will be holiday activity-themed!

Sentence Starter Saturdays - I'll give you a sentence to use in or as inspiration for your creative work!

Smut Sundays - Help Steve and Eddie earn a spot at the top of the year's naughty list! Must be 18+ to participate and all characters must be 18+.

The prompts will be released in weekly batches starting in November so you can start working on your creations early. Posting will begin on December 1st and end on the 31st. But don't worry late works will be accepted!

Since this is a "steddiemas" celebration, steddie should be featured; however, I am open to works with other pairings/ships. Just make sure to tag accordingly! Feel free to post every day or pick and choose which days to participate in! There is absolutely no pressure!

And yes, I'm aware its barely October but I'm excited!

Questions to Provoke Thought

I like being asked questions about my OCs. I like being given prompts for flash fiction. They help me think and help me grow and they help me share something I’m passionate about - the stories and characters I’ve created. alias / name : Melrose, commonly Mel. zodiac sign : Pisces, bby ( no one should be surprised ). height : Round up to 5'3”. hobbies : Writing, watching films/shows, various crafts ( embroidery, jewelry, watercolor, etc ), collecting vinyl records, photography, gardening ( edibles... veg, fruit, herbs, flowers ). favorite color : Pinks, plural. current book : Kinda on a break... but I have to finish: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Star Wars: Leia Princess of Alderaan, Jane Eyre, The Face on the Milk Carton. last song : Mr. Percocet by Noah Cyrus, like ten times in a row ( the way she sings... "You, are malevolent and benevolent. You are the devil that I revel in"... just scratches the right spot in my brain idk ). last film/show : Currently rewatching Nine Perfect Strangers. inspiration : There's so many influences and inspirations here! I pick and choose articles, items, and tropes... sometimes they pick her, sometimes my partners throw me things that stick. If I could only choose one though... Helen of Troy is the archetype that I build upon. Which is why you'll see a few Helen things floating in my headcanons tag and not just my inspo tag. And have at least one tag inspired by Her. story behind url : It translates to "little god". She's physically small, internally immense. And religion as non-religion has always been a thematic element around these parts. I like the idea of finding God in a Girl and said Girl finding God in other things and people. I could ramble on this but that's the short of it. ( Fun fact of relevance, if you ever see me capitalizing something that normally wouldn't be... like Her, when it's not a sentence starter or something else... it's a stylistic choice playing off how God's name and/or pronouns are sometimes capitalized. Sometimes it's for fun or vibes of current thread, sometimes it's me trying to point out something uber important ).
