denki — his head in your lap as you play with his hair, painting his nails, drawing hearts on his hands, listening to music in the kitchen, facetiming all night, matching onsies, doing his eyeliner, going to n arcade and beating him at every game, whispering and giggling in class.

shoto — telling each other all your problems, admiring how pretty you are in class, best friends to lovers, stargazing, flustered at any physical affection you give him, painting with him, moving your hair out of your face for you, cheek kisses.

sero — teaching you to skateboard, getting fast food at 1am, having his arm slung over your shoulder, movie dates, laying on the roof together, giving you his jacket when your cold, hugging you from behind, doing facemasks together.

shinsou — gossiping at 5am, annoying you to get your attention, being protective over you, sneaking over to his dorm, sarcastic nicknames, cooking for you, playing video games all night, messing with his hair.

jirou — listening to music, holding hands, teasing each other, her doing your makeup, being flustered around you, teaching you guitar, painting her nails, late night phone calls, wearing her band shirts, concert dates, dragging her out of bed, cuddling.

ochako — watching studio ghilbi movies, small pecks on the lips n cheek, giving her gifts, always checking up on you, being taller than her, study dates, best friends to lovers fr, her being flustered over everything, walking around the city at night.

toga — her doing your hair so you can match, deep n long talks on the roof, going to the convince store at 3am, gushing over how cute and pretty you are, being gentle around you, hugging you 24/7, patching her up after a fight, constantly reminding you how much she loves you.

this man uses so many abbreviations that even if you think you use a lot just know you're learning a new one everyday. not even kidding makes up his own shit. once sent mina "lmkiydthesicci" and nobody could figure out wtf he meant. lowkey flirting with every mssg he sends. every single person in the class, girl or not has received a message from him that just says "hey bbg ;)". he received a very long lecture from iida and a very confused reply from todoroki. todoroki didn't actually know wtf bbg meant. thought he misspelled bbq at first.

🪨Kirishima🪨

unironically sends messages that just say "rawr". uses the :} face a lot bc he thinks it looks like his unbreakable.

🐙Mezou Shoji🐙

i feel like he has such a low screentime that if anyone needs to text him he's only available for like an hour a day. accidentally leaves ppl on read. messages seem very bland usually.

❄️Shoto Todoroki🔥

another bland person but tbh hes the worst out of them all. like he can look at a whole paragraph asking him if he wants to go to the movies with the rest of the class and all he will reply with is just "ok." uses periods at the end of every message but I swear he's not mad.

💥 Bakugo💥

if he receives any messages past 8pm the "reply" will be you getting left on delivered even if he's still up, or a message just saying "shut the fuck up and go to bed.". also bland but he's more of a "k" bland rather than a "ok." bland.

🥦Izuku Midoryia🥦

he will not even kidding receive a message that just says "hi" and will send a whole paragraph that is basically just a lengthened "hi! how are you?". uses the smiley emoji a lot.

💫Momo Yaoyorozu💫

lots of ! at the end of messages, you can feel the happiness through your phone screen. uses heart emojis at the end of messages and memorizes the meaning of each color so she can use them accordingly.

🖤Shihai Kuroiro🖤

another :} user, sometimes uses :] but mainly :}. only ever texts ppl at hours like 2-4 am. you cant convince me he gets enough sleep.

👔Neito Monoma👔

you think hed text you?/j kinda just an average texter, any message about class 1a will be in all caps.

😈Dabi😈

oh look. another bland ass texter, at least he takes the time to actually type out "okay," only sends emojis if he's talking about how weird the emoji looks.

uses :] all the time. not :}, or :). just :]. if anyone texts her, even if its just a simple "hi." and she isn't busy, congrats you've agreed to a 3 hour face time call.

he leaves everyone on read. if you question why he left you on read all you're getting is an "if its so important then talk to me face to face."

so you know how earlier i said you were lucky Iida didnt start with "I hope this message finds you well,"? your luck ran out. he writes it like you're a long distant friend who he is sending some fancy ass shit letter to. not even kidding ends each message with "--Compress."

types so fast his phone doesnt even register his hands. half his messages be looking like "se tht ouds ood". he doesn't even bother to edit it or correct himself.

he texts like a dad. texting this mf be like:

miss girl uses so many ;) that its hard to tell if shes suggesting something weird or not. ended every greetings message with that one kissy emoji.

uses the 🙂 all the time because he thinks it looks like him. it does.

lots of !!! and :D, also uses the :> a lot lol. lots of blue heart emojis aswell.

🦋Tamaki Amajiki🦋

sends articles about different butterflies he likes or thinks the person he sends it to would like along with a message along the lines of "I think this fits you :]". rarely texts first but when he does he clicks send and sitts on the other side of the bed as his phone while staring at it intensely, just waiting for the reply notif. wont actually read the reply for a good minute.

🐈‍⬛Hitoshi Shinsou🐈‍⬛

sends photos of random animals he sees while out and about. usually just cats. (no way this man doesn't feed the strays around ua) another person that only texts at night time.

This is the second time I’ve done Gravitation crossover stuff with these lads, lmao. Gravitation played a pivotal role in my adolescent development, what can I say? In this AU, Shouto isn’t an actual asshole, like Yuki, but an accidental asshole.

I’m not 100% on who Izuku’s bandmates are. Either Jirou and Bakugou or Jirou and Shinshou, I think.

The importance of self love in BNHA

Bnha has themes of forgiveness,redemption,friendship,and love (not just romantic! Platonic and family love too),but I think one of the most important aspects of the series is the lesson of self love and self acceptance. The first characters I think of when I say this are Toga and Katsuki,but it's very apparent in a lot of the characters and their development.

Katsuki's journey of self worth:

Katsuki's arc of self acceptance is something I've talked about before,but I think it's important to bring up self love just as much. Because,obviously,Katsuki hated himself in the beginning of the series. Like most bullies insecurity was the biggest reason behind his mistreatment of others. (This doesn't excuse or justify those actions though! It's an explanation,not an excuse) But,he's come a long way from this,he's grown to see other's worth and his OWN. I think one of the most underrated Katsuki moments is in chapter 358 (it's probably because he died a couple chapters after this that it wasn't as talked about as much)

Katsuki himself knows he's different,he understands that he's grown to be better. He's accepted himself. And he doesn't HATE accepting himself,if anything he's proud of it. This is where self love comes into play. Obviously Katsuki's been on a rather difficult journey in accepting his weakness/shortcomings,but with chapter 404 that's when I feel we start seeing the real,100% authentic,Katsuki.

Since Katsuki saved All Might he's been able to accept himself,love him self. And this is IMPORTANT. With Ochako's goal to show how heroes/villains are humans and need to be treated as such,that they deserve love and support,self love would be important,because Katsuki isn't just accepting himself as a hero,but as a person.

Hand Hold:

This is one of the reasons the hand hold between Izuku and Katsuki is SO important. Izuku doesn't think of himself as a human,he's so selfless that it's a negative trait for him. When Katsuki and Izuku have the hand hold in the movie,it's Katsuki taking Izuku's lead,to SAVE to win,this hand hold would be Izuku following Katsuki's lead to seeing himself as human,accepting himself,and loving himself. If we think of the past chapters and when it brings up Katsuki,Izuku is following his lead.

When previously Katsuki was following Izuku's lead. That's why 'save to win' is so important. They're two halves of one whole. They embody the extreme of both sides of the heroic spectrum. One of them wants to win,the other wants to save,and they're the strongest when they do both. The only time they're even stronger than that is when they're working together. This wraps up BOTH of their character arcs. Since Katsuki first started his self loathing when a quirkless Izuku reached out to him,and to completely accept his weakness and past,he has to take quirkless Izuku's hand.

And for Izuku to feel comfort and support as a human,to feel self love,and to see himself as more than a hero but as he has to take the hand of the person closest to him. Katsuki's hand. (Not my words,Afo/shiggy said it!)

Ochako's Hero Journey:

Ochako started being a hero for monetary gain,since she grew up poor and wanted to help her parents. But,she's matured and grown up a lot since then (NOT SAYING WANTING TO HELP YOUR PARENTS IS CHILDISH,I'M JUST SAYING SHE HAS MORE PERSPECTIVE NOW) and now she wants to save/protect the heroes and the villains,to show their humanity. (Which is such a beautiful message that gets overlooked for Ochako's character a lot).

But,of course,Ochako isn't only teaching self love,she's learning it. I feel her crush on Izuku made her want to be selfless,just like him,but she realized Izuku was a HUMAN,not just hero Deku,and she wanted to save him. She admired Izuku so much she felt she had to be like him,which of course she ended up hurting herself because of.

I feel her falling out of love with Izuku shows how much she's become her OWN person and hero,which is what I think Horikoshi's approach was when writing her. Unlike the usual female character who's only important because she's a love interest (in shonen most of the time),Ochako has proven herself as a hero,not just a love interest. Which,instead of being in love with Izuku,she has self love. Now,Toga! Her being in love with Toga is important to the concept of self love as well. Since they're supposed to parallel one another,Ochako falling in love with a villain,someone she wants to protect and save,this is Ochako's hero story,and Toga completes this for her.

With Toga saving Ochako looking like a mix of them is showing Toga's love for Ochako,and vice versa,so it's them loving themselves,accepting themselves.

Toga calling back to the whole "I'm weird" is them both accepting themselves and each other. I mean,their whole fight was about talking about and accepting their feelings. About loving themselves and each other.

These four really show the arc of self love and acceptance that makes this story so GOOD. I also feel this is why so many queer people enjoy Bnha and resonate with these characters.
