first of all, all of the gowns look so fun and pretty and they’re all perfect for sn era. i like the first ellie saab couture dress but i feel like the flowers with the sleeves is a bit too distracting, still its v cute so 7.8/10, now the second zuhair murad couture custom gown is so perfectly pink i love it! 8/10. and the third nicole + felicia couture custom is PERFECT. the color the sparkles and the vibes of it make me so🥹🥹 9/10.
red era:
the first ashish shirt and the hat combo is iconic, A LOT going on at the moment makes me so BRRR, 8.5/10, when taylor takes off the shirt we can fully see the red ombre bodysuit and its GORGEOUS 9/10 and with the coat its 9/10 still (i love the coat combo w the bodysuit) overall, this ashish custom shirt bodysuit and coat all together looks so cool and blends so well with the red era i luv it!🫶🏻

folklore in itself is in my top 3 fav ts albums, the looks she chose for this era are all so perfect i might pass out. all of the alberta ferretti custom dresses look so ethereal and fits this era so well, giving me stevie nicks, florence welsh, daisy jones vibes SO PERFECT, the first 3 dresses are 10/10, and the fourth green dress is 12/10, seriously my favorite on this tour, looks so ethereal and perfect im obssesedd🤭🤭💗

unpopular opinion: i don’t really like this roberto cavalli custom crop top and skirt combo, i like the custom louboutin boots and i like that they all match but the swarovski work diamonds puts me off idk. the pink and the orange one is 7/10 for me, the green combo is my fav 8/10 !! still so cute tho🥰
and finally, midnights era:
this custom oscar de la renta jacket is to die for, i love how it references the lavender haze mv, however the dress itself is a bit bland for me and i don’t like the match with the louboutin boots 8/10. Alright you asked for distraction. So... next shuffle is gonna be Yuzuru, Ibara (YES I WIN), Rinne, Subaru, and Tomoya, right? I'm personally hoping that Tomoya will center cause it'd be hilarious.
So next shuffle's probably in a few months, and since we got the current one in november, we're probably skipping the winter season. So for theme I'm guessing...
Fairytale prince? Would be fitting for tomoya center subaru 5*. I think Rinne's gonna be hilarious and I'm gonna point and laugh at him.
I'm personally hoping for no military theme cause it'll tip things too much to ibara and yuzuru's direction.
If Tomoya can fully embrace his normal-ness we can do a "next-door-neighbor" theme. You know, like... the childhood friend kind of MV. They'd have... idk... jacket and a single rolled up pant leg or something... And you'd get them walking to school together or something. I know this is not realistic. I want to see Ibara and Yuzuru and Rinne pretend to be normal kids. It would be funny...
Demons. Okay, so hear me out, both Subaru and Tomoya had Japanese Oni themed scouts. So a demon theme would be neat to see for them (a bit of sexy rights for these two who don't get that treatment very often) and suitable for the other three.
Yeah I don't have other thoughts or ideas for this one...
I still think that's one of the funniest possible shuffle unit outcomes they literally put Tomoya together with the guy that's so polite it's a little concerning, the guy that pretends to be some evil mastermind, sparkle boy and Rinne Amagi. Amazing I bet the story will be so dope!
Also yeah fairytale princess that's a very early spring theme I can see that as a concept ohhh I hope they do that I wanna see Rinne get fine-ified it would be so off brand but I think he could work it somehow
yeah same tbh I don't really like military themed stuff in general but it also would be Very ibayuzu focused which. the likelyhood is there I'm sure it could be good but again. hm.

Demons also such a banger concept they could all pull it off we know Yuzu looks good in that kinda aesthetic and I just checked out the Subaru cards he looks so awesome woah,, and Rinne is tall and red and he has the perfect grin he'd be perfect for that!
we could also get a valentines day shuffle no? or is that unlikely because there's already like two of those and fine already had a valentines day song so Yuzu already got the valentines treatment? I don't think it'll be another easter one they already did that and guessing by the time frames between the shuffles it's every 2-3 months right??
Alternatively there's also clubbing shuffle which is really basic but fun and it's a little more adultish which is something Tomoya and Subaru don't really get often, But mind you I mean the Dance Floor kinda clubbing and not the Night Club kinda clubbing,, I'd also love t if they go full 80s on this one but that would not happen I am 100% certain that would not happen

WayV white girl witch coven 🤣😭 Tarot card concept when!!! In all seriousness though when I really thought about it, it's just some plastic crowns and candles, but they look so expensive somehow. Sorry my very non-aesthetic self don't have any better ways of describing it, but WayV just always looked luxurious to me even back in their Regular days. Their MV felt textually so much more luscious than the 127 version, ironic because 127 lyrics was more explicit about being rich. I recall you saying before that WayV's stylist is one of the few that gets luxury fashion right. With the seasons greetings though, you literally can't even see their outfits beyond "is black". Is it the blurred effect feeding into it? I would love to hear you talk more about what contributes to this kind of look and how their stylists achieve it!
oh a lot of the heavy lifting is done by the fact that wayv literally just look expensive. as a group they have a high percentage of very attractive people, even for kpop standards. basically it's a lot of subconscious association that the stylists + designers are using to make them look expensive, starting with:
pretty people are associated with wealth
technology is associated with wealth
visible and obvious luxury brand logos
the thing about 127's regular is that i think the overtness of the lyrics is intentionally played off of the setting that they're in to make a cute lil ironic comment in the 'started from the bottom now we here' kind of way. for the 127 mv they film in a lot of on location, cramped spaces that are visually crowded with stuff and closer to the dingy side. they also shoot at a bunch of places that are not usually associated with wealth at all (at least to me as a westerner), like arcades, a pool hall, and a go kart track. the only remotely 'expensive' looking place they use is that gold backdrop that i'd be willing to bet is in a hotel lobby. they also use a lot of smoke and bright neon + warm tone lighting. all of these things are generally associated with kitsch, which in turn is commonly perceived to be lower class. there's also very few visible luxury logos; they are wearing a fair amount of designer, but unless you can recognize the burberry or loverboy plaids, it's almost impossible for a normal person to tell. also their 'main' outfits are just embellished suit jackets, which are actually not at all a common sight in the luxury fashion industry. it is however, a very common signifier of 'fancy' in the kpop industry, and has been for a long time. all of this together tells me that they were not really intending for this mv or for 127 to 'look expensive', they were intending for them to look like grimy lil fratboys playing at having too much money.
wayv's regular, on the other hand, is textbook luxury through and through. it's entirely cool tone, clean lines, technofuturist branding. their styling does not use any of the 'matching' type boy group outfits that appear in the 127 regular mv, and there's more visible logoing and use of fabrics and textures associated with ostentation, like heavy patterning and velvet. plus the two lv pieces and the two (i think?) burberry shirts. although i would not call this mv minimalist, there's also a fair amount of negative space, and minimalism + large empty spaces are usually assiocated with wealth bc of the luxury of having that space. i'd be willing to be that 90% of their sets are custom built, and those sets are all places that are associated with money: an indoor pool, a european style theatre, a stock exchange, inside a computer server room, and a LOT of digital screens and visible (expensive) equipment. plus they also set up the techno-branding with see+feel the v, which lends a longer intention to the mv itself. sm is presenting wayv as these highly, highly expensive perfect technological constructs that are above you in status. and that initial branding has filtered subconsciously into how we view them now, even if the concept doesn't strictly match.
also specifically for the seasons greetings: how they made that look 'expensive' is by:
specifically blocking out the clothing + keeping the focus on their faces
using crown props (subconscious royalty association)
applying a heavy filter that fuzzes out the details and pumps up the shine, which draws a lot of attention to the gold accents (gold = wealth)
using a theme that's associated with expensive rocks

The Transformation Scene was so cool.
I get why they couldn't let Kanon transform, and honestly I was never a fan of the Kanon Specter suit, but it still would've been nice if they filmed a fight scene for her prior to the suit's scrapping.
Tsukuyomi was great, even if the Jacket contradicted her usual Colour scheme.
The Girls' fight scene was so cool.
The old musical cues and background music, and Cherry-ish!!
KR Aguilera restyling is still strange.
Miss Titan's backstory is almost a 'blink and you miss it' thing.
Hana deciding to basically Adopt Yuriko was sweet.
The Photoshoot scene was nice.
Loved Izu's joke. Not that it was funny.
Honestly, other than the dialogue calling them sisters, everything here otherwise felt in character to their subtle gay relarionship in the show.

The actual photoshoot itself wasn't that in character, but that's not a simple thing to do.
This whole special was pretty good.
Though could've ditched the attempted straightification.

Girls Remix or: Lady Riders and Companions Get More Screentime, to Everyone's Delight
I don't think Hana's feelings were just jealousy per se. I think part of her resents Sakura seemingly placing more importance on blood family as one's "actual family". With how Sakura acted over her finding a possible blood relative, it kinda looked like Sakura didn't think found family was just as important, even though that was all Hana had.
Hana could always do Restyles- her Driver's just same as Sakura's, just modified slightly to fit her aesthetic better. They were both designed by Masumi after all.
Honestly Riot in Bloom MV made me a bit uncomfy in light of some of the stuff that since came out about Yui Asakura. Apparently she's not very comfortable doing gravure-type things, and the MV comes off as very gravure-like to me. The song itself is pretty good though, and if it doesn't confirm SakuHana as canon then I don't know what does.
Ironically, Kanon Spectre was apparently scrapped and reused as parts for Aguilera. So yeah there was no way those two suits were appearing together. Hence Kanon not transforming.
My favorite bit was all the civilian fights though. Koichi Sakamoto, who directed the movie, seems to like them quite a bit. I love that they went out of their way to use the main fight themes for the ladies' respective main Riders- for example, when Akiko was slippering those mooks to submission, the BGM was Hard-boiled. (Yes, that really is the title for that specific BGM.)
I need a photobook for that photoshoot. I won't mind spending money on it because they all look so beautiful goddamnit.

Channeling unprocessed class and injustice rage through BTS and In the SOOP is a mistake, I think.
A lot of people have this problem about, very specifically, the soop 'mcmansions'. I get it, but that strikes me as slightly tinged with elitist snobbery and not so much about social justice at all. The phrase 'conspicuous consumption' means different things and looks different depending on the history and class identity of the persons in question. The idol industry itself often trades on aesthetics of beauty as well as certain fantasies of opulance. But it isn't very often I see other groups criticized in the way these 'mcmansion' sets have people criticizing. Is it really a question of social justice? Or one of taste? Do people require a simulacrum of modest means or 'relatability'? It is all a bit loaded.
I agree with your assessment about SOOP being a set, Rosie. Money was invested into a set, and it will probably be used for more than for more than a single purpose. It is no different from the remarkable practical sets that designers and builders make for many BTS MVs. Or maybe it is real estate they plan to sell or rent. Who can say?
People like to grand stand and make it sound simple, like they would for sure be more thoughtful and virtuous with that money if it was them etc. But that is about appearances. The appearances of the SOOP bother some people. The fact of Hybe being a billion dollar company doesn't? We say millionaires are alienating. Millionaires ARE alienating. And the whole concept of someone being able to be a billionaire and someone not being able to afford insulin or surgery in the same society should make everyone very angry. It is disgusting. No arguments. But BTS are neither the cause, solution or embodiment of those social problems. BTS are singers, dancers, composers, producers, artists and businessmen to some degree. They aren't going to solve the wealth gap by pretending to live in a small house.
We all have or don't have levels of privilege and access depending on a lot of factors. People criticizing HYBE's decisions probably also make individual financial decisions that would make others around the world and in their own country sick. Capitalism just be like that.
What I don't get is why people like to cherry pick certain expenditures and not others. Why is wearing a 2000$ jacket cool but building a set for a tv show not cool? A lot of people are hung up on a certain image or aesthetics of wealth. It can be seen in the old money vs new money binary. Is it ok to have millions sitting in the bank as long as you don't wave it around? And why do some artists get a pass but others don't? Do some people fit the societal 'rags to riches' myth better than others, so it is more acceptable for them to give tours of closets full of Birkins?
If BTS lived in more "tasteful" and modest accommodations during their stay in the SOOP, would that avoid the criticism? Maybe it is the aesthetic of opulance that people find vulgar. But isn't just cosmetics? Bts are still spending loads of money on everything to do with industry and treating themselves too, as wealthy people do. Cash is invested into the business, and cash gets made. BTS and Hybe are responsible for the existence of many jobs. That's a good thing. The SOOP houses are a drop in the pond compared the the flow of all that is going on there.
Look into the work practices and manufacturing processes of any given company and there may be questionable things. It is extremely rare, maybe even impossible, for consumerism to be 100% ethical. Where do the products you own come from? Who is getting paid what to make them? Who has majority shares of the company? Is any of this even avoidable? (I don't know because I am not an social scientist, economist or some kind of genius).
People see celebrities as symbolic of the best and worst of society and wealth disparity. It is like Marie Antoinette syndrome or something. It can get dehumanizing when people are turned into symbols of vulgarity or purity, waste or virtue.
In my opinion people concerned about the nightmares of late capitalism shouldn't look to BTS as their conduit of rage. That energy could be better spent elsewhere. To me, BTS are a net good. They make millions of people genuinely happy. They make beautiful art and connect a lot of people. They give back to society and have a record of being socially conscious. A mcmansion isnt going to change any of that.

Late Stage Swiftgron Part 1
Update from November 2021 - I really don’t believe much of this is meaningful at all. I don’t think they’re sitting around referencing one another on social media or anything but some of Dianna’s interactions with Karlie are interesting Dianna shows up explicitly in Taylor’s life a couple more times so I’m leaving these sections here.;
From here on out everything but the 2014 AMAs and Dianna’s somewhat shocking appearance at Taylor’s 2019 SNL performance are just odd social media shenanigans (or subtweets) between the two, and Taylor appearing to release at least one more song about Dianna (Babe in 2018) (and let’s be honest you can make a strong argument for The 1 being about Dianna as well other post 1989 songs.)
Some of this might be complete crack or coincidence but as you all know I want this to be the most thorough Swiftgron document possible.
If anything it proves they both certainly still have similar interests and they really do seem to be in touch.
There are some interactions claimed by others to be Swiftgron related that I’m not going to include because they’re just a bit too reachy for me (though I completely support the theorizing!) but in general, if I personally can see the hint of a Swiftgron connection, I’m going to include it here.
Draw your own conclusions and take everything, particularly the alleged subtweets/social media shenanigans, with a grain of salt.
And yes there’s tons of Kaylor and other Gaylor/Gaygron content that will be left out of this segment because this masterpost is focused on Swiftgron. Someday it would be cool to make a giant masterpost/timeline that documents all of it, but for now it’s just going to be Swiftgron stuff.
August 26, 2014 - Dianna tweets, and then deletes “Withdrawals, clearly…we had fun.”
There’s no screen shot of this tweet but some retweets/responses of it remain:
If Dianna is indeed referencing the song Clean (in which their relationship is compared to an addiction hence, “withdrawals” from it) then Taylor would have had to give her advanced knowledge of the song since 1989 did not come out until October 2014.
Taylor did claim she ran 1989 by the muse that inspired it and they were both in LA in late August 2014. Maybe this is when.
November 1, 2014 - Taylor posts about Clean
November 19, 2014 - The 2014 AMAs Kaylorgron Explosion Extravaganza:
Taylor, Karlie, and Dianna are at the event. Taylor and Karlie are clearly on a date and Dianna is there to present Sam Smith’s performance of I’m not the only one. Dianna seems a bit out of her element/gloomy when interviewed on the red carpet and Taylor flexes Karlie hard, dancing with her throughout the night and even sitting on her lap during an interview.

December 28, 2014 - The writer for the tv show The Originals, Carina Mackenzie, tweeted that 1989 was about Dianna:
It’s of course notable that someone in the industry is “confirming” Swiftgron on main (particularly before gaylor went mainstream with Kaylor being so obvious in 2015/2016) however what’s even more interesting and notable about this tweet is that an actor named Michael Trevino was on the show The Originals and he dated Jenna Ushkowitz from 2011-2014.
Not only that but Michael was at Dianna’s 26th birthday when Taylor was in attendance as well.
It’s possible that Michael witnessed Swiftgron in real life and spilled a bit to the writer of the TV show he was on.
January 5, 2015 - Taylor likes a Swiftgron related post on Tumblr of Dianna saying she’d go on the road with Taylor and carry her bags at the Giffoni Film Festival in 2012:
February 9, 2015 - Style is released as a single
February 13, 2015 - The Kaylor “Best Friends” on a road trip Vogue Spread comes out. You’re probably familiar with it but if you aren’t google it. It’s incredibly romantic and pda filled.
The Style music video is released on this day as well.
We don’t have to go through the whole video but one egg I just have to note is the cave pictured in the MV is in Morocco the same country Dianna seemed to flee to after Swiftgron was outed:
February 14, 2015 - Dianna tweets 143 remember those days (for some reason it has not been deleted) seemingly in response to the Kaylor vogue shoot:
143 is a code that means “I love you” that originated from Mister Rogers. Both Taylor and Dianna have publicly shown that they are fans of his. Taylor has even made certain songs 3 minutes and 41 seconds long seemingly referring to this number and wore a Mister Rogers pin on a jacket for a photoshoot once.
Here’s a bit more in depth analysis on the significance of the 143 post.
This tweet is how we know that it is 100% in Dianna’s character to occasionally subtweet Taylor and why a lot of this social media analysis has been done.
February 16, 2015 - Just two days later Dianna attends a fashion show in which Karlie walks and is noted to “have kept a smirk on her face” during. Dianna doesn’t clap at the end of the show and looks miserable in photos of the event:
February 17, 2015 - Taylor releases Wonderland
I’m going to pause here and discuss the song Wonderland for a brief moment because it is some of the most incredibly airtight evidence for Swiftgron available.
Dianna’s favorite book of all time is Alice in Wonderland. She brought it up in interviews all the time, tweeted about it, auctioned off a signed copy of it for charity, her private Tumblr and instagram account are called whosirmesir which is a reference to it, her private Tumblr is filled with reblogs about Alice, and her public Tumblr was called fell down the rabbit hole.
So the fact that Taylor writes an entire song describing a relationship through the lens of and packing full of references to Alice in Wonderland is incredibly interesting.
Let’s take a look at some of these lyrics:

Fell down the rabbit hole (literally Dianna’s tumblr name and url)
Didn't you flash your green eyes at me (Dianna is famous for her beautiful almost hypnotic green eyes and yes they are green)

And talking turned to screams (seems to reference when they were outed)
You searched the world for something else (Dianna very publicly went travelling around the world right after April 2013 when they seem to break up)
Taylor literally put Dianna’s Tumblr URL in the song. Frankly I’m kind of shocked she released this song at all it is so obviously and clearly about Dianna. Truly a Swiftgron anthem!

March 8, 2015 - Taylor posts Flamingos for her dad’s birthday:
The caption was “Happy Birthday, Dad. Thanks for all the unconditional love, sarcastic comments, and interesting Christmas presents.”
May 1, 2015 - Dianna posts a flamingo for her birthday (post is now deleted):
The caption was “This is 29. Spoiled rotten. Funny enough, at work they were painting the hallways white and the roses (hallway doors) red, then I actually went to Wonderland (@AliceUnderLdn) and came home to a surprise flamingo. Here we go. Another year around the sun…feeling lucky and loved and loved and lucky.”
Taylor also gave Emily, another rumored ex, a flamingo bandana for her birthday. i also think it’s odd that Dianna mentions Wonderland specifically in the post.
January 15, 2016 - Dianna’s engagement to Winston is announced and Kaylors notice Taylor is liking sad posts on Tumblr including several posts related to Clean:

This is actually the second time she has posted this as a throwback photo. She also posted it on February 4, 2016 with simply the caption “TBT” and did not include the “rebel without a clue” bit which is a reference to James Dean (Rebel Without a Cause). She’s never posted the same TBT photo twice before or after this (as of the writing of this post in October 2020).
It I may be permitted to go real far out on a limb here it’s almost as if she wanted people to connect that photo of her in the UK InStyle magazine to James Dean. James Dean is of course the way Taylor describes her lover in the song Style.
At any rate it’s very odd that it’s the only photo she’s posted twice whether it’s related to Taylor or not.
April 25, 2017 - Fans notice Dianna is having her script tattoo removed:
This is significant because a part of the tattoo was dedicated to Alice in Wonderland - it said “We’re all mad here”
Tattoo removal is a years long process:
So it’s possible she started getting it removed around the time that Wonderland came out.
It’s also possible part of the tattoo was dedicated to Lea (the part that said “here I am”) so this whole removal situation is very interesting.
In 2019 she was still getting it removed and commented this at a Cafe Carlyle session:
"i was like i don't know i wanna explain all my tattoos or the one that i'm getting removed on my side...you know you're like...WHATEVER we're stopping we're moving on"

Let's Fall In Love for the Night
Summary: Will just broke up with his boyfriend. Nico offered some consolation. It ended up with some sort of a confession.
Word count: 2500 words || Rating: Teenage and Up Audiences || Read on AO3
Notes: Heavily inspired by "Let's Fall in Love for the Night" by FINNEAS. The first time I heard this song I could only think of Nico pining for Will. And somehow, watching the MV made me think of Will Solace.

It was past eleven in the evening when Nico’s phone lit up, Will’s name on the screen. Nico picked it up. Despite the small fluttering in his chest, he forcefully told himself not to feel too excited. It's nothing special. Will could call him any time of the day (or night). They're best friends.
(Didn’t mean that the word friend could sometimes feel so bitter for Nico)
“Hey, ‘Sup?”
“Oh, hey. You’re not sleeping yet?”
Nico rolled his eyes. “As if you don’t know about me and my sleeping schedule.”
“Ah, the one that I’ve been trying to fix?”
Nico snorted. This was one of the topics that they have gone through for too many times.
“Hey, Neeks. I know that it’s late…”
“It is.”
Will let out a laugh. The kind of strained, forced laugh. Nico immediately straightened up on the couch.
“Will? Everything’s alright?”
Will didn’t say anything for a while, but Nico could hear his slow, heavy breathing. Nico clutched the phone in his hand.
“Hey, Neeks. Can you come over? I think I need a pick-me-up” Will asked, voice heavy with hesitation and uncertainty. But as Nico stood up, his answer was a firm one.
“I’ll be there in 25.”

Nico hated the sight he saw when the door swung open. The tips of Will's lips curled up into a smile when he greeted Nico. But it's the kind of smile that Nico despised. It was a hollow smile, that didn't reach Will's eyes.
“Go get your jacket,” Nico said.
Will raised his eyebrows, still holding the doorknob.
“What?”
“Go get your jacket. We’re going out. Looks like you need some fresh air.”
“At midnight?”
“At midnight.”
Will sighed.
“Okay,” he said. But there was a small smile on his lips.
Nico smiled.
A few minutes later, Will showed up with his blue jacket and blue beanie (it's a nice color on Will. Not that it's important or anything). He had his ukulele in his hand as he walked out of the door.
“Who said you can bring your ukulele?”
Will shrugged as he locked the door. “Well, nobody said that I couldn’t bring it with me.”
Nico rolled his eyes but the small smile on Will’s lips made his heart forgot to beat for a second.
“I’m ready,” Will said, slipping his hands into the pocket of his jacket.
“Come on,” Nico said. “Let’s go and see the stars.”

There was just something about the lights of the city that gave Nico a sense of calmness. That’s why Nico brought Will here, to the hill on the outskirts of the city. They’re sitting on the roof of Nico’s car, legs dangling down as they gazed at the velvet night sky. Nico stole a glance at Will, who was sitting a few inches from him.
Will was leaning back on his hands, looking up to the sky. His profile under the silvery moonlight looked almost ethereal.
Will took a deep breath and let out a long sigh. Nico quickly looked away.
“I think you already knew what this would be all about, I guess…” Will said, still looking up at the night sky.
Nico hummed.
He already had a guess. A good guess.
(Didn't mean that he would ever stop listening to whatever it was that Will needed to vent about)
(Didn't mean that he would ever stop telling Will that he should've just walked away and left that piece of shit that for some absurd reasons that Nico could never, ever fathom, had this blessing of being Will's boyfriend)
(Also, didn’t mean that Nico would ever tell Will one of the main reasons why it would be really delightful if Will just leave Octavian)
(Why would he ever tell Will that he loved Will, though? Why would he ever tell Will that he would do everything, anything to call Will as his?)
“But you know you can always talk with me about it, right?” Nico said, stealing another glance at Will before mirroring Will and stared at the night sky.
Will let out a chuckle. He took a deep breath and let it out.
“Well, guess what? I think this would be the last time you hear about it.”
Nico snapped his head to Will, eyebrows slightly furrowed. Will was already staring at him, a bitter smile on his lips.
“It’s over. Or should I say, it’s finally over,” Will said, answering the question that Nico didn’t have a chance to ask.
Nico blinked. His brain frantically trying to process what it meant. Should he feel relieved? Should he feel sorry for Will? Should he-
“Is it the part where I said ‘I’ve told you so?” Nico asked.
Will chuckled but said nothing to that. He looked up to the sky again.
“The stars are beautiful tonight,” he said, this time in a lighter tone. As if he didn’t just tell Nico that he just broke up with his boyfriend for two years.
“Do you know that we’re basically made from stars?” Will turned to look at Nico, sparkles in his eyes.
Nico raised his eyebrows. “Really?”
Will hummed as he nodded. “Yeah. So basically, Carl Sagan, a very cool dude, he said that all organic matters, and that definitely involves us since we’re all made of organic stuff comes from stars.” And Will started to ramble about how materials were formed in the sky and big bang theory and stuff like the nerd he was.
Nico loved it when Will was talking some nerdy shit like that. Or maybe he loved that nerdy shit because it was Will the one talking about it.
After a while, it was another silence. But this time, it was like a comfort blanket, embracing them in this sense of calmness under the stars.
“I can actually stare at the night sky forever,” Will said, and let out a long sigh. He took his ukulele, and started playing some tunes.
Nico raised an eyebrow as he recognized the tune.
“I know that song,” he said turning his head to look at Will. Will looked back at him. Under the moonlight, his smile was soft but his eyes twinkled.
“Sing, then.”
Nico snorted. But Will kept his eyes at his.
“Sing for me, please?”
(Sometimes Nico hated himself for not being able to refuse Will whenever he had that look in his eyes.)
Nico rolled his eyes, but Will’s smile got wider as he knew he got what he wanted without even arguing for it.
“Please?”
Nico huffed. “Oh well, only because you asked nicely,” he said, half-hoping that his fake annoyed tone was good enough.
Will smiled.
(Nico wondered whether Will has ever realized that there were stars trapped in his eyes, in his smile.)
Nico took a deep breath, and slowly let it out.
“I'm blind and afraid, the colors of this sound like a shape,” he started to sing. “The feast of words you never could say, and I'm torn apart.”
Nico kept on singing, next to Will who was playing the ukulele. Nico kept his eyes at the dark night, at the twinkling stars.
(Nico wondered whether Will ever realized that when he smiled, it’s like he had stars twinkling in his eyes)
“You got mirth, I got bravado...” Nico sang the last line of the song softly, almost whispering.
And then silence fell again, blanketed them with peace and quiet.
“It’s late,” Nico finally said after a while. He turned his head a little to glance at Will. The blond guy seemed to be deep in thought, staring at the horizon as he held his ukulele close to his chest.
“Will?”
“How have you been doing, Neeks?” Will asked, turning his head to Nico. But this time, his blue eyes had this intensity that almost made Nico forgot to breathe.
“Huh?”
“Tell me about your life. What have you been up to.”
Nico blinked, and then he shook his head a little, bemused.
Next to him, Will continued talking. “I feel like I’ve been such a bad friend for you. For the last couple of months, it’s always been about me and Octavian and how our relationship sucks. We never talked about you. You never told me anything about yourself.”
“Hey, we talk. About work. TVs. Movies. Leo being stupid. About Jason being madly in love with Piper. We talk, Will.”
Will snorted. “No. We talk about me. About other people. We never talk about you, Neeks.”
Nico rolled his eyes. “What’s there to talk about me?”
(Obviously not about he has been pining for Will for so long. Nope. They would not talk about that)
Will shrugged his shoulders. “Anything. Everything. Just tell me things about you.”
“Like what?”
“Like…are you seeing someone?”
“No.”
Once the word fell out from his lips, was exactly when Nico realized he answered it too quickly to make it sound casual. He cleared his throat.
“I mean, no?” Nico cringed when he realized that this time, he made it sound like a question.
“Why not?” Will asked, turning his head to look at Nico, curiosity in his eyes.
Nico stayed silent. Instead of staring back at Will, he fixed his eyes at his black combat boots.
“Have you ever been in love, though?”
Yes. No. Maybe. Nico didn’t know.
Nico lifted his head up as he inhaled deeply. He let it out in a long exhale.
“I don’t know,” he said. (The only thing that he knew was that every time he heard that stupid word he could only think of Will).
There was another silence for a moment, but somehow, somehow Nico could just feel there is this tension between them. Nico carefully angled his neck, stealing a glance at Will. There was this strange, intense expression on Will's face, like he was thinking so hard about something.
“Will?”
“You’re going to hate me for what I’m about to say,” Will said, suddenly turned his head to Nico. And even in the dark night, Nico could see the fiery intensity in those blue eyes.
It made him shiver.
Nico cleared his throat. He schooled his face into the most nonchalant expression that he could. He’s trained for this. Hiding his feeling was something that Nico did really, really well.
“If you’re setting me up with one of your friends again then yes, I would definitely hate you. I’ve had enough of Jason and Percy shoving some random guys to me.”
“No. That’s not it.”
Okay. This was serious. Will was supposed to laugh at the fact that the way Nico's cousins were way too invested in his love life.
Nico’s brows furrowed. “What is it, then?”
Will’s lips thinned into a thin line as he kept his eyes at Nico. That fire in his eyes burned even brighter.
It made Nico’s heart suddenly race and his brain freeze.
“Nico, let’s fall in love with each other.”
Nico’s heart stopped, and lurched into his stomach.
(It was ironically funny, how he had been dreaming about something like this, yet he could not believe it when it happened)
(Did it really happen?)
Nico blinked. Once. Twice.
He shook his head.
“No.”
“Why not?”
“You’re not serious Will.”
“I am. Serious. Really serious.”
Nico stared at Will. His brain froze.
Will bit his lower lip. He shifted a bit. Just a bit. Carefully, he moved his hand, reached out for Nico’s hand and covered it.
Nico wanted to hold his hand back. God, he really wanted to.
He didn’t hold Will’s hand back. He knew better than that. He knew better than giving in to the illusion of calling Will as his.
“I’m serious Nico. I mean it.”
“No, you don’t.”
“Can’t you fall in love with me?”
Nic wanted to laugh and scream and laugh because of how stupid, how absurd that question was.
Can’t you fall in love with me, Will asked, when Nico would do anything, anything for Will.
“Will… This wasn’t the right time-“
Will tightened his hand on Nico’s. “Why?”
Nico shook his head. "Will, you just broke up with your boyfriend. You're emotionally unstable right now. You probably think that you fall for me but then you'll wake up in the morning and regret everything-“
“The only thing that I regret is just that it took me so long to realize.”
That made Nico falls silent. He stared at Will, his heart went back into a crazy race in his chest.
Will squeezed his hand. “Okay, maybe it’s not the only thing that I regret. I regret that I was too stupid to realize that I should have broken up with Octavian a long time ago. I regret that we didn't meet sooner. I just…," Will paused and shook his head. "Oh God, I wish, how I wish that we had met sooner."
Nico’s brain still failed him. Which was stupid. So many things were running in his mind right now yet he couldn’t think of any words to say.
“Can I make you fall in love with me? Or at least, can you give me a chance to try my best to make you fall in love with me?”
Will shifted even closer to Nico now, their shoulders were brushing. He brought Nico’s hand that he’s been holding to his chest. Nico could feel Will’s heartbeat and it was just so surreal, like a fragile, vulnerable dream.
“Can you give us a chance to try? To see if we can fall in love with each other?”
Nico held his eyes at Will’s. At the blue eyes that he had been dreaming of for so many nights.
For over twenty years of his life, Nico had made so many dumb and foolish decisions. Was this going to be just another one of those?
Nico closed his eyes for a moment as he took a deep breath. He opened his eyes slowly. Will was still staring at him with stars trapped in his hopeful eyes.
“This is not going to be something that you will forget in the morning, right?”
Will’s smile was soft and tender as he shook his head.
“No. Mornings are just going to be a reminder of how I have promised that I will show you what I feel for you.”
Nico wanted to say something beautifully eloquent. Something that could make Will understand how much this meant to him. But he knew that words were beyond this.
“Okay,” Nico said. This time he let himself take a chance and held Will’s hand back. “Okay,” he repeated. “Let’s try it. Let’s try to fall in love with each other, from tonight…”
“And promise that we’ll never forget it in the morning light,” Will whispered. He brought Nico’s hand to his lips, and placed a soft, lingering kiss on his knuckles.
Will cupped Nico’s cheek with his other hand. Nico closed his eyes, and as he felt Will’s warm lips over his, he let himself fall into this thing called love.

first i just wanna talk about that first minhyuk verse, how he says ‘i like that’ and smirks yeah i fuck with that that was so hot 😩😩 not to mention how he straight up kills or at least knocks out some dude and drags his body into another room. the way he was buttoning up his shirt with that little smirk again? hot
hyungwon in general was just so beautiful in this mv??? like not even in just the mv also i’m the photoshoot?? he looked so pretty in version 2 of the album i was ready to get on one knee while imagining him on both of his 💔💔💔 i also love how jooheon had a literal hostage and minhyuk could have literally killed a man but hyungwon was just straight up drinking and vibing and i love that for him.
i also love how kihyun’s outfit shows off just like a little bit of his abdomen, not enough for it to be a whoreish as id like but it’s just enough to be perfectly kihyun and i wouldn’t want him to be uncomfortable in an outfit just so i could find it sexy. when kihyun does the move that goes along with when he says ‘bluffing’ i lose my shit idk why but i love it so much 😭

i tried to keep away from indulging my inner music nerd and doing a full song review of gambler’s musicality and meaning of it lyrically (go watch the mv again it has subtitles and holy shit i promise of any ounce of you is dominant you’ll adore it and even if you’re a complete baby bitch bottom (mean that with love <3) i promise you’ll still love them. it’s just them being like ‘i’m caught in your trap, i fall into your smile, i’m obsessed with your tricks, you stole my heart’ kinda vibes and my sadistic ass heart loves it) but if you want me to do that just let me know bc even thought it might take me a literal century to do it, i’m so down to talk about why this song is so musically perfect and dive deep into the lyrics

i guarantee you're not alone in that specific boat lmao, blotzer has... moments. looks. he has something okay, i don't know what, but sometimes when his hair is nice and he doesn't look too antagonistic... maybe i'd like bending him over. no particular reason.

like i've always enjoyed his style of aggressive drumming (and realizing that most of the drummers i like have similar style bc they're all john bonham fanboys but thats a different topic) and my fave ratt mv has always been "dance" and like, this bit specifically lives rent-free in my brain bc i am not immune to a stick spin or a cymbal grab:
and yes he's had some horrific fashion moments but like, it was the 80s. if i'm gonna let brad gillis get away with his sexy banana outfit, i can't be too harsh on anyone else. but these two are looks that i genuinely think are great and amazing!!!! the jacket specifically!!!! like i think it's the coolest fuckin thing in the whole world. it's all like duochrome shifting between brown and green and it's so cool and its like snakeskin texture and just UGH fantastic. and idk sometimes i like watching/listening to him talk? i'm such a slut for a voice and his voice isn't like, traditionally a Great Voice in the way a lot of voices are but there's something about it??? and his humor is a little awkward but, like, i really fucking relate to that?? (actually there's a lot about him that i relate to but i'm not going there rn.) but he also makes fun of himself and i enjoy that. here are some moments that i find enjoyable and/or attractive (clearly i enjoy laughter):

sooo i did (a little) redesign for killjoys or whatever. i don`t really know how to call it, i was just messing around with them and this happened. it actually was meant to be as a “fem-version” but now i`m not sure what i`m doing. so gonna call them “them” bc who cares
they don`t have one particular theme, it`s a mess but i love it for some reason
so let me tell a lil bit more about those designs!!!
fun ghoul: (i know they look kinda wrong and sad ok? ok)
- go with “trashy-all-layered” style bc i think it suits them (it also remindes me of hippy style that`s...interesting)
- have a braid in the front that longer than other hair.
- yellow sweater has a sewed part on the bottom from regular shirt bc it`s fun and they have a tail now. cool :)
- have a bandana tucked in jeans
- jeans are super wide on the bottom (kinda fucked up with this part, ha) and really frayed. also draw on them and lets all their friends draw on them too.
- different socks!!
- don`t wear actual laces, but wear those child clipsy things of different colors. swear that they can tie laces, but noone actually saw them doing this
- the also had to have colorful bandages??? but i kinda forgot and theres no place for it now. also all the nails had to have all the colors of different members but again i forgot
kobra kid!!:
- have this kinda sporty style bc why not ^)
- longer hair!! fluffy hair!!!!!!!!
- have this strange one-hand jackets that i once saw on the internet and thought it was cool. probably have their kobra-logo or whatever on the back
- have different gloves since one of them has a protection/comfort purpose to wear this electro-deadly-glove (how do you call it??) that flashed in the mv for like 0,2 seconds. red lines on the palm actually glow
- belt has “KOBRAKOBRAKOBRA” written on it
- painted sole red themselves

- I DON`T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THERE I JUST THOUGHT IT LOOKS COOL
- have a little tail on the back of the head
- it`s not a one-piece costume it`s like an onion: has layers. so it`s a hell to put this on

- i had to redesign them 3 times since it looked like an e-girl first, then they gave off strong revenge vibes and this is not i`m going for. so i added a lot more orange and yellow to make it more dd style. i had to.
- have one dyed strand
- cape is actually just a piece of fabric with a clip. looks like a bat wing. nice :)
- use rope as a belt
- slightly different socks
- have a metal piece on the boots. painted stripes themselves + drew a yellow ”solar eclipse”
so yeah that`s all. i hope posting it here will give a motivation to draw more using those designs? we`ll see how it goes anyway thats all

MN: In contrast, to the question, “What do you find is cool about NCT 127?”, you responded,“An identity that is all our own”. In a nutshell, what is this?
J: I believe it is our neo-esque aspect.
MN: So, the “neo” from Neo Culture Technology (=NCT). With the meaning of “new” there, you even use “NEO CITY” in your tour titles, so we can see how important the term is all-around for NCT 127.
J: Exactly. We believe that ‘identity’ is something more that just the team’s identity. It’s more about the members that make up the team, the song, each and every performance. Since our debut, we have strongly felt that those aspects and what is yet to come are what “neo” means for NCT 127.
MN: Wonderful. So, it’s not so much that the team is made up of a group of people, but rather that the team is made up of the individuality that each person brings to the table. As part of NCT 127, to the question, “How has being a part of a group and its activities had an impact on you?”, you responded,“Through many experiences, it has helped me to grow”.
J: There is something I feel strongly about when performing. That is, ultimately, that I really do love to sing and dance. I come to this realization each and every time I’m on stage. It is something that I have felt since our first tour and it makes me want to grow even more.
MN: So, would you say that every time you go on stage, you realize that you love to sing and dance, and the more experience you gain, the more motivated you are to grow?
J: Exactly. First of all, in terms of skills with music, I think I’ve grown as I’ve gradually gained more experience while recording. I feel like I’m progressing as I listen to our recordings and improving on what I lack as I go through the process of recording over and over again. The same can be said for dance. I practice every single day, and I think I’m making progress by doing so. And personally, or should I say, on the people-to-people side, I feel like I have been able to grow because I’m part of the NCT 127 team. When working, we live with each other 24-7, even when we’re not on stage, and so I feel like I have learned a lot about accepting someone as they are and understanding them for who they are.
MN: Since NCT 127 is a multinational group, it feels like there is a rich environment for accepting people with different customs and cultures.
J: Yes, it is. I really do think I’ve also grown in terms of accepting others.
MN: To the question, “Please tell us what you think is great about the group”, you responded,“We advance together towards our goals, rejoice together when we are happy, and grieve together when we are sad“. We can tell you are building a relationship based on trust.
J: For me, NCT 127 is also with whom I’m spending my youth with.
MN: It sounds like they are more than co-workers to you. Without a doubt, the readers are certainly becoming more and more interested in the group called NCT 127. Now, we’d like to ask you to introduce some pieces of work you highly recommend.
J: Yes. I would love to.

J: Ohhhh, I bet. I was thinking about that one as well (LOL).
MN: Sorry (LOL). From this series of articles, we can clearly tell how confident you are that it is one of your best works. Since we are at it, it would be amazing if you could list up a different song.
J: Sure. Since it has come up so many times, I would be glad to introduce a different one~!

J: (In Japanese) “Yes, thank you so much (LOL).
What do you mean by challenging spirit backed by passion?
MN: Next, we’d like to dig deeper into your “passion”. We can already tell from what you said earlier that you’re quite passionate about the way you engage yourself in your performances. For the question, “How do you want to spend your 20s?”, you wrote,“Full on and with passion”.
J: That’s right. The first thing I’m most passionate about right now is singing. I have a lot of passion for singing, truly so much. And the other thing is that I do not want to have any regrets about challenging myself to do something new. I always feel that there should never be any regrets and so that’s why I also have passion towards ‘challenging new things’.
MN: Regarding that, even with the questions on fashion, we could really tell that you are someone who loves to challenge yourself in terms of fashion as well. For the question, “What type of fashion would you like to try out?”, you wrote,“high fashion photogravure. I enjoy the challenge itself”. Additionally, for the question, “Fashion is indispensable when it comes to transmitting performances and artwork, but what’s your take on it?” , you responded, “When it comes to outfits for the stage and for photo shoots, even if they may require some bold courage, I try my best to assimilate”. Your challenging spirit on what you wear also comes through.
J: You mentioned that I am a person who loves to challenge myself. I totally agree! When on a shoot for a magazine or CD jacket, I often wear clothes that require a sense of challenge, and I love to imagine the different ways I could wear those outfits while the photos are being taken. By daring to challenge myself, I am able to find what suits me, what I like, and what don’t like, and that’s what makes the challenge so much fun.
MN: ”Fun”… nice. You really do enjoy fashion.
J: Exactly~! (In Japanese) Fashion is one way to express myself,
MN: To the question, “When thinking about what to wear, what is the most important thing, your policy?”, you responded,“It has to look good on me”. While many of the members preferred a more carefree taste in the interviews up to now, your answer that it has to look good on you shows your stoic mindset, which is different in personality from the others and also shows your challenging nature.
J: Ohhh, right~. As for the reason why I responded, “it has to look good on me”, I think it’s super cool when you can wear something eccentric and it still looks good on you. In contrary, even if the item isn’t particularly unique, if it suits the person, then it too will look cool. So, in the end, I think it is important to know what suits you and wear it with style. It’s not so much that I’ve decided on a particular fashion style. It’s more about how I can enjoy different styles in that way”
What is it to have sincerity?
MN: We fully understand that both “classic” and “passion” make up who you are, JAEHYUN-san. Now we would like to ask about the third element of “sincerity”.
J: I wrote sincerity because, well… it’s a little embarrassing, but if you talk about your true feelings with sincerity and without embellishment, I think the other person will understand how you feel, and that kind of thing is important to me.
MN: That is really lovely. There are many types of sincerity, but for you in particular, JAEHYUN-san, from the questionnaire, we can tell that you have a strong desire to care for the people around you. To the question, “What dream would you like to achieve in your life other than music?”, you wrote,“The health and happiness of my loved ones”, which was quite impressive.
J: You see… when you try to do something on your own, I feel there is a limit to what you can do. That’s where the people that are willing to be around you become important. That is the thought behind my response.
MN: Since when have you thought that way?
J: Let me see… probably since our debut. When you do your best and work hard at it, you can inspire others. And under those conditions, you can also be inspired by others around you. Working in a positive manner like that is very important even for the work itself, and since our debut, I have felt that it is all about the people around you.
MN: For this series, we have added the question, “Have you already found the real you?” You responded,“I have, but I’m still searching for more”. Including your devotion on growth and your policy of taking good care of the people around you for that purpose, would you say that what you have told us thus far constitutes who you are at this point in time?
J: Well… I mean, I am totally serious about what I talk about regarding what kind of tastes I have, what kind of things I like, what kind of person I am, but I think I’m still in the process of getting to know myself. That’s how I feel and that’s where, “I have, but I’m still searching for more” comes from.
MN: I know it’s really a difficult question to answer. Thank you for sharing something invaluable about your thoughts right now.
What do you need to create a world of comfort?
MN: You wrote about other things that you also like. To “what has had an impact on you?”, you wrote,“R&B, JAZZ”. To the questions, “What kind of place or atmosphere do you like?” “What landscape symbolizes who you are?”, your response was,“nightscape”.
J: I love to watch the nightscape. It’s healing, calming and eases my mind, and it makes it possible for me to think about a lot of things. Although I’m not able to see it that often, I try to make it a point to watch the nightscape whenever I can.
MN: As we ask you about the things you like, JAEHYUN-san, such as classical atmosphere and music, as well as the nightscape, what comes to mind is the visuals of the cover you did of Lauv’s “I Like Me Better”. It feels like it is packed with all the things you like. We hear it’s getting a lot of views on YouTube, too… (as of Nov. 2020: Approximately 40 million views).
J: (In Japanese) Ohhhh, why thank you! The reason why I decided to make it in the first place was because I was in Europe for a performance and the landscape was so lovely. It all begin while I was thinking about wanting to put myself in a landscape like that and take a photo. I then thought that the mood of Lauv’s “I Like Me Better” would fit really well; and since I love the songs in Lauv’s album to being with, I decided on that song. At first, I never even thought people would like this video as much as they have, but I’m very grateful to everyone who has watched it. At the time I shot this, I was simply trying to capture my trip as natural as possible and preserve it. I just want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone for the response and for liking it so much.
MN: We will make sure to pass on this message to everyone as well.

LOVEHOLIC and JAEHYUN
MN: Please tell us your enthusiasm towards your new Japanese album “LOVEHOLIC”. The release date is now set for February 17th, which is near your birthday, JAEHYUN-san.
J: Exactly.We’re actually in preparation as we speak [editorial staff note: at the time of the interview], but it’s been a long time since we’ve prepared and released a Japanese album like this, so I’m really excited about it. Whenever we release a new album, I have a strong desire to show a new side of myself, and you can expect the same this time as well”
MN: In light of the album title, what does “LOVEHOLIC” mean to you, JAEHYUN-san?
J: It means to really be into something. I’m really into Netflix as of late! (LOL)
MN: Hahaha! That’s really not romantic at all.
J: (Chuckle) I guess I’m into Netflix love.
MN: We are told that the lead track is a love song. There are many types of love songs, but what kind of love song do you like to sing, JAEHYUN-san?
J: When I’m listening to a love song, I like super sad love songs or love songs about a broken heart, but I prefer love songs with a happy ending. So, if I’m going to sing a love song, I prefer a happy love song. However, since “LOVEHOLIC” expresses various kinds of love, I would like to convey a bigger and stronger love than just a love song. I hope to be able to tour in Japan and to show it on stage. I really can’t wait to see all of you.
MN: Is there anything in particular that you would like us to focus on with regard to the album?
J: The growth in my vocals!
MN: We’re really looking forward to the release. Thank you for everything you have shared with us today. On a final note, could you share with us what you feel is “my own style” right now, JAEHYUN-san?
J: You mean in a word, right? “To be continued”… Mmmm… no… let me think about it again… Let’s go with, “As everyone sees me.
MN: My own style is “As everyone sees me”. You’re the first person to give a response that basically leaves your style to the other person’s perception, JAEHYUN-san. “To be continued” is intriguing as well. With what you shared today, they both make sense… In the end, you’ve given us a comment that will linger on in our minds.

My Top 3 BTS Outfits in Each Era (Up to Permission to Dance)
Disclaimer: These pictures are hella grainy because I used the wrong edit and only realized after I’d done like 10 eras. Plus it’s hella hard to catch a shot of the boys during the MV when they’re not moving.
Okay, so I don’t know why I wanted to do this. That’s a lie; there’s a very specific outfit that made me want to do this, so look out for that one if you want to know why I’ve decided to dedicate myself to this terribly long and arduous post.
This post is what it sounds like. One thing I’m gonna say before we get going is that I skipped the Make It Right era because the boys didn’t actually film anything for it (it was just a stage mix); ergo, I’d be ranking the outfits they had for the Love Yourself Tour, not the outfits that were selected for them for that particular song. So, I figured it’d be pointless to be like, “Oh, you see this outfit that Jimin wears for these four songs on tour that he happens to wear in the Make It Right stage mix? I like it.”
Also:
This isn’t based on my bias or the members themselves at all; it’s literally which outfits I liked the best.
That means that there are eras where there’s two of one member plus one other member in my top three since the boys usually have at least two outfits. Actually, there’s one era that only has three outfits from one member in it because that member was styled really well for that era.
I will be, like, talking about the outfits through the members’ names, though, because... how else am I supposed to do it? “Yes, so IDOL outfit #9 was really cool”? Not gonna work.
Some of the representations of the members’ outfits aren’t actually that good because I literally could not take a full-body screenshot of them since they were always moving.
As such, I’d advise you to actually go to the MV for outfits you wanted to see in full.
I didn’t use any promotional shots, behind the scenes MV shootings, or outfits from secondary versions of the MVs (with one exception I’ll talk about later)--such as the Manifesto Film for ON or the Japanese version MVs--because I wanted to pull them all from the main MVs. Plus, there was always the chance that the outfit I liked wasn’t shown in the behind the scenes shooting or didn’t have a promotional shot taken of it, and I wanted all the pictures to be taken from the same place.
So, you should prepare for some funny faces from the boys because some of these screenshots are questionable for the sake of capturing the outfit.
I’ll probably talk about their hair if I feel like I need to because it’s so good that’s it’s almost like a part of the outfit; that’s gonna be rare, though.
Disclaimer #2: I do not have any real knowledge about fashion, so I’m just here to say, “Wow. Don’t they look so good?”

No More Dream
Boy oh boy, was this era hard to decide on. BTS’s early MVs had a certain mood to them, you know? And that meant there outfits weren’t always amazing. However, I did my best to understand the concept of putting the boys in over-the-top outfits to sell the genre of music and image brand they were going for; that being said, I did end up picking the most basic outfits from the No More Dream era.
Taehyung: I mean, it’s a basic outfit, you know? I’m a sucker for all-black outfits--though the all-black wardrobe in the No More Dream MV was not exactly my flavor of fashion--and Taehyung in a leather jacket is always gonna be awesome.
Jin: Jin’s arms said wassup, you know? That’s not really why I picked this outfit for my top three, though; it was mostly because I liked the shirt they put Jin in, and the accent with the bandana on his pants was nice.
Jungkook: So, the print on Jungkook’s pants was used for all members in one way or another--like, for instance, Taehyung had a T-shirt with it--but I like the print being on the pants Jungkook has on. Also, the style of his pants is a style I love; I have no idea what style they’re in, but the loose fabric at the top is nice. Also, his high-tops (or boots?) are a nice contrast to the rest of black in his outfit.
We Are Bulletproof Pt.2
Talk about another era of questionable fashion. It’s not really the style of clothes they were wearing or which pieces they’re wearing because I know BigHit did the best it could with the money it had at the time; I mostly don’t like the early eras’ stylings because there was a lot going on. Like, you got the leggings under the shorts, knee socks, shirts tied around waists, etc. They’re doing the most, and I don’t really vibe with it. Not that layering is bad because BTS has outfits that are layered later, obviously, and some of those are really nice. I think it’s just awkward to look at when it’s a bunch of sportswear. Anyway, that’s not what this is about.
Jimin: I know Jimin’s got eels or fish on his shorts. I didn’t realize until I look at Taehyung’s T-shirt and realized that he was also wearing the same print. However, Jimin’s shorts being gold looks nice between his black socks and shirt. I can’t explain why. Because pants are usually the darker color in outfits, so the fact that it’s inverted is interesting? Maybe I like the eels after all? Who can say?
Jungkook #2: I’ve no idea what’s going on with Jungkook’s outfit in the middle photo, but the print on his shorts in nice. I mean, I like that he’s got red accents throughout the entire outfit because it’s less gaudy than the gold accents on the boys’ other set of outfits for this MV. Other than that, I just like it better than the rest of the outfits (besides my number one, obviously).
Jungkook #1: No, there is not a full-body shot of this outfit in the MV, and yes, I’m still listing it as my number one. Is this partially because I didn’t like any of the other outfits? Maybe. But, I also really like the print on Jungkook’s--what I’m going to tentatively call--shoulder-pad-jacket. Like, the sports uniforms were a little dumb, but I like that Jungkook’s was a bit more fancy, if you will, than just a jersey. Even if I can only see the top half of it.
N.O
Now we’re getting into some fashion, kids. I mean, the N.O concepts weren’t the best, but it’s better than fish-shorts, you know? Throughout doing this project, I realized that the boys have done the all-white thing a few times--like in Black Swan, Boy With Luv, and Film out, to name a few--and I really like it. Just like in N.O, it’s always a really nice contrast with, either the music, or the members’ images or both. The white clothes make everything seem softer, but then you put a song like N.O on top of it or an image like attractiveness-can-kill Kim Taehyung, and it offsets everything in a really interesting way.
Taehyung: I mean, honestly, I didn’t know what outfit to put in this spot, but I like Taehyung’s shirt, so here we are. The texture on it is nice, actually, because the boys were mostly wearing stuff on top of plain white hoodies or shirts, so Taehyung having a shirt with a bit of visual to it was good.
Jungkook: I don’t know; I like casual clothes, okay? It’s a baggie hoodie, sweatpants, and some chains, but I like the look a lot. Don’t @ me--not that this is a controversial opinion. Maybe I’m influenced by the choreography or something, but I liked this particular Jungkook outfit in N.O.
Yoongi: Can I say Yoongi looks a bit like a ‘90s rapper or is that inaccurate? Yoongi’s got the curly, red hair with a bandana in it, y’all. That shit’s wild. And he’s got a fluffy, white vest. Legit, his outfit says, “I’m cute,” but his expression and rap verse say, “Sit the fuck down,” you know what I mean? That’s the type of shit I’m here for.
Boy In Luv
This era was difficult to decide on, as you can imagine, because they were all in school uniforms with very tiny differences in between them. I think, because of that, this era was a little bit about how each member looked in their outfit for the MV because I didn’t have much to go on.
Jimin: You can’t see it in the picture I was able to get, but he’s got little metal pieces on the collar of his shirt, which is also a black collar, and both of those little details are cool. That’s literally it all I have to say.
J-Hope: Hobi was in all-black, y’all, so I wanted to include him. Would you like to know why his picture is so terrible? There were zero full-body shots of him during his rap verse. Why? So difficult it was to get a shot of Hobi looking fine as hell in this uniform.
Namjoon: I think one other member had a plaid shirt under their button down--Jin, I think--but the pattern of Namjoon’s plaid shirt was the one I liked the best. It’s a really nice pop to the black-and-white the other guys had.
Just one day
This MV was so difficult to find good shots for, let me tell you. Take a shot every time I say that from now on if you want to, you know, poison yourself. Anyway, the outfits for this era were pretty simple. The boys also had school uniform-esque outfits, but they were all the same, so I didn’t include them. At least, they were close enough to the same that I didn’t like any of them individually.
Jimin: When I tell you Jimin only has close-up shots in this MV--I digress. You can’t really tell with the picture I was able to get, but the patches on his pants looked really cool, to me. He also had a long, baggy shirt on on top of the tight pants, so the entire outfit ended up looking really nice.
Jungkook: I don’t really know how to explain this one. I just like the look of it. Jungkook looks like a ballet dancer, you know? I like the asymmetrical sections of his shirt, I like the leather pants, I like the neckline; it’s a good outfit, simple though it is.
Yoongi: This is a boyfriend look if I’ve ever seen one. I’m also a sucker for denim jackets, so that’s part of the reason I liked this outfit on Yoongi. Also, the layering of the jacket, hoodie, and shirt is a combo that can rarely ever go wrong. This is another neutral-toned MV in terms of the outfits, so I like the bit of blue from Yoongi’s jacket, as well.
Danger
This is the first BTS era in which everyone’s outfits killed, and I had a difficult time picking out which ones I liked the best. These outfits definitely fit the Dark & Wild concept well, and I think each member was styled amazingly for this MV.
Taehyung: There is a strong part of me that loves Taehyung in this ballcap. I also love the leather accents on his blazer and the fact that he’s got a white shirt on for that bit of contrast. I don’t know; the entire visual for Taehyung in this outfit was working.
Jimin: Isn’t Jimin’s shirt so cool? It’s, like, kind of a stiff material, so when he dances, it looks really cool. Plus, the button down and chain he has underneath it are such cool little accents. It almost looks like he’s wearing a turtleneck from a distance because the button down is buttoned all the way up, and I like that vibe.
Jungkook: I don’t know how to explain the emotional attachment I have to Jungkook’s outfit in the Danger MV. The plaid shirt around his waist, the denim jacket, the dark and ripped jeans; I mean, please. This is an iconic MV look, and you can quote me on that. Legit, this would be in the catalog of “Jungkook’s most iconic looks,” for me.
War of Hormone
Can I talk about how cool the concept was for the War of Hormone era? Like, the punk look was such a good choice. It made them look like British teenagers from the 80s, but I’m not mad at that. Also, the mussed hair? What a look these guys had during this era. I don’t think there’s a whole lot of BTS eras that kind of come with their own predetermined fashion themes like War of Hormone came with the punk one. You got Dynamite with the 70s theme and Dope with the costumes theme, but that’s kind of it. The rest of the time, the boys kind of just match while the outfits compliment the song, rather than the outfits embodying the song. So, War of Hormone is a special era because of that.
Jungkook: These stripped sweaters and skinny scarves were such a fad for me when I was in elementary school, but somehow Jungkook makes it seem actually cool. Plus, he’s got all those holes in his sweater that make it look all grungy, and it’s so fun that that’s how they decided to add a focal piece to his outfit.
Taehyung: I wasn’t initially thinking Taehyung would be on this list since the other members have louder outfits than just a leather jacket, but Taehyung’s outfit is so cool. It’s got the print on the back of the jacket plus the buttons on the front that really sell the punk vibe, but he’s also got pinstriped pants, y’all. What a combo.
Namjoon: I don’t like to say “daddy,” but this outfit on Namjoon is, you know? I mean, it’s just a really nice suit in the first place. You got your little pocket square, really nice lines, gorgeous pinstripes; plus, Namjoon’s got that white shirt under it instead of a button down. It all works really nicely, and the overall outfit stuck out to me right away when I was looking at this MV.
I Need U
It was so difficult trying to grab the outfits for I Need U and RUN because they’re basically short films, which meant there was no choreo I could pause during to get a full body shot or cuts of the boys singing their solos. However, I managed to grab these three, so let’s get it.
Yoongi: It’s simple, I know, but I like simple sometimes. I think it’s mostly the jeans that made me choose this Yoongi outfit in I Need U because the shirt was plain white, and the jeans being ripped an rolled was just enough diversity to make me love the outfit. Plus, Yoongi’s shirt is tucked in, so it’s a nice vibe.
Taehyung #2: The outfit in the middle photo is kind of a weird outfit, to me. I think it’s because the jack and the pants are the same material, but in any case, I like it a lot because it looks strange but simple at the same time. The outfits in I Need U were a little geeky, if I can say that, which is totally fine, but I just ended up liking Taehyung’s the best because of the fit of the outfit and the material.
Taehyung #1: It’s that jacket-hoodie-shirt combo again. It’s also all black; it’s also got a leather jacket. It’s the stuff I love, and it’s all on Taehyung, who I love. I mean, there’s also the factor of him wearing the hood up to mimic the dark tone of the MV and song, so all of that contributed to me liking this outfit a lot.
For You
I didn’t expect to like the outfits in the For You MV all that much since it’s a bit of a basic song, but I thought a lot of the pieces were really beautiful. Jungkook had a nice outfit during the choreo, Jin had a nice outfit for the scene when he was washing cars; I mean, all the members had several really nice looks for this MV.
Namjoon: I was trying to decide between this and Jin’s denim jacket outfit, but I really like the dark wash on Namjoon’s jacket and jeans. Also, the jeans being rolled to expose the boots is something I also really liked. This is an aside, but doesn’t Namjoon fucking wear this shit? He looks hella good.
Yoongi: I really like the stark white of Yoongi’s jacket and pants against the black of his shirt. Plus, the shirt has a really gorgeous pattern on it, which is a big reason why I ended up choosing this outfit for my top three.
Taehyung: That jacket is so pretty, isn’t it? It’s not just the floral pattern of it, but the stripes underneath the floral pattern are so lovely against the white in the rest of Taehyung’s outfit. It makes Taehyung look older, too, which has nothing to do with the outfit, but I figured I’d mention it.
Dope
Does anyone know why the concept for this MV was basically Halloween costumes? Was it because the song is about dudes who work hard for their dreams and they wanted the boys to be dressed like various kinds of employees? Anyway, it was a fun MV to look at.
J-Hope: I thought Hobi’s outfit was fitted very well, so I ended up choosing it mostly because of the cut and shape it had. However, the actual leather itself looked really cool, too, with the white and red accents.
Jimin: Like, all the boys wore the white-shirt-black-tie ensemble, but it was Jimin’s only look for the MV, and he wore it the best, so I had to put it down. This one is another case of it being kind of about the member, but sue me, okay? I stan this Jimin.
Jungkook: We all knew, didn’t we? I mean, the police officer’s uniform is iconic. The pants being tucked into the boots gives Jungkook such a nice silhouette, and the fit of the uniform did the same thing. Jungkook looked incredible in this era.
RUN
This era gave me so many issues; you don’t understand. You see how shitty these pictures are, right? None of the members were still during this entire MV except for that one shot of Jungkook sitting on the floor; I mean, I guess that’s indicative of the song being called “RUN,” but ya know. Honestly, I really liked a lot of the outfits during the RUN era because all of them had so much character. It was really difficult to choose only three, so let me know in the replies which outfits you liked from this era.
Jin: A lot of my decisions are based on jackets, but you’re gonna have to bear with me on that one because it’s gonna continue. The picture sucks, but go to the MV and look at Jin’s jacket because it’s got such a nice pattern. It stood out a lot to me because it was different from the other members, and Jin doesn’t usually wear jackets like this.
Taehyung: You’re also gonna have to go check this one out for yourself, but I though the brown jacket and red flannel together looked really nice, especially on top of the dark jeans Taehyung was wearing. I mean, the sunglasses are a vibe, too, but that wasn’t really on my mind when making this decision.
Yoongi: I love this Yoongi outfit in the RUN MV. It had just enough going on to make it look interesting but not busy. The red-and-black striped shirt under the ripped, acid wash jacket provides such a nice contrast. Plus, Yoongi’s got moe sleeves here, which is adorable.
EPILOGUE: Young Forever
This was sort of an awkward MV to do because it’s such a short song, but I got there in the end. The outfits weren’t terribly complex, so we won’t be here all that long, especially since all the members were wearing just about the same types of outfits in terms of color profile.
Yoongi: I like the pattern on Yoongi’s shirt a lot, and I like the little ribbons or whatever they are hanging from his sleeves. This isn’t a style I see on Yoongi that often, but regardless of who was wearing it, the outfit did it’s job because it looks awesome.
Taehyung: I really like the cut of Taehyung’s shirt. Like, the way it buttons looks really interesting, the lack of a collar looks cool, and he’s got a little ascot/scarf thing that has a nice pattern on it. Plus, the scarf was sitting underneath the neckline of the shirt, which was a cool detail.
Jungkook: So, Jungkook was the only member with color in his outfit? I know he’s the center of BTS, but it’s a bit weird? I’m not complaining, though, because the color of his shirt is gorgeous. The rosy-brown was such a nice pop of contrast against the grey background of the MV. It also tied in nicely with the warm tones at the end as the sun is setting.
FIRE
This was an era for outfits, y’all. They kind of a SoCal vibe going on in this MV, and all the members looked super cool. It was interesting to see their outfits shifting as the scenes changed, too. Like, when they were outside, they had outfits with more pops of interests, but when they were inside or when it was dark, they had slightly grungier outfits with more subdued patterns. Or, when they were just messing around and singing or shooting skits, they had goofier outfits on. Anyway, this MV is rad, and so are the outfits.
Taehyung #2: I just really love Taehyung’s jacket that he has on for the majority of this MV. On top of the black shirt and jeans, it became a nice focal piece. Taehyung’s jeans are ripped, too, and it provides some shape to Taehyung’s legs that’s super nice. I mean, all the members have knee rips, but in an all-black outfit, it looked awesome. Also, though you can’t see it in the picture, he has brown boots on, and it’s such a weird addition to a black-and-denim outfit, but somehow, it works really well.
Jungkook: It’s the cardigan for me, fam. It’s such a pretty piece; actually, that’s not all I love about Jungkook’s outfit in the middle picture because he has this band around his leg that stands out so much for some reason. I don’t even know what the band is or if it’s a part of the jeans or what, but it actually really does elevate the look.
Taehyung #1: This fit is it, y’all. First of all, the jacket is bomb; the color is stunning, and the fringe is so fun. The belt Taehyung’s wearing pops--at least to me--and the black jeans work really well with the jacket. And Taehyung’s boots plus the jeans? Please.
Save ME
This was the most difficult MV to get screenshots for by far. This, War of Hormone, and Film out are the only MVs where the boys only have one outfit, right? Boy In Luv might, as well; I can’t remember. There’s probably more, but anyway. I’ll keep it a buck: I’m not gonna have a lot to say about Yoongi and Namjoon, but we’re gonna try our best.
Yoongi: The ripped jeans are nice, as always, and I love Yoongi’s boots, but other than that, this is just about me liking the type of outfit this is. I mean, having a long-sleeve tee under a T-shirt can be kind of lame, but when it’s a nearly all-black outfit with pops of light coming from the undershirt, it can look good.
Namjoon: I picked Namjoon’s outfit because the jacket he was wearing was fitting pretty tightly, and I thought it made his silhouette look really sharp. The ballcap did the same thing since Namjoon’s hair wasn’t out in the wind. Also, he’s got converse high-tops on--I think--and that’s always a vibe.
Taehyung: Taehyung’s outfit is the only outfit I freakin’ love from Save ME. He’s got the moe sleeves, guys, and it makes Taehyung look so soft. Plus, the sweater that’s on top of his long-sleeve tee is cut really nicely so the sleeves are really big and make Taehyung’s silhouette look really cool when he’s dancing. Also, red-haired Taehyung is an icon.
Blood Sweat & Tears
So, I kind of both loved every single outfit in this MV and didn’t find any of them particularly stand out-ish. That’s probably because they were all awesome so none of them could be more awesome than another. Still, I came up with a list. Let me tell you, I was so mad that the suits the boys were wearing in the beginning were not shown that much in the MV because they were all gorgeous.
Jungkook #2: Which is why Jungkook’s face is covered because I could only get this shot of his suit since it’s basically invisible the rest of the time. How pretty is the print on it, though? The flowers are gorgeous on top of the black.
Yoongi: I really like light nude-colored fabric because anything you put on top of it looks a little bit lacy, and that’s what Yoongi’s blazer looked like in this MV. Plus, he’s got a choker, which looks really interesting since he’s wearing a suit.
Jungkook #1: It’s basically just the shirt that I really loved, but it’s got such a beautiful print on it, and it’s pale nude, and he has--I think--a velvet choker on. Plus, his shirt’s all flowy and nice. It doesn’t get better than this, kids.
Spring Day
Is it just me, or were their outfits a little bit strange in Spring Day? Not a whole lot, but the winterwear they had on was really unique. Especially the heavily patterned sweaters a few of the members were wearing. Quirky is the word I want to use, but it’s not really quirky as much as it’s just a bit off center.
Yoongi: I honestly didn’t know what the third outfit should be, so Yoongi is kind of here because I liked the simplicity, and the pink of his sweater is a good pink and not that gross hot pink that never looks good. He’s also got rips in his jeans in a really weird spot, which is probably not that good for the winter, but it looks nice.
Namjoon: I can’t tell if Namjoon is wearing a white hoodie with an orange hood or if he’s wearing a long-sleeve sweater on top of an orange hoodie, but either way, he looks great. Also, the blazer on top is, like, kind of weird but also a vibe. It’s an outfit that doesn’t really match, but it doesn’t clash, so I guess you’d call that complimentary?
Jungkook: It’s a simple black-and-white outfit, but the specific pieces Jungkook was wearing were all really pretty. The stripes being concentrated in the middle of the sweater and the jacket having flecks of white that look like paint go together so well.
Not Today
Everybody was poppin’ in this era, outfits and otherwise. I really like the red theme that colored everybody’s concepts, and it kind of makes me think of Not Today as a red song. Is that weird? Who knows? Anyway, this era was hard to choose from.
Namjoon: Namjoon looked like a king in this MV. He’s got purple hair that actually really pops against the rest of his outfit, and his pants being red is so fun. Also, the bleached out area of his button down shirt looks really awesome. Jungkook has a shirt like that in this MV, as well, but the stripes on Namjoon’s make the bleached spot stand out more.
Yoongi: The leather pants were a good choice because Yoongi looks awesome in them. The red detailing on them is also awesome, but the money piece is his jacket. What a nice color that jacket is, I tell you what. It stands out so much because of how vibrant it is, especially against Yoongi’s pitch-black hair.
Taehyung: This is one of those outfits that I’ve always loved, and now I get to talk about it. I cannot tell what is hanging from his hips, but the tie-dye look of it is fun; the shirt Taehyung is wearing is super weird, but I love it a lot. Also, Taehyung in a bandana always slaps. The jacket, though, is so cool. The pure white of it is already eye-catching, but the actual fit and shape of it is really unique, too.
DNA
This era doesn’t have the outfit that made me want to make this post, but it did have the MV that made me want to make this post. I mean, we all know the DNA MV is vibey as hell, and the bright and bold colors and patterns in everybody’s outfits sold that theme really easily. This was another era that was difficult to choose from because I liked a lot of the individual pieces the members were wearing, but I didn’t like many outfits as whole packages.
Taehyung #2: Taehyung looks so elegant in this outfit, and I know it’s also because of his hair, but damn. I wanna say it makes him look rich, but that’d be stupid since, you know, he is rich. Again, it’s simple, but the silk, red shirt Taehyung’s wearing is stunning.
Yoongi: I don’t really know why I chose this outfit, but I still love it. Like, it’s just a jersey and a blue jacket, but the colors are coordinated really nicely, and the blue is a pretty blue. I don’t know; I just thought it was well put together.
Taehyung #1: I did not think Taehyung in sweats and a dress shirt was gonna end up being my favorite outfit in DNA, but here we are. The red-white-and-blue theme is all over the place in the DNA MV, but it doesn’t look too gaudy of a color combo in Taehyung’s outfit in the leftmost picture. He looks comfy and cute, and I like it a lot.
MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)
Is it okay to say that this MV has some of the best stylings for the boys in any MV? I mean, they all looked dope, no? It was so hard to get these screenshots, and I couldn’t even get the best ones in the world, but I really liked everyone’s outfits in this era since it was like sportswear but more swaggy.
Yoongi #2: This is a shitty screencap, but I couldn’t get a better one without Yoongi being three pixels. Anyway, the all white tracksuit is a vibe and half. Yoongi looks so damn cool. You can’t see it in the picture, but his sweatpants have black stripes on them that look awesome, and he’s got red shoes. Epic.
Yoongi #1: I hate camo, but this look is it, fam. The top half with the hoodie and the bandanas is enough, but I think Yoongi was also wearing a really long, black shirt underneath that hung the middle of his thighs, and it’s awesome against the black pants.
Taehyung: Taegi really was blessing us with the headbands in this era. This look is badass, periodt. The loose pants, the combat boots, the leather jacket with the orange lining, the Mastermind World hoodie--I mean, it’s a legendary look for Taehyung, no doubt.
FAKE LOVE
This era was a good era. Jimin’s hair looked like a tiger, Taehyung had a mullet, Jungkook had a jacket that made him look like a ruby; I mean, everyone looked amazing in the Fake LOVE era. I don’t have it in my list, but I do wanna talk about the ruby jacket Jungkook was wearing because, wow, was it pretty. That is all.
Taehyung #2: I don’t know why I like this outfit so much, but I think it’s because it’s weird? Like, it’s all neutral colors, which is why it’s not too much, but the leather straps are so strange. I love it, though, because it’s like Taehyung’s in a straitjacket, which was the point, I guess. Also, his shirt is a bit asymmetrical, so that’s fun.
Jungkook: I mean, this whole ensemble is iconic, to me. The jacket is so sporadically colored because it’s, like, tie-dyed but also sectioned off by color, so that’s awesome; then you got his ratty tee and the plaid shirt tied around his waist. And if that wasn’t enough to butter your bread (pun intended), JK’s got ripped jeans and blocky shoes, baby. What a combo.
Taehyung #1: How pretty is Taehyung’s shirt? It’s flowy and flowery and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. Taehyung’s jeans are also really interesting because they’ve got different shades of denim, little frays and rips, and striped details that make them look interesting. I guess it’s just a shirt and jeans, but the pieces are so beautiful.
IDOL
I take it back; this era was the worst era for getting screenshots. The pain I went through to get Taehyung in that suit and Jungkook in that hanbok was ridiculous. Anyway, as IDOL is a chaotic as fuck song, the outfits were equally chaotic, and all of them were kind of awesome in their own quirky ways. Like, even though Taehyung’s red-and-white outfit with the suspenders is ridiculous under normal circumstances, with Kim Taehyung and the IDOL MV together, it was somehow an awesome outfit. That’s basically how I felt about 90% of the outfits in the MV.
Yoongi: It’s just a really nice outfit. Is that enough? The color of his scarf is stunning, and he’s got a pretty turquoise shirt that you can see beneath the hemline of his white shirt, and both of those add nice pops of color to an otherwise neutral set of outfits the boys had during these shots.
Jungkook: Jungkook’s hanbok is a revelation, for real. It was so hard to get a screen shot of it, and the one I have doesn’t do it justice at all. The faint red details in the jacket are so pretty, especially when they pop up here and there as Jungkook is dancing. Also, the dandelion print on the pants is beautiful. It’s all-black, so it can kind of look basic depending on the shot, but the accents of the hanbok are stunning when you see them.
Taehyung: Taehyung is the only member who’s suit pants did not match the jacket, and I do not know why, but it kind of looks better than the rest of the suits because of it? Like, Taehyung’s blazer pops more to me because his jacket is the only piece of print he has, and the print is gorgeous. There’s these orange sections on his dress shirt collar, too, that are fun. Also, can you see his shoes in the picture? They’re super cool looking, aren’t they? I’ve no idea what they’re called, but I like them a lot.
Airplane pt.2 - Japanese ver.
The boys’ outfits were so fun in this era. I don’t know what style I should call it, but it’s like summer in Mexico, you know? Anyway, I thought all the members looked really unique in this MV because all the pieces were put together really well. Plus, everything was really sandy in tone, which felt like a solid representation of the song for whatever reason.
Jungkook: Is it the dark red jacket? Is it the weird red-and-brown striped shirt? Is it the white pants? It’s a lot about the white pants, actually. Regardless, I can’t explain why Jungkook’s outfit in the beginning of the MV is so nice to look at, but it is. Is it the--I think they are called--spectator shoes?
Taehyung #2: This looks like a plain outfit, I guess, because it’s almost all white, but the individual pieces are awesome. I can’t tell if Taehyung’s got a white cardigan over a white button down or if it’s the same shirt, but two of them; either way, the layered look came out really well. Also, the hat and the glasses straps are a mood. I think what made me love this outfit as a whole, though, are the pants because, I think they’re silk, and they’ve got blue dots all over them, which I apparently really like.
Taehyung #1: I don’t know why I think of Taehyung’s outfit in the leftmost picture as the outfit that represents this era, but I guess that’s why I like it so much. It’s hard to tell in the photo I have, but the lacy cardigan is so pretty. It almost has a glimmer to it because of the material, so that’s nice, but then there’s the scarf and the tan pants and the moccasin-like shoes, and--listen, this is a good fit, okay?
Boy With Luv
If you’ve made it this far, congrats! You’ve found the only era in which I’ve chosen one member for all three outfits. We’ll talk about that in a minute, but Taehyung was styled so damn well for the Boy With Luv MV. I don’t know why they decided on two seperate styles for the boys that was all-pink and then all-white, but they looked so damn good. Like, their other two sets of outfits were just kind-of-retro-and-goofy randomness, but then they had such strong color themes as well. Whatever; it turned out amazingly.
Taehyung #3: I really couldn’t find a third outfit that I really like for the last slot, but I chose Taehyung’s outfit in the rightmost picture because the light denim, white dress shirt, and white detail on the jacket was simple yet interesting. I don’t know if that’s weird, but the little details like the cuffs of the jacket or the cropped jeans with the detail at the bottom made me love the outfit.
Taehyung #2: I thought I knew this was gonna be my number one, but I digress. I don’t know why the other members were basically just in sweats that looked like pajamas--besides Namjoon, who, for some reason, was in a suit and sweater--for the pink theme, but they put Taehyung in a gorgeous jacket that made him look like the dude that invented sex. Does that make sense? Anyway, the tone of pink for outfit, the tie-dye shirt, and the silk jacket are all iconic.
Taehyung #1: No, but Taehyung’s white suit is so stunning? I don’t think the material is silk, but whatever the name of it is that escapes me right now is gorgeous. It’s got, like, a sheen to it that’s really beautiful. And the fluffy sleeves? Please. They’re such a cool texture, and it makes Taehyung look so elegant. As an aside, they definitely darkened the blue of his hair for the shoot with the white suit, right? Because it looks like they did, and the blue his hair is in the leftmost picture is amazing.
Lights
I mean, this era was basically just clothes the boys already wear rather than costumes for the MV, but I’m talking about it anyway. I guess the idea was for the outfits to be casual but colorful to mimic the message of Lights and the tone of the song.
Jungkook #2: This is yet another case in which I didn’t know what outfit to put in the third slot, so I said, “Hey, Jungkook’s pick jacket is nice,” and I arrived here. I mean, it is a nice jacket. Normally, I don’t like hot pink, but I think since Jungkook’s jeans are light and he’s wearing a light shirt, the jacket almost acts as a dark color and offsets the light pieces.
Jungkook #1: I mean, how do I talk about a simple outfit, you know? It just looks nice. He’s got a blue shirt underneath, so that’s a nice pop of color. I think I mostly like the shirt he has on over his tee because it’s pinstriped, and I like pinstripes. That’s all I got, but I really do like the outfit.
Jimin: Can you say, “This is my favorite outfit because of the jacket?” Good. Genuinely, though, this is the nicest outfit, by far, in the Lights era. The way the color is printed on the black is super interesting because it’s like one long stripe, but the stripe is a bit of a gradient with the black from the rest of the jacket creeping in. I don’t know; I like it more than I probably need to.
ON
We’re going with the main MV, kids, but let the record show that Taehyung’s outfit in the Manifesto Film was bomb as fuck. Actually, they were all bomb as fuck. Anyway, I guess this MV was going for a peasant vibe? I don’t mean that in a rude way, but it’s supposed to be about people fighting their fears, right? So, it makes sense that the concept would be about scruffy characters that stand up and fight. So, yeah; a chic peasant vibe.
Jimin: You can’t at all see it in the picture I have, but the reason I chose Jimin’s outfit is because it has some synching in down the front that looks really cool. I don’t want to say that made my decision, but that one detail turned it from a basic outfit to something that looked a bit more elevated. I mean, it’s the same thing with the boots and the fact that the jacket on top is cropped. Little details matter to me.
J-Hope: It’s a basic outfit, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t cool. I think part of the reason I love it so much is because it’s dirty. Is that weird? It’s an outfit that reminds me of scuffed boots because it’s black but a little mussed. Anyway, the overall affect was awesome.
Taehyung: I think this goes down as an iconic Taehyung look, for me. It’s such a good costume. There were a lot of browns in this MV, so--much like with Hobi’s outfit--the charcoal of Taehyung’s pants stood out a lot to me. He’s also got this grey-white combat boots that stick out so much when they’re on camera. Mostly, though, it’s the vest and shirt that got me wild. The vest is such a nice color, but it’s got that ragged feel, the shirt is ratty and antique looking, and the entire ensemble is a win from head to toe. Including the thorns on Taehyung’s neck because, holy shit, are those the coolest additions to any concept in any BTS era.
Black Swan
I tried so hard to capture these outfits, but you really do need to go look at them yourself to understand how pretty they are. Black Swan has kind of a simple MV if you think about it, but honestly, the wardrobe brings so much life and character to it. In the same way I Need U has the shorts stories in it and IDOL has all the CGI in it, I really think the magic from the Black Swan era has a lot to do with the outfits. Especially considering how well the wardrobe looked in conjunction with the choreography.
Yoongi: This was almost another entirely Taehyung era with Taehyung second all-black outfit, but Yoongi really had a stunning concept for his black swan ensemble. I really love that they put him in boots, and his slacks are really pretty, but the shirt they styled him in is such a good piece. It’s entirely black, but it’s still striped, and the contrast in it is so beautiful to look at.
Taehyung #2: So, Taehyung had the most black showing in his white swan outfit, and I don’t know if that’s because Taehyung was supposed to seem like the member that would transform the fastest or what, but I loved his suit a lot. The jacket is super asymmetrical, as you can see in the photo, and it looks gorgeous during the choreo. Also, underneath his black vest, he’s got this sheer turtleneck that looks absolutely beautiful when you see it up close. Plus, the feather detail on Taehyung’s necklace is really pretty, too.
Taehyung #1: Please go look at the suit in the leftmost picture in the MV because it is stunning. I don’t know anything about who designed it or who put Taehyung in it, but it’s crazy beautiful. Like, his shirt is velvet, I think, which is already an interesting textural piece, but then the suit itself has detail work everywhere. The base material has a sheen to it, but then there’s patches that are glittery and gorgeous, as well, and when the light hits them, they’re so, so pretty. I love, love, love this suit.
Stay Gold
This is another era that’s kind of full of typical outfits, but they’ve got some interesting pieces going on that make the wardrobe for Stay Gold stand out more than in Lights or RUN, for example. Because the MV moves from inside to outside, their main outfits look different in each area since you see them in cool-toned scenes and then warm-toned scenes, which is pretty fun.
J-Hope: I’m sorry these photos show, like, nothing, but let me tell about Hobi’s outfit. So, initially, there’s a blue cardigan on top of Hobi’s other two shirts, and that’s not a piece we need to concern ourselves with. The button down Hobi is wearing is blue primarily but the fabric is plaid at the bottom of one of the sleeves and the shirt, which looks awesome. Plus, his pants are kind of mossy looking, and I think they’re red, as well. I don’t know why that looks so cool to me, but there it is.
Yoongi: Yoongi’s just got a lot of nice layering going on. First of all, the boots are awesome. Secondly, the cut of his pants is really nice, especially since he’s got boots on. The baggy sweater he has on is nice, as well, because of the holes in it--I understand that’s weird--but the part that makes his outfit look awesome to me isn’t even in the photo I was able to get. Yoongi’s got a plaid shirt around his waist that’s, like, sand colored, and it compliments his boots so well. Basically, the outfit was built around the boots, and I vibe with it.
Taehyung: I mean, all Taehyung is wearing is a white shirt, and denim jacket, combat boots, and what I believe are black jeans, but it looks so nice because of the specific pieces they are. For instance, the denim jacket is a really stunning shade that I don’t feel like I see enough, and it worked really well with the black jeans. It’s a simple outfit, but I love it because of the solid elements.
Dynamite
This was, without a doubt, the most interesting era of BTS’s wardrobe. Maybe you’d give that title to IDOL, DNA, or War of Hormone because those outfits were so song-specific, just like Dynamite, but the disco theme on these boys is a cultural reset. I think I can confidently say that, for me, the Dynamite era had the absolute best set of outfits as a whole. Every single era has had an outfit I don’t like, but every outfit in the Dynamite MV was fire.
Yoongi: I mean, look how cute he looks, you know? My man’s got a Space Jam jersey on for fuck’s sake; how can I not include this outfit? Real shit, though, the black and white sweatpants and shirt or whatever it is that Yoongi is wearing is so pretty. Like, the print on it is so pleasing to look at, and the cut and stitching of the top piece is super nice.
Jimin: I struggled between choosing this Jimin outfit and the denim outfit with the rainbow details, but I love Jimin’s bomber jacket so damn much. It looks like candy. Whether you think that’s weird or not is your business, but it’s colorful like candy, and it’s shiny like candy, so that’s what the outfit it. Also, he’s got those jeans on that you can tell are hella expensive because they look really nice, and I like those, too. Just as an aside.
Taehyung: This is the reason I’m making this post. This fucking green suit has lived in my mind rent free since I saw it. Whoever it was that put Taehyung in this suit deserves to rule the world because it’s such a focal piece. Legit, like, you put everyone else in loose shirts and denim, but you put Kim Taehyung in a green suit that makes him look like the richest man alive? How could it not be a focal piece? I could talk about Taehyung’s shoes, I could talk about the tan silk of the vest, I could talk about the striped tie, I could talk about Taehyung stunning blonde hair for this era that makes the outfit and the song even better for days. Just know this look is iconic, and it’s probably my favorite look on this list.
Life Goes On
So, I cheated for this one, but I also kind of didn’t. None of these photos are from the main MV because I couldn’t get good photos of these outfits from the main MV; however, these outfits are actually shown in the main MV, so it’s not really cheating. I just went to the other MV versions to get better pictures of them. Anyway, what a comfy vibe they went for with Life Goes On; I love it a lot since the song is what it is. It’s nice to have MV outfits that represent the song so well and play into how you take in the music.
Yoongi: It’s the pastel cardigan, for me, fam. I mean, obviously, the entire outfit is nice, what with the light wash jeans and the white tee. It’s just that the cardigan adds an interesting piece to it to make it less basic.
Jimin: It’s kind of the same thing with Jimin. Well, Jimin’s also got a bear on his shirt, so that’s adorable. Honestly, the violent green of his sweater is both appealing and not appealing, in a way, but I think that’s why I like it so much. It’s fuzzy and has nice texture to it, as well. Jimin definitely looked the most comfy of all the members in this outfit.
Taehyung: Why I love Taehyung in tan-and-white pajamas, I couldn’t say. I think it’s because the pajamas are already nice and have a nice pattern on them, but then you put a cozy looking cardigan on top of them, and it makes it look even better. Or do I like it so much because the cardigan is a solid color where the pajamas have a pattern? Whatever; Taehyung looks cute. That is all.
Film out
I’ll be honest: this era was hard to choose outfits from because everyone kind of looked the same since everything was almost entirely white sweaters and button downs. The outfits were all nice, it’s just that none of them stuck out that much. I mostly went for the outfits that looked the best as a whole rather than considering the individual pieces.
Jin: Jin looked the most unique out all the members; that’s for sure. I like that he’s wearing black pants, but I also really like the short-sleeve shirt he has on top of his white tee. Rather than it being a plain white outfit, the pants and the stripes made it look a bit more interesting.
Yoongi: Yoongi in a white suit always slaps. I don’t know; I like the suit because it’s not really a real suit. It’s a thinner fabric, so I guess it looks a bit more casual than a usual suit, and I like that a lot. Plus, Yoongi’s got some really pretty white shoes that he wears with it.
Taehyung: Of the sweaters and button downs in this MV, I liked Taehyung’s sweater the best. His is similar to Jungkook’s but Jungkook’s sweater was a bit darker, I think, and I like the shade of Taehyung’s. Plus, Taehyung’s got white shoes and white pants, which make the whole outfit look really beautiful. The textural difference between the pieces makes the difference, I think.
Butter
So, the queen came out and broke records. She also gave me a Taejin goldmine. Y’all, it’s not like the other members aren’t flirty as hell in Butter, but Taejin were absolute other beings. Anyway, I think the boys had something like five outfits for this MV? Mostly suits, but there were two sets of outfits that were odd but also fun. Those ones, I didn’t love, but suits are hard to choose from. These three are the ones that really stuck out.
Taehyung #2: I think it’s the shirt. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what in the world is on it, but I like the texture. I liked JK’s suit in the beginning, too, but I think I liked the Taehyung’s lighter shirt a lot better. Otherwise, the two are close to the same. Oh, the sunglasses are a vibe, too.
Jin: Why has no one put Jin in yellow before now? Why did take a song about a yellow spread to put Jin in yellow? Honestly, of the yellow-detailed outfits at the end of the MV, I liked Jin’s the best because the yellow was used in a few, small places that popped rather than being too understated or overblown (no offense to Taehyung and Hobi’s yellow jackets). Like, Jin doesn’t have a tie, so it’s not blocking the shirt, the yellow stripes on his pants look so cool when he dances, and the pocket square is a nice detail. So, Jin looks good as fuck in this MV.
Taehyung #1: I was done for the second I saw Kim Taehyung in a bright orange suit. Taehyung is always the one that gets the suits like this, isn’t he? I mean, he can work it, though. The nude tie was a really gorgeous detail, I thought, because it didn’t retract from the suit at all. I guess the same can be said about the shirt, too. I don’t know, I just really love the entire package of Taehyung’s outfit in the leftmost picture.
Permission to Dance
This was such a cute little music video, and I thought the cowboy/Western theme was super fun since the boys have never done this concept before. I knew what my number one was gonna be from the teaser, but the last two were difficult to pick. I liked Yoongi’s outfit at the end of the MV, and I liked Jungkook’s outfit in the last frame (but there were no close-ups of it, unfortunately). Ultimately, I settled on what I did because I liked the details.
Jin: Sometimes I like simplicity, and Jin’s outfit was simple, but the gold paisley design on his pants--which are leather by the way; I know, absolutely criminal--is gorgeous. I also liked his boots a lot and the fact that his fringe was on his shirtfront pockets.
Taehyung #2: Initially, I had Namjoon’s first outfit in this list, but after watching the Permission to Dance MV way too many times, I ended really loving Taehyung’s all-red outfit. I liked the fringe on the legs, I like the fit of the slacks, I love the cut of the shirt, I love the way they styled this outfit, I like the boots, the accessories are awesome, and this outfit flatters Taehyung so damn much. Basically, even though it’s just red on red, it’s a damn good way to do red on red.
Taehyung #1: This fit is it, fam. It’s it on Taehyung specifically, and it’s it in general. Especially on Taehyung, though. That’s not what this is about. Anyway, the pieces of this outfit are really nice. The hat, surprisingly, fits this particular outfit really well. The denim wash on the shirt and the jeans look really nice together, and all the details--from the rips in the jeans to the bandana at the hips to the belt to the chain--were all things that made me think this outfit was awesome the moment I saw it. Not to mention the boots and accessories.

Night Strolls, Summer Breeze
Summary: This was inspired by the “In the Summer” MV by ARASHI (Listen to it you guys!!) Tony has been working nonstop, so Y/N decided to join him in his summer escapade. The other avengers join this summer escapade, including Steve, where they witnessed your weakness (the sea!). Steve, on the other hand, has been having a hard time expressing his feelings for Y/N, so he had to resort to other methods.
Warning/s: Seasickness, Fluff!
Pairing: Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader

Tony has been working nonstop in his laboratory for 6 weeks. It’s summertime and Pepper has been nagging him to go outside and go to the beach.
“I’ll go if Y/N’s coming with me.” Tony finally responds to Pepper’s request. You were caught off guard by Tony’s sudden comment, you shoot your head up and turn your head towards Tony's and Pepper’s direction. “I - uhm - I - ” you stuttered.
Pepper looks at you with pleading eyes.. Tony’s gaze,on the other hand, is intimidating and scary but beyond that, his eyes look tired and dull. Tony really needs to rest.
“Sure, I’ll come with you.” you stated.
“Yes!” Pepper rejoiced. “Thank you Y/N!” She starts running towards your direction and hugs you. “Don’t worry about the logistics. I’ll fix them all for you.” She takes her phone out to make some calls and walks out of the laboratory.
“Traitor.” Tony said after making sure that Pepper is out of earshot. “ I thought you hated the beach!”
You grab the transparent tablet beside you, and hand it to Tony.
“I do hate the beach, everything about it makes me uncomfortable. But, ” You added. “Seeing you overwork like this makes me more uncomfortable. Pepper is right Tony, you need rest.”
Tony sighs and returns the tablet. “Fine.” He grabs his phone. “But I’m calling Steve.”

“Are you okay?” Steve hands you a bottle of water.
“Hmmm.” You respond and as much as you want to respond properly, moving even an inch of your muscle makes you more nauseous. Natasha sits next to you and hands you a wet towel. “You can lie down if you want Y/N” She suggested.
You looked up and placed the towel on your face. “I’m fine.” You stretch your legs out and allowed it to rest on a small box that Steve placed in front of you. You position your body in a way that prevents the wet towel from sliding.
“You should’ve just stayed in the hotel.” Steve remarked.
“Yeah… I should’ve” You agreed. Staying in the hotel was the most practical thing to do especially with your seasickness. But you really wanted to look out for Tony; this was the least you could do after everything that he had done for you. You are his assistant afterall.
“Why didn’t you tell us about your seasickness,Y/N?” You hear Tony’s voice coming from your right side. “Never mind.” He probably saw that you were too weak to reason out. “I’ll just call Pepper to cancel this island hopping.”
Immediately after you hear the word “cancel” a rush of adrenaline flowed through you. You reach out for Tony’s hands. You sandwich his hands between yours and try to hold it as tight as you can. You shake your head in disapproval.
“Fine.” Tony sighed and placed his phone in his pocket. You let go of his hand. He sits on the box where your legs are resting. “But promise me you’ll rest when we arrive on the island.” He gives you a pat on the head and walks away.
“Just call me when you need me Y/N.” Natasha also left and went after Tony.
You are trying to return to the position before Tony almost made the phone call to Pepper. And when you are about to place the towel on your face, you hear Steve clearing his throat.
“That position looks uncomfortable.” Steve commented.
Before you can even respond, he pulls you and with force of gravity and momentum (and his super soldier strength), your head falls on to Steve’s lap.“We still have 30 minutes to get to the next island. You should rest.” You don’t have the strength to complain so you straighten your back and place your legs on the chair where Nat previously sat.
The yacht suddenly makes a hard turn causing you to lose your balance, your hand moves to search for something that you can hold on to and you found yourself grabbing Steve’s arm. The sudden movement caught you off guard and your hands started to shake. Steve must’ve noticed the sudden contraction of your muscles. He moves his freehand, reaches for your hand and holds it gently. Your grip on Steve’s arm loosens and your muscles begin to relax under the warmth of the palm of his hand.
“I won’t let go.” He reassured you.

The smell of a freshly brewed coffee awakens your senses, it took a while before you can process the fact that you're laying on a soft bed covered in white sheets with your head resting on two pillows. You open your eyes and slowly sit up.
“Took you long enough.”
You turn your head towards the direction of the familiar voice.
“Steve.” you said.
“Y/N.” Steve responded. “I know you don’t drink coffee, but I’ll boil water for you for your tea. Chamomile, right?”
“I’m sorry for bothering like this.” You stand up f and walk towards Steve’s direction. You take the teabag and put it inside the teacup that Steve prepared. “I just wanted to help Mr. Stark, but here I am, being a nuisance to everyone’s supposed relaxation time.” You sighed and poured the hot water into the teacup.
Steve took a sip from his cup of coffee. “Well.” He said. “I can’t speak for Tony or the others, but drinking coffee like this is at the top of my ‘relaxation activities’ list.” He sits on the chair across the breakfast nook. ”And you’re not a nuisance, Y/N. If anything, you’re actually giving me a valid excuse to escape Tony’s, err, extroversion?”
You chuckle at Steve’s statement “Stop bad mouthing my employer.” The two of you laughed.
“Do you think my extroverted boss is having fun?” You asked, still worried about Tony and how you ruined his supposed rest.
Steve pulls his phone out of his pocket, swipes across it and a hologram of Tony’s bust appears and started talking.
“Hey Steve. How’s Y/N? I know you’re Pentium 4 generation brain won’t be able to understand this but please relay this to Y/N. Thanks to this small vacation, I was able to think of a good idea to address the problem with the modular controls, I might need her to polish up the codes for the instrumentation and the wiring. I know she can easily execute it easily, so she doesn’t have to think about it so much. I also thought of a new invention idea, well not really ‘a’ cause I had like 10 ideas. Tell her to rest well cause I might need her help, I don’t need sleepyheads in my lab. Also, there will be a meteor shower later at 12 midnight.” Your eyes lit, Tony knew your affinity for the stars, constellations and galaxy, you looked at the wall clock , it’s 11PM. “Pepper chose this island so she can get the best view. That’s it. P.S. Rogers, Don’t even think of doing anything to - ” Steve turned the message off.
“I guess my extroverted billionaire playboy employer is fully rested.” You let out a sigh of relief. It feels good to see that kind of energy from Tony. He has been having a creative block for weeks and seeing him have a breakthrough during this time made the seasickness worth it. You can’t wait to hear about his ideas when you’re back in the laboratory.
“Thanks, Steve.”
Steve smiled. “Now that Tony’s finally out of your mind, do you want to talk about…” Steve touches the nape of his neck and looks at you. You tilt your head in response, he looks away and looks at his cup of coffee, instead. Steve cleared his throat. “...your plans for the meteor shower?”
“Hmmm.” you pondered. “I’ll probably go outside after drinking this tea, and walk around the shore,feel the sand on my feet, I guess? How about you?”
“Good question.” Steve stretched his hands. “I’m actually planning to walk around with you.”
“Don’t you have any other plans?” You chuckled.
“If I had any, I would cancel all of them.” Steve whispered under his breath and took a sip of his coffee.
“Did you say something?” You asked.
“No.” He answered. “No, I didn’t.”

When you were about to go outside, Steve stopped you.
“Wait. You’re going outside with those clothes?”
“Yes? I didn’t really pack for night strolls. I didn’t bring any jacket with me.”
“Here.” Steve took out his jacket from his duffle bag and handed it to you. “You can use this.”
“You’re my hero!” You teased.
“And you’re not funny. Just put the jacket on Y/N.” He retorted.

You step outside the hotel and take a deep breath. “I’m not really a fan of beaches in the morning but this…” You allow yourself to drown in the sensation of the cool breeze touching your skin, complemented by the calming sounds of the waves and the sea. You stretch your hands out. “I can get used to this.”
“Are you sure, you don’t have any plans for tonight?” You asked Steve again.
“Nope. I’m just going to keep an eye on yo-- my jacket.”
The two of you arrived by the shore and you decided to take off your sandals and just feel the sand and the momentary wave of the sea touch the sole of your feet. Steve stretched his hand and held your sandals, “ I can carry this for you.” And you gladly obliged.
“You’ve been awfully quiet since we went outside. What’s up?” You asked.
“Nothing much.” He responded.
You ran forward and when you’re a few feet away from Steve you stopped, turned back and shouted, “Steeeeve!”
“What?” Steve shouts back, his voice a little louder than the usual. Steve walked towards your direction
“Nothing. I just wanted to test out your super soldier senses.”
“What does that even mean?” Steve chuckles.
“It means.” You stop walking and Steve stops too. You search for his eyes in the midst of the darkness. “I’m your friend, Steve, even if you tell me a thousand times that nothing’s bothering you, I know there is.”
“Are you sure I’m the super soldier? Not you?”
“It’s called women’s intuition. I don’t need a super soldier serum for that.”
“I miss moments like this.” You continued. “When was the last time we talked like this? Tony was busy but you’ve been pretty involved in a lot of things too.”
“Yeah... I was.” Steve paused. “I missed yo -- I mean, everyone in the avengers tower misses you. Bucky specially misses your unique recipes.”
You face the direction of the sea and look up. You marvel at the beauty of the star-ladden view. The reflection on the surface of the water make it more beautiful. Infinite.
“Actually, Y/N...” Steve moves closer beside you. “I’ve been wanting to say this -”
“Ah!” You beamed as you witness thousands or millions of meteors falling from the sky. You close your eyes to make a wish. “Make a wish too Steve!”
The gaps between your fingers are suddenly filled by Steve’s. It feels warm, but it’s a different type of warmth. It’s not like the warmth of Steve’s jacket that protect you from the cold night breeze. It’s not like the warmth of the first ray of sun that touches your face or the early morning tea that you drink every morning.
It’s the type of warmth that you want to hold tight at night and to embrace in the morning.
It’s the kind of warmth that you don't want to let go. Not now. Not ever.
You squeeze Steve’s hands in response.
“My wish...” Steve smiled. “It came true.”

I'll go first this time 😄😄 I really really really love Twice's Alcohol-Free music video!! It's so pretty and I love all of their outfits!!! The whole vibe is immaculate. I think I just love mvs that have a really strong aesthetic. In terms of Ateez's mvs, I really like Wave and Thanxx. They're really pretty 💞💞 And I don't think there's anything I particularly dislike in mvs. I guess the only thing would be if the sets aren't that interesting. I would like to see more retro concepts I think, but maybe a 50s concept, and one where they really go for it!!! Like its not half-way there, or only 50s inspired, I want someone to commit LOL Oh I also really like NCT Dream's mv for Life is Still Going On 💞💞💞 It's hard for me to choose which mvs are my favorite 😂😂 There's so many good ones

So I'm an absolute fanatic for answer's MV. it just scratches every part of my brain exactly and it's so beautiful. The beginning and ending music makes me shiver every time. I get such strong fic ideas from it and it's the reason why I have a MV series for my writing. There's also that one scene of when the camera goes back and ateez and black clothes ateez are at the long table staring at each other and it's just So Good. black cat nero is another. the dark concept? vampires? the song? absolute perfection. it's literally my vibe. I love it. I also rly love daechwita by agust d!!! the MV is like an entire historical kdrama and I'd be lying if i said it didn't make me go on a month long research spree about the Joseon Dynasty of Korea bc it was so inspiring and cool to me. Also Yoongi (my bias) is hot and there's decapitation which is just very cool of him. Those are probably my top three lol. thanxx gets an honorable mention, along with lion by gidle, along with miroh. there's just so many but those are my favs ajfkdkfn
