What if you fell? A ficlet. ^-^
Sun edition. ☀️
You hear Sun's hurried steps as you stare at the floor.
Did you just? What did you even trip on?
"SUNSHINE!?" Sun calls.
You look over to your feet, your ankle throbs. The culprit sits there as innocent as can be, oblivious to the damage it caused, as inanimate objects tend to be. You knew one of the toy cars were missing, to be honest you thought one of the kiddies slipped it in their pocket again, how did you miss it?
"Are you ok?" Sun puts his hand on your shoulder.
You look over to him, worry painted over his faceplate. Or well as worried as a robot could look, most of it was in his voice really.
"Y-yeah I'm fine, just need to-"
You look over to the box of things you’d launched across the floor so you can see the damage but they were already packed away.
"Just need to?" He asks.
You were going to say clean up but…
"Sit for a second?"
"I think you'll need more than that, but don't worry doctor Sun is here. I'll patch you up in no time."
"There's no need for that Sunny I'm sure I'll manage." You reply as he helps you up.
You wince as you try to put your foot down and a sharp pain shoots up your leg. Darn that ankle is pretty bad.
"Nonsense, any accident in my daycare is my job patch up. It'll take no time at all."
You can't argue with that.
With Sun's help you hobble to the closest chair.
"Thanks Sunny."
"No problem, now…" his eyes glow in that way they do when he scans something, in this case you. "Alright, a little RICE will help."
"Rice?" You quiry.
"Yes Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. That will fix you right up in no time." He heads over to collect the first aid supplies needed. "This will do and that." He mumbles to himself.
You take off your shoe and sock to get a better look, it's getting pretty swollen, that car really did a number on you huh.
In no time at all, Sun is back.
He has an armful of things and a stool.
He drops everything and croches in front of you. "Take this for the pain."
He hands you some kids pain medication. You take it. Hopefully it'll kick in soon.
"Now I need to wrap it." He grabs the bandage from the pile of things.
"You do what you need to do."
He lifts your foot before he carefully and slowly wraps your ankle in a bandage. "You really need to be more careful, Sunshine."
"I know and I'll try."
"Please do, we get so worried when you get hurt."
"I know, I know."
He then tucks the end of the bandage in to finish. "How's that? Not too tight?"
You try to test the bandage job without moving your foot to much. "Ummm, yeah, it's perfect thank you."
"Great." He chimes before sliding the stool under your leg and placing a Sun and Moon themed ice pack on top. "Now you need to rest while I finish clean up."
"Can't I help?"
"No no no no no. You can’t walk on your foot for at least a week and then still take it easy for another if not two."
"But-"
"No buts, these are the doctor's orders. No running, no walking, no standing, no driving, no climbing, no stairs."
"Let me guess…"
"You'll just have to stay for sleepovers." He chimes.
You're trapped at the animatronics mercy. Good thing they're you're favourites.

Apparently this needs to be said so
Forgetting things is morally neutral! Memory issues are morally neutral!
You're not a bad person if you...
forget things quickly
forget people
can't remember entire stages of your life
can't remember important things
can remember some things very well and forget other things all the time
can't remember things (or anything!) about your interests
forget to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom, etc
forget to reply to texts
remember things and immediately forget them again
can't remember birthdays, events, etc
frequently answer 'I forgot' to questions
can't retain new information
forget things you used to know
only remember things when it's too late
have vague, distorted and/or unreliable memories
depend on others to know how an event you were in played out
have other symptoms that are worsened by memory issues and vice versa
... and anything else I might have missed!

the significance of the number, 3 in tgcf gets me every time.
xie lian's third ascension is when everything changes (for the better)
hua cheng introduces himself as "san lang" when he meets xie lian after his third ascension. "san lang" means "third son." it's the third time, or the third form (his third life, if you will) that hua cheng has met xie lian in.
there are three calamities (if you ignore bai wuxian, and if you still count qi rong as a calamity)
there are multiple trios — xie lian, mu qing, feng xin; shi wudu, he xuan, shi qingxuan; shi wudu, pei ming, ling wen; and so on.
there were thirty three officials who disgraced xie lian; and were consequently destroyed by hua cheng.
hua cheng released three thousand lanterns for xie lian.
he also died three times for xie lian; first as hong hong'er, second as wu ming, and third as the supreme ghost king.
all this information, coupled with the fact that three is considered a lucky number in chinese culture just makes me feel so many emotions

Neil is there to protect the one who protects them all.
Andrew always knew how to protect. He sure has his own ways that many fail to understand but the bottom line stays the same.
With Neil coming into his life he gets to be something else than just the protector - which I want to talk about here.
The exy obsessed junkie who claims to only care about his own survival is the first one who sees beyond Andrews play - who sees that Andrew doesn’t take care of himself at all. Too busy keeping an eye on everyone to care about what happens to his own self. And Neil hates it furiously.
So Neil puts Andrew first.
Starting with his health. Exy is important to Neil but he knows Andrew needs to get off the drugs first. The foxes found it easier to deal with Andrew while he’s on drugs, so they didn’t put much effort into changing that - Neil though. Neil saw what the drugs did to Andrew. So they had to get rid off it as fast as possible.
So he makes a deal. He gives up a piece of a truth, gives a promise and makes him go take care of himself.
He punches Riko because he couldn’t stop himself.
He agrees to go to Evermore - he agrees to torture just to keep Andrew save.
Afterwards he refuses to back down his care after being explicitly told to. “If it means loosing you then no”.
After being brutally tortured, one of the first things he does is inspecting Andrews bruises. Inspecting Andrews bruises the same way Andrew inspects his. “All that time fighting and you never learned how to duck?”
He told the cops off when they indicated getting Andrew off him “you’ll what, asshole?”
He was there in a heartbeat the second Andrew got pushed in the final game. And only backed off after checking Andrew was really alright.
For the first time Andrew has someone who has his back the same way he had the backs of everyone else for years. Andrew is fiercely protective and for the first time he is fiercely protected too.
“You are a pipe dream.”

I honestly love the clothing styles of each of the turtles in this show and I love how these styles really incorporate their personalities as well.
Like, obviously Donnie has the best sense of style, yeah? Think that’s something pretty agreed upon here. Everything we see him put together is very meticulously crafted and clean. That goes with his personality because Donnie is a very meticulous person in general, and he knows what he likes very, very well, and knows how to flaunt it in turn. Him commenting on colors he enjoys or disapproving of outfits that the others see no problem with also shows how he just generally has an eye for this kind of thing. He doesn’t just know what looks good on himself, but also what looks good on others - and I think this ties into his love of gift giving too. Donnie also has a flair for making sure that his things have his “mark” on them, and his clothing is no exception. All that he wears and how he wears them screams “Donnie.”
Mikey is really fun because his styles are honestly a pendulum between super simplistic and incredibly out there. And often, you’re going to see a lot of color or patterns to both. And in my opinion I think that all reflects really well on Mikey’s character - he’s got a colorful personality but even more than that he’s incredible sure of who he himself is. Mikey’s style, I feel, is less what looks good as clothes and more what sparks joy in Mikey himself. His bright stickers he wears are a testament of that! He’s comfortable in his own skin and his style reflects this perfectly, whether he goes for a more out-there look or a more toned down one.
Now, for Leo. Okay, I think I’m actually in the minority here I feel because Leo’s style isn’t really that bad? Hear me out- if you actually look at what he wears, try taking out, like, one accessory. Suddenly, that outfit works! He even manages to put together many good outfits in the series, but his “bad” ones are the ones that tend to stand out, alas (just like how his mistakes tend to be big ones oop-) Basically, my personal look at him is not that he’s inept at styling at all, but that he has a “too much” gene. And like everyone else, this sense of style is completely like him, too. Going too far to impress when all he needed to do was slow it down some to think things through. (And funnily enough, a lot of his outfits take random aspects from his brothers too - “nothing without them” huh?)
For Raph, I feel bad for him since pretty much all of his clothes are inevitably going to be ripped, but he makes them work pretty much each time. Like Leo, Raph tends to go more sporty with his looks, but I also noticed that his stuff often goes in that in between of comfy, cool, and cute. His pajama suit in particular comes to mind in terms of “cute” as it’s more something you’d see younger children in rather than older kids, and I think it can be a subtle nod to the fact that for all Raph tries to seem older, he’s still just a kid too.
I could probably go on, but these are just all off the top of my head - I love how the boys’ personality’s come out in so many different ways.

I have a DP x DC AU brainworm about Danny and Tim being long lost siblings (twins or otherwise).
Because both of them have faced evil future versions of themselves who've almost ended the world in some way through altering time. If Clockwork had been watching Danny's world-ending timelines, then who's to say he wouldn't keep tabs on Tim's as well?
Imagine that the brothers had to be temporarily separated at a young age to ensure a peaceful future. Danny had to be in Amity Park to gain his ghost powers and become the new Ghost King. Meanwhile, Tim had to stay in Gothem to become the new Robin, something he'd have been less likely to do if Danny stayed in his life.
However, their separation was only supposed to be temporary. What if both Dan and Future Tim were from futures where they never reunited as teens? Heck, what if both of them were from the SAME future?
The Nasty Burger explosion happened, Danny killed Vlad and absorbed his soul, and became Dan. Dan grew too powerful for the GIW to handle anymore, so the government tried reaching out to the Justice League. But oops! Future Tim already killed off and tore down that whole organization, meaning the world no longer had it's protectors to stop this new foe.
Though they were strangers, the future brothers unwittingly collaborated in sealing the world's fate.
Back to the present, the Observants wanted Clockwork to get rid of Danny and also Tim before that timeline came to pass. What they didn't understand was Clockwork's plan.
See, the Infinite Realms needed a new monarch to replace Pariah Dark, but not just anyone would do. In timelines outside of Dan's future, the U.S government would've started a war with the Infinite Realms anyway. One that would guarantee Earth's destruction and offset the balance of other realms near it.
The war is set to start in Amity Park, but the information blackout is preventing it's citizens from getting outside help. Mid-to-late teen Danny can't bring down the Anti Ecto Acts alone. He'd be struggling to keep the Realms beings from invading his home as it is. And the government's iron grip on the city makes it nearly impossible for news to get out to the masses.
Danny being the brother of a vigilante detective across the country is another story.
Batman's mentorship would give Tim the training needed to eventually track down his lost sibling. And through Red Robin's connections to the Justice League, Danny could get help overturning the Anti Ecto Acts while he keeps declarations of war at bay on his end. Danny and Tim's combined efforts could be what's keeping the world at peace instead of ending it.
Long story short: Clockwork kills two birds with one stone by uniting a pair of long lost brothers through the prevention of an interdimensional war.
