hihi im burple

i love writing and i just joined tumblr like a month ago (ive had this account(?) for like a year though) and i wanted to write my little one shots and share it with the community!! i might not have stuff rn but i will soon!!

if you like my writing, i am opening requests (yay) but i do have some things that i will not write..

nsfw (genuinely do not feel comfortable with that)

homophobic/racist/ableist fics

i am open to pretty much writing anything else, but i do have the right to deny writing a fic!!

our life now and forever (tamarack and qiu)

i can write one shots for those characters, but just note that if you wanted someone like liz or lee (from ol:ba), it might be a little ooc!! i don’t mind writing things for them (or any character in those franchises) though, it’s completely fine!! disclaimer: every character might be a little ooc now that i think about it.

#don't ask me why i felt the need to smudge over the clothes as well i just did ok lol #yes i have pooks #this is me lol #i've been trying to do this for 10 months #and rolled over for 10 months #well i still roll over a lot but i can hold better now before rollin #one second looking at it and my brain immediately went #ok this pose is cool af i gotta HAVE do it myself #the instructor keeps bein like 'hmmmn' and saying the hold duration is too short #apparently i have to hold the pose for at least a minute #10 minutes actually #but i see this as a win #lol #yoga #this is not the yoga place btw

the older i get and the closer i am to reaching 30, the more the people around me try to deny me my age. it’s a constant ‘oh you’re just turning 29 again teehee 🤭’ or ‘dont tell your SO that, he’ll leave you for a younger model 😉’ and i just???? hate it?????????

i spent my entire teenaged years fighting for my life. i crawled through the deepest pits of my depression to cling to the promise of a life beyond that pain. i was so convinced that i was going to die young, that i would never see the grace of my age starting with a 2, let alone 3.

so im going to turn 30, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do to stop me from loving it.

#i’ve been thinking abt that cringe post #i think the latent feelings behind ‘cringe’ are shame and sometimes envy/bitterness #same vibes as when six year olds say ‘those toys are for babies’ if they’ve been shamed for their age by older kids #anyway. i think part of the healing process is realizing that shame puts you at war with yourself bc part of yourself is a social being!#and that part of you wants community and acceptance (maybe love). shame is the absence of acceptance #unlearning shame means learning self-love and gaining the confidence to find your people #jerma #cw jerma #(someone asked me to tag lol)
