You hoped he’d let you slide this once. You don’t really have anybody to talk to after you were jolted awake from night terrors over what that awful squeaking sex-obsessed freak of a moth did to you throughout your contract with him

Angel is there as a friend but he’s busy still suffering under Valentino’s maniac rule right now, you don’t want to bother any of the staff nor Charlie about your problems whilst they are busy. Sooooo

You figured your emotional support, the one who has been very patient and understanding with you. He hasn’t let you down once just of yet

In, what felt like a blink, his crimson red eyes flashed a sense of genuine affection before returning to the usual half-emotionless bloody haze as the radio effect on his rather mighty voice kicks in with the overlap of both sincerely caring and classic semi-mocking Alastor style caring

It doesn’t help that you swear you can feel his heartbeat grow faster…

I love your thoughtful SoC meta! I would love to know your thoughts on Kaz and Jesper’s relationship. Specifically, I adore Kaz but one thing in particular that always seemed so dark to me was that he enabled Jesper’s gambling addiction even though he obviously does care about him. Kaz is obviously willing to do a lot of fucked up things in service of his goals, but this one in particular, toward his own brother figure, I find sad. It’s kind of addressed during their fight at the end of CK but still feels a little unfinished.

I love Kaz and Jesper's relationship. There's sooooo much to dig into there (way too much for a single meta); it's super juicy and complicated, and one of the best complexities of it is that they often enable and feed off of each other's trauma. The pre-canon status quo is a situation where Kaz and Jesper are, in many ways, using and abusing each other as a way of avoiding dealing with their own trauma. It's a fascinating push-and-pull dynamic because neither of them are pushovers and yet neither one is particularly interested in facing their Issues™ head-on, and they both seemingly recognize that in each other and give each other an uncharacteristic amount of grace in helping the other avoid dealing with it.

In Kaz's case, that most often looks like enabling Jesper's gambling addiction and then repeatedly bailing him out of trouble under the justification of "he's loyal and competent, it would be wasteful to let the other gangs kill him." In Jesper's case, this looks like ignoring Kaz's countless and extremely obvious issues in favor of playing the loyal second. Basically, it's not just Kaz enabling Jesper's gambling addiction; it's also Jesper enabling Kaz's unhinged ruthlessness with little pushback other than a few snarky comments.

They also project a lot of their own issues onto each other! Kaz pushes Jesper away in part because he's projecting the grief and blame he feels over Jordie's death onto Jesper, but Jesper is using Kaz's ruthless pragmatism to escape the crippling disappointment of returning home to face his father's judgement for being a college drop-out, gambling addict, and gang member. And Kaz withholds praise and verbal declarations of trust from Jesper because he hates acknowledging that he cares about people, but Jesper uses Kaz's emotional detachment as a crutch to avoid dealing with his own commitment issues by pining after a boy he knows will never reciprocate his advances. This status quo is, of course, insanely unhealthy for both boys long-term, but where would we be if any of the Crows actually dealt with their issues in a healthy way?

That dynamic, imo, is also only possible because Kaz and Jesper have known each other for longer than anyone else in the main crew; Kaz may have let Inej in further, but he let Jesper in first. As far as we know, Jesper is the first person Kaz genuinely lets past his mile-high walls since Jordie died...but he very deliberately holds him at arms' length in a way that he does not with Inej (something that Jesper notices and is jealous about!). Being "the first" in this case unfortunately comes with a lot of baggage, and Kaz and Jesper would both lowkey rather die than talk about how much they care what the other thinks of them.

Kaz clearly didn't recruit Jesper looking for a friend or someone who reminded him of his dead older brother; he recruited him because he saw someone with a useful skillset who he preferred to be at his side rather than in a rival gang or dead in the canals. It's to Jesper's credit that he managed to break through those walls anyway, but there's only so much he can do in the face of Kaz's armor. And like Inej, Kaz's closed-off personality and actions hurt Jesper repeatedly. But he stays anyway, because he (like Inej) sees the boy underneath the mask that Kaz wears and cares a little too much to let him go:

“He wouldn’t—” Jesper stopped short, and then he laughed. “Of course he would.” Jesper flexed his knuckles, concentrated on the lines of his palms. “Kaz is…I don’t know, he’s like nobody else I’ve ever known. He surprises me.” “Yes. Like a hive of bees in your dresser drawer.” Jesper barked a laugh. “Just like that.” “So what are we doing here?” Jesper turned back to the sea, feeling his cheeks heat. “Hoping for honey, I guess. And praying not to get stung.” Inej bumped her shoulder against his. “Then at least we’re both the same kind of stupid.” “I don’t know what your excuse is, Wraith. I’m the one who can never walk away from a bad hand.” She looped her arm in his. “That makes you a rotten gambler, Jesper. But an excellent friend.” “You’re too good for him, you know.” “I know. So are you." -Ch. 17, Six of Crows

Kaz is unused to verbalizing the trust he places in others and actively in denial about how much he cares about them until Crooked Kingdom; he spends his time deliberately being cruel and pushing people away even as he proves over and over again that he doesn't actually want them to leave him. This casual assholery hits those closest to him (Inej and Jesper) the hardest because they are clearly trusted with his life but not with his heart, and that hurts them both.

For Inej, resolving that behavior looks like giving him an ultimatum ("I will have you without armor or I will not have you at all") and telling herself to walk away unless he meets her challenge. For Jesper? That looks like duking it out on top of the Geldrenner when they're both at rock bottom, because of course that's the only way either one of those boys is ever going to verbalize the tension that underlies their relationship. There's just a lot of baggage and mutual toxicity and unsaid words that neither of them are very interested in dealing with until everything comes to a head during the Clocktower fight.

I think we also forget that the Kaz-Jesper dynamic we see in the majority of the duology is not their normal dynamic: it's how they interact when Kaz is mad at Jesper. And a mad Kaz is, within the scope of canon, a pretty cruel Kaz, which is something that I think a good portion of the fandom likes to handwave away in favor of pointing towards Kaz's active attempts to be better in the back half of the duology.

Ultimately we only see the "normal" Kaz-Jesper dynamic for the first 12 or so chapters of Six of Crows (when the Dock Fight/Eyeball Incident happens) and the last few chapters of Crooked Kingdom. Those chapters are a really interesting look into what that relationship looks like when they're on good terms. It's clear that they're good friends, trust each other a hell of a lot, and joke around with each other quite a bit (the "saves ammo" joke in the parley chapter, their interactions during the Hellgate breakout, the "man with a knife!" "man with a gun!" exchange immediately after Kaz throws Oomen overboard, etc), but we also see the stress points: Jesper getting mad at Kaz for not telling him about Big Bolliger's betrayal, Kaz sending Wylan with Jesper during the prep chapters to keep an eye on him, and Jesper's bee and honey conversation with Inej on the Ferolind, for example.

These stress points are what fracture and crack in the aftermath of Jesper accidentally alerting the other gangs that they were headed out on the Ice Court Job and nearly causing Inej's death, and further buckle under the stress and pressure that Kaz and Jesper deal with during the following month and a half: the Ice Court job, Van Eck kidnapping Inej on Vellgeluk, Colm showing up in Ketterdam, and the Sugar Silo/Auction scheme.

In this way, I think Kaz enabling Jesper's gambling addiction is less about Kaz being actively cruel towards someone he sees the ghost of his brother in and punishing Jesper for the sins he percieves Jordie to have made (which is also true, and a meta for a different time!) and more about the weird balance of toxic mutual leniency Kaz and Jesper have allowed the other to provide for them for over two years...and how that leniency breaks down once it's not just Kaz's life or time on the line when Jesper fucks up.

Put more succinctly: for a long time, Kaz and Jesper existed in a toxic balance of enabling each others' worst impulses and behaviors, which was only able to be verbally addressed when they were both at rock bottom, desperate, and seemingly had very little left to lose. This conflict is somewhat addressed and resolved in the conversation where Kaz refuses to give Jesper the last of the parem and offers up a tiny bit of information about Jordie—showcasing his own growth and how he's finally trying to break the cycle by refusing to enable Jesper's self-destructive tendencies—but that level of tension is unable to be properly resolved in one single blowout argument. And I think it's deliberately left a bit unfinished because neither of them are really in a place where they're ready to address everything they've left unsaid for so long, even in the epilogue chapters.

However, we do see the beginnings of that reconcilitaion (Kaz asking Inej to tell Jesper that he's "missed around the Slat") and the story ends on a hopeful note regarding Kaz's commitment to removing his armor, which implies a lot about the resolution of that dangling thread. And of course, we know that by Rule of Wolves they're back to being thick as thieves and fucking around as usual, so clearly they hashed it out at some point in the in-between (and personally? I don't think it took either of them very long after the CK epilogue chapters to do that hashing out).

tl;dr: I love it when two traumatized and emotionally constipated teenage boys use each other to avoid facing their own personal problems and then get into a fistfight to avoid talking about how much they care about each other. Top-tier dynamic. Chef's kiss. I could talk about them for hours.

Lae'zell likes her privacy and PDA is still pretty much a no no, unless you're in danger if that makes sense. Like if you get into trouble and are badly hurt she'll rush over and tend to your wounds and offer little kisses on your face.

The first kiss with Gale is sweet and only a little awkward. Gale probably says some dumb shit like "Ah, forgive me. It's been more than a while since I've kissed a material being," and it makes you laugh. He's a fast learner though and soon has you swooning over every kiss he has to offer. Loves to laze around in bed with you while he reads so he can leave sweet, almost mindless kisses to your head and cheek. The easiest way to pull that nerd from a book is to lay on his belly and kiss him all over. He might complain at first but if you kiss his neck it's over with. Motherfucker is sooooo ticklish there that it immediately breaks down any resistance. EW and his laugh is so fucking cute, he definitely snorts.

Sometimes his beard hairs tickle you if y'all are like Really kissing and he always feels so bad lmao. Like immediately trimming his shit every time it happens even though you reassure time and time again him that you literally do not care. It's not like you mind the beard burn in other places after all wink wink.

❊ Shadowheart:

She definitely gives the sweetest kisses. You can always tell when she wants a kiss because she'll start smiling and leaning against you. I don't think she would initiate a kiss at first, but they are always welcome. She especially loves forehead kisses or kisses against her hair. Makes her feel like a precious little doll and the blush that comes afterwards is to die for. Kiss the hand that Shar shocks and she'll cry, truly. From anyone else she'd find it almost corny, but she has a soft spot for you hehe.

Also she gets sooo giggly when you kiss attack her, like all over her face, ears, neck. It honestly surprises you the first time it happens, but her laughter is so sweet so you continue to do so (when the moment strikes of course). Whenever she gets more comfortable she might even start initiating kisses by coming up to you and puckering her lips wordlessly. ACK she's so fucking cute I can't.

*trembling* b big daddy halsin... He loves loves loves kisses!! Anytime any place bitch. I don't know why but the voices tell me he likes his ears, and the part of his jaw just below his earlobe, being kissed. He's a big ol boy so it's not often someone can even reach that part of him so it's like extra special.

Definitely the most passionate kisser behind Wyll, but they're nearly neck and neck when it comes to romance. It's something about being wrapped up in his fuckin tree trunk arms that makes you melt into a squishy puddle every time. You're like clay in his hands, and you feel it even more so when he massages you lol. Always leaves kisses (maybe more) on your shoulders and spine when he does. He could get you to do almost anything if he offered you a kiss after. Oh and he also loves when you kiss his nose while he's in his wildshape. Plus who doesn't wanna smooch a real life teddy bear?

❊ Karlach:

The first time you FINALLY get to kiss her, she's honestly terrified and so excited she could totally puke. She just squeezes her eyes shut, bends down a little, and lets you peck her on the lips. The gasp she lets out is so fucking cute!! And she almost immediately scoops you up in a bone-crushing hug and smooshes your lips together. It's not the most elegant or gentle kiss in the world but it's full of passion and love and it makes her so giddy she's shaking. Thank the fucking gods her heart is better because even if you would have been able to touch her at first, her chest would most likely explode from nerves.

Definitely the most needy companion when it comes to kisses, like she needs them constantly. Waking up? Kisses. Going to sleep? Kisses. Before and after a battle? Leaving to pee? Eating dinner? @surely-sims : I was in two minds about whether to include Anne in Poses or BB (or CAS!), because she is THAT talented that she does all. But her BB is so fun and unique and I'm obsessed with the vintage-style promo pics she makes for it, too. I'm also obsessed with Shromp on a cellular level... I'm in a cult of my own making tbh. Oh! And Anne has also started streaming CC tutorials on Twitch which are excellent!

@lumenniveus : I only discovered him fairly recently (because I heard there may be more Shromp content) but I am OBSESSED. OBSESSED. In fact I'm going to specifically shout-out the Runestone and Herbal Cottage Set because I'm using them so much right now and they've instantly become a must-have for my Mods folder.

And a special mention to @simdertalia : although she has recently had to start making a few sets early access, she was creating huge amounts of CC entirely for free before then and has always been so kind and generous. after a few drags, you tossed it to the floor, before stubbing it out it with the bottom of your heel. you were too anxious to really care about littering.

stepping out of the cubicle, you let the door swing, taking in your appearance in the mirror set in front of you.

bringing a digit to your lips, you noticed the rosy stain had left them. looking for a gloss or lipstick, you fumbled between the discarded cash, pens, and papers of your purse. finally finding the first gloss you could, you twisted the cap open and applied a crimson layer to your parted pillows. fixing any smudges swiftly, and spritzing a light prolific coat of perfume.

taking one last glance, you smoothed down your outfit and slung your purse on your shoulder.

clutching a paper copy of your resumé, along with your portfolio, you entered the room. your gaze immediately laying upon him.

“please, take a seat.”

stepping out from your make-shift office, you were in a trance; watching, listening from behind the scenes.

midway through the band’s performance, instead of his view set on the thousands of crazed fangirls, he found it lingering on your figure, standing in the stage’s entryway.

your hips swaying side to side in sync with the rhythm, your hair wild, the clipboard clutched in your hand.

catching a glimpse of his stare, your lips parted subconsciously, before forming into a smirk.

his face glistened with the light layer of sweat painted across it, parted lips just mere centimetres away from connecting. “not so professional now, hm?” he mumbled breathlessly, a slight sense of smugness intertwined between his words.

you wanted to reply, but failed to. you were drowning in lust. the hand once wrapped around your figure, found its way travelling to your face, before tilting your chin upward. “you looked s’pretty, dancing like that,”

“shut up,” you closed the gap between you, pressing your soft lips on his.

the kiss was hasty, reflecting how much of a long time coming this had been. so dangerously, obsessively, wonderfully heated.

when he reluctantly allowed for you to come up for air, you rested your forehead against his, a slight blush tinting your plush cheeks. “wanted this for so long, so long”

my notes/thoughts on hazbin hotel episode four! spoilers ahead

i have sooooo many words for this episode

here are some unorganized thoughts

loser baby was the most perfectest adorable beautiful thing ever (also as a person who is positively nihilistic, it’s very relatable)

im hopping on the huskerdust train, 100% on board

also the dressing room scene had me GAGGED. blake roman is so talented. i was shocked. i was BLOWN AWAY. the cracks in his voice, the SADNESS, the hopelessness, i can HEAR the tears and i can HEAR the fear, i can FEEL the pain. blake, i never doubted you and i never fucking will. your performance was incredible.

oh also joel perez popped tf off. i hate val with a burning passion and his voice is so perfect and manipulative and i just wanted to punt him 🤠 joel is so good at bringing valentino’s pure cruelty to life, i was SO uncomfortable and emotional watching that scene. huge props

but seriously blake had me SHOOK. the way he delivered so many of the lines—the emotional ones, the frantic ones, the funny ones. all perfect. i would point them all out but we would be here all day. (but i HAAAAAVE TO SAY THAT THE WAY HE DELIVERED “do you know what i’m worth?!” OR WHATEVER THE LINE WAS GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS. OH MY GOD.)

the poison sequence had me flinching and gagging and almost crying

and once again. husk and angel were peak in this episode, i’m obsessed with them in the last quarter of the episode. way more wholesome and perfect than i could have ever imagined — two addict losers who sold their souls to psychotic overlords, but they’re in it together! i love that SO much.

also keith’s vocals in loser baby had me WEAK i love his voice so fucking much

i also love how charlie got some development in this episode!! i NEED to see her in demon mode again, i was blown away.

something sooooo 😵‍💫 about the fact that tony's relationship at meadow is at its worst when she calls out tony's life in the mafia as being a source of pain and death for those around him. AND YET he ultimately finds meadow a disappointment , because when she was on the cusp of being out - moving to california, having a normal guy fiancé, going to med school - she recanted. moved back home, got a new fiancé who's tied up in the mafia, and is now on her way to becoming a mob lawyer.

aj is a disappointment because he has to be kept out for his own safety; he would not survive in the mafia, and indeed just being tangentially linked to it has led him to suicidal despair. tony will do his familial duty and protect him, but it is embarrassing that he is incapable of producing a satisfactory male heir. christopher is a disappointment because he is not tony's son (so he does not have to obsess over possibly having passed along his mental illness to him and he doesn't have to contend with the guilt of brought his own child into the mob); he was his hand-picked heir and groomed for the life by tony, and yet he ultimately resents tony for this and his struggles with addiction make him unable to be successful in a world that requires vice to keep things running. they are no julius and octavian; tony failed at training a successor to his empire.

but meadow is his only daughter, which makes her part vanity project (he pushes her toward pediatrics because he likes the idea of having a daughter who helps sick children, just as he loves to give generously to schools and churches and hospitals and to be the benevolent benefactor) and part wish fulfillment (this is who he could have been if he didn't have to drop out of college, if his family'd had money, if he hadn't devoted his life to the mafia). obviously, she is meant to be a source of easy, unconditional love (and if she adores him and hates her mother, well. she is daddy's little girl.), which is why it grates him so much when she scolds him or questions his ethics. but ultimately none of her intended purposes are fulfilled if she chooses to tie herself up even more in the mob. that's why for all he yells at her for being ungrateful for his blood money, he can't stop bringing up what a waste her education was now that she wants to do criminal law and protect her family from the fbi.

I love Prey so much. It’s such a fun and wild story and I’m really looking forward to how things develop now that we’re really getting into the naruto/hinata interactions. But Butterfly has the angst and comfort that I am addicted to so it has my whole heart. Absolutely adore both of the stories though and I’m glad they seem to be the current priority projects.

And that is EXACTLY why I can't pick one or the other🙈they both have different parts of my heart! Prey is absolutely fun and wild! Like Prey!Naruto is delicious and deranged in the best way, and I love being inside his crazy head, but Hinata's POV is hilarious by itself because she has NO idea what this crazy man is thinking and doing, and the contrast between what both of them experience is just sooo good 😂

But then Butterfly just pulls on the heart strings🥺I'm constantly ping ponging between wanting to strangle Naruto for being so selfish and unaware of his cruelty, but then wanna hug and kiss him for being Hinata's lifeline and comfort even though, again, he's so unaware of his power in her life. The feels are so deep and conflicting, the drama a constant looming threat around them, like omg, Butterfly hits so many buttons for me!🦋

I just love them both sooooo much!!

It's so crazy because Monster was supposed to be the top priority this year 🤭but Prey had me in a headlock, talkin bout "nuh uh, get yo ass over here!"😈 and Butterfly's tugging ever so softly on my fingers asking "but what about me?" 🥺 and like Prey won't let me say no and Butterfly, I don't have the heart to say no 🙈

Red River (28 volumes)

😍😍😍 !!!!!!!! *gestures dramatically at the screen* I just!!! I cannot scream this enough!!!! This forgotten gem stole my heart in 2020 and I cannot get over it. In a word, this series is: passionate. Exquisite. UNDERRATED. 😭😭😭 It's a historical isekai romance that is full of political intrigue, erotica, brilliant characterization, GORGEOUS art, and great action. This manga is the reason why I wrote 3 out of the 8 non-crossover Red River fics that exist on AO3 lmaooooo. IT'S JUST SOOOOO GOOD!!!! I never finished a series longer than 7 volumes within less than 2 weeks, and completely online, no less! It's a damn shame that it's so hard finding even physical copies of the manga to own, because dammit, I NEED!!!! 😍😍😍🥺🥺🥺 I would straight up CRY from joy if an anime adaptation was ever announced skgjfdfkjgdf (but I doubt it'd ever happen 😭)

MAO (14 volumes and counting!)

I mean, it's only the legendary Rumiko Takahashi's latest work, COME ON. It has Takahashi's usual touch in the art style, themes, and motifs, but is also wonderfully refreshing, with all new memorable characters and low-key one of her BEST main ships of all time. The game's afoot, and there's mysteries to unravel with deeper conspiracies beneath them all, all with a hot immortal doctor and a feisty girl who shares his curse with a cat demon thing (a byoki, to be precise). WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?!

FAKE (7 volumes)

Yes, there's an OVA 2-part special. No, it's not enough. This bitch is thirsty for MORE. 😍😍😍👀👀👀 Yuri on Ice may be the first "yaoi" to steal my heart (I only put quotations because there's no porn lol), but FAKE is the first "official" yaoi to make me SQUEEEE while reading. Yes, this older series is not free from some of the unfortunate trappings of older yaoi series (*cough* noncon issues! *cough cough*), but I think what makes it work is that it's never pushed too far. And honestly, the mysteries surrounding their work as private detectives was so compelling, that it was almost like they never had time for shenanigans.... until after they fell in love 👀👀👀 Or, rather, after Ryo FINALLY accepted that he's gay AF for Dee lmao. Also: points for Dee being an openly bisexual man, who constantly corrects those who call him a homosexual. For the 90's??? That's surprisingly progressive.

Angel Sanctuary (20 volumes)

Yes, there's a 3 episode OVA. But it only "covers" the first 2 volumes out of TWENTY. This series is absolutely gorgeous: the Gothic inspired art, every panel is just dripping in angst, detail, and passion. The incest takes a backseat for the REAL drama, a savage dressing down of the hypocrisy of Christian ideals in a world where even the realm of Heaven is corrupt and full of sin. Dark, angsty, deliciously sinful, and a thoughtfully cynical yet inspiring commentary on what makes us human (even if you're a devil or an angel), it is an absolute CRIME that this series was never made into a full-length anime. If other controversial anime can be made/adapted in this day and age, then why not give this classic, forgotten gem a try, anime studios?! 😤

The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross (11 volumes)

Arina Tanemura's art is simply *chef's kiss* She has such a Shoujo Style that is unparalleled. Two are of her earlier works were made into beloved early 2000's magical girl anime series: Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Full Moon wo Sagashite. So why not THIS?! It is such a deliciously absurd Drama that is addicting and frustrating as hell. It's also just a truly touching tale of how family baggage can be so damaging to people's perceptions on love, relationships, and self-worth. It's a series that's near and dear to my heart, and I'd love to see it animated one day.

Kitchen Princess (10 volumes)

This adorable series is 90% fluff, 10% ANGST, with some of the cutest art styles imaginable. If you're itching for a series about food that doesn't go batshit like Food Wars (I love that show, but I can understand that it can be, er, overwhelming lol), Kitchen Princess invites you in for tea and cake and holds your hand as you eat delicious desserts that warm your soul. It is just a sweet, sweet story, with an abundance of fluff, but enough angst and hurt/comfort to balance out the cutesyness. Definitely a comfort food series that NEEDS AN ADORABLE, WHOLESOME ANIME AND CUTESY SOUNDTRACK, DAMMIT!!!!

Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden (12 volumes)

If the original series can get an anime, then SO CAN THE PREQUEL, DAMMIT!!!! Genbu Kaiden took what is good about Fushigi Yuugi, and made it better. The protagonist is a thousand times more likable and stronger, both physically and emotionally. The dramatic scenes are far more effective and don't rely on Soap Opera BS. And the art has improved! GENBU KAIDEN DESERVES MORE LOVE!!!

Arisa (12 volumes)

Don't let the cutesy art fool you: this is one of the darkest series I ever read that didn't kill off the entire cast. With the right soundtrack and animation studio, this could be a downright chilling show to watch, without resorting to Higurashi levels of terror and violence. I don't Do horror at all, but the psychological thrills and twists of this dark series kept me invested, frightened, alarmed, and entertained until the very end. I would love to see it animated one day.... 👀

Shinobi Life (13 volumes)

THE BODYGUARD ROMANCE BEFORE YONA OF THE DAWN MADE IT COOL!!!! 😍😍😍 Lol, but in all seriousness, this series is SO GOOD!!! Now that I finally own all of the physical copies published in English (which is only half, because this world is cruel 😭😭😭), I cannot WAIT to dive back into this world of time-traveling ninjas and reincarnated princesses and adorkable relationship shenanigans, with an added bonus of backstory ANGST.

Alice in the Country of Joker: Circus and Liar's Game (7 volumes)

Listen. LISTEN. I DEMAND AN ANIME BASED OFF THIS MIND-BOGGLING TRASH, and no, not just that joke of a "movie" that is even somehow even more incoherent than the countless manga spin-offs. Not all of us have the patience or understanding to play the games, pleeeeeease 😭😭😭

Same logic to Fairy Cube: I just want someone to take this mind-fuck of a series, because, in the right studio and director's hands, it'd be soooo amazing!

Otomen (17 volumes)

Honestly, I barely remember much of this adorkable series, other than the very refreshing and honest takes on gender, gender roles, and gender identity and how all are similar and yet separate. It would be nice to see more representation in mainstream anime, even now.

RG Veda (10 volumes)

Once again: a 2-episode OVA does not an anime make. Literally I just love the art and mythologies. And it's one of CLAMP's earliest work, and is low-key their most gorgeous. Imagining this story animated to today's standards would be *chef's kiss* AMAZING!!! 😍

Kilala Princess (5 volumes)

Let me make one thing absolutely clear: this will never happen. Ever. Never ever ever. Not in my lifetime, certainly, as long as copyright laws exist. If Kingdom Hearts is never gonna get an anime/animated show adaptation, then this cutesy manga sure as hell won't.
