Writing ideas can come from the strangest shit guys. I thought "what if our high school principal had a cane?" And then ✨fantasy✨. So now I'm on a track to hell inside my brain thinking of all the shit I could to with this. The betrayal. The angst. The absolute fucker of a slowburn of a romance.

Basically here is some major points

So Main Char. Finds out her ordinary school is hiding something

For background, MC is bullied and isn't liked much in the school

So she finds this out, and discovers this massive power she has

It basically starts off like your typical bullied to hero situation

But she's still bullied

And she gets angry and blasts these bullies away with her power

Now everyone is scared

And you see this shy and nice character turn darker and darker

The last straw before she totally snaps and takes over the school is her friend calls her out on her actions that are getting worse and worse

And mc is like "I did what it took to survive! Aren't you sick of it?"

At the end the argumnet peaks as mc blasts her friend away and internally she is scared that she doesn't care. Shes glad even

This forms sides in the school

There's like this whole war that plays out afterwards. I don't have many more plot points for that one

As for the romance

After the sides split, there is this guy who is just loyal to a fault to mc

Eventually, mc gets stabbed or some shit and the guy who has been hopelessly in love with the mc sees her bleeding out

He stays by mc for the entire time of the recovery

When the mc wakes up, they just know that the guy has been there the whole time

And then busts out a line something like, "I never seemed to fully appreciate how much you stick by me until now. Thank you"

And this bitch doesn't say thank you

So that's like the unofficial begining

They hang out more and then those feelings are just exploding

And then the guy makes a reckless decision on a reconasince mission or something and mc is like, "you could've died! What were you thinking?"

This banter goes on and finally the guy is just "and how do you think I felt when I saw you half dead a couple weeks ago?!"

Silence

Anger and sadness in waves

Mc: "I'm sorry. I just- I just care too much to see you do something that could end with your death being my fault"

And then confusion because he thought that this love feeling was unreciprocated

This whole scene is just angst conversation central

It ends with a kiss (duh, I'm a weak woman ok)

And they are just a fucking power couple

Obviously with hitches in the road

But we get there

Honestly I cannot overstate how much seeing Hayden as TCW Anakin changed EVERYTHING. Matt Lanter's Anakin is a frat dude. He wears a backwards baseball hat and says vaguely offensive things without realizing, while being a fundamentally chill and outgoing guy at heart. Hayden's Anakin is... not that. His voice. His expressions. His physical presence. It's off somehow. It's just left of normal. It's completely unremarkable and yet deeply uncanny for reasons you can't quite describe. TCW Anakin was always a flatter, blander portrayal, but I don't think I realized until now what exactly was missing: the serial killer energy. The inarticulable conviction that SOMETHING unhinged is going on behind those eyes.

#also the difference between TCW anakin's charm and ROTS anakin's charm #tcw: outgoing. does finger guns. nonplussed socially sometimes but still confident. able to be charming #rots: competent. exuberant. frothing with rage. so shy and awkward he fully cant function. insecure. an entire tank yet fragile as glass #charming only because hes both SO COMPETENT and also so categorically unable to purposefully be charming #ITS SO DIFFERENT. Leo being put into a situation where there is absolutely no fighting, just verbal manipulation and perception games, would be amazing to witness. We see a lot in the series how good he is at subterfuge and how he uses his perception to manipulate to great effect, so it’d be so cool to really see it put to the test even more.

Manipulation is one of the most effective tactical strategies of all time, so just imagine Leo putting this skillset of his to the full test. Imagine the boys slowly get up to busting bigger and more powerful criminals, including those with networks of crime under their belt, and a simple fight isn’t enough to take them down. For criminals like this, Leo’s skills in subterfuge would be deadly.
