Hi! My name is Damien and I kinda wanted to tell u abt my experience with Chris :)

So, I’m autistic and commonly have trouble with speech, sensory processing, and eye contact. I’ve met some celebs that get upset with me for this, asking me why I couldn’t make eye contact in a way that made it clear (even to me) they viewed it as a personal attack.

I’ve met celebs who were uncomfortable around me when I showed signs of being nuerodivergent.

Chris Evans was none of those things. When I tell you this man was so fucking nice. I apologized for not making eye contact and he looked at me and said “You shouldn’t ever have to apologize for that, kid.” He complimented my comfort item (a stuffed shark named Tazzy), never made me feel bad when I couldn’t find the right words or stuttered, and when a staff member told me quite rudely to hurry up, Chris looked at him sternly and turned to me and said “You’re alright, kid.”

Literally the sweetest man on Earth. (also yes, he does smell like strawberries and its the best thing ever)

I love Tumblr because nothing matters here truly. There are no influencers. Having followers doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a site where people post their sporadic thoughts and rb pretty pictures. Anyone who thinks any of this matters is woefully missing the point

Embarrassing #I know chronically online people exist bc I have seen them in my or somebody else’s inbox but imagine waking up at 70 one day and the #Realization hitting u like a freight time that u wasted all ur time thinking tumblr. TUMBLR. This dying website. Has enough weight for u to #be sending anon hate or reviewing ppl’s blogs like they’re some kind of product. Things that absolutely fucked my shit up this episode, an incomprehensible list:

- Ellie liked the smell of Frank’s sleeping bag

- Joel still wearing Frank’s shirt

- Joel staying up all night to guard while Ellie slept

- “They’re not gonna hit you. Look at me, they’re not gonna hit you.”

- “Mom! Mom! Mom!”

- The way the doctor gave the lines “I delivered you. I held you in my hands.” and “I’m your doctor” so simply when asked for reasons why he shouldn’t be killed

- Ellie’s smile when Joel tried to tug the gun from her hand

- The way Joel bumbled his way through trying to make sure Ellie was okay, and ask if she wanted to talk about it after she shot Bryan

- All of the superhero drawings on the wall that Sam drew of him and Henry

- The mask that Sam had drawn on his face

Something about how everyone is undeniably human, and how unafraid they are of not shying away from that.

Some of you guys need to start listening to music in a language you don't speak. And I don't mean kpop or jpop I mean like you need to find some obscure shit you don't understand and would never listen to otherwise - find music based on purely if you enjoy the sound and not what the song is about. A lot of people will do this nowadays with foreign cinema (which is also good and important) but people don't even think about foreign music. Find some slovenian pop. Find some spanish metal. Find some danish techno. There's a whole world out there I guarantee there is something for you.

Even better find music in a language you're learning, and just familiarise yourself with how it sounds. It can be hard to find foreign language music but i promise you youll be better off for it. You might even find your new favourite artist. Please just listen to something outside your native language please please please for the love of god expand your horizons

Another thing i absolutely adore about good omens is how high the stakes are. How much danger the arrangement puts them into, how risky it is, for Crowley to be in possession of holy water. How he could be destroyed, just for having entertained the thought of helping an angel. And still. It all seems to be secondary to them, bc the only thing which matters is each other and the way they keep on “accidentally” running into each other.

The arrangements could get them banished, shunned or destroyed? It’s no matter, as long as they can keep meeting in odd places to discuss who will take on the next mission.

Crowley runs the risk of being seen as a traitor? It’s such a small thing, in comparison to how the angel’s eyes shine at the mere mention of crepes.

Crowley asks for holy water, for the power to destroy what Aziraphale holds most dearly? Out of the question, except. Except that it pulls them appart, it makes them say dark, dishonest things. So Aziraphale complies, bc he can’t bear not to. He can’t stand the though of Crowley doing this without him. So he gives in.

It’s all a matter of life and death. Complete and utter annihilation. God’s wrath and the end of all things. And still. All they care about, all which seems to matter, is the way they care for each other. What a wonderful love story you wrote, mr pratchett and mr gaiman.
