Six Makeup: Masterpost and Links
Hey y'all! Finally finished up a long promised post: all of my makeup suggestions for SIX cosplayers (and/or fans who just want to do some cool makeup looks)!!! I've been actively working on this post for about a year now and compiling makeup for even longer, so I'm happy to finally finish it. I'll get into more details in a moment, but first things first:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'll include all the links below, but for easy access I made a handy-dandy Pinterest board. It is sorted by costume (sections for each queen + alt costume) and you can clink on any pin to be taken directly to buy it. I would recommend that people look there for a more visual/easy look at the recommendations; I realize pure text can get a bit old!
Some notes: - All of these links are to US sites, with a variety of US and UK sources. Most of these brands ship internationally and/or are available on Amazon as well. - I tried to factor in a large variety of material colors/shades, skin tones, and financial budget. You'll find a mix of US and UK-based brands, mainstream and smaller brands, drugstore versus more upscale, and some brands owned by women of color. - There's a broad range in the companies listed in terms of their ethics, animal testing, politics, etc. I'm including as many companies as possible to give people as many options as possible, but some of these I wouldn't personally financially support. I would strongly suggest that anyone do their own research into the brands listed. - Many of these products may be harsher on skin than your typical products. I'd suggest considering any potential allergens and skin testing any product before use, and using your regular base (foundation, blush, etc) to minimize the number of new products. (If you have sensitive skin or are worried about toxicity, I'd suggest Skin Deep for toxicity information and the FDA site for information on common irritants) - The vast majority of the makeup on this list is products that I know Six actors use. However, just because someone in Six uses it does not mean it's necessary to achieve a great look - there are many great alternatives for just about any product, and what works for a specific actor may not be what works best for you. (I'd also note that the vast majority of queens use some fairly cheap makeup, so you never need to feel like you have to pay more to get "stage accuracy") - Factor in where you're intending to use your products. Six uses some extreme stage makeup and truly crazy lighting; if you use these products with the exact same intensity in just about any other context, it will be way overkill. Convention lighting tends to be harsh so you can usually go a bit heavier there, particularly if you're intending to do any on-stage performances. But for everyday use or a closet cosplay to go see Six or an outdoor meet-up with natural light you will usually want to go much softer. (Photoshoots are a whole other can of worms and really depend on specifics) - Some of this information is taken from a series of Instagram stories Erin Ramirez did. I'm still writing up a post of everything she suggested, but I'll link it here when finished. - And, finally, have fun experimenting and finding what works for you!

Hello! I love your blog and would like to ask for your advice. I want to look like an elegant, expensive woman. However, I am having a hard time applying makeup and setting up a skin care routine. Do you have an tips or resources on how to wear makeup elegantly and care for one's skin (for those new to makeup and skin care)?
What are the basic products needed for a dewy, classy make up look? Do you have any tutorials?
What are the basic products needed for healthy, minimal skin care routine?
Thank you for reading this ask! Have a great day!
Hi love! Sharing some of my tips below:
Skin:
Always use a disposable cloth when washing your face: Regular towels store bacteria and can cause breakouts too easily. These facial wipes from Amazon are my holy grail.
Wear sunscreen daily: Yes, even when you spend all day indoors. UV rays can interact with your skin through windows, too.
Niacinamide, Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid, & Tea Tree Oil are among the few skincare ingredients almost everyone should consider incorporating into their skincare routine.
Learn the correct order to apply the products in your skincare routine: Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Eye Cream, Spot Treatment, Moisturizer, Sunscreen (or Retinol/Skin Oil at night).
Remember: From a dermatologist's perspective, your face starts (or ends) at your nipples. So, ensure you're cleansing, exfoliating, and applying sunscreen daily to your neck, chest, and décolletage to keep your skin smooth, youthful, and well-hydrated.
Vaseline is a great (affordable) alternative to traditional eye creams.
Sugar scrub your facial hair for a more gentle alternative to waxing (Combine sugar, lemon, and water). Laser hair removal, especially under your arms and your arms/legs is life-changing.
Follow up a warm shower with a dry brush and coconut oil for smoother, firmer skin.
Always apply a hydrating lip balm, mask, or Vaseline, hand cream, and moisturizer to your feet before going to sleep.
Layer complementary scents. Ensure the scents of body wash, lotion, and perfume work well together and don't clash.
Makeup:
Learn your skin undertones and educate yourself on color theory (I can create a short ebook/PDF if you want some more educational content on these types of topics – I write about them for a living!).
Test any foundation, concealer, or face powder on your wrists, too.
Don't forget to color-match your bronze and blush: They can appear orange or muddy if you don't find a product with the correct shade or undertones for your skin type.
Invest in products that go on your face, brow products, and eyeliners. Great mascaras and lip products are easy to find at a drugstore or relatively cheap (I suggest Covergirl and NYX, respectively).
Apply concealer in a triangle; don't dot it around your eyes for better coverage.
If you have oily skin (or it's humid outside), apply powder before your liquid/cream products. Set them again with a light powder to lock the color in.
Apply mascara from tip to base for the best lashes of your life: One coat on the tip, another from middle to tip, and the last coat from base to tip.
In a pinch, use a fragrance-free moisturizer and a Q-tip to remove excess makeup (no more raccoon eyes).
Use a light nude or white eyeshadow underneath your brow to make them appear more defined.
Apply face powder under your eyes to help the eyeliner on your waterline last longer.
Create a simple daily makeup routine formula: 1 skin coverage (foundation/concealer), 1 skin color (a favorite blush or bronzer), brows, mascara, an eye-definer (eyeliner or shadow), and a signature "your lips but better" lip shade (1-2 shades deeper or lighter than your natural lip color): This formula provides you the basics, so you never have an excuse not to put yourself together for the day (5-10 minute routine here).
Discover your day-to-night hero product: Always keep a slightly deeper lipstick, a smoky eyeshadow, or liquid liner in your bag to transition your day look into the evening with one portable product.
Hope this helps xx

New primer time!!!!!! Got this recently from Walmart, not sure how much it was but it was definitely average drugstore makeup price
Did test spotting for my hand and face, neither got irritated which is really good cuz my skin is sensitive as hell! Using it now on full face, so gonna tell you how it works
Tumblr media
I really like that its fully clear and doesn't have shine to it, which is good for a basic everyday look, it's not necessarily matte either? which is nice because you can do a lot with it. Please note I'm putting some moisturizer on under it too so that might change the outcome for you

Eyebrow Tinting Toowoomba
Eyebrow Tinting is a beauty service that allows clients to enhance and define their natural brows for a bolder or thicker brow. The tint is semi-permanent and works by clinging to the hairs, coloring them, and leaving a subtle stain on the skin beneath them. Eyebrow tinting is an inexpensive and quick way to achieve a fuller, more defined look. The process is also relatively painless and does not require tweezing or plucking, which can lead to inconsistencies and asymmetry in your eyebrow shape.
In most cases, the procedure is performed with a professional salon grade product that has been custom blended to match your specific needs and color goal. When getting your brows tinted, it is best to go with an experienced technician to ensure the best results.
The brow-tinting process will start with your brow artist chatting with you to determine what you are hoping for (like significantly darker or more defined brows), so they can tailor the dye to match your specific goals and skin coloring. Then, they will clean your brows to make sure they are free of makeup or other products, and then begin the process. After applying the tint, they will let it sit for a few minutes to allow it to develop and become more saturated. Once the tint is set, they will remove it and clean your brows again.
Once your brows are tinted, they will naturally fade over time. The rate of fading depends on your hair type, your use of beauty products around the eyebrows, and how well you take care of them. Typically, a brow tint lasts about 4-6 weeks.
While you can find brow-tinting kits at most drugstores, it’s always best to have your eyebrows tinted professionally to avoid irritation and other possible side effects. It’s also important to only use a high-quality product that has been carefully tested for safety and quality.
The eyebrow-tinting process is very safe for most people, but it’s always best to follow your brow artist’s instructions closely to minimize the chances of an allergic reaction. This is especially true if you have sensitive skin, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Whether you have thin or full eyebrows, the right tint can help you achieve a bolder, more defined look, and will save you time in the morning when you’re rushing to get out the door. The experts at Eyebrow Tinting Toowoomba are here to help you perfect your brows, so book an appointment online!

Say No to More Excuses for Improper Skin Care!
Tumblr media
Skin is the most important for everyone, so we need to get the best consultation from the best skin doctor you may search out: Skin Hospital In Karur | Laser Skin Hospital In Karur | Best Laser Skin Centre In Karur | Best Skin and Laser Centre In Karur | Skin Doctor In Karur | Best Skin Doctor In Karur | Cosmetology Specialist In Karur | Best Cosmetology Hospital In Karur.
It’s essential to take care of your skin; it’s not only a luxury.Yet, many people make excuses for neglecting proper skincare. It’s time to put an end to those excuses and prioritize the health and beauty of your skin. Here are some common excuses and the solutions to overcome them:
“I don’t have time for a skincare routine”: A skincare routine doesn’t have to take a lot of time.Start with the basics: cleanse, moisturize, and protect with sunscreen. Simplify your routine by choosing multitasking products or finding a few key products that work for your skin type. Remember, even a few minutes dedicated to skincare each day can make a significant difference in the long run.
“Skincare products are too expensive”: Good skincare doesn’t always have to be prohibitively expensive. There are affordable options available that offer great results. Look for drugstore brands or products with key ingredients like hyaluronic acid, retinol, or antioxidants. Investing in skincare is an investment in your skin’s long-term health, so prioritize wisely.
“My skin is fine; I don’t need skincare”: Even if your skin looks fine now, skincare is about prevention and maintenance. It’s easier to maintain healthy skin than to repair damage later. Regular cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection can help prevent premature aging, maintain hydration, and protect against environmental stressors.
“I have sensitive skin, so I can’t use skincare products”: Having sensitive skin doesn’t mean you can’t have a skincare routine. Look for gentle, fragrance-free products specifically formulated for sensitive skin. Patch test new products and introduce them gradually to see how your skin reacts. Consulting a dermatologist can help you find the right products and routine for your sensitive skin.
“I’ll start taking care of my skin when I have a skin concern”: Prevention is key when it comes to skincare. Taking care of your skin daily can help prevent common skin concerns such as acne, dryness, or sun damage. Don’t wait for problems to arise before giving your skin the attention it deserves.
“I’ll rely on makeup to cover up any skin issues”: While makeup can enhance your appearance, it’s not a substitute for skin care.Making up is simpler and more efficient when applied to a healthy canvas. By prioritizing skincare, you can achieve a natural glow that reduces the need for heavy makeup.
“I don’t know where to start”: With a vast array of skincare products available, it can be overwhelming to know where to begin. Learn about your skin concerns and type to start. Research and seek guidance from skincare professionals or dermatologists who can recommend suitable products and routines tailored to your specific needs.
Don’t let excuses hinder your path to healthy skin. Make a commitment to prioritize skincare by setting aside time, investing in affordable options, and understanding the importance of prevention. Remember, proper skin care is an investment in yourself and contributes to your overall well-being. Say no to excuses and yes to a consistent skincare routine that will benefit your skin for years to come.
Finally, our conclusion is we all need the best guidance for baby care and skin care. For that reason, you may search out: best pediatrician in karur | newborn baby specialist in karur | best vaccination centre in karur.

It's Magic Vs Miracle!
Hi guys,
I always get a kick out of seeing brands try and create dupes of other products and there has been one particular dupe has been pointed out to me so many times I had to look into it.
So if you've been reading my blog for a while now you would know I live for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream £52.00. It has been a game changer in my skincare routine for the past 3-4 years now and it has really helped with my oily combo skin. Charlotte Tilbury is known for the 'Magic' skincare products and our friends Revolution Pro decided to bring out a skincare collection called 'Miracle'.
Like CT , Revolution Pro have Miracle eye serums, moisturisers and other skincare products similarly to CT in their range but obviously it is a more affordable drugstore option. I decided to pick up the Miracle Cream £10.00 because that's a product I could test the best since I am obsessed with Magic Cream. Let's chat details, this moisturiser is full of vitamins and  hydrates skin from the first use and re-energizes your base for smoother, plumper and younger-looking skin. It is suitable for all skin types and is a lightweight and hydrating formula absorbs perfectly into the skin, leaving you with a smooth and nourished canvas for flawless makeup application.
Now if we are comparing both creams I would say CT has a much thicker formulas than Revolution Pro however both creams have a great range of vitamins in their ingredients to make your skin feel insanely softer and more hydrated. I would say the Revolution Pro cream is quicker in terms of absorbing into the skin but the CT feels richer when applying. Personally I'm surprised that the cream don't actually feel that different once applied onto the skin, using both products my face felt really soft, hydrated and gave me a gorgeous luminous finish.
The verdict is I personally would recommend checking out the Miracle Cream if you want something similar to Magic Cream but more budget friendly. It leaves my skin feeling really soft and hydrated and at the end of the day that's why I would use a moisturiser anyway regardless of the brand. So overall we have found a new affordable option which is perfect timing since the price of the CT Magic Cream has gone up again! All products linked above as always!
Lots of love

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Moisturizer
Tumblr media
Brand: The Ordinary
Product Type: Moisturizer
Price: 6.50 / 13.50 USD
Size: 1 / 3.3 fl. oz.
✔️Vegan ✔️Clean Ingredients ✔️Cruelty Free ✔️Sustainable Packaging
Star Ingredients:
Amino Acids, Phospholipids, Ceramide Precursors: Improve skin barrier.
Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates.
Texture: Thin cream
Feel: Lightly moisturized
This is a lightweight moisturizer that absorbs fairly quick and doesn’t leave you with any sticky residue.
Scent: 🌸
Hardly anything.
Results: After I moved to New Mexico, I really struggled with dry skin. I had really only used drugstore products up to that point because it was either that or pay an exorbitant amount to use products from department store brands. I couldn’t afford that, but the drugstore brands just weren’t helping. My skin was dry and stripped, and I didn’t know what to do.
That’s when a friend introduced me to The Ordinary. I’d have to order it online, they said, but at least it was in my budget and wasn’t filled with all that bad crap that was in the drugstore skincare products I was using. I ordered a very simple skincare routine to try them out.
This is a gentle, effective moisturizer. Within a month of use, my skin’s appearance had improved greatly. I wasn’t dry or flaky anymore, and my skin redness had decreased. One of the nice things about this moisturizer is its flexibility though. It can be paired with other products to boost its effectiveness or provide added benefits. For example, I added a few drops of The Ordinary EUK 134 0.1% Antioxidant Serum each time I used it. You could also pair this with a Vitamin C serum or powder - The Ordinary sells options for both - or a Niacinamide powder. Or you could add a few drops of your favorite face oil. It’s a customizable product.
At the time though, when I was considering whether or not to purchase more, I heard some pretty disturbing things about Deciem’s CEO at the time, Brandon Trauxe. That he had made racist and fatphobic remarks. That his behavior was erratic. I decided to try and find other brands.
Years later, we now know that Brandon Trauxe had some sort of drug problem that was causing his incredibly erratic behavior. After his death, former co-CEO Nicola Kilner returned to the company and has done some wonderful work saving both the parent company, Deciem, and their most popular line, The Ordinary. While Trauxe’s death at such a young age is tragic, it’s heartening to know that Kilner has the company in good hands. I, personally, am no longer opposed to buying from them, but I’ve included some resources so you can make your own decision.
Comps: If you want a gentle moisturizer that’s dermatologist certified, Honest Beauty The Daily Calm Lightweight Moisturizer is a great option. It’s more expensive, but you get the certainty of knowing it’s been tested by a dermatologist to help reduce skin sensitivity and redness.
However, if you don’t want to spend that much, Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Barrier line has both a face lotion and face cream that are also dermatologist certified for gentleness. They also make Coconut Probiotic Water Rehab Cream, which has many of the same ingredients as NMF + HA Moisturizer, but it should be noted that it’s not derm-tested and has fragrance.
Another good, flexible moisturizer is Good Molecules Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer. This can double as a makeup primer and is gentle enough for daily use. It is also a formula that can be ‘upgraded’ with other actives. For example, Good Molecules Vitamin C Booster Powder can be added for additional antioxidant and brightening effects.
The INKEY List Omega Water Cream Moisturizer is also going to be fairly gentle, although not derm-tested. It focuses on barrier repair through ceramides and niacinamide. As a gel moisturizer, it doesn’t really lend itself to combining with other products.

Concealer is an essential part of creating a flawless look. Choose a concealer that matches your skin tone and is one shade lighter than your foundation. Apply it to any areas that need extra coverage, such as dark circles, blemishes, or redness. Blend it well so that it looks natural.
Set Your Makeup
Once you’ve applied your foundation and concealer, it’s important to set your makeup. Use a setting powder to help keep your makeup in place and prevent it from sliding off. This will also help to give your skin a smooth, matte finish.
Add Color
Now it’s time to add some color to your look. Choose a blush that complements your skin tone and apply it to the apples of your cheeks. For eyes, use a neutral eyeshadow palette and blend the colors together. Finish off with a few coats of mascara and you’re good to go.
Finish with a Lip Color
The last step is to finish off your look with a lip color. Choose a lipstick or lip gloss that complements your skin tone and apply it to your lips. This will help to give your look a polished finish.
Creating a flawless look with affordable makeup doesn’t have to be difficult. With the right products and techniques, you can achieve a beautiful look without breaking the bank. Follow these tips and you’ll be on your way to creating a flawless look with affordable makeup.

Ulta Haul & Review - March '23
Tumblr media
Slight reup! [+tt included]
Author's Note:
Hi babes, this haul actually happened in February [and was supposed to be released then] but ya know how shit gets. I still wanted to share this though, especially now! Since I've had time to actually try the products out.
I've updated the blog to have my reviews ;)
.
.
.
Ya girl has been itching for new makeup and luckily, I was blessed with an Ulta gift card 🫶🏽 So y’all already know, I raaaan to Ulta! I bought majority drugstore products & one high-end item.
I watched a few YouTube vids and TikTok’s to get me up to date with what’s new since I don’t really keep up with makeup news like that anymore. And, honestly? I’m super happy with my purchases + can’t wait to try them out.
Here’s what I bought,
HIGHEND:
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer — Soooo excited to try this! This is my second (I’m pretty sure) NARS product and it’s honestly been a cult favorite since I got into makeup in 2015/16. Type embarrassed it took me so long to try 🫣
The Verdict: Don't fight me cause I know y'all like to tussle but honestly.. this ain't all that..? Like it’s def creamy and thick but I don't understand the hype over it..? It's a regular concealer. I'd pass and save the $$. It does what any regular concealer will do. 5/10
DRUGSTORE:
Elf Holy Hydration Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm — I use the Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm but this one peaked my interest so I decided to give it a try.
The Verdict: Does what it states but that's it. It's nothing special. I won't be repurchasing and will be going back to Versed. 5/10
L’Oréal Infallible 24hr Fresh Wear Foundation — I really want to perfect my base make up this year and wanted something medium-to-high coverage & all the reviews were raving about this one so I’ll let y’all know!
The Verdict: AMAZING! It's medium to FULL coverage, doesn't dry immediately, doesn't feel heavy on the skin either but covers everythingg! It def lives up to the hype and has become my go-to foundation. 10/10
Elf Power Grip Primer — Been meaning to try this primer for a minute now! I heard it’s a dupe for the Milk Hydrogrip Primer and I can’t wait to test it out.
The Verdict: Another 10 outta 10. Lives up to the hype and really grasps onto your base, helping it last!
LA Pro Girl Concealer — My old reliable. I’ll never stop using this concealer. Ever. I love using this as my “foundation” too.
The Verdict: A cult classic. I'll always recommend. 10/10
Juvia’s Place Blush Duo in Volume 4 — Another dupe 🫣 This time apparently for the viral pink Dior blush! I def want to get the Dior one but I want to save up and do a big high-end haul. Plus, I’ve heard amazing things about Juvia’s Place so why not give them a try? The lighter pink seems pretty similar to the Dior blush and even if it’s not exact, it’s still pretty af! The deeper shade is pretty as well, I’ll probably leave it for Fall time though..
The Verdict: Such a beautiful blush. Super pigmented and lasts long. Alsooo, lives up to the hype. 10/10
NYX Butter Glosses — In shades: Fortune Cookie, Crème Brûlée - I love these glosses! Affordable but amazing quality! Not sticky & super pigmented.
The Verdict: I already knew I loved the formula so I picked up some new shades I didn't have. Perfects shades to make the prettiest nude lip. 10/10
Milani Gilded Eyeshadow Palette in shade: Whiskey Business — Okay, so this is another dupe.. alleged “dupe” because I’m not 100% sure. BUT, I thinkkkk it’s similar [enough] to the Artist Couture Mini Supreme Nudes Matte Eyeshadow Palette! I wanna splurge on it but $30 for a MINI palette with 8 shadows? Mmm.. Chile.. Anyway;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As y’all can see, the shades are pretty similar! I think I’ll def be able to achieve the looks I’m going for if the pigment pay off is good!
The Verdict: I wanted to love this. I wanted this to be amazing. It.. was not. The color story is perfect but the shadows lack soo much pigment. I really had to pack the shadow on and even then, it didn't make much of a difference. That being said, it's not WOC friendly. Ugh, ode wack. On top of the poor pigmentation, the shadows were chalky + had a lot of fallout.
While the price point is great, the product itself could be better. I think this could work with someone with very, very fair skin but if you got any type of color to you, pass on this. 3/10
.
.
.
Until next time,
I hope y’all enjoyed this latest post! Let me know your latest pickups, current faves, and your opinions on the products I picked up! Did they work for you or na?
