Hi guys,
I don't know if it's because I've been really ill lately or my hair just needs some extra loving this month but something needed changing in my routine. I go through phases where my hair is just a little flat and gets greasy really easily so I decided to look online and after lot's of friends recommendations I think I finally found my answer. Today we are chatting about the iconic OLAPLEX N°4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo 250ml, £28.00.
Now I already know there is going to be a big group of I told you so people out there and trust me I know I'm late to the game on this but we finally made it. Anytime you see people blog about hair products a lot of the time they will mention OLAPLEX because it is a viral hair company that a lot of stylists will recommend for people with damaged hair. I didn't necessarily need the bond strengthening range because my issue was more about build up. Instead of the original range I decided to use their Clarifying Shampoo.
If you don't know the difference, unlike other shampoos a clarifying formula focuses on removing any oil, dirt or build up from your hair and then afterwards you would deep condition your hair as this can be drying. A clarifying shampoo is recommended once a week and originally I thought this product was a lot of hype but I was pleasantly surprised! Using this shampoo made me realise how clean and fresh your hair should feel after you wash it. My hair felt so salon fresh like I just paid a lot of money for a wash and blow dry and yet I did it all myself. I've been using this shampoo for over a month once a week and I do see a major difference in how soft my hair is and how long I can go between washes before it gets greasy.
So moral of the story if you need to refresh your hair routine and you have a friend who literally works in a salon ask her what she uses and try it out! As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
I'm sure you all remember that a few blog posts ago, Charlotte Tilbury brought out a brand new collection of pink and red shades in her new Hollywood Beauty Icon collection. We all know I adore a pink lipstick over red any day and slowly I've been building up my collection so today I'm adding two new shades to my collection!
If you didn't know this collection consists of 5 very different pink tones in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula which is the more glossy, satin finish formula. Previously I got the shades Icon Baby which is the most nude toned everyday shade in the collection and Red Carpet Pink which is the second brightest pink in the collection after Candy Chic ( which I still need to add to my collection). The two shades I picked up this time are the more deeper toned pink shades because I don't have anything like them in my collection.
The first new shade I picked up is 90's Pink, this shade is described as a dreamy 90's-inspired warm rose pink (top swatch on image). The second new shade I got is Rose To Fame, this shade is the darkest in the collection and is described as a soft mauve rose lipstick. I would say this lipstick looks like it has a purple under tone when you see it on the lips (bottom swatch on image).
I love this new shades in my collection because they add more depth to my makeup look without needing to be a dark red lipstick. If you are a fan of pink lipsticks I think you'll appreciate the range of pinks on this collection. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
Since I'm such a big Charlotte Tilbury fan, I get asked a lot how I afford her products. Sometimes I buy products when there are promotions and other times when I'm not sure about a shade or a new product I'll choose to by a travel size version. Choosing to buy travel sized products is a great way to save money and test products without breaking the bank.
I have been a fan of the Hollywood Flawless Filter for a while now and previously I bought shade 1 which was lovely on my face but recently I had a look at the shade range and thought I found a better shade match. So instead of buying a full sized version for £39.00 I bought the Mini Hollywood Flawless Filter for £15 in shade 2 Fair. In case you were wondering shade 2 is described as a peachy beige shade for light skin tones and shade 1 is described a neutral beige shade for fair skin tones. Though 2 is more for light tones and 1 is fair I personally prefer shade 2.
In case you didn't know the Hollywood Flawless Filter is a glow booster to use under your makeup as a primer, mixed with foundations to create a glow or lastly used as a liquid highlighter on top of your makeup. If you're looking to get a Tilbury product for your collection this product is by far their most multi-purpose use. I personally love using this under my matte foundations to control the amount the glow on my skin. It's such a easy formula to blend and use how you like. Charlotte is iconic for creating her glow and it's no wonder people try to dupe this product. I have tried dupes in the past but their fairest shade never look right on me like the OG.
So moral of the story if you want to try luxury brand products without the crazy prices, shop their travel / mini section because you can save a lot of money! As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
So we all know that liquid blushes have been going viral thanks to Rare Beauty and we've all been looking for affordable dupes ever since. So today i thought I'd share one of my favourite affordable liquid blushes (which I'm sure you've all seen over Tik Tok by now) , the SHEGLAM Colour Bloom Liquid Blush Matte Gel Cream Blush , £4.49. I first saw these blushes on Tik Tok and straight away you could see from the tutorials how pigmented the blushes are so I decided to get a few. Over the past year (probably) I've been using these blushes and loving the high pigment formula so I figured it's about time we chat about them!
Like all the viral blushes, the SHEGLAM version still has the cushion applicator we all know and love at this point. When I apply these blushes I use the 2 dot application and then blend it with a brush, I tried a sponge once and the product went a little patchy so I avoid that now. I really like that with a product like this you can start out with a hint of colour and then build up pigment the more you need it. Though I like lot's of the shades my favourite has to be the Rose Ritual which is gorgeous rosy toned pink.
These blushes are super affordable, with a great colour range so if you're looking to build your collection at an affordable price these blushes are £4.49 each! As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
Hope you're all doing good! Today I am back with a brand new product from Kylie Cosmetics! If you didn't know Kylie Cosmetics recently brought out a Power Plush collection which consists of her new formula concealer and her first ever foundation! A few years ago Kylie had a concealer but it wasn't available in the U.K so this is the first time we get to shop her concealer. She has been teasing her foundation formula for over a year now and it's finally available at Selfridges and Boots in the U.K as well as her website. So today we are chatting about the brand new Power Plush Longwear Foundation, £29.00.
At the moment from the collection I only have the foundation because my concealer shade has been out of stock everywhere but luckily I found it online so I'm waiting for it to arrive. The Power Plush Foundation comes in her iconic baby pink packaging with a frosted glass bottle. Personally I like that the packaging looks classy and simple because sometimes the funky packaging puts me off. This foundation collection has over 40 shades to choose from so I used her shade matching tool and I was matched with 2C. Shade 2C is described as a fair with cool, subtle peachy undertones shade and personally I think it's the perfect match for me when you see me wearing it above.
Now let's chat about what this foundation claims to do. This foundation is a hydrating, instantly smoothing foundation with medium, buildable coverage and up to 12 hours of comfortable wear. It also blends into the skin to blur fine lines, pores, and texture and leaves a soft, cushiony feel with an airbrushed, satin finish that’s not too dewy and not too matte. At the moment this is my ideal combo of foundation formula because I usually wear a matte formula because it's more long wearing than a glowy finish but one gives me the perfect balance.
Now I know some people love to love/ hate Kylie Cosmetics but I honestly think if you try this foundation you'll be surprised. Besides her setting powder I would say this product is my personal fav from her cosmetics collection. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
This blog post is a typical example of me being late to the party, but I finally tried The INKEY LIst!!! I know I am beyond late and everyone has recommended that I try this brand for a while now but I can honestly say I now understand the hype. If you didn't know INKEY List has been a viral skincare brand for a while now and I am always seeing their cleanser go viral on TikTik so I decided to finally try out some products. I picked up the Skin prep gift set which gives you 3 full sized products to help prep your skin for the day makeup, but you can also use 2 of the products in your night routine as well as day.
So let's chat about the products I got in this set. The first product is The INKEY List Caffeine Eye Cream, 15ml, £10.00. I love trying a new eye cream because my under eye bags look like they have their luggage and need help. This cream is amazing at brightening and de-puffing your eyes, you can honestly see such a difference after you apply it. For such an affordable price I was so surprised how much of a impact it had to my under eye area. I use this eye cream every morning before makeup and evening after my skincare routine and using it twice a day has really made an improvement for me.
The next product I got was The INKEY List Polyglutamic Acid Serum, 30ml , £15.00. This serum is recommended to wear before makeup to help improve your facebase so your makeup looks even better on the skin. The serum is made of polyglutamic acid which can hold 4x more moisture than Hyaluronic Acid, locking in moisture and helping the skin appear instantly smoother. The formula also helps to make the skin look brighter and even complexion too. I adore wearing this serum because it makes such a difference and you really can see a blurring effect it has on the skin.
Lastly I got the viral INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm, 150ml, £12.00. This is product you can use in your AM and PM skincare routine and essentially melts makeup off your face or any dirt if you are makeup prepping. Not only does it melt your makeup off it deeply nourishes and hydrates your skin without stripping or drying it out. I love how fresh and glowy my skin looks after every use and it's such a easy step to give your skin a real deep clean.
Overall I really like the brand and I'm excited to try out more products in the future. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
We all know I have been a collector of Charlotte Tilbury makeup and though I adore her entire collection, my favourite products are usually the ones that are limited edition. You can imagine how crazy this makes me especially when I don’t buy 2 of the item before it sells out. But recently I have been shopping on Vinted and I found a few sellers who resell unused Charlotte Tilbury products for a great price.
One of my favourite products is the Pillow Talk Beautifying Face Palette in light to medium. This palette has some of my favourite blush and highlighter shades Charlotte has ever made but they aren’t sold separately so you have to buy the whole palette. As you can imagine that palette went viral and sold out straight away and I was so happy to get my hands on the palette. Now I’ve owned it for over a year you can imagine the state it’s in now!
When I bought this palette it was £60 which wasn’t too bad when you think each pan is worth £30 each! But on Vinted I managed to get a whole new palette for £30 which is insane! In the palette if you didn’t see it the first time round, it has 2 pink blush tones inspired by Pillow Talk and 2 highlighters. I personally only use the silver toned highlighter and then pink one I use as eyeshadow. I am so over the moon now I have a back up of this palette and honestly will be keeping my eye on tilbury items sold on Vinted in the future.
If you’re looking for affordable options to buy high end products why not try looking at Vinted. But remember before purchasing check seller reviews and make sure there are pictures of the item.

Hi guys!
Today I wanted to chat about my favourite drugstore foundation! Recently I've been wearing a lot of high end foundations but I decided to have a browse online and see what new makeup releases are out. On Revolution.com I noticed they had finally launched their Skin Silk Foundation , £10.99!
I was lucky enough to receive samples of this foundation back in the beginning of February and really loved it so of course I had to pick up a proper version now. When it comes to affordable foundations I am a massive fan of Makeup Revolution because their foundation formulas really remind me of high end products and yet they have a very affordable price tag.
If you haven't seen this foundation before it is Revolution's first ever serum foundation which brings skincare and makeup into one product. This foundation is a light to buildable formula, giving you a skin like, radiant finish. Personally I love that the foundation has a blurring effect and has a satin finish because I love a glow but like within reason. It is also made with peptides to boost collagen and work to firm, brighten and hydrate the skin. Personally I love a multi purpose product especially when it's a foundation that treats your skin whilst you use it.
If you are looking for an affordable foundation to add to your collection and prefer a more natural makeup look, this foundation could be perfect for you. As always all products mentioned are linked above. Don't forget to use code LUCE20 to get 20% off full priced items.

Hi guys!
I am so excited to write this blog post today because Charlotte Tilbury has brought out a brand new skincare product! As well as makeup Charlotte Tilbury is even more known for their skincare products and the last time we had a new product was last years Magic Water Cream. So today we are chatting about the brand new Magic Hydration Revival Cleanser £25 (120ml) or £12 (30ml)
Though there are a lot of products in Charlotte's skincare range, one product she has never released is a cleanser. Personally I always felt like this product was missing from her collection. Back in the begnining of Feb I got a notification asking me to test out a brand new product skincare product I jumped at the chance. Ironically I didn't know what it was until it arrived but I was ecstatic to see a cleanser arrive at my door.
Let's chat details shall we? This cleanser is designed to deeply cleanse, purify and melt makeup away, it will leave your skin hydrated and with a gorgeous glow. Made with hyaluronic acid, peptide and biomimetic complex as well as giving your skin a deep clean it also helps to reduce pores and make skin look clearer. This formula is very unique compared to other cleansers because it goes from cream to foam to milk. When you first apply the cleanser to your face it appears as a gel cream and then as you add water it foam and when you wash it away it changes into a milky consistency.
I honestly adore this product so far because it gives your skin a real deep cleanse without drying your skin out or irritating it. Sometimes the best cleansers can give your skin a deep clean but dry out your complexion whereas this one smooths my skin texture and leaves you glowing with hydration. So if you are a fan of Charlotte Tilbury skincare products I think you're really going to like this product.
As always all products mentioned are linked above. Currently you can only purchase this item through the Charlotte Tilbury App before it launches officially beginning of March!

Hi guys,
I think I have a new favourite concealer!! Fenty Beauty recently brought out a brand new concealer called We're Even Hydrating Longwear Concealer, £25.00. When Fenty Beauty brought out their original concealer I wasn't the biggest fan because it felt kinda cakey on my under eyes but this new formula is a total game changer.
First off let's discuss the shade range, in the original concealer I wear shade 120 which to be honest wasn't greatest shade match for me. Though it was a fair shade, it had a yellow under toned which doesn't suit me at all so I didn't use the concealer much. But in this new range, there is a shade 125 which is a cool toned fair shade with a traditional pink undertone. So already we're off to a way better shade wise and now Fenty has even bigger shade range.
Unlike the original concealer this new formula focuses on being a hydrating formula so it doesn't cake on the skin. This concealer is designed to be a 12-hour hydrating, long-wear concealer that comes in a range of 50 medium coverage shades with a natural, second-skin finish. I adore this concealer because it looks natural on your face and yet you can build up coverage to your perfect finish. I also love how easy it is to blend into your complexion. This has become my can't leave the house without concealer since it hides my under eyes so well and is also a great choice for reapplying during the day.
If you are looking for a hydrating concealer I really recommend checking this one out. There are 50 shades of concealer to choose from so I can expect there's a shade for everyone. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hey guys,
Since we are still in the season of valentines makeup, red and pink tones, and all things glamorous I wanted to chat more about the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Icon Lipstick collection. If you didn't know the brand new Hollywood Beauty Icon collection includes 10 new lipstick shades and 5 matching Lip Cheat Lip Liners. There are 5 red Matte Revolution lipsticks and 5 pink KI.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks. What I personally love about this collection is if you buy one of the pink tones your lipstick comes in exclusive pink rose gold case and if you purchase a red tone, it is a bright red case. Though it's a small detail I love how these lipsticks stand out in my collection compared to the original gold packaging.
Since this collection has now been out a while in my collection I now 3 lipsticks and 2 lip cheat lip liners so let's chat about the shades. Let's start with the red shades, I must admit red isn't a normal my go to lip shade but I wanted to go out my comfort zone. At the counter I was recommended the darkest red in the new collection called Matte Revolution Lipstick in Cinematic Red, £27.00 which is a bright cinematic cherry-red lipstick. I love this shade because it makes my blue eyes pop like crazy. Like I said it's not a tone I wear often so I decided to also get a lip liner so I picked up Red Carpet Red Lip Cheat Lip Liner, £21.00 which is a blue-toned red lip liner.
When this collection was announced I knew I would love the pink tone shades because they really compliment my complexion and honestly had to tame myself from buying all 5 shades. I started off my pink collection with arguably the most wearable colour in the collection Icon Baby, £27.00. In this collection the pink tones come in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula which is the soft satin shine finish formula. Icon Baby is a warm nude-rose and in this collection is the most nude toned pink in the range. I also decided to pick up the Icon Baby matching Lip Cheat Lip Liner, £21.00 which is a stunning warm nude-rose. I love nude tones and this colour is easily something I could wear daily! In the pink collection I also decided to pick up the shade Red Carpet Pink, £27.00 which is a more pastel pink shade. I love this pink because it is a more traditional pink shade and brighter compared to Icon Baby.
I honestly think is one of Charlotte's best lipstick collections in a long time and really think if you like wearing reds and pinks you can find a shade to match any skin tone. If you have purchased anything from this collection I would love to know what shades you've picked up. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
I love a viral drugstore product and this week we are trying a new e.l.f Cosmetics product ( and yes I recently learnt that E.L.F stands for eyes, lips , face). Now I'm going to be honest this primer has been out for a hot minute but it is so hard to get your hands on because it's always out of stock! So friends today we are chatting about the e.l.f Power Grip Primer + 4% Niacinamide, £10.00.
If you're a fan of e.l.f products you will know that the Power Grip Primer has been out for a while but now e.l.f has released a new version which includes niacinamide in the ingredients. If you have never tried the Power Grip primer before it is viral for being a sticky gel-based primer. Unlike the original formula this updated version is infused with 4% niacinamide to help even out skin tone and brighten complexion. This primer leaves your skin with a dewy, glowing finish.
If you have trouble with your makeup staying in place all day then this is your dream primer. Considering how much of a change this product has made to my makeup routine I'm surprised it only costs £10.00! I feel like this product is the perfect example of a drugstore product that could easily be mistaken for luxury quality.
As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
Recently Charlotte Tilbury brought out a new lipstick collection called Hollywood Beauty Icons which includes 10 new red and pink lipsticks. I adore this collection and after chatting about the shades Icon Baby (nude pink) and Cinematic Red ( blue toned, rich red), I decided to add another to my pink collection.
Though I adore all 5 of the new pink shades I decided to restrain myself and get 1 new shade so I picked Red Carpet Pink in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula This shade matches my Icon Baby lip liner so I didn't need to get another one though there are 4 more new shades in the collection. Anyway back to the lipstick, Red Carpet Pink is described as a sumptuous pastel pink lipstick in my moisturising formula with a soft satin shine finish, encased in a pink tube!
I love this collection because if you pick a red lipstick it comes in a exclusive red tube, and the same for the pink lipsticks too. Personally I am loving this new shade because the first shade from the pink collection I got was Icon Baby which is a more nude toned pink and when you compare Red Carpet Pink, it is a much more traditional pink shade. If you love Pillow Talk but want something more satin and brighter then this could be your new favourite lipstick.
As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
Today we are chatting about hair, in particular my hair journey and why I went back to brunette from red.
When I was 17-22 (2010-2015) years old I loved colouring my hair with semi-permanent hair colours, at this time I was in my emo stage and of course had to have red / plum hair. My mum said I shouldn't use permanent dye at the time so I only used L'Oreal Casting Creme glosses and they had this gorgeous red colour I used all the time. Unfortunately they discontinued this shade so I stopped colouring my hair for a while and let my brunette colour come back. Though this took a while the colour eventually washed out and I didn't think about it again.
Skip along to 2020, we all know what happened that year and I was bored of my hair colour. Since I knew I was going to be at home for a while I decided to bite the bullet and go bright red! Unlike last time I committed to permanent hair colour which was scary but I knew I would be keeping the red for a long time. I used a Garnier dye called Warm Red and it was a very Hayley Williams hair colour. I loved the hair colour and felt so myself with this colour. I kept this hair colour for 3 years and during 2022 I decided my hair style needed a change so I added bangs! I blame Taylor Swift bringing out RED TV because this convinced me it was time to relive my bangs and fedora hat phase.
Finally in 2023 I grew out my fringe into a slightly awkward side fringe until it was finally long enough to pass off as (curtain) layers which was really cute for a while. I also decided the red hair was too much maintenance to keep up with so I started dying my hair dark brown. Now obviously what I should of done was strip the colour first and then use the brown hair on top but that's too easy so I coloured over it. Though it coloured most of the red I still had a tint of red coming through.
Since my hair was so dead I also cut a few inches off it and it turned into this cute dark brown long bob which I honestly loved! I also started using only brown hair dyes and tried to not colour my hair as often as I was before. When you have red hair you have to colour your hair every 5-6 weeks because of colour fade. Whereas with brown dye I can get away with it longer so it's every month and half to 2 months I colour my hair now since I have a few grey hairs now to cover. Cutting my hair was the best decision because my hair was much healthier and it also helped I was using hair masks to fix my dry, damaged hair.
Now in 2024 my hair has no more red tints going through it and it is so much healthier! I use a hair mask once a week, I wash my hair with Olaplex Detox shampoo once a week with a deep condition and it has made a drastic difference. So moral of the story by all means colour your hair however you want to but make sure you look after it otherwise you will end up with dried damage hair like me. Luckily I changed my hair habits before it's too late and now I love having more natural hair. I feel like now I'm 30 having dark brown hair feels a little more grown up and honestly kinda boosted my confidence a bit. It's ironic but when you've had funky hair colours for so long, a natural hair colour seems just as exciting to try again and they also cause less damage to your hair in the long run.
I would love to know what products you use to protect your hair so let me know in the comments.
Lot's of love,

Happy Valentines Day!
Hi guys,
A few posts ago I told you all about Charlotte Tilbury's new Hollywood Beauty Icon's Lipstick collection! In the collection there are 10 new red and pink lipsticks as well as new matching lip liners! The collection is gorgeous and depending on whether you buy a team red or team pink lipstick the outer packaging matches which is so cute!
The last time I showed you the range I picked up a pink lipstick called Icon Baby which I got the lipstick and matching lip liner but in the spirit of Valentines Day I decided to try the reds out today! I always find red lipsticks really hard to wear so I decided to play it safe and go for the darkest red in the new collection. In the new collection the pink shades are the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula which is the satin lipsticks so a much softer shiny finish. Whereas all the red tones are the Matte Revolution formula which is a much safer option for red shades since they can be messy to apply sometimes.
First off can we appreciate the iconic red packaging because it is so pretty. If you haven't bought a Tilbury lipstick because they usually have rose gold packaging. The lipstick I picked up is called Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade Cinematic Red, £27.00. This red lipstick is described as a bright cinematic cherry-red lipstick. Like I mentioned before this isn't my normal go to shade but I love how it pops on my complexion and also makes my eyes look bluer! I also picked up the Lip Cheat Lip Liner in the shade Red Carpet Red,£21.00. Anytime you are wearing a red lipstick you need a lip liner to keep your makeup in place and these lip liners are long wearing so you can even wear them by itself too. This shade is described as a modern blue-toned red lip liner with a long-lasting, waterproof formula, this is the kind of red liner I could easily wear with any red lipstick which is handy to have.
So if you're looking for your perfect red lip I really think you should check out this collection. I hope you're all having a lovely valentines day whoever you're spending it with. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hi guys,
We all know I love luxury beauty but there are some drugstore brands out there that are killing the game! Maybelline has been one of my favourite drugstore brands for (literally) years now. I think I started wearing their makeup when I was 16/17 and I’m now 30! So today I thought I would share with you my 3 favourite face base products from the brand.
First off we are starting with my favourite product that is a combo of skincare and makeup, it's the Maybelline Super Stay up to 24H Skin Tint Foundation + Vitamin C, £12.99. If you like a natural, glowy looking foundation rather than a full coverage formula then this is your new best friend. Made with Vitamin C to brighten and treat your skin while you're wearing it , this foundation gives you a natural, weightless finish. I love wearing this tint on days when my skin doesn't need a lot of coverage and this formula is buildable so some days you can wear it natural and other days build up for a medium finish.
Next up we have the glow in a bottle, it's the Maybelline Instant Anti Age Perfector 4-In-1 Glow Primer, Concealer, Highlighter, £12.99. This is Maybelline's multi-use product, not only does it add glow to your complexion but it can be used as a primes, conceals, highlights, and evens skin tone. I love using when alternatively to my Hollywood Flawless Filter, sometimes I'll use under my eyes before foundation to brighten or all over my face to add coverage / prime. I haven't used it as a foundation yet but I've seen some people using it as their foundation which if you had dry skin I think could wear really well.
Lastly, if a glowy face base isn't your thing or you want more of a fuller coverage I think you'll prefer the Maybelline Superstay 30hr Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid 30ml, £10.99. Unlike the previous 2 products this foundation is our matte option for those oily combo people out there. Personally I love this formula because yes it is a full coverage, matte finish but it's made with hyaluronic acid so it's protecting your skin while being worn. Though I love a lot of matte formulas I personally use this one the most because it is also transfer-resistant, water-resistant and sweat-resistant so if you have a problem with your makeup moving, your safe!
So there we go, you don't need to spend lot's of money to get great products and if you're shopping for drugstore makeup I really recommend checking out Maybelline because their newer products are amazing!!! As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x
