SPOILERS FOR PROTECTION BELOW BUT I HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE RINGS ‼️‼️

So while this episode KILLED me as a adrienette Stan, most of my interest in it lies in that it basically confirmed with these scenes that BOTH of the twin rings control Adrien, meaning that his amok is split between the two.

(Sorry side note I LOVE Nathalie for this your redemption era looks so good on you sis ❤️ )

So, both Gabriel and Emilie had Adrien’s amok with them. If we want to be optimistic, this makes sense from a not evil perspective: having Adrien’s amok being in only one ring is VERY DANGEROUS, and so having it split between two rings with two people is best, and what better two people than his parents… right?

Except oh wait, the rings can control him against his will and one of the parents in question is Gabriel Agreste 🤡 But at least his mom was good and she had the other… right?

But wait! Personally, I DONT believe the Emilie is evil (for my mental health 🤡), and as such I don’t think that she ever used her ring to control Adrien… at least, not in a selfish way. Instead, I think how Nathalie used the ring this episode hints as to how Emilie might have used it: to free Adrien of any commands given to him from G*briel.

However there is NO WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE! I for one cannot WAIT to see how this new dynamic with the conflicting commands from the rings plays out! My poor on will be stuck in the middle of it all… bring on the angst!

I wish I could go more into detail with my thoughts, but this post is long enough so… part 2 with more rambling about this ft. my thoughts ab where the hell Felix’s Amok is coming tomorrow!

In conclusion: #FreeAdrien and give him his rings… yes after he gets them he will have to wear THREE silver rings 24/7, but it’s ok he can pull it off I believe in him ❤️

Except it would probably be dangerous for him to have both rings on at the same time…

Hmm………. Whatever will we do about that……

Monday 5th February 2024

Ladybug and Chat Noir planning the week ahead like bosses. That's epic. Anyway...

Last weekend was exhausting because I'm nearly done with the hyperpop case study, both in essay and poster forms. Also, I have written down last Friday's entry into my PebblePad portfolio and added it to my activity log. I have yet also gotten back into playing Forza Horizon 5 after a month's absence and I'm looking forward to the Lunar New Year season they have here.

Throughout the last few hours, I made a draft music composition for the BBC wildlife programme Animal Park as part of my Accessed Work-Like Experience (AWLE) portfolio blending classical and electronic music genres with flavourings of African music in-between. That's one down and one to go when I get into the next brief.

Valentine's Day is coming up in a week, but it's not just about falling in love. Sometimes, you should be single and not worry about fishing for other males/females. For me, I would continue to love and heal myself in those hard times rather than search for the perfect soulmate. It seems that all is not fair in love and war and I can understand that meaning; you don't deserve to be heartbroken because you're special to anyone who deserves you in the first place.

I really like how you've been developing MJ's character, it really feels like she's a part of the family. It's also nice to think Peters less alone than he thinks he is

thank you!! :,] she really is a part of the family to me. i love MJ too much to sideline her. In the noir comics her and peter really do have absolutely 0 romantic chemistry but thats okay because it gives me the perfect reason to give the two of them more of a sibling dynamic. ive been starting to piece together exactly what their history entails, and i think i might make a little relationship chart of them over the years to post.

"its also nice to think peter's less alone than he thinks he is" SO REAL. MJ's noir character is really needed. Her and May both have lessons Peter needs to learn if he's ever going to be okay in any semblance of the word. Its set up in vol 1 issue 1 of the comic that Peter is so angry he's going to burn himself down to the ground. I think MJ wanting to be an actress/interested in the arts is a perfect way to start to curb Peter a bit.

there is soo much poetry and writing and art about how its the little things that make you a person & get u through the day. Something about how people have been making art for as long as people have been people, and how thats a way to connect to the world around u despite feeling alone. Or that one quote "in the dark times, will there also be singing? yes, there will be singing about the dark times."

Noir peter is on a slippery slope because he's fighting to make the world a better place, but because he can't see past the corruption that makes up the world, he sees the bad in everything and everyone before anything else. At some point there'll a point where he wont see a city worth saving anymore. Like at the end of Eyes w out a Face, the world is full of decent people, not good. He's approaching that point. But then again, there's MJ sitting right next to him, saying things are going to get better. in his universe, you really have to actively look for good things, but that doesn't mean they're not there.

this is an incredibly longwinded way of saying yeah, MJ is a part of his family and could very well be an integral part of not losing himself as he continues on as the spider man

hello, love! not sure which post you're talking about, but the last time i posted a story was in 2020, so it's surely been a while, lmao. to be honest with you all, my days of writing for marvel are coming to an end, but when i saw this ask, i thought i'd post something in honor of the sequel of the movie that started it all, since this blog will forever mean a lot to me. thank you for this request, i hope it's enough <3

Peter watches you now, as you wash the dishes and pass them to him to dry, lather covering your hands and forearms. You nearly drop and break a ceramic plate in the sink, and your humming to a song stuck in your head is replaced by small giggles.

He worries you’ll never know how much he truly loves you.

He knows you understand how tough it can be for him sometimes to be as open and vulnerable. Tribulations and heartache forged his heart, painted his soul a deep blue— like fierce, destructive ocean waves during a violent storm. You’ve reassured him countless times, yet after everything he’s seen, his brain struggles to accept there can exist someone so gentle, so angelic. As war and bloodshed explode around him, you’re like a flower blooming in between the broken concrete— beauty amidst the foulness.

You wash the soap off your skin, and when you close the faucet, Peter immediately reaches for your wet hands and gently dries them with the kitchen towel. You chuckle. “You’re supposed to dry the dishes— not my hands.”

At the sight of your grin that reaches your eyes, he smiles. So many words, so many languages, so many smiles, and touches of lips, yet neither could ever fully convey this glow in his chest. So many universes, worlds, and people that have entered his life and that he will happen upon, yet he’ll always choose to be here with you.

He calls your name. It’s an incantation that illuminates his chest and seeps into his surroundings, painting over the blue with glimmering gold. It helps him believe he won’t forever be damaged. No, he can also be the sunlight filtering through the heavy clouds and smoke, caressing the flower.

Instead of the towel, Peter’s hands now brush against your skin, fingers trailing down your forearms, wrists, and knuckles until he places his palms flat against yours. He reaches down and plants a tender kiss on your forehead, lips lingering for a while. When he pulls away from you, heart racing, he prays you understand.

Your eyes soften, your fingers interlocking with his.

“I know. I love you, too.”
