Personal challenge: a simple sketch each day
Goal: forcing me to keep things simple - inking, shading, just a few sashes of colour
Improvement pursued: to get the movement, the emotion, finding how to add depth, learning how to leave things barely finished
Max time allowed: 2 hours instead of 8-20 on my previous projects - well, 2 hours for the complete sketch, then 1 more hour for editing their lovely quotes - AND drawing the Minisnake!Crowley.
Today's theme chosen by me: Well, this time it definitely feels like it's the theme that HAS CHOSEN me. I was scrolling on Tumblr and found this old "Gymnast Vs Stuntwoman" video I have already seen on YouTube months ago. But my GO-rotten brain made me think "WOAAA this is splendid AziraCrow Arrangement's vibes, doesn't it'". Aaaand... Voilà.
Trivia: when I started this Challenge, I wasn't very comfortable with Aziraphale soft curves - partly because I always tried to draw unrealistic bodies and "healthy" (whatever that means) silhouettes, and partly because it reminds me of my own bigger roundnesses and I can't stop feeling ashamed about it. But now I like to draw realistic Aziraphale more and more, sometimes plushy, sometimes a little bit more muscular (you'll see it in my future Ice Skating Tribute). It is a long road for me, but I like it a little more each day .
Trivia2: I love so much their wings tattoos. And I am particularly proud of the winged-sword because when I imagined it, it only took 10 minutes doing it. I am having so much fun in this Challenge, because I don't have time to think or hesitate. It's very refreshing for an indecisive and perfectionist artist like me.

Mitsuri is some sort of popular athlete/gymnast/stuntwoman who posts videos of herself doing stunts... Even before she got cast she's already a popular fancast for the character, helped by her already signature pink hair <3
Tanjiro *is* a popular actor with lots of experience ALSO he's a heartthrob & just super cool & everyone loves him - like he's just perfect Tanjiro.
The two little Nezuko-chans are his actual lil sisters!!! They are twins!!!
Genya and Muichiro are dating irl and they're super cute off-cam - even tho they don't share a lot of scenes this season they always hang out on each other's sets/shoots.
Genya is a quiet bean!! He's just in his corner!! His favorite character is Giyuu (which annoys his onscreen brother lmao Sanemi's like "Why not ME?")
Muichiro & Mitsuri are both super active in social media & post BTS pics!
Inosuke is a dancer and originally applied to be a background stuntperson BUT THEY ARE SO PRETTY and had amazing chemistry with the cast they were casted anyway. They're besties with Nezuko bc I love them so much ur honor.

Reading the last part I was immediately reminded of the Deadpool2 fiasco where the black stuntwoman got killed because they insisted on having her do a stunt she wasn't trained for, just because she was black. It was that they didn't want a non-black stuntwoman because "the character is black, so the stuntwoman has to be black." Yeah great fantastic... you killed someone. You killed a woman who you knew wasn't qualified, because you wanted to pat yourselves on the back.
It always annoys me when I hear about accidents, especially fatal accidents, that happen because someone in production just decided their ideas are more important than human lives. So many accidents come from sheer stupidity and neglect. There are even more stories of stuntpeople getting completely fucked, because someone up the ladder messed up with the gear, sets, or other important bits, cutting corners, or trying to make it more "real".

I remember that. She went through a window while doing a motorcycle stunt with no helmet.
Boo hoo, it's hard to do CGI hair! Too fucking bad. Why was your stuntperson not wearing a god damn helmet while attempting a dangerous motorcycle stunt?!
It can also be an issue with the skankwear they put female action heroes in because it's infinitely harder to hide protective gear under the dupes the stuntwomen wear. All the stupidass titty window costuming has a direct effect on safety.

As the stuntperson iced their knee, the entity haunting them for the past three weeks materialized beside them, in all their translucent glory.
“So like, I get that these types of death-defying gigs are literally your job, but it’s seriously killing me all over again to watch you get hurt,” the ghost mused, flexing their muscles as if to look more casual talking about something serious.
The stuntperson felt a little guilt, looking at their friend. They wondered, briefly, when they started caring for the ghost.
“Sorry. You don’t have to watch, you know.”
The ghost scoffed, offended. “Um, okay, whatever? Maybe I’m not even here for you. Maybe my unfinished business has something to do with me studying the psychology of adrenaline junkies. You don’t know.”
The stuntperson smiled. “You’re hot when you’re talking about psychology.”
The ghost’s cheeks turned so crimson they were almost opaque.

Year of the Bat - Number 29
Welcome to Year of the Bat! In honor of Kevin Conroy, Arleen Sorkin, and Richard Moll, I’m counting down my Top 31 Favorite Episodes of “Batman: The Animated Series” throughout this January.
EPISODE QUOTE: “The final stunt IS the best.”
Number 29 is…The Ultimate Thrill.
This is widely regarded as the most…um… “suggestive” episode in “Batman: The Animated Series.” While the show was not above a few innuendos and implications here and there, they were usually pretty subtle. This episode, rather infamously, basically turns any undertones into overtones: subtlety is not part of the game. You can decide if that specific element is a good or a bad thing, but it certainly makes it memorable. Regardless, that’s NOT the real reason I love this story.
“The Ultimate Thrill” focuses on the exploits of a character named Roxy Rocket: an original villainess created for the DCAU. She actually got her start in some spin-off comics for the franchise; the creators enjoyed the concept of the character so much, they finally gave her an animated outing with this story. The basic plot is pretty simple: Roxy teams-up with the Penguin, stealing jewelry for him while he acts as the fence, paying her for her work and then pawning off the baubles to the highest bidder. Penguin gets fed up with Roxy’s overzealous thrillseeking, however, and – out of fear she may cause trouble for his business at the Iceberg Lounge – tries to have her assassinated. Batman must now try to capture Roxy, before Penguin’s minions get to her first.
It's the two villains who make this story so memorable. In Penguin’s case, this is the only really major story he had in the New Batman Adventures era of the show. He popped up frequently throughout season four, but it was usually as a cameo or just a minor supporting role. In this story, he’s the main villain (not the main ANTAGONIST, but the main VILLAIN; there’s a difference), and I really like the way he’s used here. By this point in the series, Oswald Cobblepot had seemingly reformed and was running a prestigious nightclub called the Iceberg Lounge…but was secretly still a villain, doing his dirty deeds out the back window. It was great to see that character concept in full action here.
Roxy, however, is the one who truly makes this story. Her origins are only described, not shown, but setup for the character is really great: once upon a time, Roxy was a movie stuntperson, and an aspiring actress. However, her stunts became increasingly dangerous, to the point where no one wanted to hire her for fear of either herself or others being hurt in the process. Roxy thus turned to a life of crime, figuring that nothing could be more thrilling than the life of an outlaw. We’ve had other villains who enjoyed the thrill of the chase, so to speak – Catwoman is a good example, for instance – but none quite so…intensely as Roxy Rocket. To say that Roxy is an adrenaline junkie is putting it far too mildly. It’s made pretty darn obvious that she basically “gets off” on thrills; that’s where so much of the more suggestive side of the story comes from.
Even ignoring that specific angle, though, it’s just interesting to see HOW MUCH of a thrillseeker Roxy is. She will do literally ANYTHING, it often seems, just to get some excitement. From very simple things, like mock-gambling, to outright taking pleasure out of the thought of her own possible demise, it seems like she’ll try just about whatever, short of murder, simply for the sake of a little excitement. On that note, yeah, Roxy’s also not really depicted as outright EVIL, but simply a thrillseeking lunatic: in both this episode and her comic appearances from the DCAU, she’s consistently depicted as being much less violent and cruel compared to a lot of other baddies. There are even hints of a sort of self-deluding naivete to Roxy: she describes herself out loud as “the heroine of the story,” and seems legitimately shocked when other characters turn against her. When Penguin tries to kill her, she’s absolutely flabbergasted. When Batman snaps the cuffs on her at one point, she’s genuinely confused why. I love the different layers of this character, and I really wish we could have seen more of her…but you can certainly say that her single appearance (barring a Superman crossover) was a banger.
Did I mean it “that way” when I said “banger”? Maybe, maybe not. With Roxy Rocket, neither would be surprising. Ha Ha.

I was watching some YouTube shorts where a Gymnast and Stuntperson were training together, and now all I can think of is Gymnast! Steve and Stuntman!Eddie-
Steve, just doing these graceful flips and jumps, meanwhile Eddie is trying to keep up with him, and while he manages to do some of the moves he just keeps wiping out spectacularly 🤣
That, or Steve is still a Gymnast and Eddie is simply too confident in himself and proceeds to try and do everything Steve does, with little success but much admiration.
Could be a stand alone idea, or part of the S.B.B verse 🤔

This is a mini series I made for enjoyment I don't know how frequent updates will be but enjoy anyhow
Each Chapter will center on a different character
I don't own Melody Seashell she belongs to @melodyseashell22 or twisted wonderland and it's characters they belong to Disney and Yana Toboso
I own Celine Perrine and Nicole "Nikki" Iriscope as I made them
Characters: Melody Seashell, Celine Perrine, Nikki Iriscope
Chapter 1: A long and winding path
Nikki had been watching her friends for some time when a thought crossed her mind, there were many expectations placed upon them. After all they were attending the school founded by some of the most powerful people recorded in history. Nikki herself knew what she wanted but to get there it wasn't an easy task, none of their dreams were.
Melody, one of the recent additions to their school within the year wanted to be an idol, she certainly had the voice for it but the industry was of course harsh to anyone who wanted to tread upon it. Melody also happened to have stage fright.
Celine as much as she enjoyed making beautiful clothing to make others feel happy, that industry is also harsh one and Nikki knew she feared her work might not be enough , it didn't help that you needed to be capable of accepting criticism and not giving up. Celine after all was harsh on herself enough from Nikkis observations.
As for Nikki she wanted to create films, being as flexible as she was surely she could be a capable stuntperson. Not just anyone was allowed to be behind the camera and she'd need to prove herself capable of being a star. It was demanding just the same as her friends
They needed plenty of things, they needed practice, but most of all they needed money and a lot of it . It dawned on Nikki just how they could get what they needed.
Nikki looked over at her friends before she took their hands in her own making Celine and Melody look at her
"I know a way we can fund all our dreams and get a little respect around here, that's what you both want right?" She spoke calmly with lilt in her voice
Both Celine and Melodys' eyes widened with curiosity and interest to what her plan might be
"Well yeah but how do we do it?" Melody inquired
Nikki seemed amused at her question "by taking a leaf out of my family's book"
The three soon approached the headmasters office where he and Azul Ashengrotto were kindly asked to meet them
"Miss Iriscope I do hope you plan to explain what it was you needed" the crow masked man spoke
"Yes I'd also like to know why is it you involved me" the bespectacled dorm leader chimed in
"If you both would quiet down I'll tell you" Nikki retorted keeping herself calm
They each sat down before Nikki spoke up
"I'd like to propose something that would benefit everyone present in this room, perhaps an extension to the Monstro Lounge" At this Azul raised a brow
"What kind of extension would that be exactly?"
"One of the easiest ways to make money Ashengrotto, a casino" Nikki spoke while looking at her nails
Crowley stared at the young lady after her proposal as if she had grown five heads
"And why would I allow such a thing on my school?" Dire asked flabbergasted
"Because part of the funds would make their way back to both the Monstro Lounge and the school itself, it's a lovely opportunity no?" Celine spoke up knowing this was surely an opportunity neither Dire or Azul would dare let slip through their fingers.
The headmaster placed his fingers to his chin and it was clear Azul was invested after all if it was an extension to his place that meant more guests, more deals to be made
"Since I am so kind I will allow your little extension" Dire said with a smile upon his lips
"Yes ladies I think this will work out nicely, I look forward to working with you three" Azul said
With that the three smiled to themselves even Melody knew this was only a step in the right direction for them and it would only be a matter of time before their wishes would be granted

How’s the future for Zexal characters? Show us what you think a Zexal character (or several) are doing post-series or how they look when they grow up?
I believe most of them are still living in Heartland (but still travel elsewhere etc) and I thought of some cool careers and things they could be doing:
Yuma - pro duelist
this was a given considering it was his dream, only fair to make it come true when he's grown up
Astral - warrior/protector, interdimensional researcher
his role in Astral-Barian World remains the same. After the worlds were forcibly fused together, there need to be someone to keep all that Chaos in check so that the Astralians don't disappear. He also helps with pooling interdimensional knowledge since he, himself, is not human and lives in somewhere other than Earth
Kotori - kindergarten teacher
I think she would make a good teacher and her likeable and caring personality would be popular among little kids and their moms
Ryoga - marine biologist and/or interdimensional researcher
Shark was never extremely passionate about dueling and I believe all that drama throughout the series would definitely drive him away from dueling professionally again, I do see him as a scientist though. As Astral, he has experience first hand with being non-human (formerly)
Kaito - engineer, interdimensional researcher
already things he was from the start of the series, so no massive changes except for his age and being more experienced (eventually taking over his father's laboratory)
Rio - pro duelist, model, actor, athlete
she showed how much she is capable of so it's only natural that she would hone those skills and have an active life doing several different things. She preferred modeling for environmental causes, acting in stage/theater and competing in winter sports
Tetsuo - pro skater, model, maybe also pro duelist
I think it would be so much fun if Tetsuo started skating professionally and I can totally see him rocking urban/alternative apparel and making a lot of money/fame as a model
Tokunosuke - "entrepreneur"
he's still swindling people, just a little bit smarter about it
Cathy - pet groomer
of course she will work with animals, what did you think?
Takashi - paralegal
don't see him as a lawyer but I do see him working in justice. That was pretty much a given, considering his personality
Anna - pro duelist and stunt performer
it would be freaking hilarious to see her as a stuntperson so, why not?
Haruto - interdimensional research assistent
by choice, Haruto doesn't get involved directly in his family's research, so he takes on a organizational and administrative role more
III - historian, researcher, writer
I like to think that III had a very important role in the ongoing discovery of all interdimensional things due to his profound knowledge of the past and how it influences today. He never sought fame but it comes to him anyway with all his published papers
IV - pro duelist, model
all that interdimensional stuff? He's not interested in the slightest. IV duels his way to the top of the top and, as usual, he's very smug about it. He can be, he's that good
Durbe - professor (perhaps a specialist in linguistics)
I can't see Durbe as anything else than an academic, he just has that vibe going on for him
Vector - ???
who even know about Vector. He's rich, somehow. He comes and goes as he pleases and when people ask he says something like "don't worry about it ;-)"
Alito - bartender, dancer
I'd love to see Alito excelling in all kinds of dances, receiving accolades because of just how skilled he is, and working in the local nightlife seems like it would suit him
Gilag - bodybuilder, strongman
yeah, that's about it. He's got the muscles for it, he should use them
Mizael - interdimensional researcher
it was surprisingly tricky to figure him out? And I feel like he takes on a more mixed role, not too hands-on and not too detached either. He's mainly helping the Tenjos with in-field research
most of the other characters I didn't mention here are most likely following the same path as the show.. Fuya is still an actor; Faker, Byron/Tron and V are scientists and interdimensional researchers; Droite is a manager and Gauche is a pro duelist/wrestler
in most my headcanons, everyone was resurrected by the Numeron Code including Don Thousand. I'm unsure of his role but he would stand together with Eliphas in Astral-Barian World, their roles as the most powerful beings (akin to gods) would be to maintain the harmony. Ena would be more of a messenger and mediator. As Vector, Number 96 would be mysterious, but he mostly stays in that world, challenging Astral to duels here and then

I’m working on ‘a little mad sometimes’ and I’m cackling at the sheer *chaos* the triplets cause😂.
Izzy can be so *brutal*-but most of the time she doesn’t even do it on purpose. She can tell when people are making fun of her, but sometimes she misses the signs to the lead up.
A BULLY*walking over to make fun of Vince and Izzy*: “Hey, Schneider, Loomis! You’re never gonna believe what I heard from my dad!”
IZZY*honestly being genuine*: “OH! You finally heard an ‘I love you’ from your father and received his love and affection? That’s great!😊”
A BULLY: *suddenly choking back tears*
VINCE: *nearly spits his drink*

I'm not gonna claim to know about the broader industry but what I've noticed with warrior nun is that the combat scenes are typically shot with an actor with their face showing and a stuntperson they shoot specifically to try and avoid the face, especially in more complex choreography/when one of the parties is wielding a weapon.
they get away with bea's hallway scenes by using the chainmail veil, while with other ones they tend to shoot from the back and have the stuntperson turn away from the camera when trading blows (or, in the case of the one/two-shot church scene, kty and her stunt double swap out mid-shot). in the majority of the wider shots in this specific fight scene, if william's face is visible, it's stuntperson-ava
(this is the same stuntperson as the table fight, which is a stunt double two-for-one)
