I love the fact that in Lisa Frankenstein the creature's only words that are actually his own during that entire movie is that inscription on Lisa's grave saying beloved wife.
He can't speak until the last scene and even then he is using someone else's words to express himself by reciting the poem to Mary by Percy Shelley.
