most recent chapter of my fic now has it so both of Gadget's parents were briefly described, so I thought I would post this quick sketch I did a bit ago of his family (pictured a bit over half a decade ago.) More info below the cut.

From left to right:

Gina the Wolf, currently 55, pictured at 49. She was raised in an environment that emphasized academics, and she is a tenured professor at New Mobotropolis University. Has a PhD in mechanical engineering and mostly teaches at the doctoral level. Notorious for being a bit too lax when it comes to dangerous or controversial research projects.

Gizmo the Wolf, currently 16, pictured at 10. Artistically inclined, outgoing and never hesitates to bother his brother. Still finishing high school and plans to study art at a local university.

Gadget the Wolf, currently 20, pictured at 14. Hero of the war. Originally a quiet kid who had just moved far away from home to go to college to study computer science when the war suddenly hit. Most people know the rest of the story.

Gears the (Maned) Wolf, currently 52, pictured at 46. Car mechanic by trade, grew up in a rough neighborhood. Now owns her own repair place. Is half Maned Wolf (making both her kids a quarter). Her and Gina met when Gina brought her car with a flat tire to the shop Gears worked at during that point in her life. Gina's parents didn't approve of them being together due to several reasons. They have been married for 22 years.

I’m sorry if someone already asked this, but which laptop do you have?? I’m browsing around for a decent 2-in-1

Hi, don't be sorry! This is the first ask I've ever gotten, so it's kinda exciting loll. My laptop is the 14-inch 2021 Macbook Pro, and I also use the iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) and Apple Pencil (2nd generation) for note-taking. They're good, but they're not actually 2-in-1s. Depending on your intended use, though, the iPad might be able to act as a 2-in-1 laptop for you. They can do almost everything that a laptop can if you buy a keyboard to go along with it. The only tricky thing is if you need to run special software for your classes because they might not be available on the iPad.

The laptop that I almost bought instead of my Macbook and spent a lot of time researching is the Dell XPS 13. You can buy a touch-screen version of it. The reviews I've seen are fantastic, so I'd recommend looking into it. They do actually have a 2-in-1 version of the Dell XPS 13, and they have the Dell XPS 13 Plus.

as tax season rolls around i hope college students know that H&R block helps you file for free

#i sound like a commercial but no it’s actually important because turbotax #claims to help you for free but then once you get to a certain point (like actually e-filing your taxes or bundling both state and federal #they make you pay a fee) not to mention i got a better overall refund through h&r because i am a student #and they laid it all out so i could understand everything and didn’t just have cool quirky gadgets #but as college students are trying everything they can to save it’s definitely something to look into!#i would recommend people who have experience doing their taxes do it cause there are some clarifications it leaves out if you don’t already #know #but i was just thinking about this and was like ‘wait i hope other people know #eris: text

Like Clara the Witch?

I actually never heard of Clara before this! I oughta do more research on Rayman Dictées, but in my quest to eliminate every human from the series I think she might be one of the fairies that studies under Betilla.

As for other obscure characters I'm 100% certain on, expect to see all of Ales/The Magician's cousins represented in the au!
