hii!! I was wondering if you could write percy jackson x reader with prompt 3 or 7? I know that you wrote an enemies to lovers recently but those are the vibes that these two prompts give me. maybe it can be something else! feel free to do whatever you're comfortable with!! love you, thank u!!
Hidden feelings…
An unexpected convocation from the gods leads to a messy confession behind the closed doors of a elevator…
Prompts 3 and 7: “Wait- are you jealous?” “You wanna kiss me so bad~”
pairing: Percy Jackson x reader
word count: 1.4k
Warnings: none
————————————————————————————
A/n: Hi darling! I deeply apologise for making you wait so long! 😓 In the start I had promised myself I would have written your story pretty early, but then I didn’t have a scenario in mind! So I’m really sorry if you waited like- two months, before getting your request done, hope you won’t unsubscribe because of this 🧡😭 anyway, enjoy your reading!
P.S. I tried making this a bit longer as an apology
————————————————————————————
You couldn’t believe it. You were walking to the Empire State building with Percy Jackson, the famous son of Poseidon, the hero of the Olympus and also your enemy. You didn’t really hate each other, you simply couldn’t stand him because he always took the spotlight on himself, leaving the others with no time to shine. Even if he claimed that he didn’t want all the attention for himself and that he even tried to hide from the spotlight you didn’t quiete believe him. But here you were, walking by his side after a flash convocation from the Olympus, what did they possibly want?
You had tried to figure that out since Chiron had called you over at the big house, but you didn’t give yourself a proper answer. You kept walking and you tried to ignore the glances that sometimes Percy sent your way. “Today the sky is really cloudy” he said in a attempt to try and make conversation “I bet the king himself didn’t wake up with the right foot” he joked, trying to ease at least a bit the palpable tension between the two of you. “I bet that he’s going to fulminate you one day if you keep talking about him like that” you said with a sharp glare threw in his direction.
After walking for about ten minutes more you both arrived at the entrance of the enormous building. “Here we are” you said, and before Percy could add anything else you were already inside the skyscraper.
You entered the building and went straight to the receptionist “600th floor” You simply said, giving the poor employer a death glare. He looked back emotionless “we don’t have a 600th floor” he was doing his job, you didn’t really blame me for it. “Look, you’re talking to a child of g/p and a son of Poseidon so you better let us in-“ before you could finish Percy stepped in, gently pushing you aside.
“Sorry for my friend here, but you see, they are having a bad day and a convocation from the gods really was the cherry on the top, but we need to get on Olympus as soon as possible, you wouldn’t want Poseidon or g/p mad at you because you didn’t let their children up, would you?” He pulled out a confident smile and you rolled your eyes.
The man looked between the two of you before stamping something on a paper sheet. “And what might your names be?” He asked, and you were starting to lose it “Listen here you little-“ but before you could add anything else Percy pulled you back again “Percy Jackson and Y/N L/N, now may we enter the elevator… please?” He looked at the employer expectantly.
He stamped something else before getting up and starting walking “this way” Percy let out a sigh of relief. You and the son of Poseidon followed him until you were arrived “Have a nice trip to Olympus” he said flatly, before walking back to his desk.
The two of you entered the elevator and when the door closed leaned over the mechanical box’s “wall” to catch your breath.
”I’m not your friend” You suddenly blurted out “I didn’t come here to keep you company or anything, I came here cause I was summoned by Zeus himself, so don’t make up strange ideas in that head of yours.” You warned and crossed your arms.
He looked at you slightly hurt “Has a manticore stung you or something? You’re more bitter than usual.” You shot him a death glare but said anything, his eyes had caught your interest, they were beautiful… For Hades, what were you thinking?!
You quickly looked away and waited as it played in the background an old song named “You make my dreams (come true)” by some old singer you couldn’t remember the name of. You wondered who had chosen the elevator playlist, it had probably been Apollo or one of the muses.
You glanced around and found Percy staring over at you, he had a strange look on his face, and you couldn’t quite place the emotions he was feeling. “What is it? Do I have something on my face?” You asked, not because you were actually worried about your appearance, more to break the strange atmosphere that was building up.
He quickly shook his head “no no, I was just looking at you… you’d be even prettier if you smiled more sometimes” he stated, and you looked at him, your mouth slightly agape. You tried to hide the forming blush of your cheeks, but you failed miserably. At that he let out a chuckle.
That only made you blush more, the tips of your ears red from embarrassment. “I…” you tried to come back at him with something, but you just couldn’t, he was too handsome in that moment. “Just shut it, would you sushi prince?” It was meant to be a sort of mocking insult, but it came out cuter than you expected.
You saw Percy take a step closer “Sushi prince?” He ask, trying to be serious, but barely managing to hold in a laugh. “Yeah, cause you’re a son of Poseidon, and fish call you prince, and you use fish to make sushi-“ I looked up at him “you know what? Drop it, it wasn’t that great of an insult” You simply concluded.
“No why? No one had ever called me that, it’s… creative, let’s say” he tried. You gave him a look that said ‘really?’ And them the two of you bursted out laughing. Maybe he wasn’t so bad after all…
You unintentionally took a step closer to the boy, there had always been something that had attracted you to him in the years, but you denied it behind the excuse that you didn’t like him, but oh boy if you did, liked him. But then something he said pulled you out of your thoughts. The elevator had stopped. Why? You asked yourself. Of course it would have been you.
He looked at you “there’s no need to worry, Annabeth explained me once how these things work, we just have to call in the emergency” he stated calmly as he pressed the yellow button. “Annabeth, huh?”you asked him. You couldn’t quite place what was the strange feeling that you felt in the pitch of your stomach when he named her, but you didn’t like it.
“Yeah, Annabeth” he replied and you just stared at him “you and her are pretty close, aren’t you?” You ask, annoyed. Percy just looked at you, slightly confused. “Well, yeah, but we’re only friends.” He stated, and you could hear in his voice that he was telling the truth. Then why didn’t you believe him? “Oh yeah, just friends, got it” you retorted back, and you cursed yourself for not having held your tongue.
He seemed surprised but then… a sly smirk formed on his lips. “Wait- are you jealous?” He smiled like a little kid on Christmas day. You looked away “No…” but your redness was hard to hide now. “You’re jealous! Oh gods, you’re all red” he laughed, and maybe, but just maybe, his voice wasn’t as annoying as you remembered.
“What if I am?” You then asked him, still leaning on the wall of the elevator. He smiled even more cheekily “No nothing, I just think it’s cute” he said, and leaned closer. You didn’t push him away, yet you didn’t lean in.
“Why do you hate me?” He asked “I don’t hate you” you paused “I just think you are incredibly self-centred sometimes” you admitted. “Oh, thank you” he replied sarcastically with a playful roll of his eyes “Just so you know, I don’t find you self-centred, annoying or anything like that, you’re just impulsive” he stated, and he was standing so close…
You glanced at his lips, because how could you not? You then forced your glance back on his. His usual smirk returned “You wanna kiss me so bad~” he teased and then leaned over the wall, pinning you to the elevator wall, but you weren’t intimidated. “So, what if I do, Jackson?” You asked in anticipation of what was about to come.
“Oh nothing” he answered and leaned closer, your lips just a few inches away “maybe I want too” and then his lips crashed onto yours, and nothing else mattered, it was only the two of you, and you wouldn’t trade that feeling for anything else.

”You are perfect”, “shut up”(reader x cable AKA Nathan Summers)
Tumblr media
I wrote this in 2022 or something, I’m kinda proud of it, even though it’s pretty cringe, but I DON’T CARE. CRINGE WITH ME.
Stubborn injured reader x cable (Nathan Summers) one-shot
Warnings:
1-injury, details. 2-cringe. 3-self harm?? 4-magic use. 5-bad writing and editing. 6-self hate. 7-everything.
---------------
You got injured in the last mission but decided on hiding it from everyone, especially Cable... he likes to overreact...
well... it was a long cut on the arm but I can fix it on my own, I don't want them to think I'm weaker than they already think.
it hurts I'm not gonna lie... especially that it's open... fucking hell Acting like there's nothing wrong, "It's strange that you didn't get hurt today, usually, you always get hit" Domino teasing you, "I'm learning," is all you said, "Great because it's about time we arrive in the next mission" looking ahead What.. next mission!! I didn't know about that... shit! everyone got to their position, trying to look fine, "You know what to do, exactly like last time" Cable said looking at every single one of us, “be careful” giving you a glance. heading to your position in the field let's do this! so far everything went well, shooting everything and everyone I see... I need to be good enough for them alright! I can't be weak! shooting the enemy with a strong blast killing 5 at once, "Good shot" Cable said (on the earpiece) Feeling proud of yourself that you didn't notice someone sneaking at you, "dumb bitch" turning around to see one of the enemies that still remains... shit. pointing his gun at you. Fuck... "Throw your earpiece or I'll shoot" he threatened, I did just that, and he smirked. lowering his gun and walking closer to you. what the fuck is happening...
You understood what happened when he touched your thigh... about to attack him "Na, do that and I'll shoot" He kept touching getting higher. what am I supposed to do... I don't know, I am really weak.. see! I can't be alone for 5 seconds without getting hurt! I feel hurt... he took the earpiece from the ground, finally! took the chance and attacked him to the ground, he was strong but the adrenaline rushed through my veins. I can't lose!! finally knocking him out, just now noticing the cut he made on my thigh. so fucking convenient! taking the earpiece "I repeat, back to the plane" Cable said. running there, thankfully it wasn't that deep. the one on my arm tho... it's a different story. "took you long enough,-" cutting her "Shut it!" you said, she was surprised. Domino’s nice to everyone but to me, she defiantly deserved that! walking past everyone to the plane. Deadpool sat next to you, this is weird. "pst... pstt" looking at him, "Y/n... I'm sorry I couldn't reach you in time" he said feeling extremely bad. "what are you talking about" Looking at him, his face turned into a sad frown. "I saw what happened, I couldn't reach you, I’m sorry", "well you saw wrong because nothing happened, plus even if it happened... it's not your fault" looking at the window. he kept quiet then, "If you ever want to talk about it.. you can come to me" why does he care so much... "I... sure.. thanks Wade" the truth is he always had a soft spot for you, after you left running he shot him in the crouch just to make sure... he'll die... slowly you slept for the rest of the flight, finally arrived, heading straight to your bedroom, closing the door behind you, Sigh... finally.. peace and quiet. going to the mirror revealing the cut that had become worse than before... it might need stitches. everyone here has self-healing but me, god.. why did you make me this weak... if I go to the infirmary they'll all know that I got injured for the millionth time.
I got an idea!! what about that magic book we have in the library, it must have a spell in it to fix this mess. going to the library, searching for the book. it was well hidden but I got it, no one knows about this book but me, well.. as far as I know.
sprinting to your room before anyone notices you, "Yn," turning to see its cable, "hi..." He's always scary... he's smart and perfect. he's perfect for a leader... "5 minutes, in the living room" serious as always.
going back to your room and locking the door... I'm not a magician but I'll try.
searching for a spell that will heal my injuries, or at least cover them well enough that I can last for a couple of missions. there's one here... "esaelp dnuow diputs ym Lael!!" the room started to get messy but my wound started to disappear!!!
after a couple of minutes of healing, I looked at my injury... it's not there anymore, running to the meeting... The thing is... it's too good to be true.. right? Next day I felt great pain, coughing... my forehead is burning. on top Of that we have a mission today. How am I going to hide this from them? I'm going to be kicked out of the team, For sure... nobody wants a burden after all... I made it worse than it is.
inspecting the injury, it looks purple. reading through the book again... shit! (when used be cautious of your intention, if it was spoiled you will be punished) reading more (the only way to solve the curse is by doing your fear)
skip "Everyone get ready, 9 we will move" cable was a cold man, he always scared me but I don't want to disappoint him... bandaging the wound with anything I got, and taking fever pills. everything felt like a fever dream. while waiting for the others to arrive, cable was there... he was fixing something... focused on what he was doing that you didn't notice that he was looking at you now. he's perfect... like always. unlike me... lost in thought you didn't notice he was walking closer to you. "Yn" He raises your chin to make you look at him. looking into your eyes, almost like reading my soul. "Are you alright?" concerned about me, is this one of the spells jokes? "Yn," he said again, "is everything alright? you look pale"
"I.." suddenly hearing some whistling, it's Wade "DAMN we're late for 5 minutes and this happens wow," Deadpool says while Domino smirks he got off, "let's go" serious like always, I'm sure what happened was a hallucination. my fever is getting worse... after arriving and everyone going to their positions, trying to do your job but your vision is getting worse... 5... I killed 5 so far. 2 are standing... "Yn! Kill them NOW," looking at them, trying to point. thankfully you killed them. sitting on the floor, more like falling on it. your breathing is unstable...this is too much... losing my vision too. "Yn, we need you, Move!"... no response so much pain... should I just end this pain myself or wait for anyone to do it for me, anything would be better than this torture. "Yn! Respond!" does he only know my name or something? fuck this shit! without a thought you started pointing the gun at your head, what the fuck am I doing! is the spell responsible? but overall I can’t stop... maybe... it will be for the best... slowly pulling the trigge-, tackled on the floor. "YN! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU" Cable said furious, looking at him clueless.. your head hurting. he took you immediately, carrying you to the plane. everyone asked what happened but he kept quiet, kicking everyone out. taking off your clothes to check for injuries to find unexpected, cuts and deep wounds.
this is not new! this is obviously old, “What the actual fuck yn, why would you hide something like that!” feeling hurt, do they not trust me? he fixed all your wounds and waited for you to wake up, you had lots of explaining to do. --- "I don't want to disappoint you..." "You never disappoint me Yn" "You are perfect, I don't deserve your care" "Shut the fuck up" Happy dumb ending.
---
as I said, I’m sorry for this cringe.
if you have any tips for me please don’t hesitate to tell me!
please reblog 💜
Thank you for reading

Born Stubborn - Indiana Jones X GN Reader
Tumblr media
Title: Born Stubborn
Indiana Jones X GN Reader
Additional Characters: N/A
Requested
WC: 1,610
Warnings: "fighting", arguing, both Indy and the Reader are super stubborn, slight angst, and fluff
You stared up at Indiana with a hard glared, arms crossed as you tapped your foot. Indiana just stared right back at you, his own arms crossed; a smirk on his face. Oh, how you wished you could wipe that smirk right off his face. You had been fighting with Indiana all day, and it was stupid. Really stupid. But you weren't backing down. Not now. You were winning this argument once and for all.
"This is stupid, Indy. You know I'm right." You tried to reason with him, standing toe to toe with him, ignoring the height difference.
"A hot dog is not a sandwich!" He shot back. "It's a-"
You raised a finger in the air, interrupting him, "Do not say what I think you are going to say." You demanded, acting like an angry parent scolding their child.
"It's a taco!" He exclaimed, and you groaned dramatically, rolling your eyes.
"That does not make sense," You stated, tossing a hand in the air, "It's meat on bread!"
"A taco shell is made out of bread, and it has meat on it. Topping too." He challenged.
You blinked, stunned at such an accusation. "Are you serious? Bread, meat, toppings; is also a sandwich. Hot dog equals sandwich... It's that simple," You argued.
Indiana huffed, "But it's so much more than that!" He pointed out. You rolled your eyes again and turned away from him, pouting slightly.
"Just shut up already," You mumbled under your breath, hoping he'd leave you alone soon. It wasn't like you wanted to argue, but it was becoming irritating.
Indiana ran a hand down his face, holding his jaw as he sighed. "Why are we fighting about this? It's stupid." He mumbled and you rolled your eyes, looking back up at him.
"I already said that. If you wo-" Before you could finish, you felt a pair of lips pressed against yours. A little startled, you didn't kiss back immediately, tensing up before you slowly closed your eyes, melting into the kiss. Indy pulled away, his expression sheepish. "What was that for?" You asked, bewildered; beyond flustered.
He shrugged, standing straight, "One way to shut you up, sweetheart."
You gaped at him, "Indy, I am trying to have a serious conversation with you. You can't just kiss this better." You scolded as Indiana just continued to smirk down at you.
"Oh, I disagree. Isn't that how that last argument ended?" He asked, and you huffed.
It was. And you hated how Indiana was right. You couldn't count how many times he persuaded you with a simple kiss. It was unfair, it wasn't your fault that his kisses were like magic; relaxing you instantly. It was like he was a flipping siren with that kiss of his, instantly making your mind all numb and fuzzy. You could remember when you once fought on the topic of if pineapple was allowed on pizza.
There was never a conclusion for that argument as you just groaned and left Indiana, going to read in your shared room for a while. It wasn't until a couple days later another fight began...
"Oh, no Indiana, we are not doing this." You hissed, trying to ignore him as he stood behind you as you flipped a pancake; you could feel his breath on your neck.
Indiana said nothing as he wrapped his arms around your waist, resting his chin on your shoulder. "I'm just saying, chocolate ice cream is way better."
You paused your flipping to turn your head slightly, "You are evil, Indiana Jones. You know that vanilla is the superior flavor. Especially for ice cream." You argued, turning back to the stove.
"Chocolate."
"Vanilla."
"Cho-co-late."
"Van-il-la."
"Chocolate."
"Vanilla!" You finally snapped, turning around as you pointed the spatula accusingly at Indiana who just stared down at you with a smirk, as you glared up at him, chest raising up and down heavily.
Indy just pushed the spatula down with a finger, leaning down to press his lips against yours. He deepened the kiss, and you couldn't help but melt once more. You clutched the spatula down, wrapping your hands around his neck to deepen the kiss even more. Your heart pounded loudly in your ears, and you felt your knees go weak as he broke away. You watched as he walked away, leaving the room.
Gaining back your senses, you pointed that spatula in his general direction, "Ha!" You exclaimed, "I got that last word!"
"Chocolate!" He called from another room making your growl, clutching the spatula in your hand before you paused, smelling your pancake burning on the stove.
You thought the rest of the week was going to be fine. No fighting about dumb things whatsoever, but no. The world is hating on you right now. You didn't know how it stared, but it did. And, you had no idea how to stop it. You and Indy were simply eating dinner when the topic was brought up. How you've never spoken about it before shocked you.
"Chicken comes first. End of conversation." Indy spoke briefly as he took a bite of his meal.
You paused, the spoon halfway to your mouth, you looked up at Indiana with wide, shocked eyes. "Not end of conversation, egg first. Everyone knows that." You replied and it was Indy's turn to pause his eating to look at you.
"Everyone knows that?" He asked and you simply nodded in return. "Uh-uh." He shook his head.
You sputtered, dumbfounded, "What do you mean 'uh-uh'? How is the chicken supposed to be there if it wasn't born first? Egg. First."
"How's the egg even supposed to be there if a chicken wasn’t there first?” He countered back.
"Ugh..." You groaned and dropped your head. "Why are you so stubborn?" You asked, and Indiana shrugged, pointing his spoon at you.
"I could ask you the same thing, sweetheart." Only for you to lean back against your chair, crossing your arms.
"Born stubborn, and you know it. Egg first... Chicken." You asserted, only for Indiana to open his mouth in feigned shock as he placed a hand to his chest in faux offense.
"Me? A chicken?"
You only nodded, smirking, "You are so keen that the chicken comes first, so you're a chicken."
Indiana shook his head as he stared at you, "Wow, Y/N... Name calling? Real mature." He tsked, "What am I supposed to say to that? You confuse me, really." He finished, only for you to sigh.
You placed a hand on your forehead, feeling a headache coming as you spoke, "You know we wouldn't be having this conversation if you hadn't brought this all up. It's like you wanted this to happen or something. We should be finishing this stupid argument, finishing our dinner, cuddling in bed, and then sleeping.” You said with frustration clear in your voice.
Indy chuckled, shaking his head. "Okay, so we agree with chicken first?" He asked simply, going back to his food.
You stared at him blankly. Did he seriously just say that? "Are you joking right now? Are you completely kidding? Chicken first?"
He smirked. "Yeah."
You were quick to stand up from your seat, hand pressed firmly on the tabletop as you let out a deep sigh of annoyance. Indiana was being stubborn. You were being stubborn. You'd admit that, but you weren't going to let him win. You weren't going to let him have the last laugh. Not this time. Let's see how he likes the taste of his own medicine.
Indiana watched as you walked around the table, an unknown look in your eyes as you bent down, grabbing the collar of Indiana's shirt. Indy's grin faltered slightly as he stared up at you. You glared back down at him and leaned over closer towards him. His face grew pale, eyes widening. Why did you have to be so attractive? Your gaze never strayed off his, you could feel the heat rising in your cheeks, as you leaned down further. Your nose brushed against his as you whispered lowly, "You're going to regret that." You were quick to press your lips against his.
His eyes widened before they fell closed, leaning into your kiss. His mind grew hazy as he felt his cheeks heat up. You've never acted like this, this was new, exciting, and so very different from how you usually acted. His hands moved to hold you by the hips, pulling you closer to him. This kiss of yours was intoxicating, he never wanted to let you go. He wanted to get sucked into the abyss of you. Indy whined lightly as you pulled away shortly after, his lips chasing yours as you looked down at him, both of you breathing heavily.
"What came first?" You demanded, your voice soft and low as you caressed his cheek with your thumb.
"Well," He trailed off, clearing his throat nervously as he licked his lips. "The egg." He said as he leaned up to capture your lips in his again.
You sank into the kiss, smiling in it as you finally won. "Egg eh?" You teased lightly as Indy grabbed your waist, pulling you into his lap.
"Mmhm, you're so stubborn. I love it." Indy muttered, voice husky as he began to pepper kisses to your shoulder.
You ran your fingers through Indiana's hair, "I love you." You breathed, causing Indy to stop kissing you and pull back.
He gave you a small smile, his large hands gently squeezing your waist, "I love you too." Indy mumbled, “Now kiss me or I’ll start another stupid argument.”
Now, how could you say no?

Should've Listened
Tumblr media
It would be best if you listened to Midoriya when he told you to ensure you had everything before going to work.
He made a list, and of course, being who you are, you're stubborn and told yourself that you wouldn't get cold and would make it back in time before the snow got heavy.
Boy, were you wrong.
The snowflakes started small on your walk back from work, just a little flurry. Then as you went on, the snowflakes got a bit bigger until you were just two blocks away from your apartment, and it was a full-blown blizzard.
And here you are in a tiny coat with a hat. You didn't bring your heavy coat as Midoriya told you to and didn't grab the gloves. You mentally kicked yourself. Why didn't you listen?
The snow was coming down so hard that it became difficult to walk, making your trek home longer.
It seemed like it took years to finally reach the apartment you and Midoriya shared, but you made it.
When you opened the door, the wind picked up and made it a bit difficult to close the door. So you had to put your weight on it even though you could barely feel your fingers.
"Puppy? Is that you? I was starting to get-"Midoriya started but stopped once he got a look at you.
You gave him a cheeky smile.
"I-I'm H-ho-home…" You stuttered out. You were lucky you got anything out with how bad your teeth were chattering because of the cold.
"Omg! Puppy! What happened?" Midoriya asked you. He walked closer to you to help you undress. Once the wet, cold clothes were off. Midoriya handed you a blanket, picked you up, and snuggled you close. He was briskly walking to the bathroom.
"Sit right here, and I'm going to run you a bath and get you some warm clothes." He said as he sat you on the toilet.
Like you could go anywhere, your legs were frozen, but it made you laugh.
While Midoriya went to grab some clothes, you watched the tub fill up; it looked so inviting.
"Alright! Here we are!" Midoriya said as he came back into the bathroom. He was carrying your favorite lazy day PJs and fuzzy socks.
"When you are all done. I will have the blankets set up for you with some hot soup, ok?" He asked you. You smiled and nodded at him. He left the bathroom so you could undress.
You stood up, taking off your wet and damp clothing until you were completely undressed, and then you slowly sunk into the water. You were enjoying how warm it felt as you submerged yourself.
You closed your eyes.
This felt so nice; you felt good but also felt terrible. You didn't listen to Midoriya when he was looking out for you.
About half an hour later, you were warmed up and decided to get out and get dressed.
When you walked out to the living room, Midoriya had done what he said he would do. Your favorite blankets were lying on the couch with a tv tray in front of it.
You wiggled your way inside the little blanket cocoon.
"Aww, you look so cute!" Midoriya commented and put the soup in front of you, and he had a bowl for himself.
You said thank you and then dug in. It was your favorite. Everything Midoriya did just made you feel even worse.
"I'm sorry…." You said out loud. Midoriya turned towards you.
"Sorry for what?" He asked.
"I didn't listen when you told me to take my jacket and gloves." You told him. Midoriya smiled softly and patted your head.
"It's ok, puppy; I forgive you. I was just worried, and I don't want you to get sick." He explained. You sniffled, knowing the tears were coming, and you couldn't help it.
Midoriya got up, moved the tray so it didn't spill, and sat closer to you so he could hold you.
"I'm not mad at you, puppy, I promise. I'm glad you're home safe with me. That's all I can ask for. I hope you listen to my advice next time." Midoriya teased. That made you laugh.
"I promise you I will." You told him.
"Good, let's finish our soup so we can cuddle and watch this new movie I bought." He told you, and you nodded your head excitedly and finished your soup quickly.

Okay, I haven't finished the show yet, but I NEED more Cooper content and you did amazingly last time. That being said, I NEED (am asking you politely, whenever you have time and/or wish to write this) Cooper being overstimulated. Pretty please, and much thanks!
- Supervillain-Smut
For you baby? Anything! Have some Cooper being overstimmed and teased just below the read more 👀💦😈
Tumblr media
Of the many downsides which came with the Ghoul transformation, arguably one of the worst which Cooper had long come to terms with was the loss of sensation across the leathered skin which covered his body. A valuable boon in a shootout, it let him focus his attention on the action at hand without worrying too much about the damage, but when the guns were holstered and the cold nights settled in, that same loss of sensation was a right pain in the ass when he was trying to get his rocks off.
Although, it was a reality of his situation which didn't seem to affect her and the wickedly cruel things she enjoyed putting him through on a regular basis.
"Come on, handsome."
Perched atop his thighs as she stroked her soft hand along his painfully hard cock, her warmth seeped into his own as it took every piece of willpower in his old bones to not knock her to the floor and sink himself as deeply into her cunt as he could to get some relief.
But a bet was a bet, and he wasn't one to give up without a good fight.
Already having been pulled back from the edge of release twice, his cock felt heavy and overheated as it jutted against his stomach. A small patch of pre-cum decorated the leathery skin where the livid head of his cock brushed against him with every jerk and slight cant of his hips.
"It looks almost painful, Coop." She mused, trailing the pads of her fingers along the prominent veins which lined his cock - the texture there something he knew she was fascinated by as it often stretched her out in ways that had her muffling her cries into his shoulders. "Maybe we should stop. Give it a little time to rest."
"Promises, promises, handsome."
"If you stop touchin' me, darling, then I'm not gonna be responsible for the outcome." Cooper grunted, the final word glancing up at the final syllable as her soft thumb rubbed a solid line across the ridge where his shaft met the head - a sensation which made his balls tighten and his throat stutter as it fired intense waves of pleasure across his stiff frame. "I'd throw you to the floor and show you things that not even the monsters who walk alongside the worst of them would dream about."
"Tastes like you."
"One I intend to keep, darli-fuck."
Hissing the expletive as her pointer finger teased at his slit, she gathered a small bead of his pre-cum and brought it to her lips. With a salacious flick, she swallowed down the slight taste with a pleasant hum.
Unable to help the grinding of his hips, Cooper bucked subtly into the air as he watched her filthy actions. Those same lips had sucked him dry many a time with such finesse that he found himself going out of his way to perform little acts of kindness for her in the hope that she'd see fit to grace him with another performance.
"Quit teasin' and get to it before I blow a hole in your head and finish myself off." He warned, hands gripping her thighs so roughly that he knew little crescent bruises would soon loom in the area.
Obviously ignoring his threat, her hand dropped to cup at his balls roughly, squeezing and rolling them between her fingers as a growl of pained arousal made his cock twitch, untouched.
"Oh, it's gonna blow alright. But only when you've been good enough to deserve it."
A bet was a bet.
And Cooper Howard would be a stubborn son of a bitch to the bitter end as he twisted his lips into an off-kilter smile and forced himself to relax into her touch.
"Whatever you say, darlin'."

Levi let out a sigh of relief the moment your silhouette appeared through the shadows, tensed shoulders relaxing. He turned his head, all focus shifting instantly to you.
“You.” He exhaled, a hint of exasperation in his tone, indicating that the little time spent without your absence had not been very fun. “Where have you been?”
“Hi. Went to scout.” You answered, reaching the little campfire to stand beside Levi. All your friends sat circling it. Levi’s subtle, not very subtle eagerness at your arrival seemed to have triggered something, making the already guffawing crowd of people laugh even harder. Concluded with Levi’s sour face, it wasn’t very hard to guess what the subject of amusement must have been.
“Oh, are we bullying Levi again?” You beamed, nudging Levi’s leg with your foot, signaling him to give you space. “Scoot over. I want to join too.”
Levi shot a glare, but shifted to let you sit beside him. As another wave of laugher sparked through your friends, you plopped down on the grass, folding your legs. It was a chilly night, and everyone wanted to stay near the fire, therefore, the circle was so tightly formed around the fire, you could barely squeeze yourself between Levi and Nifa.
“Sit on my lap, why don’t you?” Levi grumbled, scowling and squirming a little at the close contact.
“What? It’s cold. And you’re warm.” You said as you sat down. “What are you so pissy for anyways?” You pressed yourself tighter, curling yourself up against him, uncaring of the poisonous gaze. You’ve learnt a long ago, half of Levi's words didn’t mean shit, that if he actually was uncomfortable, you wouldn’t even be here right now, he would’ve broken a bone or two. Levi’s personal space wasn’t something he let anyone come through, but you’ve been an exception for that for a long time.
And he was warm. A warmth that surprisingly only the cold, cold man was capable of.
And as always, the low protest died soon and he adjusted to let you lean against him.
“Hange.” He muttered, answering your previous question. “They’re trying to convince people to marry me.”
“Wonderful.” You grinned, “I volunteer.”
“I hate you.”
Cue for a very drunk Hange cracking up again, leading the others to join in. Even Erwin, ever regal and solemn, couldn’t seem to be able to hold the small smile from forming. With Hange’s contagious laughter and Levi’s scowl, it was impossible to.
“Oh why’d you let Hange drink again?” You laughed, watching them as Moblit struggled, trying to pry the bottle out of the section commander's grasp. “They're gonna be terrible to deal with tomorrow.”
“They insisted it was one sip.” Erwin said solemnly.
“Well, that sure seems like one sip.”
“But seriously though,” Nanaba piped in, shoulders still shaking with the waves of laughter. “Levi’s got all that spunk, but no bitches.”
“Stubborn shortie-” Hange's voice was cut of as they hiccupped
“Shut up. All of you. Please.” Levi sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “
“Point stands. In your mid-thirties, Levi. How long are you going to wait?”
“Why,” He huffed. “Are you people so insistent on analyzing my personal life every damn time? Do you not have anything better to do?”
“Only well wishers.” She gave him a smug smile. “That’s what friends do, they care for each other.”
“No. You just want to give me shit.”
“Well, that too.” She shrugged.
“Iffff—if anything,” Hange stumbled in, rubbing their eyes. She glanced at you pointedly. “You could at least date her. That’d be nice.”
“So I keep telling him.” You feigned a disappointed sigh.
“Don’t fucking egg them on.” He hissed, face heating up at the suggestion. How could they even think it’d work out? He thinks, against the thoughts tugging. Ridiculous. They were ridiculous. You were just as ridiculous. So what does he do with this ridiculous fucking feelin–
“Oh but look,” Hange leaned forward, squinting to watch the two of you, their glasses reflecting off the fire and casting shadows on their face. “ Do mine eyes deceive me or is Ackerman over there blushing?”
“No.” The denial was quick. A little too quick.
“I confirm.” Nanaba smirked. Miche grunted.
“No.”
“Oh, Levi.” Erwin’s eyes glimmered amusement.
“I will hit you. Don’t even go there.”
The roar of laughter only grew louder.
And the night rolled on, the nonsense bickerings and banters continued. Friendly faces and friendly voices, joking and teasing and laughing without a care in the world. Bottles clinked, the firelight glinting on them. At one point, you and Hange started singing some stupid song you’ve heard in the fair, rocking back and forth with the music. And you weren’t certain, but you could swear there was a hint of melody even in the wind blowing by. And it was cold, but with Levi beside you, you were okay. But that was okay, it was okay. More than okay, really. The happiness was overwhelming.
.
“You know,” Hange called out suddenly. They had taken to fully sprawl out on the grass. They’d been quiet a while, and you had thought they must’ve passed out, but appears not.
Everyone turned to look at them.
“This is nice isn’t it?” They mumbled, blinking up to the sky. “I mean, sure, we might die tomorrow, but this is nice. I wouldn’t really mind dying.”
“You know, what would’ve been nice, Hange?” Nanaba said, watching Hange. And despite the words itself, she was smiling. “To not mention death.”
“I know but,” Hange sat up, grinning. “This is not too bad as a last night of your life right? I wouldn’t mind.”
And for a second, no one spoke. Perhaps, it was because all were drunk more or less but that hit harder in that moment. Unsaid words were spoken in silence, the wind carrying the oaths away. And even Levi’s eyes had softened.
Only Hange could say words like that with that face, you thought. You weren’t sad, not really. Because Hange was right. Being a scout meant learning to appreciate every breath you can take, and nights like this were as good as they’d come.
“Aww Hange.” You sighed, grinning back. “Cheesy much? You’re making Levi all squirmy.”
“No, I am not—” Levi’s protests were buried as the group jumped in yet again another session of Levi leg-pulling.
But despite it all, Levi thought.
Pissheads, all of them were. But nevertheless.
He watched you with the corner of his eyes, watching you as you laughed your head off to something Eld said, shoulders shaking, the firelight making your eyes glitter. And you were so close, so close, he could hardly breathe. And the urge to wrap an arm around you, to pull you closer. To feel you against him.Would that be so wrong of him? If he leaned close, would you pull away? But it’s okay, he thinks.
Hange was right.
It’s okay if he dies tomorrow. He wouldn’t really mind.
He didn’t really mind right now either.
He finds it strange that he didn’t really mind it. Any of it.
He didn’t mind Hange or Nanaba or any of them.
He didn’t mind your stupid little jokes, clearly made with the intention to piss him off. He didn’t really mind that you were so close. He didn’t mind that your head on his shoulder. He didn’t mind a lot of things that he thinks he would’ve minded if it was anyone else but you.
He doesn’t really know how it works. He doesn’t like thinking about the strange little feelings in his heart that tugged everytime you smiled, or the way his stomach tightened whenever you flirted with him so casually.
And maybe one day he’ll tell you. Maybe he won’t
Does it matter? Is it not enough to only have you alive and close?
He’s here now. With everyone and with you.
He’s home.

That scene where Megamind and Minion fight and minion says “good luck on your date”
“I will”
“That doesn’t even make sense!”
“I know!”
This is so much more than I thought and I fucking love DreamWorks
Throughout the movie Megamind values wit - tries to train Titan to have witty comebacks, provokes and asks for it in their first battle, fuck that fantastic “oh you’re a villain alright, just not a super one”
He’s so good at bantering but it all crumbles when he’s actually, truly fighting with someone he cares about rather than views as a game partner
Anyways I’ve been trying to sleep for 3 hours and am about to rewind Megamind again. We’ll see if I notice anything else again.

✯ My Masterlist ✯ Read on AO3 ✯
Tumblr media
Once the adrenaline of your latest brush with death subsides, your focus immediately pivots to caring for your Mandalorian companion. Although the heightened emotions leaving your body render you a trembling, shaky mess, your priority is to ensure his well-being. Maker knows he will never take care of himself.
As you approach the Razor Crest, you mentally scan yourself for painful areas. Casting your mind back towards the encounter as you try to recall anywhere you could have been hurt. After all, you will struggle to assist him if you are not healthy.
You recall that you had taken a couple of painful blows to the side during the skirmish, but your clumsy assailants had fortunately missed all of your vital organs. Aside from a pounding heart and dry mouth, you have mercifully made it through the ambush unscathed.
Satisfied that there are no immediate areas of concern to treat, you turn your attention towards Din. You cast your mind back over the altercation, towards any wounds he may have sustained. It is easier said than done, considering how many of them leapt out of nowhere and caught the two of you off-guard as you walked through the thick forest towards the ship.
You remember how many of them Din fought off with his bare hands. Well, through his gloves. Still, you know they will have provided scant protection, so you are keen to check them for injuries.
You momentarily struggle to remember what happened after Din had seen most of them off as you crouched behind a bush, hiding.
Then, you recall how one of your assailants had slashed at Din’s hands when he grabbed the remaining pair of them around the throat. It had been a frenzied attack, which momentarily worked as his grip loosened. Just when you had feared that all hope was lost and they were going to escape, Din brought his boot up to deliver a swift kick in the stomach to the slower of the duo, which sent them careening into each other.
Din had used many parts of his body, as well as all of his wits and expertise as a warrior to see your attackers off. He had done a formidable job, considering how much they had taken you by surprise.
Still, the state of his hands concern you.
You are pretty sure they sustained the most severe damage. Plus, as they are vitally important for everyday function, treating them takes priority.
It is settled... Din’s hands are the first area you will treat.
If he will let you, that is.
Your Mandalorian companion does not possess a reputation for being the easiest man in the galaxy to take care of... a willing patient, Din Djarin is not.
As the two of you ascend the ramp up to his beloved ship, you hope for both of your sakes that he makes this process as painless as possible.
“Din, sit down and let me get the medkit,” you order when you finally enter the familiar old ship's hull.
“Let me initiate the launch sequence first,” Din stubbornly responds.
“No,” you reply, shaking your head as you fold your arms, glaring at him.
“Fine,” Din mutters in annoyance.
It seems your sternness has done the trick.
Din perches atop a crate as you grab the medkit in preparation to treat his wounds. You hope he does not make it harder for you than necessary. Din has never made any secret that he is comfortable being fussed over. You are no stranger to the fact that he hates being taken care of like this, but if you do not tend to his wounds, you know he will never do so himself.
“Your gloves,” you nod towards the two-toned leather which covers his hands, “Take them off, Din.”
Din sighs and lifts his gloves beneath his helmet, seemingly biting at each finger to loosen them before repeating the process with his other hand. You feel like a voyeur and wonder whether you should turn your head and look away, as though his gloved hand disappearing beneath his helmet is somehow sacrilegious. Despite your inner turmoil, you cannot help but watch, unable to tear your gaze away until finally, he slides the gloves off and bares his flesh to you.
It is not the first time Din has removed his gloves in your presence, yet you still feel a thrill travelling across your body at the faintest sight of his skin.
For Din Djarin’s bare hands provide you with the tiniest peek at the man that lies beneath the cold, hard beskar. To catch a glimpse of the human side of the formidable warrior, the side of him you yearn to know entirely.
You remember how stunned you had been the first time he had removed his gloves in your presence while he was repairing a blaster several months ago.
You had been sitting elsewhere in the hull as he worked at the bench, tools spread out as he dutifully performed much-needed maintenance on one of his many beloved weapons.
A grunt of frustration indicated that the parts had been far too intricate to repair with his cumbersome gloves. So, he had pulled on each finger one by one, tugging them off. Seemingly uncaring about baring himself, even ever so slightly, in your presence.
You had tried your best not to look, but you had been unable to resist sneaking a glance at who he was underneath his armour. Although for the most part, you kept to yourselves, there was no lingering frostiness in your dynamic. You and Din were amicable, possibly even friends... if he could even have such a thing.
That day, you watched as his hands meticulously repaired his blaster. You noticed the smattering of dark hairs across the back of his hand, the surprisingly tanned skin and the calluses and scars which littered the back of his hand. It was a fascinating glimpse into the man who hid so much of himself from you, yet you still felt you knew enough about him to believe he was, deep down, a good man.
Your mind ran wild with so many questions. Was his skin a similar colour elsewhere on his body, or was it tanned because his hands were the only parts of him that saw the sun? Did the dark hairs on the back of his hand mean that the hair on his head–if he had any–was a similar colour?
They were questions you knew you would likely never get answers to. Nor did you expect to.
When Din had hired you to care for The Child and attend to maintenance on his ship, he had informed you of the rules regarding his armour and helmet. He would remove neither his helmet nor armour in your presence. You were never to question the reasons why or attempt to subvert this stipulation in any way.
That was why glimpsing a sliver of his skin had thrilled you. It had exposed the man you had been yearning to see in a way that was not a violation of his Creed.
Yet, when you see his hands this time the circumstances could not be more different. Neither could the emotions Din’s bare hands provoke in you.
Rather than feeling a thrill at the sight of his skin, now you cringe when you see the wounds that litter his flesh. His knuckles are split and bloodied, contusions that will surely colour shades of blue and black before eventually healing. There are also angry red gashes in all directions, a result of the bandit’s vibroblade making contact with his hands.
You steady yourself, mentally preparing for the gargantuan task of providing first aid to a stubborn Mandalorian. Din values all you do for him. You are certain of that fact, even if he does not often vocalise it. Still, having someone take care of him is an uncomfortable prospect for a man who has spent so long leading a solitary, nomadic existence.
When you finally take his calloused, yet soft, skin in your hand, Din sucks in a harsh breath at the sensation. The sound is amplified and crackles slightly through the vocoder. A reminder that, although he has bared some of himself, he is still mostly hidden from you. He feels like more machine than man sometimes.
You take a bacta wipe from your medkit, and the antiseptic’s sour smell lingers unpleasantly in the air. You hold Din’s hand still, as you carefully bring the wipe towards his skin, your brow furrowed in concentration.
“This is going to sting,” you murmur apologetically.
Din nods. You hear him inhale deeply as he braces for the first contact with the remedy. You prepare yourself to be as gentle as possible, not wanting to make the process needlessly painful for him.
At the first touch of the bacta wipe against his bronze skin, he jerks away from your touch, groaning slightly in pain at what you are sure is an uncomfortable, stinging sensation against his cuts.
“Hold still,” you sigh, flashing a disapproving glance in what you hope is the direction of Din’s eyes, hidden by his helmet.
“Sorry,” he huffs.
You cannot help how your lips curl upwards at the sight of him sulking. This hulking man, all broad shoulders and gleaming beskar, reduced to a wounded child. You wonder if he is pouting beneath his helmet.
Din flinches again when you resume your task, but this time, you do not chastise him. Instead, you are thankful that he is not making this any more difficult than it needs to be.
At least he has not told you he can look after himself.
Content with his behaviour, you diligently tend to Din’s wounds. You ensure each one is cleaned thoroughly with the bacta patch and then wrapped in a bandage. It will take a few days to heal, but he will have plenty of time as you hurtle through hyperspace towards Nevarro again. Unfortunately, it will mean he likely has to refrain from being the hands-on father you know he loves to be.
When your task is almost complete, you move to sit by his side on the crate. You need to steady your hands by placing your elbows against your thighs as you wrap a particularly nasty wound, which already streaks angry red tendrils across two knuckles.
Din groans again in pain, and you quickly reassure him, “Almost there,” you whisper encouragingly.
With the task finally completed, you cannot resist gently taking his hand in yours. Ostensibly, to check him for any wounds you have missed. In reality, it is borne out of a selfish desire to feel his skin against yours. Precious contact you had been yearning for since you first laid eyes upon his skin all those months ago.
If Din notices the way you subtly lace your fingers with his and hold his hand in your lap for a few moments longer than necessary, he does not say a thing. Only when you disentangle your fingers from his grip does he speak again.
When you move to stand up from the crate, he places his arm across your stomach to stop you. You look at him questioningly, wondering what is going on beneath that bucket of metal.
“Thank you,” Din finally whispers, voice thick with emotion.
You move to open your mouth, to respond. Before you can, Din’s deep voice cuts through the stillness.
“For everything… I…” Din pauses, sighs deeply, then continues, “I appreciate everything you do for me.”
You simply nod, too taken aback to speak. It is unlike Din to be sentimental or emotional, not with anyone other than Grogu. It is part of what makes him such a respected and feared hunter. Yet, here he is, confessing his appreciation for you. It causes hotness to creep up your neck and face, embarrassed by his earnestness. Desperate to respond, but not entirely trusting that you can keep it together.
“You’re worth it, Din,” you smile, daring to believe that this moment will change something for the two of you. You hope he will finally realise the depth of the feelings you hold for him; that you have always held for him.
As you take his hand in yours once again, you sit back on the crate. You take up a more comfortable position and daringly lean your head against his shoulder. The pauldron is bitingly cold beneath your cheek. But with how warm your skin suddenly feels at his words, it is an altogether welcome sensation.
Din noticeably inhales at your gesture, and you momentarily fear you have hurt his tender skin. Until he relaxes once again and squeezes your hand as best as he can considering his injuries, a reassuring gesture that soothes your worries.
As you sit there holding hands in the relative darkness of the hull, you imagine a shooting star passing somewhere far in the skies above.
You wish on it and dare to dream that, one day, Din Djarin will love you, too.

I cannot stop thinking about how much Leo would adore domesticity help
Fuckin.... dishes. Cleaning the table after a family meal, his family in the next room all happy and full, and seeing you wash a plate off in the kitchen, and he just implodes a little. Any time you offer to clean up he's right there with you, wiping up crumbs and collecting dirty lasagna dishes from the stove and packing up the leftovers. It's like meditation and a little like cocaine, he thinks, the way he doesn't think he'll ever get enough of the way you look doing something so normal. He's microdosing on a normal life, and then you crack some dumb joke neither of you will remember in five minutes but he'll remember the warm, bubbly feeling that goes with his laugh until the day he dies.
Laundry, too. Folding your towels so you don't have to, thinking about how nice the warm, soft fabric feels on his hands, thinking about how much it feels like your smile. Looking up at you from across the pile of freshly-dried clothes and trying to match the way you fold your shirts and letting out a sheepish laugh when you try not to laugh yourself at his attempts.
Straightening up, scrubbing surfaces, organizing clutter, fucking cooking (which is a whole other post)- he just eats up every second of it, because it's safe. It's calm and comfortable. You're letting him into your life or helping him with his, you're taking care of a problem together, you're a team, you're his partner.
And when you let him help you? You're tired from work or dealing with a flare up or depressed or overwhelmed and you let him break down the boxes littering your floor and pick up the dishes that seem to multiply every time you blink? You trust him with your things enough to let him take over part of your to do list? His ass is in heaven. He hates that you're not yourself but he fucking loves feeling useful and he wants nothing more on this planet than to be useful to you.
Then he's hit a wall some time, right, he's exhausted and stressed and can't take one more instance of bullshit or he'll just crumple like a tower of blocks, and you offer to take care of some task for him. Maybe it's just making his tea or maybe it's putting equipment away in the dojo or maybe it's being an extra set of hands for Donnie in the lab so Leo can meditate instead. And this man feels it physically. It's like a hot bath or that perfect stretch after he wakes up. You put a hand on his shoulder and he looks at you and you smile, and say I got it, and he gets hit with such a strong wave of I love you that he has to take a second to get himself together.
In summary Leo's an acts of service bitch and in this essay I will-

College!Mingyu – Ghosting and Balloons
Tumblr media Tumblr media
no bc college!mingyu as someone who lives down the hall from your dorm and you always run into him doing something questionable [College!Mingyu Masterlist]
Tumblr media
He hasn't replied to her texts.
He always replied to her texts. Even if he was busy — reacting with a heart or the !! feature Apple had so kindly coded into their imessage.
What could he possibly be so preoccupied with that he can't even bother leaving her on read – her message staying on delivered.
She knew he wasn't at practice.
It was Saturday... at 8pm.
There was no reason for him to be ignoring her either. Even when she was on something, pushing his buttons, he never ignored her.
That wasn't the case this time. They were having a proper conversation right before he had gone MIA. Her last text to him was asking if he wanted to grab brunch with her the following day.
Which was sent nearly 2 hours ago...
Chewing at the loose skin on her bottom lip, Y/n closed out the messaging app; tossing her phone away from her with a groan.
This was exactly the reason why she loathed the idea of having feelings for someone.
She hated how much it consumed her; over analyzing every single word and action that was being said back and forth.
It had only been about three weeks since that God forsaken night. And though she said it herself that their confession's didn't change anything, it did.
Within hours she felt the sudden shift between them. She was welcoming of all his hesitant touches, allowing him to pull her closer against his body whenever they stood, not bothering to bat an eye whenever he played with her fingers — pinching the tips as he babbled on about his day.
More importantly, the shift in the way they talked to one another.
The banter still remained, not letting a single minute pass without teasing him about his spelling errors or his lame jokes he would send over.
But she also have taken notice how much softer his voice has become whenever it was just the two of them. The first time she heard that tone, her knees nearly gave out from under her — grabbing his upper arm to stabilize herself.
Just as her brain was about to conjure the worst case scenarios possible – ones that included Mingyu ignoring her for someone else.
Some other girl.
The familiar assigned ringtone began to blare loudly from her phone.
"Yes?" She answered with a sigh.
"Come out." She couldn't see him but she could tell he was smiling – brightly. He always did seem to be smiling a little to wide whenever he was on the phone with her.
"No."
"Wha– Y/n please."
"No."
"Is it because–"
"Yes." Y/n replied shortly.
She did say she had standards, and though he ticked off many of her boxes; she was sure she wasn't going to let anything slide.
Even if it was petty. It wasn't like she wasn't going to give in anyways. She just wanted to give him a hard time.
Like she always has done.
"Y/n," Mingyu's voice softened. She could tell his smile had faded. "I'm sorry, but if you come outside you'll understand why I wasn't able to answer my phone. So please just humor me this one time?"
Damn him and that stupid voice.
"Fine." Y/n grumbled, hopping off of her bed – bounding for their dorm building's exit.
She didn't know what to expect but it was definitely not Mingyu leaning against his car... holding a bouquet of tulip balloons.
This still didn't explain why he had left her on delivered for nearly three hours.
"You've got pollen allergy and I uh– wanted to ask you something." He answered her silent question.
Her frown remained as she stood a few feet from him, debating whether she would give in to his kind gesture or continue with her stubborn act.
"Would you be my Valentine?" Mingyu held out both his arms, a small pout on his face – he was hoping that maybe it would make up for going awol the past few hours.
And god was he right.
"Valentine's day is next week." She bit back the smile as she took the balloons from his hand.
"Tiktok said I should ask before the fourteenth and I– the stupid flower legos were sold out and so I thought maybe this would be better but then it was so hard to make because they kept popping and I–"
Y/n couldn't help but giggle at his quick rambling, watching him shift his weight from one leg to another in nervousness. She could clearly see how he was regretful of his actions – and considering how well the bouquet was put together, there was no doubt he had gotten too preoccupied with trying to make sure that it came out perfect.
"Yes."
"Oh thank god." He let out a sigh as his shoulders dropped. "I'd love to go get brunch with you, by the way. On one condition."
"You have conditions now?"
Mingyu nodded. "Dinner? On me?"
"Gross." She stuck her tongue out.
"You're gross!" He gasped, instantly catching on to her joke. "Unles– Ow okay ow!"
"You're insufferable, you know that?"
"This girl I'm talking to have mentioned it once or twice."
"That girl also said she's close to ghosting you."
Mingyu shook his head. "No, I just spoke to her and she said she's actually head over heels for me."
"Is she a gymnast?" Y/n replied without missing a beat, earning yet another pout from the boy.
"I don't like this game."
"Let's go, lover boy." She snorted, getting on her tip toes to plant a quick kiss on his cheek before letting herself into the passenger seat. "I want sushi."
Mingyu stood dumbfounded in his spot, feeling the heat of her lips linger on his skin – reaching up to touch where she had made contact with him.
Maybe he needed to make flower balloon bouquets more often

Guess what? I've got more Jamil x reader for y'all. You can also find this on ao3. No warnings, just 866 words of kinda fluffy(?) caretaking stuff with gender-neutral reader.
At this point, you know Jamil’s schedule almost as well as he does. So, when you have the chance, you head to Scarabia’s kitchen, hoping to spend some time with Jamil while he and the other students prepare dinner.
However, when you enter, it takes you but a moment to notice Jamil’s uncharacteristic fumbling and the tired look in his eyes. The way Jamil’s chopping the vegetables has you worried about him cutting himself with that knife he’s usually so adept with, and it seems it’s only force of habit that’s keeping him on track.
You frown, and when your eyes meet Jamil’s, you can already see him put his guard up.
So he knows what state he is in, huh? And still, here he is.
It seems Jamil is reading your thoughts, all of him telling you drop it before any words are even said.
At least he still lets you lean in and give a quick kiss to his cheek in greeting.
“Hello love. Do you still have a lot on your agenda for today?” you ask, keeping your tone low for at least some semblance of privacy in the busy kitchen.
“Nothing I can’t handle,” is the response you get.
Of course.
It takes a little more pestering before Jamil actually answers your question. Your lips purse. That list is far too long to your liking.
You take a moment to think, juggling your own plans and to-do list against the urgency of the things Jamil mentioned.
“Will Kalim be eating from that?” you ask, pointing at the food Jamil is preparing.
“Yes.”
“Alright, I won’t be touching that one, then. I’ve gotta do a few things but I’ll be back when you’re done here.”
“Don’t,” Jamil says with a glare, clearly aware of what you’re thinking.
Yet even his disapproving look doesn’t have the usual weight behind it.
“Yes. I will,” you say firmly, even as your heart curls inwards with another bout of concern.
Really, when did he get so tired?
And how did you not notice it earlier?
You leave the kitchen before Jamil can protest further, hurrying through the dorm corridors to find Kalim.
Soon you have an enthusiastic – and concerned – supporter for your plans. You have Kalim point out a few reliable Scarabia students to help with a few of the most urgent matters Jamil mentioned – cleaning up the common areas, delivering some paperwork to Crowley, preparing some dorm-wide notices – while you see to Kalim getting his school supplies in order for the following day. You even recruit a couple of third years to help Kalim with his homework.
You’ll see to the rest tomorrow – after all, you do also have a boyfriend to look after.
Your conversation over dinner can hardly be called anything else than an argument – despite Kalim’s best attempts at acting as a moderating force between you two. It is very tempting to ask Kalim to tell Jamil to take the rest of the day off – it’s not like Jamil would be willing to openly disobey a direct order. Still, you really don’t need to remind Jamil of his position on top of everything else that you’re already doing more or less against his wishes.
Eventually, however, Jamil’s had a square meal, the most urgent things on his to-do list are being taken care of, and you’ve managed to drag him to his bed.
“I really wish you wouldn’t push yourself so hard,” you murmur, your arms wrapped tightly around Jamil. You’re telling yourself you really do just want to cuddle, to offer some respite to Jamil. Still, there might also be a part of you worried that if you were to let go, he’d just jump up and get back to working himself to the bone.
Yet, for all his protestations, just the fact that you’ve gotten Jamil to lay down with you speaks volumes of his current exhaustion.
“I can’t just leave my duties, albi. You know this.”
“Making yourself too indispensable, is what you’re doing,” you protest.
Oh, you know it’s not so simple. Not with his background, not with all the expectations and assumptions.
But sometimes you really wish it would be.
Jamil merely scoffs in response to your words.
Still, it is undeniable that he is slowly beginning to relax in your arms, slowly bringing his head closer to yours. His eyes are starting to flutter, too.
“I will still need to help Kalim with his homework, at the very least.”
You wonder who he is trying to convince more, you or himself.
“Amin and Khalil are helping him. They’re basically top of their classes, aren’t they? I’m sure they’ve got it.”
Still, Jamil frowns.
You sigh. He really is not letting go, is he?
“Do you want me to go supervise?” you ask.
And leave you, unsaid yet hanging there right after your words.
“Don’t,” Jamil eventually says, the word barely more than a breath.
It seems he has accepted his fate.
You softly caress Jamil’s hair, listening to his softening breathing.
And when you wake up, wholly unaware of having been lulled to sleep in the first place, it’s to the lightest of touches from Jamil’s fingers.

Never Far From You
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
John "Soap" MacTavish x reader
Sorry this isn't exactly what you asked for, nonnie, but just know I am already attached to this reader and I will be slowburning this prompt. This story is getting unpacked layer by layer. I know you specified Nurses body type but it's never mentioned in this part. I couldn't find a way to casually fit it in with the idea I had but I will make it the forefront of another piece, don't you worry :]
This is also my submission for @glitterypirateduck and their Soap It Up challenge.
Prompt 2: "Do I make you nervous?"
Prompt 14: "I've been looking for you."
Tumblr media
You haven't had to look around corners to check if the coast was clear since high school. It makes you feel childish. Makes you feel like a helpless teenager trying to avoid the prettier girls that whisper and leer when you walk past. You're too old to feel like that.
You don't know if you should be grateful you're not hiding from bullies or be more fearful of the person that's really chasing you.
You don't think you've ever been chased like this before. The girls in the halls never sought you out, and the boys that did only followed to continue jabbing at you as you tried to walk away.
No, this is much different. Too different. You don't know what to do with yourself.
Another nurse told you earlier that someone was looking for you. She gave a knowing smirk, telling you who with a teasing, sing-songy voice.
"Soap MacTavish." She grinned, leaning over the front desk, resting her chin on her hand.
You don't know why everyone thinks you like him. No. No, actually, you know exactly why. He won't leave you alone.
You left one of your patients room—a poor sap going by "Wick" that caught the nasty end of a bayonet—down a few halls to the nearest storage room. You stop before turning the corner, a suspicious feeling bubbling in your gut.
You peek over the corner, met with the rest of the long, bland hallway. He's not here. You don't like the feeling that replaces the suspicion. It's a sinking sensation.
This whole ordeal is eating at you. You know he's around somewhere. Unless he gave up after a while. Took him long enough, in your opinion. Part of you wants to run into him, though, just to get it over with and tell him to fuck off so you don't have to worry about it.
You straighten up again, pulling away from the corner and letting out a heavy sigh.
"So, who're we hiding from?" A horrifyingly familiar Scottish accent said from behind you, low and husky and almost a whisper.
You yelp and whip around to look at him, jumping back a little. Your feet scream to run, but you realize how ridiculous that is. You're an adult, you don't need to run, you're not in real danger.
The way he looks at you is dangerous, though. His eyes are lidded, relaxed as they take you in like he could do it all day. Those striking blues drag up and down your body, landing back at your eyes with such intensity that it makes you want to shy away.
He's so casual it infuriates you. He's just leaning against the wall beside you, arms crossed as he waits for your reply.
"I'm not hiding." You brush him off, tearing your eyes away from him and turning to walk away.
You pause, though, when he lets out a little huff of a laugh, almost a scoff. "Sure." He replied, not sounding all too convinced.
You look over your shoulder to glare at him but he only flashes you one of his little grins, eyes lit up with amusement and brows raised.
A real scoff leaves your own lips and you turn away again and continue down the hall. You suppress the urge to groan aloud when you hear heavy footfalls behind you as the Scot gives chase.
"I've been looking for you." He said, walking only a step behind you.
"That so?" You hum, trying to sound uninterested. Your tone doesn't sway him, it never does.
"Mhm, just asked the lass at the front where they keep the bonnie nurses and figured I'd find you around." He replied easily, and you don't have to look at him to know he's got that smirk on his face.
You hum again, not sure how else to respond. He follows you like a lost dog through the hallways until you reached the storage room. You open the door just enough to slip inside and much to your distain, Soap follows in suit, making a show of opening the door wide and waltzing in like he owns the place.
The storage room is fairly large, filled with rows of files and medications and equipment all broken off into different sections. You wind through the isles and try not to think too hard about Soap's heavy footfalls behind you. It makes you uneasy, fluttery in a way you don't want to think about. You feel like you're being hunted, like a little bunny that pops it's head up at the smallest branch snapping, unaware of the beast lurking just behind the foliage.
You stop walking and quickly turn to him, making him halt in front of you so easily that you think he was expecting it. You don't like that. You're not predictable, damn it!
"Do you need something?" You ask with exasperation, pumping up the attitude and irritation in hopes it scares him off.
You think it works for a second when his smile falters a bit and he has the decency to look a bit surprised by your outburst, but that hope immediately dies when he ducks his head down with a small chuckle that makes your stomach flip. He pulls one of his hands from his pocket and leans his arm on the shelf beside you.
He leans forward just a bit, those overwhelming blues flickering back up to you. "Does there need to be a reason?" He flashes you a lopsided, boyish smile and you feel like the ground is giving away under you.
"You always have a reason." You shoot back, cringing at the way your voice falters.
He notices, eyes looking back and forth between yours as his brows raise a little. "That I do." He replies, voice softer than before.
Soap takes a step closer, back straightening a bit in a way that makes you feel small in comparison. You straighten your back as well, taking a breath that comes in shakier than you wanted. Your attempt at coolness and defiance shatters when his other hand slips from his front pocket and slowly lifts towards you.
He's tentative, eyes holding yours and god, you can't look away. His hand lands on the side of your neck, fingers tenderly ghosting over your skin to see if you flinch away. You don't. You want to. You want to slap his hand away. You want to claw and sink your teeth into him so he'll scurry away with his tail between his legs.
But that won't happen. He'll just drag his way to your exam room and whine until you wrap him up, ask you to kiss it better. You almost want to.
The pads of his fingers drag up your neck and across your cheek. His palm is warm against your jaw and you're frustratingly pliant when he tilts your head. His eyes fall and you swallow when his thumb slowly traces your bottom lip.
"Do I make you nervous, hen?" His voice drops about an octave, low and just above a whisper. His eyes flit up to yours and you're halfway through your brain rebooting when you realize he's waiting for a response.
He isn't, really. He just wants to watch you try.
"No." You manage, a small murmur that in no way can be convincing.
He lets out a soft hum, head slowly tilting as he observes you. You feel like he's picking you apart, piece by piece. Pulling back your hardened shell to watch your innermost workings as they turn and click.
His thumb presses down on your bottom lip, tugging it down a little and he can feel the muted gasp you take. He leans heavier on the shelf beside the both of you and his hand drops away from you. A long, almost pained groan rips from his throat and he pulls back to run his fingers through his mohawk and tug at the strands. He drags his hand over his face and peeks at you through his fingers.
His eyes are narrow and hungry before he tears his eyes away again, waving you off. "Bah. Go get what you were looking for, I'll be finding you later."
You try not to sigh too audibly as you take a few steps back, your body visibly untensing as you put a bit of distance between you two. "Right, see ya." You say, a little clipped before turning on your heel and walking away.
Soaps eyes follow you until you turn a corner and step out of his line of sight, the back of his head falling back against one of the shelves with a thump. Run, little bunny. You're lucky he likes a chase.

Levi and Naps
The only way Levi will take naps is with his head lying on your lap while you’re stroking his hair. He doesn’t like taking naps at all even though he rarely sleeps. He settles for nodding off for an hour or two in random places. But now it’s a routine for both of you; once you walk into his office at different parts of the day he knows it’s time for a nap. Sometimes he’ll try to shoo you away but you tell him he can read some paper work while he’s on your lap, which makes him end up falling asleep anyway. Some days he’ll just straight up refuse to nap and you say you’ll just leave but he, of course, would tell you to stay he just won’t nap. But somehow, eventually, he always finds his way onto your lap :)

There's a lot of validity in the idea that older Bakugo is a traumatized pro-hero with major PTSD... but you know what's kinda fucked up to think about? The fact that Bakugo is also a 22-year-old pro-hero with major PTSD even before that, too.
It's almost easy to imagine that things are actually better when he's older (the therapy finally a routine, the trauma long set and on the path to being healed)... and that it's his whole 20s that are spent as a pool of disaster trying to recover from the war(s).
He looks back and barely even remembers being twenty, much less twenty-five or twenty-seven. Barely remembers how little he slept, not at the hands of trying to balance hero work and getting a degree at the same time, but just out of the pure insomnia that came from trying to move on and every nightmare attached.
Hardly ever showering, never shaving (not that he ever grew much of a beard, but the facial hair was definitely there. There's pictures of him on the news with an awkward, grown out haircut and patches on facial hair that make him look positively... immature), barely even eating more than a few protein bars or an energy jelly drink-a day. It's a blur, and his friends are hardly there to pick him up out of it because they're all going through it, too. Somewhat.
It's definitely weird if you meet him during this period. He's not all there, at least, not all of the time. He doesn't really register your interactions, the friendship you extend to him (a younger, or ever older, version of him would've shown you that deep seeded ferocity in response, tried to bite the hand that fed him, even if it were love... but 20s Bakugo... doesn't seem to notice). Even though only one of his eyes is clouded over, the good one never seems to brighten up.
There's definitely moments when the old him shines through: when he's with Deku, when he's in the midst of battle, when he finds out that Todoroki still does a shitty job at chopping scallions. But it's a long time before he's even close to the same, able to step out from underneath the fog of simply surviving and into the sunshine of recovering.
But I think sticking through it with him is worth it.
(It's a weird moment, a happy moment, the first time you realize that Bakugo has changed. That the pouring rain outside hasn't bothered him since he showed up at your apartment. He forgot his umbrella, he's been quite careless ever since the war—wet and shaggy hair frizzed up, cheeks red from cold—but he doesn't seem to mind, with his bare feet up on your coffee table, his eyes gazing out the window. You hand his tea, and instead of gulping it down in one go, letting it burn in his throat, he winces at the heat.
"Tastes like shit," he says, and you laugh because it always does. Just this time, he noticed.)

Pls enjoy this little something!
Lena Luthor x  Fem!R//Word Count: 2, 546
-------------------------------------------------------
"Give our children your dark-bright eyes or your enchanted smile. So that even when we are gone, the world will find within them all the reasons I loved you." -Nizar Qabbani
Kelly put glass of water on the coffee table in front of you and sat next to you on the couch. She put an arm around you, rubbing your back and shoulders, trying to provide any kind of comfort she could.
It had been late at night when you had come knocking at her door. From the moment Kelly had opened it she knew something had happened. Your eyes were swollen?, red and you could barely say a word. You were holding a small bag of luggage beside you with a trembling hand. She practically pulled you inside by pure instinct without asking any of the questions that were swirling in her mind to put you in a safe space. It was her number one priority and she wasn't going to leave your side until she was sure you were alright.
When you were calm enough to speak, Kelly found herself shocked by what had made you come to her in the middle of the night. You and Lena had broken up.
Kelly had known you since she had arrived to National City to help her brother. It had been years ago but she still remembered you and Lena together and how happy you had seemed back then. You were probably one of the most estable relationships she had seen among her friends and it surprised her to find out how things had developed between you two to want to end it so abruptly.
Of all your friends, she was probably the only one who could grasp what you were going through and she promised you she was going to help you sort things out.
"Alex is out in a mission, she'll be back home in a couple of days so you can stay without problem. The spare room is ready." She said as she kept rubbing your back and shoulders. She could only imagine how tired yo would be after what had happened.
"I can't stay." Your voice came out hoarse and in a whisper.
"C'mon, you know I won't let you go like this. It's late, we can get to the problem solving tomorrow."
"No, I…I." You swallowed, gathering yourself as best as you could. "I can't stay in National City."
That took Kelly by surprise. "Let's not rush things, alright?"
"No, Kelly, I can't." You turned to look at her so she could see the determination in your eyes.
"(Y/N), I know this may seem difficult but you need to talk to Lena first. I think- ."
"I'm pregnant." You blurted, leaving Kelly with an open mouth.
There was a moment of hesitation in which Kelly didn't know what to do first. If jump in excitement about the new member of the Superfriends family or hug you because this seemed to trouble you more than she would have expected. Kelly opted for the second option and you let her embrace you, she pulled you into her arms as you let another handful of tears roll down your cheeks.
You would remember that first night after leaving Lena as one one of the most painful ones of your life. Your last conversation with Lena, the way you had left her apartment with a single suitcase in your hand, reaching for someone that could help you, and leaving National City behind to start a new life. Everything had seemed too dark and painful but you had something to pull you forward, someone that was going to change everything.
And so, years later you would find yourself stroking a little head full of black hair with your hand while you held his little body with the other against your chest. Little (Y/S/N), your son, was a little more than four years old. He was the light of your life and you loved him with all your might.
Since you had left National City, it had always been the two of you. From the nine months you carried him in your womb until that moment in your life, you had been inseparable. You had been afraid at first, for him and for yourself. Strangers in a new town, trying to make your own home, with no idea of how family was supposed to work. Things were not perfect, but he didn't need them to be and neither did you. You had made it and you had made something beautiful.
It was also true that you had your own regrets. There were moments when you thought a little too much about the past. About how things could have ended up if you had taken better, or less reckless, decisions. You feared the what ifs, the maybes, and the past that had been left that night at Kelly's door. And one particular ghost still haunted your mind and your heart.
Every time you looked at your son, you looked at her. Black hair, green eyes, and a young mind as sharp as a knife. Now I know whose genetics are stronger, you had thought to yourself with a smile so many times. Of course, if you looked at him you could also recognize yourself. (Y/S/N) was the little perfect combination of the best of you.
"She will have your nose, I'm sure." Lena had told you once, delighted at the thought of having a little you running around the house.
She had been sitting on the floor behind you, with her head placed above your shoulder as you both read the required papers to start the medical process that would make you both mothers. You had leaned back, humming in thought. Your fingers moved through pages and pages of information, trying to grasp as much as you could, amidst the distraction that supposed Lena's breath so close to your neck.
"What if she is a he?" You had questioned with a little smile.
"Then we'll have to think of more names." She had placed a kiss close to your ear and then had helped you read the rest.
It had been years since you had last seen her but there she was, with you, with him, even if you couldn't name her. You had said as much about her as you had been able to to your son when he was old enough to question you about it. Why he didn't a father? Or another mother? Two parents like most kids like him? Because his Mama wasn't ready to come to them yet, you had said, but that one day she was going to, and it pained you to realize how much you wanted for that wishful thing to happen too. And it was not long before it became true.
"(Y/N)?"
The phone had almost slipped from your hand after hearing her voice after so much time.
(Y/S/N) had turned his head away from the TV on the living room to watch you, trying to imagine who was talking on the other side of the line to make his mom make that funny face.
"Lena?" You had answered with a shaking voice.
"It's been a while."
The conversation started as it usually did, with people who used to know everything about each other and ended up becoming complete strangers. An exchange of words, questions and answers that seemed to lead to nothing but the abyss that now separated you from your past selves.
"I'm sorry." You heard her say on the other side with a hesitant tone so rare in her it surprised you even more. "I know I should've called you a long time ago."
"Yeah, you should have." You tried to keep your wounded heart from spilling as you looked at your son.
"Would it be too late if I ask , can we see each other again?"
You sat in the corner of the coffee shop with a warm cup between your fingers, sipping your beverage as you waited. You were nervous. You kept bouncing your leg and looking at the door until you saw her come through it.
It reminded you the very first time you had sat together, in that little coffee shop across the street from the office. You had been dreading the moment she would have to cross the door to meet with you, that if she even thought you were worth her time, after you had asked her to have a coffee with you. You could still remember the little smile playing across her lips when she accepted the invitation and the way your stomach had fluttered when she grabbed your arm, promising to met you after work. Time had passed and there had been no sign of her yet. You feared or a moment she had forgotten, and if that was the case you would not hold it against her. She was a busy woman, what was a coffee date compared to the empire she had to keep from crumbling. Still, you waited and, against all hope and all odds she had come.
Time seemed to freeze when your eyes found each other. She was all goddess looking even after the years you had spent away.
When you finally settled at the table, words seemed to be lost for both of you. Small talk was painfully dull. Another reminder of all that had been lost between you two.
"Lena?" You held your gaze towards her and finally asked her. A question too obvious, maybe, but necessary nevertheless. "Why are we here?"
She smiled, sheepishly and not without a hint of regret in her emerald eyes. "'Cause I was wrong".
The moment you had crossed her door to never come back again was the moment Lena knew what true and complete loneliness meant. An unyielding emptiness filled by shadows and rumors of what life she had with you and she had no one else to blame but herself. She had put her company above you, trying to make it the force of good the world needed and wanted, that she forgot you also needed her and wanted her and loved her.
And when Lena had realized her mistakes, when she had tried to reach you, to bring you back, you were so long gone and lost from her sight that it made her want to destroy everything she had worked so hard to build if that meant she would have you again.
"I'm sorry." Lena's eyes were full of regret.
"Don't be." You shook your head. "You were out there saving the world, trying to change your family legacy and I…I didn't want to hold you back."
"I don't think I would have done most of what I did if it wasn't for you." Her lips curled in a little smile. "We did many great things together."
"Yes, we did." The image of your son flashed through your mind and you swallowed hard. "One in particular, I think you need to know."
You stood in the sidewalk among the rest of parents that waited patiently for the school bell ring. You had not dared to answer Lena's questions about where you were going and why you were there after your encounter but you knew she had surely figured it out by now as you watched her fidget with her hands. Instinctively you reached for them, a gesture that had been so common between you, in an attempt to soothe her and yourself. You held hands as you kept waiting.
"How is he?" Lena asked, her thumb caressing the back of your hand in a nervous tick.
"He's very smart, first of his class." Lena raised her brows in surprise. "He likes big animals, wants a bike for Christmas, and wants to be an astronaut before becoming an Olympic athlete, in all sports." You sighed with a smile.
"Wonderful." A wave of warmth rushed through her, feeling herself proud of the little boy she was about to meet, and a moment of silence passed before she dared to ask. "Why did you never tell me about him?"
"I didn't know how." You took a deep breath. "Back then, you were so focused on being a CEO, on working for the good of the people. I saw how much it took from you but I also understood how big that responsibility was. It's true, what I said before. I didn't want to hold you back. I didn't want us to be a distraction, not particularly after our last fight."
"I'm sorry I ever made you feel that way." Lena turned to look at you with pleading eyes. "I never wanted you to face this alone and I'm here to amends…If you let me."
You couldn't say more as the bell finally rang. You could feel your heart pounding hard against your chest and you squeezed Lena's hand.
"Ready to meet him?" You managed to said.
"I am." Lena nodded.
You headed inside the building with the rest of the parents, ready to pick your son. You reached her classroom in no time, greeting his teacher and asking if your son had behaved during class. His teacher was all smiles when she told you your son had been in nothing but his best behavior. Then she called your son and you watched from the door as he stepped out of his little chair, rushing towards you. You picked him up, holding him in your arms, and thanked the teacher before turning around to leave.
You asked him about his day and the things he had learned that day. He replied with nothing but excitement and you were happy to hear him.
"Hey, I bring a friend today with me." You said after he had finished. "Would you like to meet her?"
"Yeah." He replied with a smile.
You walked through the hallway and there, sitting in a bench, was Lena waiting patiently for you. She rose from her seat once she saw you approach and her face couldn't hide her awe. As if she was seeing a true miracle, she didn't know what to do or what to say, until you were close enough.
"Hi." She said wearing that beautiful smile of hers.
"Hi." Your son responded with his little voice.
"My name is Lena, nice o meet you."
"You're pretty." He said, making you and Lena chuckle.
"What do we say when we meet new people?" You reminded your son.
"I'm (Y/S/N). Nice to meet you, Lena."
"Good boy." You said kissing his temple.
Lena took a look at him, seeing herself in that little face and there was no denying he was hers and yours. A pang of regret struck her heart for all the years she had not known about him. If she had only called after you, if she had called you, if she had tried to contact you sooner rather than later, how different things would have been for you three. But she was there, with you and your son, and that was all that mattered to her.
This time, she promised herself, she was going to do whatever that was in her hands to make it up to you and she wasn't going to waste another moment.
