i love you. im going to put this under a cut bc it will get VERY LONG so. here it is. ultimate ethubs playlist autism (and heres a link to the playlist if you want to listen to it :3)

fair warning a lot of these songs are. love songs. which leads to a more romantic leaning interpretation but you can ignore those parts if you want, i didnt make this playlist with a platonic OR romantic version in mind i just picked songs

OBVIOUS BLASÉ: yeah this song is in the playlist twice FOR GOOD REASON. its the life series etho song of all time you will never find another one like it (it even fits dl but i wont mention that here. sorry). its first in the playlist bc its about ethos feelings on 3rd life because the entire song is about fire and literally playing with matches. i wont go on a 3l etho rant but yeah its very important. the playlist title comes from it! im not gonna bring up specific lyrics here bc they have more impact LATER in the playlist

THE LIGHTHOUSE: bringing back the fire lyrics YAYYYY ^_^ i think this might be the least connected song in the entire playlist but i had to include it bc i love it. just read the lyrics here i dont have a lot to say on them but i really needed to put a song in before bdubs turns red so this one is about them not knowing if this alliance will work out but going for it anyway <3

PARADISE LOST: oh my god ethubs song soooo so so mcuh i have to go through this with specific lyrics because i have to go indepth. this one is right after bdubs goes red for reference

obvious connections here - theyve knwon each other for so long they end up teaming and running in circles around eachother they cant stay away. also "yellow fades to blue" is a reference to a different song but to me if you replace blue with red its about them having the same dynamic as always until bdubs going red messes with it

do i have to. explain this. "cant bring myself to cut ties i know you better than anyone" i cant say anything more. themcore. they cant escape eachother no matter what and they DONT WANT TO

ok almost done with this song but THIS is about how etho is the boogeyman when bdubs goes red. also "will i survive its so hard to tell" screams and cries forever. etho keeping bdubs in the snow fort was "selfish" int hat he SHOULD kick bdubs out but he desperately doesnt want to but also it helps protect him from reds AND gave him a way to get a boogey kill

CLEAN CUT HEALS: im sorry for putting so many songs from one album in a row like this it just. worked out so well? another song about the snowfort split yeah yeah im predictable

they both KNOW they need to split but they dont want to even if it hurts more like this. i dont really have much more for this song EXCEPT the bridge. because while this song is etho pov the BRUDGE.

WITH ME TONIGHT: BDUBS SONG. BDUBS SONG. hes trying to win etho over to the red side hes wants it so badly but it isnt working. ignore the parts about it being unrequited it IS ok it is but not every song is perfect. i think it could be taken as bdubs exaggerating to make etho feel bad though

i wish they had killed eachother at least once so i could make this fit even more but.. well im glad they didnt also. + foreshadowing in that last line about how wanting to be with etho will kill him. i would just put screenshots of more lyrics here too but i dont want to reach image cap by adding things just to look at. listen to the song

EMPTY WITH YOU: [dies][dies][dies]

bdubs song begging etho to go red with him. hes bargaining so much by appealing to how much fun they can have as long as theyre TOGETHER. they could take down the whole server! soooo them so so so them. have cried listening to this one

COME UNDONE: "skeppy this is the third song about bdubs wanting etho to go red" ok and. they fit. theyre good. this one ESPECIALLY because it has ties to 3rd life (on yellow, i couldnt do anything. but now thats im red- im a weapon). also connects to etho being boogey

he wnats etho to go red but hes constantly turned down despite being able to TELL etho wants it too. also fire motifs. endless fire motifs. youll be seeing a lot of songs from this album bc its the most redlife bdubs album ever written

GREENER WITH THE SCENERY: cycles and loops and endlessly going through the same situations without seeing an end.... this song is etho after bdubs goes red for the 3rd time.

etho is frustrated that no matter how hard he tries to get bdubs back on yellow he isnt able to stop him going red again and again but he knows he'll keep trying. also do you know how much i would kill for an ethubs lifeswap that couldve made this so much more impactful but WHATEVER. its still good

BLOODY NOSE: bdubs is back!!! we've reached the river confrontation and life exchange deal.. yeah theres a lot of songs about this too because i feel a lot about it. bdubs knows he isnt going to survive this mission but he also knows its his only chance and he cant back out now because he will NEVER get etho down to red with him, even if he'd prefer being red together than yellow

he LIKES being red and how it feels to have that, even if hes going to die. also the dancing reference to fuel my personal insanity that i might go into some other day. + this song has "even on my worst nights i never stop the sunrise" which i take as a little nod to his sleep thing on hc

MEN ARE ALL THE SAME: oh my god. oh my god. bdubs after coming to terms with the fact he'll die here is bitter towards etho but also doesnt want him to be mad that he couldnt make it back. im going in depth on the lyrics here bc i REALLY LIKE THIS SONG AS A BDUBS ONE

obviously we start with the 3rd life reference because who am i if not a 3l etho insanitybot. hes reminiscing on their weird relationship in 3l and their weird fighting but not fighting thing they had. hes asking etho not to question why he likes being red so much and why he couldnt stay yellow for him and THEN the ultimate hit of the last 4 lines - if you love it then let it go (let bdubs prove himself and win a life back) but he knows etho likely wont be able to find out the full circumstances behind his death. (also a meta reference to how bdubs footage got corrupted. lol). but dont blame him for not being good enough... this song is so much. so much. hes bitter but hes scared and hes resigned

bdubs knows etho isnt going to win this on his own despite being known for his isolation. its easier to leave on a suicide mission than to continue trying to win etho over knowing itll never work

sorry i said some of the songs are explicitly romantic but you can take it figuratively - he never gets to say a true goodbye, forced to pretend he'll come back (isnt it a trope that people who leave on dangerous journeys wont say goodbye because "theyre coming back"? yeah. that)

TAKE IT AWAY: etho doesnt want bdubs to die he DOESNT. he wants to get him back no matter what but he isnt willingly to risk his own safety for it, because he hasnt fully processed that if he doesnt help bdubs hes out forever (i thought we would be together and everything would be ok again). FIRE MOTIFS ARE BACK!

i dont have coherent thoughts on this. take my hand take my life.. also unrelated but even the little intro sample thing fits because to me its etho questioning what he'll do without bdubs

hes dead and hes out forever and he DIDNT WANT THIS he knew he was going off to die but he still tried his best his last words were crying out to etho. yes he made bad decisions as a red and bit off more than he could chew but he TRIED.

it is so hard for me to put how i feel about this song into words. while after 3l its his regret at not winnign and all that hes lost by this point it has entirely new meaning. "ghost, tell me that youll stay" is AGONISING bc bdubs DOES stay as a ghost, the only person in the series to do that. etho knows bdubs would prefer him with that bloodlust. and he knows its HIS FAULT that bdubs is dead, for not just giving him the life right there

they both knew it couldnt end well and they did it anyway. while in 3l etho was LITERALLY playing with fire and got burned in turn, this time merely pairing with bdubs was enough to doom him since they would never stay together forever and now he has to try get over that while still winning. bittersweet... (i didnt win it for you but you didnt win it for me either). yeah take this song away from me

FUTURE ARCHON HEADCANONS

ive been. a bit busy but here we gooo! !! p.s please dont shit on me or say that x character wont look like that etc, this is a headcanon, i think itd be really cool

SUMERU

sumeru has been made out to be this super knowledgable place and theres universitys there and etc. so im kinda going off that. im also imaginging them as a guy so ill use he/him/they pronouns throughout this ^^

itd be really cool if the god of knowledge or whatever he is to be super nerdy, kinda like sucrose? really clumsy and socially awkward yk. constantly trips, stutters over his words, isnt good with interactions, etc

id image sumeru as a place to be lush and overgrown with lots of ruins and buildings if ykwim. maybe a big trading area or marketplace in the middle of everything

i think the archon for this region should be tan? or like darker skinned. theres barely any poc in genshin currently let alone an archon thats dark skinned

id like to see him go from being really nerdy and nervous to really serious quickly, thatd be cool. like one moment hes like "sorry! i didnt mean to bump into you" to talking about an indepth plan

going off the idea that every archon currently has glowing hair i think hed have long dark green hair put into a low pony tail with braids going into it

i feel like hed have similae pants to chongyun, very flowy very loose but also be good for being in the hot/humid weather

Reviewing Discographys: Tommorrow by Together / TXT !

yes I used their full name, it sounds so fancy. Anyway, hey! I hope your doing good! to preface this, TXT are one of my Ults and i will be VERY biased, But i hope to provide as neutral of a review as possible, and i can completely understand why some of TXT's Songs are not for some people. I will also use a different format for this one, since i can go more indepth and focus per album (plus their discography is much shorter than Seventeens T^T) but yeah, Let's get started :D

The Dream Chapter : Star

This mini is such a cheery mini album overall. To know they debuted with such a cheery song when it was slowly getting more popular to do less songs like this makes me happy, since it suits their styles so well. In only just these songs you not only get them showing their cheery sides in both Blue Orangeade, Crown and Cat & Dog, But you also get this calmer more vocal-showcasing tracks in Our Summer and Nap of a star. Nap of a star is the kind of song that fits a mood that is hard to explain yet its so comforting when you need it.

With this mini, I also need to talk about the Acoustic version of Our Summer and The English Version of Cat & Dog. The Acoustic Verision of Our summer is the first version of any b-side i had heard from TXT and yet it still leaves such a strong impression on me by giving the song what feels like a much calmer and more comforting feeling than it already had. and what else is there to say about the english version of Cat & dog , since i mean MOA will bark for that song-

The Dream Chapter : Magic

To think their first comback was this masterpeice. I love this album probably more than I should. It gathers such an intresting mix of sounds and also clear messages together. Firstly Run Away. The MV, The Stage outfits, The award show performances, even the little harry potter references all fit together ever so perfectly. Its also my personal favourite title track. The sound of this song is the kind of sound i need more of in kpop.

The B-sides, for me, Follow perfectly in sound and in quality for me. New rules sets the tone for the album initially with its sound and style. Roller coaster then follows through with the electronic sound that our diamond maknae Hueningkai produced. This is then followed by Poppin' Star, My personal favourite B-side by them to date. The summery sound this song presents makes me so happy, the song is the kind of song that I would immediately place into a summer playlist. This then gets followed by can we just leave the monster alive, which has a ound that compliments Poppin' Star so well, and acts as a another happy song and summery song that works so well to preface Magic Island. Magic island being the more ballad sounding track, The sound makes it a song that even some people who dislike ballads may like, due to its still electronic sound that isnt too slow, yet it still ahas the elements you would expect of a ballad. 20cm has the slower sound you expect of a ballad and also acts as a calming factor before the level of energy in the songs changes with Angel or Devil. The way in which the sound changes to be this more upbeat but also indicates the idea the song presents of choices.

The Dream Chapter : Eternity

when this came out i was so shocked. Honestly the change of concept took me by suprise but it works so well fo rthem. Starting with Drama, God the MV for this song makes me so so so sad. This story being somthing that presents the idea of feeling like your the main character in the story / Friend group but you aren't is somthing that isnt usually explored in the realm of kpop Lyricism. Now the title can't you see me. This song is so different to the others they released prior and it is such an intreting way for them to have diversified their sound more. Following from this, Fairy of Shampoo seriously contrasts this and shows how well TXT are when it comes to the elegent kind of sound. Yes its a cover, sure, but it has the same kind of TXT flare that makes it their own, and their breathy vocals work so well for it. This song also allows for a perfect transition to Maze in the mirror. This song is mosty produced by Beomgyu, but also is written by the entirety of txt. This song really expresses the desperate way in which Beomgyu must have been feeling, as he has said prior that it reflect how he personaly felt during his struggles as a trainee, which makes this song ever more heart breaking. This song is then followed by Puma, which has an extreamly different sound to Maze in the mirror, but also present the idea of escaping but also the hesitation and fear that comes with that, and it is reflected in the power of the song and the lyrics also. This is then followed by the really confusing song that is Eternally. As a new moa i found this song so confusing. but the unique sound structure is somthing i can admire, as well as the use of this track for the story of the star seekers .*( i might post on this)

Minisode 1: Blue Hour

well say hello to what is, To me , TXT's Dreampop and Disco house era. Ghosting provides this Dreamy yet somehow ironic sound. It sounds so calm and yet the song's lyrics are literally about being ghosted by someone and missing them. This is then followed by the Discopop king that is Blue Hour. The mix of Disco sounds and Yet TXT's own electronic touches from the disco house genre make it the kind of song id happily bop to in the summer in a field. It gives this feeling of "hey ! lets do this!" to me somehow. This is followed by we lost the summer. This song being about how C0vid has affected the youth is somthing that is so important in the lyrics of the song and also the MV. yet it is also somehow slightly upbeat. This is then followed by the brilliant track that is Wishlist. Yes, I tried to avoid overplaying it due to the hype but i love it. its a style i hope TXT can do more of. Way home also perfectly follows wishlist as the kind of song i coud see being played in a cafe and creating this specific sound that works so well with the to round the mini album out. its this slightly dreamy sound that i love so much from them

The Chaos Chapter: Freeze and The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape

this era. I alerady miss it. Badly. Like. The experimental Pop-rock duo of title tracks that are 0X1=Lovesong and LO$ER=LOVER both give a unique concept and an intresting vibe that TXT expreimented with over both eras. Then to start with the B-sides, Firstly Anti-Romantic is Genius. Playing on both eletronic sounds and yet being the balad of the album and going viral on tiktok with 0 influance from hybe or TXT at all is brilliant. Now Magic. Magic is a song i have an odd attachment to due to nostalgia, and the song reflects for my the style of the Producer, Olly Murs. As well as this, It being their first original english track feels fitting for the song, and is such a nice song to vibe to, yet again in the summer. Now Ice cream, well it has a unique style. its calm yet energetic and and intresting too, it feels like a break in the style of the album. What if i was that puma continues the calmer energetic style that feels like it fits in a calmer happy playlist, as well as being a nice call back to puma from the dream chapter eternity. No Rules follows in the style of being a call back to new rules from the dream chapter Magic, and also follows its rebelious nature, also breaking up the flow of the album but in a refrehing way. Moa Diary (Dubadu wari wari) follows No Rules, and, as a fan song, its quite a happy song and it has this sort of endlessly happy feeling that is so nice to hear in a fan song, as well as this, it references their other songs within the choreography. This happiness is then immediately followed by the heavier track that is Dear Sputnik, which was once again produced by Diamond Maknae Hueningkai. Referencing the Sputnik telescope , but also the idea that sputnik also means companion, and the song reflects this also. The song also well showcases their Vocals. If you thought TXT coudn't do a concept darker then PUMA, Look right at Frost. Its a heavier, deeper track that plays well on the member's Low registers, But also works so well to present the somewhat scary souding lyrics, but you never really know how desperate and deep the lyrics are without reading the translations. you will literally be so shocked. The final track is The Emocore remix of OX1=Lovesong, Their is no new lyrics, but just a more emotive and rock sounding intramental that reflects the lyrics.

One hell of a cute OST that also gives me summer vibes

My Favourite Japanese release from TXT and i love how this is structure and Taehyun and Beomgyu's Harmony high note

Love Sight

Traditional kind of Ballad OST, but i love how much it highlights the softness of the members voices

Ito

Such a diferent style of Japanese release from them but i love it and its different kind of, emotive yet calm style

Eyes

I CANNOT SCREAM ABOUT THIS SONG ENOUGH LIKE???? THEIR VOICES SOUND SO GOOD???? AND ITS PERFECT FOR THEM????

Blockbuster by Enhypen Featuring Yeonjun

i am so happy Yeonjun got to go all out with his rap in this track!

This suits these 2 so well, and now i want Alan walker to work with TXT

i'm sorry, what does bi lesbian mean? i've never heard of it aside from people who say it's not a real thing, and i'm kinda confused? can you maybe explain it please?

you dont need to apologize! i dont mind ppl asking about it, bc ik its not a super common thing (at least in my experience!) and i appreciate ppl trying to understand it instead of shutting it down instantly!

usually ppl say its not a thing bc they dont take the time even in the slightest to try to see any reasons why someone may use the label/dont look into the history of how the lesbian label was used for all wlw/or dont even. Talk to bi lesbians. its hard to understand something if the willingness to understand isnt there!

and i dont even mind if someone is against the label, i just dont like them coming to me to invalidate/hate me or speak of the label like its stupid. all i want is for ppl to at least hear my side and take it into consideration instead of just shouting me down and labeling me a lesbo/bi/etc/phobe for just trying to describe my identity in a way that feel best for me

i can try to give a short summary of why i use this label here, but i have mutliple posts (and a few reblogs from others for their own perspectives of this label) in my #explanation tag that go more indepth in explaining it thatd probably be better to look at to get a full understanding of where im coming from bc! honestly! i kinda suck at summarizing things sometimes and im better with longer descriptions to help get my Exact Point down fjkzjfkz

essentially tho, i use bi lesbian to specify that my attraction is teetering on the edge of bi, bc since "bi" encompasses such a wide range of attractions, and my attraction to men is EXTREMELY small, just labeling myself "bi" doesnt feel quite accurate, its not Specific enough, and things like "bi with a preference" dont really feel right either bc it doesnt really put Exactly how Very small my attraction to men is into perspective, like so much so that its very unlikely ill date any men in the future or want to persue romance with them. in addition to this, i also use the label to say that among my small attraction to men, theyre always feminine or androgynous!

Angry Rant About how We Should've Known More About Almyra bc I am Mad

Sure wish we knew more about Almyra bc how the fuck do they apparently go from hating Claude's very existence and trying to murder him to following him willingly even tho he hasn't even been in their country since he was 15/16.

Like don't get me wrong, I love Claude being the Almyran prince and ascending the throne and I know in all other endings but Byleth it takes him a few years- but besides the fact that I'm a Claudleth ho I just think they're incredibly fucking wasted in the story and that ending just makes me think of how little we know.

Them following Claude just makes an odd mix of contradicting everything we've been told about them but also not and it pisses me off bc we are never told clearly anything about Almyra and that would've been the fucking time to show us straight what Almyrans are actually like instead of leaving it all for us to assume and pick up from the small hints we're given.

Clearly Claude is right, they aren't just bloodthirsty brutes like Fódlan thinks, but also, Claude talks about them trying to kill him as a kid for being part Fodlan and that is. Really fucked up. But worse, we're never told something else to balance it out. We just know they hated Claude, shunned him, and tried to assasinate him a few times, and are left with nothing else substantial about anyone outside of his parents and Nader (and even then we know jack shit akshs)

But since Claude himself speaks so honestly about how Fódlan has the wrong idea of Almyra - and all the important Almyran characters we meet are good - that obviously tells us that he's right - but then we are never told specifics! We're just left with "They hated me so much that I developed severe trust issuses and dont trust anybody and had to learn POISONS at a young age to defend myself- but they're good people I swear."

If they're good people (which i believe they are) than Claude or SOMEONE should've told tell us in clear examples, not in vague, beating around the bush sentences bc we can't know Claude's from Almyra. (even tho we figured it out when he and Cyril both say their home values wyvern riding pre-skip)

And by good people I dont mean that they all have to be goody two shoes, "murder bad" sort of folks, they're a warrior society and thats badass and I don't mind that! We fight in a war for goodness sakes im not here to judge them. What I mean, is I want to see what are the good, indepth parts of their society that made Claude look at them and decide "I want to help" Instead of hating them. We are given all the hints that theres so much more to Almyra- but they lead nowhere.

Honestly, it being decided that Claude is hiding the fact that he's Almyran for the ENTIRE GAME until the LITERAL END was a horrible decision bc he never gets to talk about Almyra openly because of it, having to dodge around the topic whenever its brought up and alluding to the fact thru small hints like how they celebrate after fights and their feasts - but thats all very bare stuff that isnt personal. Like yes, they honor fighting and celebrate battled whether they win or lose- interesting shit. Elite warriors fighting atop wyverns is fascinating and i love it. All those things are a large part of their culture- but it doesnt tell us enough. Claude isn't fighting for open borders between the countries bc Almyra throws great feasts- there has to be more to it but we. Aren't. Freaking. TOLD!! i can't even think of another thing to list that isnt related to fighting or their feasts and even those go together. Like, where's the personal accounts to help us understand Almyra outside of what we are shown at face value? Where are they?

The only other Almyran we can talk to for any signigicant length of time is Cyril, who shares Fódlans views on Almyra because he was a kid who lived in the seemingly shittily governed part of Almyra who was orphaned bc of Almyrans fighting and he blames the king for not watching out for them. (Which also brings into question wtf was has the king been doing? All that we know about him is that he opened up trade with Fódlan more than his dad did which hints that he wants to mend the gap between the countries, and ofc he married Claude's mom, but thats it. What has he been doing??) But anyway thats another rant.

Since Claude can't talk about the good parts of Almyra explicitely, bc that would give away that he's Almyran, and Nader is undercover when we meet him, we don't learn any personal accounts about Almyra besides second hand info from Hilda (who is biased) and Cyril (who was an orphaned kid who's scope of Almyra was tbh quite small) so we aren't given enough information to fill in the gaps between -> hating Claude -> Loyally following their new king Claude into battle to defend Fódlan, and it just leaves so many questions for me.

WHATS THE ALMYRA LORE?? WHATS BEEN HAPPENING IN ALMYRA?? WHAT CHANGED HAVE HAPPENED THERE SINCE CLAUDE WAS LAST THERE??

Of course I could be missing a few things I'll admit that, I haven't gotten all of Claude's supports so there could be some lines im missing - but as far as I can remember we just aren't told enough to have it make sense.

And theres so many ways they couldve made it understandable! Just a few lines from someone to help us have a little bit of a grasp on whats going on in Almyra would have done it.

Like, if Claude's mom has been working hard to change the general peoples view by being their queen for years and earning their respect - Boom, there it is! A concievable but brief explanation that tells us whats going on without having to go deep. Heck, could even be said by a merchant so it doesn't spoil Claude's heritage but hints at it in a fun, subtle way so that when it is revealed who Claude's parents are players can go "Oh dam that queen was his mom, that makes SENSE!"

Anyway I'll stop now bc I've been writing this for too long and am tired akdhsh im sorry if you read all of this its been building up for awhile akshs

please feel free not to answer this if it makes you uncomfy, but i was wondering if you knew any good resources/blogs to explain systems? i'm not very knowledgeable about them and really want to know more

so. honestly i don’t have an idea myself. me and my protector have just gathered various pieces of info from ourselves and other systems, and studies / write ups on them over the years. there isn’t much solid info or studies done on the disorder, and a lot in the past have been thought to be false or misguided due to the “what if it’s fake” rhetoric. a lot of the sybil controversy has skewed peoples opinions and such even (if you dont know what im talking about, read up on it)

if you do go searching for info, please keep this in mind though:

not everything is true. this means both that people lie or make up things, AND that not all info is true for every system. sometimes people are rude and make up a fake system for a “social experiment” online. or sometimes something harmless happens, like someone just misdiagnosed themselves and arent actually a system. rarely is there ever someone making up a system for attention, sometimes it happens but ive only ever seen it once and ive been in several levels of the system community for years now. and not everything about day to day life will apply to every system, all our traumas were different afterall

don’t take anything tumblr says about systems as truth. there is far too many fake posts or skewed posts based on opinions to really sift through to find facts about the disorder or someones unbiased experiences. even if you find a post you think is good and helpful, that is a one in a million chance with how “controversial” the disorder is on here

if you are going to look on a medical website, check the date and citing. a lot of sites still call it multiple personality disorder or quote the wrong DSM, which can be misleading and confusing. if a site says anything about multiple personality disorder, cites anything before the DSM-5, or uses tumblr / reddit / etc info as facts, then it’s not something you should trust or take as truth in any way

stay away from comment sections. some videos and documentaries have been made about the disorder, some posted to youtube even. usually if its on a mainstream site though, it has misinformation or degrading terms / language that you should not use as info. if you want to browse the comments for people’s reactions or to see if this is a well informed video, thats fine. just please dont treat everything anyone says as correct or considerate since a lot of people still hate the disorder or find it to be fake, especially when it comes to more mainstream social media

dont ask just one system. if you want to ask a broad question, or are wondering about something, try to get varied opinions. one system isnt going to be able to tell you all you need to know, just like how i shouldnt sit down and explain to you what is right and wrong when it comes to systems. do be considerate of the people you are asking though, systems are sometimes very personal to people and trauma is always hard to talk about

read up on tulpamancy and soulbonding before diving into all this. there is a huge debate on whether the practices of tulpas or soulbonds counts as a system, and it might be brought up from time to time. many people have clearcut stances, many have broad or blurry stances. it just depends. i personally have my own stance, formed because of past issues in the community and because of religious / cultural beliefs. someone may have indepth reasoning behind their stance, some may be more confused. please, please, be respectful no matter what though. a lot of systems dont want antis of each others to interact, or even anti-supporters, so be considerate of that

know your place. if you aren’t a system and you jump into system drama or have a very strong opinion about system issues, it’s going to come off as rude and inconsiderate. being an ally is one thing, but dont speak for or over systems because its something very different and in-explainable for most

we aren’t rude or pissy. even if it seems like it, no system would actually hate you for asking a question. but asking invasive questions, questions about trauma, or personal questions about their alters would spark a reaction. be gentle, kind, and considerate. we have all been through something, and a lot of us arent over it still. systems were created to protect and help the body, if you seem like a threat to a system, they may cut you off or get very angry. that’s normal. don’t get offended or anything, this is all very very personal to systems

“Okay okay, Maxie Give me a sec” i told the dog stopping my horse and tieing him up close to the river so he could drink “Hey Maxie” i tell the dog giving her a stroke and she kept licking me like crazy trying to play still woofing like mad

“Uhhh That one” I tell her pointing to the third card so she flipped it over it was luck “Yes!” I smile happily

“you always get luck” she laughs

“Clearly I’m lucky” I laugh

This is actually part of show me skies on fire !! Bc I don’t get a chance to talk abt the magic system and that thing is so indepth it’s. Yep. So complicated. And I don’t get to rant and I love it.

ANYWAY Witches in the skies world have magic that they imbue in objects!! They can get it to do different things, and layer magic to make the object more powerful, so like, Nami’s weather staff has been imbued with weather magic for years, basically ever since she was a kid. And witches have less instinctive/explosive power than fae but? If their imbued objects have been given enough time to collect power they can beat a fae? So it depends.

Regardless, in Skies most witches form into covens! Bc then they are with people who are like them and they have more power together than alone and can share spells - because witches can create new spells but it’s Harry Potter style spells with specific words and gestures rather than just BAM! power like the fae - and Nami gooottttt. Inducted into one early? Like you’re meant to be able to choose but Nami got…shoved into it so she could get more power from the witches, and the witches she was pushed into joining weren’t the Best (most witches…aren’t?? They are very. “our opinions are right and yours are wrong and to prove it we shall kill people!” Which is. Shitty.)

ANYWAY Luf ended up breaking up the coven and beating people up bc he and Zoro got hired by the townspeople to get rid of the coven and Nami said she was going to tag along with them and Luffy was like oh. Uh. Okay then!! What can you do???

“Steer better than you, probably,” she says, but doesn’t reveal about all the magic she’s shoved into her weather staff for years and years until after Luffy refuses to let her go into a bar on her own to get what they need bc it’s Dangerous and she Obviously doesn’t want to do it.

Vivi’s actually a princess from another land!!! They’re neighbours and so Vivi’s land kiiiind of have fae?? But they’re not like, exactly fae, they’re more like elves? Vivi’s an elf!!! She was meant to meet with the Council to go over trade agreements but they were Dicks and confined her ship to harbour when she got message that her father was in danger and so Luffy + crew agree to help her get over the mountains and the smaller sea to the other side of their land to get to Vivi’s and it’s SUPER dangerous but Vivi is Desperate ™

Luffy is like. Hm. U could help Ace. Cools. and agrees to help her and they travel to the mountains from the sea and Nami is Standoffish bc like….she’s not a fan of nobility??? A lot of nobility drive out peaceful covens and turn them cruel and she’s still…heard lots of shitty tales from her coven and even tho she knows they weren’t trustworthy they were still her family for years??????

So anyway they end up getting all seperated while crossing part of the mountains and there’s this forest that. Literally throws you together with someone/something you hate/fear and vivi and nami end up together and vivi’s like seriously?! after they escape the forest bc she hears about how zoro and sanji had to work together and luffy was all alone and. yeah stuff like that but DURING the forest they’re arguing with each other but also stabbing things and Nami’s trying to fight things back and then like growls in frustration and grabs Vivi and pulls her really close and then. Lets loose a lightning bolt.

And vivi is like WHAT WHY DID YOU DO THAT WHY ARE WE SO CLOSE (why do you look so fucking beautiful with lightning in your hands????????/) and nami just huffs and tosses her hair back and daintly steps over a tree root or w/e they were fighting and is like do you want to die????? bc u would have if you hadn’t been close to me.

And Vivi doesn’t really know what to say to that bc like...she’s still Distracted by. How powerful & gorgeous Nami looked it Wasn’t good for her heart

so we start having like....pinning vivi??? a bit??? who knows she has an Aesthetic crush but nami is an asSSSSS omfg

But like......There’s Robin, Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy and Luffy and Zoro are always talking in shit that no-one understands and Sanji’s....ugh. And Robin is Cool but also not very talkative. So Vivi and Nami end up talking a little bit and slowly realising stuff abt each other and vivi ends up apologising one time to nami and nami’s like?????? what????

“for the nobility. for how you were treated. fo whatever I did to hurt you.”

“You haven’t- hurt me.” Nami goes cautiously, and doesn’t add but you might and knows Vivi can probably hear it anyway when Vivi’s expression softens with pain.

Anyway they reach the sea that separates their land from Vivi’s and!!! Robin ends up being a spy and double crosses them ((but then later ends up double crossing crocodile?? uhhh, lots of double crossing, man))

SHE MAKES OFF W/ VIVI. Nami is Not Alright with this shit, for fuck’s sake, goddamn, sTOP, they were just starting to get along damn!!! it!!!

aND LIKE. STAFF TIME. NAMI USES LIKE. HURRICANE-ESQUE WINDS TO PART THE FUCKING SEA AND STORMS ACROSS THE OCEAN FLOOR BED (in defence of this show of magic like. It’s not a big sea lol)

Nami almost electrocutes Robin but the wind stunt took a lot out of her and Robin dodges until Nami runs out of power and faints and Luffy looks at Robin and looks about ready to fight her but then robin’s just like “sorry, captain.” and he kind of goes ohhh,,, and stays by Nami’s side instead

When nami wakes up it kinda like alabasta except it’s like. five ppl overthrowing the entire revolution/Crocodile in a very blatant. Rescuing Vivi and Nami like. Punches someone out

ummmmm Vivi ends up socking crocodile in the fucking face

Vivi gets her kingdom back and,,,,like Luffy and crew aren’t technically bad guys lol so they stay in alabasta and Vivi ends up showing Nami (well, technically everyone but’s 95% for nami’s sake) the city and her favourite places and exploring libraries filled with how their magic works (bc it’s slightly different to fae/witch/demon magic) and they end up becoming,,,pretty friendly?? bc nami can see Vivi really,,,isnt as shitty as most of the nobles and they hold their nobles accountable instead of like what the Council does but

Luffy ends up getting antsy again and they have to move on, and Vivi offers to travel with them and show them more of alabasta but she’s needed to help repair the city and stuff and so nami promises to send her letters and that’s what happens for about a yeaar ish??? With na/vi slowly,,,getting closer to each other in letters,,,,missing each other bitterly, unhappily-

But then Luf always celebrate’s ace’s birthday at the tower so they pass back through alaburna to say goodbye and Nami feels so happy to see Vivi again and Vivi feels the same way and when Nami half-picks Vivi up in a hug when they see each other she doesn’t end up letting go and so they’re pressed super close and nami’s heart is beating super fast and she’s like oh.

“So I know this would be a bit late, but heroes can usually score kisses from damsels in distress.”

“I’m not in distress, and you’re no hero.” Vivi says, and when nami’s face falls quickly adds, “You are good at stealing what you like, however. And I wouldn’t put up much of a fight.”

and she grins and Nami looks at her and then grins back and quickly kisses her and viVI LIKE,,,, TOTALLY ENDS UP FLUSHING A LITTLE BIT BC AH. WOW. THAT WAS. NICE. RLLY QUICK AND SOFT BUT JUST SHE CAN’T STOP SMILING

They still send letters back all the time and Nami goes to visit her whenever Luf passes by the mountains, and travels back that way occasionally by herself to see,,,vivi. Vivi sends ships to pick her up bc it’s Faster ;u; and safer lol.
