**please note I omitted some things and filler words to make an easier read. She talked about dream team after where I stopped but I didn’t think it added to what she said.
So I wanted to do some talking because I understand there's a lot of things that people are very confused about [...] for the people who are a little bit more newer, I am Caiti's best friend, I am the person that was with her during VidCon. [...] I don't want to fully explain the entire situation because at the end of the day this is always gonna be Caiti's story and it is always going to be her story to tell. I am just here to help move along her story and help people understand exactly what happened. I am her witness essentially.[...] That is it at the end of the day and I am always gonna be here to support Caiti. She is my best friend, she's been there for me through absolutely everything that I have been through in my life. Her mom was the one who paid for my trip to VidCon because she didn't want Caiti to go alone. [...] Caiti is my best friend, I see her like a little sister and to tell me that it's my fault that this happened to Caiti is so unbelievably hurtful. [...]
This is just my intention-to like get things out there and help people completely understand everything that went on. I am so sorry. [...] Like i said- I did not mean for this to happen to Caiti. I didn't know that this would happen [...] I just want you guys to understand I love Caiti absolutely so much. She's my best friend. I have tried to be here for her through absolutely everything and I just wanna explain some things. One of the biggest things i've been seeing people say is that i got Caiti into a 21 and up party and I got her in and that I was feeding her drinks- like there were some things that people were saying that I was the reason Caiti was getting drunk and that Caiti was getting into these 21 and up parties. If you guys read Caiti's statement, which I recommend everyone here do if you guys have not read her statement, she goes into everything in very well detail and she explains things very very well. And like I said in the beginning of the stream, this is Caiti's story, I'm just here to help move it along. And that was never the case. It was never 21 and up parties. I was 20 at the time, if they were 21 and up, I couldn't get in either. I don't own a fake ID, I've never owned a fake ID. If we were to try and get into these parties- like first of all, I also wanna say, the only wristband I had on was the Hyatt wristband that gets me into these parties. That was the only wristband I ever had on. I was technically Caiti's plus-one, but because Caiti was an invited creator and not a featured creator, a lot of these parties we wouldn't have even been able to get into. And I didn't even have like a badge that would let me get into a lot of these things so literally the only party that we got into was the Instagram party, and even then, I didn't get into the Instagram party; I myself. That was the only VidCon specified party that we ended up going to. And that was obviously the night that everything happened. I never even got in. The only person who had a 21 wristband was one of our friends, who have known Dream and George for a while now, so they would know that they were 21 anyways. I didn't get in
So essentially how that day started: we started at VidCon, we met up with some of our friend's friends who were talking about the Instagram party that night and that they had a connect to get us into the party. Once again I want to put out there- the party was 16 plus. If you look at Caiti's statement, it specifically says that it is a 16 up party and if you're 16 and older you need to be there with an adult, but if you're 18 and older you can be there without an adult, and then if you were 21 and up you got a yellow wristband that says that you were 21. And the only person- I did say earlier that I thought two of our friends were 21 at the time, that is because one of my friends that were there, she turned 21 after Caiti already left. It was like she turned literally 21 like- i don't remember exactly which day- but she turned 21, but she wasn't 21 at this time. And so she- we found out that they had connects to get into this party, we were like okay fun, that'd be awesome if we could all get in. So they wrote our names down and stuff. Something that happened, a little miscommunication, they didn't think that there were as many people as there were. So two of us didn't get in. I was one of the two people who didn't get in. Outside the venue there was a staircase and me and our other friend sat out there while everyone else went in because I knew, you know, that's a fun experience. There are text messages of us in that groupchat that ended up, you know obviously a lot of the things got used in that groupchat as proof. There's pictures in that groupchat of me and our friend sitting on the staircase talking about how they didn't let us in and us making jokes that they hated us for not letting us in, but we waited outside. I never got a wristband, I never got inside the venue. The only way I saw inside the venue was by seeing the pictures and videos that Caiti showed me after they went in. They came out 15 minutes later. Me and our other friend told them, dude stay inside, if you guys are having fun that's totally okay. Me and our other friend can just go somewhere else. We had friends who had an airbnb that we had been the night before, that we were like, we’ll just go over there it’s totally okay, don’t even worry about it if you guys don't wanna leave. Like I understand if you’re having fun. It’s a fun experience! It's a VidCon party! This is the first time Caiti was invited to VidCon. Getting to be at an event like that would’ve been so cool and I would not have wanted to take that away from her. But they, being the nice friends that they were, decided nonono, we’re gonna leave. They went in, got some pictures, some videos. i know they made a joke texting- there was like these little mini corndogs that were in there that were being passed around, you know like those people who like hold the plates and they have like the food on it. I'm pretty sure that’s what it was. they were like eating them and they were like guys, hold on, we’ll be out in a second, they got corndogs, they’re really good. Like jokes like that, you know. But then they ended up coming out. And we made a game plan, let’s go back to the hotel, you know, it’s totally fine. We went back to the hotel and that’s where we came from. It was a 16 and up party, no one drank.
People claimed that we came to the hotel having already drank. We didn’t, we didn’t. We went back to the hotel, didn’t drink. Went to their hotel room, and that’s when we started to drink. So to say that we were already drinking beforehand, didn’t happen. I just wanted to get that out there. We weren’t already drunk when we got there, it wasn’t a 21 and up party. It was a 16 and up party. There were creators there that were younger than Caiti and I, from what I saw. Like, it was never us getting Caiti into these 21 and up events. The only time that we went to a party where we drank, honestly, was at an airbnb party hosted by some friends of ours. That’s actually where we met Dream for the first time and that is when we went back to his hotel room that first night because we rode back in his car. I very much remember that night because I didn’t get that drunk as I did the next night. And it was hosted at that airbnb and everyone there was people that I know, people that I’ve gone on trips with, people that were very trustworthy, people that were there and continuously stayed sober and made sure everyone was okay. It was a very safe environment and there were people that Caiti and I have known for a very long time. So, it was a very safe environment for us to be getting, you know, for us to be drinking in. We were playing drinking games, it was very fun. Caiti and I had fun and we went back to their hotel that night and everything was fine. Nothing happened out of the ordinary. I had actually left earlier that night from the hotel room because our hotel room was literally like- their hotel room was here, you walk down the hall, pass the elevators, and then I think it was straight passed the elevators, and it was right there. Like our hotel room was right there. And I had left early that night anyways. Our friend, we’ve talked about it, one of our friends was romantically talking to Dream at the time. That was a very known fact. And she actually stayed the night in his hotel room twice. That first night, after the airbnb party, she was there that entire night. I had left early, I was really tired, I don’t have honestly the biggest like social like battery, especially when I’ve been drinking. I went back to the hotel room early. Caiti and our friend had stayed later and eventually, when Caiti was ready to go back, our friend had walked Caiti back to our hotel room and went back to Dream’s hotel room to spend the night.
And then, the next night, I, you know, got way too drunk. This is after the instagram party, so I’d gotten way too drunk obviously, and that was a mistake of mine. I explained to someone in their dms, I was still very new to drinking. Obviously now, I’ve done it a couple more times, I understand my limits. At the time I honestly didn’t. The only times I’ve ever drank with Caiti have been like, you know, like chill environments, safe places, you know. I haven’t really, I don’t know. I’m still- I was still very new to that whole like partying scene. You know, like going out and seeing people. And I- so that night I was sitting on the couch with them, got a little too drunk obviously, and I did not intentionally want to leave. I was gonna stay way longer but I was sitting there on the couch and I just remember feeling extremely sick and extremely nauseous. I stood up, I said- I didn’t even look at anyone- I said “I’m gonna go guys” and I ran out of the hotel room. I probably walked out of their hotel room and then ran down the hallway. And I just- the thing that I only remember was getting to our hotel room, pulling out the key- ‘cause I have like this satchel,[...] I remember the hotel key was in there. I remember pulling it out, trying to get it to unlock the door and actively was throwing up at the same time in my hand. Like it was, it was, it was like, you know, just like horrible. And then I just remember getting on the bathroom floor, throwing up for a good like 30 minutes and then I woke up. And then I woke up and it was the next day. And it was interesting because I remember throwing up in my hand.[...] So yeah.
To also tell everyone, I did not leave Caiti there. A lot of people are claiming that I abandoned Caiti in that hotel room. I didn’t leave her alone in there. One of our friends were there, and were still awake. She was still there at the time. I left knowing full well Caiti was still there with someone. I assumed that the next morning- I assumed that night that Caiti would’ve been walked home- or walked back to our hotel room by the same person. Obviously, that hadn’t had happened. So that was essentially how everything- I hope that that helped a little bit. I know people had a lot of questions. That was just like the timeline that I remember. That's what I remember. I remember we drank in their hotel room that night. And I just remember getting up, getting really sick, and leaving, and knowing that Caiti was still there with one of our friends. And I like- the idea that people said that I abandoned Caiti- I didn’t abandon Caiti. I just really didn’t wanna throw up in their room. At the time, I was just like thinking how embarrassing that would be for me. I, you know, they had been there the night before, all night. You know, I thought, you know, these were people that we had already had conversations with during the day, that was the third time I had spoken to Dream during this event. I seriously thought these were people I could trust. I genuinely did. I genuinely did think these were people I could trust. They were bigger creators, they were already friends with friends of mine. I shouldn’t have to think that they were gonna do something to Caiti. Caiti, like I said, is my best friend and if I were to know that something was going to happen to her, I would’ve made her leave with me. I would’ve, I mean you guys saw the texts.
What I remember that night and the next day, woke up and just really thought about it, because Caiti had already left for the airport by that time, which is why I had texted her. It’s just like, me and Caiti are just like, you know, two peas in a pod. We never left each other. That was the only time that I really left her. I was with her the entire trip, I never left her side except those times when she was still with our other friend. And I regret it. I regret it. And I admitted to Caiti, I texted her, I have told her multiple times now how I feel horrible and that I blame myself for leaving her in that situation not realizing how uncomfortable she was and that’s completely on me. I’m really bad at picking up social cues. I was also incredibly drunk out of my mind, I was, and I do, I do take responsibility for the fact that I could’ve gotten Caiti out of that situation, and I didn’t. And I regret that and I am going to, like I said in my post, going to continue to try to make it up to Caiti even though she tells me that she doesn’t blame me and I shouldn;t blame myself. I still feel like I need to make it up to her and that’s why I’ve been supporting through everything. I have been doing everything I can to make sure that people understand that she’s not a liar.
In the end of the day, he is a horrible person, he did something absolutely disgusting and in the end of the day the blame is on him. Could I have done better, yes, but he is still the one that did that without her consent. And to now backtrack and say that “oh well now there’s proof” is like absolutely insane. I also know that people said that our friend group hated Dream and them. I didn’t. I didn’t at the time. If I did, would I have gone into his hotel room? Would me and Caiti have wanted to hang out with them? Absolutely not. Now have my opinions on them changed completely? Absolutely. They are honestly horrible people. And to say we changed Caiti’s opinions on that night, No. We didn’t. Caiti came to those conclusions on her own. And if you look at our text messages that we had that next day when I texted her asking her if she was okay, you can tell she still hadn’t fully processed that night. And I remember the next day we talked about it and we were like woah, dude. Like what was that? Like that was crazy.
I know people have been like well Dream had texted people asking about Caiti. No, not me. And me and Dream had been in contact for months after VidCon because I seriously saw him as a friend. I genuinely did. I invited them to hang out with us on multiple occasions. I talked to him at Twitchcon Vegas. I very much thought he was a nice guy and I personally thought completely different than all my other friends did but that doesn’t change the fact that he helped push a narrative that Caiti was a liar and that it wasn’t like how Caiti said. And my opinions on him have completely changed and he never once texted me asking about Caiti and George. The only time that we had a conversation about anything that had to do with that night was obviously when the withHarry happened and he texted me asking if it had seemed like anything had happened and I,a t the time, said no, because the conversation was not about George. The conversation was about him. And it was about the underage drinking and it wasn’t ever about whether or nog Caiti- it was just always just about him and not George which is why I said “dude no nothing seemed wrong” because he wasn’t doing anything wrong and I can stand by that comment and I said that in one of my posts. It wasn’t him, that was our conversation. It was never about George. It was about him and the Harry situation. And it was about- it at the time had seemed that Dream was the one that had taken advantage of Caiti and I said he didn’t and I didn’t lie. I never once lied about that. I never once got messaged about Caiti again from him. So, he never messaged me.

I hope I helped clear things up. I don’t have anything in front of me to help continue it. If I had something confusing to say- I would just have people come watch my stream also if they have any questions. I know there were more questions, I’ve been trying to answer things, but I’m just doing in little sections. I wanna make sure Caiti’s okay. I don’t wanna like fully take over her story because it is her story. And the fact now that they- and by they I mean dream team- is now suddenly switching up and saying “oh I am so sorry, I am so sorry like this is like horrible” are you? Because- are you really sorry? Or are you doing this to save your ass? Because let’s be real here, let’s be real. That’s basically it. Moral of the story- they don’t care about victims.
I hope I helped with people misinterpreting the situation. I know some misinformation was going around. I just want to reiterate because something that I feel like people are not understanding- we were never at a 21 and up party. Caiti never had a 21 and up wristband. If you watch Caiti’s vlog they cut the wristbands off afterwards and it just makes absolutely zero sense. Caiti never once made something seem like she was 21.

i want to list some seward stories here so people can understand a little better why i like this little fucker. here’s what i call “sewardisms”:
so william henry seward was THE light of the ballroom basically. he was ur one stop to have a good conversation with a cigar and drink in hand. and imagine that while knowing he was a fiery little red head standing at 5’6 who’s slender frame was likened to a scarecrow.
his favorite color was yellow and YOU WILL KNOW it. half of his clothes were yellow. his hanker-chiefs were yellow. He loved himself some stupid yellow.
he married frances seward in 1824 and they were the cutest lovebirds ever. they had five kids and fred seward and his wife became the like Defacto secretaries of seward and his lafayette park house bc he was literally never at home with his wife.
continuing w him and frances he once got into a love triangle (square?) with frances and this older senator who saw him as a young man who could fulfill his dreams. his name was albert tracy haller and this is one of his letters to him:
SO seward replies reciprocating it stating that he was happy learning they shared “feelings which I had become half ashamed for their effeminacy to confess I possessed.” but then haller gets like more continually obsessive and angry when seward doesn’t respond as quickly (he’s just like me fr). so he ruined their relationship as haller and thurlow weed (sewards bff and main political advisor) were ALSO beginning to beef over seward. so seward ended up picking weed over the obsessive haller. BUT ITS NOT OVER!!! because while seward is off working haller gets in with frances and tries to get with her and it starts to work… until seward writes a bunch of letters crying and begging her to not leave him because he was scared she didn’t love him anymore. so they both decided to throw haller out and never speak to him again! Power couple!!!
the first night that abraham lincoln and seward met they had to share a bed together where they chatted throughout the night and then finally fell asleep. in a weird coincidence, and the final days they spent together were in seward’s bed as he whispered stories to seward who was currently in excruciating pain because of his shoulder and broken jaw. whenever seward finally fell asleep (something which he dearly needed) lincoln finally left.
i just absolutely adore the relationship between the two. they started off as aquantiances and grew into rivals during the 1860 election. whenever lincoln won seward was PISSED that such a lowly small town lawyer could win but took the secretary of state job anyways. they slowly grew into friends and then by the end of the first year lincoln was spending basically every waking moment with him. they had the same sense of humor and interests, such as theater which seward was his main guest at each performance. they were basically inseparable as he was the closest to lincoln in the cabinet and they had become bffs. they make me so happy, they didn’t care for looks and most of the time you could find them with ruffled hair and misplaced clothing. seward thought the absolute world of lincoln because of how good of a person he was. like i just can’t understate how much seward loved lincoln and saw him for all of his wisdom. i’ve mentioned this before but at this point seward was seeing lincoln more than lincoln’s own wife so she (being mary todd) was angry and jealous of seward (totally understandable) who lincoln spent his nights with instead of her. this jealousy also leached out into other members of the cabinet such as salmon p chase, edwin stanton, and gideon welles who were angry their president spent more time with seward than the actual cabinet. they thought seward had his ear most of the time and was just the acting president. ppl spread those rumors a lot my favorite insult is when george mcclellan called seward a meddling incompetent puppy. it got to the point where seward was gonna resign bc of it until lincoln stepped in and was like No you’re not leaving.
seward came up with adding thanksgiving as a holiday and lincoln was like “hell yeah”
seward got into a carriage accident and dislocated his shoulder and broke his jaw. so for a few weeks he was bed ridden. during this time was the assassination attempts of both him and lincoln. lincoln died while seward’s face was slashed the hell up but he was otherwise still kicking. no one told him that lincoln had passed but when he saw the american flag hanging half mast one morning he knew. while crying he said that if lincoln was alive he would have already come to see him or ask about him but he knew.
after this was some more big hits as his wife died the same year and so did his daughter. he was literally having the WORST year ever and i feel so bad for him.
yeah there’s definitely more but those are the big bits (which i’m probably fucking up some). he’s so campy. i love the little fucker so so much.

Not gonna lie - with more than 150 bills introduced in 35 states in 2023 that aimed to restrict student access to inclusive and diverse books and other library materials, the theme felt pretty radical.
And you DELIVERED. With the help of our Youth Voices (amazing queer youth activists from across the country), we compiled your amazing submissions of poetry, short essays and letters, visual art, photography, and more into Queerbook 2024. Like a yearbook, it captures what queer youth are feeling, going through, and hoping for - right here, right now across the U.S.

The Prince And The Gardener
Word Count: 1,430
TW's: I actually don't think there are any. Is just fluff.
Characters: C!Dream, C!George
Summary: Dream is a fairy just trying to do his job in the royal courtyard. George is a prince looking for a place to hide from his royal escort.
A steely gaze bore holes in Dream’s back. He’d done his best to ignore the feeling of being watched. He had far more important matters to tend to. As his fingers slid across the velvety surface, the yellow-brown pigment of the petal gradually brightened to a light pink hue. The wilted stem was pulled straight by invisible strings. His hands lingered there until the leaves had entirely unfurled themselves, prepared to catch the rays of the sun once more.
He hovered above it a bit longer before moving onto the next.
“What are you doing?”
The voice startled him stiff. He’d been hoping that it was a fellow palace staff member who had decided to take their break in the courtyard and opted to watch him. They weren’t usually allowed in there but you wouldn’t find Dream running to the king and queen to tattle on them. However, nobody who worked in the castle had an accent like that. Silky and refined, the product of being raised in an environment with more highborns than commoners.
This was royalty.
Royalty didn’t talk to servants unless they wanted something and Dream could only imagine what it was they desired of him. He drew in a deep breath before turning around. He dipped into a low bow the instant he recognized the prince.
“Reviving the flowers, your highness. The drought’s done a number on them,” he explained, doing his best to avoid the hardened blue eyes trained on his ever flutter. The prince watched him with a bored expression. His fingers idly slid across one of the many rings on his fingers, draped across the bench like he owned the place…probably because he did.
“You revive them all individually? There’s thousands of them.”
Don’t sound ungrateful, don’t sound ungrateful, don’t sound ungrateful-
“I haven’t anything else better to do,” Dream replied, flashing the most respectful smile he could muster. The prince didn’t reply at all. He just continued on frowning. By the looks of the indents burrowed deep in his skin, that’s all he ever did.
Dream hadn’t been dismissed from the conversation but decided it wouldn’t hurt to continue on working. He split his attention between the young royal and a particularly fried flower.
“My father doesn’t care much for magic,” the prince remarked. A flicker of something unreadable flashed in his eyes. “He doesn’t care much for anything.”
Dream may not have understood what emotion was gracing those regal features but he could recognize the wistfulness in his voice. He knew the sound all too well. A soft smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
“We fairies are tethered to some element of nature at birth,” Dream began, skillfully avoiding the prince’s gaze. “There are plenty of respectable ones for men. Fire, ice, water, wind. Flora? Not so much. My father was ashamed of my magic. He thought if anyone found out his son was a flora fairy then he’d never live it down. So I was never allowed to use it.”
The prince sat up a bit straighter.
“But you’re using it now. Doesn’t that upset him?”
“Oh I’m sure he’s turning in his grave,” Dream chuckled mirthlessly. “But at the end of the day, magic is a part of me. It’s not my job to convince him to accept that.”
A silence fell over the pair. Fear jolted through Dream’s body. He’d entirely forgotten who he was speaking to! This wasn’t just a friend who needed a bit of emotional support. This was literal royalty.
“What’s your name?” the prince asked.
Dream swallowed hard around the lump in his throat.
“Dream, your highness,” he replied honestly, blatantly ignoring the little voice in the back of his head telling him to lie.
“Dream. How long have you worked here, Dream?”
Stay focused. Stay calm.
“About five months, your highness.”
Prince George rolled his eyes.
“We’re alone out here so you can drop the ‘your highness’,” he snapped.
Was this some kind of test?
“It could be considered treason for someone to not acknowledge the crown,” the fairy stated carefully. He wiped the remnants of magic from his fingers on his pants.
“And just what do you think disobeying a direct order from a prince would classify as?”
Dream winced at the sharp tone. Point taken. Point taken, indeed. The prince let out a heavy sigh, collapsing onto the bench.
“You have no idea how bored I am! Ever since the last attempt on my life, I’m not allowed anywhere without an escort. Had to ditch him just to get here.”
Restriction on the castle had grown noticeably tighter ever since the last assassin posed as castle staff to get close to the royal family. Everyone was practically on lockdown. Dream didn’t used to be the only gardener out there and yet, there he was. All alone. That’s only because he was hardly even considered a person, let alone a threat.
“I can’t imagine how difficult that is for you, your-er-George.”
“No, you really can’t. All you’ve got to worry about is your silly flowers, he muttered, tapping one of the blossoms with the toe of his boot.
Silly flow-
Oh, Dream should have let that pretentious brat have it right then and there. Sure, princely duties were probably difficult to shoulder but this was hard labor. Should he fail to meet expectations, they’d have his head. It took him ages to build up enough magic just to get a flower to sprout, let alone bring one back from the brink of death. And he did it several times a day.
He wished the worst thing he had to hide from was someone with his best interests in mind.
But, he didn’t say any of that. Instead, plastered a smile on his face.
“I guess you’re right,” Dream said.
“Of course I am,” George snarked.
‘Of course I am’ Dream’s thoughts echoed. He hated this guy. There were plenty of other places to hide in the castle. With every passing second, he was further tempted to point the prince in the direction of them.
“You talk a lot for a fairy,” George continued.
“Met a lot? We’re usually pretty hard to find out in the wild,” Dream said, doing his best to keep the chatter tame and uninteresting in hopes the prince would simply grow bored.
“You’d be the first I’ve seen out of a cage.”
It wasn’t really his words that caused Dream’s hands to falter as much as it was the casual manner in which he said them.
“I’m honored,” Dream deadpanned.
“You should be,” George replied, folding his hands behind his head.
Dream didn’t know whether to be relieved at the fact the prince didn’t pick up on the disrespectful, sardonic venom dripping from his voice or to be disappointed that the prince had actually taken it as a compliment to further his ego.
“For the record, I can’t say I’ve ever met a prince outside the castle before. Or in the courtyard.”
George’s mouth pulled into a wry line.
“Can’t say I’m surprised. My father is the only one allowed outside and he’d never be caught dead in the courtyard.”
Dream sighed.
“Shame. Might be nice for people to actually admire these flowers, royalty or otherwise.”
The prince’s crystal eyes cracked open. He shifted ever so slightly.
“I suppose I could come out here more often,” George murmured.
Dream hovered a little higher. A wild grin spread across his face before he even had a chance to try and hide it. Maybe this guy was a brat but he was still the only person even semi-willing to talk to Dream. The thought of him actually coming back was impossibly exciting.
“Really?” the fairy beamed.
A light pink hue painted the prince’s cheeks. He shut his eyes and the color vanished as abruptly as it had materialized. He shrugged.
“I guess. But if my babysitter finds me, he might just kill us both.”
Dream turned emerald eyes to the sky, slowly coming down to land on the edge of the garden bed.
“He’d have to catch me first.”
“You think you can outrun him?” George demanded. Dream couldn’t help but feel a bit offended at just how ridiculous the prince made the idea sound.
Dream pulled his leg to a bend, resting his chin on his knee.
“I think I just need to outrun you.”

hi anon you have no idea how much fun i had doing this
ok first for dream: he has a strong jaw, a round face and dark eyebrows
on the left: holbrooks aka the most popular men's sunglass. like every outdoorsy suburban dad owns a pair. they're square so they'll make his jawline pop and they're made for wide faces so they'll be comfortable too also these ones are green and i think he'd like them :]
on the right: the sutros. these are a pick for both dream and sap bc while they scream I'm Straight And I Like Football they're also oakleys and are made for guys with dream's face shape so they'll fit really good and frame his face really well. also i think sap would think they look cool and buy them bc of that lmao
on the left: the dolce plastic aviators that i have wanted for a literal entire year. they're big and wide and they will look really good with dream's jaw. a lot of people like the classic rayban aviators but 60's, 70's, and 2000's retro is in rn and the plastic will last a lot longer and look more stylish
on the right: one of my favorite pairs of pradas like its hard to see in the screenshot but the sides are teal and yellow which would look SO COOL with dream's hair and eyes and skin tones. also they look kinda funky at first (retro babey) but like. my brother tried these on and they looked SO GOOD its not fair and my brother looks fairly similar to dream in hair eye skin tone etc so i think dream would absolutely slay in these.
for sap he still has a very masculine face shape (strong jaw, dark eyebrows) but it's slightly more angled than dream's jaw so i wanted to highlight that higher cheekbone in my choices
on the left: some classic wayfarers, sap def has a smaller face than dream but still very masculine and these would highlight that while also giving him a very simple, classic look. these i think fit his personality more than anything (which is surprisingly important for sunglasses)
on the right: traditional clubmasters are going to be a really similar look to wayfarers but because they're part metal, they'll give a little more shape to his face and the softer edges will bring out his higher cheekbones
on the left: burberry percys which are going to be similar to the wayfarers in that classic look that draws out all his features nicely and i chose this pair specifically because of the slight slant at the bottom to make his jaw line look really good (also the tortoise color will compliment his hair really well)
on the right: burberry eldons which are a pair i personally got very recently and are part of the newest burberry line. they're the bigger more masculine version of the small, square, and dark sunglass trend and the square look will contrast with his round cheeks and softer nose to give a cool balanced look
for george i didn't pick nearly as many but he has an oval shaped face and nice dark hair and he can grow a bit of stubble which means the entire sunglass world is at his fingertips. like oval shape faces fit basically anything (although disclaimer i don't think the round glasses he was wearing during name your price were the pair For Him SORRY BUT HE'D LOOK BETTER IN SOMETHING MORE SQUARE) but yeah i think if he wanted to go for more masculine shapes, sap's picks would also look really good and i think the pradas in dream's picks would look fucking amazing on him like colors. shapes. EVERYTHING
on the left: prada 17ws aka the tiktok sunglasses aka the bad bunny sunglasses aka the pete davidson sunglasses etc etc but i think these would look really good on George like they're trendy but they're the 60's and 2000's retro with the thick sides that make everything Stand Out. george is made of contrasting cooler color tones with his paler skin and dark hair and eyes and this pair will only highlight that
on the right: the gregory peck oliver peoples sunglasses that I've only ever seen irl once when i fixed them for a lady (i think i swooned when i saw this pair) the style is round but not too round just enough so that it gives some contrasting edges with george's oval face and the round lenses that stand out. the bridge esp has a more traditionally European look that you'll see in persol glasses but the pair as a whole is understated and classic

2022 Reading Challenge Report
Creating this spread in my journal has become a highlight of my year. Past efforts are here: 2019, 2020, 2021. Each year I spend a little more time on my mini cover drawings and each year I'm a little happier with how they turned out.
My reading goal for the year was 100 books and I barely made it: 101. I had to really book it to reach my goal (heh, see what I did there)
Some years it's sort of hard to pick my "Best Books", but this year it was relatively easy. Eight books in particular really stood out. I could have just left it at eight, but there were two additional authors that I came across this year that I read several books by and am quite sure I will continue gobbling up their oeuvres as long as I can. (I've never in my life seen that word as a plural—can that be right?) So as a 9th pick, I just named them both: Ashley Herring Blake and Alexis Hall. I read several of Blake's books this year that would have absolutely changed my life if they'd been around when I was a kid/teen and Hall is here because literally everything he writes is fucking hilarious.

I think next year I won't do the Black Women Authors challenge. I hope I will still read as many or at least a significant number of books by Black women, and I think it's a really great idea. I'm going to resist doing it this year, though, because I noticed a crummy impulse in myself as I was keeping track of the books, like I was "getting credit" for reading books in this category and that feels kinda gross. We'll see how I do without striving for a cookie.
I would like to read more picture books in 2023, and maybe be a little choosier about the graphic novels I read. I really love graphic novels, but I read some clunkers this year. I was also pretty light on nonfiction and I'd like to read a little more this year. In any case, I know it will be another great year of reading! See you next year!

can we talk about this sands of mart post for a second
i know it doesnt say how many blocks were placed correctly but seeing how many each person placed is still an indicator of how much they tried/contributed imo.
george was a builder, he placed 113 blocks - the Most on yellow (and 9th most overall).
dream was supposed to be a floater, yet he placed 107 blocks - the second most on yellow.
bad was a builder and he placed 58 blocks - about HALF of the amount george placed.
and skeppy - well skeppy was a builder who placed 12 blocks.
i think these stats are crazy tbh like theres a difference between placing blocks and placing blocks correctly obviously, but i think the more someone places the more they have a chance of getting right (if that makes sense). and i can’t believe skeppy only placed 12, what was he doing? did he struggle THAT much? and what went on with bad, he’s played buildmart before and the remix didnt change the core point of the game how did he place half as many as george 😭 i feel like i can confidently say yellow’s buildmart placement was not on dnf
I WAS LITERALLY TALKING ABOUT THIS THE OTHER DAY like i wanted to know how many builds bad did bc it felt like he…. Wasn’t doing that much for some reason??
like again i don’t blame them but people will attribute yellow’s build mart placement to dnf since they are so vocal about their dislike for the game but they kinda carried there 😭😭

The only people who have ever brought up accessibility issues with build mart are the stans of the Dream Team. None of the actual players have said anything except for a couple of times, and that was when change happened. After players were struggling to tell which blocks were which, Noxcrew added block titles so everyone could see what block they were looking at without it being invasive. If any player has a problem with being overwhelmed during the game, they can take it up with Noxcrew. The fans don’t need to complain for the players, they can do that themselves.
If it’s accessibility you’re worried about, I could argue just about every game in MCC is inaccessible and hostile to certain players in some capacity. Parkour Tag and Battle Box require coordination and cool nerves under pressure, which is inaccessible to players who have wrist/hand mobility and coordination issues and have extreme anxiety, for example. The issue is not that Build Mart is particularly inaccessible compared to other games, just that it’s a game that several players with large audiences dislike and continue to voice their distaste for the game publicly (which they’re allowed to do). It does have memorization aspects, yes, but so do games like Battle Box, where players can memorize certain strategies for certain maps, or Ace Race, where they can memorize the fastest route to get somewhere. The only difference is there is no defined group-hate towards these games, even though they have aspects that could be hostile to a large number of players.
The only people who have brought up accessibility issues with build mart are the stans of the Dream Team.
I have seen a lot of of Dream Team stans talk about inaccessibility. I think a lot of that comes from seeing how frustrated they get whenever buildmart comes up, especially considering we watch george, whos colorblindness is incredibly severe, and dream, whose spoken about how his ADHD negatively impacts his performance in buildmart a lot. But just because it seems like a particular group is more vocal about it doesn't negate that fact that inaccessibility is the issue. If I had to watch any cc struggle with a game that they literally cannot approve upon because of their disability, I would advocate for it to be removed.
Noxcrew did add block titles, but what's the range? Non colorblind players can easily look at a block and name the color from across the map, but colorblind players would have to over within range to come to the same conclusion.

Of course they can which is why I also brought up the fact that as a viewer it can be overwhelming. Also the reason I posted it here in tumblr and didn't tag anyone. I'm not fighting battles for the players; I'm pointing out how ableistic buildmart is.

Buildmart is a game you can't practice. Also games like battle box and ace race are games that players can improve on. Pvp isn't your strong suit? Practice, talk to pvp players. Ace race tridents messing you up? There's a map that you can practice on! You're colorblind and literally cannot see the difference between lim and yellow concrete unless you go all the way up to the block? ... what do you do then?
It's not that other games aren't hostile or that other games don't put certain players at a disadvantage. It's the fact that there's no way currently for colorblind and nd players to improve.
The only difference is that there's no defined group-hate towards these games
I wouldn't mind if other games got called out for inaccessibility, there's always room for improvement. And calling out when games are punishing players for things they cannot control is not a bad thing. If you see something that should be changed, talk about it. Every person's accommodations are different and they over lap, especially with large diverse groups of people so not every game is going to be each players best, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't call out games that are fundamentally putting people with particular disabilities at a disadvantage.
Buildmart ,as it currently is, is a memory game in which being able to quickly identify colors is a huge advantage which makes it an inaccessible game to nd player/players that struggle with short term memory and players that are colorblind.

(this is like. a joke or whatever. i did this because i thought it would be funny. also it’s only gonna be the people i’m familiar enough with, so not every member will be listed)
dream smp members rated based off of how good of a furry i think they’d be
dream, george and sapnap: 4/10. they’d be funny but i also think they’d be kinda weird about it.
badboyhalo and skeppy are a 9/10 they’d have the best fursonas and would probably have fursuits with some sort of matching detail. like something on their fursuits would be the others main color. it would be adorable and hilarious.
awesamdude: 5/10 i think he’d have one of those cool scary fursuits and like fifty fursonas. almost all of them are edgy but he never leans into it when fursuiting.
antfrost. 10/10 warrior cat fans are literally just diluted furries.
jack manifold is like a 3/10 he’d have one of those generic like wolf or husky fursonas that every other furry has. he’d be the life of the party though and his fursuit acting would be off the charts. everybody would want a picture with grey-and-white canine #127
nihachu: 10/10 she’d have the coolest most unique looking fursona and like so many fursuits from the best makers. like they’d be ranging from cute pink toony cats to those cool creepy realistic canine suits. maybe a dragon one too.
wilbur soot is a 8/10 he would probably commission a lot of art and have a good number of fursuits but he’d only ever go to cons and meetups in his skulldog mini partial. it’s revivebur themed. i also think he’d change his fursona like every other week. most of them are pretty ridiculous.
philza: 8/10 he would have one fursona that he’s had since like middle school and it’s some sort of hybrid fantasy creature. he wouldn’t have a fursuit but he’d be a fantastic fursuit handler. definitely a big furry protector and gives a lot of advice when it comes to making fursonas and taking care of fursuits.
technoblade: 6/10 only really a furry by technicality, doesn’t really participate in any furry activities but would have a sick fursuit. wilbur got it for him.
tommyinnit: 9/10 there’s a fine line between an animal person and a furry. he’d have a super unique but simple fursona, i think it’d probably be a dog. yeahyeahyeah you might think it’d be a cow or something, no. he’d have a cute and toony dog fursona that is literally just him. like a yellow/blond and white dog with big floppy ears and a bandana. the only reason he’s not a 10/10 is because he’d probably be REALLY active on tiktok.
tubbo: probably a 5/10 like he could go either way. he’d probably be a pretty chill furry y’know like not be super into cons and fursuit meetups and stuff but like he’d have at least a mini partial fursuit of like… probably something cool actually. his fursona would be one of those popular original species like a manokit or a protogen. maybe even a dutch angel dragon.
ranboo is a 7/10 he’d be really annoying and extra about it but he’d support a lot of artists. he’s got like several different versions of the same fursuit from throughout the years and it’s like a dragon dog or something. maybe a dragon cat but i don’t think he’d risk it. literally everyone would be able to recognize his fursona because it’s really well designed but like there’s a negative attachment to it. he’d be cringe as hell if enabled, i think.
quackity: 6/10 he’d be a weird one but would have a really cool fursuit of his fursona that’s like a really cool original species he made that has a lot of lore. nobody would be able to tell that he put so much effort into it though because the character would be the stupidest most insane thing ever.
karl jacobs: 10/10 would have a cute and simple but distinct cat fursona, i don’t know if he would have a fursuit or not but he’d be really active in the community. everyone would love him and his dumb cat sona. if he did have a fursuit he’d put so much life into it when acting that the character would be completely separate from him.
eret: 8/10 your average cool furry. they’d have one of those fursuits that are lowkey kinda…… but they’d be overall a chill and supportive furry i think.
foolish: 5/10 probably kind of annoying but still alright. his fursona would either be something super crazy over the top cool or something kind of generic and boring.

tbh its kind of annoying how the reddit look at yellow’s win and instantly water it down to “should dnf be allowed to team again?”
yellow did Not win because of dnf. yes they were the two strongest on the team, they usually are, but they actually slightly underperformed this time compared to recent events (largely due to ace race screwing them both). literally the reason they did so well compared to predictions was skeppy getting 19th. it rlly was skeppy who couldve made or broke the team and he made it. so people saying dnf shouldnt team anymore arent even looking at the stats they just see dnf and say NO!!
skeppy was a wildcard player in the sense that he seems ‘new’ and hasn’t played mcc since mcc14, and his team did bad that event. dream turned out to be a good leader for him, and skeppy turned out to be a pop off pvper!! so having dream george and skeppy turned out to be op. it sucks that the movement games didn’t help them that much, they LITERALLY got screwed by there being no parkour tag or tgttosawaf, but they popped off in sky battle and battle box which the stats did not predict!! and so they won :)

Mystic Messenger, but it’s actually C!Quackity on the DSMP
…C!Quackity treating the DSMP like a dating sim joke, except I take it literally and tell you all the datable characters and Good, Bad, and Neutral Ends like this Mystic Messenger.
(Disclaimer Note: This is all based on C!Quackity’s lore. This is also all based around their characters, NOT the CC’s. I am also NOT encouraging you to ship any of these characters -- especially bc some DO NOT feel comfortable with that. Also, no Minors are included because NO. This has just been a running Quackity joke for a while, and the concept of C!Quackity trying to flirt with all of these characters to speedrun the server like a legit dating sim sounds just so funny to me. Please do not attack me.)
Main Character Routes:
Sapnap (Good End: “Burning Love”, Neutral End: “I Love You, But Not Like That”, Bad End: “Twice Burned”) — can be connected to Karl’s Route

These are just the routes I’ve come up with for fun, and you can kind of see how a lot of them turn out by the names asjhdgksaj. (I don’t mind explaining what happens in any of them if you wanna know.)
** For anyone that doesn’t know Mystic Messenger by the way, there are 3 Main Endings (Good, Neutral, Bad) for Every Character, a True Neutral End, a True Bad End, and some other Bad Ends along the way if you start Good, then turn Bad towards a Character you’re pursuing.
But also, since this is Quackity… Him balancing out affection towards Karl and Sapnap, gets the Karlnapity Route, which is technically also a Main Route.
I will say though… Karl would probably have secret bonus options in the Advanced Routes that become available that involve Quackity finding out Karl’s a Time Traveler (something he discovers vaguely in Karl’s Main Route), but it leads to Quackity finding out more about Karl’s Time Travelling— the way Karl dies each time, the Dopplegangers, the Inbetween, etc.
Upon discovering all these things and finishing Karl’s Route in Advanced as a Good End, Secret Endings become Available to him. (This is where we’re gonna get SERIOUS, just so you know. We’re living like the Dream Daddy Simulator and there’s more lore than you realize.)
More about the Secret Endings under the cut with the actual hidden lore because this post is about to be LONG.
These Secret Endings actually include Quackity witnessing Karl’s Time Traveling firsthand… Also, potentially Quackity traveling WITH Karl through time and into the Inbetween.
Upon him finishing this Secret Ending (which ends with him calming Karl through everything and a hopeful ending of him promising to help Karl to learn more about Karl’s abilities and save Karl’s memories), another route is open.
There’s Three Secret Endings that reveal themselves in total. That was only the first. The final two are connected, but the third being revealed depends on Quackity getting all the Main Bad Ends.
The Second Secret End is directly tied to Karl’s Bad End and the Fiancés’ Bad End in Advanced where in both, Karl forgets Quackity and Quackity lives alone in Las Nevadas.
In the OG Good Ending with Karl, they get married and stay El Rapids with Sapnap (romantic or platonically). In the Good Advanced with Karl, Quackity builds Las Nevadas and Karl almost forgets him, but Quackity comes home and finds out what happened.
The Second Secret Ending is what happens after Karl’s Advanced Bad Ending where he forgets Quackity. This Quackity, who’s chosen not to find out why he wasn’t invited to Kinoko, finds Sapnap struggling enough between helping Karl, managing Kinoko, and everything with Dream. Karl is gone again. Quackity, though still angry with the two, decides to help find Karl.
What ends up happening though is Quackity and Sapnap discover The Library (something Quackity discovers only in the Good Advanced End). They search around and find The Books. Obviously, the two start freaking out until Karl appears.
This Karl isn’t their Karl. He looks the same, but there’s a noticeable white streak in his hair. Another thing is that he remembers Quackity.
It’s discovered in that moment that this “Dating Sim” situation with Quackity being able to restart through every path (though he fully never remembers any of them once the paths end) is the work of Time Travel. It’s Karl sending him back in time to make things right. The Karl in their timeline will only continue to get worse and lose all his memories. He NEEDS his memories, otherwise Karl can’t fix the timeline. There’s a huge threat that is going to be showing itself.
Everyone WILL be doomed if Karl can’t repair the timeline, however, this Karl can’t fix it for him. Whatever threat that is going to come after them in the near future is following this Karl’s trail too closely. If this Karl tried to do it, he’d be leading the threat back in time with him and things would be doomed even sooner.
He can only send back one, which is how Quackity gets chosen. Even though Quackity protests, Sapnap insists that it be Quackity to go. Sapnap can’t leave. If he did, he would be abandoning their timeline’s Karl, along with George and Kinoko.
There’s a small argument between Quackity and Sapnap over this, but Sapnap admits he just Can’t. The timeline might change, but he couldn’t live with himself imagining Karl coming home without someone there to remind him that it is Home. Or George finally waking up and Sapnap not being able to be there.
Quackity might have Las Nevadas to worry about, but Sapnap has the weight of two of the most important people in their lives on his shoulders.
He can’t do it.
Future Karl assures Quackity that he’d be good for this, too. That past Karl NEEDS him. His Fiancé NEEDS him. And this way, Quackity can help Sapnap!
In the end, Quackity agrees. He reluctantly agrees to go. Future Karl just grins at him and hands him a pocket watch that in future runs, Quackity will be more aware of having because he’s actually had it in every route that wasn’t Karl’s Advanced Route.
Right as Future Karl is teaching Quackity how to use it, the portal behind Karl turns a sickly neon green and yellow. Karl looks panicked at the sight. He quickly starts ushering Quackity to leave. NOW.
Right as Quackity does, he just manages to see a glimpse of a hooded being stepping through the portal. He’s gone before he can see who it is.
The Final Secret Ending becomes available.
The Final Secret Ending is ENTIRELY based on Quackity getting to all the Bad Endings for the Mains and all Karl’s Endings. That’s because the Final Secret Ending is, of course, about Dream.
Up until this point, Dream has been doing his typical Dream things. In the Main Routes, he’s more of an idle character for Quackity because Quackity’s not directly involved with him yet. In the Advanced, Dream has reached the point of being imprisoned, thus Quackity is incredibly aware of everything Dream’s done.
Somehow, this Dream eventually finds a way to escape the prison. He becomes more powerful upon getting released and somehow finds out about Karl’s powers, leading him down the road of wanting to understand him so that he himself can “fix the server”. Karl can’t allow Dream to tamper with the timeline because it’ll ruin everything.
Dream, of course, finds a way into getting into Karl’s library and trying to find the necessary information to do it himself. Insert more plot leading to Dream eventually chasing Karl through the portals to stop Karl from reaching a timeline where they can change the story, and thus enters Quackity.
In this Final Secret Ending, Quackity discovers everything that happening because Dream appears before Karl in The Library and reveals everything. Karl arrives late, just as this version of Dream is about to actually kill Quackity because, you know, personal reasons, but also Dream’s figured out Karl’s plan.
Right as Dream’s about to kill Quackity though, Karl manages at the last second to shove Quackity the pocket watch, but Karl ends up getting killed in the process. Quackity has no time to mourn before he wakes back up in the past.
And that’s all the Karl routes (which technically along with Sapnap) make for the True Endings! So there’s all of that story! ^u^
Definitely way more than I considered plotting out... But ya know,,, I fucking love Mystic Messenger and I love C!Quackity lore, along with C!Karl... So this started as a joke, but now you get lore to it!
