There is a tale among the Big Folk that speaks of the Firstborn fairy of summer. Lovely and fair he’s said to be, with the light of the sun itself encasing his bones; warm and welcoming. It is said that his is the voice to calm all who hear it, and some even believe it can heal the mind of all its troubles. Whether that is true or not they cannot say, for it is an unfair truth that none of them have ever laid eyes upon him; and for as long as the Firstborn fairy of summer remains in his valley of radiance and delight, none of them ever will.
Thank you for always putting such beauty into your work, @aoi-kanna, and what more, for allowing me to see it with my own eyes. You’ve made the lovely fairy Dream a wonderful sight to behold, and this illustration gives me comforting storybook vibes… it’s almost reminding me of the fairytale books I had as a child, full of pretty pictures.

Two families connected pt 2
HEHE, here I come with part two! >:]
part 1 here
Tw: Safe vore (it's only two or three lines tho)
A few hours passed when Punz turned around to go back home with the two cherries he had picked for his mother. He looked up at the sky, noticing how darker clouds were beginning to appear. 'Luckily I'm going back, otherwise the rain would have caught me... But... For some reason I have a bad feeling...'
He quickly took flight, heading home.
//
“Sapnap..! Let the fairy out” The half-demon tried to convince his fireborn son. “But dad…” he said, pouting. "No buts sapnap. Let the fairy out, he doesn't know it's safe, so you're scaring him." Bad explained softly placing his hands on Sapnap's shoulders.
After a few seconds, the fireborn sighed. "Okay..." He moved away from Bad a little and closed his eyes, concentrating on pushing the fairy up. In a few seconds the fairy was back in Sapnap's mouth, who carefully removed him from it. Bad picked the small fairy up gently, holding him close as the little boy cried.
Sapnap looked a little guilty, his tail curling around his leg. "I didn't want to scare him, dad..." "Don't worry Sappy, he'll get over it in a while." Bad looked at the clock for a moment before looking at Sapnap again. "And... The clock reads half past three, which means..." Sapnap pouted, crossing his arms. "But dad, I don't want to take a nap...!"
"Sapnap.." The fireborn sighed, heading to his room. “Okay…” Once Sapnap had left the living room, Bad sat down on the couch, carefully inspecting the little fairy. Soon after, he gently began to wipe away the saliva that covered him. "...What's your name, little one..?" He asked as he continued to clean the fairy.
"His name is Dream." Bad looked up as Skeppy walked into the living room, sitting down on the couch next to him. “Dream? That's adorable.” Skeppy chuckled. “His mother named him, while I named his older brother, Punz.” He said, gently stroking Dream's head.
"That's a good name," Bad replies. Skeppy offers him a smile, but can't stop thinking about how his friend and Punz were doing. He hoped they were okay.
//
Punz flew for a while, finally reaching his home. "Mom, Dream, I'm home!" he said as he stepped inside, placing the cherries on the table. In a few seconds his mother gets out of her room quickly, approaching her son.
"Punz, Dream is not with you?" she asked, clearly concerned. Punz looked at her confused and also a little worried. "No? He was supposed to be with you…” “Punz, he went after you when he found out you went out…”
The confusion on Punz's face changed to complete concern. "What?!" He exclaimed, turning around, heading to the door of the house. "I'm going to look for him, I'll be back soon." he told his mother before flying off again. “Be careful, Punz…”
The young fairy quickly flew around the area, desperately searching for his little brother. He looked at the clouds, which were darker than before.
It would soon start to rain and he needed to find Dream before it happened. He continued to fly around before veering off. If Dream hadn't been met on the way, it meant that his brother had strayed from the path.
He tried to fly even faster, advancing a few meters, when he saw a human house in the distance. A thought that he would not want to be true crossed his mind when he saw the house. ‘Maybe Dream had been seen and caught by the humans that live in that house…?’
Punz shook his head, there was only one way to know. He flew quickly but when he had a few meters to go, it began to rain heavily, soaking his wings completely and causing him to fall to the ground hardly.
Slowly and shakily he rose from the ground, his body sore from the fall. He tried to move his wings to fly but they were completely wet. He walked closer to the house, carefully stepping onto the terrace to get out of the rain.
He didn't want to risk entering the house while his wings were wet, as he didn't want to be caught by the humans who lived there. He hid in a part of the terrace and once he was sure that the humans would not see him there, he closed his eyes. He was really tired...
//
Skeppy suddenly got up from the couch where he was sitting next to Bad. “Skeppy? Are you okay..?" Skeppy looked at him for a moment in silence before answering. "Yes... but... For some reason I feel like I have to check the terrace..."
Bad frowned in confusion, looking at the window. “But it's raining Skeppy, if the wind blows you could get wet..” Skeppy gave him a small smile before starting to head towards the entrance. "Don't worry, it will only be a moment." he finally answered walking out of the living room.
Skeppy walked down the hall, before long arriving and opening the front door. He walked slowly around the terrace, not noticing anything strange until his eyes noticed something in a corner.
He approached slowly, kneeling down once he was in front of it. His eyes widened as he recognized the small figure. ‘Punz..? What is he doing here..? Maybe looking for Dream...?' he thought as he carefully picked up the small body, noticing how cold and wet he was.
'So got you in the rain, huh..?' Skeppy held the small boy gently against his chest, walking back into the house and shutting the door close with one hand. He slowly made his way back to the living room, sitting next to Bad again.
The half-demon looked at the figure Skeppy was holding. "Skeppy...? Who..-?" "This is Punz, Dream's older brother, who apparently was looking for him but got caught in the rain.” He interrupted Bad before he could finish his question.
“Oh.. Poor muffinhead… I hope he doesn't catch a cold…” “Don't worry, he'll be fine, he just needs to rest. Although we will have to calm him down and explain everything to him when he wakes up…” explained Skeppy. Bad nodded, directing his gaze back to Dream.
It was just a matter of waiting.

The Prince And The Gardener
Word Count: 1,430
TW's: I actually don't think there are any. Is just fluff.
Characters: C!Dream, C!George
Summary: Dream is a fairy just trying to do his job in the royal courtyard. George is a prince looking for a place to hide from his royal escort.
A steely gaze bore holes in Dream’s back. He’d done his best to ignore the feeling of being watched. He had far more important matters to tend to. As his fingers slid across the velvety surface, the yellow-brown pigment of the petal gradually brightened to a light pink hue. The wilted stem was pulled straight by invisible strings. His hands lingered there until the leaves had entirely unfurled themselves, prepared to catch the rays of the sun once more.
He hovered above it a bit longer before moving onto the next.
“What are you doing?”
The voice startled him stiff. He’d been hoping that it was a fellow palace staff member who had decided to take their break in the courtyard and opted to watch him. They weren’t usually allowed in there but you wouldn’t find Dream running to the king and queen to tattle on them. However, nobody who worked in the castle had an accent like that. Silky and refined, the product of being raised in an environment with more highborns than commoners.
This was royalty.
Royalty didn’t talk to servants unless they wanted something and Dream could only imagine what it was they desired of him. He drew in a deep breath before turning around. He dipped into a low bow the instant he recognized the prince.
“Reviving the flowers, your highness. The drought’s done a number on them,” he explained, doing his best to avoid the hardened blue eyes trained on his ever flutter. The prince watched him with a bored expression. His fingers idly slid across one of the many rings on his fingers, draped across the bench like he owned the place…probably because he did.
“You revive them all individually? There’s thousands of them.”
Don’t sound ungrateful, don’t sound ungrateful, don’t sound ungrateful-
“I haven’t anything else better to do,” Dream replied, flashing the most respectful smile he could muster. The prince didn’t reply at all. He just continued on frowning. By the looks of the indents burrowed deep in his skin, that’s all he ever did.
Dream hadn’t been dismissed from the conversation but decided it wouldn’t hurt to continue on working. He split his attention between the young royal and a particularly fried flower.
“My father doesn’t care much for magic,” the prince remarked. A flicker of something unreadable flashed in his eyes. “He doesn’t care much for anything.”
Dream may not have understood what emotion was gracing those regal features but he could recognize the wistfulness in his voice. He knew the sound all too well. A soft smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
“We fairies are tethered to some element of nature at birth,” Dream began, skillfully avoiding the prince’s gaze. “There are plenty of respectable ones for men. Fire, ice, water, wind. Flora? Not so much. My father was ashamed of my magic. He thought if anyone found out his son was a flora fairy then he’d never live it down. So I was never allowed to use it.”
The prince sat up a bit straighter.
“But you’re using it now. Doesn’t that upset him?”
“Oh I’m sure he’s turning in his grave,” Dream chuckled mirthlessly. “But at the end of the day, magic is a part of me. It’s not my job to convince him to accept that.”
A silence fell over the pair. Fear jolted through Dream’s body. He’d entirely forgotten who he was speaking to! This wasn’t just a friend who needed a bit of emotional support. This was literal royalty.
“What’s your name?” the prince asked.
Dream swallowed hard around the lump in his throat.
“Dream, your highness,” he replied honestly, blatantly ignoring the little voice in the back of his head telling him to lie.
“Dream. How long have you worked here, Dream?”
Stay focused. Stay calm.
“About five months, your highness.”
Prince George rolled his eyes.
“We’re alone out here so you can drop the ‘your highness’,” he snapped.
Was this some kind of test?
“It could be considered treason for someone to not acknowledge the crown,” the fairy stated carefully. He wiped the remnants of magic from his fingers on his pants.
“And just what do you think disobeying a direct order from a prince would classify as?”
Dream winced at the sharp tone. Point taken. Point taken, indeed. The prince let out a heavy sigh, collapsing onto the bench.
“You have no idea how bored I am! Ever since the last attempt on my life, I’m not allowed anywhere without an escort. Had to ditch him just to get here.”
Restriction on the castle had grown noticeably tighter ever since the last assassin posed as castle staff to get close to the royal family. Everyone was practically on lockdown. Dream didn’t used to be the only gardener out there and yet, there he was. All alone. That’s only because he was hardly even considered a person, let alone a threat.
“I can’t imagine how difficult that is for you, your-er-George.”
“No, you really can’t. All you’ve got to worry about is your silly flowers, he muttered, tapping one of the blossoms with the toe of his boot.
Silly flow-
Oh, Dream should have let that pretentious brat have it right then and there. Sure, princely duties were probably difficult to shoulder but this was hard labor. Should he fail to meet expectations, they’d have his head. It took him ages to build up enough magic just to get a flower to sprout, let alone bring one back from the brink of death. And he did it several times a day.
He wished the worst thing he had to hide from was someone with his best interests in mind.
But, he didn’t say any of that. Instead, plastered a smile on his face.
“I guess you’re right,” Dream said.
“Of course I am,” George snarked.
‘Of course I am’ Dream’s thoughts echoed. He hated this guy. There were plenty of other places to hide in the castle. With every passing second, he was further tempted to point the prince in the direction of them.
“You talk a lot for a fairy,” George continued.
“Met a lot? We’re usually pretty hard to find out in the wild,” Dream said, doing his best to keep the chatter tame and uninteresting in hopes the prince would simply grow bored.
“You’d be the first I’ve seen out of a cage.”
It wasn’t really his words that caused Dream’s hands to falter as much as it was the casual manner in which he said them.
“I’m honored,” Dream deadpanned.
“You should be,” George replied, folding his hands behind his head.
Dream didn’t know whether to be relieved at the fact the prince didn’t pick up on the disrespectful, sardonic venom dripping from his voice or to be disappointed that the prince had actually taken it as a compliment to further his ego.
“For the record, I can’t say I’ve ever met a prince outside the castle before. Or in the courtyard.”
George’s mouth pulled into a wry line.
“Can’t say I’m surprised. My father is the only one allowed outside and he’d never be caught dead in the courtyard.”
Dream sighed.
“Shame. Might be nice for people to actually admire these flowers, royalty or otherwise.”
The prince’s crystal eyes cracked open. He shifted ever so slightly.
“I suppose I could come out here more often,” George murmured.
Dream hovered a little higher. A wild grin spread across his face before he even had a chance to try and hide it. Maybe this guy was a brat but he was still the only person even semi-willing to talk to Dream. The thought of him actually coming back was impossibly exciting.
“Really?” the fairy beamed.
A light pink hue painted the prince’s cheeks. He shut his eyes and the color vanished as abruptly as it had materialized. He shrugged.
“I guess. But if my babysitter finds me, he might just kill us both.”
Dream turned emerald eyes to the sky, slowly coming down to land on the edge of the garden bed.
“He’d have to catch me first.”
“You think you can outrun him?” George demanded. Dream couldn’t help but feel a bit offended at just how ridiculous the prince made the idea sound.
Dream pulled his leg to a bend, resting his chin on his knee.
“I think I just need to outrun you.”
George scoffed, the corners of his lips twitching upwards in what may possibly be the closest thing to a smile that he was capable of producing.
“You’re stupid.”
The fairy only laughed.

I am the humming of bees and clear skies.
My touch is as warm as the sun and as soft as a butterfly’s wings.
I bring laughter and endless joy with the brush of gentler winds.
Summer is the time for rest and peace of mind as you forget the struggles of seasons past.

Two families connected
Here I come with a the new fairy au fic pt 1 :D
You can see Punz's reference here and Dream's here :]
Enjoy (Also, here you go @brick-a-doodle-do :])
WC: 1.1K :)
TW: Safe/soft vore (at the end tho), small injury and fearplay (kinda?)
It was early in the morning, you could hear the sheets moving as the young fairy changed position to a more comfortable one.
After a few minutes there were small knocks on his door followed by a soft voice. "Punz honey, it's time to get up.” The fairy gave a small grunt before stretching and getting out of bed. "Coming mom..."
He prepared himself before leaving the room and being greeted by his mother. "You have breakfast on the table and when you're done I need you to help me with some things." Punz nodded, sitting down to eat breakfast.
He looked at the empty place at the table before looking at her mother. "Dream isn't up yet...?" He asked, a bit confused since she always woke them up together. “I am letting him sleep a little more, because he has not been able to sleep until very late.”
"But when I went to bed he was already asleep. Has he had a nightmare again?" His mother nodded before speaking. "Have you finished?" Punz nodded. "Okay, could you go pick a couple of cherries of the clearing?" Punz nodded again.
"Sure, anything to help mom." His mother ruffled his hair, giggling when he complained that he had just done his hair. "Be careful, okay?" "I will, don't worry." he said with a smile before flying off toward the clearing.
The mother continued doing things around the house until the door to one of the rooms opened, revealing an even younger fairy. "Morning mommy…” “Good morning Dream dear, are you better?” The boy nodded, heading towards his mother, who picked him up in her arms and shortly after sat him down at the table.
"Time for breakfast then" she said with a smile. Dream ate some of his breakfast before looking at her mother. “Mommy… where is Punz…?” "He's gone to get something for mommy, okay?" Once she said that, the boy got up from the table heading towards the entrance. "Dream, where are you going?"
"I'm going to go find Punz!" he said cheerfully before flying off like Punz had. His mother's eyes widened, quickly heading towards the entrance to try to stop him "Dream, wait!" but he was already gone. If her wings had been alright, she would have stopped him, but she was no longer able to fly, which made it impossible. She hoped nothing happened to him.
//
The green fairy flew around looking for his older brother, but was unable to find him. Maybe he should have waited at home, but… which way was home? The little boy looked around trying to remember where he had come from, but he couldn't. Suddenly a noise caught his attention, looking up, his eyes widening in fear.
A few meters above, there was a crow staring at him until it decided to go for him. Dream managed to get out of the way when it attacked him and quickly tried to fly away, but the crow was close behind. Dream managed to dodge for a while, but he started to get tired, something really normal since he was still a kid.
In a short time the crow managed to tear a bit from one of the fairy's wings, sending him down to the floor. His wings trembled with fear and she closed her eyes, waiting what will happen soon
A minute passed and next he was gently lifted off the ground. By human hands.
By…Human…Hands…
Dream looked up in terror, coming face to face with bright orange eyes that looked at him curiously. “I have never seen a fairy! Luckily I got you before that bird did it!” said the human, who appeared to be only a couple of years older than Dream, happily. "I have to show you to my parents!" he said before holding Dream gently to his chest and running towards his house.
Dream let out a sob, tears beginning to fall down his cheeks. He wanted to go back home but surely, the human will keep him as a pet. The human soon arrived at his house, quickly heading towards where his parents were, the living room. "Dad, papa, look what I found!" he said excitedly, holding the fairy up to his parents so they could see him.
The two adults looked at him, both with different expressions. The taller and demonic looking one, looked in surprise, while the shorter one with diamond parts on his skin, looked in shock. “But, Sapnap..”
“A bird has injured him, so I have brought him because you can help him, right?" he said, not realizing that one of his parents had left the room. "It's not that easy, Sappy... It may take a while for his wing to heal and he surely has a family to return to." Sapnap pouted.
"Please dad... Just for a few days..." He tried to convince him. The older only letting out a sigh. “Okay..- Wait, Skeppy..? Take care of the fairy for a second, I'm going to find Skeppy, okay?" Sapnap nodded looking at the fairy in his hands with a smile, not noticing his sobs.
//
Bad walked out of the living room, looking for the other around the house until he found him sitting on the bed in their shared room. "Skeppy... are you alright?" The shorter one tried to avoid the look.
"Y-Yeah, aha.. W-Why wouldn't I be?" Bad sighed approaching the other and sitting next to him. "Skeppy... what's wrong...?" he asked once more, concerned for the other.
Skeppy let out a long breath as he ran both hands over his face before looking at Bad. "Do you know the fairy that Sapnap brought?”
Bad nodded, not understanding what the fairy had to do with this. "Yeah…? Is there something wrong with that…?" He asked. “Uh… well… He… is my son…”
“He is your what!???” He said a little surprised by the revelation. Of course he knew Skeppy's secret because he told him, but he didn't know that he had a son. “I didn't know you had a son..-”
“Two. I have two... Although the other one is a little bit older... I was planning to tell you but not yet...” he said, rubbing his arm.
"Calm down Geppy, we'll take care of him for a bit of time and then we'll take him back to his home, okay?" Skeppy nodded.
“But please don't let anything happen to him..” Bad hugged his husband before leaving the room saying “Don't worry, okay? We will take good care of him."
He headed back to the living room, his eyes widening. "Sapnap!" The kid didn't look at him until he finished sucking the rest of the fairy into his mouth before swallowing. "Yeah?" He said to him with a smile. Oh God… They were going to be some very long days.
