since i have nine asks (and counting) about this situation/drama, i'm just gonna make one big ass post about it instead of addressing everything individually.
first and foremost, just to put it out there as loudly as possible: if you don't agree with me, that is totally, 1000% fine. i have never once claimed my opinion is the law of the land. HOWEVER, i will not argue with you on why i'm right or you're right or who's wrong when it comes to this whole thing. i'll be totally honest with yall, i am deeply tired of dealing with drama when it comes to snc. which is why i ask kindly that once i make this post, i stop receiving asks about this situation. this, tied with the cody and satori "controversy' has made it very hard to be in this fandom bc all the talk has been deeply annoying to deal with.
this shouldn't come as a shock to anyone, but i don't like seeing negative things about snc. i know, crazy right? that would include a lot of the shit that has been going on for weeks now ever since the conjuring. so, i'm tired. and i ask that yall just don't push me to talk more about this than i want to.
and again, if you don't agree with me, that's great. you're very much in your right to feel however you want. but this topic, to me, is not up for discussion. if you want to talk about it, go to reddit or twitter or anywhere else. i just can't be bothered to talk about this at length more than this post.
so, some of you might be majorly confused as to what the drama is even in the first place. this video was posted earlier this morning about snc and seth when they were at the bellaire house a year or so back. in it, there is security footage that was leaked to this random guy on youtube and he shows three clips of snc and seth acting inappropriately.
first clip was sam asking how they were going to outro the video and seth responded with "kristin (the owner of the bellaire house) is gonna come back and blow all three of us and then we're getting the fuck out of here." colby then says "yes" nonchalantly.
now, this clip is gross, ngl. but the thing is… seth is the one that said it. i don't think it's crazy of me to say that if anyone is apologizing, it should be him. now, was it great to see colby "agree" with him? no, of course not. it's a shame he did that. but it's not the first time guys i like have disappointed me. men are going to say inappropriate shit, especially when no women are around (which btw kristin was not in the house when the comment was said). i'm not saying this negates what happened, i'm just saying realistically shit like this happens all the time. it's not great, and i didn't like seeing that. but i also understand that shit like this happens. idk what else to say, maybe i'm just numb to it.
what makes this clip, i think, more intense, is that at the end of the video the guy shows snc and seth talking to kristin and she explains to them that she's upset at what they did (along with something else that happened). a cop comes in to give a police report (bc they broke a boo buddy) and you can hear the cop say "i watched the footage, and i would say you should charge them with sexual harassment." now, imma be honest, i didn't know a single comment could get someone charged. idk what state the bellaire house is in, but… something about that sounds wrong? but i also don't know the law so don't quote me on it. the thing is, kristin did not charge anyone with sexual harassment. and she sounded like, to me, that that was a jump the police wanted to make that she was not aiming for. most likely, the only reason she got a police report done in the first place is bc of insurance, since that is her business and having something broken usually requires some form of "proof" that it happened, aka a police report. at least, i know that's how pa runs.
i would like to also add about this part of the video, snc sent ss to this guy that posted all of this, bc they knew this was coming apparently (they really do see all), a conversation that kristin had with the guys/a team member of theirs, and she called seth's comment "thoughtless". so clearly, while she took it seriously, she didn't see it as a deeply serious threat of some sort. which is how some ppl are trying to play it off as.
moving onto the second clip, colby and seth fucked around with the boo buddy. seth grabbed a knife and "stabbed" it. we do not see this actually take place, just him making the motions of stabbing and colby not even flinching so i'm gonna assume that he wasn't actually stabbing it. later the boo buddy kept talking, and eventually colby kicked it and it broke. snc paid for this boo buddy to be replaced. now, obviously this behavior is childish. but, they paid it back. so…. i don't really know what else to say other than "yeah, it kinda sucks they did that, but they paid it back so it's done with."
to the random ppl on reddit that said "i bet snc wouldn't have even paid for it if they didn't caught"……… please consider buying a brain or using the slight bit of common sense i know you must have. do you really think they wouldn't have paid for it if they didn't catch it on camera????? bffr.
third and final clip, they're all sitting around in between takes and it looks like either, depending on the person that's watching the video, that either seth or sam said "confession number one, all this shit is fake." of course, ppl are trying to now use this as proof that snc fake their shit or they don't this seriously or whatever. my honest thoughts on this is…. we do not know the full context of why sam or seth would have said that. they could have, crazy concept, been joking. or saying something sarcastically. hell, sam was on his phone at the time, so it's possible that he was READING a comment that said this, bc he (or seth) continues and says "confession number two…" and then sam shows something to colby on his phone. so to me, this is not the smoking gun some of these ppl want it to be.
it's also noted that according to an inside source that this random man on youtube had, snc were supposed to go to the ross house and film but they weren't allowed to or would have to be supervised bc kristin told the ross house about what happened.
that was everything that happened in the video. i've basically said my peace about it. but now, i'm gonna go on a rant for moment.
to me, this feels like a desperate attempt to make a mountain out of a mole hill bc clearly some ppl don't fucking like snc and this, to them, will be the nail in the coffin since the conjuring house didn't do enough to their liking. my biggest gripe about this entire situation is that while yes, it doesn't exactly paint snc or seth in the most mature light, this was already dealt with. according to snc and their emails with the guy that leaked this footage, snc believe they are on good terms with kristin, so clearly things worked out. now if kristin comes out and says otherwise, i'll gladly listen and change my opinion accordingly. but i have sneaking suspicion that a grown woman with a business to run is not up for drama and all this dumb shit getting stirred around.
this "drama" is between snc, seth, and kristin. not us. not the general public, but them. and it has been resolved. unless other shit comes out saying otherwise, there is really not that much to discuss here, impo. the only reason this is being talked about now is bc there is already a heat placed on snc.
i mean, what a strange coincidence that i get an ask yesterday asking me if snc have ever been banned from any place, this video comes out, and an HOUR after it comes out i get an ask about it. weird, don't you think?
that being said, i get why some ppl are upset at snc or seth or all three. i get it. i'm just not one of those ppl. you're allowed to feel however you want, same as i. and with that, i'm done with this.

- sally giggles at it like julie but is a little secretive about how she thinks about it. by the way she acts she finds it unique yet adorable. she can actually keep eye contact with you but does laugh if you look at objects you're interested in and do it. “ you remind me of how moths stare at flames or go to them , starshine! it's adorable. ”
- poppy , being the motherly time , ignores it. it's a gentle way of ignoring it and even can't help but kiss your forehead if you're staring at an object or thing while doing the frog blink. she even lightly asks about it and never pushes it but does let a giggle out or two.
- eddie finds it well..funny yet unique! he says that in a gentle way but seriously he can't help but stare in such a loving way but will..lightly joke. calls you his ‘ froggy ’ and if he ever delivers letters to you expect a frog drawn on it with a lot of hearts on it! he even accidentally makes everyone else call you froggy....
- barnaby can and will joke about it only because that's in his nature . yet it will be jokes that show he loves you , if he doesn't joke around with you he might as well not be your boyfriend- he calls you “ frogster ” and somehow can hold eye contact with you and jokingly mimics you.
- howdy can't help but find it unique and adorable , always making eye contact even if you do it but if its for no reason he may be a little creeped out but just stares back usually. you're always gonna be loveable in his eyes but you're just a frog...a very lovable one.

I’ve been getting into life is strange and I was always curious. What if Mark Jefferson had a daughter and they moved because his wife just left him a note and ran off. His anger comes out and destroys the apartment. He manipulates his kid when this happens, wanting to maintain the little control he has. They move to Arcadia Bay and his kid adjusts well considering. Then he takes Nathan under his wing to help get his hobby going. "Maybe... I don't wanna imagine what terrible things those people did to her. But my mind keep distracting me, even if I don't want to think about it."
You could feel the gentle touch of his warm hands.
"Don't worry, hon. I'll keep you safe."
And with that you were convinced that your dad is there and you're more than safe with him.
• Why would he be a bad father?
I think his psychotic hobby would be more important to him than his own daughter. He would be definitely overprotective about you, but also he wouldn't be there for you. Like there's no movie night, cause again, he has things to do in the Dark Room.
Yes, he would care about his daughter, he would also be a good listener, but you rarely meet him. He wouldn't be there for you when you need him.
I don't think he would hurt his daughter physically, but don't test him. He's enough stressed about his victims.
And he would pay too much attention about keeping you safe.

Unpopular Marauders opinions
i'm bored so here are some opinions that i'm too scared to say on any other platform
Deciding that Pandora Lovegood had to be from a death eater family (Rosier, Malfoy, Lestrange) was the worst thing this fandom ever did to her character
The fannon characterisation of Marlene McKinnon gives me massive self inset pick me vibes and i hate every part of it (and i really mean every part of it)
This fandom isn't misogynistic y'all are just too demanding and expect the fandom to be the exact same as any other where we have a hardcore cannon source for every one of these characters and ships. we do not. we know more about Barty Crouch Jr then we do about Marlene McKinnon, Mary MacDonald and Dorcas Meadowes combined. it's unrealistic and stupid to expect everyone to care about the same characters and ships to the same capacity as you do when we are not watching/reading the same thing. (if any of that makes sense)
Barty Crouch Jr, Evan Rosier and pretty much every single other death eater were villains. it's okay to like them and want to expand on them but stop trying to make every bad guy secretly good
We cannot keep blaming Dumbledore for everything. Dumbledore had nothing to do with half of the deaths that you are accusing him of. blaming Dumbledore and headcannoning that he obliviated Mary and turned Regulus away and all that takes away from everyone else's characters, sacrifice and choices
The Marauders weren't child soldiers. They had a choice on if they wanted to join the Order or not and they chose to because they're Gryffindors and they're The Marauders and probably thought of themselves as some invisible hero's. They don't need to be seen as victims to Dumbledore for them to be tragic
There is a cannon and you cannot be mad at people for wanting to stick by it
Similarly Fannon Sirius is against cannon. Sirius is one of the primary adult characters in the Harry Potter series. He is literally the title character to the fan favourite book/film. We have so much information about how he acts and "oh Remus i'm your little bitch please let me sit on your lap because i'm only small" ISNT ONE OF THEM

Perfect example of why customer service is a pox on this world and why I hate my fucking job. Sorry this is so long, tried to condense as much as I could.
Guy comes to collect his food, points to the sauces with it and goes "That's it?" Ye. "I want another;" Okie dokie. Take it out to him, he looks pissed, "Seriously? That's all you're gonna give me just one?" We have a policy wherein if customers want extra sauce they have to pay like 10 cents. I explain this to him and say he can have this one extra sauce on the downlow or he can pay for as many as he wants. He sneers and walks away; interaction over right?
WRONG. He comes back later to ask for a takeaway container. I try to be really nice to customers who've been dicks just to make them feel stupid, so I know I did nothing to provoke this when responding by asking what size he'd like: small or large. This guy. This motherfucking guy decided to snark back with "I don't know why don't you be smart and show me the fucking containers?"
I go out back grab both sizes and in a pretty condescending tone go, "Here you go, small or large?"
"Are you serious, was it really that hard to do that? You could've done that the first time without the fucking attitude. Be smart next time."
"Haha k mate, what size container do you want?"
"You know what? I'm gonna go out there and find a manager, I'm gonna report you. You've got a real bad attitude, if you don't wanna be here don't fucking show up."
"Oh you want to report me to my ~manager~? I can call him for you right now! Do you want me to do that sir?"
"Yeah go on, fucking call them! They're gonna look on the cameras and see how you treated me." (He thought the cameras recorded audio, they do not, unfortunatly for me in this instance)
This whole time I haven't raised my voice once even tho he's yelling at me, I'm just keeping that overly saccharine sweet 'you're a moron and I'm patronising you' customer service voice and smile.
Ring my DM and he says he'll be over in five, I relay this to dickhead and he slinks back to the bar to wait.
I go out the back to cool off for 5 then head back out front and resume cleaning. Guess who storms back up to the register in the third part of this shitty trilogy.
"Oh so you're fucking cleaning now are you? Now that you know your manager is coming and you're on camera you're doing your job huh?" (I'm not even exaggerating the swearing, this dude dropped the F bomb almost every single sentence)
"Beg your pardon? I've been cleaning-"
"Yeah bullshit, you just want to look like you're actually working you lazy dog. I know what you're doing."
"Yeah keep talking to me like that and you're getting kicked out the front door!"
Managers showed up at that point and dude was being a dick to them too.
Cherry on top of this whole ordeal? His wife/mother/whoever the hell she was comes up and asks for a container while guy is off to her side arguing with DMs. Me being kinda a dick knowing he's listening/watching go back to default nice customer service attitude infront of him and repeat the same question: small or large? Intentionally neglecting to get the containers in a moment of pettiness. To her credit she did politely ask to see them but when I bring em out has the audacity to say: "See? If you had've just done that the first time he wouldn't have had to react like he did."
No. You. Did. Fucking. Not.
"Actually no, he was the one who decided to make a smart comment first."
"Well if you had've just brought the containers out to begin with-"
"And what stopped him from just asking politely instead of being smart about it?"
"You should've just brought the containers out, then he wouldn't have had to react the way he did."
"He didn't have to react the way he did regardless, he could've just asked me decently and there was no reason to swear at an name call me." At this point I said fuck this and walked off.
Apparently guy made remarks after this to DMs about what he'd 'do to me' if I did that to him again. So if this unhinged motherfucker comes back and reads my body language wrong I could be in shit apparently?? Okay psycho.
Trying to tell my managers to ban him but they're saying unfortunately he'd have to do more then that to be banned so it's off the table atm but they'll review it. They're semi-regulars too so this most likely won't be my last run in with this moron
This is very specific and if, for whatever snowflakes chance in hell, the people who this is about see it and realise this is them and I'm that employee: you're a bunch of dogs with no manners who should stay the fuck home. You've got issues that clearly need sorting out and if you're gonna flip over one fucking takeaway container then stay out of the public thanks.

"What?" I say as he leaves the bed.
"Remember our conversation the other day?"
"We talk daily and about the most random things, Pedri. I need you to be more specific."
"When you complained about the Christmas performance."
"Oh, that one. What about it?"
"Remember what you said about a costume?"
"A cos… No. No, no, no, no."
"Yes" Pedri smirks, walking back to the bed with a Christmas bag.
"You didn't."
"I did."
"I don't want it."
"It's a present, Val. You can't say no to it."
"Yes, I can."
"You haven't even seen it."
"But I can imagine it."
"And can you also imagine everything I can do to you while you wear it?" he asks, arching an eyebrow and giving me that smile that he knows makes my knees feel like jelly.

"We still have like an hour left until my family arrives and we have to start getting ready for dinner. So put it on and let me give you the best orgasm of your life."
"What?" I laugh. Though it comes out as a nervous laugh.

I recently stumbled upon your art the other day, and I couldn't stop staring at your gallery.. It makes me realize there is so much thats lacking from my art that I really want to improve on. I felt desperate to contact you, but wasn't sure if it would be rude.
I wanted to try to ask you, how do you approach drawing? Do you structure it first, or start with a gesture drawing? Focus on the form or perspective first? Etc
My other question might seem strange, but I wanted to ask how do you hold your pencil? Ive learned that different pencil grips can drastically change the quality of someone's art.

I'm glad to answer your questions, it's seriously no problem. I wanna start by telling you how amazed I was when I checked your profile to see your work. I know you have a huge lack of confidence in it, but your art is genuinely beautiful, and frankly, looking at it, I found it hard to believe that you would be asking me for advice...from my perspective, you're way ahead of me. You're certainly better with color; you might notice I really only post sketches lol. I really don't want to dismiss or downplay your feelings about it, but I have to let you know how I felt looking at it. To me it seems like your brain is telling you your art isn't good enough when it very, very much is.
Anyway, enough gushing from me lol. On to your questions.
Usually when starting a drawing, I very loosely and lightly sketch the overall form of the pose I wanna do. Very rough basic shapes/forms to get everything in its right place before I start really drawing it with confident lines. Even then, all the lines are subject to change; nothing is sacred. To be honest tho, I usually mess up the proportions and have to fix them a bit lol. I try to sketch cleanly and concisely, meaning I try not to draw a lot of lines in a spot that could really be done with just one or two. I'm not super strict on that tho, at the end of the day while I try to draw efficiently, I also want to draw comfortably. So with something like a big circle for example, I'll draw that pretty sketchy. In terms of perspective, I'm trying to get better at it, but when considering how I want to use it in a drawing, it's part of the initial image or idea I have in my head, so I lay it out from the beginning. I do also draw structure lines on the face, just a simple cross to plan where the center of the face will be. Lately I've also tried taking more pictures of myself for pose reference and it works well.
Most of my practice comes from studying my favorite artists and trying to emulate the specific ways they structure their drawings. I should actually be doing dedicated practice sessions with that, but I digress. Recently I've been trying to practice from photos first thing in the morning, tho I'm finding it hard to commit to doing it daily. I just go on pinterest and find cool poses, then draw them, trying to get down the basic shapes and prominent features more than focusing on minute details. I've posted some of these practice sketches on here but there's a few more on my twitter if you wanna see what I'm talking about.
In terms of my pencil grip, I'm not sure...since I was little, I've always had an unusual grip. Looking it up, I guess it's like the "dynamic quadrupod" grip, but with my forefinger farther back. Really the most I try to do is draw less with my wrist and more with my forearm. Some say you should "draw from the shoulder", and that sounds right...I guess it's all about avoiding straining your wrist and getting carpal tunnel lol.
Anyway, I'm flattered that you would ask me for advice. To be honest, it makes me feel like I should have more confidence in my own art. And you should too! I can say that, objectively, your art is very good. I hope my advice was actually helpful and not generic stuff you've heard before lol. Good luck in your art journey.

That scene where they hug on the bridge and Vi does that like, face pet thing before walking off and they're clearly both in AGONY at being separated?! Are you really that fucking oblivious??? Jesus H Christ. Yes She-Ra made it SUPER OBVIOUS because some people are BAD AT PICKING UP THIS SHIT also She-Ra is aimed at kids and they haven't learned subtlety. Arcane was aimed at adults.)
no really I've seen people express surprise that people think they're going to be a couple. when that ^ was after they'd known each other like two hours
(seriously tho, if you can handle violence (there's a LOT ngl, it is not a show for kids) then you should watch Arcane, the people who make it have made it pretty clear that it's gonna be canon, and the next season is out in November; but also leaving shipping aside it's just REALLY, REALLY GOOD)

Entrapta teaches Wrong Hordak how to wink and it's so cute. I also love that she explains what it means--because I'm sure she had to consciously learn it, too: "It signals unspoken intent behind my words. In this case, our mutual deception of the Horde. Now you try."

Also, note to self, Melog definitely understands human speech--they split up, Catra is told to stick with Entrapta and Melog (and Catra frowns at this, just barely) and Adora tells Melog to keep them safe and it does a little noise of affirmation. (wait is Melog a he or a she or a they?)(fan wiki says it's an it but dang I feel weird using "it")
Okay so the scene where Glimmer, Adora, and Bow hide in a shop and then end up arguing with the shopkeeper is like, fascinating on multiple levels
Because on the one hand: I can't blame the townspeople for just keeping their head down and trying to get out alive. On the other hand, reporting them to the Horde isn't cool; they could just pretend not to be suspicious of these guys; there are in fact lots of places on the spectrum between "actively collaborating with one's oppressors" and "mounting a full-scale armed rebellion."
But on the other other hand I also think it's interesting that Adora's the only one of the three who's like "nah dude just let these people live their lives omg," something about Adora having lived in an oppressive environment for her whole childhood maybe

Anyway Spinerella found them ack
Also Melog steals an apple for Catra, just magically takes it from someone's basket and into Catra's hand, which implies they're communicating non-verbally more than just moods, though I suppose "hungry, that apple looks good" is a mood

(Adora is saying it) Catra's right there, dude. You spent the last four seasons fighting her. lol.

Back on Horde Prime's ship, Hordak keeps looking at the chip thing Entrapta gave him and gets caught by Prime, whoopsie
oh hey, lore: Horde Prime can't access ALL the memories in his previous bodies without going into them, and he keeps his old bodies around in that green goo, that's fucking weird and gross, anyway he plugs a connection into his old body
Horde Prime: "The First Ones sought a new source of power of ancient worlds. Why? Why bend themselves to the whims of magic and myth?"
Poor Hordak has flashbacks to Entrapta and the Fright Zone. Mostly Entrapta. Including a moment of her looking at him fondly--I think it's the moment when she says "Imperfection is beautiful."
Horde Prime: "The fools took their secrets with them when they died. But I will find another way."
(I've seen a fan discussion suggest that there aren't actually any First Ones left--that when Light Hope made it so Adora came through the portal, the portal itself went back in time. I like that explanation in part because it means in my fic I don't have to figure out why Adora doesn't go looking for her birth family. Which tbh most fic-writers don't worry about anyway lol.)
Back with the rebellion, poor Catra is once again trying not to lose her lunch because they've all teleported.
And Netossa is like WTF IS THAT BITCH DOING HERE
Melog doesn't like that
Adora: "It's a long story, but she's with us now"
Netossa: "...really??"
(Catra in the background: hisses)
BAHAHA and then Netossa spots Wrong Hordak and they have to explain, no that one's with us, too 😬
But yeah p much the entire rebellion has been chipped except like Netossa and Perfuma
Adora and Bow have a guilt trip about having been gone for so long (...to rescue the queen! and also Catra)
and Catra's remembering what it's like to be chipped :(
Glimmer gives them all a ra-ra little speech

there's a great moment when Catra's like "you go deal with Spinnerella we'll take care of the bots" and Adora says "be careful" and Catra grins and says "always am!" like ma'am that is a LIE
Spinnerella is torturing some poor villager, and Netossa is worried her wife isn't still "in there"

She transforms into She-Ra and Netossa literally does a whistle of appreciation and says, "New look?" and She-Ra grins back. And somehow that is, like. Super queer. Like literally just one lesbian to another, in a flirty-but-not kinda way. Like I have *had* those interactions, where the underlying meaning is "I know we're each in a relationship, so I'm not actually hitting on you; but as one queer woman to another I want you to know that I see what you're putting out there and I like it." It's one of the best things??????
Netossa gives a little speech to Spinnerella about how she loves her and Spinnerella actually comes back for a few seconds ;_; but then she's gone again, but She-Ra and Netossa convince her to disappear for a while at least? And the locals rejoice.
And Catra would know. ;_; (She rubs the back of her neck after saying this.)
Anyway word gets back to Horde Prime that She-Ra is back on Etheria :D and he's so fucking pissed he's going to go there
...and Hordak spends a long moment looking at that chip from Entrapta again
They go to where the rebellion is actually hiding out, Glimmer and Catra recognize it
and I'M BLANKING ON WHY THEY'RE REACTING THIS WAY HELP seriously I have spent like ten minutes trying to figure it out, I don't think they talked about it while on Horde Prime's ship? Fuck!! IF YOU KNOW PLZ TELL ME
Any Perfuma ties them up and makes sure they're not chipped and then it's Happy Reunion Time with everyone :D

Because it's Holy Week. I'm going to be in church like every day starting Wednesday and twice a couple of days ahahaha including an hour in the middle of the night on Thursday.
It is DEEPLY HILARIOUS to me that I'm going to end up watching the last episodes of She-Ra mere days before Easter. Like I literally have four left. Assuming I watch one tomorrow, I could end up watching the next one Tuesday night and watching the last two BEFORE GOING TO CHURCH ON WEDNESDAY how tf am I gonna focus for SHIT lolol

I heard a phrase once that goes something like "growth lies outside the comfort zone".
And holy shit my dudes. It's right.
In just 9 days I've spent at a hospital, I changed. I can't say "completely", but... Wait, no, I can!
I came out of the hospital a different person than the one who entered it, and I genuinely mean it. I described it in many ways. "As if somebody broke me out of my shell", "like I don't have a layer I used to have" or simply "I'm back". It feels... So good, yet so unfamiliar.
Everyone I talked to since I came home who knew me before then, is shocked. They say I smile more, I have a completely different energy, they say I got my spark back that I used to have when I was a child.
I think what happened was the result of many, many things, but mainly:
• Being forced to confront my trauma head on
Hospitals. I had some very painful surgeries, as well as painful and humiliating testing done when I was a child. It screwed me up in so many ways that I can't even articulate to this day. I experienced A Lot of physical and emotional pain during this recent hospital stay. I didn't run from it, couldn't. And I do have to say it contributed to my experience, can't describe in what way exactly just yet.
• Having no privacy and thus, no space to suffer in silence. And thus, having no choice but to let people in
Sharing a room with 4 people, I hardly had any space for myself, except for my bed and nightstand. I tend to cry all by myself when I'm going through something. At the hospital I was going through A Lot, and yet I couldn't hide from curious eyes.
• Having people do many uncomfortable things to my body, and having to just go with it
Well, it's not like I didn't have a say in whether certain things happened to me. I could potentially protest if I didn't want to have some testing done or didn't want someone to wipe me down etc. But my desire to reach a diagnosis was so strong that my limitations in that regard dissolved rapidly. Plus, like. These people are at work. I'm not gonna let my embarrassment keep them from getting their jobs done. Otherwise we would be here all day.
• Being taken seriously, but gently
I was faced with so much kindness during my hospital stay. It helped me remember that somewhere out there the world can be really kind and that there are good people out there. I think I completely forgot about that.
• Being given hope
I didn't realise just how much I had given up on myself and just life in general, over the past few months. And yet I had people gently hold my hands on 3 separate occasions and tell me "It's gonna be okay". How does one not start to believe it even just a little bit after that?
• Being reminded of my passions
I had a very intense talk with the head of the department that took me in. He asked me about my gifts and abilities, and pointed out other ones I missed. I kept finding myself thinking of more I could've mentioned days later.
• Being shown a way forward
This ties in with the point I made two paragraphs before, but I do think it deserves it's separate section. Along with the hope that I might get a full diagnosis, and that what I'm suffering from right now is reversible, I had a spark lit up in me, one that I lost a long, long time ago. I was reminded that I love to learn new things, and that I want to go and study new topics. I'm going back to uni! This time a post-graduate program tho, I'm not pursuing a degree (◡ ω ◡)
So, there you have it. I knoooow that these are highly personal and subjective, but I'd regret if I didn't share my experiences and observations even a little bit. If by sharing this I inspire just one person to do and change something, or to look at things differently, I would consider it as a job well done.

also it makes me happy when authors refer to the canon universe in their fics somewhere like when dazai called his friends his "little detective agency" like its a small detail but it just makes me happy.

I'd pay postage and everything 🙏🙏 i wish i had the patience to bind fics into books but it requires so much time and patience that I don't have 😭
My only thing I would want to say is that I plan on revising some of the earlier chapters where it doesn't quite flow the way the rest of the chapters do, so if I finish it before I've done that (which probably won't happen, but just in case), I would recommend waiting a little!
ANYWAY. making an entire tumblr acc just to interact with me here? ...that's dedication man🫡 I already said it but I appreciate EVERY comment i get so i will be waiting with baited breath after every chapter!!
Glad you're loving the angst tho, I'm having a lot of the time throwing dazai and chuuya into a washing machine full of stones every chapter. great character building.
The reveals are gonna be so fun I can't wait to write them honestly. I'm so excited!!! Still got ages to go tho, so strap in it's gonna be a while.

Alright. My most recent foray into the Izzy drama has revealed to me that there is a problem in the Izzy stan community, and I love helping the less fortunate so I'm going to give the people a little crash course in how to use tumblr. Me and many of my mutuals have done some or all of the things that I'm about to show you in the interest of a more enjoyable tumblr experience. This is directed at a specific tumblr community but is universally helpful so if it breaks containment I am sorry.
We're gonna start off with the basics here. Blocking people. If you see a post you don't like. If you think a take is horrible. A person is just giving you bad vibes? HIT DA BRICKS my friends. You can never see another post from this person by clicking on their blog, clicking on the elipses, and hitting that block button. Thank you to my beloved mutual @ourflagmeansgayrights for letting me use your blog to display what I'm talking about.
I understand that some people might feel bad about blocking someone. You shouldn't tho. The person might find out and get a little salty, but you don't know them and they can't do anything about it so who cares? I personally have over 40 blogs blocked and honestly I should have more.
Next, onto something a little more challenging. filtered content. You're gonna want to go to your settings. here's a picture with the directions to the settings menu helpfully highlighted.
When you click on the settings it'll take you to a page like this
I have already scrolled down a bit. You can scroll down until you see the portions that I have ever so helpfully highlighted. You're gonna want to click the little pen icon on the far right. When you do it should look like this.
You're gonna want to type exactly what I've typed into that box, and then you're gonna want to hit that Add button. When you do it will appear at the bottom of your filtered tags list like this.
Congradulations. You don't have to look at another post that's mean to Izzy. I know I sometimes tag posts that are not that mean to Izzy as izzy critical because I know you guys will hate it and I want to spare you, so please. It's for your own good. and it takes about 20 seconds.
Finally, turning off anons. I've seen a lot of you complain about anon death threats. I get those too. I just delete them when they come in my ask box because I don't actually take them that seriously but if they're bothering you there is a way to get rid of them for good, and you are already half way there if you're in the settings menu blocking the Izzy critical tag.
On the side of the settings menu theres a little list of all your blogs. You're gonna want to select the one you don't want to get anons in. You have to do it separately for each blog but it's pretty easy.
It's gonna take you to a page where you can edit your blog. You want to scroll down until you see this
And then you just want to smack that second button. You can even smack the first if you don't want to receive questions at all, but if the anons are your problem I'd recommend the second one
Anyway, hope this helps, because literally everyone I know does some or all of these things in order to mitigate online harassment and curate our online experience. Obviously if someone really wants to harass you they're going to. Some of my mutuals with anon turned off have had people make burner accounts to message them. But the great thing about that is, you can just block the burner.
OH! I nearly forgot! There's one more thing you can do. Say you don't want to turn off anon, but you keep getting one really annoying bitch in your inbox and you suspect its the same person twice because of the affect or whatever. Guess what. If you click the three dots next to the message you can block them too!!! I've sent two nasty anons to the shadow realm this way. I would have sent more but unfortunately you cant delete the message after you do this so it leaves a number in your inbox even if it's not there anymore. I prefer to just delete them unless someone is spamming me.
Also if you don't like my tone in this post I'm giving you permission to use the information contained within this post to hit that block button babey. See you never. I'd love to be your first block. I'll pop your block cherry for you baby. It'll be so satisfying.

I just finished playing bugsnax in like 3 days (didn't unlock everything tho) and literally every couple has potential to have MC as their 3rd. Filbo has the most potential bc of how much he obsessed over Liz 1st and now he's ur roommate! And he knows ur not crazy! Tho Liz and eggabell could've trapped u w/ them as part of the bugsnax queen,,, lots of potential in this game, they all depend on u so much how could they not fall in love a little too much. Also I love ur work!

Wambus and Triffany would feel themselves indebted to you for all you've done to them! And... Well, their relationship wasn't in the best shape before you came along, isn't that proof that you and they are meant to be? Plus, Wambus is far too stubborn to let you go. You've helped them so much and they care about you so dearly, won't you let them take care of you in return, hon? They just wanna dote on you, it's what you deserve!
And Chandlo and Snorpy just want to protect you! And... Take care of you. And spend every moment with you. And keep you hidden from the outside world, far from the clutches of The Grumpinati and their attempts to hurt you or take you away- or, well, maybe that's just Snorpy's paranoia talking. And Chandlo knows it's not good to feed into his boyfriend's worries, but when it comes to, well, Chandlo doesn't want to take a risk, either!
Chandlo'll wrap his arms tight around you in a hug to keep you still and safe in his arms. Being really good at hugging and protecting the people he loves is why he wanted to get strong in the first place! Well, half the reason. The other half was to be really good at basketball and also lifting houses. He'll hold you and nuzzle against you while Snorpy studies you and draws diagrams and even conducts his own interviews! Though, they'll before his and Chandlo's ears only...
Lizbert and Eggabell are even more protective of you than they are for, well, each other. It makes you feel coddled. Lizbert is ecstatic when Eggabell comes along on hunting trips, but both of them insist you stay in town (where it's safe!), and, uh, you know, just keep watch. Even if you try to sneak out after them, they'll fuss over you and ask if you're hurt the moment they find you - and the entire way as they walk you back to Snaxburg.
And as much you're happy to find both of them alive and... Relatively well, your heart sinks when you realize you won't be leaving Snaktooth Island with everyone else. Don't worry, though, all you need is them....
To Filbo, you are... Everything. His light in the dark. His hero. His buddy. His best friend. His Soulmate!! I mean, it makes sense, doesn't it? You believed in him. You tool him seriously. You always reassured him and never made him feel bad about himself. And yousaved him! You saved everyone. It's only right that he show the same care... The same love you showed him. You mean the world to him. He can't take his eyes off of you, so don't worry if you feel eyes burning into the back of your head or feel hot breath on the back of your neck, heh. And if he wins the election, his first action as mayor will be using all of his power to be able to keep you all to himself and treat you like you deserved to be.
Floofty would probably come off the most... Strange. You could feel their gaze on you throughout the entirety of your stay on Snaktooth. You were sure they hated you. They'd purposefully bump into you, insult and talk down to you, force you to gather supplies for experiments with no thanks in return. And when they weren't acting like a menace toward you, they'd hole themselves up in their hut or in the wrecked ship outside of town to do goodness knows what.

I don't want to come off as rude please don't take it as offense but I don't think guren is actually taken accountable, maybe by fandom on certain matter but narrative pretty much white washed most of his actions & whatever is left will be done in future I don't have any doubts about that. I'm not even saying this as his hater because I used to defend him before a lot but with how kagami is going right now I don't think ons wi have any 'good' ending because kagami makes characters do some heinous & evil things that cannot be undone but then justify it later on even if it make sense or not. As for mahiru, im not asking you to see her from different perspective if you don't like her I understand she's just too far gone as character even I feel uncomfortable with her. But consider this for a second, she don't actually have her own character, her personality revolves around guren most of time even tho she have her own traumatic past but none of it ever get mentioned let alone explored, she's just an accessory for guren so pushing most hate on her for what author is doing is kinda stupid cause no one is putting gun on his head to write that & logically speaking a person like mahiru who loves her own standing & hates when others cannot go all out like her wouldn't actually fall for someone like guren it's just author who fixated her on him so he can write gurens story. As for constant glorification of beauty, she was 16 don't you think author is very weird with how he was sexualizing a minor through narrative in every weird way possible? & why I think this needs to be talked more when addressing all those "mahiru goddess" complains is because he's really weird for that, 1st he sexualizes kids a lot be it shikama saying toddler looking mikayuu to breed, ferid's mansion having kids in very suggestive clothing in mikaela novels & kids literally r4p!ng eachother on same novels, kureto using r4p3 threats baby shinoa, sayuri & shigure just there to get stripped time to time, mitos assault end up becoming more about how much hurt guren is, & 10 yo mahiru mocking about putting seeds in her to shinya like that's not normal & mahiru isn't any exception. Take it as grain of salt but when it comes to actual criticism ons fandom tend to not talk about what's actually weird about the writing aside from bad writing & hiragi sisters getting in way by doing something dumb & irredeemable ons fans only ever address it when they're really pissed off by chapter or hit the ceiling with patience. oh don't worry, you're good! i've talked about these things before and don't really want to repeat myself again so i'm sorry if this answer is short. but yes, kagami definitely messed up with guren recently and i don't think anyone that seriously likes him on a deeper level disagrees. i'm all up for criticising him, i just think that the fandom has been beating his ass enough for the last 3 and a half years. especially now that Mx. 'I Cause Pain And Suffering To Get My Loved Ones Back Version 2.0' Doji has entered the stage and is somehow getting glorified to hell and back for it.
you guys keep making me think about mahiru please stop i don't wanna. i'm gonna be mean to her and say i think her obsession with guren mostly stems from the weird fantasy she's got going on in her head with the forbidden romance and her prince freeing her from the clutches of her family, so it could have been any guy naïve enough to fall for her brainwashing. insert "she's in love with the idea of guren, not guren himself" paragraph here. she's weird, i don't get her, i want to think about nicer things. like byakkomaru's paw pads. they're good.

and i've seen plenty of criticism towards the consant SA mentions and really odd descriptions of the girls - it's the first thing anyone talks about when someone asks whether or not they should read catastrophe. we're all aware of it, we all hate it, but it's useless to complain about the same thing over and over again. kissies
