- wally noticed your distant behavior , even noticing you locking yourself in your home for days and days on end only to go purchase things from howdy. he had gotten worried with how your behavior changed he was even worried he did something wrong. but that couldn't be it , he had given you a painting the day before you started to distance yourself!

- he took it upon himself to go visit your home with a freshly made pie (given to by poppy) , he gently knocked on the door but when you opened the door your face was...red? “ hi neighbor , I've been worried about you so..I decided to get you a gift. why have you become so disant? ”

- you were silent but sighed. “ I can't be around you anymore , I think I'm sick! ” this comment made wally tilt his head at you. “ my heart speeds up when I'm around you and I feel like I get butterflies in my stomach , I don't wanna get you sick! ” wally was processing what you said before he blushed a bit.

- wally is practically attached to you because of your ability , one you can't control but he still finds it fascinated that you can grow fruit from your hair. in all honesty he's probably accidentally ate (blinked) a few unripe apples from your hair and has practically stood there in shock.

- It's a ability you can't control but you got used to it , even just giving some of the fruit that is ripe enough to be picked to howdy so he can sell them or giving poppy apples so she can make apple pies on holidays.

- but wally is more of a looker whenever you have apples growing , on this day he was standing close to you and just admiring the few ripe apples till one suddenly fell right on it his head causing him to jump. he shrugged it off and kept looking till it was another.. then another. you noticed the small thuds and looked at wally who just had multiple apples falling on him but he didn't have a care in the WORLD.

- you had been briandead with any ideas for a new movie , it had been already 2 years since your last one was filmed and shown to the public. you were born into this lifestyle but you were always glad you were given such a life. after finding a small place called the neighborhood you decided to take a visit and maybe stay a while.

- it was sudden but all the neighbors were glad to meet you ( julie even had a little fangirl moment ) but you were interested in the home in the middle of the neighborhood. a few small knocks at the door was all it took for the blue haired fellow to open his door. “ oh , you must be y/n..I already got a call by how you were in town by a very excited julie. ha. ha. ” “ o-oh uhm , yes! - you'd never seen someone's stare be so intense but you ignored it as you sat down and let wally pour you a glass of apple juice. you looked around and noticed some painting supplies around. “ you..paint? ” “ oh yes , painting is a hobby but it takes up most of my time. ” “ can I maybe watch you? that may be a weird request but I'm very curious. ” all wally did was give you a smile and get everything set up , even being nice enough to pull a stool up for you as well to make it easier to watch.

- watching wally paint was relaxing and slipped you out of your busy mindset , he was a slow painter and watching him even add the smallest detail was an enjoyable thing to watch. that was till it clicked in your head suddenly. “ wally..how about I just make a movie about this? ” “ ..what? ” “ about all this! my busy mindset being soothed by watching you paint , I can easily make a movie of it! ” wally laughed as he watched you pace back and forth. “ I would enjoy that idea , it's very unique. ”

- wally finds it..normal funny enough. if you do in unintentionally he won't mind a bit even if you're staring at him during a conversation. hell he may even laugh and jokingly say “ that's a..interesting blink , dearest. ” “ what do you mean? ” “ oh nothing.. ” now if its INTENTIONALLY done he again , doesn't react in the slightest. he's probably seen much weirder so your silly little frog blink isn't much to him.

- julie can't help but giggle at it even if you're staring at something else or talking with someone else. she finds it silly yet adorable! if you blink at her that way she can't help but gently hold your face and say “ you look like an adorable froggy! ” and give you a kiss on the forehead. even if you do it intentionally it don't seem weird to her , she's going to find it cute in her own special way no matter what.

- frank is more of the ones who gets disturbed ever so slightly by the fact you frog blink at people or objects. sometimes he'll flinch if you blink at him but always quickly apologizes about his reaction and even if he's been dating you for some time he'll still jump. “ oh jeez I'm sorry butterfly , I'm just..I'd rather not say creeped out by it. it's just interesting! ” he tries to say that in a positive way and will make up for it by kisses and hugs...your his strange partner and he loves it in some form.

- sally giggles at it like julie but is a little secretive about how she thinks about it. by the way she acts she finds it unique yet adorable. she can actually keep eye contact with you but does laugh if you look at objects you're interested in and do it. “ you remind me of how moths stare at flames or go to them , starshine! it's adorable. ”

- poppy , being the motherly time , ignores it. it's a gentle way of ignoring it and even can't help but kiss your forehead if you're staring at an object or thing while doing the frog blink. she even lightly asks about it and never pushes it but does let a giggle out or two.

- eddie finds it well..funny yet unique! he says that in a gentle way but seriously he can't help but stare in such a loving way but will..lightly joke. calls you his ‘ froggy ’ and if he ever delivers letters to you expect a frog drawn on it with a lot of hearts on it! he even accidentally makes everyone else call you froggy....

- barnaby can and will joke about it only because that's in his nature . yet it will be jokes that show he loves you , if he doesn't joke around with you he might as well not be your boyfriend- he calls you “ frogster ” and somehow can hold eye contact with you and jokingly mimics you.

- howdy can't help but find it unique and adorable , always making eye contact even if you do it but if its for no reason he may be a little creeped out but just stares back usually. you're always gonna be loveable in his eyes but you're just a frog...a very lovable one.

- even if this was a genderswapped wally , she'd still be called wally. nothing much would change besides small bits of her behavior (and apperance of course along with her now wearing a long ankle length skirt thats the same pattern as m!wallys pants don't ask,,) and she's a LOT less possessive as her male counterpart but is still wanting you to herself all the time. “ dearesttt why can you stay at home? you said you'd paint with me today. ” “ I'm sorry wally , poppy needs me to help bake- ” with her big eyes she'd stare and grab your hand. “ poppy doesn't need you , I do. ”

- she is a lot more manipulative though , she uses her cuteness to her advantage and if you say no she'd just force you to stay. she even says you'll be able to do her hair and curl it , isn't that fun? she just wants to keep you safe and away from some others. she only trusts you around barnaby surprisingly enough. she's not really scared to show her true nature and barley hides it , she just wants to be drilled into your head like how a worm eats its way into an apple.

- she does want to be babied more I must admit , if you don't do that she can either ignore you or force it. she's a lot more toned down in public but behind closed doors she almost drops the cutesy act. as much as she loves you she just wants your eyes on her! in return she'll smother you in kisses.

- she is the same as m!wally with her obsession of painting you. that's one of the handful of things they have in common is how much they DESIRE to paint you and praise you. she even asks for you to pose in pretty or handsome outfits so she can have a..collection in a sense. she's always proud of herself of how she makes you look! she'll be proud for days and days after.

- I'd say she's really more of a ‘yandere/lovesick’ type than m!wally. she is almost as aggressive and holds in emotions so if she ever had to she'd let them all out on you unlike how m!wally keeps it to himself in any situation. she's more harsh manipulation where m!wally's is gentle and sweet.

The Jessica Rabbit!Reader asks have me in such a chokehold, but it got me thinking how did Wally bag a baddie like reader? I personally like to believe that reader came to a play Sally was putting on, looked as wally on stage, and just told themselves: “that one, I want that one. - you had went to one of sally's plays , they were silly but always made you giggle. this time it was just simple singing of a song sally made and worked on. you felt your heart flutter as you saw wally , hair done so nicely and a fancy outfit that made him stand out in just the way you liked. how couldn't you go and talk to him after the show?

- oh and little nicknames... he calls you dearest mostly but when you call him hunny bunny he is over the MOON. it makes him red and giggly , hearing your sweet voice call him something like that is so nice to his ears. he calls you something romantic but THAT couldn't beat anything else.

- the idea of going to the beach was julie's idea from the start , running in one day and rambling about how they should go to the beach because its summer and its hot- it became a bigger ramble session but everyone agreed BESIDES wally who was dragged by you.

- as wally packed you swore you saw him pout. “ wally , are you pouting because you have to be away from home for a few hours? ” “ no , I hate the sun. ” he said in a almost cold tone and picked his bag up. “ now let's go , I won't enjoy it. ”

- as soon as you got to the beach he set up his own little area for you and him but if you go swim he almost gets upset. he hates water so he sits on his towel while eating watermelon or even sipping a drink with a swirly straw he brought. if you DO come back and lay down to relax or even read he'll be right on you not caring if your still covered in salt water he's just clingy-

- he actually has swim wear which is a pair of rainbow swim trunks and a button up thats the same pattern as most of his shirts. If you call him handsome or anything of the sort he'll glare but is very flattered.

- if you are bold enough to pick him up and force him to swim he WON'T be happy. you gently lift him up , he's expecting you to maybe and take him to get a slushie but you were walking towards the water. “ d..dearest the slushie stand is- ” “ we'll get that AFTER. you aren't gonna be a sour puss and not enjoy the water! ” no matter how much convincing you could do he'd ONLY stand at least at knee high water.

- you had looked away for a MINUTE and a wave had made him fall back and get his hair wet which you KNEW would be one of the things he'd get onto you for. you giggled as wally grabbed onto your leg , his hair covering his eyes and ruined. he didn't say a word and just held on till you picked him up. “ awh I'm so sorry wally! I didn't mean to..pff- ” “ you did mean to. now please I want my apple slushie to forget this. ”

- once he got his slushie you put a towel to his head and ruffled his hair to dry it , he sometimes acted like an over grown child but the same time can be terrifying.. there was no in between. you also noticed (somehow) he was just RED on some parts of his body. “ wally , do you..even get a slight tan? ” “ I burn. ” “ o..oh? ” you assumed he meant he just gets red because his skin (plush?) refuses to get any darker or accept sun.

- in all honesty most of the trip is wally laying on you and being curled up with a cold drink in his hand. you'll be lucky enough to see him watching barnaby and the others playing volleyball but his attention is on you the entire trip. he wants to be close and held no matter what , hell if you get sunburnt with him laying on you you'll get wally on you for a while..he'd be happy about that.

I know this isn't a request and you can delete this if you want too! But I just wanted to say I absolutely adore the way you write for the characters, it's absolutely wonderful!
