Pride for Moms Inspiration for this hit me like a truck. I had to get it down before pride was over. I always tossed around the idea that Samantha would eventually date years later after Blake's passing, but all scenarios with another man just made things complicated for Shadow. But if she started dating a woman? Well, it seems like Shadow keeps collecting mother figures in his life, he's got three of them already why not add a fourth? So meet Amara Outley! She's a Muneris like the rest of them who can manipulate sound - volume, pitch, can replicate other sounds perfectly, and can warp sounds to produce new ones. Like a human soundboard! These two met at a meet and greet in Calvatrace and instantly hit it off. At the start of the story, they've already been dating for a year or so, so Shadow's already gotten used to Amara and they get along great. It's a rare occasion to have a mom who can game with you. It's been a while since I got some good character development for Shadow, this is fun! Glad to have Amara in the roster!

Total for 2022: 194 books (91 audiobooks including 5 re-read), 48 new authors Not bad. I think about 200 books is my number. I’m gonna slow down in 2023 though, with a goal of no more than 10 books a month–and it’s already a lot. I have other projects; I also fear I’ll get bored, and I don’t want that. I reached my Goodreads challenge of 180 books, yay! I didn’t finish the Shhhlut reading…

The probable retirement albums is what I discuss. I agree that you cannot say Samantha James, for instance, stopped doing music after Subconscious, her social feed speaks otherwise. However, her output tells another story. Then again, the scene she continues to be a part of doesn't really have much use for the LP format. I have tried to understand this phenomenon before, though I still haven't found the answer here. The latter might have something to do with her lack of opus since Subconscious. She could also be more interested in EPs or singles, these two provide dance singers with a greater clarity than the longform platters possibly could. Their genre remains within the set of rules that might have sounded out of place in the other idioms, so James' silence feels normal.

You'd had a fucking terrible day. You got no sleep because your newborn daughter, Samantha, needed constant attention. Then you had to go out to water the crops and feed the animals, which took hours even with Shane's help because you had to take breaks to care for Samantha. You finally got a chance to relax around three o'clock, but that ended quickly because Samantha had to be fed. Then you made dinner, fed the baby again, and finally, around eleven, you got the first moment of peace you'd had in the last twenty-four hours. And you took that opportunity to spend some quality time with your husband.

"Honey..." you moaned as Shane's lips latched onto your neck.

You felt him smile against your skin. "Shh... don't wanna wake Sammy," he whispered, pressing another kiss into your neck.

You nodded and made a motion of zipping your lips shut.

Shane chuckled and resumed his assault on your neck as his fingers began working at the buttons on your shirt.

Your hands found the hem of his t-shirt and you swiftly pulled it up and over his head, discarding it on the floor. He did the same to you, sliding your shirt off your shoulders and tossing it off to the side with his.

Shane’s hands then moved to your bra, fingers undoing the clasp while his eyes drank in your body. “Shit, you’re so beautiful…” he whispered, slipping your bra off to reveal your breasts. His hands moved to cup them, kneading his fingers into the soft flesh.

You moaned and arched into his touch. “Shane…”

You pulled your panties off but decided to leave the skirt.

Shane pulled his finger out of you, chuckling when you whined at the loss, and then pushed it back in, just as slow and gentle as the first time. "You close? You're fucking squeezing me."

You giggled breathlessly, panting as you grinded against him. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm gonna cum."

"Yeah? Cum, honey. C'mon. Wanna feel it," Shane moaned.

You took the opportunity to tease him. "Quiet, Shane. You'll wake up Sam," you whispered.

"Can't have that," he responded, a smirk playing on his lips. He began to thrust harder at that, chasing after both yours and his releases.

His finger pumped in and out of your ass faster now, his other hand finding your clit. The combined sensations had you cumming around him in seconds, moaning loudly as white-hot pleasure washed over you.

It makes me legit sad there aren't more scouse actors and most the ones whom are have to hide it.

i know stephen graham talked about it and the class stigma against it and choosing not to hide it, which jodie comer talked about how he inspired her to not hide her scouse accent as well. i hope the tides turn on this especially when some of if not the majority of the UK’s best actors are from the north and midlands anyways, when given the access and opportunities. (shout out nottingham tv and film workshop which gave us jack oc, bella ramsey, samantha morton, ewan mitchell, vicky mcclure, joe dempsie, michael socha, christopher eccelston, and shane meadows)

there really is a whole discussion to be had about class and accessibility to the arts in the UK with programs being cut in schools, or programs that were once free cost insane amounts that low income families dont have. (it’s very similar to the US rn). jack oc has talked about that. and hell a simple decision like making skins open casting gave us a generation of talent we may not have gotten to see otherwise. would jodie have the career she does if stephen didnt get her with his agent?

and this is all doubly true for black and non white actors who have even less access, so i def understand why a lot of them come to the US— which that is a whole discussion in itself.

dont get me wrong i’m by no means a leading expert in this topic, just an enjoyer of good shows and movies and actors and haaaaaaaaate seeing good talent go to waste purely because they dont have the same access as posh RADA actors with dynastic lineages.
