i read the most beautiful, gut-wrenching, jaw-dropping fanfiction the other day and it was UNEDITED, UN-BETAD, AND 65K WORDS. it was so beautifully written AND posted all at once. the whole 65k. what the FUCK. fic is eternity across the lawn by dontlooknow on ao3 (joel/f!reader). nothing really bad even happened but it made me cry like five times and i’m still so fucked up over it. please go read it it’s amazing.

Joel ain’t much of a dreamer. Normally, he goes to sleep and wakes up five minutes later. A blank slate for each night of rest that he does his best to get. He’s crawling now, hands digging through the tall blades of grass, dirt underneath his fingernails. It’s so cold, frigid air sucking all the breath from his lungs. He thinks he’s inhaling dirt as he chuffs through it, trying to force his body to move. You’re calling for him, calling his name. He knows your voice, even in the distance, even with the sound of the ocean in his ears. He’d hear you anywhere, from any distance. He goes to you, desperate and weak as he is, he goes to you. “Joel?” you call for him, voice worried. He tries to yell back, to tell you he’s coming, he’ll be at your side soon. You ain’t alone. Joel’s here. He’s got you. But there’s dirt in his lungs now, and he tries to cough it up, but the spit in his mouth mixes it into a muddy clay. It clogs him, spewing from his nose, choking his throat, rasping in his chest. Still, he crawls.

i actually have not been able to stop thinking about this since i read it and it will never fail to make me cry. what the fuck. please please please read it, it deserves so much attention

i just need hazbin fans who say that the poison scene was gross because one of the people working on it has a rape kink to know that more than 50% of women have a rape kink/rape fantasies. i think it’s about 62%. like this is not that insane. it’s actually pretty fucking normal, and it’s usually like a cnc type of thing. like i’ll admit, i think about it sometimes. i read non-con fics sometimes. i would never WANT to be raped of course, but it’s fucking fiction. it’s not real, and it’s kind of an outlet for my fear of getting raped. i’ve even see SA survivors say they have a thing for rape in a fictional context because it helps them feel like they’re in control. and if this person who worked on that scene actually raped people that would be an actual problem. but as far as i know, it ends at being a kink. if it triggers you or it’s not your thing, that’s FINE. nobody ever said you had to watch it or support them. but let’s please not kinkshame people and make them seem like shitty people for doing their JOB because you’re not into something they are.

ok when did viv say that lilith and lucifer had a really healthy and loving relationship and were still together because the only thing i've seen about that was said by a completely different person in a since-deleted livestream in 2020. did people just decide to make that up or.. (this is me being mad because i have the worst crush on lucifer and i'll get jealous of lilith if they get back together bc i'm crazy)

I don’t know how to explain this in a way that makes sense but I seriously can't stop thinking about how it’s implied that Lucifer genuinely cares about women’s pleasure. Like I can just tell that Adam does not give a shit and probably thinks taking off a woman’s bra is foreplay, but Lucifer?? The only reference to sex he ever makes is implying that he ate Lilith out, AND that it’s something he not only enjoys but is good at. No wonder Lilith left Adam for him, I would too.

angel and husk are not going to die and huskerdust will become canon because people would be mad otherwise. it won’t be good for vivziepop or amazon if people don’t like their decision because it’s bad for the show’s reputation and the company.

killing off the literal abuse victim just for drama is fucked up, i can’t imagine vivzie doing that. and killing off the first person to treat him like an equal? that’s arguably worse. she said that angel and husk are very important to her, and honestly angel seems more like the punching bag character than anything. she’ll torture him and make his life as hard as possible but she won’t kill him.

if huskerdust doesn’t become canon after viv practically confirmed it and the ship name has been used in marketing for the show? that’s just flat-out shipbaiting and people would be pissed. i know i would be. i think they could have a really great romance, angel dust deserves real love and husk seems willing to provide that. they could be great friends, of course, but an expectation has been set now and if they don’t live up to it the fanbase is going to be really disappointed.

when you’re making a show, making one wrong choice can make or break its reputation. viv knows that. she has talked about killing off a character, but that was a while ago and she never so much as implied it was going to be angel or husk. i know you guys like to make everything an angsty miserable shithole but you could try not assuming the worst for once.
