Requested by anon : Can you write a spn fic of dad sam/dean where she texts her dad from her room about needing help because depression gets really bad and she wants to self harm? And dad just helps her ride the wave and comforts her. Thank you
Warnings : Depression, self harm
-------
Tumblr media
And without a single warning, the door to your room flew open. And there he was, standing with that empathetic smile on his face.
You'd believe it if you couldn't clearly see the worry glistening in his eyes.
"Is this where my beauty needs help for her sleep ?"
Your lips quivered and a whimper left your lips, causing your dad's shoulders to slump.
Nice try. But the wound is too deep to close up with a simple joke. And the joke is not funny. But your dad got the memo, since he flew to your bed and sat himself beside you.
"Scooch" He commanded before bringing your upper half over his chest. So you layed diagonally on the bed, with your back up to his chest, giving him scape to wrap his arms completely around your neck.
You needed that. Badly. And when your whimpers got louder, your dad hugged you tighter.
"It's bad, dad..." You choked on a sob.
"I know...kid...i know" Your father planted a kiss on your head. And his hands let you go....discreetly traveling down your arms.
He was checking to see if you'd flinch...that would mean you did it again. And you know this move because you've been through this as well.
Him randomly touching your arms, squeezing from time to time to see if it hurts you. At first you pretended like it didn't. But at some point, you realized there's no need to pretend. He knows.
"I didn't do it." You informed him and a slight sigh of relief hit your ear.
"That's my girl." Another kiss fell on the back of your back of your head. "Give me those hands."
You complied and your dad criss-crossed your arms and set your hands on your opposite shoulders, before bringing his own arms over yours.
"I'm here now, kid."
And as weird and narrow as it may have seemed. You were wrapped in a loving embrace.
And although your drowning thoughts were not ceasing, warmth flooded your body and your muscles tensed down...you hadn't slept in a while. It's been hard..Really hard.
With his arms still wrapped around your chest, your dad sung to you, considerably low, guiding you to sleep.
-----
Sorry for the never-changing ending. It seems that comfy fics cannot end any other way. Anyways, hope this helps someone on a lonely night !! ❤️❤️❤️⚘️⚘️⚘️

Siblings
Summary : You live near campus, away from Dean and Sam. You haven't seen them in a while. How do you react when you find them right at your door?
Pairings : Dean and Sam winchester x sister
Warnings : nooone, just fluff.
A/N : Hi, babies ❣❣ I hope this is as refreshing to you as it was for me.
Tumblr media
------
Oil sizzled as you set the stove on the lowest heat. You tossed the chopped up onions into the pan, filling the room with the familiar aroma.
The house phone rang. And you moved the pan aside before heading for the phone. You pressed a button, setting the phone near your ear when a familiar hum sounded.
Oh my god!
"Dean!" You excitedly shouted, earning yourself an "ouch" over the other line. You pressed a another button, opening the complex door for him and since you were only in the third floor, it only took him a quick minute to appear, followed by Sam.
"Hii" You opened your arms, running to embrace both of them. "What a surprise."
"Hey, kiddo." Dean tightly wrapped his arms around you, letting you go when Sam spoke.
"Hey, honey." Sam pulled you into a hug.
"I missed you both so much." Your voice vibrated into Sam's chest. "What are you doing here?"
"Eating, apparently." As Dean's voice went distant, you pulled away from Sam, spinning around to find Dean marching towards the kitchen.
You let out a little chuckle, following behind.
-----
After setting the plates and beers on the table, you plumped down on the couch, waiting for your brothers to join. And as all three of you started eating, an hour and a half of talks about life, uni, cases and john flowed seamlessly.
"So..." Dean coughed. "Anybody in your life....kid?"
You rolled your eyes at Dean's sudden change of voice. You knew this one, a low tone, manipulative and curious. You're not falling for it.
"Nobody, Dean." You smiled at him, not caring that he already knew you were lying.
"Are you sure about that? Because i'm pretty sure you don't wear size 12 flip floppers." He eyed the entry door and you snorted a laugh. Fucking hell..This guy's eyes..
"Leave her alone, Dean." Sam rolled his eyes before turning to you. "As long as you're happy, honey."
You smiled at his response....your eyes darting around the room when silence set in...
"Alright....Time to head out, Dean." Sam slapped his thighs, readying himself to get up when you pushed him back down.
"No!"
"We have to go, honey. We still have 5 hours to go before we get there." Sam argues and you shook your head.
"Please don't....it's only been an hour." You pleaded, looking over at Dean, who, to your surprise, was staring at you with pleading eyes.
He did not want to go either.
"Come on, Sammy. It's-" you spun around to get a look at the clock. "It's 6pm, don't you wanna get some sleep and head back for the road tomorrow morning?."
Sam grimaced. "I don't know if that's such a good idea, honey. I really do want to stay, but we could always stay over on our way ba-."
You turned to Dean, leaving Sam hanging. But Dean was already laid back, quiet, waiting for you to do all the dirty work. That's when Sam spoke again.
"Okay, how about this" He started, and your eyes grew wide, anticipating what's about to happen.
Sam straightened his back as he held his arms out, positioning one hand on top of the other, his right fist resting on top of his left palm. And as Dean understood the assignment, he got up, mirroring sam.
And in silence you watched, as for the very first time, Sam laid a rock, losing the fight as early as the first round.
You burst into laughter as Sam's eyebrows arose. Nobody expected that. And as you lifted your arms up, jumping in pure ecstasy, Dean grinned triumphantly.
"I won."
You nodded. "And you spend the night here."
Sam smacked his hands together. "Alright, then. Let's prep for a night in."
----
And we're done! If yall can spare a minute and tell me about my writiing pleaase? if i should change it up, if it's too repetitive and stuff. No pressure and thanks in advance ❣ 🖤🖤🥀🥀

It was a blood-curling scream, that woke Y/N up in the middle of the night. It sounded as if somebody was not only skinned alive but also thrown into the darkest and deepest pits of hell. She pauses and holds her breath while sitting up straight in her bed. Her left hand is moving underneath her pillow where she had placed her gun. Then she waits. And for a moment she almost believes that maybe she has simply imagined it, but when another scream pierces the silence the woman rapidly gets up.
A shiver runs down her spine, while she moves towards the hallway. It's dark and the tiles underneath her bare feet are cold. The youngest Winchester looks left and around, before moving towards her brother's room.
Maybe he heard it as well. "Dean?", she whispers, and peeks into his room only to discover that his bed is empty. She looks around and licks her lips:" Fuck."
A few moments later, she suddenly senses a hand on her shoulder. Y/N quickly spins around and lifts her gun, just to meet eyes with her brother. He holds up his hands:" Hey, easy. It's just me. Are you okay?", his deep voice is one loaded with concern, as his gaze scans her face for any bruises. However, once she nods his features soften almost immediately:" Good."
Y/N opens her mouth to say something in return, but before any words can leave her lips another scream fills the bunker. It echoes through the halls. "Sammy!", Dean shouts and rushes past his sister toward his youngest brother's room. He opens the wooden door and instantly raises his gun when he notices a tall man. He has his back turned to the two siblings, while he stands in the corner of the room. His hands are frantically rubbing over his short hair.
"Who are you and where is my brother?!"
Still, the stranger in Sam's room isn't moving. He seems as if he is staring at himself in the small mirror. "Answer me!" Y/N furrows her eyebrows before she pushes past Dean. "Y/N, what-? No!", he tries to stop her but she only shushes him. The y/h/ced woman moves closer… and closer… her hand slowly moves up to touch the man's shoulder. She turns him around and her eyes widen at the sight in front of her:" Oh my fucking god."
The whole room is silent while Dean and Y/n stare at their brother in pure shock. For a moment, Y/n nearly forgets how to breathe correctly and when she looks over at Dean she gasps:" Oh my god, that's- he's-... I'm...
"Why the fuck are you bald?", is all Dean can ask while he continues to stare at his younger brother. Sam swallows thickly, before once again examining himself in the mirror.
———
"Will you stop staring at me like that?", Sam who is sitting at the table in the kitchen can feel his sibling's eyes on him.
"Well, I'm sorry, Sammy", Dean replies and walks over to him. He sits down in front of him and makes a few hand gesticulations:" I just have never seen you this...naked." Sam rolls his eyes at his brother's comment:" I still have hair." "Barely."
Y/N chuckles. However, when Sam gives her an aggravated look she clears her throat:" Sorry." "Can I touch it?" "No, Dean., Sam shuts his laptop and stands up:" You can't touch it. And by the way, could you two stop acting like this is some kind of joke and maybe help me find out why I lost my hair in the first place?"
His sister brings her coffee mug up to her mouth:" Well, perhaps you're just getting old." Sam blinks and tilts his head:" I'm 36." "Yeah, I know. But remember Bobby said that he began to lose his hair around the time he was 25.", She explains and out of the corner of his eye she notices that Dean is hiding his smirk behind his own mug. Sam simply shakes his head, before walking out of the room. Defeated:" Shut up."

Hold on Kid
Dean Winchester x sister!reader
Warnings: angst, death, slight blood mention, heartbreak, let me know if I missed anything
Summary: I suck at these and if I tried, I’d probably wreck it. Hunt gone wrong is the best description I got.
Word Count: 3,999
AN: This is my first post here so be gentle. Enjoy
Life as a hunter was complicated. Naturally, you make enemies with the monsters who knew those you killed. Some wanted revenge, others hated that their kind was killed. Then, there was being a hunter and a Winchester at the same time. Not only do you make normal enemies like all the other hunters, but you make enemies simply because of your last name.
I was the baby of the Winchester family, being nearly six years younger than Sam and almost a decade younger than Dean. After the fire at their home, John took his boys on a journey across the country to hunt down the monster that killed his wife and left him and his boys without a home. He met my mom five years later and after nine months, I joined the family, only for my mother to vanish one night. John had taken me on the road with them after she disappeared, often leaving me with Bobby while he took my older brothers to hunt the simpler cases.
Despite the age difference and the fact that we were “half” siblings, my brothers were the best people in the entire world. Sam and Dean treated me no differently than how they treated each other. I was let in on jokes and taken to diners and bars with them once I was old enough to drive, often driving a drunk Dean and a tipsy Sam back to our motel for the night.
They taught me to hunt the right way. Started me off on simple cases with plenty of back up, making sure I did all the research necessary and never went anywhere alone until they were sure I was capable of taking care of nearly every monster in the book. I was comfortable fighting off nearly any monster, all but djinns.
Those creatures scared the hell out of me. I knew that Sam and Dean had faced enough of them in the past, but I was still fairly new around them and the cases involving them. The fact that they strung up their victims and essentially trapped them in their own minds was horrifying to me, and I’ve taken heads clean off vamp’s bodies.
So, when a case came up that practically screamed djinn, the boys double checked with me every hour, asking if I was ok and still good to attack once the sun went down.
“Guys, I’ll be fine. They just creep me out.” I tried calming my worried brothers. “I can manage it.”
“We never doubted you on handling it.” Sam defended gently, cleaning his gun at the table of our motel room. “We just want to make sure you’re comfortable. We don’t want anything happening to you.”
“I mean, come on kid, we just want you to be safe. I know how much these things freak you out.” Dean added to the conversation from his laid-back spot on his bed.
I sent both brothers a soft glare. “And I appreciate that. But I’ll be fine.”
_____
Flash forward to a few hours later, I was sprawled out on the top floor of the large, abandoned barn, metal rebar sticking out of my stomach and my brothers firing shots down on the floor below me. We had been wrong on our intel, it was more than just one djinn, a whole family of six popping out of the shadows when we burst in. One of the younger women had caught me by surprise, nearing stringing me up but ended with a magazine of rounds to the head.
“Dean.” I tried calling out for my oldest brother, attempting to drag myself closer to the stairs so he’d be able to hear me over the fight. “Sammy.”
Neither of my brothers were answering, my head leaning back to rest against the floor as I took in a few deep breaths. My hands shook as I placed them around the metal, making sure to not move it but add enough pressure to the surrounding skin to help stop the flow of blood. I had been taught that keeping the object in could potentially save your life, especially if it were holding an artery closed.
With neither of my big brothers answering my desperate pleas for help, I resulted in closing my eyes and praying to the angel who kept tabs on us. “Castiel.” I spoke his full name. “Dean and Sammy can’t hear me. I need help. I think I’m dying Cas.” Tears gathered in my eyes as I spoke to the angel who had become a best friend over the years. “Please, I’m so scared Cas.” No answer came from the angel, but he was busy with heavenly issues that us hunters would never know of.
After a few more strangled calls to my brothers, heavy boots finally began climbing the stairs. “Hey kid, did you manage to take them…” Dean’s voice cut off abruptly when my eyes met his. “Kid. Sammy!” Dean practically growled down the stairs, rushing the last few steps and coming to a stop beside me. “Hey, kid, you ok? What happened?”
“She didn’t like my jokes.” I tried lightening the mood as Dean pushed my hands away to take in the damage. “Everyone likes my jokes.” Dean set his blade down on the floor beside me, yanking both his jacket and his flannel off, quickly balling the shirt material and pressing it down around the metal.
A pained scream ripped through my throat at the pressure, white hot pain exploding in my stomach. “I know, kid, but we gotta keep the pressure. You’re doing great.” He turned over his shoulder. “Sammy!” His green eyes met mine then, the fear and anger flooding the bright colors that always brought me comfort. “You keep those eyes on me kid, you hear me? Keep lookin’ at me.”
I couldn’t take my eyes off him even if I wanted to. Sure, Sam and Dean were my brothers, but they practically raised me when John was out hunting. Sam was the overprotective big brother in every sense of the term. He walked me to and from classes, dropped me off for any projects that needed to be done and practically ran background checks on all of my friends at school.
Dean, he was protective but in a whole other way. While Sam took on that big brother role, Dean was basically the father I wanted. He made sure I got to do kid stuff, pulled me from school to play hooky, sat with me after bad dreams, played with me as a kid, and sat with me for my first heart break. He was the one that taught me to drive, to hunt, and to live however I wanted. I could get away with absolutely anything with Dean since all he ever wanted for me was to grow up happy and loved.
So, staring up into Dean’s eyes as blood soaked into my shirt and coated his hands, I knew I was going to be safe, no matter the outcome of this injury. Dean would take care of me until the day I stopped breathing, he had just hoped that it would be a long time after he had gone.
“Hold on kid, Sam’s coming. He’s got what we need. You just hold on.” His eyes were fogged over with tears, and he aggressively rubbed them into his shoulders to clear his vision. “Kid, talk to me. I gotta hear you talk.”
“I love you.” I managed to get out, though I wasn’t sure he heard much of it. My hands had stopped shaking and a coldness was seeping into my skin as I watched Dean’s eyes widen ever so slightly.
“No, kid you gotta say something else. OK? That can’t be all you got for me.” His left hand moved from the wound and gently brushed some hair back out of my face. “You gotta tell me this joke that the bitch on the floor didn’t laugh at. I’m sure it was your best.”
The world was becoming foggy the longer I stared into the green eyes that always brought me comfort. They mixed into the slight green tint the ceiling had from years of neglect and abuse from the weather. Dean, my big brother, who was always there for me when I needed, who would drive all day and all night just to get to me after a fight with John or Bobby about hunting. The brother who literally went through hell to save Sammy and negotiated with a witch for my life. The father I always needed and wanted in my life.
The pain in my stomach had gone numb and my hands had pretty much stopped moving all together as I watched Dean scream for Sam yet again. “Come on kid, just a little longer. You hold on a little longer kid, I got you. Dean’s got you kid.” That nickname was something he only ever used for me. It was his term of endearment to the little girl he raised. “Talk to me, please.” The last word was a heart shattering plead that helped focus my eyes for one final moment.
“I love you dad.” The line slipped from my lips half a second before my eyes got too heavy to keep open any longer and the world faded into back.
_____
Dean’s sure he never cried so hard in his life. He had lost so many people throughout his life that he was pretty used to hearing news of someones passing. But watching the color leave his baby sister’s skin, watch the light drain from her eyes, and listen to those Earth-shattering words fall from her lips as she bled out into his hands sealed it for him. He had just lost his world, his little sister that he had raised practically since she was born; he just lost his little girl.
Sam came clomping up the stairs as quick as his long legs could carry him, just not quick enough. He swore his heart stopped in his chest when he found his older brother crouched over his younger sister, blood coating the floors, and sobs racking Dean’s chest. Sam’s chest felt like someone sent a fist straight through his ribs, ripping his lungs out in the process. His knees hit the floor a few feet from where Dean was crouched over, eyes locked on his older brother’s back.
Dead’s head came to rest against his sisters, near silent pleas to wake up falling from his lips as tears dripped from his eyes. Prayers to Castiel or any angel listening following. The oldest Winchester had told himself that he would never beg for anything, never allow someone to have that kind of control over himself, but here he was, begging to the body of his little girl and to any angel listening to let her wake up, to let her live and take him instead.
The soft, unmistakable sound of fluttering wings caught both Winchester boy’s attention enough for them to turn. There stood Castiel, with his big brother Gabriel at his side, watching the young girl on the ground continue to bleed, though much slower now, through the shirt of her oldest brother.
“Cas.” Dean had locked eyes on his favorite angel. “Please, there’s gotta be something you can do.” Castiel swears he’s never heard Dean Winchester sound this broken before, never heard him plead this softly. “I can’t lose her. I can’t lose my kid.” Another wave of tears fought its way up through Dean’s chest, nearly choking him on the sobs coming from his body.
Gabriel was at a loss for words. Never had he been around the Winchester boys and not get a snappy comment or crude joke thrown his way, but here he was, looking down at two very broken Winchesters. Gabriel could sense the pain and worry coming from his brother, knowing that the younger angel couldn’t do anything for the Winchester girl. Cas had only barely begun to learn how to pull someone back when they were in the veil and looking down on themselves, not quite taken by the reapers yet. So, with the flutter of his wings, Gabriel went off to do the one thing he knew could help the two brothers.
_____
The pain in my chest was unbearable as I watched Dean cry, his hands not leaving my wound, his voice faintly pleading for me to come back to him.
“I tried to stay with you Dean. I’m so sorry I couldn’t.” My voice was barely even a whisper as I tried to hold in my tears. Sam was knelt down a few feet back from Dean, tears staining his cheeks and making his hair stick to his face. “I’m so sorry Sammy.”
Everything around me seemed to move in slow motion. Sounds muddled together and lights seemed to blur the picture before me, but that all too familiar sound of flapping wings would grab my attention any day. I turned away from my sobbing brothers to face the Archangel Gabriel himself.
“Gabe?” A crack snuck its way into my words. “Is that really you?”
“Hey there sweetness.” He winked, arms crossing over his chest. “I thought I told you to stay breathing last I left.”
I nodded, instantly running over to him. His arms opened enough for me to slot myself against his chest, tears leaking onto his shirt. His hands came to rest on me, one against my back and one in my hair, pulling me closer to his body. “What happens now?” I questioned the angel as I held tighter to his waist.
“Well, we can hang here and wait for the reaper to come take you up to heaven, or…” I cut him off before he could continue.
“Or you can take me?” I questioned; my eyes now turned to get what I thought would be the last glimpses of my brothers.
Gabriel pulled back, hands on my shoulders to get me to look at him. “Haven’t I told you to let me finish before you jump to conclusions?” I nodded against his chest and waited for him to continue. “Or I could take you back to your brothers. Let you live a little longer.”
Everything in me froze, not believing what he said to be true. “You can do that? Bring me back?” His honey-colored eyes were already looking down at me when I turned to face him. “I can go back to them?”
He simply nodded to me. “As long as you promise to keep breathing for me.” I was nodding almost instantly to his request.
“Please. Please take me back.”
_____
The whole building grew silent after Gabriel had been gone for well over an hour. Sam sat staring at the back of his brother, waiting for Dean to do something. Dean had gone still moments after the archangel vanished, hoping with all his will that a miracle would happen.
The oldest Winchester had resorted to cleaning up his little sister as best he could, pulling the metal from her body and throwing it far, far away. The bloodied shirt had been tossed out of the way as well, her shirt and jacket now covering the fatal wound on her stomach in a way to make it seem like she was just sleeping. Dean’s fingers trailed softly over her head, pushing hair from her face, and trying to memorize everything he could about the young girl before they gave her a proper hunters funeral.
Castiel had yet to move since his older brother vanished, staying still as if he were carved from stone as he watched over the two Winchester men. He listened to every sound coming near the building for a ten-mile radius, making sure nothing tried sneaking up on the two while their world crumbled around them. He had wished he heard your prayer earlier, gotten back down to Earth faster, maybe then you would still be alive and sitting with your brothers, rather than coated in blood and ghostly pale.
The flap of wings pulled Castiel and Sam from their states of grief, watching a small smile flicker across the archangel’s face. Sam had half a mind to scream at the angel before movement caught his eye.
The blood soaking the floor around the body of the youngest Winchester slowly started to vanish, seemingly seeping back into the wound on her stomach. Then color began to return to her skin, slowly transforming it from a deathly grey back to her natural pigments.
It took a moment longer for Dean to notice the changes, having been so absorbed in caring for the body of his little girl. Once his eyes noticed the changes, his hands backed up from her, almost like she caught on fire. Both Winchester brothers scrambled to their feet, backing away from the girl who was laying so still seconds before.
With one last beat of silence, the wound on her stomach closed fully and her chest heaved with a huge breath of air.
_____
The world came back dramatically. All of a sudden, I could hear the soft drops of water from the ceiling again, feel the coldness of the hard floor below me and smell the horrible damp concrete of the walls to my right. Then my eyes fluttered open, and I could see the ugly ceiling that was decaying from years of abandonment again.
My brain raced as I tried to remember what happened. The hunt, a djinn, the metal rebar, Gabriel pulled me back. I died and Gabriel brought me back. Sam and Dean, they watched me bleed out on the floor of a hunt, watched me die on a hunt they knew I was already nervous for. Dean, he had been with me, he held my hand as the pain vanished and the world fell into silence. He had been with me as I died.
My lungs pulled in one of the deepest breaths I’ve ever taken, causing me to turn and cough loudly as I took the chance to breath more air in. My brain raced as it figured out how to work again, after moments of rest and complete silence it was working to catch back up on what was going on, and the only thing it seemed to think of was…
“Dad.” The word fell from my mouth before I could even process what was going on. Then suddenly I was being hauled up to my knees and crushed into the tightest hug ever given. Everything about the person was familiar, the way the arms wrapped themselves protectively around my shoulders, hand placed to the back of my head. The soft fabric of the green jacket wrapped around shoulders, and the scent of the hunt along with something so specifically Dean. I was wrapped in the arms of my oldest brother, wrapped up and secured in his embrace, protected from anything the world could throw at us.
His chest heaved with sobs, mumbles of my name and ‘kid’ falling from his lips. “I got you; I got you kid. I’m here. You’re ok.” The words fell from his lips in a jumbled mess, falling together in a mess of letters.
“Dean.” My words came out quietly as I hugged him back with everything I had in me. I clutched onto him as my own tears fell, coating my cheeks and making stains on his shirt as I pressed my face to his chest.  Feet scrambled on the floor beside us and before I knew it, Sam was crushing me and Dean in the tightest hug he could manage. “Sammy.” I adjusted one arm to be able to hold onto both my brothers, all three of us a crying mess.
It took the three of us nearly a half hour to calm down enough to stand and face the angels. Sam had stepped a few inches away, wiping his cheeks with the backs of his hands as he turned to speak to Gabriel. “I don’t even know what to say.” His words were barely strung together as he glanced back at me.
While Sam had stepped a few inches back, Dean had yet to let me go. His arm had yet to fall from my shoulders and I was pretty sure he wouldn’t let me go for the next few hours, though I wasn’t going to complain. I had turned into Dean’s side, keeping my arms around his waist and my head leaned into his shoulder, tears still damp on my cheeks.
“Thank you, Gabriel.” I looked at the angel who pulled me back. “I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful I am.” Dean’s arm tightened around my shoulders, pulling me just a bit closer to his side.
“She’s right.” Dean’s voice was deeper than usual after all the crying over the last hours. “Thank you.” Sam agreed with his brother, going over to hug Gabriel tightly.
Cas stepped a bit closer, his hand coming to rest on my cheek. “I’m glad you’re alright. The area around is clear, you’ll be safe heading back to the bunker. We will keep watch over your drive.” And suddenly, the two angels were gone with a soft flap of wings.
“Sammy, can you get the car started and give us a sec?” Dean asked his little brother, holding tighter to me if possible. Sam gave a soft nod, pressed a kiss to my head and went down to wait in the car.
Once he was gone, Dean turned sharply to me. “I’m so glad you’re ok, kid. You can’t ever do that to me again.”
Dean’s hands rested gently on my cheeks, thumbs wiping away the drying tears from my skin. “I never wanted to leave you. I tried so hard to stay with you Dean. I really did.” New tears dripped from my eyes as I looked up at my oldest brother.
“I know you did, kid. I know.” I was pulled back into his chest, his hands rubbing into my back as I cried into his shirt again. “I got you now. I’ll never let that happen again, ok? I won’t ever let anyone put their hands on my little girl again.” My fingers twisted into the back of his shirt as he soothed me, helping me calm down and relax again. “So, can I ask about the dad comment?”
A soft laugh blew through my nose. “Yeah, you can.” I pulled back to look up into the green eyes that always brought me comfort. “John was never really there for me. You know?” He nodded softly at me. “I mean, you took me to my first day of school, you taught me to drive, you were the one who was always there for me.” My voice trailed off towards the end as I watched his face slowly stiffen into an emotion I couldn’t read. “Sorry, I’ve just always seen you that way, I guess it just slipped out today.”
“Kid, I’m not mad, or anything like that.” He gently brushed a few fingers through my hair. “I’ve always seen you as my little girl. I know I was there more than dad was. I know he barely had anything to do with you. There’s nothing I want more than to be your dad, even if you just call me Dean, that doesn’t matter.” He took a deep breath. “I want to be the one you call when you need help or come to when you’re scared. I know you’re not exactly a kid anymore, but just know that I’ll always be there for you. You’re my kid.”
I didn’t even answer, just lunging forward and wrapping him back in a tight hug. “I love you, dad.”
His hands held my head to his chest tightly, a kiss being pressed down into my hair as we held onto each other. “I love you too, kid. Don’t you ever forget that.”

Spencer held your hand tight, anticipating the moment. The sound sounded again as you pulled Spencer with you, taking a run for it. – “They’re running!” – Derek called out in the midst of the confusion. You pushed the glass doors open sprinting outside. Dean pressed the horn loud urging you to get a move on. Sam stood by the car, holding his phone up with some equipment. The sounds coming from his phone boosted. If you had the time you’d laugh at it. – “In the car!” – Dean ordered slamming his hand against the doorframe.
Sam unplugged his phone, tugging it in his pocket. You pushed Spencer forwards ordering him to go in a direction. He went around the car opening the front door. Dean blinked surprised at Spencer popping his head in sight. – “No!” – he called out not wanting him to ride shotgun. Spencer lifted his head up, looking over the roof. Out of the precinct ran his familiar team.
You had run over to Sam, grabbing him by his jacket. He opened the door as you pushed him inside. He stumbled on the backseat as you kept hitting his feet for him to make room for you. – “Reid don’t do this!” – Derek called out. – “Too bad.” – Spencer said jumping in the front seat despite Dean’s disliking.
“Sam move your big feet!” – you shouted as you were half in the car. Legs still on the ground. A gun shot got fired as it started you. It bounced off the roof above your head. Dean started the engine. – “Hang on.” – he called out hitting the gas. – “Sam!” – you yelled out as you almost got flung out of the car. Sam grabbed your arms, pulling you inside. Just as another bullet went your way.
One of the local officers was firing at you. Hotch pushed his arm down with a glare. – “Don’t shoot!” – he ordered loudly. You were able to shut the door still struggling to sit down properly while the car was moving. Dean’s eyes widened when he saw Derek stand in the distance. He had to spin the wheel rapidly to avoid him. The tires shrieked as you got flung to the side right onto Sam. Spencer was holding on tight to the dashboard fearing for his life. He never liked cars and the way Dean was racing made him panic.
Because of the quick maneuver, Dean had to spin the wheel back to avoid hitting another car parked. The car swung back as you got flung to the other side. Your head hitting the side of the car. Sam had held on tight so he couldn’t fall on you. Dean finally was able to get the car steady, racing off the parking lot. – “Everyone good?” – Dean asked checking his rearview mirror to look at Sam and you. Sam held his thumb out, out of breath to answer properly.
Spencer swallowed nervously adjusting his tie. – “Y/n you good?” – Dean asked needing a clear response from you. You touched your head, looking down at your fingers. Seeing specks of blood, you knew the knock on your head from the car had been hard. – “All good.” – you said hiding your hand. You wiped your fingers dry on your shirt hoping the wound wouldn’t be that clear to them. – “That was insane.” – Spencer said with a loud exhale. Agreeing you slapped Sam hard against his arm. – “Au!” – he called out startled. – “Who’s stupid idea was this?” – you asked loudly. – “You Dean?” – you blamed as he shook his head. – “It was your boyfriends stupid idea to just waltz into the station.”
You shot a glare at Spencer for being so reckless. He turned around in his seat to look at you. – “I couldn’t just leave you in there.” – he answered as you slapped him as well. – “Au! Sorry.” – Spencer outed rubbing his arm. – “And the stupid animal roars? Who’s stupid idea was that.” – you called out seeing that Sam held his finger up with shame. You wanted to slap him again, but slapped Dean’s arm instead. – “Hey! What was that for?” – Dean replied loud. – “For letting him do it!” – you answered. – “We got you out didn’t we?” – Dean spoke back. You exhaled deep letting yourself fall back in the backseat.
Touching your forehead you started to feel the headache from the bump come in. Your brothers and Spencer interpretated it as you wanting to be left alone. Dean kept driving wanting to be sure no one was following him. He knew the problem wasn’t gone but at least they got you back. That was all that mattered at the moment. To be reunited with family. Dean let go of the steering wheel with one hand wanting to search the glove compartment for something. – “Let me.” – Spencer suggested wanting to help out.
“I got it.” – Dean grunted out still struggling to open it. – “Just let me help.” – Spencer offered again as Dean gave up. – “Fine! The map.” – he said. Spencer searched for the map unfolding it. Dean glanced to the side trying to get a glance of the map. Sam came closer grabbing the back of Spencer’s seat. Moving his arm over it, he wanted to point at something on the map. – “We could go here. This route is long and calm. We could for sure stop on the way for some stuff.” – Sam spoke making Spencer move his shoulder out of the way. – “Sure what do you say Y/n?” – he asked turning his head to look at you.
You shrugged your shoulders. – “Anything that could give me some painkillers.” – you answered. – “Are you in pain?” – he asked as suddenly his eyes widened. – “Did they hurt you?” – he freaked out. – “No!” – you said loud. – “I just have a headache.” – you reassured him. Dean drove till the third small convenience store just to be certain. All four of you got out of the car. – “I’ll gas up.” – Dean said moving to the gas pump. – “Bring me some snack!” – he pointed at Sam who answered by gestured his hand up.
A little bell rang as you opened the door. – “You go get us some drinks.” – Sam said motioning to Spencer. Spencer nodded walking to the back of the store. You parted ways with Sam. Sam in search of snacks and supplies. You in search for some painkillers. You came into the pharmaceutical row. Searching the shelves, you came across some bandages. It made you stop hesitantly to grab them. Touching your forehead again, you felt the wetness under your hair.
Sighing loud, you took them. You then grabbed the painkillers just as Spencer rounded your row. Under his armpits he carried a few water bottles. – “Hey uhm… is this good enough?” – he asked for validation. You hummed soft seeing him sigh relieved. It was then that he noticed the bandages in your hand. – “Are you alright babe?” – he came closer grabbing you by the wrist. It was only then that he noticed the wettened darkness in your hair right by your hairline. – “You’re bleeding!” – he called out worried, tightening his grip around your wrist. – “It’s nothing.” – you reassured him. – “I bumped my head against the car, that’s all.” – you told him.
“Still! You should’ve told us.” – he spoke as another woman came in the row. The way she was looking at you made you feel uneasy. What if your face was already spread out on the tv. Warning people of the dangerous killer. You grabbed Spencer by the arm, pulling him with you out of the row. – “We’re leaving.” – you whispered to him, meeting up with Sam near the counter. You dropped the supplies on the counter, waiting impatiently as the cashier took his time to scan the items.
Behind him was a tv playing the news. They were speaking off political things, but how badly you didn’t want to see your face pop up.  Spencer noticed how anxious you were, grabbing your hand. Sam paid as you grabbed almost all of it, leaving the store in a haste. Spencer smiled sheepishly at the cashier, taking the remaining things you forgot to gather in your arms. He left with Sam as they saw you hurry over to the car. – “What?” – Dean called out confused as you opened the trunk, throwing everything in. – “Car now!” – you said making him jump in action.
Spencer and Sam sped up getting in the backseat as you had taken the front seat. Dean started the car without questioning. On the main road he dared to ask what made you freak out. – “What happened?” – he asked glancing over to you. You exhaled deep, letting yourself slide down your seat. – “I have this feeling my face is going to appear on the tv.” – you told them. – “I felt like everyone in that store was looking suspicious at me.”
“They probably weren’t.” – Sam said moving a hand to your shoulder. – “In case you forgot I’m still wanted for murder. Perhaps even more now that you broke me out of the police station. It won’t take long before they start searching with choppers or so.” – you answered in a panic. Dean tapped your knee harshly. – “Hey! Snap out of it! They aren’t going to find you!” – he reassured you in a loud tone. His words didn’t ease your worries. – “We’ll camp in the woods for today.” – he offered in the hopes to ease you more. You slowly nodded, turning away to stare out of the window.
Dean drove off road heading into the woods imprisoning the main road. A road where he had passed barely any other car. He drove to an opener space between the trees. The four of you got out to take a breather. Dean decided to check on the guns. Sam went to have a look around to be certain the coast was clear. You were leaning against the hood, arms crossed. Spencer cleared his throat coming in sight, waving the bandages and painkillers in his hand. – “Did someone call for a nurse?” – he said in an attempt to make you smile.
You barely smiled as he approached. – “I… I uhm… I never got the chance to ask you about… you know.” – he started moving some hair aside. – “You mean my lock-up?” – you responded. He nodded taking some wipes to clean your wound. – “It… it… I don’t know.” – you sighed out trying not to focus on the stinging. – “They said I could get 30 years Spence.” – you told him. – “You aren’t getting 30 years Y/n. You didn’t kill anyone.” – he responded lowering his hands to grab a new wipe. – “I know that. You know that but they don’t.” – you explained with a sigh.
You turned your head to look away. Spencer breathed out soft, turning your head back by your chin. –“We’ll figure something out. I don’t care if I have to forge evidence or not, but you aren’t going to prison, Y/n.” – he told you making you smile faintly. – “So you’ll take 30 years for forgery.” – you teased giving him a soft nudge against his chest. Spencer smiled. – “Maybe they’ll let us spend 30 years together?” – he joked setting his hands on the hood around you. – “I doubt it.” – you scrunched your nose making him tap your nose.
He grabbed a bandage, covering up your wound with it. You took a deep breath, your mind caught in a thinking process. Spencer hummed loud to get your attention. Wanting you to share your thoughts with him. You exhaled deep. – “I…back there… I had this feeling that Hotch was believing me. That he could tell I was innocent. I can’t be certain, but it felt nice to be believed even if it was just a mirage.” – you outed making Spencer wrap his arms around you. – “He loves you; the teams loves you. Hotch will do anything in his power that you are unharmed.” – he answered. You grabbed your head, shaking it. – “I just feel like I am losing my mind.”
Spencer brought your hands down. – “You aren’t.” – he whispered cupping your cheeks. He kissed your lips tenderly as it warmed your heart for a moment. Sam and Dean returned to the car as the sun was lowering. The four of you got back in the car. Spencer and you in the back, Sam, and Dean in the front seats. All of you were munching on some snacks. – “So what do we do now?” – Spencer asked curious. Dean took a deep breath. – “I don’t know.” – he said. – “We don’t have many options.” – you told them.
“Either I leave the country, or I turn myself in.” – it was bittersweet but the harsh reality. – “You aren’t going to do any of those.” – Sam made clear. – “We’ll just… just…” – Spencer sighed. – “Those are worries for tomorrow. Let’s not think about that tonight.” – he continued. You snuggled up to him as best as you could in the car. Sam and Dean lowered themselves in their seat to lay better. Spencer kissed your forehead wrapping an arm around you.
Exhaling peacefully you closed your eyes to catch some sleep. Dean looked back to you with a saddened smile. How he wished you hadn’t been the target. He couldn’t sleep that much so he decided to get out of the car. He came sitting on the hood, watching the stars. He turned his head hearing a door shut. He huffed humored seeing Sam join him, offering beer. He accepted it as Sam joined him on the hood. – “What do we do?” – Dean questioned. Sam sighed deep. – “I’m not sure but we’ll figure something out.”
Spencer shot awake at the horn going off loud. – “Wake up sunshine!” – Dean teased as you woke up as well. – “What is it?” – Spencer asked rubbing his eyes. – “We’ve got work to do.” – Dean answered as Sam showed him something off his phone. It took Spencer a few moments to clearly see it and read it. You read along over his shoulder. – “Are you serious?” – Spencer questioned. – “Yep!” – Dean said. – “Isn’t that dangerous with Y/n. What if people are looking for her? I’m not putting her in more danger then before.” – he interfered as you hugged his arm, finding it sweet how caring he was.
“Hey, our job doesn’t stop. It’s around the clock no matter what.” – Dean spoke back with some arrogance as if Spencer wouldn’t understand. – “Relax we aren’t putting Y/n in any openness.” – Sam interrupted. – “That is why you are coming with us scholar boy.” – Dean mocked with a laugh. – “Me? Go hunting with… with you two?” – suddenly he felt shaky as you calmed him down by stroking his back. – “Y/n will stay in the car out of sight, and you’ll be an extra.” – Dean clarified. – “So… so what will you have me do?” – He was very curious about his task and if he was up to it.
“Nothing much you can leave the hardcore hunting to us. You’ll just have to run around and lure it to us.” – Dean couldn’t help himself but smile, checking on Spencer through the rearview mirror. – “So I’m just bait?” – he specified with a slight panic. – “That’s right Daphne so buckle up.” – Dean joked. – “But Daphne always get’s caught in Scooby Doo.” – Spencer called out. – “Then you better not get caught.” – Dean answered stepping on the gas.
Spencer swallowed nervously leaning back in his seat. – “It will be alright Spence.” – you said trying not to smile. Picturing Spencer’s first hunt seemed overly funny to you. Spencer quirked his eyebrow at you, trying to figure out if you were smiling at him or laughing about him. You quickly kissed him to stop overthinking it. Spencer sighed deep feeling a bit anxious about his first hunt of the supernatural.

Protector
Requested by @captaincvans
Dean Winchester x little sister!reader, a little bit of Sam Winchester x little sister!reader
Synopsis: your big brother Dean has always been your protector
Tumblr media
It started when you were four years old. Dean answered one of John’s phones, and was shocked to hear your tiny voice on the other end.
“Who is this? How did you get this number?”
“My mommy,” you were sobbing into the phone, and Dean’s heartbeat picked up. Had someone hurt the little girl on the other end? “My mommy said to call if-if bad things happened. She said it was my daddy’s number.”
To say Dean was shocked would be the understatement of the century, but he forced himself to remain calm, if only for the little girl who clearly needed help. John had gone out on a job, and Sam had walked to a nearby store to grab some supplies.
“Ok, well where’s your mommy?”
“The monster…he-he…” you broke down into sobs, and Dean didn’t need to hear anything else.
Dean was usually used to waiting for John’s orders before doing just about anything, but somehow now he knew just what to do. Every instinct inside him screamed to help you from the moment he heard your voice.
He didn’t know then, but that instinct would follow him for the rest of his life.
Dean’s relationship with you was different than his with Sam. Dean had practically raised Sam, but he literally raised you. The older the boys got, the more John left them for hunts. And there was the age difference; he was only four years older than Sam, but Dean had already grown up and started hunting by the time you came into his life. And after John died, the two of you became closer than ever, and he took on his role as caretaker even more seriously.
So, needless to say, hunting wasn’t in the cards for you. Of course Dean taught you how to defend yourself, but he knew that once you started hunting, you’d be stuck in that life forever, and that wasn’t a choice he was going to let you make as a teenager.
A part of you always wanted to fight him on it, not because you thought you’d love hunting, but because your big brothers risked their lives on an almost-daily basis, and you wanted to be there to help them. However, it didn’t take long for you to realize that being on a hunt would just put them in more danger; Dean would be so worried about you that he wouldn’t keep his head on straight. You weren’t going to be the reason he got distracted and killed on a hunt.
So you stayed behind.
But that didn’t mean that you were always safe.
“Crowley I swear, if you touch one hair on her head-“
“Let me guess, they’ll never find the body?”
“Oh no, they will,” Dean’s fists were clenched so hard, his palms were going numb. “They’ll find it, and they’ll keep finding it. Little bits, everywhere, maybe I’ll even drop you in a couple of different states. I’ll cut you up nice and slow, it’ll take weeks before you’re dead, and that’s if I’m feeling generous enough to let you die at all.”
“My my my, someone is very protective about his little pet. However, your mummy should’ve taught you some manners, because you see…” Dean flinched when he heard your screams over the phone. “I don’t like to be threatened, squirrel.”
“Ok, ok!” Dean relented. Your screams stopped.
“Good. Now, here’s my ultimatum,” Crowley’s voice rose in anger, “If you ever want to see this little runt again, the first thing you’re gonna do, is drop the attitude, and show some respect!” Crowley cleared his throat, and returned to his easygoing, neutral tone. “After all, I am the king of hell. And then, after that, you’re going to stop meddling in my affairs. That’s not so bad, is it?”
Dean was about to throw out a snarky response when your voice broke in.
“Don’t listen to him, Dean. He’s just a liar, he’ll betray y-“ your desperate, frightened voice cut off with a high-pitched scream, and Dean could swear he heard Crowley laughing.
“Now now, darling, that’s not very nice. Name-calling is for children. Oh that’s right,” Crowley’s laughter started up again. “You are a child.”
“Stop it!” Not seeing what was going on was driving Dean insane. He could only imagine what Crowley was doing to you. “Alright, Crowley, you get what you want. Just let her go!”
The screaming stopped again.
“Now, that’s sweet, Dean. But I’m afraid I don’t exactly trust your word. So, I’m going have to keep your little rugrat here for a little longer, just to make sure you make good on your promise. Deal?”
“No no no, Crowley you can’t just-“
“I think we’re done here.”
The click that followed might as well have been an atomic bomb.
“We got a location.”
Dean had never jumped up that fast in his entire life.
“Finally, let’s go.”
“Dean, hold on,” Sam placed his hand out, stopping Dean in his tracks. “We don’t know how many demons are guarding it.”
“You know what, Sam? I don’t really care. There could be a thousand demons in there for all I care. She’s in there, so I’m going.” Dean brushed past Sam, who reluctantly followed him into the Impala.
“I’m just saying, it would be nice to have a plan.”
“I have a plan.” Dean peeled out of the driveway and sped along the road.
“The plan is get her back.”
You heard them before you saw them. It would be impossible not to; the screaming of demons and the thud as bodies hit the floor wasn’t exactly quiet.
However, when the door burst open, it wasn’t your brothers who came in.
Crowley rushed toward you, his hand outstretched to grab you and teleport you with him. A split second before his hand reached your shoulder, the demon blade whizzed past his ear and struck his arm, throwing him off balance and onto the floor. Before he could get back up, Dean was on him, not even bothering with the knife as he pounded on Crowley’s face. Sam rushed in after him, grabbing Dean by the shoulder and pulling him off.
“That’s enough, Dean! Just use the kni-“
Before either brother could move towards the demon blade, Crowley had disappeared.
“No!” Dean slammed his fist against the wall, and was about to do it again when he heard it.
“Dean?”
Never, not even when you were little, had Dean ever heard you sound so small; so fragile. He turned, his gaze instantly softening, his fists relaxing as he rushed to your side. He quickly untied the ropes holding you to a metal chair, and as soon as you were free you collapsed into his waiting arms.
“You’re ok,” Dean’s eyes stung as he gripped you tightly to him. “You’re safe now, I’m here.”
“Is she ok?” Sam stepped up behind Dean, and Dean reluctantly pulled away to check you for injuries.
There was a gash along your cheek, and he saw several cuts on your arms and legs, but what really worried him was the blood covering the front of your shirt.
“Baby, can you…” Dean touched the pool of blood dripping down your stomach. You lifted your shirt a few inches, and he saw a deep cut running along your ribs. Blood was still gushing freely from the cut, and Dean quickly removed his top layer of flannel, pressing it against the wound.
Sam flinched when you cried out, and Dean winced.
“I know, I know it hurts honey. I need you to hold it there, though.” You took the shirt from him and he nodded, “Yeah, good, press it tight.” He glanced around one more time to be sure no demons were coming, before he scooped you into his arms. You cried out again when he jostled you, and he tried to ignore you as he turned to Sam.
“You gotta watch my back, I’ve got her, but I don’t know if there are any more demons still here.”
Sam nodded, taking the demon blade.
“Alright, I’ll drive.”
“Do we need to take her to a hospital?” Sam glanced to the back of the Impala, where your head was resting in Dean’s lap as he held his shirt against your cut.
“I’m ok,” your voice was quiet, almost sleepy.
“We should take her in,” Dean insisted.
“It doesn’t look like she’s lost that much blood,” Sam hesitantly argued.
“Dean, I’m ok,” you turned your gaze from your injury to your big brother. “Really, just stitch me up. I’ll be fine.”
Dean relented hesitantly, mostly because he didn’t put it past Crowley to try to alert local authorities to all the bodies he’d left in his wake saving you. The last thing you needed was to be stuck in a hospital while Sam and Dean got arrested.
“Alright, ok. But you gotta stay awake, understand?”
You were silent for a few seconds, and when your voice lifted he could hear the tears you were trying to hold back.
“He wouldn’t let me sleep.”
Dean felt the white-hot anger rising in him, but he forced it down.
“You…but you were gone for three days.”
“I know. But ev-every time I tried to sleep…” you picked at one of the cuts, and Dean got the picture. He glanced up to see Sam gripping the steering wheel with all his might, his knuckles turning snow-white.
“I’m sorry,” Dean’s soft voice was only beat by the softness in his eyes as he looked down at you. “I’m so sorry. But you gotta stay awake just a little bit longer, I’m sorry.”
You knew he wasn’t just apologizing for that.
“Dean, it’s not your fault.”
He turned to look out the window, and you knew he didn’t believe you.
“Dean,” you tried to raise your voice, but it just sent you into a fit of coughing. His head whipped back to look at you, and he squeezed his hand under your head, lifting you up a little so you could breathe.
“Honey, don’t talk, don’t talk. You’re ok, just breathe.”
“Dean,” you took a deep breath, “Dean it’s not. It’s not your fault-“
“Shh, shh,” he insisted, eyes flitting nervously over your face. “Kiddo please, don’t talk.”
“Then say it.”
Dean sighed, and you knew he wouldn’t mean it, but you wanted him to say it anyway.
“It wasn’t my fault.”
“I’m sorry,” Dean winced when you sucked in a breath, trying desperately to stay still as he sewed you up.
“I’m ok,” you insisted.
“Ok, I’m done,” Dean tied off the last stitch, and you hesitantly stood and headed to your bathroom to shower off the blood that was all but covering you.
Dean sat on your bed while you were gone, staring down at the blood on his hands, disgusted but somehow unable to get up to wash it off.
He stayed there until you returned, a clean shirt and your pajama pants on. You stepped up to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. He glanced up, opening his mouth to speak before closing it again. You tugged on his arm without speaking, and he followed you mechanically as you pulled him into your bathroom.
You turned on the sink water and guided his hands under the flow, rubbing his hands until they were clean and your blood was running down the drain. You handed him a soft towel, and he slowly dried his hands.
The two of you stood there in silence, unsure of whether to move or not. Then suddenly, the two of you moved in sync. He opened his arms just as you moved towards him, and he wrapped you into his arms. One of his hands cradled the back of your head, while the other rested on the small of your back. You felt his chin rest on the top of your head, his arms tightening around you.
“I’m so sorry,” he choked.
You wanted to tell him it wasn’t his fault, but you knew that you could scream it til doomsday and Dean still wouldn’t believe it. So instead you said what he needed to hear.
“I’m ok.”
You weren’t the only one who hadn’t been able to sleep during your captivity, and you knew it. Dean looked horrible, his eyes dark and his hair greasy and sticking out in strange angles. You didn’t think you could convince him to eat or shower, not yet at least. He hadn’t left your side in the hour since you got back, and you figured he would want to watch over you while you slept.
So, if you couldn’t make him eat, you figured you at least knew a way to make him sleep.
You let him tuck you into your bed before grabbing onto his arm as he turned to go.
“Stay with me,” you insisted. He nodded and reached to grab a chair.
“No, with me,” you lifted a corner of the blanket. Dean didn’t speak, he just climbed in next to you and let you lean against his arm.
After a few minutes, Dean’s breathing evened out and you smiled.
He was your protector, always.
But maybe there was some ways that you could save him, too.

-----
You had just woken up-jolted awake-in the dead of night when sticky pyjamas started itching your legs.
You sleepily pulled your leg up, your fingers roaming around to feel for the itchy part when realization hit you-You wet the bed. And as a storm of thoughts started hitting you, tears pooled down your face.
You didn't mean it. You didn't want that to happen. The things haunting your dreams took full control of you. Of your body. You didn't mean for this to happen. What will Sam and Dean think of you. What would they-
"Kid."
A little gasp escaped your throat before you went quiet. You blinked through the tears, still under the shock and fully unprepared.
"Get out, get out. Get out." You histerically shouted, pulling the covers up to hide your body. "Get out!"
But Dean's furrowed eyebrows showed no cooperation. He wasn't about to leave you. And his careful steps contrasting your harsh demand for him to go only showed that.
Your small hands gripped the covers harder as he closed in on you. "Kid, what's gotten into y-"
"Don't-"
"Don't ask me to leave when you obviously need my hel-"
"I don't. Please lea-NO"
A yell that you did not permit escaped your lips when Dean's thigh was only inches away from resting on the bed. "Don't sit! i-i-" A storm of choked up sobs welled up and burst . And it seemed like Dean finally understood when he sighed, understanding and sympathetic.
"Oh kiddo..." His hand gently went for the covers, which you held tighter, but he tugged at it a couple of times and you let go, bringing your legs close to your upper body, enveloping them in a defensive manner.
And just as if you weren't humiliated enough, Sam entered your room, a mixture of worry and sleepiness puzzling his features.
"She..." Dean hesitated, causing embarrassment to flush your cheeks and more tears to gather in your eyes.
"I...I'm sorry. I-I was having such bad nightmares and i-" You sniffled, unable to hold the tears in. "I don't kno-"
"it's okay...Honey, come here." Sam came over, holding his hand out for you to hold. "come here." He softly pulled you out of bed. "Let's go take a quick bath."
You followed Sam to the bathroom, and a shower and a fresh change of clothes later, you find yourself settled in between your pillow,ms, right beside Sam.
He handed you your little bunny when he noticed a change in your features. "Don't...think about it too much, pumpkin." Sam spoke. And it somehow arose that embarrassement and fear within you again. Your cheeks heated up. You were once again feeling the same you were earlier.
"I'm sorry that i caused you troub-"
Your little mumbled was halted when Sam cupped your cheeks, enveloping the entirety of your face. "We're sorry that you have to go through that every night. And that you had to witness the monstrosities of the world at such a young age."
You lowered uour gaze to the ground as he continued. "Please do not apologize to us."
Your brother shifted his body to lay on his side, facing you, and as you did the same, he wrapped his hand around your back, pulling you close to him.
"Nothing can hurt you now. I got you."
------
I'm sorry you struggled with that ❤️❤️ i hope this fic brings you the comfort needed ❤️

-----
"Lookie here"
A voice you have so carelessly gotten used to, tinted with a hint of disappointment and of passive aggressiveness. "Miss wild life has just come back from her adventures."
You sighed as your boots tiredly thump the metallic steps of the bunker and Dean emerged through the metallic columns.
"What?" You threw your arms out. "Am i not allowed to go out now? Should i ask for your permission for everything?" You spat out. Fucker really had to do this as soon as you came back home?
"No!" Dean rose from the chair and dangerously made his way to you. "You could've answered the phone one of the 10 times i called, though!" He sounded enthusiastic for a second. "Or maybe just gotten home on time." And then that enthusiasm shifted to disappointment. And after a few seconds of silence, he spoke again, his voice fatigued. "What are you doing, kid?"
It was a simple 4 worded question. But the answer to it requiered a few shrinks and lots of writing. You didn't know why you were acting this way, really. To you it was no big deal. Why do they want to force everything on you? Get home at this hour, wear this and not that, eat, don't talk to that person, don't haunt this and that...You were just done with all this attention to the little details that meant nothing to you...You just..wanted them to notice you, what you liked, your qualities, the fact that you knew well enough how to haunt. There was also the fact that...handling things on your own was no longer a possibility..The pain, the nightmares, the memories.
"I'm not doing anything, Dean. I just got home like-" You stop to look at your watch. "A fucking hour late. Boohoo, what a big fucking dea-"
"LILY."
You stop! Faltering for a tiny moment before quickly recovering, adrenaline pumping through your body.
"Don't raise your voic-"
You'd spoke but Dean interrupted you, closing the gap between you, sending you staggering backwards. But you still hold your head up high, chest puffed up and ready to fight...cleching your fists as your hands trembled.
"i don't think you understand, lily." Your brother wrapped his hand around your arm, looming over your -what felt like- tiny body. You held your gaze down. Are you still going to fight? Or are you going to apologize and move on?
"It's not because i let you loose that it's actually acceptable for you to behave this way. I understand that you're angry and that you're taking it out on me-"
"that's fucking stupi-"
Fight it is..
"it's not stupid, you're acting out like you're five."
"i swear to god and i promise you, if you ever do this again, lily, you're done. And not done the way you usually are. I promise you that if you do this ever again, i will make sure you never forget that day. "
You scoff and shrug, the perfect cocktail for Dean's eyes to go lower, darker. Angrier. But all that bitterness washed away... and he nodded, slowly.
"Okay then" He let go of your arm and you internally wished he didn't. It felt now like you'd rather he grounds you and yells, because that smile meant that whatever was coming, was going to be much worse.
"Since you're all grown up and ready to take care of yourelf, let me change it up for you."
Much worse indeed..
He stood up straight and you shrunk again. You didn't want this!!! This is not what you had in m-
"We've already got enough problems on our plate, you acting out, with your temper tantrums and your shit-" He shakes his hands. " i'm not having it."
You'd speak up...apologize..But you're too angry and terrified to even think. Let alone talk.
"You do this shit again, you're out. Capiche?"
You opened your mouth to speak but!- you're stunned. And a lump grew heavy in your throat as regret set in....
"And you watch your language, or else i promise you i'll smack your face so bad your jaw will hurt."
Your eyebrows stood up in surprise..Never has Dean EVER been this violent. And by the looks of it, he meant it. He meant all of it. Every single word. And you...you-
You burst into tears, choking as saliva pooled in your mouth. You've never felt such things and-and you don't get why he'd eve-
"I asked you a question, lily." He thundered but you were in no state that would get you to stop crying, anytime soon. Only an unintentional whimper escaped your lips. "Lily, i asked you a question." He demanded again, groaning higher.
You nod, hoping it would get him off you but...that only infuriorates him more. "ANSWER ME."
his tone turned more violent, piercing your ears and you nodded again. "Yeah. Yes-I I understand." Your lips trembling as your upper body leaned away from him.
Just then does he let go of your arm. "'Out of my face now, kid."
Without hesitation, you stepped aside, heading for your room.
You placed the back of your hand on your mouth, covering it before another wave of tears comes in.
You might've fucked up, badly this time, as Dean has never been this mean to you. And it just felt like....John and Sam all over again.
You had to do something about. But it could wait. Until Sam came back.

Buzz cut season.
Part 1, previous chapter here
Summary: Sam looses his hair and his siblings can't help but make jokes about it.
Warnings: humor, siblings being siblings, mentions of violence later on), mentions of a dead mother and cat, mentioning of self destructive behavior
Pairings: Sam and Dean Winchester x younger sister! reader, Castiel x Winchester!reader (platonic)
A/N: This fanfiction is based on THIS post made by @myfandomhell <3
Tumblr media
"Well, Sammy. There's no need to lie about it.", Dean speaks, while leaning back in his chair. He is sitting in front of his brother in the library of the bunker. On the table are multiple piles of ancient books about witchcraft and mysticism, however, Dean chooses to ignore them:" After all those years of begging you, I am actually very happy that you listened to my advice. You do look much better like this. Even though, I probably wouldn't have cut it this short, just-."
Sam closes his eyes and rubs the bridge of his nose in pure frustration. After all, this has been going on for three days now. He takes another book into his hands and sighs:" I really don’t know how many times I have to tell you that I didn’t do it."
“Didn’t do what?”, Y/N who wanders into the room tilts her head, she places her pink “best sister in the whole world” mug on the table before sitting down next to Dean. He scoffs and playfully nudges her arm:” Our drill Sergeant over there claims that he didn’t cut his hair.”
It takes her a few seconds, but eventually, her carefree smile begins to turn into an irritated one: "W-What?" Dean, who didn't catch his sister's change of expression chuckles as if it's the funniest thing in the whole world:" I know, right?" Y/N clenches her jaw before she stands up again. She steps over to one of the large bookshelves and scans the old (and occasionally dusty) books. A few seconds later she pulls one out and opens it up. Her y/e/ced eyes skip over the chapters rather nervously.
"What's wrong?", Dean asks, still grinning from ear to ear as he takes a sip of his beer. However, when the huntress doesn't respond he turns around. "Y/N?", Sam shuts his laptop and blinks in bewilderment:" What are you looking for?"
His sister looks up, a worried look on her face:" You promise that you didn't simply cut your hair?" The younger Winchester wrinkles his forehead while letting out a breathless chuckle:" Hold on a second, Y/N, what-." "I need you to promise me?" "I promise." There is something flashing up in her eyes, that tells him this situation just took a dark turn.
Y/N takes a deep breath before nearly slamming the book on the table. The two brothers move closer towards it and for a few seconds they simply stare at the brownish paper, before looking back up. "What…what are we looking at?", Dean asks, while scratching his temple, his green eyes move back towards the pages. Y/N's right index finger finds its way to the little caricature:" This!" "And that's…?"
"Two days ago, while I was reading the newspaper I happened to stumble across an article about some guy who needed to be institutionalized after he started ripping off his own skin. He claimed, that a little goblin-like creature took his late mother's gold necklace.", Y/N explains:" I thought it was funny, you know. Small Goblins, taking people's prized possessions." She clears her throat:" Anyway. Yesterday, I read another article. A woman started to cut her arm off, declaring that she couldn't care less about her limbs after a small green creature grabbed her cat's ashes. She had to be institutionalized as well."
"So what? How does that have anything to do with me?", Sam asks and Y/N runs a hand through her hair. "Well.", she starts and sits down:" I looked into it, and turns out this little goblin actually exists. It's Irish folklore, and the opposite of that whole "golden pot at the end of the rainbow" myth. They're called "Cavecrackler". They primarily come during the night and steal something that's very meaningful to the individual in order to kind of bond with the victim. And then…"
Y/N stops talking and bites her lips. "Then what?", Dean asks, while Sam's eyes move down to the page. They widen as soon as he reads the last paragraph:" They slowly steal their souls."

Hiii!! Firstly, I love your writing and I hope you’re having a great day!! I was hoping to request a Winchester sibling fic where the reader is really comforted by physical touch but is really observant and receptive to the fact their brothers are emotionally constipated and touch starved so the reader has never really asked for it but then one day either just a bad day or bad hunt and the reader just asks the boys to hold them or one of them to sit in the back of the Impala with them? Thank you so so much and I hope you have a lovely day!! 🫶
So close, yet too far.

Life as a hunter was never still. You were constantly moving. Constantly looking over your shoulder. Constantly chasing what could be your last day on earth. And you wouldn’t ever have said you regretted it. No. In fact, you wouldn’t have changed it for the world. Hunting creatures and saving the world? It was all You couldn’t have imagined a better life…
But sometimes you found yourself wanting life to just slow down for a minute. It was so hectic and you just needed a breath. A hug. With such a busy life, there was no time for just spending quality time with your brothers. Or anyone for that matter. It was an endless cycle: Wake up. Research. Hunt. Drive. Sleep. There was no time for sitting on the couch and watching cheesy movies together. Nor was there any time for curling up together like you used to do when you were smaller. You found yourself yearning for it. For a hug or simply just a gentle arm around your shoulder. It used to bring you so much comfort. But times were tough with all that had happened recently. The three of you were even more on edge than ever before.
Your brothers had always told you that you could ask them for anything. That you could tell them whatever you wanted… but this wasn’t just something you could ask them for. You had seen how they often shunned away from touch. From relationships. Having seen so much pain and having lost so many people…they struggled to allow themselves to let their guard down enough to enjoy a tender moment. Even with you. So no matter how much you yearned for it you could never bring yourself to push the want from your mind and into words.
So when the hunt went worse than you could have imagined you kept quiet.
Dean’s hand was right there; peeking out from the hem of his flannel. His fingers were bloody and calloused, scarred and covered in small cuts and yet his touch was still tender. You felt your own fingers itch to reach out and lace them between his. You wanted for him or Sam to wrap you up in their arms and hold you close. To squeeze your hand. Or a shoulder. But you knew that they had much more pressing matters to deal with that overshadowed “needy little sister”.
You trailed behind them, dragging your feet ever so slightly to kick up the dirt and leave trails between the orange leaves. You did not look up at your brothers because you knew you would see Dean's set jaw and Sam’s pinched eyebrows as they too mourned the hunt.
A small boy had been caught by a shtriga. He had been no older than 5 or 6 with these big, blue eyes that got impossibly wider as the creature stalked toward him. And his scream…it pierced through the air like a beam of light: clear as day yet providing no clarity. No safety like light should bring. Instead it was cold and filled with a gripping terror.
The three of you had been too slow. No matter how hard you dragged your stubborn limbs you couldn’t get to him fast enough. So now you trudged along in silence.
The sight of Baby did not, in fact, provide you with the relief you thought it would. Instead the gleaming of the bonnet against the moonlight just made your stomach churn. You knew that you would all try to bury the memory in a box, deep in the back of your mind. But it was never that easy. They tried hard, but you would hear them late at night. Dean hardly slept as he tried to drink his troubles away and Sam barely left his room. And then there was you who lay awake staring blankly at the ceiling as you wept softly, wrapping your arms around yourself to curl up in a ball. It didn’t bring the same comfort as theirs did, like it had done when you were small and naive when you crawled into their bed after a nightmare. When things weren’t so fucking complicated.
Tears pricked in the corner of your eyes as you reached for the metal handle. You couldn’t do it. You couldn’t sit in silence to be left with your own thoughts. You couldn’t be alone. Not right now.
“Sammy…”  Your voice was quiet. Hushed. Barely a whisper pushed out on cracked lips that trembled.
Sam paused, his hand halfway between where he had been picking at the hem of his jeans and the handle of the passenger door. He lifted his head, humming softly in acknowledgement.
“Sit with me… Please.”
“Of course.” His face melted and he moved in one swift movement.
He slid in the backseat, leaning against the door frame and stretching out across the seats. He pulled you in to lean against his side, wrapping his arms around you. You lay your head on his shoulder, snuggling into his side. And began to weep.
“Kiddo?” Sam asked gently. “What’s up?” His hands traced small circles on your arm.
Dean reached over the back of the seat with a concerned look, though part of it could be easily mistaken for fear. “It’s not your fault, Sweetheart-” He started.
“Just…hold me. Please.” You clung onto Sam, your other hand reaching out to settle atop of Dean’s. Their touch was comforting, yet you couldn’t help the wavering as you wept. “I don’t want to be alone right now.”
And so they did. Sam nestled you further into his side, tucking your head beneath his chin and Dean clambered out of his seat to join the two of you in the back. He settled down on your other side, sandwiching you between the two of you. And they held you. They ran their fingers through your hair, held your hand and spoke to you. They held you tight and the three of you stayed close together, with no intention of moving any time soon.

"sacrifice, that's what we do for the people we love"
being the middle child in the winchester family...
Tumblr media
I’d imagine you being like two years younger than Dean and two years older than Sam. So like literally the middle child
Your memories of your mum are fuzzy but you can recall a few things
When Mary died you were only two so you didn’t really understand what was going on for a while.
When you all first left Lawernce you spent most of that first night in a motel room crying because you wanted your mom and your bed. (Dean had to comfort you cause John left his two toddlers and baby alone in a motel #dadoftheyear)
When you were like ten your dad told you about what he had been doing for the past eight years. You were terrified but he made you promise not to tell Sam. He also made sure you knew that it was your job to keep Sam safe.
Basically, you stopped being a child at ten.
You and your brothers were really close.
You and Dean basically trauma-bonded over hunting and also having wayyyy too much responsibility at a young age.
Out of you and Dean, you were more emotionally available so Sam tended to tell you more.
As he got older he would talk to you about getting out and stuff. While your dad and Dean were very much into hunting you and Sam were more of on the sidelines.
Sam got his love of reading from you. He’d always tell you about the books he was reading and what he was doing in class.
You’re the mediator for the family. It was always you who broke up fights. You were also able to calm your father down.
Mentioning in a passing comment that you didn’t want to hunt when you were like 15 and John flipped.
“If you don’t want to help kill the thing that killed your mom then you can get out.”
So you did. You left at 15 for 6 months.
In reality, you went to stay with Bobby but you never told your dad that.
Dean begged you to stay and would call every day. So would Sam.
Around this time Sam also started to want to leave.
“I wanna come stay with you.” You sighed leaning against the wall. The phone rested between your ear and shoulder. “You can't Sam. Dad would flip your too young.” He let out a frustrated noise but let the topic go. (for now)
Dean would also call often and beg you to come home.
“Look he didn’t mean it, alright. It was just a heat of the moment thing.”
You did eventually come back. (Bobby wasn’t happy but let you go)
Your brothers were overjoyed and you actually got an apology from your dad (shocker.)
Things were ok for a few years and then Sam got a bit older and started talking about school. He’d only talk to you about it though. It wasn’t that Dean hated the idea but he didn't understand.
One day when you were 18 and he was 16 Sam asked to talk in private. So you took him to a dinner near the motel and he told you about Stanford.
“One of my teachers thinks it's possible.” He pushed the pamphlet towards you. “I just need a signature from an adult and I know Dad won't sign it.” You quietly looked over the pamphlet for a moment. A sense of pride washed over you as well as relief. This was his way out. “Of course, I’ll sign it.”
You both kept it quiet for the next year and when his acceptance letter came in you both kept it to yourselves but you were so proud
#proud parent moment.
Though eventually, Dean found the letter.
“Did you know about this?” He asked holding up the letter. You felt your blood run cold as you grabbed the letter from him. “Yes. I did know.” You admitted. “It was me who signed the papers.” Your brother's eyes widened a look of betrayal crossed his face. “Why would you do that?” His voice began to rise as he spoke. “Because Sam deserves a future Dean.”
You two didn’t speak for a while after that. Dean got over it though.
When it came time for Sam to leave that's when all hell broke loose.
You’d never heard your dad yell so loud. He and Sam went back and forth for hours until your younger brother just walked out. You and Dean both followed him. After calming him down you went with him to the bus and said goodbye.
Dean was kinda non-plussed (inside he hated it and was worried sick). You were worried but happy that he was getting out.
When you and Dean went back to the motel John was furious. He blamed you (of course)
“This is your fault. You're the one who put all those ideas in his head and look what happened.”
Dean jumped in front of you and told him to back off.
“Sam’s his own person you can’t blame her for this!”
After this, you and Dean get closer. John starts taking more hunts alone meaning that you and Dean spend a lot of time just driving around.
You would probably class this as the first time in your life you felt truly happy. Hunting with Dean was easier and there were fewer arguments.
Sam would call u often to update you. When he told you that he’d met a girl you were so happy for him. (it really seemed he got out)
But then your dad went missing and Dean insisted on getting Sam to help.
You were glad to have both your brothers back but at the same time felt insanely guilty as you watched Sam fall back into hunting.

In My Kitchen
Tumblr media
Words: None
Summary: Dean comes to visit his twin siblings, YN and Sam, but he isn’t received well.
AN- Set when Sam goes to Stanford.  He has a twin sister.
Warnings: Angst
“There are some things in this world that simply should not exist. One of them is sitting in my kitchen right now.”
Prompt from this website:
https://www.squibler.io/blog/tumblr-writing-prompts/
“Hi.”
YN jumped as she entered through the back door.
“Bub?” YN gasped at her big brother leaning against the kitchen counter. YN saw his silhouette in the darkness.  She dropped her bags from the day and ran into his arms.  “What are you doing here?” His little sister tucked her arms into his chest and smelled the body wash wafting from him.
“I came to say hi.  Driving through.” He kissed her cheek.
“I hadn’t heard from you, I-” She sucked in a deep breath.  “How are you in my kitchen right now?”
“I’m fine, shortcake.” He pulled her back into a hug.  “I got busy and kept meaning to call you.  I’m sorry. Hunting has been keeping me busy and-”
“And I thought you might be dead!” YN shrieked all of a sudden.  Dean’s sister pounded his chest with her fists at an awkward angle.  “How dare you? You can’t just do that to people!”
“I’m sorry, shortcake.  I’m so sorry,” he let her hit him.  He felt he deserved it anyway.  Dean stood there and absorbed her tears and punches.  After she slowed, he took her wrists in his hands and used a small amount of his strength to still her. “I’m sorry.  I didn’t handle it well, all the hunting and hurt, and I needed time.  Every time I think about you, I see all the people I couldn’t save.  You are innocent, and so are they.  I dropped the ball, and I’m sorry.”
“Sammy and I have been so worried.”
“He lives here too?”
“We’re twins, Dean. It’s very hard for us to be separated. And the way it worked out, it was cheaper for us to live together.” YN shrugged. “He’ll be home soon from class.”
“I better go, then. Don’t want to upset-“
“Dean?” Sam walked through the front door. “YN?”
He turned toward his sister, confused at the situation. Trusting her more than their big brother, he narrowed his eyes at her.
“Dean was driving through,” she said with seriousness, telling her twin to keep his cool.
“You have been GONE.” Sam growled.  “You disowned us and told us to leave! YN cried for days because of you!” He stomped to his shorter sibling.  “Leave.”
“Sam,” YN warned.
“No, it’s fine.  I understand.” Dean stepped back.  “Sorry to have interrupted.  See ya on the flip side.”
“Dean, no.” YN walked to him.
“No, it’s my fault.  Take care.”

Breakfast
Tumblr media
Dean Winchester x sister!reader, Sam Winchester x sister!reader
Not proofread, word count is around 400ish
"Boys, breakfast ”I called from the kitchen. Sam came shuffling through the doorway, looking like he had just woken up.
“Dude,” I chuckled, gesturing to his ruffled appearance. All I got for a response was a glaring look.
“If looks could kill.” Dean mumbled, appearing seemingly out of nowhere. I walked over to the table with two steaming plates of food, extra bacon for Dean and sliced strawberries for Sam. Over the years I’ve gotten pretty good at mastering both boys' favorite things, considering I share most of my personality with them.
“That’s way too many calories dude, you trying to give him a heart attack.” Sam joked as I set both plates down. Dean just grabbed the first piece he saw, shooting me a grateful smile. I grabbed my plate of eggs and sat in between them.
I’ve lived with the boys for my entire life, going from living in motels with our dad, to it just being me and Dean when Sam went away to college, and now all three of us are living in the old bunker back home in Kansas. Me and Dean have always been really close, Sam used to joke that we were like conjoined twins, always together.
“What are y’all doin’ today?” Sam asked while salting his eggs.
“Me and Pix are supposed to fix up the Camaro today before it rains.” Dean said as he finished his plate. I had gotten the nickname Pix when I was twelve, Dean had just come home and found me practically bouncing off the walls after eating an entire pack of Pixy Stix by myself. Even years after and many objections on my part the name stuck.
As for the Camaro in mention, we had gotten the old car from Bobby when I turned sixteen for me and Dean to fix up. We've almost gotten it all fixed up, just a few minor things to take care of.
“Did you even chew” I laughed when I noticed his empty plate, Sam letting out a similar chuckle. Dean shot a playful glare my way before his phone started ringing. He answered, sighing while Sam got up and grabbed both their plates.
“You can leave them in the sink, I'll do dishes later” I told him. He nodded, heading back towards his room, Dean doing the same.
I smiled down at the table, grateful that even during all the chaos in our lives we can still have moments like these. Even though our lives are crazy, dangerous, and all of the above, I know one thing’s for sure, no matter what happens we’ll always have these times to look back on.
