They are the first to become your vessels.
The first to fight with you.
The first to know of you.
It’s something they brag and hold in high regard. Even if you don’t use them as a vessel anymore, they still hold the title of being first. Something that not even the Archons can deny. They let the others know how much they did for you; how much they care for you and you, them.

The twin you chose will silently brag, confident that they’re the main vessel that, no matter what, they are a vessel you will always see and use when the time is right. It makes them happy, euphoric even. They put you above all else, because you are worth more than anything else. They view you as kind and understanding, for you are the only one to truly provide aid, even if it is limited. They know you’d travel with them to the ends of Teyvat to find their twin.
Located deep within the teapot was a room that only they could enter, a room where they, with the help of a certain alchemist, were able to form your body. Even if it isn’t completely stable, nor usable, to a certain extent. Your body couldn’t walk, but eating and talking was enough to satisfy the twins’ needs. The twin rests their head against your thighs, their hands squeezing at the soft flesh, staring at you with pure adoration. You run your fingers through their hair, and they talked about their journeys and travels, even if you know it all, had seen it all arise—you let them speak.
“Anything. My God, I’d do anything.”
“You’re so good to me.” Your voice comes out as a whisper as you grow tired, your spirit and mind slipping back into the twin’s body, the form made for you falls limp into their arms. They hold on to your fragile form, their lips brushing against that of your body.
They love you, the true God of Teyvat.

Amber can’t help but stay close to your side. The mere mention of your name in Mondstadt has her running to where you are. As you fight enemies, you might just catch a glimpse of an arrow brimming with flames, setting off attacks, before you could even pull out your sword. She is devoted; she is utterly and completely yours.
Feeling you within her, your thoughts become hers and her actions becoming yours. She fights with all she has, a sigh of relief leaving her mouth. She finds strength in your words as she finds courage in the wind. She’d do anything to please you, even if that meant fighting Stormterror alone. She’d do it without a second thought. Her hands run over her covered arms, shuddering at the feeling. It isn’t you, but she feels you. Happily allowing you to use her, even in the moments when she experiences death, and wakes up beside a statue as if nothing took place. As you worry or fret over her.
“Please. Forgive me! Let me try again!”
“Alright.” She is desperate, for she knows the wrath of a God. They are cruel, for when the Anemo Archon is upset, the winds blow and trees howl, and renders her unable to ride the winds. Yet you, your anger, is never that great nor frightening, and you indulge her in her delusions.
She is obsessed with you, obsessed with the idea of you.

Kaeya is a flirt till the end, but will not hide the feeling of wanting to be wanted. He is honest, but at the same time, he denies such emotions. He easily laughs at the Archons, admitting that he is better than them, far more worthy than them. Far more needed and desired. His sword is tight in his hand, as he defeats his enemies within your name. The drink light in his grip as he drinks to you, staring at you through the traveler’s eyes.
A groan leaves his lips, sinking further into the plush blankets of your bed, a bed that only the traveler sleeps in. A bed in which your scent, your smell transcends that of reality and radiates off the blankets. He’d at the worst get scolded by the twin, but for now, it doesn’t matter. Your smell is intoxicating, and he makes him weak. Feeling his hips rut into the mattress, shoving his nose deeper into the sheets. He loves, love, love, love, loves you. His hands gripped the thick blankets, a muffled groan leaving his lips. His eye patch discarded to the side. Maybe one day, shivers ran down his spine, rubbing himself against the mattress. If he was so lucky, you’d walk in. Walk in on him, his hips sputtered to a stop, a groan leaving his lips, and maybe even join him.
“I’ve been waiting for you.” His voice is sweet as the Traveler returns, clearly tired from the day’s venture. Watching you offer him a smile, before plopping face forward into the bed, you can’t tell, but the twin can. They give him a knowing look, but say nothing.
The bed smells like him.

Lisa would consider herself the calmest of the group, and the most to treat you as an average human. Ignoring the glares sent her away when she calls your name and not that of your title. Now don’t mistake her for being the least loyal. She worships you just as much as the others. Wiping out those who whispers out dreadful things about you, sharing stories and tales of you whenever it feels right to. She loves you.
Her fingers drummed against the book, watching you read, trying to gather information of creatures. Creatures abnormal to that of Mondstadt and from across the sea in Inazuma. She pretends as if she isn’t paying attention, simply indulging herself in the important novels, a pleasant smile on her face. Every time you ask of what she’s reading, she simply shrugs, saying it’s boring. Her fingers fiddling with the edges of her skirt, before sliding it upwards. Her expression neutral, she lets nothing slip as she imagines you, from mere pictures that were painted. Imagines it’s you and her in the smutty erotic novels she reads, you and her closer than ever. Trading her fingers with yours, she bites her lips.
“Is the book good?”
You ask again and her gaze flickers to you. Before looking at the pages. She lets out an airy hum and a small chuckle. She closes the book with one hand, staring at you again. “It could be better. Though--” She pauses, pressing her legs together, as she slides her wet hand through her thigh, drying them off slightly and brings them to her lips, as if she was merely thinking.
“It was an enjoyable read.”

They are the first to become your vessels.
The first to fight with you.
The first to know of you.
It’s something they brag and hold in high regard. It isn’t something that the archons could take away. They never would attempt, lest it displease you. Though one day, the twins vow, locking the door to the room where your body is hidden.
No one is worthy enough to see that of your true form, not in person.

you never had the highest level of self-preservation.
when you’d come to teyvat, the world seemed so kind, so you never learned to fear it. bugs never stung, any allergies you had never really acted up besides a sniffly nose, and the sun never burned. if you tripped, you landed softly, in the hands of grass that would never dare to harm you, and a breeze swept by the soothe the sting of your palms. the wind carried you down from high places, the water always keeping you afloat, the entirety of the natural world at your side.
or, rather, nearly the entirety.
despite wandering constantly, it took a few months to actually run into anybody. in fact, the only way you knew you were in teyvat at first were the sunsettias, and the hilichurls when you finally came across one of their camps. you have a feeling the dense forests and overgrown paths knew something you didn’t, looking back on it.
maybe you should have listened.
you stopped in the middle of a well-worn path of yours, stilling the sweet flower you were twirling in your hand. a few feet ahead, a stunned amber mirrored your look of shock, though her recognition was tinged with something more… bitter.
“amber?”
the bowstring in her hands doesn’t lose its tension. “greetings.”
that’s not the knights’ prescribed greeting, your mind says. you tell your mind to shut up, because that’s not what you should be thinking about when you’re looking at amber.
you wave, trying for a smile, and emotions you can’t catch flash over her face in rapid succession.
“how do you know my name?”
whoops. “who hasn’t heard of the knights of favonius?”
“those from other lands.” for being so young, her voice is so tired. she sounds like she’s barely 18, yet she’s so worn out… nobody this young should be so exhausted.
after a moment’s thought, you step forward, extending your flower-
her arm moves faster than you ever could, raising, aiming, and letting the arrow fly before you can blink. her shoulders are tense, her chest barely moving despite how harshly she breathes, arms still posed around her bow.
it’s only then that you’re aware of the white-hot pain in your throat, the sting of icy numbness swiftly taking its place.
the sweet flower falls to the ground, your body soon following.
Tumblr media
when you wake up, the first thing you do is press a hand over your throat, but all you feel is the chill of your own skin. no arrow. no blood. you check your shirt, but there’s no blood there either.
it’s like it never happened. but you know it did.
still keeping a hand to the area, you sit up, ignoring how your body protests. you’re in another field, unsurprisingly, green grass and blue skies and red birds all around. it’s hard to believe that your run-in with amber wasn’t a dream.
even if you know it wasn’t.
you rise shakily, feeling very much so like you’re relearning your body. how to stand, how to dig your fingers between the sections of bark on a tree so you don’t fall, how to breathe when it feels like all the air in your lungs was in a race to get out. still, you breathe.
still, you stand.
still, you move on.
Tumblr media
the earth seems angry.
looking out from the jade chamber, this is clear. the skies are an irritated gray, billowing clouds heavy with rain. they had come from nowhere, suddenly washing in from the north in with no warning, but a single drop has yet to fall. the ground occasionally shakes, enough to make leaves quiver, but no earthquake has come. it’s odd, like the very rock is holding in its breath, waiting for the trigger to let loose what is certainly disaster upon the land above it.
even the tianquan’s gems, normally large, sterling rocks swirling around her fingertips, refuse to answer her call. as she flips over a small coin of amber, the most she’s been able to summon, she wonders why.
one of ningguang’s many assistants comes out of the chamber, telling her that keqing has a report for her, and she tells them to send her out with a wave of a clawed finger. normally, she’d come inside—normally she wouldn’t be out here to begin with—but this… oddity in the landscape has her attention.
the door behind her silently slides open and shut, the clicks of the yuheng’s shoes the only indication of her presence.
“it’s odd to see you outside at such an hour, my lady.”
it’s midday.
“what is it, keqing?”
“this letter came in for you.”
an envelope enters her periphery and she takes it, careful not to damage the paper as she inspects the wax seal. it bears the insignia of the favonian knights.
“that’s hardly a rare occurrence.”
“indeed, but this one carries significant importance.” she takes a breath, an explanation on her tongue, but it dies. she knows she shouldn’t let her biases get in the way of the tianquan’s work, but this situation feels so wrong. her vision burns at the back of her neck despite her attacks doing less damage, the electro that dances across her skin hurts more than it should. it’s wrong, horribly so, but she needs to-
“keqing?”
she meets the tianquan’s eyes. ruby red dissecting her every move, and keqing is quick to look away.
“apologies, my lady. as i was saying…”
Tumblr media
the dead refuse to rest.
they have always been unruly, leaving behind legacies and lingering feelings, leaving the living and letting them deal with it. what would be known as the wangsheng funeral parlor was established to battle these lingering debts, and it seems that even after 77 generations, the current director still has to pick up that mantle.
she’s felt it all day. the rowdiness of the undead, the spirits dancing and twirling around where they shouldn’t be. her soul told her there was one too many around, and so she had set her mind on going.
the director adjusted the flowers in her hat, watching in annoyance as her consultant thought over her words. she thought the answer was quite simple, and had rushed to fix the problem, but he was adamant that she explain herself first.
“and you’re certain?”
hu tao groaned, squeezing her eyes shut so they wouldn’t roll. “yes, i’m certain! surely youve noticed too, or is that vision for nothing?”
a glimmer of irritation crossed zhongli’s calm eyes. “this is a matter of utmost importance, director. the dead refusing to die is a serious issue.”
“you think i don’t know that? i run a funeral parlor-“
“director-“
“no. i’m going to wuwang hill, and all i need you to do is take care of the parlor while i’m gone. that’s it.”
“director, please. you cannot throw yourself into dangerous situations and expect me to sit by idly.”
“what are you, my dad?”
“i would hope not, as your father is currently deceased.”
in the gaping silence that followed, hu tao couldn’t decide if she was more shocked at the fact that he brought up her father’s passing, or that he had borderline joked about it.
zhongli cleared his throat, the only sign of apology she would receive. “i will go alone if i must.”
“you want to go-“
“indeed. i cannot allow you to venture into such an unsafe area on your own, and i myself wish to find the answer to this. if you cannot find anybody to run the parlor in your stead, then i will simply go alone.”
names and faces of employees ran through her head, options brought up and discarded quicker than any decision she’s ever made before. something in her soul demanded she go to wuwang hill, her pyro vision an insistent press between her shoulder blades, urging her to leave zhongli and just go. it was illogical, irrational, and she knew that if he saw he’d be worried and when all she needed was to simply leave-
a name emerged from the clutter.
“ferrylady.”
though his jaw ticked, zhongli nodded.
Tumblr media
wuwang hill itself is uneasy.
zhongli has seen many things during his lifetime, but few of his memories could compare to this. the ground quivered underneath his feet, only truly steadying where he, as the lord of geo, stepped.
in truth, he had felt the same disturbance as hu tao, but had wanted to preserve his reputation as zhongli, ignoring the cold sting in his soul from where his gnosis used to be. his plan was to go after hours, when the dark could shadow his form, but now that he was here he was glad he didn’t.
the forest’s canopy was denser than usual, it seemed, barely any light filtering through the leaves. the will-o’-the-wisps shone brighter and more frequently than normal, and not a hilichurl was in sight. it was strange, unnerving to walk the familiar path, and he found himself prepared to summon a stele at any moment. the air itself felt tense, his element not resonating right.
how can stone feel hollow?
hu tao stepped closer to him, eyes uncharacteristically wide as she looked around. “why does it feel so… empty?”
he moved a hand to her back, urging her on faster. “i don’t know, ms. hu. please, do hurry.”
her fingers play with the tassels on her shirt as she walks, speeding up at his side. she’s always been fond of the macabre, but this… this isn’t that. this isn’t slow and sticky, raw honey made of skeleton bees that drips through bones and pulls at the hair atop skin, this isn’t the abrupt hit of symbolism or the stop of a heart as you’re face to face with a corpse, the smell of rotting flesh mixing with the bile climbing up your throat.
this is sharp. angular. a spike with every step she takes on the familiar dirt, thorns clinging to the lining of her lungs and digging in to hide from the chilling air. the sense that she doesn’t belong here, that she should leave, is steadily growing in response to the drive to keep walking, and she wonders if and when it’ll balance before tipping over. regardless, she keeps walking, steeling her spine and forcing assuredness into her walk.
besides her, zhongli isn’t doing much better. the air reeks of the sweetness of the divine, and the thundering in his heart matches, but here? of all places? he knew his god—he prided himself on it—and knew that they didn’t like places like this. and the feeling of wrongness, the stone beneath him seeming to slip under his feet and forcing him to walk quicker to make up for it, the claws of tree branches and roots of bushes somehow larger than before. as they approached the stone steps, he didn’t know what to expect, for once. he was unsure whether to be on edge, or to scold himself for being tense over nothing.
surely, he thought, rounding the corner, it couldn’t be nothing?
Tumblr media
you watched the water ripple from your safe spot on the edge of the stone path cutting through it, smiling at the way the fish followed your hand when you hovered it over the surface. they were beautiful, some kind of koi by the looks of it, and certainly not what you expected.
when you recognized the wisps of wuwang hill, you had initially been afraid. it was dark, even during the day, and filled with monsters. not to mention it held the barrier between life and death, something you were not keen on ever getting close to. but as the shouts of the qingce villagers echoed in your ears, you decided it was the safest option, at least for the moment.
and it was. there were no hilichurls, no cicin mages, and the wisps seemed to float alongside you, lighting the way for a while before another came up and took over. they’d guided you to the domain, whose stone was shockingly warm. it was the crimson witch domain from what you remember, so that checked out, but for it to physically affect the stone…
you wondered what the archaic petra domain would feel like if that were the case. could stone feel more stone-like? if you were to somehow break off a chunk, would it do more damage than a regular rock? would that even count as geo damage?
you let your hand trail across the water, feeling scales bump against the pads on your fingertips with another smile. you wondered where they got their food, as the pond seemed both shallow and fairly barren, but there seems to be more and more greenery as you look. were your eyes adjusting to the light better, or were they the kinds of plants that only bloomed under certain conditions? but no, that would be for flowers, not-
“who are you?”
the harsh voice makes you jump, the fish jerking back before crowding the water near where you’ve fallen over. your surprise nearly made you fall in, but as you see who’s approaching you, you think that might have been better.
boots stomp over the stone that’s been your tentative camp, not stopping until they land toe to toe with yours. eyes carved from cor lapis glare down at you, cutting any argument you may have had to shreds.
yes, partly because zhongli is intimidating, but…
lighter shoes click and draw your attention, but you don’t get to turn your head far before you’re met with the pulsing black and gold point of vortex vanquisher.
“do not interest yourself in that which is out of your reach.”
oh.
you swallow in attempt to remedy the sudden dryness in your throat, following the handle of the polearm up to meet his eyes once more. his eyeliner looks sharper than on his in-game model, you note, and he has an earring, the golden jewel on it a perfect complement.
his eyes narrow, the set of his jaw making you think he’d sneer if he were anybody else. he rips his polearm from the stone besides you, “what could you possibly be looking at?”
you know this is it. you know exactly why he hasn’t spun his weapon back around, you knew it from the moment his sunset gaze fell upon you. so.. why lie?
“you’re beautiful,” you whisper.
and for the second time that week, you die.

IMPOSTER AU! BUT WITH AN OBLIVIOUS GOD READER
Tumblr media
✿ trigger warnings: cultish behavior, yandere's, mentions of weaponry, attempted murder, religious themes, god reader being an idiot because they don't know someone is impersonating them
✿ notes: the reader is actually the god of teyvat, this isn't an isekai story. so if you don't like it I suggest you scroll by.
Tumblr media
It's been a millennium since you have descended in Teyvat. Mostly for the reason you had other out worldly matters to deal with, so you didn't have time to visit your acolytes or take care of teyvat as a whole. So you decided to create a small extension of yourself, Celestia, to observe Teyvat while you were gone.
After unloading your work you decided that a small vacation wouldn't hurt. After all, a god deserves to rest too. Should you make yourself known to your acolytes? You probably shouldn't, some of them can be really...suffocating *Cough* Morax *Cough* and they might be busy with their own respective nations.
You decided to fuse back with Celestia, feeling some of Celestia's memories flood your mind and- oh my god. What the hell happened?
When did your acolytes start a war???
Most of your acolytes died a few centuries after you left. Some of your acolytes were so unbecoming at the time, and all you could feel is disappointment. They swore to themselves they would be peaceful, why did they decide to turn their back on you?
You decided once you descend to Teyvat, you will give them a lecture about promises and being truthful to your words.
You made sure to be careful when transferring a piece of your consciousness to Teyvat. Transferring a small piece of your power was hard enough without accidentally exploding the vision holder, if you brought even a fourth of yourself to the domain it will collapse. You can feel the familiar sensation of entering a world, feeling the breeze slowly brush past you as the sunlight beams above your form.
Monstadt, what use to be a frozen wasteland now became a city flourishing with people and plant life. Based on what you can remember, Barbatos, your little wisp friend, has now ascended to godhood and has dominion over Monstadt. You can remember how happy your little wind wisp would be every time you come to visit him after a long day of answering prayers and managing the constellations. He always loved head pats, and he fits in your pocket too.
Maybe you should visit him first, just like in the old times. You started walking through the forest, greeting every slime you walked past and every hillichurl that would see run towards you. Some have even offered you trinkets! Though you sadly couldn't wear it since it was on the brink of breaking apart, you promised to cherish it for centuries to come.
Sunlight shines through the end of the forest, but as you made your way to the exit an arrow whizzes through you. Not even getting the chance to make contact with your flesh (it's not like this form even has flesh), you saw a figure above a tree branch before it gracefully landed on the ground. You saw that they were holding a bow.
"Stay where you are, imposter!"
'Imposter?' You thought, what was she talking about? "Excuse me Amber, but who are you referring to?" Amber seem to be tense the moment you said her name. She prepared her bow again, making sure it's pointed to your head.
"How do you know me? And I was referring to you. You're trying to impersonate the Divine Creator." You made an 'aah' sound before waving dismissively, giving her a care free smile.
"You must be mistaken, you see I AM the Divine Creator. I know I haven't descended for a long time and this might be sudden but I promise I will make up for all the time I was go-"
Before you can try and reason more with Amber, an explosive plushie was thrown at you.

About The Cultists I
How some members of The Church of Mondstadt joined the cult, what they did in the cult, and where they went when they were told to leave.
The Brainrot that started it all
Ft. Aether, Albedo, Amber, Barbara, Bennett, Diluc, Diona, Eula, Fischl, Jean, Kaeya, Klee, Lisa, Mika, Mona, Noelle, Razor, Rosaria, Sucrose, Venti
Tw: Cults, Children being in cults, Child Abuse
Published: September 3, 2023
Words: 1,704 (1,667 w/o the names)
Pages: 5.1 (4.8 w/o the names)
Aether Via: Was introduced to it by his sister and daughter shortly after waking from a five-year coma. But didn't join until two months later, when he met a third member of the cult; a police officer named Amber. Shortly after joining, he became the one and only mailman for the cult. Or rather, one of the only mailmen, as he prefers to take his daughter with him. Because he doesn't have a car, and it takes a day's walk to get from one compound to another. Was one of the few members that didn't get their own place when everyone was told to disperse. Currently has no job.
Albedo Kriedeprinz: Was introduced to it by his mother's friend Alice, during his college years. Joined shortly after graduating, and after a visit to the Temple of Liyue, he dedicated himself to perfectly recreating Their Grace's appearance. He learned several different forms of art to do so, from crafting stained glass portraits to carving concrete statues. When told to get his own place, he got a two-bedroom suburbian house between his job, a park, and the Church, to make things convenient for him and Klee. Currently works as the Head Forensic Scientist for the Teyvat City Police Department.
Amber Outrider: Was introduced to it by her superiors, Jean and Kaeya, when she was in police training. Joined shortly after her grandfather went missing. She didn't have much to do there, until some teens and kids moved in, which is when she appointed herself as their unofficial PE teacher. A job that she continues after she's commanded to move off-property. She moved into an apartment near the heart of Teyvat City, which she shares with her friend Eula, and Eula's friend Yanfei. Currently works as a patrol officer for the Teyvat City Police Department.
Barbara Pegg: Was introduced to it by her sister Jean, and a nomad named Alice, not long before she became an idol. But didn't officially join until her father found out and kicked her out of the house for "Betraying God". After quite some time there, she became both the Deaconess for the Church, and a nurse for the people living there. Is one of the few that didn't move off the compound when everyone was told to move out. Currently works as an Idol on YouTube.
Bennett: Was introduced to the cult by his childhood friend Barbara, and joined after running away from his abusive foster home. When he's not studying or sparring, he's either wandering the fields that surround the Church, or exploring the distant forest behind it. Due to still being a minor, he never moved out of the Church. Currently has no job.
Diluc Ragnvindr: Was introduced to the cult by his boss, Varka, but didn't join until years later, when the Church of Snezhnaya saved his life. He stayed there for a bit, before discovering that several old friends were members of the Church of Mondstadt. That, combined with the fact that the Church of the first-born was closer to the Dawn Winery than that of the seventh-born, inspired him to move compounds. Sells wine to the cult at a 75% discount. When he was told to get his own place, he simply had a small renovation done to the Dawn Winery and moved in there. Currently works as the CEO of Dawn Winery, and the Restauranteur of a bar named Angels Share.
Diona Katzlein: Was introduced into the cult by Kaeya after he saved her from a fierce winter storm, and joined them shortly after. She was disturbed to learn that the majority of the members drank alcohol, but pleased to learn that none of them were abusive like her dad. She has taken it upon herself to create a drink so disgusting that it would turn her new family away from drinking, but has yet to do so. Due to her age, she never moved off the compound. Currently has no job.
Eula Lawrence: Was introduced to the cult by Amber shortly after becoming a cop, and joined after discovering how geniunely nice a majority of the members were. Teaches the teens how to navigate the wild after noticing them go on multi-day adventures. Gets an apartment for her, Amber and Yanfei to move into in Teyvat City. Currently works as the Captain of Teyvat City's Fourth Precinct.
Fischl Luftschloss-Nerfidort: Was introduced to the cult by Bennett, and joined when she realized that it would surround her with kindred spirits. Was almost overjoyed that they let her crow familiar, Oz, stay with her inside the Church as opposed to outside of it. Often goes on adventures with the other teens, which aid her in remembering tales from her homeworld. Still lives in the Church. Currently has no job.
Jean Gunnhildr: Was introduced to the cult by Varka, but didn't join until after a curropt cop drove her childhood friend away. After joining, she slowly but surely worked her way up to High Priestess of the Church of Mondstadt, and as a reward, became one of the few people in the cult to know who Barbatos was disguised as. Her position as High Priestess gave her permission to stay at the Church when everyone was told to move out, but she decided to get a house in Teyvat's suburbs with Lisa. Currently works as the Deputy Police Chief in Teyvat City.
Kaeya Alberich: Similarly to his brother, he was introduced to the cult by Varka, but didn't join until after Crepus's death, when the Church of Mondstadt saved his life. Out of all the members, he spends the least amount of time on the compound, as he's either busy working, or busy spreading the word of Their Grace. Got himself a one-bedroom apartment when he was told to move out. Currently works as the Captain of Teyvat City's First Precinct.
Klee Hexenzirkl: Was born into and raised by the cult, although it did take her a few years to become an official member, as no one knew what kind of Vision to give her. Spends most of her time creating fun shows for the other members, all of which are loud, colorful, and accidentally destructive. Is the only- if not, then one of the only- members to move out of the Church when the adults received the command. Currently has no job.
Lisa Minci: Was introduced to the cult by her old college classmate, Cyno, but didn't join until after she met and befriended Jean. Is the founder of the Church of Mondstadt's library, and spends her time either managing it, or teaching the teens and kids inside of it. Is currently renting a house in Teyvat City's suburbs with Jean. Currently works as the Head Librarian in the Teyvat City Library.
Mika Schmidtt: Was introduced to the cult by his brother's, Huffman, coworkers back when he was a teen. But he didn't join until after he graduated from police training. His job at the cult is to scout for new members to join, and report all he finds on them to people like Varka and Kaeya. Currently lives in a studio apartment in Teyvat City. Currently works as a patrol officer for the TCPD.
Mona Megistus: Was saved from homelessness by the cult- The Church of Fontain, to be specific- who helped her get back onto her feet. But later moved into the Church of Mondstadt to spare herself from the COF's High Priest. Spends her time predicting either day-to-day events, or bigger, slow-moving ones. Currently lives in a studio apartment in Teyvat City. Currently works as an astrology/zodiac writer for a news company known as The Steambird.
Noelle Maiden: Was introduced to the cult by Jean and Kaeya while at the police academy, but didn't join the cult until she failed her training for the third time in a row. Spends most of her time either cleaning the Church of Mondstadt, or cooking food for her fellow Worshipers. When told to move out, she got herself a job as a full-time nanny for a rich family in Teyvat City. She lives with them in their penthouse.
Razor: Was introduced to the cult when Barbatos and his followers chose their Church of Mondstadt, but didn't join until he befriended Varka and Lisa. Spends his time showing the other teens, and sometimes the children, how to navigate the forest behind the Church. Never moved out because of his age, but technically never moved in, either, as he prefers sleeping in the woods.
Rosaria Church: Was introduced to the cult by Varka, but didn't join until they saved her from a life of crime. She adored the cult's endless kindess to her, and decided to repay it by becoming the first nun of the Church of Mondstadt. But after Morax's disappearance, she was contracted by Varka and Jean to keep the cult safe. Currently still lives in the Church with Barabara and the children.
Sucrose Bio: Was introduced to the cult through Albedo during her college years, but didn't join until after she lost her only two friends. Is constantly trying to invent things to make her fellow Believer's lives easier, or constantly trying to improve the things she's already invented. Is currently living with her coworker, Timaeus, and works as a Forensic Pathologist for the TCPD.
Venti Himmel: Is the first member of Creator's Grace, and was granted the position of Anemo Archon, a vessel of the deceased firstborn, Mondstadt, due to recruiting thirty new members within a month. And is also the only one of the only still-remaining Archons. Prefers to keep his identity secret so he can a) relax more and b) get a closer and more personal look at his follower's lives. As the Archon of the Church of Mondstadt, he was allowed to stay, but decided to move out to keep the appearance of him being 'just another member' up. Is currently living in a homeless shelter, and gains his money by performing street art.

SAGAU voicelines request!
How would characters react to Reader cheering for them through the screen (like "C'mon, you can do it!" "Good job, [character name]!!!" "Amazing!!!! Good work!!!"]...but the characters are the ones less used/thought to be weak by the fandom.
Here they are self-aware of their status in the teams, like Kokomi/Barbara/Diona/etc being the healers, Bennet/Mona/etc supports, or Amber/etc just...useless (no offense, i myself main Amber from the start of the game). Like they know they are supposed to be the heal or support of the team but you still main/use them as a DPS. Hopefully you understood my request, I apologize if it sounds messy.
Ah my sweet summer child, every character I build is a ‘support’ with like two exceptions. DPS? Never heard of ‘em.
Also, I framed the voice lines as if the Traveler was asking the other characters thoughts on you. I feel as if quite a few of them would be too shy to be open with the reader, so I figured this worked a tad better.
The way that you cheer them on means the world to them. Sure, they knew they weren’t the greatest at this sort of thing, it wasn’t their specialty, yet you didn’t mind. You didn’t get angry at the fact that they weren’t able to do massive amounts of damage. You loved them just as they were: and it meant everything to them. Your encouragement, your support, your unwavering faith in them; it pushed them to go further and further, striving to overcome their own limits, to grow even more. They’ll put forth the effort without hesitation if it means they can bring a smile to your face.
Tumblr media
“Ah, you are familiar with [Name] as well Traveler? Interesting! Personally I consider myself very lucky to have received their guidance. I could not have led Watatsumi Island nearly as well as I have were it not for them. I am not someone who relies heavily on brute force, but even still I have found comfort in the power that [Name] has granted me. I only hope I can use it to protect the people of Watatsumi to the best of my ability.”
Tumblr media
“Oh! Traveler! I wanted to thank you for helping me out with the whole Albert situation. Is there anything I can do for you in return? … Eh? My thoughts on [Name]? Well I deeply appreciate them and all they’ve done for me. I hope to someday make them proud!”
Tumblr media
“If you’ve come to try to get more booze then you can turn right back aroun- Oh! It’s you! How are you Traveler? Did you need some help with something? Hm? [Name]? Well yes, of course I know them! I’m not dumb! What I think of them? Well… They’re very important to me. They have always been there for me, and that means a lot to me. Plus when they take me traveling I don’t have to deal with those smelly alcoholics!”
Tumblr media
“Traveler! There you are! Wanna go on an adventure? …Huh? My luck? Well, yeah I guess I’m always a bit nervous about my luck, but recently I’ve had [Name] watching my back! When I have them watching my back, I know that everything will be just fine!”
Tumblr media
“What is it? Honestly, who comes knocking on someone’s door at this early in the morning?! H-Huh?! What do you mean it’s already noon!?!? Ah this is really bad! Sorry no time to chat! I have to get ready for [Name]’s next Spiral Abyss expedition! I can’t bear to let them down!”
Tumblr media
“Oh hey Traveler! It’s been a while since I saw you here in Mondstsdt! How about we stop by Good Hunter and catch up a little bit! Ah, you have a question for me? Sure thing Honorary Knight! Ask away!” “[Name]? Well yes, of course I know who [Name] is! I don’t get to hear from them often, but whenever I do, it’s the best feeling in the world! While a little part of me wished they’d call for me more, I can make due with what I’ve been given. After all, as Outrider, I have to keep watch for trouble!”

Aether
To be honest, Aether has a bit of a superiority complex.
He's your first vessel, the only vessel you've never left behind, your favorite vessel to talk through, any important conversations are done through him, and he takes all of those details to heart with the idea that even though he's lost his twin, he's gained a god who will assist him in every step along the way while he's looking.
His favorite way to worship and thank you for your help is to place himself at the forefront of every conversation about you.
He's gained respect from the other vessels as your first vessel and many respect him as your voice piece, speaking on your behalf with everything, from what foods you would favor based off of what you cook most often to what your temples should be designed as based off of which buildings you ooh and aah at the most.
He views himself as an extension of you and your will, and nothing in Teyvat could convince him that he is not the manifestation of what you believe.
Amber
Amber has always felt most at home in the sky, gliding being one of her best and most respected skills.
As the gliding champion on Mondstadt, there really was no one better than her to teach Aether how to glide, and by extension, you.
Amber feels most connected to you when she's gliding through the air, remembering the feeling of your voice surrounding the world around her rather than emanating from the Traveler.
Gilding reminds her of that slight gasp and noise of joy she hears when enjoying the sky.
Reminds her of your concern in that treasure thief's hideout when she jumped across that expanse, she knew there was some way to make it across but your concern simply enforced that she had to try.
Honestly, Amber feels a bit guilty for not recognizing you when you first met, the whispers in the wind weren't her biggest priority until she focused on teaching the Traveler everything she knew about gliding and words in the air weren't exactly normal, however now that she knows, she's thankful you trusted her to teach your vessel.
She's also thankful that because of you allowing her to teach you, she's getting requests from citizens of Mondstadt to help them with their gliding license. You've given her the chance to do more of something she loves and has put the life of your vessels in her hands, she can never thank you enough.
Kaeya
His methods of appreciation might be a bit outlandish compared to the others.
He's seen first hand the response that using The Guide's title garners and he's rather proud of the fact that as a vessel, he can use it freely.
He feels a little bit of shame for the amount of things he's put the Traveler and therefore, The Guide, through, but he doesn't feel too bad about it. He was only doing his job after all.
Mondstadt as a country isn't very religious and Kaeya is no exception. His worship for [Name] is directly tied to how much amusement and strength they give him and each adventure, travel and battle causes him to respect this being just a bit more.
Kaeya also knows better than to blame The Guide for his mistakes in life and finds it rather refreshing how willing The Guide is to admit when something going wrong is their fault.
Whispers of 'sorry' and 'that must have hurt' or even 'I promise I'll make it up to you' always soothes any injuries better than food or proper healing and Kaeya takes it as a bit of a compliment how much a god apologizes to him.
Kaeya almost doesn't see The Guide as being a god, but no one else could have that kind of power. The Guide is kinder than any god he could think of and he only hopes they never change.
Lisa
As someone with a much more in place job than most other Knights of Favonius, she can't exactly go out to gather gifts or offerings unless you personally pull her outside but either way is fine with her.
Lisa builds up her own reputation by writing stories and religious texts of you, occasionally interviewing other vessels and especially Aether when he's in town, honestly he never gets a break with how many people ask him about [Name].
Her writings are often for the eyes of the Knights of Favonius only, worrying that if she leans them, people will never give them back and goodness knows how much Lisa cares for her books.
Speaking of which, any chance she has to have you and Aether in the Library, she'll take. Showcasing how nicely she takes care of the Library and showing off her favorite books.
Any books that you show any appreciation for will promptly be taken off the shelves and kept for your eyes only, she would rather be fired from her position than let you down by not having your favorite book and Jean knows better than to fire a vessel from her ranks.
One day, Lisa will show all Mondstadt what she's written for you but only once she's certain they understand how well it must be taken care of.
AYYY! PAIMON BECAUSE NO ONE WRITES PAIMON! Okay, okay, actual writing, let's do this.
Bonus, Paimon!
Paimon often gets glossed over in regards to you, by everyone honestly, but they seem to forget a key detail, Paimon never leaves.
She's always travelling with your vessels and while she boasts quite a lot, she'll keep the knowledge she has of you private.
She's there every time you pause the game, listening to everything from speaking to other people to when you leave the device online while sleeping.
She knows your name, she knows your favorite foods, she knows your favorite songs.
Aether might consider himself your mouth piece but Paimon knows more about you than any vessel could dream of, and she has no problem making others aware of that if they threaten her.
Aether might speak for you, but Paimon knows you, even if she doesn't tell your followers everything.
She'll make sure she's heard by you one day, one day you'll realize that if any of your followers truly care, it's the devoted and hard working Paimon.

"Do Paimons Dream of Floating Sheep?"
Mondstadt: Part I Part II Part III Part IV
Based on this
Featuring: Gender-Neutral Reader, Paimon!Reader, Genshin Impact various x Reader, Yandere Genshin Impact
Word count: 3k
Synopsis: Being dragged into the world of your favorite video game is hardly your idea of a relaxing Saturday, and being dragged into the world of your favorite game, taking over the role of mascot even less so. Unfortunately, it seems fate has no interest in what you consider to be a normal day, and it will do anything to replace your idea of normal entirely.
Includes: Fear of heights, death, vomiting, Reader straight up not having a good time
Stormterror has arrived in Mondstadt city.
You, the Traveler, and Amber run past the city gates as Stormterror lunges towards the giant statue. Three large, whistling tornados whirl to life at his command. You can clearly see the tainted blood pulsing upon his back. It seems your plan of stopping Stormterror without hassle has completely fallen apart. Of course. Of course, it wouldn’t be that easy. You suppose not even the Anemo Archon himself is strong enough to go against the script.
You narrowly avoid a gust of wind that comes your way, but the Traveler isn’t so lucky. He’s swept up by the current immediately, reaching out a hand to you as if you held the power to stop it.
You don’t.
You can’t do anything.
“Kaeya!” Amber calls, running up to the blue-haired man. The two of them begin chatting, catching each other up to speed on the situation at hand. “Kaeya, this is [Name] and Aether, and…wait, where’s Aether?”
“He got swept uo by the storm. Look,” you say, pointing up towards him.
“He’s fighting Stormterror?” Says Amber. “But that’s so dangerous!”
“Amber, why does he have one of your windgliders?” Asks Kaeya.
“Huh? Oh, uh…eheh…No…reason…” Amber scratches the back of her head and Kaeya raises an eyebrow. You’re pretty sure he only asked that to get a rise out of her. You pay it no mind, however, instead focusing on the battle above you. You want to help, but there’s nothing you can do. You’re not the protagonist of this story. No, you’re nothing but a mascot. You can do nothing but grit your teeth and watch.
Meanwhile…
A gust of wind picks Aether right up off of the ground, hurtling upwards towards the sky. He uses his windglider, hoping to glide down somewhere safely and reconvene with you as soon as possible. He can’t protect you from up here.
That was his plan, but…
“I’m preventing your fall with the power of a thousand winds.” An unfamiliar voice calls out to him from beyond the clouds. He whirls around, hoping to find the source of the sound, but to no avail.
“You can’t see me,” the voice—a male, he thinks—says. “That’s okay, just listen to my voice. They’re safe down there. I need you to trust me.” Aether nods, though he isn’t sure if the man can see him.
“Good. Now, concentrate. See yourself grasping on the wind and harness its power.” Aether does as he’s told and gathers a huge sphere of anemo and hurls it at Stormterror. He weaves through clouds, collecting their power and directing it back towards the dragon. The wind hits a glowing, purple spot on the dragon's back and it cries out in agony.
A weak point. Good.
Aether readies more anemo, preparing to hit the same spot again when Stormterror flies upwards and out of sight, retreating. Aether doesn’t bother chasing after it. There’s no need to. Instead, he glides back down towards the city, where you, Amber, and a person he doesn’t recognize all stand around.
Amber waves Aether down as he lands, introducing him to Kaeya. “You really gave us a fright,” she says. “I can’t believe you went up against a dragon!”
“Are you okay?” You ask. “What happened up there?”
“I heard a voice,” he said. “It told me that it prevented my fall using the ‘power of a thousand winds’.”
“Do you think it could have been Barbatos? What did the voice sound like?” You, of course, already know the answer to these questions, but you ask anyways, hoping to guide the conversation to a realization.
“It sounded like the voice of a young boy,” says Aether. “I don’t know who it was, though.”
“The power of a thousand winds, hmm?” Kaeya puts a hand up to his chin, seeming to be in deep thought. “I don’t know if the voice you heard really was Barbatos or not, but either way, I think we ought to report this to our Acting Grand Master.”
The four of you head to the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, where Jean and Lisa are there waiting for you.
“Mondstadt welcomes you, windborne travelers. I am Jean, the Acting Grand Master, and this is Lisa, our resident librarian.”
“Oh, are you two sweeties here to help us out? You’re both so adorable! Especially you, cutie,” Lisa winks at you. “Sadly, the timing is regrettable… Stormterror, or Dvalin, his true name, has been ravaging our cities as of late. The Ley Lines and elemental energy are completely out of control.”
”Right,” Jean says. “If it weren’t for that, we would have had better ways to help you than just putting up wanted posters. We simply ask that you rest in Mondstadt while we help look for your sister.”
“Sounds good. Where’s the Inn?” You sputter as his lax response. Wasn’t the protagonist supposed to be eager to help?
“H-hey! Shouldn’t we at least offer to help out?” Aether looks at you as if to ask, ‘Why would we do that?’ “I mean, isn’t that the right thing to do? Besides, if that really was the voice of Barbatos you heard, wouldn’t he be more likely to help us if we help him first?” You say. Aether seems to ponder over this for a minute, then nods.
“Alright. If you want to help, then let’s help.”
“Good. In that case, we’ll need a plan.” Kaeya says.
"Since Stormterror is now attacking the city directly, we may have an
opportunity to cut this problem off at the source. Lisa has revealed the sources of Stormterror's power with her magic."
"Right," Lisa says. "They're located in the abandoned Four Winds' Temples. Stormterror's ability is likely the result of it drawing its power from the temples. Our objective is to deal with three of the four temples.
"I trust everyone understands why we are only dealing with three." Jean looks around for confirmation, and everyone, save for Aether, nods their head.
"I don't," says the Traveler.
"Dvalin is the last of the four winds," you explain.
"Knights of Favonius," Everyone seems to stand at even greater attention as Jean addresses them. "Time is against us. We need to take the initiative and act before the situation gets even worse. There is no point in maintaining a defensive position."
•~•~•~•~•~•
You and the Traveler arrive at the Temple of The Falcon where Amber is waiting for you.
"[Name]! Traveler! It's good to see you," she says as you approach. The three of you exchange greetings, and Amber fills you in on the mission.
"These temples have been abandoned for years now, so there might be a monster nest inside. [Name], you can't fight, right? Don't worry, just leave it to me! I'll protect you!"
"Me too," says Aether. You smile at them.
"Alright, I'm counting on you. Let's head in." Aether and Amber nod, and the three of you enter the temple.
The temple is more or less how you remember it (though, to be perfectly honest, you hardly remember it at all), a decrepit building with an open ceiling showcasing the "sky" above. There's a pyro mechanism shooting fire to your left and a few boxes to your right. Amber shoots the mechanism to put it out of commission, then you and your party head left.
A Door of Resurrection activates as you walk past it, and you find yourself wondering what would happen if someone were to die here. The door indicates that they would come back, just like in a video game, but there's no way to know for sure.
Unless…
No. You can live with not knowing. You hope you never have to find out.
Amber and Aether make quick work of the rooms while you stand back and try to stay out of the way. It isn’t long at all before you end up in the third or fourth room. That on its own is hardly anything notable, but this room is different from the others.
In the previous rooms, you could see the “sky” above you, but you had no way of knowing whether it was real or not. Did the domain create its own sky? Was it a pocket dimension? You had no way to know for certain.
Until now, that is.
You stare out into the sea of clouds before you, your feet planted firmly on a floating pedestal in the sky, and at once, you know. This is the truth behind the domains. They are not just old ruins, they are gateways. Portals to another world.
Perhaps you can find your own world through these as well…
You are brought out of your musings by an arrow shooting its way past you and popping the anemo slime in front of you. Then, two more, and again, more slimes fall, each creating a wind current upwards. Amber and the Traveler both outstretch their hands to you, windgliders already at the ready.
“Let’s glide together!” They say in unison, then turn around to glare at the other. Though you feel a little awkward about taking sides, you eventually take Amber’s hand and allow her to carry you. She is the champion glider of Mondstadt, after all. You trust her experience. You don’t look at Aether when you take her hand, you know you wouldn’t be able to bear his hurt face if you did.
The three of you set off into the air, and you try not to look down. Unfortunately, the view upwards is hardly any less nervewracking. You see a large anemo slime off in the distance, heading straight towards you. Amber can’t shoot it while she’s carrying you, and Aether is too far away to hit it with his sword. It is all you can do to brace for impact as the slime shoots wind your way, knocking you from Amber’s hold.
You fall, but only for a moment. Something catches you.
No, that’s not quite right. Nothing catches you. You catch yourself. You’re flying. It’s terrifying. It’s exhilarating. Amber and Aether are both gaping at you as you twirl around in the air. Perhaps this new body isn’t so bad after all.
You fly up to the top platform, then start to get dizzy, so you lower yourself to the floor.
“I thought you were afraid of heights,” Amber teased, gliding up to you.
“This is different,” you huff. “At least when I’m flying, I can control where I’m going. You can’t do that with a windglider at all!”
“I suppose that’s true,” Amber laughs. “Still, though, that really surprised me. I had no idea you could fly.”
“You’re not the only one,” Aether chimes in.
“I actually didn’t know I could do that either.” You say.
Finally, you arrive in the room where Stormterror’s crystal is. It doesn’t take long for Aether to destroy it with the power of anemo while Amber gives support and you watch.
•~•~•~•~•~•
You and the Traveler arrive at the Temple of The Wolf, where Kaeya is waiting for you.
“Ah, [Name], it’s good to see you. You too, Traveler.” You think Kaeya is trying to wink, but there’s really no way to be sure. Either way, his flirtatious tone has Aether glaring. You have a feeling this raid is going to be exhausting, and not just physically. “Come closer. Can you smell that?” Kaeya says, gesturing to the two of you.
“Uh…smell what?” You ask.
“Something has happened in the temple. I imagine there’ll be slimes, hilichurls, and whatever is giving Stormterror that power. Ah, don’t worry about the fighting, [Name], your friend and I will take care of that.” Perhaps it’s just his voice, but there’s something oddly gleeful in his tone that sets you off.
“I’m not some damsel, you know?!”
You smile and nod, but you don’t say anything. The three of you head off into the domain, where another series of challenges await you.
Another Door of Resurrection bursts to life in front of you, and it occurs to you that no one commented on the last one. Perhaps it’s something only you can see..? You open your mouth to ask, but Kaeya speaks up first.
“Hm, if I’m not mistaken, the end of the temple should be up there.” You look up. Above you is a large platform in the sky where, like Kaeya guessed, lies the end of the temple. You’re trying to figure out how to get a wind current to take you up there when an idea strikes you.
Right. How could you have forgotten?
“Leave it to me!” You say, glad to finally have something to do. You crack your knuckles, bracing yourself for flight. How did this go again? Right, first you need to lift off, then…
You did it! You’re flying! You look down, excited to see the look on Kaeya’s face when…
You look down. Oh. Oh wow. The ground sure is far. Were you always this high up? You start to feel nauseous. You hear Aether’s voice, but it sounds so far away. The room is spinning; you’re seeing double. Is the ground getting bigger or are you getting closer?
Dizziness overtakes you, and you fall head-first into the stone flooring. You feel pain shoot up from your neck down to the base of your spine, but only for a moment.
“Hm, if I’m not mistaken, the end of the temple should be up there.”
Huh..?
You blink, looking around dumbly as confusion washes over you. Green light pulses from behind you.
Could it be? You whip around, staring at the Door of Resurrection as if it would grow a mouth and tell you the answers. But it doesn’t. It doesn’t even need to. You already know.
You just died. But the Door saved you.
“[Name]? We really ought to get a move on. What are you spacing out for?” Kaeya’s voice tears you away from your thoughts.
“I…I’m afraid of heights. I’m sorry, but I can’t go up there. I’ll wait for you down here.” Aether looks at you, clearly worried but unsure of what to say.
“At least when I’m flying, I can control where I’m going. You can’t do that with a windglider at all!”
You try to smile at Aether, urging him to go on despite his worries.
At least when I’m flying…
Aether, after much hesitation, leaves with Kaeya. They’ll make quick work of the temple, you’re sure. Perhaps even quicker than they would have with you around.
I can control where I’m going.
You let out a sigh as you sink to the floor.
Nothing else happens.
•~•~•~•~•~•
You and the Traveler arrive at the Temple of The Lion, where Lisa is waiting for you.
“Hey there, cuties. Good to see you—especially you, [Name].” Lisa winks at you, leaving you a bit puzzled. Her words seem to have put Aether in a bad mood. Well, you wouldn’t be happy if someone called you their second favorite, either. Still exhausted from the last temple, you merely wave to Lisa, hoping to get this temple over with as soon as possible. “Is everyone ready?” She asks. You nod.
“I hope this trip is uneventful,” you murmur. The doors open, and the three of you step inside. You allow your mind to wander as you follow behind the others. Normally, it’d be a bad idea to be so absent-minded in a domain, but…
Well, what’s the worst that could happen?
You shuffle along through the hallways as Aether and Lisa take care of any nearby threats. As suspected, they really didn’t need you here. Well, that’s okay. You’re fine with being useless so long as it means you can rest.
Aether slashes another hilichurl with his sword, and for a moment, you imagine yourself in its place. You wonder what it would feel like to die from an injury like that. Surely, it can’t be pleasant. Would it be worse than the stomach-dropping sensation of falling from a great height? Would it be worse than a broken neck? You aren’t sure. More hilichurls fall to the ground. It isn’t like the game. They don’t just disintegrate when they die. They bleed when they’re hit, their corpses don’t disappear. There’s no XP or rewards to be found here. Only bloodshed. Only death.
This whole temple reeks of iron. You cover your nose and mouth, but the stench doesn’t go away.
You don’t think you can take any more of this. You turn and run down the nearest hall, heaving and retching when you arrive in the next room over. You can hardly hear it over your own vomiting, but the sound of stone rolling across stone comes from behind you. You glance back down the hall, only to see it replaced with a solid stone wall.
Fuck.
You bang your hands on the wall and yell for help, but you succeed in nothing except for making your voice tired and your hands bruised. You might be here for a while, so you look around.
The room is square, and completely empty aside from a pedestal in the center (one that you really should have noticed earlier), upon which rests a glowing book of some sort. The cover is lined with gold, and it looks as though it holds the galaxy between its twinkling pages.
You walk closer to it, hoping to get a better look. The book opens itself before you, and at once, you recognize it.
It’s the Archive.

-YOU DIDNT NEED TO BE A GENIUS to get an idea of what was happening. Your lower body brushed against the soft yet sharp grass, it felt all too real. Your (e/c) eyes narrowed its way to a tree. An ordinary tree with many ripe fruits; one of it being able to take your attention.
Your hand circled on one of the fruits bottom and plucked it carefully, it matched exactly as your expectation. A plump fruit that seemed to be full of its juice and taste, an appearance that resembled a beautiful like sunset furthermore having a sweet and gentle aroma that is able to energize an individual.
Your lips slowly made its way near the side of the familiar fruit, the texture and feeling were soft yet hard. The aroma itself made your mouth faintly water, you swallowed your saliva having a high expectation out of this. After all, you always wanted to see what it really tasted like after collecting so many.
"Thank you for the meal." You lastly said and took a bite.
Your eyes widened a bit, this was far more than what you expected. The flavor was sweet but not too much to be like a candy. It was juicy enough to make you feel more hydrated than ever. It didn't take you long to start devouring the whole fruit at once
Tumblr media
"Better than i had thought." Your back laid against the tree, all of its fruits gone for it was rapidly consumed by someone (you).
You wiped off the fluid on the side of your face. A small smile looming over your lips "I feel more.. Refreshed than ever." Your tone consisted of slight suprise and satisfaction "Still, i cant seem to get my head wrapped around whats happening.." You mumbled quietly to yourself, having your fair share of the internet you were well aware on the many fanfictions and AU the game GENSHIN IMPACT had, but it having to actually become a real life situation is something too impossible to even happen.
Your feelings felt too mixed and unorganized. Half of what you felt was being thankful, because out of all the things you were gonna reincarnate in. The gods or whoever did it brought you into a more PG game; sure it had killing.. And some questionable things but as long as you live like an NPC things will go in the right track!.
With a goal set in mind you dusted off your hands following with walking down the dirt path that led to the gates of the iconic town MONDSTADT. you could remember it like it was just yesterday when you first played genshin. A feeling crept up to you, something similar - that you've walked down this path for millions of times and that muscle memory just took in. Deja vu didn't leave your mind until you were met with two guards infront of you.
"Halt. Who are you and what is your business here in mondstat" One of the guards spoke up, eyeing you up and down incase you were bringing any dangerous or threatening items to the city.
The guards other companion putted his hand on top of his friends shoulder "Wait, ___. They look familiar dont they?" His tone filled with suspicion, he couldn't shake it off as just a normal coincidence.
"What? What are you even saying ____. I believe you're making a far stretch in this one, i clearly remember that they have (opposite color) hair." The guards companion replied back with confidence in his answer. And it soon didn't take long for it to turn to a long and repeating argument on what was the appearance of the person they were arguing about.
"Jeez, who even is the person their saying. They must seem complicated" You thought to yourself while at the same time, was rubbing the back of your head - all you wanted was to slip into the city of Mondstadt but it seems to be much harder than you had thought in mind.
During the time the two guards were still rambling about the appearance of a certain someone. a silhouette of a girl with long silky brown hair, complimenting her appearance with a bright crimson bow that anybody could see from a mile away.
"Huh? I wonder whats going on over there.. Better go check it out!" The mysterious girl exclaimed, swiftly jumping down the soaring cliff. The moment her feet left the ground, wing like designs appeared behind her back which helped her safely land on the ground yet again.
"Whats going on here?" The mysterious girl walked between the two guards to stop their argument. Both her hands placed on her waist as she looked at the two with confusion.
"Oh- Outrider amber. Good to see you today" The guard greeted the named girl, AMBER. Amber exchanged the guards greeting with a smile "Good to see you today too. Now, will anyone care to explain what's going on?" She questioned, her hazel eyes glancing at the three people infront of her; You noticed how her gaze seemed too be longer on yours - as if she had something on her mind.
"I'll explain"
"Let me explain"
"So basically.."
You and the other two guards were caught off guard by the sudden synchronization. "Uhm, I can explain the situation" You spoke up while (e/c) eyes looked at the two.
"No, I've got a more grip and understanding standing on the situation, allow me" One of the guards replied back, his other companion raised a brow on what the other had just said.
"Please. I remember the details on the situation more clearly, I'll be telling you what happened Outrider Amber." His companion argued back to the other
"I'm doing you a favor so allow me."
"You're gonna leave out some parts so just let me do it"
"I'll do it"
"No, I'll do it"
"Guys.."
Tumblr media
"So.. What you're all saying is that this person just wanted to get inside mondstadt?" Amber questioned;it took a long while till you just decided to explain to amber what really happened. Still, you couldn't shake off the feeling how intensely she was staring at you for - it creeped you out badly but you tried not to make it too obvious.
"Thats basically what happened" You confirmed giving her a small nod. Amber's expression seemed to be in deep thought for some moments till she gave you a smile in return.
"Seems like theres no problem then! You don't seem to pose as a threat, uhm.." Amber trailed off not really having to get your name yet. "Oh! It's (Name), pleasure to meet you" You kindly greeted her
You expected a positive greeting back but instead, your body jolted slightly. Seeing her shocked expression staring at you deeply for a moment and soon returned to normal.
Tumblr media
Amber's expression calmed down and she gave you a apologetic smile "Oh sorry bout that... Just go right ahead" She offered, her fingertips gently wrapping around the back of her neck as her gaze were on the floor. You questioned her abnormal behavior earlier but the thought of going inside THE city of Mondstadt that you've dreamed ever since you first played made you ecstatic. Not to mention that you just met with one of the main side characters (amber) made you forget her strange activity just a few seconds ago.
You gave her a nod "Alright. Thank you!" And without hesitating you quickly walked inside the city of Mondstadt. The aroma of dandelions waved through the surroundings as people were joyful and free; something that you've craved since your 'previous' life.
Today is a brand new page in a book, where you're the one holding the pen and get to be able to write whatever you desire! WELCOME TO MONDSTADT
Tumblr media
Two pairs of hazel colored eyes followed your body whilst you gleefully strolled from shop to shop. Her gaze not leaving you for even a second, for fear shrouded over her. Fear that you again would leave her sight.
".. They can't be..."
"You've felt it too huh?"
"... Get the others.
"We can't let them get away"
Tumblr media
[A/N: HOPE YALL ENJOY PART 2. SORRY IT SEEMED SHORT, I'LL TRY TO MAKE PART 3 LONGER. ANYWAYS PROLOUGE IS DONE, MONDSTADT ARC WILL START NOW

Calling Monstadt girls your girls ~
Tumblr media
↳˳;; ❝ CALLING THE MONDSTADT GIRLS YOUR GOOD GIRLS ᵕ̈೫˚∗
Mondstadt girls x Creator!Reader
Eula, Rosaria, Jean, Lisa, Amber, Mona & Sucrose
Eula - May the gentle breeze softly send thee into a sweet sleep.
"Come closer, sit in my lap Eula..." she hesitates, unsure if she heard you right. Unsure if she is even allowed to get any closer to you. But nonetheless, her body moves on its own. "As you wish, my grace"
There is no hesitation anymore as Eula makes her way to you and finally settles in your lap, not uttering a word. She merely stares up/down at your face, not daring to look away or even blink. For her, this is the best place she can be. "Good girl, you listen so well"
A whine rumbles from deep within her chest. She is breathless under your touch. It takes every ounce of restraint she has to remain in place instead of leaning back into your hands. She shifts in your lap, only wanting to be a little closer. The hands you had placed onto her soft thighs aren't any help either. It only heats her up even more. Eula has forgotten how to speak. She seems utterly mesmerized by your touch, unable to do anything but whimper, moan, and purr. She is utterly submissive to you. Her eyes glaze over in sheer desire to be in your presence.
She doesn't question anything. She simply enjoys this moment. "Say Eula, are you my good girl?"
"Y-Yes, Your Grace. Yes!" Her voice is hoarse. Her breathing is strained. Her entire body trembles from the sheer thrill of being held by you. She leans back, finally giving in to her own wants and leans into your touch. "I didn't hear you, please, say it again, for me, hm?"
"Yes! Yes, I'm your good girl!" Eula seems positively delirious. She barely seems to be able to speak in the way that anyone else would deem 'proper.' She leans back, resting with her head in the crook of your neck.
"Good... girl...," she mumbles, seemingly unable to think of how to form words that might please you most. Her eyes glaze over. All this worship has put her in a trance.
"Your good girl...yours"
Rosaria - Do not fear your past, and do not be scared to come to grips with it
While Rosaria is a woman of pride who often insists on taking her own path, when she comes within a hundred miles of you, this attitude evaporates like morning mist upon contact with the sun. She could not care less for her own ideas when she is under your light, and she will follow you wherever you lead. And for a moment, she will seem content with you as her purpose.
"Sit in my lap" If you order her to, then she has no choice but to sit in your lap. She will wrap an arm around your waist, the other running the fingers of her index finger and thumb along the line of your neck.
As she presses her body against yours, she is aware of every sensation. Her heart beats quick, her breath quickens, and her entire body glows with heat. It is as if she is experiencing being truly alive for the first time.
"Good girl, hm?" "Yes, i am," she promises, her eyes drifting shut. She is completely at ease, no longer wracked with pain or weighed down by memories of what has passed. There is only you, and the fact that she feels at home whenever she sits in your lap. Rosarias arm tightens against you as she looks up at you, eyes full of worship.
"I'm your good girl." Her lips brush over the nape of your neck, her breath making your very skin tingle with pleasure. Her soft fingers trail across your skin, her hand drifting over your collar.
"You're mine," she whispers seductively. "I'm yours." It's as if all the restraint she ever held within melts away with each word she whispers to you.
"Only mine, only yours"
Jean - Dandelion, Dandelion, ride the wind to a faraway land.
Jean raises her head at your command, and moves to be closer to you. There's absolutely no hesitation on her actions, but her heart is hammering in her chest, the thuds of her pulse loud in her ears.
Her gaze is locked on yours, the emotions rising up inside, a maelstrom of heat and longing.
"Jean, my dear, please take a seat" She does as you ask, climbing onto your lap as you instruct. Her face flushes a deeper shade of red, but she says nothing. Her gaze is on your hands as you stroke her hair with care. Her breathing is ragged, the air in her lungs going stale from how tight she is gripping herself.
"I know you are stressing yourself with work again, so I want my good boy to relax a little"
"Yes," she whispers, but her heartbeat quickens even more at your touch. Jean doesn't feel like she can relax. She cannot fathom anything being enough for a moment like this. Her head leans forward against your body, and her eyes close as your fingers comb through her honey-blonde hair. "My good girl, always so hardworking..."
She shivers at your touch, leaning back further still. The emotions in her are like a wild storm of her powers, but she dares not move for fear of losing the comfort of your hands. "Yes," she says once more. Her eyes are closed, her heart hammering in her chest as you call her "good girl"
Her face is flushed a deep red by the sheer realization, good girl
Lisa - Such a calming breeze... Perfect for taking a nap, don't you think?
"Please, take a seat" Lisa looks startled for a moment, but her expression quickly warms up. "Of course. Your wish is my sole command." There is truth in that statement, even if it's a tad exaggerated. The woman can be a bit of a drama queen at times. When she makes eye contact with you, there is a spark. She moves over to you without hesitation, her hair blowing slightly in the draft.
This is certainly a... unique position to be in. You can feel the warmth exuding from her soft body. Shes got a strong presence, and it's hard not to be affected by the energy radiating from her. Lisa is practically purring in your lap, the tips of her hair tickling against your neck. Her hand brushes against your waist, almost instinctively.
"Tell me Lisa, are you my good girl?" "I am, Your Grace~" she replies instantly, and her tone is as sincere as it is eager. She is in your lap, after all. She can't help but be her most devoted for you. "I will always be your good girl, until the end." Her voice is hoarse, and she shifts her body slightly to be closer to yours. Her eyes are bright.
"Good...you better be" you chuckle at this, it was meant as a little joke. Lisa smiles at you, like a contented puppy. "Anything for you, my dear." She leans forward just enough to touch her lips against your cheek. Her body feels so warm and she smells so familiar.
"Your good girl would never deny you"
Amber - Outrider Amber reporting for duty! Just say the word if you ever need my help!
"Amber, I'm glad you're back. Please, come here" "Y-Yes, my grace" Amber replies in a voice no louder than a whisper. Completely the opposite of her usual tone. Her brown hair bounces as she moves, but she remains focused on you; moving slowly as to not surprise you with her haste. Each step is calculated, made with caution.
She waits to be within your vicinity, and then to your command. "Now that you're here, take a seat" you say while tapping your hands gently on your thighs, a sign for her to have it as her seat. Amber does not hesitate in her movement as your command is given. Her body is moving before the thought has even settled in her mind, as her body knows exactly what you want from her.
She lowers herself onto your lap, and she rests her weight against you. Her body is light, but it is only because her muscles have already gone slack under the weight of your gaze. (I mean excuse me but this girl seriously has to have some muscles with her abilities---)
"That's my good girl" In response, Amber's lips curve into a faint smile. Though she knows her position is humble, she is satisfied by it. Your praise only further fills her with a sense of contentedness, and she leans her weight against your chest, enjoying being close to you once more.
"Hmmm, such a good girl" Amber closes her eyes with a soft whine of relief. When you play with her hair, it has more of an effect on her than she wishes to admit. Her body leans into your touch.
"Yes, such a good girl..." she's in trace.
Mona - Fate is called as such, for it cannot be changed, nor can it be reversed. It can only but be accepted.
Your gaze is intimidating. It burns into her very soul, and she cannot shake the sense of dread she feels. But instead of faltering, she presses down all emotion.
Mona will be exactly who you want her to be.She looks away, bowing her head and looking to the ground. Her cheeks are warm. Her ears are burning. She is so terribly close to you. And soon she will even be closer...
"Sit in my lap"
She does so without hesitation. She doesn't know why, but she does. Its like every embarrassment she felt was gone with the words you said. Every ounce of her feels like it's on fire. The heat radiating from your body is overwhelming. But she does not flinch away. She does not squirm at your touch. She is entirely still as she sits in your lap.
She does not look at you. If she did, she would faint.
"Good girl, listening so well"
"Yes," she says, her voice quivering slightly. Her eyes are locked onto her hands "I-" she swallows audibly, "I'm your good girl"
She is shaking, though she still does not move. Mona remains completely still. She will not cause you discomfort. Your comfort comes before her own. Although you would never agree by this.
"Yours" she says again.
Sucrose - My Vision is my most important research tool.
"Come here, sit beside me" Sucrose does not move. "Wh-what do you want from me?" She asks, her words edged with nervousness. There is a part of her that desperately wants to rush over to you as any good little servant would. But something seems to hold her back, as though a leash were around her neck.
Her eyes dart back and forth quickly. She is clearly trying to think of an excuse to not cross the room.
"It's for research" you try to lurr her in, and it seems to work. Slowly, ever so slowly, Sucrose stands up. And then, like a puppet on strings, she starts to walk towards you. Her stride is purposeful, and his gaze is fixed ahead. Despite her face— unsure but determined — you can see her fingers trembling ever-so-slightly.
The closer she gets to you, the more she appears to be losing self-control over herself.
"Such a good girl you are" she's never been called a 'good girl' before. Yes, Albedo did praise her for her researches, but never once did his praise put her into a state of dizziness as yours. But you can tell that being praised this way has left her feeling elated and surprised.
"H-huh?" She turns her head to look up at you, and as soon as she looks into your eyes, she's frozen. In a moment, all of her previous questions are gone. The only thing she knows now is how to look up at you and be loyal to you. She waits patiently for your next command, her body tense yet eager to please.
Sucroses mouth goes agape and her body trembles, as though she's overwhelmed with every word you speak. Being called "your good girl" and being praised in this way, it's almost too much for her to comprehend. Her breath catches in her throat and she looks away, seemingly embarrassed.
"I-i hope my reaction was pleasing for your...research..."

Oh! You've Heard This Story?
Summary: Once again, your end has begun, and the story starts anew. Yet, she remembers this story; one told over and over again.

Blood of gold stained the podium as the blade of the Archon of Inazuma sliced your neck. Leaving the crowds that once cheered for your end turned to fear and shallow worries of regret.
You've seen this before. As your head descended from your body, your consciousness still lingered, even for only a moment. The screams of agony laced with regret and sorrow; the cries of the archons as they saw the precious blood that was wasted on the floor.
That is how it always ended.
Your mind now eases as your death finally comes, then onto the next show.
You open your eyes once more to the lush green grass tickled your ears, and the trees swayed its leaves on your rags; the warm rays that lay on your skin. A scene all too familiar.
You have given up on trying to survive on this game of cat and mouse; simply letting it all roll like a ball, because out of all the countless times you tried to escape before were all futile, even giving up showed the same ending.
There is no end to this scripted play.
Fate is like a chord. No matter how you pull to change it, it will always return to its original form.
You pick yourself up, dust off a few leaves stuck on your rags and walked up to a nearby tree bearing some apples. You reach out for one close yet ripe.
"Maybe Amber noticed me already and might shoot my arm." You blurted out as the apple twisted and fell on your face. "Ah! It's already loose." you mumbled with your brow raised before picking up the apple from the ground; you dusted off the dirt then took a bite. "Doesn't matter, you missed." You uttered as you look to the side where the brunette wearing red hid from afar; her bow lowered from when it first had you a target.
Her face painted with worry and confusion, she focuses her bow to you once more, ready for your retaliation. Yet, you walk back to the spot where you first woke up; legs crossed with your bum on the ground as you continued to eat the apple.
"What?" The brunette mumbles with her brows furrowed, confused why you just say down defenceless while chewing on your apple till you ate it all and the core was left. "Could it be a trick? Are they just luring me in?" Thoughts flooded her head thinking about what you could be planning if you already know where she was.
After laying the core of the apple you just ate on the ground, you look back at where the brunette was hiding. "Even if you are here to catch the imposter, there is still etiquette for how knights capture fiends." You spoke with a sigh and a small smile, waiting for her to shoot her bow, or throw Baron Bunny to your face.
An arrow of fire flew past you and hit the tree right behind you, barely grazing your hair. Amber then emerges from the bushes while her bow was still pointed at you "You have the right to remain silent. Your actions of impersonating the divine deity..." She continues to mouth out paragraphs you've heard countless times before, still smiling without a care in the world.
In a nation distant to the airy breezes of Mondstat, in the land hidden in the forests where rain comes and goes, the land where knowledge is weighed more than mora, Sumeru.
Lying inside the Sanctuary of Surasthana where the Archon resides, she sprung up with a cold sweat, as if she just had a nightmare. Her gasps were heavy and her hands shaking; her dream was as vivid as if it were real, like the times she would occasionally possess the receptionist of the Adventurers Guild, however, unlike those dreams, it was not coveted by the mind of a human nor god. The scene was too real to be revered as a dream.
"Oh... Very well,I'll see you all. Soon."
Were the last words of the imposter before their head departed from their body. "What did they mean? Will it happen again? I saw their memories; it happened to them over and over again. Like a samsara, after reaching an end it'll go back to the beginning. How long have they been doing this? Do they have a goal?" Questions drowned out all their senses before a loud arrogant voice broke her focus.
A short man wearing blue accents and a large hat was snapping his fingers in front of the archon's face with an annoyed look. "Hey! I've been calling you for ages; you said you wanted me to do something." His tone filled with salt and bitterness as he pulled his arms back together crossed.
Lesser Lord Kusanali, the dendro Archon, one who was calm and collected was in a cold sweat, unable to comprehend what reality she had just seen. If it were to happen in this world as well, would it too crumble and wither away.
"H- hat guy..." The dendro Archon's voice trembled when she muttered her words. Looking towards Hat Guy with her eyes widened and trembling "What happened these past few days? There was the imposter a- and..." Her voice trails off as she tries to word out what happened, but her tongue falters to convey what was on her mind.
"The imposter? That news just landed in the Akademia an hour ago. I guess that's what you can expect of a god who can read minds." He mumbles while the Archon gathers her thoughts.
"What? But the imposter was just about to be executed. Everyone was there and... the imposter was... calm... they- they said something then… then…” her eyes wonder off around the room remembering the words of the imposter.
“... Hat guy. Take me to Mondstat; I need to talk to the imposter.” Her eyes were then set on the short man; eyes painted with determination and fear, set on speaking with the one branded as an imposter, yet whose last is shrouded in a thick fog of uncertainty.
The man that looked at the Dendro god puzzled and perplexed. “What?! Are you- just when you hear about an imposter; you wanna go meet them?!! Don't you know how dangerous that thing could be?” His aloof and sour tone shifted to a raised and concerned voice after hearing the Archon's desire to met with the imposter.
Kusanali sighs with her eyes faltering, wondering if it just a ruse after all. She ponders for some time, recollecting and organising the memories she had of the imposter. “The execution just happened with the Electro Archon beheading the the imposter, but before that, the imposter allowed me to look through their memories, then…” her memory was then blank.
“Can they dream?” Hat Guy's voice cut her focus. “If you really wanna talk to them, you can go in their dream and just talk to them there.”
The idea lit up the Lesser Lord's face “Yes. Their dreams. They looked young, they probably still have dreams, like escaping… or… wait… can they dream?” Her voice questioned the mentality and consciousness of the imposter.

SAGAU,, the creator's bride/groom
a rumor that the almighty creator of teyvat is in the process of choosing a spouse spreads like wildfire. and all their acolytes start sucking up to them like insane. mondstadt edition! part 2 / liyue version here.
reader's gender is not specified, as with most of my works. requests and imagines in my ask box are appreciated, but will take a while. :D
warnings: none
Tumblr media
no one knows where it originated from. where the string of whispers began and who lit the match that set a fire throughout the whole of teyvat. all they knew was that there was no information to deny the rumors and therefore, it was more likely the truth. and it would stay the truth to all the citizens roaming genshin's world until proven otherwise.
in the streets of mondstadt, the city of freedom, business seemed busier than usual. and the usually happy-go-lucky people acted with more haste in their movements, jumping from one block to another to discuss the recent rumors regarding their all-creator.
venti seemed to phase out significantly more than he usually does. it frustrated those who listened whenever he stopped in the middle of a song to seemingly stare down at his hands, lost in another world. soon enough, many of angel share's patrons left disgruntled, mumbling about how unsatisfactory the bard's performance had been that night. it wasn't that venti didn't hear their harsh words, he just didn't seem to care considering the heavier importance of what he had been phasing out for. he knew how easy it was for the citizens of mondstadt to believe and spread baseless rumors, but he couldn't help but plan out the many ways he could win your favor and hand in marriage. the idea had him giddy on his seat, ever so prideful in his abilities. he imagined in his head, how heavenly you would look, smothering him in your affection, calling the anemo archon your husband, telling him that you, the greatest being in the existence of teyvat, loved him and him only.
now you'd think diluc would be bothered by the amount of customers leaving the tavern, but he was just as equally lost in thought as the alleged "tone-deaf bard." unlike venti though, his lack of mindfulness didn't hinder him from performing his job just as well as others expected from him. but, if you observed the red-head closely, even for just a second, you'd see how his eyes gazed at nothing in particular and how his cheeks would turn the same shade of red as his hair ever so often. diluc knew he would be a good spouse to you. he's been worshipping you for about the entirety of his life and he wouldn't mind, in fact, he'd be ecstatic to worship you for a dozen more liftetimes. he'd serve you so well, catering to your every need. he was foreign to affection at this point, yes, but he'd let you do anything to him as long as it made you happy. it made his face heat up, just thinking about the way you'd kiss his cheek, praising him for how good he is to you.
kaeya, ever so sly and observant, saw the way his brother's eyes were glazed over with a look of longing. he didn't need to ask why (not like diluc would tell him anyway), it was the only interesting topic anyone talked about at that point. the creator of teyvat, an ancient god that many worshipped and adored, has been rumored to be looking for a spouse amongst their many, many followers. now, kaeya wasn't one to mindlessly follow new trends or indulge in himself too much, but.. he couldn't deny the sickeningly sweet feeling he got whenever he thought about you choosing him. of course, he never cared about godly titles. lord knows how much he has suffered because of the gods themselves. but he's met you before, spoke to you with his own mouth and listened to you reply with his own ears. slowly but surely, he fell in love with you and your otherworldly presence, growing fond of the quirky habits that you picked up from this so called "earth." he thought about how lonely it must've been for you to be regarded so highly and put on a pedestal, so he let you indulge in the freedom of being treated like a normal person when you were around him. he was hoping that maybe that was enough to get you to choose him.
albedo would only be able to hear of the news the next morning, the morning he decided to descend down to the city of mondstadt, there solely to gather a new batch of supplies. he didn't mean to eavesdrop, but gosh, do the ladies in the marketplace speak loudly. he was a bit shocked by the news, never predicting something like this would come. neither did he expect to be so.. attached to your presence. it was strange, but he wanted to be around you at all times. at first he was convinced it was out of curiosity and respect, but the way he felt ever so warm around you for no particular reason told him otherwise. he wanted to be around you at all times, to be able to protect, to indulge in you. but alas, many other people needed you. he wondered, if you two were to get married, would you be by his side all the time? he considered the possibility, allowing himself to daydream briefly, before calculating a plan in his head.
jean would hear of the news in her office, unable to quite process the.. baffling information. she felt scandalous, viewing a primordial being in that light. she should feel shameful, she told herself. she was but a simple mortal, a simple acting grandmaster, in a simple city. of course you wouldn't consider her a candidate in marriage. she was quite lucky to even be acknowledged by you in the first place. but, but some part of her wanted to hope, and the moment she did, she regretted it because her heartbeat burst into stellar rates before two chaotic forces intruded the peace of her quarters. eula and amber would be straight-out demanding answers from jean, eager to know and expressing so in completely different ways. eula would look quite agitated, frustrated even, the anticipation of knowing ate her up from the inside out. amber would be much more bouncy, nervous about the rumors she had heard from other knights. jean would of course tell them they were just rumors, but the two were already making plans to win you over.
Tumblr media
"your grace! i didn't expect to see you around here, fancy yourself an apple?" venti, ever so energetic, asked from above you, only finding it efficient to fly down the statue of himself once you opened your mouth.
"ah, no, i'm fine. i just need some air is all." you shook your head, looking away from venti to stare at the giant oak tree of windrise. you didn't know what to expect from the bard. would he be as bad as the other archons?
"oh? i'm pretty sure there's plenty of air in liyue and inazuma, your grace. not unless i'm mistaken."
you chuckled at his statement, cringing at how rude and sarcastic it sounded. "well, yes, but the people there have been a lot more.. suffocating than usual."
venti wondered if it had anything to do with the current marriage rumors running around, but he dared not comment, knowing that if he did, it would only make you feel worse.
the next few days in mondstadt were quite strange, stranger than usual. you were glad the people there gave you more space than you got in the other nations, expected from the nation of freedom. but, you couldn't help but notice how fidgety everyone has been acting.
the way noelle, the diligent and hardworking maid, who was usually so kind and casual to you, turned beet red whenever you were in close proximity. "y- your grace! do you need assistance with anything? anything at all? o-oh no, i'm fine."
the way diluc, who would usually just politely look at you in the background, approached you with more luxurious gifts and proposals of.. friendly dates. "i was hoping you'd enjoy your stay in mondstadt, your grace. but even more so, i was hoping you'd enjoy my presence above everything else like i enjoy yours."
the way kaeya, who usually blatantly teased you, acted more gentlemanly around you. kissing the top of your hand, gracing you with compliments that were much sweeter and more genuine than what you'd usually get from the cavalry captain, the way he'd actively seek out your presence and ask you out for lunch. "has anyone ever told you that you're absolutely breathtaking, [name]?"
the way jean, who was usually so confident and composed, looked nervous whenever you greeted her a simple 'good morning' or 'good evening.' sometimes she even stuttered over her words, something that shocked you and everyone else who was lucky enough to witness it. "yes, you do look gorgeous tonight- i mean, the sky looks- the night sky looks gorgeous tonight! argh, i sincerely apologize for my inappropriate behavior, your grace."
the way amber, who was usually so chill, stumbled upon her steps, looking burnt amd beaten, approached you with a gift in hand. unlike diluc, her gifts weren't bought, they seemed to have been hunted down by amber herself which was entirely impressive and thoughtful of her. "n- no need to thank me, your grace. just wanted to give you something worth carrying around as always!"
the way aether (and paimon, by extension) followed you around even more so than they usually do. not that you minded, you liked it, in fact. but it was a bit unusual, considering how aether usually had many commissions to do. "last night, aether told paimon that he wanted to mmphf-"
the way albedo had started inviting you to his base in wolvendom more often or went down to the city to seemingly just hang out with you. you found him quite interesting, so the time you two spent had been a highlight in your time in mondstadt. especially the moment when, "your grace, i heard that you've been looking for a spouse amongst your acolytes. i was wondering if.. you ever considered me?"
you felt your face heat up. ah, so that's what this was all about.

Freedom or Anarchy? Part 2 of 2
Cw: cringe, swears, innuendos. Mondstadt arc has concluded. Next chapter will hopefully be out by Monday. (Expect Monday or Tuesday)
‘Where am I?’
‘What happened to me?’
‘I wanna go home!’
“Time to get up.” You hear someone call. The voice sounds familiar, deep and most likely male (you don’t want to assume).
You open your eyes and see blue. You’re still groggy from Albedo’s tea so you can’t really stand. Someone picks you up, supporting you under your legs and you back.
‘Hang on, if this is Mondstadt… the only man with blue here is.’ “Kae…ya?” You say groggily.
“She speaks… or are you a he? Hard to tell.” He sets you down on a couch in an office.
“This is the terrorist Albedo gave us?” Lisa asks. You can’t quite move but you aren’t as tired as before.
“We’ll have to tie… him? Her? …Ah up! Tie up the terrorist.” Jean says.
“Them… I’m gender fluid. I go by them. Sometimes I’m a he, sometimes I’m a she. But my pronouns are always them.”
“Well, at least we’re getting answers.” Lisa giggles.
You say as Kaeya binds your wrists and ankles with rope. You lean forward onto him and whisper to only him. “Tighter, daddy~”
“Sky, where did you say that Light and Paimon ran off to?” Kaeya asks, embarrassed and blushing.
“We’ve met Barbatos, they went off to find him.” Aether says. That’s right, the twins didn’t tell anybody their real names.
“We’re back! And we’ve brought a friend!” Paimon cheers.
“Obviously this goes without saying but no one can mention this man’s true identity, okay.” Jean states with a harsh tone that you’ve never heard from her before. Everyone nods, except for you.
Venti walks towards you and you look at him. “Are you the one Celestia fears?”
“I have no idea what that means.”
“The descender, the honored one, the adored one. Do any of these names ring a bell?”
“No?”
“Do not lie to me! Albedo said-”
“Why the F you lyin’~ why you always lyin’~”
“…”
“Sorry I have a tendency to reference memes and vines. I’m Gen Z, it’s a part of who we are. I’m kidding, I think that’s just me.”
“So the Adored One has a name, Jen.”
“No that’s-”
“And these “Me-ms” and “vines” must be your sacred texts! You’re a nature spirit aren’t you!”
“No! And for the record I don’t think you are a god!”
“Wow, the honored one looks down upon me.”
“Boys, Girls, and squirrels, listen up! Because I’ll only say this once. I’m not from this world. I want to go home. The world I come from none of you are real.”
“Honored one, saying “Boys, Girls, and squirrels” doesn’t help your claim that you aren’t a nature spirit.”
“Oh for Shucks sake. Actually can I swear in here? I don’t think so. Hell! Bullshit! Kaeya’s tight Ass! Lisa’s big boobies! Mmhmm boobies~” you start to laugh maniacally. “I need to be put in a mental hospital.”
“Oh for the love of-” Lumine cuts herself off and goes up to you then shakes your. “Pull yourself together long enough for us to get answers.”
“Right, right. I’m just a college kid who majored in computer science and engineering. The world I come from you all are a game and I hacked into your code which brought me here. That “Boys, Girls, and squirrels” comment comes from a YouTuber I watch semi frequently.”
(A/n: Danny Motta is his name. He’s pretty funny. Go check him out)
“How’d you heal Stormterror then.” Aether asked.
“The sustainer of heavenly principles gave me her powers.”
“So… none of us are real?” Amber asks.
“Well, I don’t know how I’d be here if you guys weren’t real but to me you’re just a game. Any of you can be killed and revived at the Statue of the Seven.”
“I suppose that does poke holes in my credibility as an archon.” Venti twiddles his thumbs.
“Can I please leave now? I can take Dvalin with me and we can just leave.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea. If Stormterror is still enraged we can’t let him destroy other nations. It could spark an all out war.” Jean says.
“What if we let them stay at that broken down building?” Aether suggests.
“I still think that we should keep Jen here just in case Stormterror gets any more ideas about attacking Mondstadt.”
“So we use Jen as a bargaining chip?” Lumine chimes in.
“Exactly.”
“Okay if you guys are going to call me Jen can you at least make it Gen with a G? I want to be different.”
“But Jean! Isn’t that basically asking Stormterror for a fight?”
“Amber’s right Jean. If we’re going to keep them here we’ll need a plan to tame Stormterror.” Lisa says.
“I’ll tame him.” Venti says assuredly. “We just have to keep them here long enough for me to calm him down.”
“BARBATOS!” Dvalin calls from outside. “GIVE ME BACK WHATS MINE!”
“Everyone! To your stations! Protect the city at all costs!” Jean shouts and everyone rushes from the room.
“Shit! I have to get out of here!”
“Master Jean! I’m scared!” Klee runs into the office.
“Klee! Perfect timing, I’m your brother’s friend.”
“Your big brother Albedo’s friend? Why are you tied up?”
“It’s a long story. Right now I need you to untie me so I can save everyone.”
“You can do that? I don’t know, usually only bad people are tied up.”
“No no! Klee it’s more complicated. You want to save Albedo and Jean and Kaeya, Lisa, Amber, Razor and everyone else right? Then you have to untie me so I can make Stormterror go away.”
“How do I know that you aren’t lying?”
‘If gold knows me. Chances are Alice will too.’ “Your mom knows me. I’m the adored one. You can ask her about me.”
“Mom knows you?”
“Yeah, and you know about Albedos secret lab in the mountains right? I’ve been there. He told me about how much he cared about you.”
“You’ve gone there?! You really do know Albedo. Okay!” She comes over and unties you.
“Thanks.” You go over to the window, open it up and shout. “Dvalin!” He comes rushing to you at your cry and you jump out the window and grab onto his tail.
He flies towards the woods and you land in a stone arena. “Andrius! I need a favor.”
“What could the East Wind possibly want from me?”
“Protect the Adored one at all costs.
“How can this puny human be the Adored one?”
As the two bicker you quietly sneak away. As you climb out of the arena you stop when you see black boots and look up.
“Who are you.” Diluc looks down at you.
“I am iron man.”
“Iron man?” Dvalin roses as he and Andrius start to brawl.
“Can you get me out of here?”
“Are you the one rumored to have healed Stormterror?”
“Maybe.”
“Come on.” He grabs your arm and hoists you up. He then picks you up and throws you over his shoulder and starts to run.
“Hey! Am I just a sack of potatoes to you?”
“Quiet down or they’ll hear us.” He runs and runs until you two get to a water bank. “Follow this past west and you’ll be in Liyue.” He tells you as he sets you down.
“Oh wow. My own dark knight. How romantic. Well for saving the fair ward of the dragon you get a kiss, as a reward.”
“No thank you.” He grimaces at you.
“Oh come on! I was promised debauchery! You’re no fun.”
“Just leave.”
“Thanks for saving me! I’m coming back for that kiss though!” You say as you run off.
‘Hot dragon archon here I come! Please be like a lizard and have two co-‘

Day 6 of my Yandere Writetober, tomorrows word is Drip, let me know if you have wishes
Tumblr media
“Nowhere left to run,” a voice called out to you as you came to a stop at what you recognized as Starsnatch Cliff, your back turned to the legion of soldiers led by the acting grand master Jean. You had been running for hours now, trying to get away from unavoidable doom. If it wasn’t Jean and her men who killed you, it would be the archon that was secretly joining the hunt, proven by the moving traces of green you saw every time you turnt and the wind that seemingly was pushing against you wherever you ran.
This was really how you’ll die, isn’t it? After you had woken up in a game you had casually enjoyed playing and figured out that you had somehow managed to look exactly like the grand deity that the game in your world conveniently forgot to mention, you had tried everything to wake up, thinking it was a dream. It wasn’t though - it was more of a nightmare.
But maybe that was better, maybe once you died in this world, you’d come back to your reality like nothing ever happened, and if not - well, at least you wouldn’t be hunted anymore so that was all you wanted at this point.
You felt the presence of the armed men and women out for your head approaching and so you turned around, the white robe you had woken up in, snapping around you in the worsening gusts of wind. They looked so differently when you had them right in front of you, when they were made out of flesh and blood and not just out of ones and zeros. Jean was even more beautiful than in the game and Amber, Lisa and Kaeya all were so stunning that you could have spent hours just gazing at them, just enjoying how pretty they were. Not that you’d ever get that chance, because you’d be slaughtered by them in a matter of seconds.
Deciding that it was impossible for you to win a fight, you just closed your eyes and held out your arms by your sides, ready to receive the killing blow. You tried to count the seconds to calm your racing heart, you felt like you could hear someone raise their blade, but there was no blow. No searing pain, no death.
Instead, you felt heat in front of you, the air turned hotter than you thought possible and for a second you believed that Amber had decided to end your life Witch-trial style by burning you, but then the heat got farther away from you and moved towards the blood thirsty crowd. Surprised, you tried to look at what was happening, but the only thing you saw before you were suddenly pushed backwards right off of the end of the cliff was what seemed to be a bird made of fire.
And then you were falling. Falling was the first sensation you felt. Then you felt someone holding you, their grip on you tight enough to hurt in any other situation. Before you could properly process that though, the sensation of falling turnt into the sensation of gliding and everything that had happened caught up to you, making you feel very dizzy. Deciding that it didn’t matter anymore anyways, you leaned your head against the stranger’s chest and before you passed out, you could have sworn you heard a deep voice mutter ‘I’ve got you now, my grace’.
When you awoke, you were comfortable and warm, cozy actually. For a few seconds you believed that you were back at home, lying in your bed, waking up from a very bad dream. That hope shattered once you opened your eyes to see a beautifully painted, renaissance-like ceiling. You swung your feet out of the bed and found you were still wearing the white robe you had woken up in, that was something at least, but the thing that surprised you more was how your feet seemed to be tinted gold, like you had walked through ankle deep gold powder, when you tried to wipe it off you found that it seemed to be completely on your skin… if you hadn’t known better you would have thought the gold was your skin.
It was only as you tried to wipe the gold on your feet away that you noticed that your hands, palm, fingers, up to your wrists, were much the same. What was happening?
You jumped out of the bed and looked around for a mirror, luckily finding a full-body one in the corner of the room. As you came to a stop in front of it, you were even more shocked. Not only the skin on your outer extremities was golden, but your hair and your eyes had become a shining gold as well. That was definitely new.
As you mustered yourself in the mirror, the room's door opened and someone stepped in. The first thing you noticed was the red head of hair, then the clothes that you had loved to look at in the game. You turned around and found yourself confirmed. No doubt, behind you was Diluc, the dark knight hero. Was he out to kill you as well? Before you had the chance to cower in fear, the man who was even more intimidating in real life, towering over you when he was standing, was kneeling at your feet, his head practically touching the floor in what seemed to be worship.
“My grace, I welcome you to this world.”
“W-What?” You stumbled over the single word as you stepped back some more, still unsure of the intention of the man.
“Be not afraid, I don’t want to hurt you, I would never hurt you, your majesty. My brethren… they were foolish, they were blinded by the false god, your markings had not yet developed with you being freshly brought into this world. Please have mercy with them once you are ready to bring judgment upon the sinners of this world-“ Diluc gave a whole speech that seemed to be rehearsed with how nervous he seemed, but something about what he said had you questioning him.
“How do you know? That I was brought here? Everyone else seemed to think I belong here,” you asked and Diluc finally looked up at you, seemingly caught by how his eyes widened,
“Well, your grace, I-I know, because, well- The imposter who is sitting on your throne, I caught them applying golden powder on their skin, I always had my doubts, they didn’t give me the feeling I have whenever I was visited with you, the same feeling I have now, but doubting the great god is a mortal sin. I knew I needed proof first, so I found an ancient tome and it had a ritual to summon the great god, for a small price I was able to have you brought here- I knew I had to, I never knew that the knights would act like that, they would be so blinded.”
You looked at him mouth agape.
“You brought me here? It’s your fault I was almost killed?”
“It isn’t like that, your grace, I swear it wasn’t supposed to happen like this,” Diluc begged, but you just shook your head.
“This-“ you motioned around you, at him, at you, at the golden skin, “-This is crazy. I’m leaving and stop calling my grace.”
Diluc tried to protest, but you were already walking out of the room, rushing down the stairs, happy that you had some idea about the layout of the winery thanks to the game. There were some of the maids working and as soon as they saw you and your golden appearance they were on their knees in devotion, but you ignored them. Arriving at the main door, you ripped it open… and were stopped in your tracks,
Where you had expected to see the winery’s grape vines was just dead land. No plants, no grass, not even an elemental slime graced what had been a beautiful piece of nature in the game.
You heard steps quickly approaching and stopping besides you and you knew it was Diluc.
“What happened?” You whispered out in confusion and a little bit of unfounded fear.
“That was the price, bringing such an extraordinary being as yourself into our undeserving world needed an exchange,” Diluc said nonchalantly, as if it was self explanatory, as if it was no bother at all.
“But the winery, the bar?”
“Oh well, it will take a while for the crops to recover but that just means I will have more time to bask in your presence, oh your grace, how amazing it is to finally have you by my side, these other sinners don’t deserve you,” Diluc’s voice sounded weirdly lovesick and you suddenly found yourself engulfed in his arms, pulling your still shocked form into him.
“I know I’m not worthy of holding your form, but I just can't help myself, your presence… it’s intoxicating to me.”
As he held you to him and pulled you back into the house, you suddenly had the horrible feeling that maybe getting killed on top of that cliff would have been the better outcome

GENSHIN SAGAU IMPOSTOR
Part 2 of my SAGAU story
Warnings: Flashbacks?
Gender neutral reader
Tumblr media
‘I’m back’ A feeling of pure terror fills me as I realize where I am. It was foolish to think I could escape I take a deep breath, noticing my breathing was speeding up. There’s no use in panicking, I need to get to safety or atleast somewhere where I’m less visible.
‘Oh yeah I’m still sitting in the sand’I think before standing up and walking towards the small cliff the traveler climbed at the beginning of the game, After getting up I walk further towards the statue of the seven. I come to a stop arriving at the larger cliff, Wow it’s even more beautiful in person, I take a deep breath as I remember the last time I saw this amazing sight.. I snap back to reality as I feel a tear glide down my cheek. I was so excited and happy, unaware of what horrors awaited me.
I’d almost forgotten.. they hate me, atleast Jean and Amber do that much was was clear from our last encounter I think it’s wise to assume the rest of teyvat feels the same. I walk along the path avoiding the island that holds the statue, not wanting to get my clothes soaked. After a bit of walking I see mondstadt, I’d better avoid going there again I think quickly waking past the city of freedom.
Walking in the opposite direction I spot the abandoned fire where there would usually be an adventurer to teach traveler to cook. I look inside the barrel left behind, then inside is an apple and a sunsettia.
I quickly grab both before walking further, eventually I arrive at windrise. Breathing heavily I decide it might be wise to take a break before continuing my journey to whoever knows where. But as I step closer to the statue I freeze in shock.. There right before the statue stands or better yet kneels Jean!

letter to amber,
dear amber, im so sorry for replacing you with xiangling i promise to build u up properly i just dont have the right artifacts
Ah yes, those who loved the starting characters but ended up replacing them. Also, you didn't say what AU so I ended up going with my own Guide AU.
So please enjoy
LETTERS TO YOUR GRACE
To, Your Grace.
Hello Your Grace, I received your previous letter yesterday and I just wanted to insist you have nothing to apologize for! When you were so far away, you were limited to only those who could serve you best in those days rather than the ones you care for the most!
You're nothing if not kind and apologizing for something so trivial should be far below you!
Despite you leaving with your main team, you've still been so incredibly kind allowing me to serve you and you've even changed my life for the better, every gift you've given me has made me better than ever before, there's no way I can thank you for this.
But I can try, you mentioned you wanted new 'artifacts' I believed you called them? Where do I find those? You've given me so much, the least I can do is find any item you could even think of wishing for.
I promise that you'll never have to work to spoil me again! Please My Guide, allow me to return the favor, you'll never need to choose someone else over me, ever again.
From, Outrider Amber, a soon to be member of your main team.

Divine conspiracies

Hurried steps echoed against the pavement, sounding hollow against the backdrop of an empty city and raging winds. The gusts grazed against anyone daring to be out still - piercing one's skin harshly and leaving behind a trail of chills.
The captain was careful with his movements, eyeing his surroundings with a predatory gaze. As a cavalry captain of high ranking, he had many nosy busybodies to worry about when it came to his actions.
He slowly made his way up the grandiose staircase leading up to the looming gothic church, his form hidden by the jagged shadows the brief glimpses of the moonlight left behind. He moved with light steps, creeping like a cat up to a mouse, towards a side door. There was no need to alert the other members of the church, after all, when he was only seeking out one in particular.
His gloved fingers reached for the small metallic knocker, and tapped it against the door in a rapid succession of threes. He paused, waiting on bated breath for an answer.
He could hear light shuffling behind the door - which was opened by a pale woman cloaked in black darker than the night sky itself.
"Captain Kaeya," she spoke in a frosty tone, glancing his form over with shielded curiosity. She leaned her hip against the worn frame of the door, her vision casting a dim glow into the darkened room behind her.
"What brings you here?"
"I have something to show you. Something important."
"Oh?" she leaned closer. "Care to give me any details?"
He flashed a lazy smirk her way.
"No can do. Meet me at Dawn winery in an hour."
She raised a brow, before casting a glance into the darkness behind her.
"Very well. I'll be there, captain."
Kaeya nodded. "Good. I'll be expecting you."
With a swish of his cape, he turned on his heel, stalking off into the night once more.
Eula awoke to the sound of soft clanks against the marbled floor of the knights of Favonius. She was wide awake in moments, her vision casting a dim cold light on her quarters. With a muffled rustle of her covers being drawn aside, she rose to her feet, reaching for the weapon propped up by her bed. She was light on her bare feet as she approached the door, ever vigilant as she heard the stifled footsteps nearing her door.
The air around her was frigid - something she had grown used to, comfortable with, even. She breathed in quietly, exhaling out oh her nose. Her breath fogged up in a faint cloud that dissipated quickly.
The footsteps stopped in front of her door.
Ah. So someone was coming for her.
She bristled.
Would it be another one of those vengeful people who wished harm upon her due to her family?
It wasn't entirely unlikely.
Before she could ponder too much on it, however, there was a faint series of knocks on the wooden surface.
Her brows furrowed.
An attacker wouldn't knock, surely?
Still clad in her frilly nightgown, she slowly pushed the door open, keeping her right hand still clutched around her weapon's hilt, concealed by the door.
In front of her, stood Kaeya Alberich. The cavalry captain of Mondstadt.
She felt her brows pull into a harsh scowl.
Why was a fellow captain sneaking around at night?
"Kaeya?" she asked, her tone icy as she looked him up and down, taking in the sight of his weapon on his belt.
"I have a favor to ask of you," he spoke simply, casting her a signature smirk.
One Eula wanted to punch off his face.
"At this hour? Couldn't this wait?" she asked, growing more frustrated by the moment.
First, he interrupted her sleep. And now he was trying to pull some silly prank on her by the looks of it.
"No," Kaeya responded, his tone dropping the playful edge it had teetered on. Suddenly, his face was stony - gaze icy as the vision he carried and determined.
"It's very important. And crucial that you tell no one about this."
"Why?" she asked, still feeling standoffish. The weapon in her hand felt heavy.
"Because it is a matter of life or death. For me and- other parties."
Eula sighed, her shoulders dropping.
"Fine."
"Thank you. Please meet me at Dawn winery in about an hour," he instructed, rising his head up high.
Eula nodded.
"Alright. But you will pay for waking me up, sooner or later."
Kaeya's stifled chuckle made the corners of her own lips twitch upwards.
You were barely awake, sat by the fireplace Diluc had lit up for your comfort - a soft chill having seeping into your frame from running out in just sleepwear earlier. You pulled the blanket he'd graciously offered you closer, inhaling the scent of cuihua wood and ripe grapes clinging to it. It felt comforting. Almost like home.
"Your grace, would you like me to fetch you some tea?" Diluc asked, smiling at you faintly from the armchair he'd been planted in, watching over you.
"There's no need - I'm plenty warm now. Thank you, though."
He nodded, not taking his eyes off you.
Finally - there was a series of knocks on the heavyset doors of the manor - a pattern you had agreed on with Kaeya.
You perked up, peeking over the sofa you'd taken a seat in and trying to see out into the darkness of the night.
Diluc was quick to get on his feet.
"I'll get it," he reassured you, before briskly walking towards the door.
You heard the wooden doors creak open, and heard a hushed exchange of words, before multiple pairs of feet echoed across the wooden floor.
"Now, remember when I told you to keep it all hushed? I meant it," Kaeya spoke, seemingly leading the way.
You gulped.
Who would you be coming face to face with?
You watched as Kaeya entered the room, your breath caught in your throat.
Rosaria was quick to follow him, Eula next. Then, Amber. Then - a pop of color in the form of Klee, who was succeeded by Albedo.
Rosaria and Eula appeared taken aback - the rest having already met you.
You awkwardly waved, a nervous smile breaking out on your face.
"Hi," you spoke softly, allowing the blanket to fall away from your form as you stood to your feet.
"You're..." Rosaria began. Eula rushed to finish off her half-baked statement:
"The imposter. But...you're...not an imposter, are you?"
You shrugged nervously.
"I guess not."
A heavy silence hung above the room, suffocating and thick like smoke.
"They're great! Plants and animals love them! And snow melts on Dragonspine for them!" Klee exclaimed, rushing to your side and looping her arms around your frame. You smiled down at her, patting her head.
"It's true. I've seen it too," Amber admitted, sheepish. Eula cast her a betrayed glance - one which had Amber making apologetic eyes at her.
"I...see. So this is why it had to be kept under wraps? Because of...Mondstadt's and other nations' actions towards them?" Rosaria piped up, her voice icy as she glanced at Kaeya. Her expression had not shifted - her pokerface much stronger than you could have imagined.
The cavalry captain nodded.
"Exactly. I figured you all would be willing to go along with our plans. Celestia knows how stubborn the rest of the knights of Favonius were regarding this matter."
There was a grim silence once more - each person in the room remembering the day you'd been captured - the day you'd been sentenced to death as some lowly criminal for no real wrongdoing.
"It's no wonder the winds have been that harsh. And that all wildlife seems to flee hunters - and that crops have been dying. Teyvat's expressing it's anger towards us," Eula spoke after a while, glancing outside.
"It's perfectly calm here, though."
You smiled awkwardly.
"Sorry about that - I haven't made it do that on purpose..."
She shook her head, stepping closer, her heels clacking against the polished floors. She bowed her head, bringing her hand to her chest.
"You have nothing to apologize for. It's divine retribution. Deserved, at that."
You were taken aback by the harshness of her tone - feeling chills creep over you as she neared your presence.
"I, Captain Eula Lawrence, Spindrift Knight, Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company, pledge my allegiance to you," she spoke, lowering herself to one knee.
Your lips parted in surprise - not expecting such grandiose display of loyalty from someone you'd never met before.
Amber grinned and rushed to Eula's side, taking in a similar position.
"I, outrider Amber, pledge my allegiance too, your grace," she chirped, a wide smile on her lips.
Your mouth formed a nervous smile, your gaze flickering towards Diluc and Kaeya.
"I, Rosaria, pledge my allegiance."
"I, Albedo, Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius, pledge my allegiance to you, creator."
"I, Kaeya, cavalry captain of the Knight of Favonius, pledge my allegiance."
"I, Diluc Ragnvindr, pledge my allegiance."
You felt tears brimming in your eyes at the sight. Your throat tightening as you tried to fight the tears.
Klee finally released you from her hold, animatedly bringing a fist to her chest.
"I, Spark Knight Klee of the Knights of Favonius..." she glanced around nervously, her cheeks pink as she tried to recall the words the others had used, "Pledge...myself to you!"
Finally, the dam broke - tears streaming down your face as sparks of joy lit up within your chest - blooming into colorful fireworks of adoration.
"I...you guys....thank you. It means a lot..." you managed to stutter out the words, fumbling as you uttered them. You crouched and pulled Klee into a hug, laughing through the tears.
"Your grace! Are you alright?" Diluc asked, rising to his feet.
You swallowed, nodding your head.
"Yeah...it's all just...overwhelming," you laughed. "They're happy tears, promise," you added, wiping at your watering eyes in vain.
Diluc's concern melted away, his lips forming a soft smile.
Slowly, the others, too, rose to their feet once more. You patted Klee's head and did the same, still wiping at your eyes fruitlessly.
Eula reached into her pocket and pulled out a lovely white handkerchief, one with frilled edges, and her initials embroidered in a corner with shimmery blue thread. She handed it over gracefully, bowing slightly.
"Thank you, Eula," you spoke through tears and accepted it, dabbing at the corners of your eyes. Finally, the floodgates were slowly sealed up, the pouring tears coming to a slow, dribbling end.
You sniffled, trying to blink away the last of the tears.
Kaeya placed a cold, yet comforting hand on your shoulder. You felt the coolness seep into you, soothing your nerves in a gentle caress.
You shot him a weary smile. He simply nodded.
"So, what's the plan, your grace," Rosaria asked, her tight lips forming the faintest hint of a teasing smile. You found yourself relaxing somewhat at that - that she felt comfortable enough with you to teasingly address you with such formalities.
"Well..." you bit your lip, your gaze gliding across everyone in the room.
"I say we reveal your true identity. Publically," Kaeya began, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms. Diluc raised a brow, wanting to see where Kaeya was headed.
"You do a whole showcase of your powers - appear in your fancy golden robes and all that. Maybe even shed a little of your blood-"
"Kaeya!" Diluc snapped, his brows furrowed and a silent, hot wave of rage radiating off of him.
The air was tense once more.
"What?" Kaeya asked, glancing at the man he once called brother lazily. "It'll be undeniable proof that they're the creator," he added, shrugging.
"He does have a point," Amber agreed. "But still... shouldn't the powers be enough?"
Kaeya hummed. "It'll be a last resort - how about that?" he looked to you.
"Yeah...I'm fine with that."
"What next, though?" Eula piped up.
"Well, The Creator will berate and publicly shame the others - maybe show some divine retribution, all that fun stuff."
You stifled a laugh.
All eyes were on you, as though bewitched by the sound.
"I think I like the sound of that."
