Part 1
characters: Nahida, zhongli, Raiden/Ei, Scaramouche/wanderer, Xiao/alatus, Venti, dottore, Albedo, aether/lumine/traveler and abyss prince/princess, dainsleif, azhdaha, miko, celestial
Note: I put the celestials and zhongli even though I already did them because I forgot to put in what they would do if you finally are in Teyvat. Also, some characters don't have their own section, just in someone's else. [Like Miko in Ei's]
Warning: Some have slight NSFW, but technically, it's mostly SFW, slight yandere or maybe just full on yandere and obsessed. Idk-
[They all wonder why you're calling them your baby girl(s)—]
//
Celestials might be a little greedy for trying to convince or guilt trap you to stay with them a bit longer.....
//
Zhongli. [ I know I already did zhongli, but I didn't put in what happened when you finally got into teyvat] he was so thrilled. If he was in his dragon body, his tail would've been wagging like a dog. His knees became weak by your presence. He just wanted you to touch him. He finally felt the warmth...although azhdaha just had to steal you from him! He also had a dragon form, so why don't you ask him to transform into it? You could see him in a corner with a slight frown [pout]. At least he gets head pats. [He'll get spoiled sooner or later 🤭]
//
Xiao. He was loyal to zhongli for sure, but you? He is obsessed with you. When he was alatus, you were the light who he always kept precious. You gave him warmth all those torturous years. You were the reason he could endure it before zhongli had finally saved him from it. He didn't know you were the creator. But when he finally knew, he was so happy. You were always with him, giving everyone hope and the same warmth that you gave him to the others and his friends. Why are you keeping giving him tofu to summon him? He's so very grateful for your cooking and thoughts, but you don't need to. Just call his name with your beautiful voice. You still do it though, which makes him slightly flustered as you can see the tips of his ears go red as he greets you. He was so, SO flustered and shy when you let him on your lap and hug you or lay on it. His eyes went heavy as he closed them. The first time in his whole life, he had a wonderful dream....(of you)
Nahida. Honestly, she felt really happy with you. Even when she was locked away, she felt you reaching for her. She still could feel the warmth, and that's why she's still having hope for someone to save her. Since she is literally the god of knowledge, she already knew you were the creator. Honestly, when you finally went to Teyvat, she didn't expect to be your child suddenly. Although she's not complaining! She loves it when you smother her with your parently love. [You totally did not try to beat the soul out of the grand sages for locking her up, and people, even some of the archons, had to hold you down-]
//
Ei would be concerned. Who was interfering with her eternity? She didn't know how to react. She always some what felt guilty whenever she did the vision hunt degree. She ignored it all, though. Until when the traveler showed her the beauty of inazuma. It was so different from what it was before...'Maybe it wasn't so bad after all.' She thought. She had noticed that one thing that stayed the same forever was the warmth she felt. She soon found out the warmth was from the creator! Oh, she was so happy. She would make a room that would eternity be dedicated to you! When you appeared in Teyvat, she would be so dang nervous. She wants to be perfect for you. Everything must be! She was going to send Raiden in her place but didn't expect you to personally come over to her! She tried giving you a tour, but she didn't really go outside much, so....yeah, you're technically giving her one instead.. but at least you enjoy braiding her hair for her as Miko is sitting on your lap in her fox form. She's very fluffy when you pet her. [She would be so embarrassed and will malfunction if you ask how she can pull out her sword from her—]
//
Scaramouche would try to hunt you down honestly. Like who tf are you?? And where the heck are you?? (Imagine you haunt him and keep whispering, "You're shorttt") he was so ready to beat the crap out of you. But he just had to get used to it since he was busy becoming a God. And when he did, he felt your presence once again but clearer. He again ignores it and continues with the fight, which comes with a loss. He had become wanderer now, and he told Nahida that he thinks someone is stalking him. Nahida finally tells him that you're the all mighty creator. So you have been with him this whole time...? Why? He wonders If you forgive him for his sins.... why were you....calling him scarameow?? Is that perhaps another language for something? What does it mean? But it's fine. He still loves you. He got jealous one time and became a 'doll' for your entertainment. He's been doing that a few times. He liked it when one time you manhandled danced with him or even dressed him up [with lingerie]
//
Oh Venti, that drunkard bard. Oh, how he always speaks about you. He loved you so much. You always played as the wind when he was just a spirit. He always talked to you, although you can't talk, the wind tells him everything. He loved you so dearly. You always protected him in the war. You protected all the people. He understands that you can't stop people from dying of age. It's fate. But you had always accompanied him and his friend. That's all he needs, and he's grateful for it. He already knew you were the creator. The wind tells him everything. He didn't think that he would accidentally make the creator drunk! He promised he was drunk when he offered a drink to you! Or when he falls happily on your lap and arms by falling from the tree that was surrounded by a cat. [He also didn't expect the wonderful view of you on the side of the bed.....naked.....wait, WHAT— [ I mean...he's not complaining besides not having the ability to walk...or think anything besides you and how good you fu—]
//
Oh dottore. At first, he did not at all care about you. Even when worshipping the creator was public and a thing, he wasn't exactly dedicated. Until he found some ancient script of mechanics and bunch of successful experiments of creatures you did. He did some research and it turns out that those creatures was friendly to you and you did those experiments not so gruesome. So that's why they didn't hold a grudge at you. He became more interested and now it's apart of the research he's doing. And even experiments perhaps. He didn't know thr warm fuzzy feeling in his chest when he saw you smile in those ancient script. Although he may have kept it all a secret until all of the harbingers [except scaramouche because this is the time where he erases himself from all memories] finally found out about it. Oh how he felt when he finally gazes at your body. You looked so much better in the script. He always seek you out for experiments and research. You have the knowledge that even Irminsul doesn't have. Although his constant touch, glances and the way he looks at you with a slight red face doesn't go unnoticed by you when he conduct an experiment on you. [He couldn't forget the 'experiment' conduct on you last night ♥︎]
○ —○ — ○ — experimenters— ○ —○ — ○ — ○
Albedo. He's exactly opposite from dottore at the start, he was obsessed with you. He worshiped you with so many new creations from his experiments and thanked you for uniting him with Klee. At first, he didn't know about you and was curious why he always felt a comforting presence until aunt Alice told him that it was you, their creator, his creator.
He found statues of you that were cracked and was leaking a certain gold liquid. There was scroll. It seems that you made it with your own blood. He researched your statue and conducted careful experiments. He was a little...too fascinated about your body. Drawing you in robes, poses, and even....drew doing stuff to him. He took such care and worshiped it as if it was really you.... you looked way more divine than the statue that you carved yourself. He always wanted you to ask you....."What's the purpose of me existing?"
[You can insert your thoughts if you want, but here's my response to it]
"(1.) There's none. You just exist. I just create you. But...(2.) You can make yourself a purpose. A reason to live out your lives I gave you all. Like you, perhaps you make your own purpose to live is to make Klee happy."
His eyes glinted as you chuckled. He had been in deep thought for a few weeks. Then suddenly, he smiled. 'Perhaps.....'
Dottore and Albedo would 10/10 would be literal vampires. Including zhongli, I swear. The moment they taste your blood as an experiment or accident, they will crave for more. (I know they will literally moan in delight when they tasted it.)
//
Traveler and abyss prince/princess. How they both felt it. Your warmth. Traveler accepts it with open arms. Traveler thanked you for supporting them to find their sibling. But the abyss prince/princess isn't so fond about accepting it. They don't need your pity.... but they guess they can take it once in a while, you did offer to them, didn't you? Oh, Dainsleif. He doesn't think he should accept it. He wants to, but he is not worthy. But once in a while, when he falls asleep, his lips curve into a smile as he bask in your warmth. They can be selfish, right? You did offer you warmth after all..... The abyss prince/princess tries to kidnap— I mean *cough* *cough* take you away but the Traveler holds onto your arm, not letting go. The abyss prince/princess argues that when the time comes after they finally finish their journey, they can find a home with you! But the traveler pouts and still won't budge. Dainsleif just watches in the background, conflicted. Although....that doesn't mean he didn't have the desire to keep you with him either...

Can we see the Liyue characters reaction to the marriage rumor 👀 I can absolutely imagine Ninguang going all out while Xiao has no idea what to do but knows he should do something to catch your attention. All the while poor poor Zhongli is suddenly regretting not having access to the same luxuries he had as an archon so he could spoil you
SAGAU,, the creator's bride/groom (part 2)
a/n: was actually in the process of writing this, but i was so happy to get some interaction from my genshin blog. this is my very first ask, ackk! i got so excited i wrote everything down in one sitting. thank you so much for the ask!!
a rumor that the almighty creator of teyvat is in the process of choosing a spouse spreads like wildfire. and all their acolytes start sucking up to them like insane. liyue edition! mondstadt edition here.
reader's gender is not specified, as with most of my works. requests and imagines in my ask box are appreciated, but will take a while. :D
warnings: none
Tumblr media
way before whispers of the creator's newest affairs were heard in mondstadt, way before those very words that caused a ferocious storm even reached the ears of the anemo archon, the rumors of the creator's supposed interest in marriage had already been quite rampant in liyue. trending was an understatement, not when every tongue within the lands of geo had spoken about their god's affairs regarding engagement and such.
everyone in liyue was buzzing when they heard the news. some feeling quite happy for the creator and some gearing up for the absolute war that would come the next few days. after all, the creator was currently staying in liyue harbor which practically screamed "OPPORTUNITY" for anyone in liyue who was interested.
safe to say, a certain former archon ended up choking on his food when he heard the news from the director of the wangsheng funeral parlor. zhongli didn't know if he was dreaming or not, the recent rumors too similar to one of his many fantasies with you. the only thing he needed now was for you to bust into the funeral parlor and propose to him, then he'd be fully convinced he was dreaming. but alas, no creator had appeared and no busting in had occured. and seconds later, his mind foggily returned to reality. he processed the information, at least he tried to, unable to grasp much for the next few minutes. immediately, he stood up, heading towards the direction of the hotel you were staying in. hu tao was a bit confused when the usually-composed-man left the room and said nothing, looking rather dazed. he originally intended to ask you if the rumors were true, wanting to take a rational approach, but the sight of all your acolytes clinging to you in a pathetic attempt to win you over had his head empty with jealousy. he was all too tempted to take the form of morax and persuade you with his endless and very valuable resources.
ningguang knew before most common folk, a characteristic move for the opportunistic businesswoman who had connections in almost every street of liyue. however, she did not expect your other followers to know as well when she descended from the jade palace to pay you a visit. behind her were many of her servants, carrying boxes decorated with intricate golden designs. it was quite obvious that whatever was inside each of those boxes cost quite a lot. the boxes themselves looked like they cost more than any of liyue's merchants' organs. however, they were barely acknowledged by you when the 11th harbinger stole you away once again, distracting you from ningguang's elegant presence with his mindless chatter.
the moment childe heard of your supposed interest in marriage, he decided then and there to make it his mission to bother you until your other suitors would eventually fend off. at first, it was questions about your interests and things you liked. he kept a mental list of all he learned that day, disappointed in himself for not knowing any sooner due to how busy he was all the time. the job of a fatui harbinger wasn't the easiest, after all. he considered the possibility that maybe if he got married to you, his service to the tsaritsa would be allowed an end and he could spend the rest of his years exploring the world by your side. he was quite content with listening to your ramblings and daydreaming about what it'd be like to be your lover, even more so your spouse. the moment the tianquan entered your room though, childe decided he would be a menace, wanting to push the rich woman's buttons until she would eventually give up on pursuing you.
ningguang was usually a very patient woman, but something about the ginger irked her in all the wrong ways. she couldn't handle the way he blatantly flirted with you, leaving subtle touches on your body. she could only glare at his hand as she took quiet sips of her tea from across where the two of you were seated. ningguang internally praised you for being such a kind and understanding god because if she was in your place, she would've smacked the fatui harbinger away by now. it was like she wasn't even in the room anymore with how much childe had been hogging you. she couldn't begin to imagine the pain of zhongli whose presence you haven't even noticed yet.
matters were only made worse by the fact that ganyu, someone ningguang thought she would never view as a rival entered your room without knocking, a faint blush on her cheeks. "[name], i happened to stumble into your favorite flowers and thought that maybe-" instead of your happy and accommodating smile, she was greeted with the three harshest glares she had ever encountered in her whole life. ganyu had heard of the rumors, yes, but she wasn't one to believe rumors so easily, so she paid them no mind unlike the three other figures in your room.
"oh, ganyu! what brings you here?" you left your place next to childe (an action that warranted a rather bitter look on his face), giddily wrapping your arms around ganyu to greet her. it seemed that she was much too flustered to answer your question and had completely forgotten how to form coherent words when you wrapped your arms around her. not that you minded. her facial expressions were quite funny to watch.
"ganyu, it's a pleasant surprise meeting you here. although i must say, it's quite rude how you just barged in here and called the creator by the first name. i'm sure you have better manners than that." ningguang spoke from her seat, directing her gaze away from you and ganyu, knowing that she would only get angrier by the second if she did. venom, rather poorly hidden, dripped from her words and it seemed to intimidate the poor girl next to you.
"no! no! it's fine, i told ganyu she could do that."
"barge into your room? or call you by your name?" childe asked from his seat, sounding sarcastic, but truthfully unable to stop himself from wondering.
"both. also, i've been asking all of you call me by my name, it just so happens that ganyu was the first to listen."
Tumblr media
zhongli seemed to have more luck the next day when he happened to run into you in the streets of liyue harbor early in the morning.
"oh? [name]? i didn't expect to see you here so early in the morning." just uttering your name felt like violating a forbidden taboo to zhongli. but after yesterday's encounter, he thought that maybe you truly did like to be called by your name and you weren't just saying things as a test of respect.
"oh! xiao went to my room last night and invited me to a picnic near wangshu inn. i just thought it'd be more convenient if i started traveling there earlier, you know?"
"that sounds (unacceptable, he wanted to say. how could your other acolytes just let you wander alone?) a bit unsafe, your- [name]. if you don't mind, i can assist you to wangshu inn to reassure that you arrive there in one piece."
you would've refused zhongli's offer in any other scenario, but after practically ignoring his existence yesterday, you accepted as a way to apologize. perhaps you could ease his mind with a little bit of conversation. surely that would be enough to pay for your mistake yesterday.
now, xiao had absolutely no idea how courting worked. he tried going around the inn, looking for books, anything, that could assist him with the topic. perhaps you would like dead offerings? should he got hunting for wild animals? or would you rather he seduce you with his body like in those e-ro-ti-ka books he found somewhere around the inn? he felt defeated, not knowing what to do once you arrived for your little picnic date. things would've been much easier had he had rex lapis as a guide and an advisor, he thought to himself, so imagine his surprise once he spotted rex lapis' mortal form walking with you towards him.
zhongli was certainly planning on sabotaging your supposed friend date with xiao, scheming in his head how he would steal you away from the adeptus, using those moments to win you over. and when you two spent a few hours in pleasant conversation, walking side-by-side, ever so often smiling at each other and giddily laughing, he was pretty sure he was going to go through with his plan, despite the initial guilt he felt for sabotaging a close friend. however, when he saw the way xiao's cheeks grew ever-so-pink at the way you hugged him the moment you saw him and the way a smile threatened to break through the usually-stoic-man's facade, he decided to leave you two alone to bond, letting xiao have his moment with you.
zhongli sat quietly in wangshu inn's restaurant, plates empty as he wondered what you and xiao were up to at that very moment. the good food lessened the sting he felt, jealousy clawing at his insides. he shouldn't regret his decision, he told himself. not when alatus looked so elated to be around you. he nodded to himself, yes, this is the right thing to do.
looking down at his empty plate, that is when he realized he has no mora with him.

Oh but Xiao is not the biggest fan of their Grace. Their Grace was there when he was not fully free from this old god. But it was not them who save him. It was and is still Morax.
Later, as he was free from his old duties and find solace into the fatherly aura of his new master, he was personally introduced by him to their Grace, with a mission to protect this almighty divinity.
And protect them he did. He protected them for century with the others Yaksha while fighting for Morax and Liyue.
But the embrace of this almighty divinity didn't helped.
Being next to them never alleviate their karmic debt, never lighten the burdens of the Yakshas.
He wanted to talk about it with his god, but was quickly stopped by Bosacius. He tried, and Morax was not really happy about it. Enrage of the mere thought of one of his people doubting their Grace. Even more when he was one of the soldier entrust into their protection.
So he shut himself.
Buried his anger and bitterness behind his duty, killing each monster he could find, hoping to drown these feeling under the dark blood of Hilichurls.
Until he met the traveler.
He is finally able to understand Morax, to feel what he was trying to convert to him all those years. The outermost feeling of needing someone and to feel happy to serve them.
He felt the aura of this almighty being, watching the traveler and keeping them safe.
And suddenly, life have a purpose again.

FALLEN!
c.w // death mention(s), yan. behavior
inspo; @sheepispink's post (link)
a/n; i did not forget abt this whattt
start under cut
LOCATION: THE CHASM
The air nipping across his features, and whipping his hair around. It hit across his face, and in his eyes, which were now slowly closing. He was falling, and he awaited death.
Bonanus, Megnogias... Indarias, Bosacius... I'm sorry. I wasn't strong enough for you. I wasn't the best friend you all deserved, and yet I was the last one. You all deserved so much better. And I'm sorry, Your Grace, for I wont be able to worship you any longer. Thank you, for using me as your vessel, even if it was for a short time. He thought, as he continued to fall into the darkness, sinking deeper and deeper until he finally hit something, and passed out.
LOCATION: YOUR HOME
His eyes fluttered open as he woke up, and he felt someone's gaze watching him.
"Are you awake yet?" A voice asked, and it felt familiar to him. He knew it from somewhere, or some time, and after a while of thinking he remembered. It was the voice that came with the shining stars calling for him, the moment he became a vessel, and- oh my archons, it was you! He put the pieces together rather quickly, and he star straight up while looking around just to see you.
"Your Grace?" Xiao exclaimed, eyes widened in shock.
"Huh?" You said, startled by his sudden movement.
"H-how did I get here?" He said, staring at you. You shifted a bit under his gaze, after all, you would too if a character from a video game that you normally played and was known for being ruthless with their enemies without usually any sympathy. You took a deep breath to steady yourself, and you were ready to explain.
"I was playing a game, in which you're a character in and-" You started, but he cut you off. (in the most respectful way he could, of course.)
"I, I know about all the teyvat-is-a-video-game stuff." He admitted, ad you were surprised, of course. You let out and 'oh.' and continued.
"I was walking around my house-" You motioned around you, "-and I heard a whoosh sound, but really loud and annoying. I looked up and there was just a big dark portal-like hole above me. I move away from under it of course, lord knows what it does, and then BAM! You fell back-first onto my couch." You finished explaining, and he was in shock for a while. A portal came out of nowhere and just decided to bless him by dropping him into your world, your house, and in your presence nonetheless? He could only nod, and you stood there in an awkward silence. Well, it was awkward to you, Xiao was too busy staring at you, and he only just started admiring you; your clothes, your skin tone, your special details, (not those you horny gremlin) and he found you mesmerizing. Enchanting, even.
"Are you okay?" That question snapped him out of his daze, and he nodded.
"Okay.. uhm, how do you feel?" You asked with a slight tilt of your head, and only then did Xiao realize he didn't feel any pain. At all. His karmic debt that was constantly and always tearing his body apart; it was gone. He couldn't hear the screams, couldn't feel the pain, absolutely none of it. He could barely even remember how it felt like.
"Xiao?"
"Im.. it's gone..?" He said, unsure and slightly worried he might jinx it and it'd come back put of nowhere.
"What is? Your karmic debt?"
"Yes.. I don't feel it.."
"Do you think its because.. because you're not in Teyvat anymore? That it cancels out now that you're in my world?"
"I think... I think that's it."
It was silent for a bit after that.
"Xiao?" You said.
"Yes, Your Grace?"
"Can I.. uhm.. touch you?" You asked, bashfully, and looked down at the floor. You looked back at Xiao to see him surprised.
"Sorry it's stupid I know-" you started, a blush forming across your face.
"Of cour- I mean-- yes, Your Grace, you can." He replied, enthusiastically. You were surprised, but you slowly stopped closer to him, and reached your hand up to his cheek. You softly brushed against it, and he leant into it a bit, closing his eyes. Your face reddened even more, and you were glad he was (apparently) enjoying your touch. Your other hand made its way onto his back, and you pulled him into a hug, envolping him into yourself. He was in shock for a while, but he hugged back, slowly and carefully, as if you'd break like a vase in his arms.
Soon, he'd become a normal part of your life– he'd help with cleaning and cooking, insisting on watching over you like a bodyguard, and you even got him to try on different clothes and styles that suited him well.
You taught him about your normal life and the technology you had, the music, the places, and the tourist spots.
A match made in Celestia, he thought, smiling at your sleeping form laying beside him as he stroked your hair.
Meanwhile, the others in Teyvat had heard of Xiaos dissapearance, and soon sawyours later on, too.

Love your Xiao x God!reader fanfic and was wondering if--- since you're continuing Venti's x Reader's into a multi-series like Zhongli's already is--- if you could make another part with Xiao and Reader living that cottagecore life and telling everyone else who dissed her she wanted nothing to do with them. I just kept thinking about how there are Rubedo x Rejected!Reader fics like that and thought... "But what if it were with Xiao???"
Of warm breezes and softened hearts
Tumblr media
oh my god yessss cottagecore life with Xiao would be so nice....like he isn't very social so he wouldn't mind the distance but one on one he can be really nice to be with??? And since I'm in a Xiao meed due to the recent archon quest, here comes the boy
This is a spiritual part 2 to THIS
Length: 1k words
Tumblr media
The gentle hum of a warm breeze grazed across the lush green blades of grass, rustling them in it's gentle hold. The humming of birds hovered around - carried on by the wind and wrapping the quaint meadow in a beautiful melody.
You hummed along with the birds, a soft smile on your features as you delicately plucked ripe, spongey sunsettias from the branches of a looming cuihua tree. The branches themselves seemed to reach out to you - making picking the fruits an easy task. With a happy hum, you stroked the bark of the tree after clearing it of fruit.
It seemed to make the winds surrounding you excited - as it picked up speed and washed over you in a gust of warm air.
You chuckled and shook your head, already used to such strange antics of the nature around you.
You set out meat and pellets for the wildlife to enjoy, before moving to the little garden outside your small dwelling - pulling out weeds and harvesting carrots, radishes and potatoes. Soon enough, your little basket was filled to the brim with fresh ingredients.
You rounded the corner of your cottage, peeking at the Adeptus who was dutifully grinding wheat into flour and sweet flowers to sugar on your stone mill. You leaned against the wall of your abode, smiling.
He seemed to sense your presence, glancing over his shoulder at you. The warm sun cast a lovely halo of light upon his darkened crown of hair. The corners of his lips twitched upwards into a gentle smile.
"Any progress?" you asked, pushing yourself away from the wall and setting down the basket weighing in your arms. He nodded, motioning towards the canvas bags he'd already filled. You grinned, approaching him.
"Looks like we're set for a while," you spoke softly, looping your arms around his frame from behind. He leaned into the touch.
"I still have some ingredients left," he spoke, "I can grind them all down, if you'd like."
You shook your head, pulling him closer to yourself.
"I think you've done more than enough. How about we head inside and get the oven warm?"
He nodded.
"Anything for you, your grace."
You rolled your eyes playfully.
"It's (Y/n). I've told you hundreds of times to stop calling me by that silly title," you chided, finding enjoyment in the teasing manner his lips quirked upwards.
"Of course, anything for you, (Y/n)."
You ruffled his hair and pecked his cheek, before retreating.
"Come on then, my vigilant Yaksha," you spoke, grabbing a few of the bags off the ground and making your way over to your discarded basket.
With a soft grunt, the man picked up the rest, following you dutifully.
You strained the solids from the creamy almond milk mixture with the help of a cheesecloth, gently pouting the mixture into a ceramic clay bowl you'd made. It was a little lumpy - but did the job well. You poured out a little bit of milk in addition to that and reached for one of the bags of sugar. Digging in with a perfectly shaped ceramic spoon - one Xiao himself had made, you scooped sugar into the mixture. Happily humming to yourself, you mixed the ingredients up, unaware of the silent presence stepping into the room and coming to a halt in the doorway.
You left the ingredients to simmer, as you poured water onto your dirtied hands, shaking off the stray water before wiping them dry with a small towel.
"It smells good," Xiao spoke quietly, yet still managing to startle you.
You whipped around to face the adeptus.
"My apologies - I didn't mean to scare you."
You smiled nervously.
"It's not your fault. It's just a...learned reaction."
You saw irritation flash in his teal eyes briefly.
The two of you rarely spoke of the events prior to your lovely living situation. The hunt for your head, or the time you nearly lost Xiao. It was a sore topic. Thankfully, your abode was situated neatly in a tucked away meadow, with various monsters patrolling the area to keep away intruders. Truthfully, you didn't know if there were any intruders at this point. None had gotten to you, at the very least.
At first, before you'd installed safety measures, the archons and the various citizens of Teyvat had tried to contact you, though. Bringing forth offerings and long winded apologies.
"Your grace, I know what I and my people have done is unforgivable-"
"It is. There's no buts about it," you replied, your shoulders tensed.
The geo archon lowered his gaze.
"Take your stupid gifts and get out of my sight."
You grimaced as the memory refurfaced.
Xiao rushed forward, his gaze searching yours in concern.
"(Y/n)?"
You shot him another shaky smile.
"Bad memories. Nothing more."
He sighed, and hesitantly reached out, caressing your cheek with a calloused hand. You leaned into the touch, closing your eyes.
The sweet scent of almonds, and the ever so faint smell of herbs lingered in your nose, soothing your senses. You cupped Xiao's hand in your own.
"I love you," you whispered softly, opening your eyes.
Xiao looked a little flustered.
"I love you too," he spoke, gently pressing his forehead against yours and placing a chaste kiss upon the tip of your nose. You exhaled in a soft laugh.
Later, that night, you ate almond tofu together in comfortable silence. You watched with proud joy as the adeptus who had first been so keen on not eating - not showing any signs of weakness around you - was lowering his guard and settling into this blissful domesticity you had created.
"It tastes perfect, as expected," he told you after finishing his final bite.
You rolled your eyes.
"I doubt it beats the one served at Wangshu Inn."
He shook his head.
"It tastes much better than theirs."
You smirked.
"Maybe because the main ingredient is love," you cringed inwardly at the cheesiness of the statement.
Xiao, however, seemed taken aback in a pleasant manner.
"Maybe so."
As night dawned upon the two of you, you changed into nightwear, as Xiao prepared himself to go out.
"You know, I doubt you need to go patrolling every night. We should be safe here," you sighed, your brows creasing.
He smiled at you sadly.
"I want to make sure you sleep safe and sound."
You strode over to him, placing a gentle hand on his chest and pressing a kiss to his lips.
"Be safe out there, Xiao."
He nodded.
"I will."
"I better not see a scratch on you tomorrow."
His lips quirked upwards. "You won't."
With that promise lingering in the air, you finally made your way back to bed, slipping under the covers. A final glance exchanged between the two of you, and Xiao was gone, donning his mask.
You allowed your head to hit the pillow below it with a sigh.
You only hoped he would keep that promise.

— “PUNISHMENT?”
MOON CARVER responds, “Yes, your Grace. We sinners await whatever punishment you wish to grant us.”
The thought has not crossed your mind, not once.
Yet, it seems that very thought has brainwashed your subjects minds the moment you stepped foot unto Liyue Harbor’s entrance.
You and Alatus made a point to tread lightly on the damp, pitted stone beneath your feet and — despite your efforts — the sheer impact of your divinity seems to have alerted every occupant of Liyue Harbor.
Your first appearance now acknowledged as Teyvat’s Divine Monarch could rob ones breath and dignity like no other.
Alatus alerting Liyue of your appearance had increased the number of subjects pouring unto Liyue’s entrance gate tenfold.
A far cry of what you had expected to see.
The clouds had shielded Liyue from any sunshine today, effectively portraying Teyvat’s grievances towards its caretakers for daring to lift a hand against its creator.
You remained static as you watched every man, woman, child, and illuminated beast alike in Liyue hasten to kneel before their omnipotent monarch. The societal divide that separates them all are no longer in the face of Their Grace.
You scan the overwhelming myriad of subjects that kneel in an orderly formation.
“One after another, they’d all bow to you, Your Grace. All of them,” Alatus said, “none the wiser.”
Now more than anyone, you know.
The Geo Archon and his dearest companion, Alatus, accompanies him at the forefront of his army. Their heads bowed in respect — they take in the accolade of laying at your very feet.
In the following line there is Cloud Retainer, Mountain Shaper, and Moon Carver. After that, the Tianquan, the Yuheng and head secretary Ganyu all in one line.
Gourmet chef Xiangling and her father kneel shoulder-to-shoulder. In a more rigid position is Xingqiu, second son of the Feiyun Commerce Guild sat next to the elders of his family.
There even seems to be an entire bloodline of unique exorcists…
The seventy-seventh Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Hu Tao is sat next to Yanfei, residential lawyer.
Behind them, Liyue’s princess — Yunjin, and fellow musician Xinyan attempt to disguise their intertwined fingers.
A talisman only belonging to the undead flows with the wind. It leads your gaze to Baizhu, who keeps his left hand on the small of Qiqi’s back, grounding her. You see her eyes dart back and forth between people she can’t bring herself to recognize.
The list is never-ending.
You realize that this must be quite difficult for your subjects, bearing the burden of complete silence. “There will be no ruling of punishment. Not today.”
Morax doesn’t dare raise his head, but protests, “Surely Your Grace will see to it that we are duly punished for our sins.”
You smile gently, “I think not.”
“But, we—“
“Are you questioning my authority, Morax?”
He swallows, taking a crippling pit of shame spiraling down into his stomach. Stiffly, he says, “Of course not, your Grace.”
The clouds reel back, retreating to float into yet another corner of the glimmering sky above. The sea of clouds moves North onward — a sign from Teyvat itself.
You can feel Teyvat’s heart beating, resounding through the veins of land beneath your feet.
The land is alive once more.
You clap your hands, heads perking up at the exclamation. You grin adoringly at your subjects, illuminated by the suns glory, “Please, show me the Liyue you’ve built with your own hands.”
Your people rejoice.

Burdens and A Creator
Tumblr media
A/n: I'm finishing up Xiao's story quest and wow.
Warning/what to expect: Spoilers! Xiao's Story quest, Sagau, fluff
The cold air blows the fallen leaves and the smell if food. The guests of the Wangshu Inn were laughing and enjoying amongst themselves. "Have you heard the creator would be coming!" a man shouted as the others cheered. Tonight was pleasant and calm, the vigilant yaksha listened to the idle chatter and yells of the guests.
Xiao sighs as he watched over the plains. He jumps off to find the monsters. He stops at the sound of the subtle sound of humming? Xiao walked closer as he saw a person gazing at the stars. "If you want to join me, you can" the person said as they patted the empty space beside them. Unknowingly, Xiao followed as he listened to the sound of humming. "Is your Karmic Debt bothering you?" the stranger asked as they continue to look at the stars. Xiao didn't answer, as the stranger's presence calmed his raging flames. "Alatus, Do not be afraid" the stranger smiled "For I am (Y/n), the creator" you smile as Xiao could only wordlessly nod.
"It seems a heavy burden has been on you for quite some time... Could one alleviate this burden" You questioned as you place your hand on top of his. "I deserve it, my karmic debt is mine alone to bear!" Xiao shouted. "This burden isn't justified." You stared at him as he flinched "You keep Liyue and it's people safe, you are the only one to slay demonic entities, this debt has long been paid" you smile. "But my karmic debt keep mutating other, I do deserve it!" He yells as you calmly caress his cheek. "My Alatus, I know that this world has many imperfections, you can't keep holding it in" "What about the contract?" He asks as you grin. "As far as I know the contract is for you to protect Liyue... It says nothing about alleviating your Karmic Debt." You frown as Xiao held on to one of your hands. "I will ask again, Will you let me alleviate this burden?"
The cool wind blows as the grass and trees rustle. A silent nod was his response, You smile as you cup his face. "Alatus, I need you to say it" you smile as he closes his eyes. "Please..." You smile.
Xiao felt light, it was as if he was with his fellow yakshas. You smile as the Vigilant Yaksha fell asleep on your lap. "Sleep tight, my yaksha"

pocket Xiao 🥺 and maybe pocket Barbara please <33
Pocket Xiao is an antivirus software widget. can’t convince me otherwise. he protec.
Tumblr media
Anomalies (Pocket Xiao)
Xiao’s widget was a bit… different. While most of the Genshin Widgets were focused more on interaction, Xiao was more often than not hiding away in the background. You could entice him out yes, but never for long. Chibi or not, this was the Vigilant Yaksha, and he wasn’t one to shirk his duties. Xiao kept an eye on the things that happened in the background. The code that ran the device you’d reached him on was just as important to him as Liyue. He watched over both with equal diligence, never hesitating against his opponents, whether demons or malware. Just um, don’t worry too much if you stumble across a tab or two with recipes for Almond Tofu. He’s uh… looking into it. For defensive purposes of course.

notes // hello anon! of course you can, everything for our favourite adeptus xiao <3 i hope you like it, i wanted to make it fitting for xiao- so a bit of pain and angst, but also hope for the future ;)
warnings // bit angst, alatus getting mentioned alot, hints of god!reader
Xiao has known pain since the moment he had been born. Pain of torture, pain of dreams, pain of karma, pain of simply existing. Pain had molded him into the Yaksha he was today, the Demon Conqueror, Adeptus Xiao, trusted servant of Rex Lapis. Long he shed the skin of Alatus, a free and young Adeptus, naive and knowing nothing of the pain this world holds.
Never he shifts into his primary form, a majestic bird, bright with colors- something that was no longer him. So he buried Alatus deep in him, hiding behind the Karmatic Pains and the cold mask of Xiao.
Yet... yet when one day, his Karmatic Debt has been lifted of his weary soul, something fluttered in him, Alatus fluttered in him. Longing for freedom, to stretch his wings again and simply fly.
Xiao immediately buried the sudden urge to transform and continued his war path on demons and monsters alike. And still he could not shake his shock and unpleasant surprise of the emerging Alatus, all while his Karmic Debt simply vanished.
He is paranoid, waiting for something to happen, for Rex Lapis suddenly being alive again, for another god- just something.
But nothing happened.
Well, that was not entirely right, but the changes happened days and weeks after. His Primordial Jade-Winged Spear, gifted by his master, former master, pierced the flesh of monsters with more ease. His anemo abilities became stronger, much stronger. He himself too. His stamina increased, something that shouldn't even be possible- Xiao is and was always at his peak ability, body and vision alike.
⁘°•⁎⁘.
And then- the voice.
Soft and without any malice in his ear, praising and cheering on him, all while guiding him through the chaos of battle. Oh, how suspicious and on guard he had been in the beginning, fearing his life, his immortal life and waiting for another vicious master, shaping him into a weapon.
But the voice wasn't anything like that. No, the voice was protecting him, keeping him safe even though he didn't need it, healing him and always talking to him. The voice never heard him answering, so he did his best to follow the voice needs, to feel the fluttering wings of Alatus once again.

Cult!Genshin x reader
Sagau pt.3 Liyue
Warnings: cult behavior, obsessive thoughts, religion, spoilers
[Sagau pt.1 Khaenri'ah here] 👇
[Sagau pt.2 Mondstadt here] 👇
Zhongli
Morax was your longest known worshipper - though none known previously how he got to know you, it was only common knowledge that he did worship you in his time of when he was still but a young adeptus
But of course doubts started to spiral once death came-whether it was from his wrath or another being's own bloodthirst
Was it meant to happen?
Morax would ask himself that same  question-as he watches both his acquaintances and rivals die in front of his eyes
He was sort of angry at you-cursed you silently(not wanting to be known for disrespecting you but he did it quietly)
Yet the geo-scaled Archon despite those doubts and trials--He, then matured over the decades he walked in Teyvat his faith in you stood still like the mountains made by geo he made all over the shores of Liyue
plus... Barbatos's 'fact' as the winged-archon would like to call it seemed a bit insulting and he somehow wanted to prove the latter wrong despite knowing its not worth wasting his energy for more important matters
In his time of living among the mortals of Liyue he understood that every thing was meant to happen
He exhaled ;sipping the tea as he watches the lanterns dance among Teyvat's sky
though his victories from the past did haunt him-- Zhongli was finally at peace, knowing that his nation were thriving and advancing without the need of Rex lapis
but what made him feel even more relaxed was the presence of what you'd call 'divine'
Zhongli's golden eyes squinted as if instinctively trying to find something he'd like to think he'd seen before
Your acolyte smiled from afar looking fondly at the docks of Liyue of where you stood with the traveller and a sea of his people
Xiao
Your presence was educated by Morax to him when Alatus was recently just saved by the hands of the cruel god
'the all mighty Creator of Teyvat'
what was so special about you?that made Rex lapis himself worship you
Not to ask that question in a tone which a certain anemo-winged archon used--but one of piqued curiousity
He always wondered about your existence whether during his time with the other yaksha's or even after their passing..
Though he could ask Morax--he'd rather not seeing how the Geo archon had his own responsibilities to deal with
No matter Xiao leaves the subject on the back of his mind and sighed as his pain continues to course through his body
For now.. as your acolyte Xiao can only say that he has respect for you for at least helping him save the people who reside in the harbour through the Traveler or through him
But can he really be satisfied with just that after witnessing your arrival at the harbour-well the answer is.. no
not when the karmic dept that the young Yaksha held for so long almost instantly disappears at the sight of your divine gaze that reflected the lanterns of Liyue
Baizhu
Since birth he was always physically weak and as the years passed by his health also weakened mentally
Baizhu wouldn't say he's a Saint like his regular customers would like to see him as-rather he see's himself as a human-and there was no doubt he was
Greed
Some people say he had that quality-and he would frown at the notion,, but can you really blame him when not careful anytime could be a dead end for the sickly man
Although the mint haired man would always feel guilty on taking advantage of Qiqi's immortality despite doing it over again--
However when you finally arrived in Teyvat Baizhu thought he would feel immense guilt the moment he mentioned about his endeavours and his reason of taking care of Qiqi--plus the fact that he treated you as you were human instead of the Creator
The mint haired man would always apologise for all the troubles he's been giving you this past hour
But instead you reassured him-well awkwardly patted him at the back is what you did-- but it was enough to quell his tears
Such a kindness shouldn't be unrewarded.. (though he Baizhu knows he's not in place to reward-but to show his faithfulness to you)he would offer himself as one of your acolytes to honor you with his body
Ganyu
The news of the Creator's arrival on Teyvat had been a shock to the people Liyue and to her as well-but it wasn't unwelcomed!
she was part of the beings who prepared the festival for you! Though not her money nor' the idea-Ganyu was glad to be working full time on the project assigned to her
She didn't need any rest and definitely didn't want to if its for you!Though your insistence of her resting will make her blink her eyes in confusion to shift to one of embarrassment ;saying she didn't need to
But with your offer that you'd let her lay down on your lap made her want to reconsider the offer
Shenhe
Cloud retainer had spoken about you through times of when she was but a child taken in by the crane adeptus
Shenhe had a feeling in her heart, though she couldn't describe it-- andit felt absolutely horrible,, something about you appearing before her, what made you show yourself now?! She couldn't explain the reason why she felt this way
Maybe it was about her childhood that was sacrificed once her father sent her to die in the hands of a demon
It was your lack of presence in one's time of need that made her somewhat feel ill about you
She hated the feeling once it showed in her stomach, she herself never wanted to feel like that when seeing you in a physical form
Though she stayed quiet at your visit-though no glaring was seen in her eyes Cloud retainer could feel the small rage that Shenhe was having behind those ropes that bind the white haired girl
But even she, knows that another feeling was bubbling up as you held her hands with a soft gentle smile for her
Perhaps she'd like to get know you in a different light if ever possible
Ningguang
As a child she struggled but she did her best to thrive in the streets of Liyue while praying that you'd make her your favourite acolyte-And she did become at least one of them
With grace and gratitude she welcomed you and traveler with open arms, Announcing her opening speech,, she stands at her most beloved magnum opus; The Jade Chamber
Pantalone
A true man of greed..but can you really blame him?as a child he struggled to even find a single penny to feed himself, eating only the crumbs that the people of the harbour dropped so carelessly
As he hates the Geo archon for not giving a single mora to him and what makes it worse that it didn't make you any different from the archon that the sea of people seem to worship so much
Where were you and the God of Contracts when he needed both of you??
He scoffed at the news of your arrival, though with newly found wealth, Pantalone didn't seem all that smiley today-in fact he had a frown all day long making others question his sudden change of expression
The black haired man told them the reason calmly-but they could tell that there was a venomous tone on the tip of his toungue
Pierro shakes his head in a disapproving way,he was acting a bit childish he knows-by the way the ginger's expression also became dark even when Tartaglia just had a laughing fit
The banker looked in the eyes of his comrades and of the Cryo archon
Just as the Northland's bank currencies are the tears of the gamblers that had set their money on pride and the blood of the poor who spent their last breath trying to gain a single mora
Maybe you'd like to earn his forgiveness that weight off a million-no-
A lifeline worth of mora would make him him forgive you as long you'll comply to every one of his desires
Tumblr media
23_chan: I still don't know if Pantalone is from Liyue, but this is just a quick Headcanon of him--if he isn't then I'll just transfer him on a nation where he is a part of @w@

Chapter 1: The Return of the Beginning, and the Start of Something Greater
Tumblr media
Here we go, first Sagau fic I'm posting on this site. I haven't used Tumblr in years so bear with me while I remember how to use everything.
You can also find the fic here, under the same name, where it'll probably be updated sooner compared to here.
Likes and reblogs are greatly appreciated! Enjoy! :)
Chapter 2 is here
Tumblr media
There is a false god in Teyvat.
The winds know it and the earth knows it. The animals know it and the plants know it. The monsters and the storms and the clouds and the sea all are aware. Teyvat cannot be deceived. And yet, it cannot do anything to stop this false god. It is powerless against a higher power, a heretic sitting upon a throne of lies. All Teyvat can do is watch and pray that one day, the rightful owner of the title Creator will return.
The false god has tricked the people of Teyvat. Gods and mortals alike bow before them and swear their undying devotion to a puppet. They cannot see through the trickery of the heretic’s words. The false god stays in power and rules with a cruel fist with no room for mercy within their cold heart. Teyvat feels it and suffers. It weeps for its true Creator, the Almother Caratrice, to descend from her heavenly plane and smite the false god with her Veritas Incarnata, Truth Incarnate, a sword fused with the power to reduce Celestia to ash if need be. Alas, the Divine Creator remains absent from her world. And Teyvat continues to weep.
There is a prophecy, one written in the stars and banished from all forms of text by the hand of the false god. A prophecy that speaks of heroes, of battles, of blood and death and a fight between gods that will shake Teyvat to its very core and bring mortals and immortals alike to their knees. It speaks of the Divine Creator rising up and defeating the false god to reclaim her rightful throne and free the people from the chains of Madness with the aid of her nine champions. It is a prophecy of freedom. It is a prophecy of hope.
When the earth shakes and the sky crumbles,
when the blind’s hunt is done…
When the Truth and the Madness collide,
the battle for Teyvat will have begun…
From the night sky oh holy Caratrice will come and rise up to reclaim her throne.
With the help of the new Nine Choirs, Teyvat will welcome the true Creator home.
Lupus, Rota, Ocellus, Fila, Peregrinus, Alatus, Monoceros, Iracundus, and lastly, Palmatum.
Nine names, nine Choirs, defenders of the Ideals.
Find them, bring them together, the Truth shall be revealed.
The Creator and the Nine will free Teyvat from the spell,
and the heretic’s Madness shall be quelled.
And if the prophecy is not fulfilled,
blood will stain the earth,
and the world will suffer still.
3,000 years before the Archon War, the Creator was at war with Armageddon, the Destroyer, god of the apocalypse, her twin brother and corrupted counterpart. Teyvat was in ruins, and life was on the brink of extinction. The Nine Choirs, human beings who were chosen by Caratrice to rise to godhood and fight as her warriors, were tired. Humanity was tired, and the world was close to being consumed by the Destroyer’s darkness. So, the Creator, in all of her compassionate glory, sacrificed herself to save Teyvat. She gave up her light to chase back the Madness and died with the promise to return someday to finish off Armageddon once and for all. For this solution was only temporary: Caratrice’s light did not kill her brother, only wounded him. Beneath the earth in which the Crossroads was built is where Armageddon slumbers. Someday he will awaken, and the god of the apocalypse will rise once again.
The Nine, not only Caratrice’s strongest fighters but also her dearest friends, mourned her loss and disappeared without a trace. Teyvat was safe, but without its founder. Life could go on, but not without the possibility of Armageddon returning. Without its godly protectors, the darkness could be left to fester and constantly fight back against the light.
There is a false god in Teyvat. An imposter, an impersonator. This false god abuses the power wrongly bestowed upon them to trick the people of Teyvat with a veil of Madness. But this heretic’s time is limited. And they know, sooner or later, the true Creator will keep her promise and return to the world she conjured so many ages ago. Teyvat knows it, and it is prepared, ready to embrace the reincarnated Caratrice with open arms. The prophecy must be fulfilled. The Primal Light will awaken again.
Tumblr media
She stood on a thin line, a sheer cliff that went straight down on both sides.
Surrounding her was a veil of darkness. Below her was the abyss. Above her was nothing but an empty void of swirling gray and black. There was no light except for the faint golden and purple glow that seemed to be emanating from her. Cara knew she was dreaming. Her body was numb and disconnected from her brain; she couldn’t move. It was strange, to be experiencing an out-of-body sensation such as this one, and yet having no control of how things went. With no choice other than to simply go along with whatever her subconscious mind was conjuring, she stood there, watching the abyss roil and the darkness churn.
“Caratrice?”
The voice that bellowed out from the shadows sent a deep vibration through her body. On its own accord, her head tilted up to the sky. The light within her pulsed and brightened.
“Can you hear me Caratrice?”
Something was descending from the sky. Cara saw the bright flash of wings and felt the burning gaze of something massive staring down at her. The light within her pierced through the darkness and responded to the foreign entity. Cara was blinded to the point where she couldn’t see anything at all.
“You must return to the world you left behind, Caratrice. Your creations need you.”
Her mind was alight with memories that did not belong to her. Beautiful blue skies. Green hills and towering mountains. Constellations and the voices of people she didn’t know. All she could see was gold and purple.
“Wake up Caratrice.”
“Wake up.”
“Caratrice.”
“Wake up!”
Cara shot forward with a gasp, a cry leaving her lips as she lurched out of the darkness and into an entirely different environment. She panted, sweat congregating on her forehead as she clutched her t-shirt and closed her eyes, struggling to control her breathing and calm herself down.
When she opened her eyes again, she observed her surroundings. She wasn’t standing on a cliff that was on the edge of darkness. She was sitting in her bed with her covers drawn over her legs. Morning light filtered through her bedroom shades. She could hear the chirping of birds outside of her window and the distant rumble of cars.
She was safe. The abyss, the golden and purple light, the voice. It had been nothing more than a nightmare. She was okay. She was alright.
That’s the fifth time this week.
They were growing more consistent, and Cara was not happy about it. Every time she shut her eyes and fell asleep, she was plagued by the same nightmare. She didn’t know how much longer she could handle this. Every single one ended with the same outcome: a loud booming voice yelling for her to return to her “creations.” She would wake up in a cold sweat, terror seizing her heart as she was forced out of sleep and back into the real world. She had no idea what these nightmares meant. There had to be some hidden meaning behind them. But what could it be? It was frustrating to wake up from the same dream every morning and have absolutely no idea what it was implying about her life.
Well, it didn’t matter anymore, did it? Sleep was impossible to grasp now, and after lying in bed for a few minutes with nothing to do but stare up at her ceiling, Cara sighed and slowly got out of bed to make her way to her bathroom. Switching on the lamp stationed above the sink, she blinked a few times to get her eyes used to the light, then turned on the faucet to splash some water over her face.
It was refreshing and cool. Cara enjoyed the feeling of the water, closing her eyes with a deep breath. When she opened them again, she took a moment to study herself.
Dark bags hung under her eyes, a clear sign that she had been having trouble sleeping for weeks. Her cheeks were pale, and her pupils were dull with exhaustion. To put it simply, she looked absolutely horrible.
These nightmares are going to be the death of me. Cara shook her head and turned off the light, trudging back to bed. She crawled back under the covers, but all hope of going back to sleep was gone. Maybe it was because the water woke her up, or maybe it was because she didn’t want to have another strange dream.
She groaned and buried her face into her pillow. Another sleepless night.

“Fuck!”
The sound of her friend’s scream ripping through her headset made Cara wince, her fingers stuttering over her keyboard and causing her to lose focus. She watched as the Cryo Regisvine they were fighting slammed itself into the ground and killed Xinyan, Yoimiya, and Diluc at the same time. She groaned in frustration.
“We died,” her friend, Nick, said sadly.
“Yeah, no shit we died.” Her other friend, Casey, sighed. “Guess we have to try again.”
“We wouldn’t have lost if you hadn’t screamed like a banshee and caused Nick and I to get distracted,” Cara commented.
“It was an involuntary reaction!” Casey protested. “What was I supposed to do, sit there and be happy we got killed?”
“This is why we never let you take charge of boss battles.” Cara teleported to the nearest Statue of the Seven. She clicked on Yoimiya’s profile icon to heal her. “Next time, I’ll lead the boss battle.”
Casey made a small noise of protest that immediately got drowned out by Nick. “Hey, I thought you said I could choose the next boss battle.”
“We still have to defeat the Cryo Regisvine,” Cara said. “I need to ascend Kaeya to level 90.”
“And I need to ascend Noelle. The Cryo Regisvine can wait.”
“Okay, okay, before you two start arguing, let’s form a plan,” Casey cut in. “Since we’re closest to the Cryo Regisvine, let’s take that on first. After we beat that, we’ll help Nick ascend Noelle. Sounds good?”
“Yes,” Cara answered. “Sounds like the perfect plan. Nick, you in?”
Nick, ever the peacemaker, agreed. “Yeah, that’s a good plan, I guess. You always come up with the best plans, Casey.”
Cara could envision Casey puffing up with pride in her mind. “Don’t encourage her, Nick,” she laughed. “She might start to take you seriously.”
“No, no, Nick, do go on, I insist,” Casey said. “Tell Cara how much better I am at this game than she is.”
The three of them laughed. These were the times that Cara enjoyed; on a cold winter evening with nothing to do, playing Genshin Impact with her friends. Casey and Nick had convinced her to start playing over five months ago, and ever since then, she was hooked. The game was fun, with interesting lore, enjoyable characters, and fun enemies to fight. Nick and Casey had truly gotten her invested, and they joined up over Co-Op to play together every week. When Cara wasn’t playing Co-Op and had free time between her busy work-college schedule, she would spend time doing quests and leveling up her characters. To say the least, she was invested.
As they were traveling back to the Cryo Regisvine, a tingle shot through Cara’s fingers. All of a sudden, a burst of static erupted from her headset, causing her to gasp and throw it off. The screen of her computer glitched, momentarily freezing her gameplay.
The glitch ended as soon as it had begun. Cara stared at her screen, heart pounding. Hands slightly shaking, she picked up her headset and slipped it back over her head.
“Cara?” Nick called. “Are you okay?”
“We heard a loud thumping noise,” Casey said. “Did something happen?”
“I-I don’t know,” Cara replied. She clicked her mouse a few times and moved Yoimiya around. “My computer suddenly just glitched. I don’t know if it was lag, or bad internet, but it just sort of broke for a moment.”
“Is it working now?” Casey asked.
“Yeah, it seems fine.” Cara shook her head. “That was so weird. I just checked earlier to make sure my computer has no viruses. What the hell was that?”
“Maybe you should check again?” Nick suggested. “Or it could be your internet. Is something wrong with your router?”
“Let me check the connection for a moment. I’ll be right back.” Cara took off her headset and stood up. She left her bedroom and headed into the living room of her dorm. Beside the television, her internet router was hooked up. When she knelt to check on it, she saw that everything was completely normal. The router wasn’t unplugged, nor did it seem like it was having any trouble producing an internet connection.
So weird, she thought to herself. Never had she had something like this happen to her. After looking over the router one more time, she got up and went back to her bedroom.
“The router’s fine,” she said into her microphone after she sat back down. “It must have just been a glitch then. I hope it doesn’t happen again. That was absolutely terrifying.” She paused, hearing, to her surprise, nothing but silence. “Guys? Are you still there?”
No response. Cara checked to see if she was still connected to the voice chat the three of them were in. Nick and Casey were still there, unmuted. She unplugged her headset and replugged it back in. “Guys? Can you hear me?”
Her keyboard felt warm to the touch, and she noticed that strange tingle had returned to her fingers. Cara studied her computer screen, noticing, for the first time, that Nick and Casey’s characters had disappeared. The only one there was Yoimiya, and for some reason, it looked like she was deliberately staring at her through the screen. Cara felt the hair on the back of her neck stand on end; she got the distinct feeling that she was being watched.
What the hell is going on? Cara called out for her friends one more time. “Hey, guys? This isn’t funny, answer me!” My computer has to be glitching out. I should restart it.
She moved her mouse to shut Genshin Impact down. Abruptly, pain flared through her hands and shot straight up to her forehead. Her screen flickered again, more violently this time. A full roar of static rose up out of her headset. Cara fumbled to throw them off and get away from her computer but found that she couldn’t pull her eyes away from the screen. Purple and gold flashed across her face; she couldn’t think, couldn’t move, could only continue to stare in shock and horror as everything went haywire.
“Caratrice.”
The voice was coming from her computer. “Accept your godhood Caratrice. This is meant to be. It is fate.”
“Return to your creations.”
“Save Teyvat.”
And then, her vision went black. Cara had the distinct feeling of being sucked into something before she passed out.

My ramble about SAGAU, because I've got the brainrot:
You get isekaied (my favorite version tbh) into the Imposter!AU. You've read enough SAGAU fics and posts to be wary of running into anyone since you don't know which version you ended up in.
Teyvat recognizes you (and knows how everyone will react, the cheeky lil shit), so it leads you to a safe haven where you can figure out what your plan of action is, while the world's animals and monsters follow you to make sure you stay safe. I just really like the versions where the monsters and animals are the only ones to recognize you lmaooooo
You're just like "if I'm god here, I should be able to do what I want, right? Hmmmm...." *chin stroking motions*
My thought is, why not just bring back the four Yaksha, sans their karmic debt, to be your personal protectors? So you do. And before you stands Bosacius, Indarias, Bonanus, and Menogias, smiling at you in wonder and amazement. Their Creator just resurrected ***them***? Of all people???
You have them go see what's going on in the world without being seen (gotta know if people are gonna see you as an imposter or not, rip lol). You make sure to cloak their energies so the Archons and Adepti don't sense them. They return and tell you that "the Creator" is indeed in the world. Then you decide it's time to sow some fun little seeds of Chaos™.
You go out and get the people's attention as "the Imposter" (doin it gremlin style, cause that's just who I am as a person), leading to an all out manhunt for your ass. You sit and wait at Pervases small temple, your guardian Yaksha waiting in the wings, until Xiao appears, ready to spear you to non-existence. "I've been waiting for you, my dear Alatus," turning to him with a gentle smile. (:o < Xiao's face in my mind)
He feels four arms wrap him in a hug (Bosacius couldn't wait) and he's absolutely gobsmacked to see his friends and comrades, alive and breathing in front of him again after all these years, letting out a tiny sob and tears running down his face.
With the addition of the final Yaksha to your team, you search out the people you feel would recognize you as The Real One™, adding Bennett, Fischl, Razor, Albedo and Klee, Kaeya, Dainslef, Sayu, Kazuha, Itto and the rest of the Arataki gang, the Traveler (I personally like Lumine for this, even tho I use Aether) and Paimon, the ENTIRETY of Snezhnaya, and even the Abyss order (I have a separate thing behind that reason *rubs gremlin hands together and cackles*) to what was once your motley lil crew.
I don't want to spoil the ending, because I eventually want to write a full fic, but I NEEDED to get this outta my brain. There will be chaos, angst, maybe some NSFW spin offs, but mainly chaos
Tumblr media
*I'll add the cut later, cause they don't give me that option on mobile 😒*

concerns on @/alatus-world
to start this post, i am not advocating any type of hate towards this use. this was made to serve as a way to inform about the current situation and my concerns about them.
@/alatus-world, also called kiera, posted a sagau tartaglia fic around may 27 (which has now been deleted) in which i was tagged in since the work was noted to be "heavily inspired" by me. here are screenshots of the original post.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
after reading it for some time, i quickly noticed how a lot of it was extremely similar to my work (linked here). i did some comparisons, and the storyline and even some wordings were copied from my work. even the last lines were the same.
at first, i was debating whether or not to just leave it be since kiera claims not to be a native english speaker, and i understand the nuances and that come from being so. i asked for advice from other sagau writers, and they encouraged me to confront kiera about it.
i messaged kiera afterwards. in her messages, she did acknowledge that she did copy a lot of my work and even promised not to repeat doing so again. i also requested for her to delete the post since it's plagiarism, and she complied to do so. however, she did ask if she could reupload it if she changed it so it no longer resembles my work— to which i agreed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
on july 19, she posted this. it was the exact same post that i asked her to delete, only with a few sentences deleted and me no longer being tagged. this caused me to make this post about her. she's also made other works about zhongli that the sagau writers that i have approached have claimed to be sourced from other people as well, so i implore any sagau writer who's reading this right now to check if any of your works has been stolen or copied in any way.

— A COLD, ALMOST stinging gust of wind bites by your face, white noise ringing in your ears. Simply gazing among Liyue’s sea of clouds at the highest peak of Jueyun Karst is healing, yet it is lonely — almost unbearably so.
The clouds illustrate you an artisanal picture as they pass.
How stark a contrast it makes to the way you feel.
“Well, it makes fine company for now. As if I have the vanity to probe any more at peoples impressions of me…” You sighed, winds following in your favor.
You’ve been here for five days and counting, isolating yourself from the public eye.
You weren’t expecting such… ravenous attention from your own subjects — to say the least.
To think that your subjects entertained the idea of you being an imposter is quizzical — albeit, quite comical. Such discrepancies to your prophecy are unforgivable, insulting, scornful, and all else in this world that is ugly.
Yet — above all else — the love you bear for this very world is bigger than that.
Bigger than them.
Even bigger than you.
“When the main motivation…” You halt your sentence short with a sigh. One of many — well over a hundred, that’s for sure.
You repeat, “When the main motivation is fear, there is a crack in the fundamental strength…”
You held this belief close to your chest, and even closer to your heart.
It helped shape your character.
This philosophy never dared to waver — it was a fixed part of you.
That is, not until you stepped foot unto Teyvat.
How could they commit such crimes against your name? Don’t they love you?
They’re supposed to, aren’t they.
…More importantly, why aren’t you angry at them?
You’re supposed to be.
You’ve counted the tears that went unaccounted for — one by one.
So why aren’t you angry at them?
You ponder against your own conscience’s will, “What could have ever happened to a person to deal others such a hand of cruelty?”
…You’ve already come to the conclusion that Teyvat’s true beholders — your people — are not at fault.
And so, you aren’t angry at them.
You’ve seen what the imposter has done to them.
Invariably being set to do laborious bidding; from the waning of the morning star to the descent of its very mimic.
Then forced to supple themselves with the meager earnings of the Imposters company.
You aren’t angry at your people.
You’re angry at their god.
Angry at yourself.
And at the Imposter.
Human nature influenced by one so disgusting, so vile; it beckons you to question once again.
“What happened to you?”
Though millions have travailed in sorrow, angry tears decorating their face — faced with the Imposters greatness, they can’t help but submit themselves in all they are.
In any and all truth, they knew the Imposter wouldn’t lift a finger in their aid.
As if they’d believe in the significance of tears in any universe.
Conditioned to think this is what the twists of fate had set out for them, the people were deceived in the end.
Even so, you were still opposing dealers choice.
You were condemned the Joker — the Imposter with no just sanction.
The people have forsaken you.
A mirthless chuckle slips away from you as you tune back into your surroundings. A faint, constant rhythm of footsteps seeps it’s way into the safe space you’ve made for yourself.
A wavering voice cuts through the silence, the intricacies of a voice sound strange now. Almost as if it was a foreign body.
“Your Grace…?”
Recognizing his voice, you smile.
“Safe travels, Alatus?”
He scrambles to his knees, a crushing weight being lifted from the depths of his soul, “For your Lordship, I would traverse time and space. Whether or not it was safe is irrelevant.”
You turn yourself towards him, “Such nonsense…”
You’re met with no response.
You raise your hand, “You may rise.” He strikes a stiff posture — as if something had lodged him into place.
You chuckle at this, and Alatus relishes in its melody — it seems even a laugh from the creator could lessen his battle-won debt…
“Immortality would not be a burden if it was spent with you, Your Grace.”
