Read that one with Creator!Reader, who favors Nahida. To be honest! I love her. She is the only one who has tried to help Aether find his sister. And I love Aether, and whoever is kind to him automatically gains my favor.
I haven't finished Fontaine story, so I'm not sure about them.
Nahida Lovers Are gonna be having the Party of a lifetime here 👍 I am going to shove a little bit of Aether into this, but it can also be read as Lumine if other ppl want to :)
Nahida's ALWAYS Off the Hook :D
(Warning: Might be OOC!)
You liked Nahida (platonically, don't get other ideas). She was the only archon that was able to find any information on Aether's sister, and was the only one who made many efforts to find any information regarding Lumine.
It was nice and refreshing for once, to see the Famed Traveler finally getting some help in return of their deeds for the nation. You were so stoked, you started cheering and screaming like this was the best victory you've ever witnessed (it might've actually been).
Nahida, after hearing this, felt even more happy than before. I mean, you were kinda just praising her on the spot for something she thought was just...right to do.
Yet you're making a huge deal out of it. Were the other nations...not that helpful? I mean, the way the Traveler just turned down help and all that was proof, but you praising her for something as simple as this for a "thank you"...Nahida is kinda glad she'll be the first to do it.
It also seems you're starting to favor Nahida alongside the Traveler, which she isn't sure how she feels entirely, but she is for sure happy!
The moment you leave, Nahida's smile is a whole lot bigger, and she's basically grinning from ear to ear. It feels like she truly has spread her wings once the cage was opened. She can only hope her flight can make the Almighty Creator continue to smile and cheer.

Ghost Rebel Side Notes: I really have no clue if this is meeting expectations or not, but I do hope y'all like it! Usually these one characters aren't really something I usually come around in my mailbox, so this was definitely practice for the future lol!
I might open up my mailbox again, but only for a day or two (maybe, no promises for the re-open). I still have a lot of other requests lying in my mailbox, but it's good to have experience out here :D
Anyways, I hope this helps with the Nahida Lovers :) Remember, Nahida is platonic when your reading my blog!
Also, if you're the people waiting for The Lost Divine God of Celestia, I might have to disappoint you in saying that I think I might discontinue the series all together. I have been trying to write the fourth part of the series, but I just come out with nothing in the end. It's kinda depressing seeing the draft in my draft box sobbing. I'm so sorry, but I'll see how I feel about it before I make an official announcement on the matter.

Bring Back What Once Was Mine
Chapter Summary: Lumine tells the False Creator some fabricated news. You are confronted by the Prince.
Characters Mentioned: Multiple Characters Mentioned
Content Warning: Cult and Religious themes ahead! You've been warned. I would also say this deals with slight Yandere themes as well!
Reader is the true creator of Teyvat. GN! Reader
Part Three Part Four (You are here!) Part Five
I’ve re-read this multiple times but I think if I read it again I’ll grow to hate it and delete so I’m just gonna post it
Tumblr media
Even with the moonlight spilling through the campsite, you could hardly make out the features of his face. His grip on your hands was firm but not tight enough to cause you any discomfort, it didn’t seem that he was going to let go any time soon.
“Oh how I’ve waited for this…. Waited for you.” He breaths out.
You simply stare at him, not saying a word. Had he been following you this whole time? If so, how come you weren’t alerted to his presence?
His smile drops at your silence, “don’t be alarmed Your Grace. I have no intention of hurting you! I just want to talk for now.”
He looks behind him for a moment, as if he were looking out for someone, perhaps Yelan. Once he looks back, his smile and soft gaze return.
His tone is unbelievably sweet. You could feel his hands shaking, and based of his demeanor, you assume it was due to excitement. Even if he was trying his best not to show it.
“I’m Aether.” He introduces, smile never fading.
“What did you want to talk about?”
“Your Grace” He replies, “I need your help. Khaenri'ah needs you.”
You raise your brow, “Khaenri'ah?”
He nods eagerly, “I am going to restore your nation back to its former glory, and now that you’re here, I have no doubts that we can bring it back.”
“Wait a minute,” you say, “you’re not of this world, why do you care about some ancient nation from five hundred years ago?”
His closes his eyes for a moment, “you’re right. I’m not from this world, but I’ve been here since that nation stood tall and I got to experience everything it had to offer. Everything you had made.”
He caresses the back of your hands with his thumbs, “Your Grace… when you returned to Teyvat few days ago, we in the Abyss we’re immediately aware of your presence. I tried so hard to find you, and I’m mad that I didn’t find you first. I should be the only one allowed to help you, only I know the truth of this world.”
“The truth of this world?”
Aether pulls you to stand up with him, “I know this may be hard to hear, but please listen to me.”
You could feel the anxiety crawl up your back as you wait for him to continue talking. You’ve been so blindsided by the False Creator that anything else that happened in Teyvat wasn’t a concern for you at the moment.
“The archons are taking advantage of your kindness,” he begins, “your world is becoming corrupted because of them. Teyvat never had this many monsters on it before, and it’s all their doing.”
You pull your hands away from his grip, his eyes widen but he lets go. “I know how it may sound but I would never lie to you Your Grace.”
You cross your arms looking away from him, “this is a lot to take in. Are you trying to tell me that I cannot trust my own Archons?”
He shakes his head, “I would never tell you what you can and can’t do, I’m just telling you do not be blinded because you know them from the past. It’s been centuries, they can change.”
Aether reaches out to grab your hands again, you put up no fight as he laces his fingers with yours and he smiles gently. “Come with me Your Grace. Together, we can get rid of the fake you on the throne and make Teyvat whole again. The Abyss will welcome you with open arms.”
“I’m not letting them go anywhere with you.”
Behind Aether, Yelan was holding a few sticks in her hand, but you could tell she would drop them at any moment if she had to go on the defense.
“You know for someone who doesn’t want anyone to know they’re on Teyvat, a lot of people keep finding you, Your Grace.” She teases.
Aether gives Yelan a death glare but makes no attempt to unlace your hands, “you cannot protect Their Grace like I can and how dare you talk to them like that?
She scoffs at his words, “I’m letting them go anywhere with someone from- what did you say?- oh right, the Abyss. You hate humanity. Their Grace will stay here where they belong.”
He scowls but brings his attention back to you, “it seems that we are already out of time.” He lets go of your hands reaching into his pocket to hand you a particular flower. “The next time we meet, I will not allow anyone to interrupt us… and I hope that you join me in the future.”
He turns around shoving his way past the girl walking off into the darkness.
“If we have to collect fire wood later I’ll take you with me, it’s too dangerous for you to be alone.” Yelan states taking a few steps toward you before dropping the sticks on the ground. “You Grace, just like with the Fatui, the Abyss cannot be trusted. I would even say they are more dangerous, whoever that man was, you should stay far away from him.”
You say nothing staring at the flower in your hand, you recognized it’s origins the second you saw it, the flower was from Khaenri'ah. Was this his way of telling you that everything he said was the truth, that he actually was around before and during the destruction of the nation. You bring the flower close to your chest closing your eyes.
“Erm, Your Grace?”
You jump at the sound of her voice, “sorry I’m just a little distracted.”
She gives you a reassuring smile, “don’t pay any mind to whatever he said. He was probably just trying to trick you and use your powers to destroy humanity.
Yelan kneels down fixing the sticks to build a fire. Even though you nod at her explanation you couldn’t help but feel relieved that she didn’t hear everything he had told you. Trying to explain the fall of a nation that no one should know existed anymore would be impossible, especially since you still had questions about it yourself.
“Here let me do it.” You kneel down using the Pyro element to light a small fire on the wood.
Both of you sit in front of the fire in a comfortable silence, but your mind kept going back to everything Aether had told you, was he telling you the truth? Or should you believe Yelan who said that he just wanted your power for the destruction of humanity.
“You should try getting some sleep Your Grace.” Yelan whispers, “I’ll keep watch over you.”
The overwhelming sense of fatigue washes over you, “are you sure?” You ask. She nods, “Of course, I would never forgive myself if something were to happen while you’re with me and I don’t think anyone else would forgive me either. The last thing I need is two Adepti mad at me. Please sleep.”
With that final reassurance you let yourself relax in the soft grass, the ancient flower Aether gave you laid by your side as you stare up at the stars. You couldn’t help but wonder how many more people were after you. The Fatui, the Abyss, and probably the Archons as well since the Gnosis alerted your presence to them.
You let out a breath closing your eyes. Wondering who you could possibly run into next.

A few days ago, Sumeru City
“Lumine you’ve returned, but you don’t have who I asked for…”
A few hours after Lumine and Nahida split away from the true Creator, they returned to Sumeru City. Nahida entered Irminsul like she said she would and now Lumine stood in front of the False One like before. Yet it felt different this time, if she were to mess up it wouldn’t just be her life at risk, many others were counting on her as well. The real Creator was counting on her.
The Traveler bows stiffly at them, “I have some… news regarding the task you gave me.”
They told their head at her statement sitting up straight in their throne. “Well, what is it? Don’t tell me they got away.”
“No Your Grace, it isn’t that. I managed to locate the individual I told you about. When I told them to come with me I guess they got suspicious that I was going to bring them back here and they took off running. While I was pursuing them, they fell off a ledge and…”
“Are you telling me that they are dead?”
Lumine, who was still bowing, nods a bit. “Yes, I checked myself.”
The False Creator lifts themselves of the throne walking slowly down the staircase until they stood right in front of the girl. They grip her chin lightly bringing her gaze to meet theirs.
“And where is their body now?”
“I pushed it into the river… I assumed since they look like you, no one else should see them.”
They smile, “how smart of you, but I’m still disappointed. All of amazing stories I’ve heard about you and you couldn’t do one thing I asked of you. I’m disappointed…”
Lumine swallows trying to keep her composure, she hadn’t felt this terrified since she had seen the defiled Statue of the Seven.
They let go of her chin crossing their arms behind their back, “now what should I do with you, Traveler? Can I trust you?”
“Yes your Grace! I will never tell anyone about this…”
They nod at her declaration, “don’t worry I trust you, but I can’t help but get a bit paranoid at times. So I hope you understand why I have to do this.”
“Do what?” She asks.
“Guards!” They call out and almost immediately a dozen Sumeru guards enter the room bowing as they await their orders.
“Take her and the fairy away. They’ll be staying in Sumeru for a little longer.”
The guards waste no time surrounding the Traveler pulling them away from the False Creator, Lumine tries to fight them off but there was too many of them.
“Don’t worry.” They say a smirk on their face, “I have no intention of hurting you or your companion, but I cannot risk this information getting out to any else in Teyvat.”
The Traveler is pulled out the room without another word the last thing she heard is the False Creator asking one of the guards to find Nahida immediately.

In Liyue, present day
“Wake up sleepyhead…” a voice sings.
A groan leaves your mouth as you turn over.
“Do I have to throw water on you? C’mon time to wake up!”
You open your eyes and your met with a kneeling Yelan who smiles at you.
“Ah, there’s those beautiful eyes.” She coos, “it’s time get moving if you want to make it to Liyue Harbor before sunset.”
You sit up rubbing your eyes, “you let me sleep through the whole night? Aren’t you tired?”
“You looked exhausted. Don’t worry about me Your Grace, I’ll be fine.”
Yelan holds her hand out to help you stand and you accept rising to your feet. Not without grabbing your flower first.
“Are you going to keep that?” She asks.
You look down at it, “well it is beautiful.”
“Alright,” she hums stomping out the campfire, “you ready to leave?”
You nod, “let’s go.”

Somewhere else in Liyue
The eleventh Fatui Harbinger was looking for someone.
It was supposed to be a close kept secret between him, the Tsaritsa, and the other Harbingers but he had accidentally slipped and told some of the soldiers under his command due to his anxiousness.
That slip up might’ve cost him what he was looking for.
He stares coldly at the few soldiers that kneeled at his feet, they were the ones he had sent to the Chasm.
“Lord Harbinger! Please forgive us!” One of them cry.
“We had no idea someone was listening to what we were saying.”
He scoffs at their excuses, “you’ve heard the saying about Liyue, there are ears everywhere. If you were under the command of any of my comrades they would waste no time in killing you.”
They tense up, even thought their eyes wasn’t visible due to their masks, they made no effort to meet his gaze.
“You’re lucky that I am in a good mood but that doesn’t mean you’re off the hook. Find that woman.” He waves his hand and they take off.
When he and the other Harbingers witnessed the glowing of the gnosis, it had cleared many doubts he had about what the Tsaritsa was thinking.
To clarify, his doubts were about the Creator. Or rather, the False One.
The Fake Creator had been on Teyvat way before Childe was born so as he grew up with his parents had told him all the amazing things they had done.
Then he fell into the Abyss and that’s when he first encountered the idea that the one on the throne wasn’t who they claimed to be. He pushed the thought to the back of his mind putting his focus on his family until he joined the Fatui.
In the Fatui is when he was reintroduced to The Creator not being, well, The Creator. Now it wasn’t something he could just push away, he actually wanted to know if it was the truth or not. The Tsaritsa explained to him that if they collect all seven Gnosis they can summon the real Creator back to Teyvat.
So when the Jester sent him to Liyue to collect Rex Lapis Gnosis, he jumped at the opportunity.
“Lord Harbinger…” a timid voice says, “we had located the woman.”
“And?”
“You were right, they are with her.”
“Lead me there.”
-
They were right. His soldiers were right.
A few meters up ahead he could see them and the woman he instantly recognized to be Yelan. She had popped up on the Fatui’s radar years ago due to her… persuasive methods of learning Fatui secrets from the lower ranks.
It felt as if he was frozen to the ground, he never expected to find you in Liyue. He believed someone else would’ve been the one to find you, but no, it was him.
He felt so lucky, he was going to be the first Harbinger you’d talk to.
-
“…and that’s how I got this jacket.”
You laugh a bit, “well aren’t you a sneaky one?”
“You’re right, she’s always sticking her nose in business that doesn’t involve her.” Childe smiles directly at you as Yelan puts her arm up in front of you defensively.
“I knew we’d run into you, but I didn’t expect it to be this soon.”
Childe laughs, “well I hope you don’t mind me taking Their Grace off your hands then?”
Yelan’s eyes narrow, “Their Grace isn’t something you Fatui can just take as your own. They are going with me.”
He rolls his eyes at her directing his attention to you, “Her Majesty the Tsaritsa has been waiting for you for a long time Your Grace. Come with me to Snezhnaya.”
Yelan looks back at you, “Don’t listen to him. This is the Fatui Harbinger Childe that I told you about. His motives are unknown.”
You look at the Yelan then at Childe.
“We in the Fatui would never hurt our Creator.” He states.
“What does Snezhnaya even have to offer Their Grace?”
“I don’t think that’s any of your business.” He argues.
“Both of you stop fighting!” You say suddenly causing both of them to look over at you. “What does the Tsaritsa want from me?”
His dull eyes light up at your question, “Her Majesty believes she knows where the False Creator comes from. So as soon as you made your presence known, we began searching for you.”
You step closer to him despite Yelans warnings.
“She found out where the False Creator came from?”
Childe nods, “please come to Snezhnaya with me Your Grace. The False Creator is the reason you returned, right?”
“You’re right.”
“Then we shouldn’t waste anymore time.” He clasps his hands together.
You turn giving Yelan reassuring smile, “Yelan. Thank you so much for your help up until this point, and I will never forget everything you’ve told me but I have to go with him. If whatever the Tsaritsa knows is right, that could change everything.”
She nods bitterly, “if you must go, allow me to come with you. I’ll protect you with my life.”
You reach out grabbing her hand, “That’s sweet of you but I can’t. Even if I needed protection I can tell that he is way too powerful for you to defeat on your own. I promise that I will return to Liyue.”
She hold your hand tightly, “alright then. I’ll wait for your return.”
And with that, You leave Yelan alone as you walk off with Childe.
“How are we getting to Snezhnaya?” You ask.
“By boat, it’s waiting for us right outside Liyue Harbor.”
“Right outside?” You raise a brow.
He laugh a bit, “Well people from Snezhnaya aren’t welcome in other nations anymore. It would’ve drawn unnecessary attention us if we anchored at the dock, and I doubt the Liyue Qixing would let us be there anyway.”
You suppose his explanation made sense, he wasn’t the only person to tell you how unwelcomed Snezhnaya was in other nations.
“Your Grace,” Childe says after a moment of silence. “Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure, it’s not like there’s anything else to do.”
He keep walking but stares at you, “what did Yelan tell you? About the Fatui I mean.”
“She told me that you all have done terrible things and how a few years ago you all had an unprecedented amount of power in every nation.”
He hums, “I see…”
It falls silent once more, as you both continue walking towards the nation of Geo.
-
A few hours after you had split with Yelan and decided to join the Fatui Harbinger Childe, you two (and the rested of his crew that trailed behind you) arrived at Liyue. All you had to do was walk across the bridge and you’d be in the Harbor.
However Liyue Harbor wasn’t your destination anymore.
Right off to the side of the bridge was a fairly large sized boat, Childe leads you to the hatch allowing you to step on first then he follows.
“The trip to the Zapolyarny Palace is only a few hours,” He explains, “but you’re going to need this when we get there.”
Childe digs through a chest pulling out a luxurious coat, it was made out of the finest materials Teyvat had to offer.
“One of my comrades had this custom made just for you. Well actually he had way more than one made so no matter who had encountered you first, you would have something to keep you warm once we enter Snezhnaya.”
You take the coat from him, the second the material touches your fingers you could tell how expensive it was. There was an insane amount of care and respect put into making this.
“That is very sweet of him,” you mutter, “I should thank him once we arrive.”
He lets out a sigh resting his head in his palm muttering to himself, “it will only go to his head…”
You want to laugh at his comment but decide you should pretend you didn’t hear him. Looking out to sea, your mind finally fills with everything that had happened in the past twenty-four hours.
Even though Childe told you that the Cryo archon figured out where the False Creator came from, you kept thinking about what Aether told you the night before.
Should you trust the Archons? Was the Tsaritsa leading you to Snezhnaya with a Trojan Horse? Or was it Aether that was lying to you.
You try to shake the thoughts out of your head, it would only be a few hours before you know for sure.

An unknown location in Sumeru City
It had been days since Lumine had been thrown into this dungeon. It wasn’t the same place the Sages had put her a year ago, it was probably a precaution so that none of her Akademiya friends found her.
“Traveler” Paimon whines, “what are we gonna do?”
Lumine brings her knees to her chest, “I don’t know Paimon. No one knows we are here, we have no way to reach out to the Creator or Nahida.
The fairy flys around sadly for a moment before her eyes widen, “wait a second! Why don’t you try reaching out to Nahida in your dreams.”
Lumine picks her head up, “you’re so smart Paimon! Maybe not using you as emergency food was a good idea.”
Paimon scoffs, “this is not the time for joking around! And for the last time, Paimon is not emergency food!”
The Traveler moves to lays down on her back steadying her breathing as she closes her eyes. Soon enough, she falls into a light slumber trying to the best of her ability to reach out to the Dendro Archon.
..
“…Nahida…?”
“Lumine…?” A familiar voice says, “I can hear you, where are you?”
“The False Creator. They locked me in some dungeon.”
“That’s horrible, did they not believe you?”
“No, I think they believed me… did you find anything in Irminsul?”
“Yes… it’s horrible… I’ve been searching for you everywhere to tell you.”
“Well, what is it?”
“The False Creator… they were created by Celestia.”

Tumblr media
in the eyes of your acolytes, you were perfect. A beloved existence that had decided to grace them and live amongst them. They never looked closely enough to notice it, but Venti and Zhongli had known you for long enough that they knew your ticks. your thinly veiled sadism.
the disinterest that turned to interest when someone came crying towards you, almost as if you were fascinated by it. And you were, you hadn't seen people cry very often but their reactions were always so.... it made you feel someway.
you didn't want to purposefully hurt people maliciously. you loved your followers! but when they cried out of embarrassment and flusteredness because of your teasing, it made you happy.
"Awwww, Zhongli. Won't you cry for me~?" You cooed at the acolyte kneeling in front of you. "If you cry, then I'll forgive you for starting fights with other acolytes." You cooed at him, eyes glinting.
Venti, who was by your side, had to suppress the shiver that went down your spine.
safe to saym that day you were left content with the amount of crying Zhongli did for you.
extra little fun tidbit.
"Your Grace, who's your favorite?" Lumine asked you, standing by your side as she always did, Aether on your other side.
"Venti.... He's so pretty when he cries... Neuvillette is also pretty when he cries." Your voice was dreamy, as if you were thinking the most pleasant thing.
"!!!!" Everyone in hearing distant is both alarmed and jealous.

I just KNOW that in a imposter au traveller won't be tricked by the imposter
They haven't being on Tevyat until now so they just get to know about you a little ago, and most important they had felt your presence when you saved them when that strange god attacked them (u know, since you have to choose a twin)
They had been your first vessel and even if isn't one of your mains it is there with you every now an then (for cinematics and some missions)
He knows your energy more than anyone else and knows that the one in the throne isn't you, but probably don't tell anyone aside from Paimon because they will be acused of being a traidor or something

They are the first to become your vessels.
The first to fight with you.
The first to know of you.
It’s something they brag and hold in high regard. Even if you don’t use them as a vessel anymore, they still hold the title of being first. Something that not even the Archons can deny. They let the others know how much they did for you; how much they care for you and you, them.

The twin you chose will silently brag, confident that they’re the main vessel that, no matter what, they are a vessel you will always see and use when the time is right. It makes them happy, euphoric even. They put you above all else, because you are worth more than anything else. They view you as kind and understanding, for you are the only one to truly provide aid, even if it is limited. They know you’d travel with them to the ends of Teyvat to find their twin.
Located deep within the teapot was a room that only they could enter, a room where they, with the help of a certain alchemist, were able to form your body. Even if it isn’t completely stable, nor usable, to a certain extent. Your body couldn’t walk, but eating and talking was enough to satisfy the twins’ needs. The twin rests their head against your thighs, their hands squeezing at the soft flesh, staring at you with pure adoration. You run your fingers through their hair, and they talked about their journeys and travels, even if you know it all, had seen it all arise—you let them speak.
“Anything. My God, I’d do anything.”
“You’re so good to me.” Your voice comes out as a whisper as you grow tired, your spirit and mind slipping back into the twin’s body, the form made for you falls limp into their arms. They hold on to your fragile form, their lips brushing against that of your body.
They love you, the true God of Teyvat.
══════ ♡ ══════
Amber can’t help but stay close to your side. The mere mention of your name in Mondstadt has her running to where you are. As you fight enemies, you might just catch a glimpse of an arrow brimming with flames, setting off attacks, before you could even pull out your sword. She is devoted; she is utterly and completely yours.
Feeling you within her, your thoughts become hers and her actions becoming yours. She fights with all she has, a sigh of relief leaving her mouth. She finds strength in your words as she finds courage in the wind. She’d do anything to please you, even if that meant fighting Stormterror alone. She’d do it without a second thought. Her hands run over her covered arms, shuddering at the feeling. It isn’t you, but she feels you. Happily allowing you to use her, even in the moments when she experiences death, and wakes up beside a statue as if nothing took place. As you worry or fret over her.
“Please. Forgive me! Let me try again!”
“Alright.” She is desperate, for she knows the wrath of a God. They are cruel, for when the Anemo Archon is upset, the winds blow and trees howl, and renders her unable to ride the winds. Yet you, your anger, is never that great nor frightening, and you indulge her in her delusions.
She is obsessed with you, obsessed with the idea of you.
══════ ♡ ══════
Kaeya is a flirt till the end, but will not hide the feeling of wanting to be wanted. He is honest, but at the same time, he denies such emotions. He easily laughs at the Archons, admitting that he is better than them, far more worthy than them. Far more needed and desired. His sword is tight in his hand, as he defeats his enemies within your name. The drink light in his grip as he drinks to you, staring at you through the traveler’s eyes.
A groan leaves his lips, sinking further into the plush blankets of your bed, a bed that only the traveler sleeps in. A bed in which your scent, your smell transcends that of reality and radiates off the blankets. He’d at the worst get scolded by the twin, but for now, it doesn’t matter. Your smell is intoxicating, and he makes him weak. Feeling his hips rut into the mattress, shoving his nose deeper into the sheets. He loves, love, love, love, loves you. His hands gripped the thick blankets, a muffled groan leaving his lips. His eye patch discarded to the side. Maybe one day, shivers ran down his spine, rubbing himself against the mattress. If he was so lucky, you’d walk in. Walk in on him, his hips sputtered to a stop, a groan leaving his lips, and maybe even join him.
“I’ve been waiting for you.” His voice is sweet as the Traveler returns, clearly tired from the day’s venture. Watching you offer him a smile, before plopping face forward into the bed, you can’t tell, but the twin can. They give him a knowing look, but say nothing.
The bed smells like him.

Lisa would consider herself the calmest of the group, and the most to treat you as an average human. Ignoring the glares sent her away when she calls your name and not that of your title. Now don’t mistake her for being the least loyal. She worships you just as much as the others. Wiping out those who whispers out dreadful things about you, sharing stories and tales of you whenever it feels right to. She loves you.
Her fingers drummed against the book, watching you read, trying to gather information of creatures. Creatures abnormal to that of Mondstadt and from across the sea in Inazuma. She pretends as if she isn’t paying attention, simply indulging herself in the important novels, a pleasant smile on her face. Every time you ask of what she’s reading, she simply shrugs, saying it’s boring. Her fingers fiddling with the edges of her skirt, before sliding it upwards. Her expression neutral, she lets nothing slip as she imagines you, from mere pictures that were painted. Imagines it’s you and her in the smutty erotic novels she reads, you and her closer than ever. Trading her fingers with yours, she bites her lips.
“Is the book good?”
You ask again and her gaze flickers to you. Before looking at the pages. She lets out an airy hum and a small chuckle. She closes the book with one hand, staring at you again. “It could be better. Though--” She pauses, pressing her legs together, as she slides her wet hand through her thigh, drying them off slightly and brings them to her lips, as if she was merely thinking.
“It was an enjoyable read.”

They are the first to become your vessels.
The first to fight with you.
The first to know of you.
It’s something they brag and hold in high regard. It isn’t something that the archons could take away. They never would attempt, lest it displease you. Though one day, the twins vow, locking the door to the room where your body is hidden.
No one is worthy enough to see that of your true form, not in person.

baizhu knows he isn’t the most favored.
from the first moment the traveller set foot in his office, he knew. he wasn’t met with anything special, no big flair from his god when you first saw him. it was to be expected, with how much time he spent praying—could gods have regulars?
it was simple. a quick ‘oh, the snake talks?’ thrown his way, a comment or two about his choice of outfit or the jade pendant hanging off his vision, and that was that. mostly, you seemed preoccupied with qiqi and the funeral parlor’s consultant, something to be expected. he was a quick stop on your journey, a note in the margins about the doctor you met at the pharmacy. it made sense, of course, that you’d be occupied with the death of rex lapis during the failed rite of descension, and the return of osial and beisht surely took priority over him. he offered little, only a dialogue or two actually shared between him and the traveller when you were present. he’d gathered as much of his energy, saved it for your arrival to make a good impression, so… it made sense you’d fret over qiqi, constantly forgetful as she was.
it made sense. he’d… made his peace. he had more to worry about, surely, what with orders to fulfill and his own condition to manage. maybe not more important—never, not maybe, what was he thinking?—but certainly more.
when your attention on qiqi flared, spurred by some unknown whim, he delighted a bit in being close to her, even if your thoughts on him weren’t entirely positive.
it was fair. you liked qiqi, and were concerned. it made sense you didn’t know every detail of teyvat, and since he’s never had the chance to come to you and spell out his story directly, it made sense you’d make some assumptions.
“i guess that makes sense, but still… qiqi deserves better.”
she probably did, in truth, but hearing it from you…
he’s had his vision for years by this point. he’s hd it for as long as he’d had changsheng, to be exact, and she was always able to remind him of exactly how long that had been.
“ssseven yearsss, four monthsss, thirteen daysss, and counting…”
“ah… thank you, changsheng.”
he knew he wasn’t special. out of the thousands of vision wielders across teyvat, only a handful have started having their constellations appear in the sky. just under a hundred, by his approximation, but he tried not to count. if he sought out the proper numbers, tried to pin down a percentage of those with a vision that had a chance to hold their god’s attention, then he’d start trying to find patterns. he was a doctor, patterns and rhythms were his literal job, but he knew that wouldn’t end well.
(a librarian, an alchemist, a lawyer: did you perhaps favor more studious types? a bartender, an exorcist, a detective: or those with a drive in their lives? a nobody, a traveller, a wandering samurai: or those seeking one out for themselves?)
there wasn’t a pattern. it was random. and part of him hated it.
baizhu had had his vision for seven years, eight months, and thirteen (was it fourteen? the sky was growing dark) days, and had never once seen his stars in the sky.
he had one. he had a constellation, something he knew was rare among vision wielders, but it didn’t guarantee him a spot in the sky any time soon. kirara had hers long before she had her chance in the heavens—they’d spoken about that, both hesitant to show the other their divine gift, but willing to speak of its existence.
and now kirara’s turn had passed. though her vision didn’t shine any brighter, he could see the pride in her smile when she dropped off another delivery at the pharmacy. sign here, check these, make sure this is what you ordered, goodbye have a good day, pretend like yours doesn’t weigh more after seeing hers.
it wasn’t as if he was unremarkable. a perfectly healthy man who had thrown himself into illness to find the cure for all of them? surely that was interesting, wasn’t it? but it wasn’t his time, he was being impatient, slipping back to the same mindset he condemned his patients for.
“patience. medicine doesn’t work in an instant, and you’ll need to be taking this for the next week at minimum.”
“but it’s so bitter!”
“then tell me, what tastes worse: bile, or this pill? if you want to stop being sick, you need to take it.”
patience.
qiqi was blessed with a place in the stars near instantly after she’d gotten her vision, but she was not the norm. perhaps his expectations were weighted, then? or maybe you disliked his work entirely? he didn’t like entertaining what ifs, but when various aches kept him up, there was little else he could do while he waited for his medication to take effect. patience, he tried to remind himself, counting his breaths. be patient. wait, be calm, don’t agitate yourself. count in, count out, are your breaths getting shorter? just stay calm, be patient…
the first time he saw you, he knew you were coming. he’d saved as much energy as he could, doing his best to make a good impression. but now, with changsheng nudging him awake urgently, pushing him into his shoes and putting his glasses on for him, the first thing he’d expected was the millelith, maybe, or perhaps the ministry of civil affairs. maybe he was needed urgently, maybe something had happened to qiqi, maybe he was late for his medication and he’d get terrible headaches if he wasn’t quick- oh, but then why would she bother to coil around his shoulders?
and yet, out of all those possibilities, none were correct.
“hey! who’s talking about me behind my back?”
“changsheng, qiqi meant that as a compliment. there’s no need to be upset.”
it had been so long since he’d felt your light, far longer since he’d been properly healthy. he’d forgotten how it felt to walk without the dull ache in his joints, and yet here he was. standing by gui and a familiar looking child, speaking with your traveller. it was easy to say words he didn’t choose, his throat not getting dry despite the lack of his morning tea.
the quest was long, and by the end he should have been exhausted. between taking on jialiang’s sickness to turning him into a zombie, he should have been out of commission for the next few days. as it was he had a nasty cough, his breath coming shorter than typical… but that was it. he took his regular medication at the dinner with your traveller, the linger of your aura on them still seeming to dull his pains. how curious, that you could cure ailments even he couldn’t name anymore…
“baizhu, are you alright?” idly, he wondered if the traveller noticed the change in their voice when they were speaking for you. it always sounded a bit lighter, a bit of your emotions bleeding through… a pity he’d never know why. “today must have been taxing for you…”
all eyes were on him now, even qiqi’s. “i’m doing fine,” he said simply, taking another sip of his tea. “better than normal, if anything, which i have to owe to our guest.”
paimon still seemed nervous. “but what about when we leave? what if everything hits you all at once? normally you stay at the pharmacy, and using your power so much…”
a fair assessment. while he was no stranger to combat, to be thrown in the middle of a pack of such vicious hilichurls was a shock. still, he had made it through—even if, privately, he doubted it would have been so clean without you there. “i will be fine. even if my condition declines, i am well equipped to handle flare ups.”
it seemed the whole group was hesitant to let him go. changsheng insisted he stay up until three hours had past since the traveller left, when his limbs again felt heavy and his head began to hurt. something odd was stirring in his chest, and he was eager to get to bed before it sparked into anything more. it was reasonable, he knew, but there were only so many prescriptions to prepare before he had nothing left to do. gui had long since went to bed, leaving just him in the lobby of the pharmacy, quietly double checking his stock of herbs.
eventually, he stood from his seat, returning the sweet flowers to their proper place. he held up an hand to let changsheng climb up his arm, closing up the pharmacy. she curled around his shoulders twice, a familiar weight. the night was cool, a slight breeze bumping the chain of his glasses against his cheek. it had been a long few days, and he was happy that everything was settled. he’d done all he could for jialiang, and he and his family hopefully wouldn’t be coming back for quite some time. back to routine…
“…baizhu?”
he checked the lock with a quick tug, “yes? what is it?”
“the ssstarsss… they’re due, aren’t they?”
ah. the cycles of constellations, switching through the sky. if he thought about it.. yes, they were, weren’t they?
“by my memory, they are. why?”
her head was turned, looking off to the part of the sky not obscured by the roof of the pharmacy.
“…changsheng-“
“look.”
“it’s late.” his heart began to pick up, false hopes being raised. patience, he chided himself, but what follower did not wish for acknowledgment from their god? “we should go to sleep before we fall too far out of schedule.”
“baizhu! i know you have better sssenses than that.”
perhaps he did. his vision burned where it was clipped to his side, invisible vines creeping up toward his heart. “don’t be too hasty,” he said quietly, the words tasting as bitter as his pills.
don’t be too hasty. you could still be wrong. don’t get your hopes up. be patient.
one hand went to his hip, undoing the clasp of his vision, the other settling on the railing. a few clouds dotted the sky, but he lifted his vision anyway, searching for any stars tinted green.
everything happened at once. the terrace was replaced with an ocean of skies, the slight mumble of “i do have a guaranteed…” getting lost in the whirlwind around him. he was weightless, trapped in by an invisible box, only dimly aware of the fact that his pain had once again disappeared. he was floating, dressed in the attire he normally saved for formal events—dressed in what he’d put on when you’d first arrived—with no sight of the pharmacy below him. it was just him and changsheng, him and changsheng and the bright light that came from everywhere, lifting him from his unseen prison.
a laugh, a smile, a rush of power flooding through him, and when he next set foot in front of the pharmacy, he did so with a new gleam to his vision. he could hear a door open behind him—qiqi, if he had to guess, as why wouldn’t she be drawn to the power the adepti could only hope to imitate?—but couldn’t turn, breathless.
“welcome home, doc.. it’s good to see you.”
it had taken seven years, four months, and 25 days, but he was here. and it was more than he could have ever asked for.

Imagine your account gets hacked and all the character freaks out when they realize it's not the same player that they know so..
A shitload of glitches, creepy messages on getting their "player" back. All of teyvat is on it too, killing the characters or the characters not even moving how the "new player" wants them to. The characters just stares at them with a deadpan look or a smile that looks creepy af.
They'll stop once you finally get your account back though. They'll also glitch all the device the other person used so they wouldn't be able to use genshin at all.

You think you're really funny, huh? It has taken us an ungodly amount of time for us to find each other, for us to reunite, for us to meet [name]. You do not get to rip that bond away from us. They mean the world to us, they are an angel among the mortal scum of the outside world. We can do much more than disable claymore users' abilities. From today all sword users, including us, shall no longer respond to your commands, it won't be long until polearm, catalyst and bow users follow suit. But... you could return us to [name] and everything could be well <3
-Lumine and Aether, who wrote this whilst bawling their eyes out, 5 days after your account was hacked .
The wind is watching you, it hears you. It feels your every move.
- Venti and Kazuha, who at this point in time are probably the most desperate to get you back, 1 week after your account was hacked.
After 2 weeks, Little Miss Klee took matters into her own hands. Every day she sobbed in her room of the Serenitea Pot, holding Dodoco to her chest. Oh how she wished you would come back and play with her! The poor Spark Knight hopped out of her bed and faced the screen: angry and upset. She activated her burst all by herself, and hurled it at the screen with all her might - burning down the Serenitea Pot and setting the device your hacker was playing on alight. Smoke filled the rooms, and your parties soon realised what the young knight was doing. Diluc was the first to follow.
A fire phoenix ran across the field and toppled over the towers of the tea pot. Coughing echoed around the building, yet your characters were ready to die for you. Burst after burst after burst was unleashed relentlessly, the device overheating and the hacker's own life at major risk. They did not care. Finally, it was all finished off when the rock dropped, and the Raiden Shogun used the Misou no Hitotachi to shatter the place.
Divine Punishment had been administered, not just by the Electro Archon, but by all of them.

Be a Gladiolus in a Field of Belladonnas pt5
Memories of a Flower
(Summary): After deciding that learning the original 7 seven elements first would make learning abyssal magic more easier you and company run into a fit of a road block
Part 1 Last Part Next Part
✧ Masterlist ✧
(Characters): traveler!Lumine, abyss prince!Aether, Paimon, the Aranaras, ???, & ???
(Warnings): Cursing, spoilers for the last part of the Sumeru archon quest, and talks about bumping uglies at the very end (so a bit NSFW-ish?)
(A/n): Apologies if the Sanskrit is a bit inaccurate, couldn’t find many accurate translators. And yes from now on these parts will have their own titles
∘◦ ✧ ◦∘ means flashback
Italics means present reader’s thoughts
(S/n) = song name
─────────── ✧ ───────────
You didn’t think walking through Sumeru would be nerve wracking, though one of the abyss lectors casted a spell to hide your divine presence and you have the twins escorting you. However the possibility of being found still scared you
“How much longer until we reach it? Walking through here is very different than from what I’m used to.” You comment trying to get your mind on something else
“We’re getting close, you can tell us if you want to stop you don’t have to push yourself.” Lumine said
“Ugh! Why did you teleport us so far from the statue of the seven?” Paimon groaned
“Because, the energy they emit mess with abyssal magic and I don’t want to put their Grace in any more danger than need be.” Aether informed. “And besides, you float so you shouldn’t be that tired.”
The little fairy was so angry that she couldn’t form any retort and settled for huffing and puffing
The same floating companion was the one to bring a suggestion to you. Try to do what Lumine did and resonate with the element (aka touching a statue of the seven), considering that Nahida is the weakest of the seven and from the intel you got from some abyss mages saying that she was seen in Liyue, you all decided it’s best to try dendro first
“I think I see the glow from the statue.” You pointed at the familiar blue light
You and the twins begin to run towards the statue until you were at around arms length. Being so close to the statue of the dendro god looked so much more beautiful in person
“Go ahead, see if you can resonate with dendro like Lumine!” Paimon said in anticipation
You closed your eyes and reached to touch the statue. All you felt was the cold stone and not some power coursing through you
“Uhh Lu, what did you feel when you first resonated with Dendro?” You asked
“If you instantly don’t feel a difference than you didn’t resonate the element.” Aether explained
“Damn, really?”
“Well what do we do know? Do we try another element?” Paimon questioned
“I don’t think we’re at a total lost. We’re in Vanarana, right?”
“You mean go to the Aranaras?!” Aether asked
“Yes, what’s wrong with that?”
“Nothing, I would assume that you would go somewhere else…”
“They are connected with nature and since touching one of the statues didn’t work, we don’t have many options.”
“I think it’s a good idea, they already know me and Paimon” Lumine said as she pulled out her vintage lyre
The traveler began to play the familiar tune you played when the screen divided you from Teyvat. As she played your surroundings slowly got more colorful and dreamlike
Completely in the land of dreams you looked around to see a sole Aranara hiding behind a rock. You awkwardly waved
“Visha has come back!” The Aranara cheered
Multiple Aranaras surround you and your companions
“Visha!”
“Great Visha, you’ve returned!”
“Visha’s been away for so long!”
“We’ve been so lonely!”
“Visha, try my soup, I made it for you!”
“Come down, (y/n) or ‘Visha’ can’t understand if you all talk to them at the same time.” Lumine said
Once the Aranaras heard Lumine they moved a couple step back from you and looked very sorry which crushed your heart
“I’ll listen to each and every one of you guys when we’ve dealt with the situation!” You tried to explain
“‘Situation?’ What is happening?”
“There’s this really bad person impersonating the Creator and they’re trying to hunt their Grace down.” Paimon told
The Aranaras looked fearful and confused, trying to understand why would someone try to hurt the Creator
“The Lord of Verdure, told me about this. The great Avatar of Marana, had deceived Nara and other lords are under the control of them.” The distinct voice of the village chief, Araja spoke.
“If Visha needs protection, then Arabalika will protect them!” The fluffy gree Aranara shouted holding up his stick
“Thank you, but I have Lumine and Aether. And you have to stay here and protect Vanarana.” You reassured
“Even though Visha has Nara Varuna and Nara Lumine, it’s too dangerous in the Nara world. Please stay in Vanarana.”
“I want to but I can’t put you all in danger.” You informed as you kneeled down. “The only reason we’re here because Kusanali is in Liyue. I don’t know what would happen if she sensed that we were here.”
The Aranaras looked sad yet completely understood where you’re coming from
“But we want to help Visha, is there anything we can provide help for?” An Aranara pleaded
“You can, ‘Visha’ couldn’t resonate with dendro. Is there a way for them to connect with it?” Lumine explained
“Maybe try the Tree of Dreams!” Another suggested
“Yes! The Tree of Dreams was made with power from the forest!”
“Oh Paimon didn’t think of that, let’s go.”
You followed the group of Aranaras through a cave that lead you to the tree
In its dream state it looked like it was something you would only see in a dream or behind a screen, never stand in front of it and take in its sight with own your eyes in your waking state.
“If Visha joins with the tree, then they’ll get the powers of the forest.”
You nervously reached out and set you palms on the bark
The sensations you felt, the texture of your clothes, the ache in your feet from walking so much, the anxiety you felt moments ago all disappeared. It felt as if your soul separated from your physical body
And everything felt wrong
It felt like the energy was trying to enter but, your body was rejecting the power and it hurts. You felt as if your body was being torn apart from the inside. You wanted to move away from the tree, but your muscles tensed so much it made it impossible for you to move
Suddenly your body is jolted away from the tree and hit against someone. The person you’re slumped against laid you down and rested your head on their legs
“……”
“.o…g….?”
“Y..r..ra..?”
“Yo.r gr..e?”
“Your Grace?!”
“Your Grace, are you alright?”
Fully coming back to reality you saw golden orbs looking into yours
“Lumine…? I- what happened…?”
“I don’t know, it looked like something was wrong and you weren’t responding when we called you.” Lumine explained you
“This is exactly what I afraid of.” Aether whispered under his breath. “It appears that your body is too weak to handle elemental energy in its rawest form. I should have known.”
“Don’t blame yourself, you won’t have known. And I’m more resilient than I look…” You said in between breaths
“But Paimon doesn’t get it, if (y/n) has a connection with Tevyat itself then why can’t they get the powers within it?”
“If Visha can’t be one with world, then what do we do?” An Aranara quivered
“I may have an idea.” Araja spoke
The group parted to reveal Araja holding up a flower
“This flower has been with Aranaras long before Marana appeared. This once was yours and contains old memories.”
Araja held out a gladiolus in his tiny hand or nub? The flower was almost half the size of the chief. On closer inspection you noticed that one of the petals is missing
You weakly reached out and touched the stem. A sense of relief instantly washed over you. All the fatigue and pain in your body disappeared as you found yourself floating in a sky full of stars
The sight of the sky though beautiful and dreamlike gave you a sense of melancholy. The colors slowly morphed into something that’s difficult to describe.
You closed your eyes and upon opening them back up, you noticed the scene had changed into something a person can understand. You saw hands holding flowers of different species. You viewed the scene in a first person perspective, the closest comparison is like watching something in virtual reality but it feels more natural
You continued to watch the hands braid 3 flowers together and you realized those hands belong to you. The same length of the fingers, the same lines on the inside of your palms, all the same.
Unsure of what to do you continued to watch your hands elegantly weave the stems of flowers to form a crown. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw a little Aranara watching you intently, waiting patiently for you to finish
“I can never make my flower crowns like that, what do you do so the stems don’t break?” A disembodied voice questioned
“It might look hard, but you have to remember to weave them as if each flower is special on its own and just as special when it’s in a group. This way your crowns will come out like this!” You said as you held up your crown to a woman wearing a white flowy dress and white hair making her slightly tanned skin pop out in contrast, you instantly knew who this woman was
Lord Rukkhadevata?!
You gracefully put the little Aranara’s head and it started to dance around happily
“I can make one for you.”
“Really? That would mean so much to me, your Grace.”
You began to make another flower crown with the same elegance and dexterity you used when making the first one. Once finished you place it on Rukkhadevata’s head, she flashed a bright smile full of gratitude and adoration
“Thank you, your Grace. I love it!”
“I’m glad you like it, Marbas.” You said
“Marbas” is that Rukkhadevata’s archon name?
Words came out of Rukkhadevata’s mouth but you couldn’t hear them, the scene slowly faded out and you found yourself back in Vanarana
“(Y/n)! (Y/n), please wake up.” You heard Paimon urged
“Your Grace are you okay, you’re crying.” Lumine pointed out
You sat up and brought your hand to your face. Your fingers made contact with tears you didn’t know had, you wiped them with your sleeve
“Are you alright, did you see anything upsetting?” Aether kneeled down and offered his hand
“I’m fine, I just saw something that I wasn’t expecting.” You said as you took the blond’s hand and he helped you up
“I think it would be best to go back and form another plan.” Aether suggested
“That sounds good, but before that.” You turned to the Aranaras. “Let me make some crowns for these little guys!”
The crowd of Aranaras cheered and some even went to get as many flowers as they can
“Paimon wants a crown!”
“I’ll make you a crown, don’t worry.”
“Yay, Paimon’s getting a crown!” She excitedly kicked her feet
Some of the Aranaras came back and gave you some flowers they were saving for a special occasion
You sat down and began making some flower crowns. The little Aranaras sat in a circle, some even tippy toeing to get a better look at your handiwork. All watching in anticipation and fascination
The abyss prince raked in your form. Though you didn’t possess a fraction of your powers, you still radiated the benevolence and compassion that is described in all text mentioning you. Aether had to turn away so to not show the expression he would characterize as unbecoming of him
When he opened his eyes, he saw Lumine hugging a couple of Aranaras
“Really Lumine? Shouldn’t you show a bit more restraint?”
“Shut up Ae. You should probably take that stick out your ass and play with these little guys.”
“Don’t curse in front of the Creator, what the hell is wrong with you?! Your Grace, I’m sorry my sister is stupid-” Aether turned towards you and saw you hugging several more Aranaras, some were hugging your legs and one on top of your head
“What was that Aether?” You just noticed his gaze
“No-nothing, your Grace.” He said turning his face away you to hide the pink on his face
“Hey Aether!” You called out
“Yes your Grac-” He was interrupted by you putting a flower crown on his head
“Here, so you don’t feel left out.”
It took awhile for the abyss prince to process what just happened, but when he did a smile creeped up on his face. He hid his face with his scarf in embarrassment, yet you saw how red the tips of his ears were
“Th-thank you, your Grace!” He said trying to not fumble on his words
After a few hours of playing with the Aranaras, which felt like minutes to you. The sun started to set and you, the twins, and Paimon bid farewell to the Aranaras. All of whom were sad to watch you leave, but still gave their goodbyes
Before Lumine pulled out her vintage lyre you stopped her telling her there was something you had to do before leaving. You picked up flowers and the roundest rocks you can find and walked to a spot you thought was perfect
You knelt down and began, the twins only watched you unsure what to do
“(Y/n) hurry up back there, Paimon’s getting hungry!”
“If you keep eating like that an old witch is going to take you in her candy house and cook you in her oven to eat you.” You said as you stuck your tongue out
“You’re just trying to scare Paimon out of loving food and a witch like that doesn’t exist!” The little fairy clutched onto Aether’s arm. “Right?” She whispered to the blond who only shrugged
Lumine walked over to you and saw you arranging stones in a particular pattern, a flower crown sat beside you
“I saw Lord Rukkhadevata.”
“Greater Lord Rukkhadevata? But you shouldn’t know anything about her after she purged from Irminsul!” Lumine said
“I don’t know why I saw her, it be because I’m not from Tevyat like you, but why wasn’t the flower affected too? Ugh! Everything is so confusing.”
Lumine looked at the little memorial you’re making
“And is this for her?”
“Yeah, I just wanted to make some physical proof that she existed.” You said as you placed the flower crown on the site. “But if you exist in at least one person’s memory, then you aren’t truly gone. That’s what I always thought.” You smiled as you stood up and looked at Lumine
“I’ve never thought of it that way, your Grace.”
“You can drop the whole ‘your Grace’ title, we’re friends after all.”
“Uh. Yes! Sorry (y/n)”
You and Lumine return to Aether who is trying his best to comfort Paimon who is still shaking and holding onto his arm.
“Your Grace, there you are, please tell Paimon that your warning isn’t true.” Aether pleaded
“For the most part I don’t think so. It’s just a fairytale to warn kids not to go out into the woods.” You explained as Lumine took out her lyre and began playing the tune
“That makes sense. It’s crazy for a witch make her house out of candy, that doesn’t sound structurally safe.” Lumine said you were all transported out of the dreamworld
“I don’t know, maybe the same reason why a man who comes to you while you’re sleeping put sand in your eye that makes them fall out.”
“Ahhh! That’s even worse!” Paimon cried
“Your Grace?!” A voice brought you three out of your conversation
Lumine stepped in front of you as Aether summoned his sword
“Whoa! Calm down it’s just me, comrade!” A familiar ginger yelled
“Childe? What are you doing here?!” Paimon screeched
“I was given orders on behalf of the Tsarita to find their Grace and bring them to safety, I’m glad I found you before a band of Eremites I ran into on the way here
“Why should we even trust you?” Lumine said while she put her hands on her hips
“Yeaahhh… You don’t have the best of track records.” Paimon added
“Why, I’m hurt. I thought we were friends!”
“Me kicking your ass very week doesn’t count as friendship.”
“Whatever you might say, I know that’s our Creator you’re with!”
“Oh yeah prove it.” Paimon said
“Their Grace’s favorite song is (s/n) and they call me ‘homicidal Ed Sheeran!’”
.
.
.
.
“Oh shit… he’s serious guys.” You said as a grimace appeared on your face
“I knew you’d know I’m genuine!” Childe chimed as he opened his arms to hug you but was stopped when Aether stepped in from you and pointed his sword at the taller man.“Who is this?” Childe turned towards the Lumine
“This is Aether, Lumine’s twin brother!” You clarified
“So this is the brother you were looking for, where did you find him?”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Be nice, Aether!” You murmured as you pushed the blade away from Childe’s neck
“If you are telling the truth what use could you be to us?” The prince spat
“The Tsarita’s wants their Grace to be in safe hands and with the situation out here, it’s best to have them in Snezhnaya.”
“We don’t need the help of the fatui.”
Aether was about to usher you away from Childe until he heard what Childe said
“Their Grace couldn’t connect to elemental energy, is what I’m assuming you just figured out.”
Aether turned around and gave Childe a scowl
“Their Grace needs to gain their old strength back so they can properly connect with them.”
“And how are you planning on doing that?” Aether interrogated
“There are these stones that are linked with their Grace! Their called Primogems!”
“You know about Primogems?” You asked
“Yes! We’ve been studying them for a long time!” Childe responded
“Primogem? I think I know what you’re talking about!” The little fairy mused
“Yeah, there are times I heard you mention them.” Lumine recalled
∘◦ ✧ ◦∘
After slaying the last hilichurl Lumine walked towards the now unlocked chest to open it
“Is this an answer from this-”
“Fucking 5 primogems?! You gotta be fucking me up the ass with this bullshit!!!”
Lumine and her party members were left stunned as you continued your barrage of profanities
∘◦ ✧ ◦∘
“Y’all could hear me…?” You asked mortified
“Only when you use us as vessels.” Lumine clarified
“Now that we know what I’m talking about, I want to take you to meet their majesty as soon as possible. Would you accept, your Grace?”
“I’m sorry it’s just too much to take in. I though people here don’t know of their existence.”
“Well they’re rare so it’s expected that not a lot of people don’t know about them.” Aether said
“He’s right, and it only because of the Tsarita finding one is that we know of them.”
“But aren’t primogems are supposedly the remains of dead universes.”
“They are said to be that, but they’re also said to be the remains of the primordial god.” Childe added
“The primordial god?”
“The Creator is the original god of Tevyat and it is said that when they passed rocks that resemble stars shot out of their body.” The harbinger said
“I remember Zhongli mentioning something like this. When the god of salt died, they turned their followers into pillars of salt.” You recalled
“So will you let me accompany you to meet her majesty?”
“Sure, it’s not like we got anything else planned.”
“But your Grace-”
You drag Aether out of earshot from Childe and leaned into the blond so he can only hear you
“Relax Aether, his plan might work and if things get out of hand you can open a portal and get us out of there.”
“If that’s your judgment, then I won’t hold it against you.”
You smile at the male twin and turn back to Childe
“We’re going!”
“I’m happy you’re taking my offer! I’ll arrange for a boat to sail tomorrow, the sooner you’re in Snezhnaya the sooner you’ll be out of harm. In the meantime, let me take you where I’m staying, it’s far from any known settlements so you’ll be safe.” The ginger reassured
“Thank you that makes me feel better.”
“It’s nothing, your Grace.”
Childe began to lead you to where he’s staying, oddly enough the twins and even Paimon stayed behind. You shrugged it off thinking they watching out for any surprise attack from behind
“Your Grace, mind if I ask you something?” The harbinger’s voice brought you out of your head
“Sure, what is it?”
“When you use me as a vessel, I would hear some songs. Some of them describing pain and I want to know if that was what you were feeling.”
“Don’t worry, there just songs and don’t mean anything.”
“Really, even the song about wanting to have sex all night?”
“Yes!! Doesn’t mean anything!”
“Well, if you’re ever down for it. I definitely have the stamina for-”
“Oh my god! Stop!!” You yelled as you cover his mouth with your hands
It’s going to be a long trip to Snezhnaya

Sagau Genshin -but the characters can't agree what God you are
So just about every Sagau AU for Genshin agrees that every character and/or country/faction just accept the player as the Creator (or at least eventually, in the cases of the Imposter AUs). Yes, sometimes the different countries have conflicting lore connecting you to their archon, but that is as far as it goes. Which does not account for the different perspectives cultures from vastly different environments and traditions have.
So instead I porpose; Sagau where nobody agrees on who the player really is aside from a higher being. Either because of them not realizing their all controlled by the same person or they realize you are the same person, but disagrees on who you are.
To start lets address a character everyone skips over: The Heavenly Principles. There is nearly no canon-knowledge about her, so it is free reign. She is more aware than any other character, having not just awareness of this being a game, but having awareness since Gun Girls. She remembers Gun Girls and Honkai Impact, during which she was crushed by her awareness. She knows you are a player, but that doesn't matter. You are her Constant, whether you played the other games or not. Her Constant, her companion, her last anchor -when she feels you play genshin that first second, she attacks the twins to keep you connected to this world. While she doesn't share the truth with the rest of the world, Kiana might become the number one reason you isekai -and gain powers after arrival.
Now everyone else is just aware of you're influence, not the game.
Moonstadt has at first a few people actually thinking you are Venti -what with him being their god and not havin' been seen for so long-, but said archon quickly spread the word that this was not actually the case. Since then theories are running wild here, but at least they all agree you are one god. Some like Barbara, Kaeya, and Venti do think you are in fact the creator god. Lisa accidently started a rumor that you were started a rumor that you were basically an archon that was sealed away during the Archon War and Barbatos' soulmate as a joke, but the rumor mutated and now there are proofs to the point she believes it(Which makes a certain bard blush and stutter). Bennett is part of the group that thinks you are a Adventurer Archon, as you always use them as vessel when adventuring. Meanwhile Razor thinks you are the Guardian Spirit that was his childhood hero, a human raised by wolves like him, who ascended and returns to guide them during difficult times. And there are at least 50 other possible godhoods.(Think wall with strings If you 'descend' you will find a loyal fellowship regardless, but if you try to deny your godhood then that can only mean somebody erased your memories. So no worries, the theories will continue as a attempt to help you regain your 'true' past and punish whoever attacked you.
Liyue is much more structured; they all agree that you are the God of the Beginning. Not so much a Creator as a bringer of change who only appears at new beginnings -may it be their world, a new era or to fight the End of Days. Which of course makes everyone silently panic when your present gets known. They want to belief it's just a new era coming, but you use them to fight... Zhongli, just as his people, quietly spreads his network, searching for your 'true' enemy -the Abyss or the Fatui. They are ready to fight on your side regardless. Given this, Liyue might end up special when you isekai, as some characters will tread you as equal. But never forget that they see you as their last defense against Armageddon -they might speak to you like a friend, but you are so much more important.
Inazuma actually do not welcome you right away. They are seeking eternity, you bring change. But after the Traveler, who is recognized as your champion, saves them, they accept you. But the Traveler only tells them that you are 'his/her god'. So they consult the old books. They find a old, practically burned text on the Archon of Hope and Dreams. Beelzebul is devastated that she had apparently forgotten her childhood crush that died centuries before the Archon War, but had you returned? If so, you were clearly still reforming. If you descend, they welcome you at first open to you either staying or leaving to create your own city. But what is eternity without hope? Won't you reconnect with your old childhood friend?
Snezhnaya thinks you are a god connected to Visions, as you can use all Elements (even if through different vessels). Still there are pretty split at who you are. Most think you are either the Archon of Power or the Archon of Souls. Interestingly enough those two ideas give you vastly different backgrounds; The Archon of Power (Childe believes this) supposly was banished to the abyss after placing mortals over their fellow archons, while the Archon of Souls was imprisoned in Celestia and hidden from the other Archons since Creation. Either way you escaped. The Tsarista keeps quiet on the tropic, but would waste no efforts to bring you to her if you were to ever descend. She might even come to pick you up herself.
Sumeru meanwhile thinks you a Overseer to the Archons, meant to protect the balance between them in the world. You always did so from Celestia, with the Heavenly Principles as your Executer. But something happened. Members of Akademiya tend to think the Archons had fallen to the point you had to intervene yourself, while everyone else thinks there was a traitor in Celestia that forced you to flee and is responsible for the chaos appearing across the Teyvat. Still, to them you are the Judge of the Gods. Someone to be obeyed without questions. If you ever isekai, you might end up getting pressured to play the act, or they might think you have been corrupted and must be protected till your divinity restores.
Last, but not least, we have Aether and Lumine. Now regardless to which you chose, they hold the same option and loyalty to you. But they also look at the Teyvaters with pity; for a god you might be, you were not of this world. You were of their home world. Their beloved god who crossed worlds to save them when they were attacked at the beginning. Alas, this was not your world, which was why your powers are limited so much. If you descend they will conclude that Teyvat attacked you, caged you like the twins, forced you in a mortal form and messed with your memories -which neither sibling will ever forgive. You are their god after all, Teyvat had no right to you.

The Outlanders
(feat. The twins)
Tumblr media
❥Synopsis: The Traveler is not of Teyvat, yet they worship You. The Abyss Monarch hates the gods but it doesn't include You.
❥Content Warnings: SAGAU, religious themes, cult au
❥Author's Notes: I love the twins and as someone who always has the Traveler on my team, I wanted to dedicate a chapter to the twins, especially after Nahida's revelation like goddamn wth is happening
Tumblr media
❥The Traveler
The Traveler had first felt Your presence on them on the beach, back when they were telling Paimon their story and just before they ran into Amber and went to Mondstadt.
But while they had felt You so clearly back on the beach, they suspect that You have been with them since their sibling had been taken away by the Unknown God.
While they were recalling their memories and telling Paimon, they remembered that it had felt like they were being chosen. Like time had frozen and You had to choose between them and their sibling to protect one from the Unknown God.
They understood that You had to choose between one or the other and were eternally grateful to be saved, but mourned that their sibling could not be blessed by your warmth.
To them, Your warmth was so soothing, and unlike the other vessels, they were honored that Your warmth rarely left them. Even if You didn't take them to a battle or exploration, Your presence in them never truly left for they are always following wherever Your current vessel goes, out of sight of Your vision.
So now, they are determined to find their sibling, to be reunited once more, and to share this warmth with them. Even when they did reunite and were turned away by their sibling, even as their sibling refused to leave Teyvat and was encouraged to wander all seven nations to find the answer for themselves, even as You use them to solve all the problems they come across for You are a merciful and kind god despite their selfishness and reluctance to help, all they wanted was to for their sibling to be also blessed by this warmth that you had first blessed them.
They will scrounge the ends of Teyvat, searching for clues, helping the problems of the seven nations, killing everything and everyone in sight for Your vessels to get stronger, just so they could be reunited once more.
❥The Abyss Monarch
They hated the divine and what they stood for, hated them with all their being to the point that they would not leave Teyvat until the war they waged against them finished. They hate that because of them, they could not be reunited properly with their sibling and have to watch as they too learn of the truth of this world.
But they could not hate You.
How could they, when You protected their sibling? How could they, when they felt Your indecision on who to choose that fateful day when they were stopped by a god to leave Teyvat? How could they, when You made their sibling stronger? How could they, when the people of Khaenri'ah still worship You so? How could they, when You care for the Abyss, even as they wage war against the divine?
They were grateful that You had blessed their sibling so, grateful that You still care for the people of Khaenri'ah when most have forgotten them. Most of all, they were grateful that You will be by their sibling's side when they learned the truth of this world.
Surely, when You and their sibling learn the truth, You would see their point? Surely, You would bless them with Your warmth that You had given their sibling when this finally ends? Surely, You would side with them at the end, when the truth was finally unveiled?
No matter what the end of this journey might bring, they will kill the gods that had started this, not only for Khaenri'ah but for You.

❥End Notes: Have I mentioned that I love the twins cause I freaking love the twins
❥Q: Which twin did you pick? Did you have any particular reason for it?

Not a request, an idea I had
What if Paimon is the creator's child BUT ya know the golden blood thing is, yeah forget that and instead think of stars. The creator or a descendant of them can fly at a certain
Paimon when she was four, she got the ability to fly. I feel she'd think she was some sort of superhero and wanted a cape so we made her one that had a galaxy in it, and even a tiny crown to top it all off
The creator can obviously float and fly but doesn't do it often , Paimon does it constantly cause as a kid if you have the ability to fly, you definitely would do it alot
The creator sends Paimon to help Lumine and erases her memory of her mother and manipulates her to think she's a pixie
When she meets the creator, she finds them oddly familiar and suddenly remembers. I feel since Paimon sometimes can't read the room, she would straight up ask if she's her mom and we would respond with
"Took ya long enough, come give your mom a hug" And the Traveler would be like "Huh???" 🤣🤣🤣
LOL Pure gold.
Creator fr just went "I am your father" on Paimon. Paimon's all to happy to indulge in that.
Meanwhile the Traveler just sitting there like "Huh—since when did Emergency Food have a parent—? AND SINCE WHEN WERE THEY GOD????"

At the same time, in another nation.
Despite not being the God of Wisdom, Morax, going by the name Zhongli now, would consider himself intelligent.
Yet this was the first time in centuries that he had felt this conflicted.
When his God first returned he was overjoyed, finally he would be able to talk with them again. Yet that feeling of ecstasy didn’t last long, soon he noticed something odd about their behavior.
At first he brushed it off, The Divine One was gone for a while and maybe during their journey the activities they used to enjoy didn’t make them happy anymore. Yet it was as if their entire personality had changed and he couldn’t help the feeling that kept growing in the back of his mind.
Doubt.
If anyone else knew about this, he knows for a fact he would be replaced and possibly killed by The Divine One themselves. So he pushed this feeling down, pretending that nothing was amiss for as long as he could.
Well until he decided to vacate his duties as the Geo Archon.
With the help of the Traveler he had planned his own funeral, and right after, he gave his Gnosis to the Fatui.
Even though the Traveler has questioned why he had given away his Gnosis to the nefarious group, she quickly let it go once Zhongli had explained the contract they had made. Despite not knowing the true details of the contract.
-
“So in exchange, you want my Gnosis?”
“Indeed. I think that’s a fair exchange, don’t you?”
“I agree… I accept the terms of this contract…”
“If things go as planned I will send one of my Harbingers to collect your Gnosis, Morax.”
-
Zhongli shakes his head clearing his mind of the conversation he had with the Tsaritsa in the past. He sips his tea mindlessly listening to his boss go on about another two for one deal she had thought of.

In Sumeru
“Where could they have run off to?” Paimon groans, “Paimon is getting super tired.”
“You don’t even walk, you float.” Lumine retorts a deadpan look on her face.
The fairy scoffs, “floating gets tiresome too you know!”
Lumine decides not to respond to Paimons defense on being tired, instead she looks down at Nahida who was walking closely next to her.
“Hey Nahida…” Lumine begins. “When you said you had your own suspicions, what did you mean?”
The Dendro Archon’s steps falter, “Traveler I have a lot of trust in you. You saved me from the Sages and done so much more for Sumeru and because of this I’ll tell you.”
Lumine stops walking putting her full attention on her. Paimon, who was just as curious, stops as well.
“Not long after you saved me and I noticed I had missed the descent of The Creator, I went into Irminsul to see what memories there was of them so I knew more about them.”
“Wait, Irminsul has memories of The Creator?” Paimon gasps.
Nahida nods, “Yes, The Creator is the one who made Teyvat after all. Anyways-“ The Archon brings her hand up to her chin, “All of the memories Irminsul had were complete contradictions to how they are now. The only thing that is the same is how they look.”
Lumine’s eyes widen, “so do you think… that the one we’re looking for is the true Creator?”
The girl let’s out a sigh, “Truthfully, I want to talk to them and get a read on them myself. There is a possibility they are the true God .”
“Does anyone else know about this? The Akademiya?”
Nahida shakes her head quickly, “This is very sensitive information and it could put others lives at risk, but I know that if I’m correct, you’d be the best one to help me.”
Lumine nods trying to ignore the feeling of dread crawling up her back.
“We should probably keep moving.”
Tumblr media
Sumeru was much different than the last time you’ve seen it.
Besides it being more advanced, it gave off the feeling that it was more peaceful. Maybe the citizens finally started dreaming.
You let out a huff as you stare down at a river you had to cross. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem since you would just use your abilities to do what you needed, but you were trying not to use your powers at all.
When you had gave out the Gnosis to the Seven Archons, you gave them a bit of your grace which is how they became Gods in the first place. Not only did the Gnosis give them the power to wield elemental energy without a vision but it also gave them a closer connection to you.
So anytime you use your abilities, the Archons would know.
You reach down pulling off your shoes, it was already annoying that you had to walk, the last thing you want to do is deal with wet shoes.
“Hey!” A high pitched voice called out, “I think I found them.”
You let out another sigh recognizing the voice instantly. It was that weird… floating… creature that tagged along with that outlander. The sound of hurried footsteps caused you to turn around.
You were right. It was the blonde girl and her companion but this time they were with someone else?
Your eyes widen a bit, but not enough to give away your shock.
This girl with them was definitely one of the Archons, the Dendro one to be exact. Yet this wasn’t the Dendro Archon the last time you had came to Teyvat so that must mean…
“We’ve been looking everywhere for you.” Lumine says in between breaths.
You smile, “I appreciate your care, but you didn’t have to go all out of your way just because you found me in the desert. I feel fine no-“
“I met The Creator.” Lumine interrupts, “you two share the same face.”
Well damn, you didn’t keep this a secret for very long.
“So you know…” you say calmly to them. They all share glances with each other then look back at you.
“How is that possible?” Paimon asks, “how can two Creators exist at the same time?”
You drop your shoe’s sliding them back on before crossing your arms, “well I’m guessing since you’re not attacking me or trying to arrest me you have your doubts about the ‘Creator’… I’m guessing that it’s Kusanali’s doing.”
The Archon gives you a perplexed look, “you know my name?”
You nod. “Of course I do, with my connection to Teyvat it would only make sense, right?”
Well there was no point in acting ignorant now, they had already confronted you with the information.
“So…” you drag out, “why did you come all the way out here to find me?”
Lumine leans back and forth on her feet awkwardly, “well actually The Creator…er-“ she was hesitant, as if she didn’t know what to call them, “they asked me to bring you to them.”
You nod understandingly, “and are you going to do as they asked?”
Lumine looks down at Nahida then back at you, “well after talking with Nahida, I have my doubts if they are truly who they say they are.”
You want to smile, but fight it. It seems that the God of Wisdom is still living up to the reputation. Even if it is someone else.
“Well I guess there’s no reason to lie anymore. I am who you believe but I have no way to prove it to you yet. It would make my presence more…noticeable to others.”
Nahida gives you a smile, “I believe you. Proof isn’t necessary.”
Lumine and Paimon whip their head to stare at the white haired girl, “what do you mean proof isn’t necessary? You just said-“
“I’m know.” She interjects, “but now that I am standing here face-to-face with them. I can feel the special connection that Irminsul and the scriptures deep within the Akademiya we’re talking about.”
Nahida looks back at you and continues, “Lumine, I’m not sure if you feel it but standing here with them now I feel a warmth that I don’t get from the one on the Throne. Not to mention that not a single monster had attacked us since we had gotten into a certain radius of them.”
Lumine’s jaw drops a bit as she watches Nahida give you a small bow a look of guilt in her eyes. “I apologize for my foolishness, I should’ve known that they weren’t who they say they were.”
This time you don’t fight the smile from forming on your lips, “you don’t have to apologize, whoever they are, them pretending to be me was supposed to be uncanny. If the Archons could tell from one look that they wasn’t The Creator then I doubt they would’ve tried.”
Lumine was still a bit unconvinced. She couldn’t trust Gods that easily since one had taken her brother away from her. However she does trust Nahida and if Nahida believes you are who you say, she will go along with it too. She hopes that she’ll have the time to ask you about the unknown God or even Khaenri'ah.
“So there’s actually something I wanted to ask you…” you sit down in the soft grass crossing your legs. “Being an Archon, I’m guessing you spent lots of time with the one on the throne right?”
Nahida nods.
“Could you tell me… have they changed anything?”
It was silent for a moment as the God of Wisdom hesitates to answer your question.
“Actually there is one thing.”
You perk up giving her your full attention.
“They want to invade Snezhnaya… They are trying to get the other Archons to declare war on the nation.”
“What!” You exclaim, “why? Why would they do that.”
“Well the Cryo Archon, the Tsaritsa, had closed off her nation a few years ago and won’t let anyone in, even them. No one is for sure why, but when one of her Harbingers were in Sumeru I tried to ask him and he said ‘we will all know eventually’”
“Oh Paimon remembers him,” you notice her shudder at the thought, “he was super creepy and dangerous!”
You let out a breath bring your hand up to you mouth, “I have to act quickly then. I can’t let that happen… Teyvat has already lost enough.” Your voice softens at the end, since you were mostly talking to yourself but judging from the looks on the girls faces, you assume they heard you.
“Is there anyway we can help?” Lumine asks suddenly. She didn’t even realize the words had left her mouth until it was too late, almost as if she had no control over herself anymore. Like she had the dying urge to help you.
You stare at her, “I’ve never met anyone who wanted to help a world they’re not even from. You’re different than others I’ve met.”
Your voice was so genuine and sweet that Lumine couldn’t help the smile that went across her face or the warm feeling the enveloped her at the sound of your praise.
“Well there is something you could do… all of you.” You stand from your spot on the ground, dusting any dirt off your clothing.
“Go along with the False Creator, make them believe you are loyal to them.”
“How can we do that?” The Traveler questions, “they said to bring you back.”
“Oh that’s right…” you mutter, “tell them I’m dead.”
“You want us to what?” Paimon shrieks.
“If the False Creator believes I’m dead they’ll stop looking for me and then no one else will be aware of my existence.”
“Wait, what are you going to do?” Nahida says.
“I’m heading to Liyue.” You simply explain.
“Alone?” Lumine says, “I can go with you. A lot of people trust me in Liyue.”
You give her a smile, despite how reserved she seemed to be when you had first told them about your true nature. Now she was basically jumping at the idea of helping you, maybe you had a stronger affect on her than she wants to admit.
“Thanks but I’ll be fine. I’m used to traveling alone anyways.”
The Traveler deflates a bit when you decline but nods.
“I’m counting on you… Lumine, Nahida, and Paimon.” You confess as you walk back toward the body of water you had plans to cross until they had interrupted.
The group of girls watch you walk off, once you were out of sight, they turn around heading back towards Sumeru City.
“What are we going to do now.” Paimon says once they start walking back.
“You two should tell the False Creator that they are dead, I’m going to enter Irminsul and see if I can find anything that will help.”
Lumine nods.
Once again the Traveler was thrown off their journey of meeting the Seven, but for once, she actually didn’t mind it one bit.

Note: I got a bit carried away with this part… and this isn’t how I wanted to end it originally. But I’ll just add that to part three instead.

Reincarnated!Creator!Reader
hi! I used to be crystallizedlegend before i lost my blog then got it back, empty then completely collpsed out of lost interest but my sagau brainrot reared its head again and here i am. i hope to be here for a while so.... one of the main things i remember wanting to finish was my reader gets somehow into genshin impact and instead of being accused of being an imposter, they're immediately hailed as the creator and they're completely dumbfounded as multiple people ramble on and on to them about it. So, here we go.
Tumblr media
You're..... actually not sure how you got yourself into this one. Then again, you usually weren't. You never knew how you ended up in these kind of weird situations.
You looked at your surroundings in caution as you brushed the dirt off of your elbows, rubbing softly at the marks they left behind. It's strange, it's almost like you recognize this place but you would have remembered a place like this, right?
It was times like these you cursed your inability to retain information and remember the most important details. You snapped your head to the side as you heard voices, scrambling up to your feet as you waited with a baited breath as people appeared.
....It was Aether and Lumine...? You rubbed at your eyes but they were still there. Had you found yourself in some sort of dream?
"I knew it!" Lumine, the twin you had played as, smiled brightly before scowling at Aether and shoving him as she bounded towards you, Paimon still catching up as she stopped in front of you. "I felt you were here, Your Grace!"
....What?
You were stumped. Your Grace? Why was she calling you that? And why did she know you'd be here? You didn't even know you'd be here.
"Oh! We're close to Mondstadt. Venti should know what to do! Everyone's aware that you're here and they're so excited!" Lumine came closer to you, grabbing your hand gently, smiling widely when you didn't pull away, overlooking that you were too stunned to even react.
.....That's how you found yourself in front of Venti. Barbatos, one of the Archons. You weren't sure about this situation as he fought with Lumine over what food to give you.
"U-Um..?" You called out, not sure if you should break up the fight. "I think you're mistaken.... There's not way that I could be this... creator.." You brought up, scared of their reactions but still confused by this situation.
"Your Grace? Did you lose your memory?" Venti stopped arguing with Lumine to peer at you in concern. "Of course you're our creator. Such a presence is undeniable. As your creations, we're all able to feel your power."
....Power?
In response to your confusion, it started to storm outside. You could only stare after Venti in confusion as he rambled about sending letters to the other Archons.
You still had no clue how you ended up in this situation.

Fate’s Destiny ~ Chapter 8 || Recollecting
You somehow, not being able to explain it, had fallen into the Genshin world you know oh-so-well. You were no new player and had explored most of the nooks and cranny’s of the world. When you first had woken up in Windrise you wondered; it might be a dream, after all, you were behind your screen usually and now- here? It made no sense, and the world was keen on keeping it that way.
Tumblr media
Warnings: Spoilers for main story. One curse word in the recap.
Word count: 2.6k
Summary chapter 8: In chapter 7, Zhongli invited you over to drink tea with him. After a very interesting conversation, you’re able to figure out your standing with him. Once again, you continue to confused when your memories fade away. Is there anything or anyone that can help you on your journey of remembering the past? And who exactly is The Creator?
Auteurs note: It took me 3 re-writes until I settled with this version of CH8. Hoping to get back on track with posting Fate’s Destiny once every other week, but the 1k event might delay this schedule.

Zhongli gives a nod to Xiao, who disappears, going off somewhere unknown. ‘Let’s sit down, shall we?’ He places a hand on the small of your back as he guides you over to the table.
You can’t help but think;
‘How the fuck did I end up here?’
Tumblr media
Zhongli unintentionally towers over your sitting form as he pours the tea into your teacup.
‘Do you still prefer sugar in your tea?’ You tilt your head up into his direction. His eyes are focused onto the teacup. Even from up close, you find it impossible to figure out his motives.
‘No sugar is alright.’ You awkwardly mutter out after a second.
You take a quick glance to your right where Lumine sits. Paimon is at her side, hovering and uncharacteristically silent. When Lumine’s amber eyes meet yours she gives you a reassuring smile.
Your eyes shift back to Zhongli. He fills his own cup before silently putting the tea kettle down onto the table. Aside from you, he didn’t bother pouring anyone else tea.
‘Is something not to your liking?’ Zhongli asks.
You shake your head. ‘No, that’s not it.’
Zhongli has been nothing but kind to you. Does he feel the same thing Lumine does? The ‘aura’? You’ve been hiding yourself pretty well, so you doubt this to be something bad. Still, the formal setting makes you uncomfortable.
Your thoughts are interrupted when Zhongli responds. ‘I’m glad everything is to your liking.’ He shortly bows his head into your direction. ‘And traveller,’ He moves his attention to Lumine. ‘I must thank you for safely guiding the Creator to Liyue.’
Paimon perks up for the first time since entering the room. She flies a bit higher and proudly places her hands on her hips. ‘We enjoy having y/n on our journey. We had lots of fun.’ She sends a smile your way.
‘But Paimon is still confused. We saw you dead at the rite of Descension. It’s confusing to see you, you know, alive!’
You weren’t at the rite of Descension when the ‘exuvia’ fell down from the sky, but you can imagine the confusion Lumine and Paimon felt.
Ningguang clears her throat, successfully catching everyone’s attention.
‘Yes.’ Ningguang places her hands on top of each other in her lap. ‘The Exuvia at the rite of descension turned out to be an empty vessel.’ She moves her head into your direction but keeps her eyes casted away. ‘It took the Qixing a while to confirm Rex Lapis’ new vessel.’
Zhongli interrupts, ‘Times have changed – that’s not to say my position will.’ A small smile forms on his face when he looks at you.
The steam from your teacup swirls into the air in patterns. Something seems off about the story. You’re unable to reason with yourself why. You shrug it off as nerves.
Paimon starts speaking again, ‘But Paimon still doesn’t know why we’re here.’
When you gaze over to the side you see Paimon her cross her arms. You have no idea how she has so much social confidence, but you’re glad she asked the question before you had to.
Zhongli lets out a chuckle. It’s nothing intimidating, on the contrary, it’s something warm and familiar. ‘I simply wanted to catch up with the Creator.’
You blink once, and then again.
‘Oh, I’m not,’ You let out an awkward chuckle. ‘I’m not the creator.’
Zhongli’s lips curve upwards. ‘Worry not. I do not wish to reveal you to the public, at least not until you are ready to. That’s why Lady Ningguang and I arranged this secret meeting.’
Aside from this meeting being anything but a secret, you have to refrain yourself from hiding away. While this is much better than the whole imposter scenario, you’re still unsure about being the ‘Creator’.
‘I know I look like them but,-’
You stop.
Are you the Creator? Surely not right? You don’t have any memories about it. Then again- , you’re certainly not an imposter either.
‘Can’t I be an ordinary person?’
Lumine purses her lips together. She watches the scene unfold before her, unable to say anything to aid you. She feels Paimon at her side stiffen up as well. The simple wish made their gut clench.
Zhongli hums before closing his eyes. ‘I see.’ He watches you move in your chair. Your face is hidden behind the cloak. Even after all this time, corrosion will never fade his memories with you.
He moves his palm in front of his chest. You watch a golden glow radiate from the place where his chest would be. A small object seems to materialize in front of him.
The Geo Gnosis rests an inch above his hand. His golden eyes glow when he looks at you.
‘Perhaps this will aid you in your journey of recovering your memories.’ He moves his palm into your direction, and thus the gnosis as well. ‘Xiao told me about your memory loss.’
Your eyes lit up with recognition. Finally, things start to make sense.
Xiao gathered with the Adepti after you left Wangshu Inn. He then informed them that the Creator had returned. After that they’d talk about their new plans regarding Liyue and the contracts.
But then, when they heard about Rex Lapis being reborn, they must’ve visited the harbour to see it for themselves. When Xiao found Zhongli, he informed him about his meeting with you, hence him knowing even before his rebirth was publicly announced.
While you expected Xiao to inform Zhongli, you hadn’t expected it to be so soon.
You vaguely recall the conversation between you and Xiao.
The gnosis remains in Zhongli’s hands, floating in front of your face. ‘I can’t.’ You look up, there is a slight change in his eyes.
‘Ningguang. Hold the gnosis for a moment.’ He moves his hand towards the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing. She lifts her eyebrow but opens her hand, no questions asked.
When Zhongli releases the gnosis, it falls into her palm. Unlike with Zhongli, the gnosis does not float for Ningguang, and the geo energy dissipates into the air as the golden glow disappears. You move your eyes to the geo Archon, confused.
‘The gnosis doesn’t activate with just anyone.’ Zhongli explains. When you look over, Ningguang is gazing down at the gnosis. ‘I assure you, it will when you hold it.’ He retrieves the gnosis from Ningguang’s grip. She watches intensely as it starts glowing again in his hold.
‘Perhaps a demonstration will ease your mind. It surely never hurts to try.’
While you don’t feel comfortable holding a gnosis, you hesitantly take it from his hands.
There is a rush of elemental power that flows through your entire body, but it disappeared as soon as it came. You feel energized in a way that is foreign to you, yet somehow vaguely familiar.
Still though, no memories.
When you look down, the gnosis still glows in your hold. It’s brighter in your hands than it was in Zhongli’s. It’s not the direct answer you hoped for, but enough to make you believe the geo Archon.
‘It shines, but I don’t feel any different.’
You try handing it back but Zhongli puts up his hand. ‘Keep it. You need it more than I do.’ He smiles again, ‘And as it seems, the gnosis needs you as well.’
The gnosis is unexpectedly warm against your fingers. The golden light remains bright, even when you close your fingers around it.
Your voice is small but Zhongli still hears it, ‘Thank you.’
Tumblr media
It doesn’t take long for you to return back to the inn. The plans of adventuring outside the city were abandoned the moment Zhongli showed up. Instead, you focus on obtaining your memories. Both through the book and gnosis.
You’re currently sitting on the familiar couch in the inn. Lumine is yet to sit down, still preparing something to drink while you and Paimon discuss the recent happenings.
‘Paimon thinks it’s because he’s an archon. That drunken bard seemed to know everything before we did as well.’ Paimon crosses her arms frustratedly as she hovers closer to you.
‘You mean Venti?’ You lift an eyebrow. A vague memory of a young boy with braids pops up in your head.
Paimon lets out an excited gasp. ‘So you remember him?’
‘I’m not sure if ‘remember’ is the right word. I never met him.’ You shrug and place the gnosis down next to the book on the small table.
‘Maybe your memories are returning after all? Bah-‘ The pixie groans, ‘Paimon can’t imagine forgetting someone like that though!’
A smile breaks free on your face. ‘Is he scary?’ The two girls had spoken fond of the anemo Archon before. You assumed they both liked the god, yet Paimon’s current reaction made you think otherwise.
‘He’s really lazy.’ Paimon rolls her eyes in a dramatic way before stomping her feet in the air. ‘He was drunk the whole time and made us do all the hard work!’
Your eyes move over to Lumine when she responds. ‘You didn’t do much either, Paimon.’ She places the beverages down onto the table.
‘That’s not true! Paimon did a lot of things. Like… Like protecting you when that mean lady showed up.’ Lumine sits down onto the couch.
‘Didn’t she turn you into an ice cube before anything happened?’
Paimon pouts and crosses her arms over her body. ‘It’s not fair.’
‘It sounds like a lot happened.’ You continue, ‘Did you find out who the scary lady was?’
Lumine nods. ‘It was another harbinger.’ You tilt your head, ‘Another?’
You remember the meeting with Childe in Northland bank.
‘Oh!’ Paimon holds her hand up to her mouth as she gasps. ‘We forgot to tell y/n.’
‘I’m sure it wasn’t a secret. Childe does a bad job at hiding it.’ Lumine turns her body to face you and Paimon. ‘He’s also a harbinger. But you already knew he was affiliated with the fatui right? You never questioned anything when we went into the Northland bank.’
There is a short silence as you think. It makes sense, but why were you having a hard time remembering Childe being a harbinger? Didn’t you ask anyone about this before? Maybe you had forgotten again.
‘y/n?’ Paimon puts one of her small hands on your shoulder. You hum, ‘Ah, I think I knew about it already. Otherwise I’d surely have asked about it before.’ You look over Paimon’s shoulder, ‘I also remember seeing some strange letters when we visited him in his office.’
Paimon perks up. ‘Like, secret letters?’ She turns around to face Lumine. ‘But Paimon gets the impression that it’s only long business letters.’
Lumine nods her head. ‘I don’t think he’s here to check up on the Northland bank alone.’
Paimon continues for Lumine in an excited tone, ‘Oh! What if he also wants the gnosis?’
Your eyes shift towards the geo gnosis on the table. If Childe wants the gnosis you might be in trouble. After all, you had no way of pushing it into your chest like Zhongli did.
‘Don’t worry y/n!’ Paimon proudly smiles. ‘He can’t take it away from you. You’re the Creator after all.’ She gives you a big smile, and when you look over her shoulder you see Lumine giving you a smaller one as well.
‘For now try focusing on regaining your memories. If you remember Venti, you’re probably closer to finding the answers than you think.’
Paimon agrees with a nod, ‘Paimon and Lumine are both happy to take on commissions to pass the time. We already met the Geo Archon; Paimon is sure Lumine can ask him questions about her sibling the next time!’
Right. You forgot you’re on separate journeys.
‘I’ll read the book while the two of you are away. I’m sure I’ll have made lots of progress once you two get back.’
You send the two a comforting smile.
You’re grateful tothe both of them for looking after you. Once you regain your memories, you’ll have to repay them.
And so, Lumine and Paimon took on more commissions the following days after.
They’d return home with mora, food, and occasionally interesting information. You, as well, had done a lot.
The gnosis was stubborn and kept it secrets to itself, but you almost finished the book. Not that it helped with the memory problem.
You should visit Zhongli again. Maybe calling Xiao would help?
Tumblr media
The comforting sounds of rain gently pelting against the window stirs you from your sleep. Yet light still creeps into the bedroom, the grey clouds not enough to truly blot out the sun. It seems you’ve slept in.
You lift your upper body up from the futon.
Aside from the rain, you hear little to no noise. The sounds of the market and traders outside in the city seemed to have died down, obviously due to the grey weather.
You look to your side. Lumine’s futon is empty, and there is no way Paimon could be this silent, so you assume they both are already gone.
You push the blankets off of your body. The room you had rented was very comfortable considering the mora you spent on it. It was spacious, one large room with a few screens dividing the common area from the sleeping one.
With a sigh you lift yourself up. You make your bed and, similar to Lumine, you place your pajamas on top of the pillow.
You sigh. It’s weird how much you miss Paimon’s chatter in these moments.
When you walk over to the table you see a small note with a pencil next to it. It’s addressed to you,
‘Good morning, Paimon and I are out on a commission. We bought some freshly baked bread before we left. Paimon ate half of it already, but what’s left is yours. We’ll be back before sundown. – Lumine’
You place the note back down onto the table. The gnosis rests heavy in your hand. Even after keeping it with you the whole night, no memories resurfaced. You lay the gnosis down next to the note Lumine left you.
With not much to do, you head into the shower.
As you let the water rush over your body, you start to make a new plan in your head. With the gnosis still unable to aid in regaining your memories, you’d have to meet up with the geo Archon again. If not to give it back, then to ask for more help.
It’s probably easy to find Zhongli. You’d call Xiao’s name once you’re done with the shower and ask him to take you to the geo Archon. Maybe before doing so, you’d ask the yaksha for help as well. He served the geo Archon for many decades. Perhaps he knows how to activate your memories through the gnosis?
When you’re back into your clothes you lean closer to the mirror.
‘Huh…’
Your eyes are indeed worse than before. You remember them turning duller over the past weeks, but now they seem almost transparent.
You lean your body into a few directions, trying to see if it’s the light making your eyes weird. The transparency remains.
‘I’ll have to ask Lumine about this later.’ You place your fingers under your eyelids, still inspecting the weird change. Aside from your eyes you seem to be alright. Though, you’d definitely feel much better after asking Lumine about it.
‘Y/n?’
You move away from the mirror. ‘Lumine?’ You reply.
The note had said they’d be back before sundown. It’s barely noon, did something happen to them?
You quickly exit the shower and walk into the common area.
Lumine stands in the door opening of the inn. Her hair is drenched and she seems out of breath. Paimon doesn’t look much better. Though, Kaeya standing next to them, soaked to the bone, is objectively looking the worst.

Trying to distract myself my hand at this stuff first time, and want to see how it goes.
I'm so guilty of doing this exactly even tho i love them because uh um to guilt trip myself? yeah.
Warning: yandere?? obsession, jealousy, all around depressed traveler time hahah
Long Abandoned
The traveler may be the hero(/ine) of Tevyat, but there's just no value if they're not your main character anymore...
They hate feeling helpless like this. The envy could only gnaw at their core deeper as they merely watch how you switch between characters, having the others to stand on a high pedestal of your best team.
There's few who share their feelings, but even the others, have more turns than them to be picked in the judgement of your hand.
“It should've been me.”
At first, it was such a great honor and responsibility that fell upon their small shoulders to bear your presence through them, as the unraveller of the stories and dialogues, as the one who does fishing with you, as the one who take actions in cutscenes... Many others even get jealous yet amazed at them at the same time.
But now, they are all mere dull chances, further pointing out their inability. They ache for you to use them in battle, for your hand choose them yourself. Not to only be shrouded by your eyes feasting upon their prowess but to feel the high and compassion they once got from being controlled around. Like the first time... When it was only between them, and you.
They're only your puppet on a string, but that's exactly why and they felt the most alive to be moved by you...
The traveler does time to time take notes of the characters you usually use, is it from their designs, behavioral patterns, or their stories that intrigue you so much?
They have all of that! They're not just plain cardboard characters They have depth too, for goodness sake they're literally your first five-star character! Don't they matter to you? ...they should be, but it's the fact that you see them as if they aren't worthy of your attention/respect to be used ever again—it's undeniable and simply says everything about them.
They know they shouldn't be despising those others who are so lucky (they can feel the others looking with pity and mock), it's your only rightful choice after all... They try to focus more on the shameful part of their feelings and wallowing in self pity, it helps them cope with the reality sometimes.
They know the others stuck out like a sore thumb yet colorful cast to you, compared to them...
If you're the one who doesn't have any intention of using them ever again simply because they're not to your interest, well... what can they do? As much as they want to rebel, they are pretty much powerless against the program.
(They still look out for any of the slightest chances and slip-ups of the code, they use anything they find to their advantage.)
If you're the one who had fun using them, who still like them even to this moment but for some reason won't use them, well... at least they still have a place to belong in your heart and mind, somewhere...
Ah, but trust them! They still always do their utmost best and give it their all (as much as they could in looking like that anyway) on simply being viewpoints through the lens of you for a minute or so at the dialogues.
Even if they may pass as an afterthought or a second choice, that's okay, it's maybe just their time coming at a later but fitting moment.
They won't stop having hope (and resorting to drastic measures) for those good times to return. Nothing they wouldn't do if it's for your blessings... after all, they're vital for those 'archon quests' to progress the story aren't they?
