Nancy nods again, her face soft. “Yeah - there’s a guy out there somewhere who’d be beyond lucky to have you.”
She squeezes Robin’s wrist then, gently, her face sincere as she meets her gaze.
And suddenly, Robin can’t bear it. Maybe it’s the booze that’s still in her system, or the sound of Whitney Houston drifting in from the yard, or the fading adrenaline from trying to bang the door down. Or, maybe none of these things are true at all. Maybe, it’s just that Nancy looks really beautiful, despite everything, and she’s close enough that Robin can smell her strawberry shampoo, and it’s easy to forget that there’s a world outside of this bathroom, even if just for a moment. All she knows is that it’s just too much -
And then Robin is closing the minute amount of space between them, grabbing Nancy gently by the back of her neck, and pulling her forward, pressing her lips hard against Nancy’s.
Nancy lets out a squeak of surprise, but doesn’t pull away. It’s terrifying, and incredible. It’s even more incredible when Robin feels Nancy relax, and oh God, she’s kissing her back.

This incredible fanart was made by a mutual of mine (@/Timevortexgirl on Twitter & @/monochromevortex on IG). It was inspired by a scene from my Ronance fanfic, what doesn’t kill me (makes me want you more) on ao3. Make sure to follow her and give her art some love, and check out the fic, if interested!

robin loves horror movies and even though nancy isn’t a fan, they watch them together anyway (she likes how nancy hides her head in her neck when there’s a jumpscare). one night, she makes nancy watch alien with her (this is robin's first time rewatching the movie since dating nancy) and when sigourney weaver comes on screen with guns blazing she just looks between the screen and nancy with her mouth open like "oh my god i'm dating ripley"

obsessed with modern day ronance where robin works at a record store and nancy works at a bookstore.
everyday, on robin’s lunch break, she goes across the street to look at the books (and totally not for the sole purpose of flirting with the cute employee there)

This one's for @bus-ghoul, @utterfailure, @au79burger, and @extrastrengthvirgin, who all requested a follow-up to the prompt from earlier in the week with Robin and Nancy at the library. So here's some more of that!
When Robin skids to a stop in front of Nancy’s study carrel, Nancy snaps the index card she’s been scribbling notes on back into its little plastic box and gets to her feet.
“What took you so long?” She starts gathering up the books she’s taking with her, then stops and turns to look at Robin again, more critically this time. “Were they closed?”
Robin can’t believe how pretty Nancy looks with her brow furrowed and her lips bent in a little frown. Robin wants to kiss the vertical line between her eyebrows, and the thought occurs to her in an almost hysterical rush that Nancy might want that, too. Nancy, who talked her up so much that all her friends thought Robin was her date.
“Robin?”
“Uh . . . what?” Robin croaks. Some part of her is still repeating that word to herself—date date date.
“My coffee?” Nancy prompts.
“Oh!” Date! Date! Date! “Right, yes.”
Nancy’s frown only deepens. “Yes . . . they were closed?”
“No,” Robin says. Technically, she realizes, she’s already gone on a date with Nancy, even if she didn’t realize it. She’s been on a date with Nancy Wheeler! She wants to laugh, but tamps it down. “Sorry, it’s been a weird morning. What were we talking about?”
Nancy narrows her eyes at Robin. “Are you OK?”
“Definitely not!” Robin admits cheerfully, earning her another shush from somewhere nearby. “But it’s fine, don’t even worry about it!”
Because the thing is, if she’s already been on a date with Nancy, then that really takes all the pressure off asking her out. She doesn’t have to wonder whether Nancy likes her back, or if she’ll deign to be seen with her in public, because she already knows the answer.
Somehow, her reassurances don’t seem to set Nancy at ease. “Is this about earlier?” Nancy asks warily. “Because I know I shouldn’t have snapped at you, it’s just midterms and everything, and—”
Robin waves a hand. “You don’t have to make excuses. I get it. Things are hectic, and here I am making a mess of everything while you’re just trying to finish up your papers.”
“You don’t—” Nancy begins to protest, and it’s sweet of her, really, to try and defend Robin, even if she was the one casting aspersions a little while ago.
“Oh, no, trust me. I’m definitely good at screwing things up. Like, the other day, this pretty girl asked me out and, like a complete and utter bonehead, I didn’t even realize it was a date, so I spent the entire night talking to someone else when I could have been hanging out with her.”
Nancy has gone very still. She’s looking at Robin with a cautious expression—almost, Robin thinks, hopeful.
“And you wanna know the crazy thing?” she goes on. “I’ve had a crush on this girl for ages. So, like, her asking me out was almost too good to be true, you know what I mean? I guess that’s why I didn’t realize what was happening. Like, never in a million years did I ever expect her to see me that way, so when she did, it just didn’t even occur to me I could be so lucky.”
“I thought it was pretty obvious,” Nancy says primly, a blush rising to her cheeks, “but I guess I could have been clearer.”
Robin laughs. “It’s all right, I think I get it now.”

I just read Rebel Robin and I find it quite funny how Robin says in the book that Molly Ringwald's hair reminds her of Tammy Thompson and then goes on to like a girl who looks like this.

Robin has a ginger thing confirmed. Nancy is dying her hair as we speak.

You Stole my Money Honey
Tumblr media
Title - You Stole my Money Honey
This is my contribution to the @strangerthingsreversebigbang Written for @karadanverss their beautiful art and fun prompt was inspire by the TV series Imposters.
Word count - 11700
Archive warning - No archive warning applies
Rating - Explicit
Pairings - Jonathan Byers/Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington/Nancy Wheeler, Robin Buckley/Nancy Wheeler
Tags - Marriage, fake marriage, con artist, blackmail, theft, Vaginal sex, oral, orgasms
Summary - Nancy Wheeler was a con artist. She went by many names, Ruth, Natalia, Chloe, all figments of her imagination. Not a single fact about her life was true and yet she was still able to make people fall in love with her. Maybe it was her natural magnetism or she was just a really good actor. It didn’t matter. What mattered was the fact she kept marrying over and over and leaving her spouse with an empty bed and an empty bank account. But her past was about to catch up with her when three of her marks decided to team up and chase her down.

So a lot of people who come across ronance think like “sure yeah I could see Robin having feelings for Nancy but it’s most likely unrequited love “
But that is such bull shit
There’s no way Nancy didn’t fall in love with Robin.
Robin communicates with her, try’s so very very hard to be clear about everything which neither Steve, who didn’t even ask why Jonathan was over and instead publicly slut shamed her, Jonathan who has been repeatedly lying about college, her parents who barely speak to eachother, and her brother who she only ever argues with, have ever done. But then there’s Robin wanting “to be sure, that [she] knew”
Nancy who has been saying since season 1 that she doesn’t want to fit the expectations society gives her. That she wants to do what she wants, what makes her happy. And then she meets Robin. This girl who wears whatever she wants, doesn’t get with the “perfect” guy despite everyone pressuring her to do so (the exact reason why is unbeknownst to Nancy) Robin who seems to give no shits what most people think. Who is constantly ripping apart societal expectations, something Nancy wants to do too
Robin who stood up to the professor accusing him of misogyny, something season 3 Nancy had been constantly struggling with. Robin who in a few hours of knowing her showed more understand of her struggles and validation of them more than Steve or Jonathan ever have.
Robin who at first seemed to be doubting Nancy but in reality was shocked that Nancy hadn’t had this incredibly reliable and thought out plan or lead (which turned out to be right in the end) Robin assumed Nancy was right from the beginning and it wasn’t until Nancy had doubt in herself that Robin thought maybe this time she may have been wrong. Robin called Nancy a genius once they left the library, but with Jonathan, Nancy had said to him that she “looks forward to [him] not doubting her next time” but guess who was there the next time not doubting her? Robin
Robin who despite her being seemingly different in every way possible to Nancy, bounced off of Nancy’s ideas. They worked the same problem at different angles until they met each other in the middle. Robin who brought a perspective Nancy had been missing. Their intelligence finally finding someone to match.
Robin who Nancy so frequently worried about, trying to reassure her, holding her hand, her voice gentle, her words a promise, her face soft
Robin who she had become so fond of. Her clumsy-ness although at times concerning becoming endearing.
Robin who she had wrote an article about for her brilliance. (This is an article Nancy wrote which was handed out at Stranger things Experience so it is real and not fan made)
Tumblr media
The real Robin she “adored” seeing come out
The Robin she wanted so badly to be friends with that she had to make sure it was official
Robin who she choose to pair with in Creels house, car rides, and to visit Penshurst
Nancy, who looked like this because of Robin

Nancy Wheeler is head over heels for Robin Buckley, if you don’t believe me just ask Natalia.

the thing is, Nancy would never make the first move with Robin. She was decisive with Steve but hesitant; indecisive with Jonathan but reassured by his confirmation of her feelings. But this? This is new. Her mom’s Cosmo didn’t prepare her for this; there was no article titled “11 New Ways To Tell Your Ex’s Best Friend You’ve Been Fantasizing About Her Mouth!” When Nancy realizes she has feelings for Robin, she would basically decide to take them to her grave—it’s too complicated, too overwhelming.
So Robin’s going to be gentle with her. Coax her out of her little hiding spots, get her to open up when it’s just the two of them, whisper little jokes about Steve or the kids in Nancy’s ear (and conveniently have to brush some of her hair out of the way to do it). When Robin comes out to Nancy, Nancy’s going to be TOO calm about it. Calm enough that Robin can tell she’s absolutely losing her shit, coming unglued at the seams on the inside.
And when Nancy pulls into Robin’s driveway, dropping her off late for the fourth night in a row, and shuts off the car engine? Robin settles in, waiting for Nancy to talk when she’s ready. Robin listens to her chatter about classes, about college, about the kids, about books, about everything, and when there’s finally a lull in the conversation, Robin listens to that too. Nancy breaks it, finally, with a rough whisper: “Robin? What’s it like? To kiss a girl?”

HELP!
My girlfriend is looking for a fic based on very little info she remembers, so rip us.
Okay, so this is a Nancy Wheeler/Robin Buckley enemies to friends to lovers, where Robin and Steve are working at the video store in a no-upside down Hawkins. The first scene is of Nancy coming into the store and being annoyed by Robin’s presence. Apparently there are illustration in the fic as well? One of them is of a cafe, where someone is looking outwards? Oh and I think Nancy is in a relationship with Jonathan at the start of the fic and leaves him over the phone, and goes to Robin (maybe?).
That’s really all I’ve got rip. Thanks in advance!
