I SECOND THISSS⬆️ i read the fic it was just too cute i loooooove the tang bo introspective and hes such a cool character to read about in third person povs, sometimes even moreso than chung myung.. their close physical casual intimacy displayed in this fic that toes the line of romanticism yet doesnt breach it but is still clearly something nameless that, regardless, is full and swelling with adoration and devotion took my breath away.. i love when friendships turn romantic with little to no fanfare.. no drama..no tearful outbursts or intense confessions.. just hanging out w ur friend and thinking ‘i could spend the rest of my life with you and never get bored’ and so you do……

tired and pissed so I'm ranting lol
I was staffed today and when ur staffed u can't leave till closing is done, as opposed to on call where you can leave when you aren't needed, regardless if chores are done or not. So I did literally all of closing by myself, its a gigantic building and closing is usually done by 2-3 people.
Some of what I did was sweep, mop, and vacuum the entire building. And keep in mind this buildings huge and most of its tile, except for the upstairs which is rubber floor that gets vacuumed. So I basically cleaned both floors entirely, did everything for the bathrooms on my own, organized both the office and the makeup room, cleaned all the windows (of which there are a lot), took out all the trashes then went outside in the dark on my own to the dumpster, wiped down everything that you can imagine needs wiped down (chairs, couches, tables, etc) then after doing literally every fucking task on the closing chart I go upstairs exhausted, and ask "can i go home?"
and my manager has the audacity to tell me "No, theres still deep clean from earlier to do" and also!!!!!! I did most of deep clean too!! I literally did the chores of like 3 people all on my own and when I asked "can I please go home?" they told me to go and do more chores.
btw. there were people who could've helped me, but they were on call and just left, while the only other person who could've helped even a little sat upstairs and ate mcdonalds. Only after I said "man. I've done literally everything on the checklist, can you guys please put away makeup and vacuum the office?" did they say I could leave.
Literally so tired from standing on my feet all day, cleaning for like 3 hours straight and dealing with the general public.

a/n: i don’t know a super lot about omegaverse but i’ll give this a shot ( i had to do some research so i’m not 100% sure this won’t be cliche af )- also not my gif i got it off google bc i couldn’t find one i liked here. words in bold & italic are flashback. ALL CHARACTERS ARE 18+ i didn’t really write the nsfw part for it mainly bc i don’t fully understand how the omegaverse smut works
Contrary to popular belief, you aren’t dating Sakusa, regardless of the way his scent clung to you. The two of you had been friends since you were in diapers and had always been close. You were one of the few who never treated him differently for his phobia and respected it from the get go, that’s just how he is in your eyes. Over the years he became comfortable with physical touch as long as it was you, something about your germs practically being his germs at this point.
Because of this it wasn’t odd to walk around with his scent lingering on you from a hug that morning when he picked you up or seeing his jacket hanging from your frame drenched in his scent. People tended to just assume the two of you were together and neither of you denied it, not really seeing the point, but this made alphas give you a pretty wide birth. Sakusa may not be the most intimidating looking to most people, but everyone knew that wasn’t the case. They’d seen him in action when you both were younger and another alpha cornered you. He had broken the others nose that day, not seeming to care about germs when it came to protecting you.
So when you showed up to school with another alphas scent on you, everyone was shocked and worried. You had seen Bokuto earlier that day on the train and he’s a pretty touchy alpha so you’re used to his scent, not realizing his heavy scent was clinging to you so badly. Realistically you should have realized because he had scented you before Akaashi had reminded him that you were not his omega so it was very rude to do.
“But y/n smells so good,” he had pouted, lifting his head from your neck with a frown. “Plus they don’t have an alpha, someone should scent them so creeps don’t bug them!”
“You’re the one acting like a creepy alpha right now,” Akaashi snorted, his fingers ghosting over the mating mark the other man had left on his throat. “Just because I’m okay with you scenting our friends doesn’t mean our friends are okay with being scented.”
“It’s okay! Bokuto don’t cry, you’re not a creepy alpha!”
Needless to say, you were confused about the stares you were getting. Halfway through the day you grew tired of it, making your way to your usual lunch spot with a huff. You plopped down beside Sakusa without a second thought, oblivious to the way his hand tightened around his chopsticks as you started ranting about people being weirder than usual today.
“And everyone’s just looking at me like I’ve done the worst thing in the world! I don’t get it I haven’t done anything wrong-”
“Who scented you?” he cut you off, his food long forgotten as Bokuto’s scent filled his senses.
“Bokuto from Fukorodani,” you answered, looking at him curiously. “Just because I smell like an alpha isn’t a good enough reason for them to stare.”
“You’ve came to school with my scent on you almost daily for years, they think we’re dating and you show up smelling like another alpha, think about that,” he huffed, getting up and throwing his backpack over his shoulder.
“Where are you going?” you asked, putting down your chopsticks. “Lunch isn’t over for another thirty minutes and you didn’t even finish eating.”
“Lost my appetite.”

As the two of you walked home together, he made a point to put his jacket around you to try to muffle the others scent. By the time you got to your house, he was starting to act weird.
“Are you okay Kiyoomi?”
“Are your parents home?” he asked instead of replying, glancing down at you.
“No there in America for a few weeks, you know that,” you replied, tilting your head in confusion.
Instead of answering, he just let himself into your home and pulled you along with him. He moved to your room, shutting the door behind him and removing his bag wordlessly. He tossed you your towel, an indication you needed to shower before he touched you. You rolled your eyes but went to shower anyways, knowing he hated touching you when you’d been surrounded by people all day.
“Why the fuck do you still smell like him?” he muttered under his breath when you walked into the room, his hands moving to your hips and pulling you closer. “Can I scent you? This smells pissing me off.”
At the nod of your head, his dipped down to your neck, his nose brushing against you lightly. You shivered, the feeling different to when Bokuto scented you. Sakusa growled against your neck, his lips meeting the skin. Your hands moved to his shoulder, stumbling a bit in surprise.
He wrapped his hands fully around your waist, picking you up and moving the two of you to your bed without removing his face. As your back hit the bed your eyes met his, your breath hitching at the dark look in his eyes. He leaned over you, his nose brushing yours as you stared at each other.
“Can I kiss you?”
You nodded again, feeling like you couldn’t form words at the moment. As soon as he had consent, his lips were on yours and his body was finding a comfortable place between your legs. You let out a moan at the feeling of his body pressed against yours, eliciting a low growl from him. You were so absorbed in the feeling of his lips against yours you didn’t pick up on how mad he was getting.
“Seriously why the fuck do you still smell like him,” he scoffed as he pulled back, “if I didn’t know any better I’d say he fucked you, but he has a mate so how the hell did he get this much of his scent on you?”
“Are you jealous?” you asked, starting to piece everything together. Why he never wanted to discount the rumors, the way he would hold your hand even in public, the little looks he sent passing alphas. The fact that he just kissed you.
“So what if I am, you shouldn’t smell like him.”
“Then make me smell like you.”
No sooner had the words left your mouth than his hands were removing your shirt and his lips were moving down your chest.

Atsumu
The first thing that comes out of his mouth upon seeing you are the frames sitting on your face, much to your dislike.
Very light teasing, with some sickeningly sweet compliments in there as he lightly caresses your arm.
“Woooow (y/n)-chan never seen yer glasses before. Why were yah hiding these beauties from me?”
You just slap his hand away, covering your face from his view and he just quirks an eyebrow, a little confused at first. It definitely catches him off guard.
But he’s not thaaaat dumb, he pieces it altogether like a puzzle and smirks slightly.
Atsumu is not one to sugarcoat though, no he likes to have fun.
So when you feel his rough hands on top of yours, applying pressure making them go down, you didn’t even have a chance to pull them back up.
Not when he suddenly snatches your frames and put them on his face, imitating those “cool” and “stoic” anime characters who wear glasses. The lenses even had that white shadow on them and you couldn’t help but giggle.

Atsumu continues to flaunt off himself in your glasses, being his usual playful self while also taking advantage in hopes to lift your spirits.
“See? If I can look this good, i’m sure yah look even better babe”
Osamu
Stares. A lot.
He’s quite the observant fellow, he’ll steal some glances and let his gaze linger upon your features adorned by the foreign frames.
“There’s something different about her face today. No, her in general. It’s the glasses” He would think to himself.
When you two are together he’ll be straight forward about. He’ll drop the question out of nowhere and it catches you off guard.
“Why are you so insecure about your glasses?” You practically jump and just freeze after he asks. He deadpans you.
Stuttering, you answer his query with noticeable low-self esteem tones that Osamu of course picks up. He only stares at your face more intently after you finish talking. Face growing red, you practically slap your hands over your face to cover them. Until the silver-haired speaks up again.
“But yah look fine so I don’t think yah should be coverin’ yer face.” And then he just walks away, leaving you in awe.
If you’re not so satisfied with his response, don’t worry. When you two are home and alone he’ll personally ask you to keep your glasses on the whole time. Why? Because he thinks you look gorgeous in them, regardless of what you think. And your heart warms when he brings you close to him in his arms while laying down on the couch.
However, you both realize that cuddling with glasses is a struggle. Smacking Osamu’s bicep since he failed to realize he was bending your glasses out of shape when he smushed them against his broad chest.
Akaashi
Like Osamu, will stare and observe you.
Other than the fact that he thinks you look adorable in your frames, he notices the little tactics you haven’t done before. Like lightly covering your face at times, you tend to reposition your glasses many times, etc.
He will gently approach you about it. He won’t pick at it, he won’t force you to answer.
“Hey (y/n), something on your mind today?”
The way he speaks, the way his adoration for you dances around in those dark, beautiful eyes of his. It makes you comfortable to tell him your insecurities. He intently listens of course.
Afterwards, he will just smile lightly at you. He tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear and leans into whisper into it.
“You look beautiful no matter what, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise”
And you just knew he meant it. It wasn’t like when he would praise the depressed Bokuto just so he could play at his best again. It was a different type of genuine and you smiled with a tinge of pink adorning your cheeks.
Akaashi wished he had his phone on him to snap a photo because you looked to cute in that moment.
Sadly he didn’t, but he was content with just holding your hand and going on with the day, a new profound smile and confidence found in you.

Alvaro Garcia Valladares
he has a twin. i don't make the rules, but he has a twin.
he has a big family. the biggest family. we’re talking, his mom has 8 siblings and his dad has 9 and there’s a 10 year age gap between him and his oldest sibling and he loves them all so much
natia is his best friend. i repeat, NATIA IS HIS BEST FRIEND!!!!
he’s also quite close with kiki. Natia and Kiki are the only two that he met before their great space adventure
he wasn't really sure of his sexuality at first. (i say this because i wasn't sure of my sexuality at first - im bi btw - and all the media i saw told me that any lgbt+ character was 100% sure of their sexuality form the day they were born, which made me doubt myself bc i didn't figure it out till recently, so i wanna see that in some media!! sometime!!) he probably figured it out halfway through having a crush on someone
the someone is akio, and he definitely tells Natia about it first

GUARANTEE that the first time he saw Akio he just basically wanted to fight him but also flirt with him and had a slight moral crisis and ended up doing nothing

yet despite that he’s still insecure, and those insecurities prevent him from really getting together w akio until much later
he comes off as very suave and extroverted when you first meet him, but underneath it all, he’s actually really warm, personable and funny: not that anyone outside the team know that

probably alvaro’s soulmate. already mentioned this, but it needs reiteration. they are best friends

she has a silent bravery about her that no one else can match. despite her trepidation, natia will always do what has to be done for the greater good.
she is guided by her heart and her morals, and is easily the kindest person on the team

kind of standoffish. she’s not really about being nice, she's about getting the job done, and that can rub people the wrong way, since she is always the first to offer up the cold, logical solution
but underneath that, she’s just a computer science nerd who is loyal to a fault
she really is loyal. its almost dangerous sometimes, because she would put the universe in danger to save her friends, which actually comes into conflict with her typical cold, logical approach.
she has 0-1 sibling. she's every bit the single child. she cannot relate to living in a big family setting, and at first its hard for her to deal with before she warms up to everyone else on the team
she's a genius, and thus found school to be tedious. in fact, she got fairly bad grades, as she wouldn't do the work that she saw as pointless and boring
she is a meme connoisseur, and loves to quote vines, often assisted by alvaro

she was friends w natia and alvaro from before, but it is akio she becomes closest with the fastest. in some ways, she feels more distant from natia/alvaro bc of how close they are with each other and bc all of them have known each other for so long while akio is someone she got to know recently: he has no preconceptions about who she used to be, and she has none about him
plus, she and akio relate on many levels: both trans, both gay, both autistic, both theorists, and both loyal to a fault. she finds a real blood brother in akio :D
