Hi!!
Here's two pages of sketchy drawings of Queen River and baby Bowser bonding I did for @raysbrainrot! I loved drawing it, thank you very much!!
(Here's my commission info btw!)
Also, here's a few points that I think are nice to say but didn't fit in the drawings :''v (I have so many thoughts of them hepl 🧍)
-Queen River tried to sew a bib for baby Bowser bc he was drooling everywhere and of course she could buy them the nicest bibs in the whole kingdom and all- but she wanted for it to be special. She knew that many koopa mothers usually made clothes (only when needed because koopas don't really use clothes but babies sometimes need them) or accessories for their koopalings, so she tried that too.
>Thing is, she's much bigger compared to her own baby, and she struggled a lot to sew Bowser's name on the tiny cloth, she used no more than five stitches for each letter and even then she didn't account for the space needed, so all she could put there was 'BOWS' with a crooked S.
>She was embarrassed as hell when Kamek asked what was it that had her so upset and she showed him the sewn bib while he looked at it and she covered her face in shame, he started to laugh- and then the drawing happened and that.
>Kamek started almost always dressing baby Bowser in that bib, and soon the nickname 'Bows' stuck for a while, until the queen died and from then on Kamek started calling him Bowser or 'little prince' or 'your *insert current emotion*-ness' solely, bc it was the queen who (without meaning to) gave Bowser the nickname, and it was like a reminder that she wasn't there anymore. With time, the nickname faded into forgetfulness, and no one ever called the koopa prince that anymore.
-Btw remember that baby Bowser had like they/them pronouns mostly bc they didn't have idea if the baby was boy or girl 🧍something about royal koopas idk
-When Kamek told Luigi of all he could remember of the queen and Bowser bonding, there was a very clear fondness in the way he remembered her, even after so many years (Bowser's like thirty-and-a-few years old, so it has been so long ago), and that's another part Luigi thought was very adorable, aside from the mom and baby.
-I imagine babies marvel at the fact that there's a very big being taking care of them, so imagine baby Bowser also thought so of the very big koopa that always was very sweet and congratulated him even when he didn't do anything and cuddled him very lovingly- and then one day she wasn't there anymore and it felt like he lost a part of himself (I can't remember when is it that babies realize their mom isn't a part of themselves?? But :''''v), even if the other being that took such good care of him (dada) was still there, he cried a lot because the main one (mama) wasn't there anymore and no matter how much they called her she didn't come to comfort them.
That's all pipipi :'v I love them
Addition!
-After Queen River's death her portraits and pictures had to be taken down in the whole castle (maybe except the one in Kamek's room, which he looked at very sadly-) because baby Bowser kept seeing them and getting excited and making grabby hands to the portraits to reach them, and then they'd get sad and would cry when the paintings obviously didn't reach back for them. Kammy and Kamek (with a big pain in their heart) had the paintings and any art representing the queen to be taken down, so the prince wouldn't see them. That's also why Bowser started forgetting about her very quickly, and then they didn't get sad nor missed their mom 👍 cries

A thing that always makes me laugh about team green is the fact that they always referred to rhaenyra as a whore (aemond at storm's end called her 'the whore of dragons stone' , aegon after she refudes his term say that 'the whore threw his term in his face') because rhaenyra have a relationship and children with a man she love without achieving anything. The definition of a whore is a woman (or a man) who prostitutes herself (or himself) and prostitution is 'sexual performance for profit' (which can be money, favor, political power) which is exactly what alicent is doing with larys in episode 9. She is 'offering' a sexual performance so larys will give her the information she need. So 'whore' is a word that describes alicent's act not rhaenyra. This is really funny like aemond and aegon watch your mother before speak

do you expect TG to be even more whitewashed in next seasons? I certainly do. And I think I've already got an idea how Condal will do it. 1. Alicunt goes to Rhaenyra to beg for ceasing the war and/or dividing the realm so both Rhaenyra and Aegon can be rulers. Alicunt will imploringly beseech Rhaenyra with tears in her Big Doe Eyes™ and Rhaenyra harshly answers "no". They'll make Rhaenyra look like a power hungry, vicious tyrant just to get their point across 2. Aemond. Most (if not all) of his actions will be excused as "he didn't know better/he's just hot blooded, young and naive". Just like with accidently murdering Luke. And how will they do it? Two words: Alys Rivers. Yes, I fully expect them to make her the mastermind behind Strongs house annihilation and nuking Riverlands. She'll whisper into Aemond's ear that Strongs are traitors (her own personal revenge bc they treated her oh so bad) that he should show Riverlands his might etc.
I'm 100% sure it will happen
I agree with absolutely everything you mentioned.
Alicent gets a pass for everything because she is played by Olivia Cooke and the showrunners are absolutely obsessed with her (and when I say that, I mean her looks). And because Emma D’Arcy is not considered a conventional beauty in comparison, Rhaenyra, as a character, has to suffer.
Yes, I am 100% convinced they will make Alicent all holly and desperate to end the war (after she started it) by trying to convince Rhaenyra to divide the Realm and have both her and Aegon rule different parts of it (which is book canon, but the real Alicent’s intentions were far from noble at that point). They will certainly ignore how in canon, Alicent said terrible things about Rhaenyra’s children, like how bastard blood doesn’t matter and all that.
The showrunners also have an obsession with Aemond, as you pointed out. And in order to make him look good, they have to make Daemon look bad.
They invented the “bullying” storyline and how he just “accidently” killed Lucerys. In book canon, Aemond was a bloodthirsty psychopath with zero redeeming qualities (unlike Daemon), he committed numerous war crimes as a result of his rage and turned Alys Rivers into his sex slave after he murdered her whole family. But true, I’m not going to be surprised if they make Alys the mastermind behind all of Aemond’s actions in this war, just to make him look like a “poor innocent baby”.
Basically, everything the Greens do is a misunderstanding or an accident. Everything the Blacks do is intentional and cruel: that’s the showrunners’ whole play (and I can’t believe GRRM is letting them do whatever they want and turning this whole Dance into their personal Wattpad story).

Fanfic Idea! (ABO Lucemond, The Past Repeats Itself)
Where Aemond didn't realize he was favoring his bastard son with Alys until it was too late.
But in the eyes of one of his children with Lucerys.
--------
Daenys Targaryen was scared. She heard her muña's horrified gasp, saw him rush towards where they huddled together, and cried when he saw the state of Baelon, his sweet son, his first born boy, a group of Maesters trying to calm him down. Aemon, his twin, held his brother's hand, and when he felt their muña's hand on his shoulder, he cried, his face having been bruised by a large fist.
The person who owned the fist in question was there. Aerion, her older half-brother, watched the scene with a cruel smile. Daenys didn't like him. She didn't like him when he tried to push Aemon down a cliff, she didn't like him when he tried to barge into Alysanne's room, she didn't like him when he ripped her new dress up, and he especially didn't like him now, with a satisfied grin on his face. He had no remorse for what he's done. He has permanently scarred her older brother, and he was happy.
She had never felt so scared and angry in all her life. Her brother's screams terrified her, it was...animalistic. Even now he wailed in agony, the right side of his face was completely burnt. The Maesters were applying cream to at least cool the wound down, but he still screamed and struggled, he begged for their muña. Daenys saw another wave of pain hitting her muña, his face twisting in complete agony as his son continue to wail, even when he held him.
"What happened?"
Daenys turned to see her grandmother, and she felt the weight of what occured that day. She allowed herself to cry and opened her arms, wishing to be hugged as well. She saw her older sister Alysanne wanting the same thing, and she dragged her to their grandmother's arms. It was so warm, so sweet, so caring. She pretended not to notice how her grandmother angled herself, blocking the cruel and heated gaze from Aerion.
"Oh, my girls. What happened?" She whispered to them, and Daenys found herself too choked up to answer. So Alysanne did it for her.
"Aerion called Baelon a bastard for having muña's hair." Alysanne began, and Daenys felt her grandmother tightening her hug. "He said true Targaryens had silver hair and purple eyes. He said he would prove it. He...he held Baelon's head over the fire. He said true Targaryens don't burn, and that it was proof Baelon's a bastard."
If it was any other day, Daenys would scoff at that. Aerion was the bastard. The servants said so. The noblemen she eavesdropped on said so. She heard her muña said so, after the incident with Aemon, her brother's fever so high, they all thought the stranger would visit. He didn't know Daenys heard, but she did. And that was enough of a confirmation for her.
And besides, Baelon wasn't a bastard, and the proof was as clear as day, with him sharing the womb with Aemon, the one who looks the most like a Targaryen prince.
"Aemon tried to stop him," Alysanne hiccupped, tears forming in her eyes. "Aerion punched him and we dragged Baelon away. Grandmother," she was close to sobbing, "Baelon said he couldn't see me."
She saw her grandmother look at Aerion, horrified, then at Baelon, with an emotion Daenys couldn't really place.
The doors opened, and Daenys felt herself stiffen. Her kepa is here, his scent of smoke and ash completely dominating the room. She buried herself deeper in the arms of her grandmother and older sister.
She never felt anything for him but clear hatred. She couldn't show it, though. Her muña told her so. But she did. She truly did. A part of her wished to be a bastard, because it would mean the man standing there wasn't her actual kepa, and that her true kepa would come someday, rescue her muña and the rest of them.
She never felt any love from her kepa. He didn't punish Aerion when Aemon almost died, he didn't punish him when he almost forced himself into Alysanne's room, he didn't punish him for tearing up the dress her muña ordered just for her. She didn't bother begging for her brother's justice. She knew they would get none, just like before, they would only get cold indifference, because he always favored Aerion in the end.
She looked over to see what excuse he would give Aerion now. Did he perhaps not know what he was doing? Was he confused, like a toddler not knowing what to do? Will Baelon be blamed, like Aemon, like Alysanne, like she was when they asked for justice, for protection, for an ounce of care? Or will he blame their muña? Will he curse him in High Valyrian, will he place the blame on him, will he excuse his favorite son again?
It was obvious he would.
So why did he falter at the sight of Baelon? Why did shock cross his face at the sight of a permanently scarred boy of ten and two?
Daenys' hands crumpled her grandmother's skirts. She wished to scream at him. Baelon is hurt because of his favorite boy, and all he could do is stare.
Get out. GET OUT!
"Get out."
Daenys was surprised, before realizing it didn't come from her mouth, but from her muña's. He had his back turned away from the door, too busy watching over Baelon and Aemon, but they all knew who he was addressing.
He was telling the King of the Realms to get out of the room.
Daenys saw him froze, as if he'd been slapped. Her muña never did that before. Ordering their kepa to leave. She felt a joy she hadn't felt in a while when she saw a hint of hurt in her kepa's face.
"Lucerys..." He called her muña's name in a way that shocked Daenys. He never used that tone, not with their part of the family. At least, not that she knew of. It was the type of soft plea, an almost pleasant one. She never knew that that man could use such a tone.
Something must have snapped in her muña, because she saw him turn to face her kepa, and his eyes, his eyes held the look of a angered dragon. They blazed with fury, with hatred.
"My son is hurt." Her muña said in a voice that held barely contained rage. "I do not have the time or energy to listen to your excuses for that bastard. Leave, and take that demon with you."
Aerion's face morphed into an ugly scowl, and Daenys looked at it very closely, to remember it for all her life.
"You dare call me a bastard, you whore's son-"
This time, Daenys couldn't stop her gasp. Kepa slapped Aerion. The King slapped his favorite son.
Even Aerion was surprised. He was never disciplined. He would run his mouth and the King would ignore every disrespectful thing that exits it. But not now. No, he was actually slapped.
Daenys will treasure the memory of Aerion's shocked face for the rest of her life.
Her kepa didn't bother looking at his favorite son. He kept staring at her muña. Her muña glared at them both.
"I will not ask again, Aemond. Take your bastard and leave. I have a son to tend to, and you are merely wasting my time."
Her kepa looked like he wanted to to argue, but her muña already turned back to Baelon, completely ignoring the King.
"How is Baelon?" He tried, directing his question to the Maester.
"The right side of the Prince's face is burnt beyond saving. We will need to cut the burnt pieces off. He will be scarred for life. And..." The Maester hesitated a little, before continuing, "his right eye is permanently damaged, and it seems his left eye is unresponsive, nothing we can do would save them."
The silence that ensued made everything felt heavy. Daenys wanted to cry again. Baelon always dreamt of being a fighter, a powerful knight. He would tell them everyday that he would be the best dragon knight of the realm. He swore to protect all of them. And now he was blind. If he had lost just one eye, he still had a chance. He could follow in their kepa's footsteps. If he only lost his right eye, he would still have a chance. But he lost both.
"Leave." Her muña's voice was so soft, so heartbreaking. The dragon turned into a grieving mother.
"Leave my family alone."
"Will you not even ask for justice? For our son?" Her kepa asked strangely. As if he wanted to hear him ask.
"I will have no justice here. You are keen to hurt me, my family. It is useless, a waste of time and breath." Her muña choked. "Besides, no amount of begging would bring back my son's eyes. No amount of begging will help him see again." He wiped the tears from Baelon's eyes.
"Muña, muña, I can't see you muña. I can't see." Baelon cried out, and Lucerys took his hand, kissing his palm, holding it close.
"Leave us. Leave my family alone. You and your son have done enough damage. Neither of you are needed. Neither of you are wanted. Just...just leave."
Daenys watch as her kepa's face fall apart for the first time, before he collected himself. He grabbed Aerion by the shoulder and dragged him outside, the door slamming behind them.
Daenys and Alysanne rushed to their brother's side, Aemon continued to hold his twin's hand. Their grandmother watched from a distance.
-----
When the Maesters finally left, Baelon was asleep. They gave him as much milk of the poppy as they could, completely knocking him out. Lucerys sent his children to his private chambers, promising each of them that he would follow shortly.
He then looked at Alicent. Alicent looked at him. They were silent for a moment, before Lucerys started.
"My children aren't safe here. Grandmother," he whispered, shocking Alicent to the core. "Grandmother, please. Help me. Help my family. I don't want the crown, I don't want another war. Let Jaehaera wear it. Let Aerion were it. I want nothing to do with it. I just want...I just want my family to be free of this retched place."
Alicent looked at him, at his tear stricken face. She saw herself in the days of old. She found herself nodding. Yes, she would help him. Yes, she would save them. Save them the way she had wished someone saved her.
---------
Aerion had been punished but not as harshly as she had hoped. Daenys couldn't help but feel disappointed. He was only ordered to stay in his room, to not leave until Baelon's injury completely healed. She heard the servants whisper about his tantrums, a young man of ten and five, raging like a toddler.
Their kepa kept coming, trying to visit Baelon, to see their muña. He was met with cold indifference from all of them. He tried speaking to Baelon, to ask how he felt. Baelon always answered that he was tired and would like to rest. He tried talking to their muña, but he would completely ignore him, too busy helping Baelon to look at the King's begging, imploring look. He even tried reaching out to Alysanne, the gentlest child, and all she did was look at him in disappointment.
It took weeks before he seem to understand. He left them alone after a talk with their grandmother.
The only thing that made Daenys feel something other than sadness and rage was the fact that they were going to Dragonstone as soon as Baelon was fit enough to travel. She, her muña, her brothers, her sister and her grandmother are going to Dragonstone. She couldn't wait.
------
Shocking news began to spread across all of Westeros. Prince-Consort Lucerys Targaryen, along with his children, disappeared from their trip to Dragonstone, causing the King to forget his duties, ordering the search for his family, and even using Vhagar to look for them himself.
Some say that Queen Regent Alicent got rid of them, effectively ending the line of the Black Queen, Rhaenyra Targaryen. Other say the boat they were on sank due to an unexpected storm. Then there were whispers, saying the Prince-Consort managed to tame Vermithor and his mate Silverwing, effectively whisking his children away to an island in Essos.
A few days after, news arrived, of Prince Aerion trying to take the throne while his father searched for his missing family. Soon King Aemond returned, without his family, but with a vengeance.
Aerion was no match for his father. King Aemond once again had the title Kinslayer. Soon he, too, disappeared, leaving King's Landing in shambles.
No one knew where the missing Targaryens were. Some say Aemond found them, and in his rage, murdered them all. Some say he found them, and imprisoned them in a castle far away. Some say they went back to Old Valyria, where they die a gruesome death.
King Aemond never took a second wife during that time. He never sired any other child. From then until the time of his own disappearance, he was alone. When he was presumed dead, the crown was passed on to Jaehaera, who ruled with grace, and with the guidance of her grandmother Alicent.

Ok, but in the Mother-Child Preggers Tang au... what if it crosses over with Slow Boiled au?
Referencing this post I made about Tang accidentally drinking from the Mother-Child River while the gang are travelling in S3.
Tumblr media
Oh gosh i love the idea. In all the chaos of Wukong having his Stone Egg, Tang accidentally gets himself in a similar postition. XD
Throughout the Slow-Boiled Au, Pigsy and Tang frequently prove themselves to be good parents, and with all the talk of Wukong's overdue baby, the freenoodles pair both start to wonder...
Both brush the thoughts off cus they're in their 30s at least, and MK is enough. But the thoughts still crop up time to time.
Then cue Tang getting so thirsty during the S3 team-split, that he takes a big mouthful of river water without boiling it first. Pigsy initially blames the scholar's cramps on giardia. But they were oh so wrong.
Scorpion Queen pretty much forces herself into the gang because she's the only one around who *knows* how the Mother-Child River works. And she's not gonna let her new friends get hurt with all this bone demon business!
Pigsy, unsure: "Hey, Scorpion? I have something I really need to ask about the River." Scorpion Queen: "Sure thing! Ask me anything!" Pigsy, hesistating: "Will... will the baby look just like Tang? Or is some... river god involved?" Scorpion Queen, catching on quickly: "OH! Oh no no no! Theres no river god baby-daddy!" *starts laughing* Pigsy, relieved: "Phew!" Tang: "Aww! Piggy, you were worried!" Pigsy: "I dont mind our kid being a mini-you. I just dont want some gross minor god to have his mitts on ya'." Scorpion Queen, still laughing: "Nah dude! You guys are gonna have a cute little piglet!" Pigsy & Tang: "Wut." Scorpion Queen: "Couples came to the River to have babies all the time! If the drinker had a mate, then the baby would take on the appearance of their partner by absorbing some of their dao. If it didn't, then the Kingdom of Women would have been overrun with inbred clones!" Tang: "Ah, that makes sense." Pigsy: *completely dumbstruck with joy* Wukong, quiet until now: "...wait. Did the ladies back at the village think Master and Zhu Bajie were a mated couple that fumbled the process!? Is that why they laughed so much!?"
And ofc because of their shared situation, Tang and Wukong bond over the rest of the roadtrip. Tang would 100% wear a cringey matching maternity shirt with the Monkey King if they had time to stop for some shopping.
Pigsy breaks the news to the rest of the gang in an... unelegant fashion after the Samadhi Fire ritual went belly-up.
Pigsy: "So uh... stuff happened when we all got separated back in the desert." MK: "Yeah, you said Monkey King got amnesia and thats how Scorpion Queen joined the team." Scorpion Queen: *delighted wave!* Tang: "There's more to it MK..." MK, panicking: "Oh gods, you guys aren't hiding a world-ending secret too, right!? Cus I cannot deal with-" Pigsy, cutting him off: "Tang is pregnant. And we've decided to keep the baby." MK: *struck silent* Sandy, joyfully: "Congratulations! I hope the Monkey King didn't hear too much of you guys making it!" Pigsy, blushing furiously: "NOT LIKE THAT!!!" Tang, amused grin: "How else are babies made, Piggy? I'm certainly not having a stone egg.~" Pigsy, red-faced: "'CUS YOU DRANK THAT STANKY MUD WATER, THATS HOW!" MK, frozen stiff: "Wut."
Needless to say, MK is happy for his parents, but the timing isn't ideal. After LBD is defeated though, MK fully embraces his upcoming baby sibling! XD
Unfortunately the timing also means that Tang spends S4 in a very compromised position.

Yeah, Mother-Child River Tang isn't having a fun time...

mmm would it be possible for Mistystar and Leopardstar to fight/met during the BOTTE? or was Leopard already fed up with Tigerstar, his batshit insane plans and her status reduced to 'Tiger's another lackey' (like Darkstripe and many others) to really care about revenge? if she ever thought about it, that is.. im assuming she would be pretty pissed about being killed (there was a post about Mistyfoot first trying to poison her and Leopard realized it and instead decided to take her on a solo patrol to.. deal with a rogue i think? and then Misty gave her a rock appointment) and might had thought about making Mistystar pay, but it's been soooo long before BOTTE that she might had.. moved on? or just decided she had better things to do, not sure.
I have a BIG rule for the BOTTE, an unmoveable object, which I will abide by like a solemn vow;
NO spirit will be killed by the same cat twice.
I already changed it so Yellowfang doesn't get Brokenstar (he's not even present) and Brambleclaw doesn't get Hawkfrost, so I certainly wouldn't have Mistystar do it to Leopardstar!
I have some ideas but first; context.
The Killing of Leopardstar
Mistyfoot was sloppy.
Leopardstar recognized the way that Mistyfoot had poisoned her food, because she'd done the same thing to Crookedstar before her. Not enough to make it quick, just enough to weaken.
The emotion that licks at her is frustration.
Is this what her life has come to? Dramatic irony? Is this some kind of cosmic joke? To die just like her predecessor, wasting away for a few seasons in the darkness of this musty den, before solemn mourning and empty platitudes from her underhanded murderer.
What should she even do about this? Reveal Mistyfoot in front of everyone, exile her, she plots against her from the safety of another Clan, some kind of rebellion, rah rah rah we just dealt with this.
It's boring. It's so boring it's offensive. This will be the state of RiverClan forever, deputies poisoning leaders and taking power quietly until the end of days. No honor, no nobility, just treachery until the sky dries up and its rich blue becomes a crackled pale-brown.
If she is to die, she will not go out in the slow and painful way she killed crookedstar without a fight.
So she smacks the limp fish aside and brushes past Mistyfoot with a snarl, not even caring enough to drink in the way her traitorous deputy's ears flushed pale, knowing she'd been caught.
Leopardstar calls for a rushed meeting, telling them all that there's actually 40 - 50 feral rogues on the border right now and she saw them all last night or something, so she's taking Mistyfoot to go confront them right now. Don't follow us.
(Something that the more astute members of the Clan immediately recognize as Leopardstar setting up cover for a death match, including Misty's brother Swansong. She snaps at him when he runs to stop her, Don't Follow.)
Once they're a fair distance away, at the southern delta that divides WindClan and RiverClan, where the cliffs will hide them and the wet stones will not catch the scent (and where Reedwhisker will die, someday), Leopardstar lays it out.
No more tricks. No more schemes. If one of them is to die, it will be with honor.
"You want my lives?"
(Boss music fades in. Misty sees the health bar appear lmao)
"Come and take them."
After she came and took them
Leopardstar is kind of obsessed with the final battle of her life. That fight was everything she hoped for, except that she didn't win.
She wants it again, and she will triumph this time.
Hawkfrost is easily able to twist it into, "You lost only because StarClan shone upon her with that stone. It wasn't real skill. Join our cause and we can get you that rematch, we will defeat Mistystar, win back RiverClan, and dethrone the Stars!" But at the end of the day, it's an excuse.
Same sort of excuse Leopardstar came up with when she believed she wanted an honorable battle, rejecting the guilt and fear that clawed at her to think about dying the way Crookedstar did.
She does this a lot. Dodging feelings of remorse or regret by substituting power fantasies, avoiding any hard lessons. She says she wants revenge, but what she's actually doing is avoiding taking an L. Shame is a vagrant in Leopardstar's heart; she will never let it stay for long.
But...
That's really hard to do when Tigerstar is actively using her and speaking over her in every interaction. Being here, in the Dark Forest, taking the SAME advice she once groomed into Hawkfrost to only look at the positives of Tigerstar's legacy and ignore atrocities, is embarassing.
It's HUMILIATING.
She had her starshine BASHED out of her with a rock and went to the hell she'd been downplaying since she "regrettably" tore down the Bonehill. Being Tigerstar's stooge. Reducing the proud, ferocious leader of RiverClan into a goon.
Towards the end, she will have a scene with Hawkfrost, proud warriors that they are as mentor and apprentice, and vaguely address this. As far as Leopardstar's ego will allow, of course... the shame of it.
It's an important moment, because it's as much about Leopardstar and Hawkfrost as it is about Hawkfrost and Ivypool.
Leopard is too set in her ways to change, even if she is capable of brief glimpses of self-reflection, of which this is one. Hawkfrost, however, is seeing his mentor and himself in a different light. How she'll let herself be humiliated over and over as long as she can cling to her ego... and how by doing Tigerstar's diplomacy work, Hawkfrost is doing the same.
And he's dragged his OWN apprentice into it, too. She accidentally double-killed her friend, Antpelt, but he killed him more by bringing all of these trainees here to begin with. How Ivypool gets pitted against Tigerheart because TigerSTAR is playing mind games, how it's destroying her bond with her sister, how much fun and joy in the Dark Forest he's missing out on by not giving the afterLIFE a chance...
How much he's thrown away for this, before and after his death.
I'm not sure yet if it's the LAST stop before the BOTTE, but it's close to the end of Hawkfrost's redemption arc. Recognition of self through the other. He is part of a cycle he has a choice to break.
But anyway... back to Leopardstar.
She wants to fight Mistystar, but I don't think I'll let her have that satisfaction. She has already gotten nearly everything she ever asked for and can't even acknowledge that she did.
I think it's most fitting for SWANSONG to finally get what he craves; a chance to take a burden off his sister.
Leopardstar allowed TigerClan to STRIP his brotherhood from her because they don't share blood. Forced him to pretend like Rippleclaw meant anything to him, as if Oakheart hadn't been his proud baba as long as he could remember. Stonefur, Mistyfoot, and Swansong are the kits of Graypool; and he's not gonna let this golden FART ignore that ever again.
So my idea is that when Leopardstar meets Mistyfoot in the Second Wave of the BOTTE, she pounces onto her for her rematch, but Swansong BURSTS out of the crowd in response and rips her off, allowing Mistystar to go back to defending their Clanmates
"I don't want YOU," Leopardstar spits, "My battle is with Mistystar!"
"Tough titfeathers! It's MY turn to get a hit in for Stonefur!" He bristles with equal parts fury and excitement, lunging towards a fight he's dreamed of for years.
Still subject to change, though! And I'm not sure if Swansong dies here, or in the 3rd Wave, or if maybe he succumbs to injuries after the BOTTE is over.
It would also be fitting if he got a whack on Mapleshade though... since Maple doesn't even consider him Applekin and won't curse him. It would be neat for him to get angry about that lmao. "What do you MEAN my siblings are haunted by a demon? But NOT ME?? What ELSE am I getting left out of???"
EDIT: I'm currently planning to kill him in the 2nd Wave
#better bones au#BOTTE#BB!Leopardstar#BB!Mistystar#BB!Swansong#BB!Hawkfrost#BB!OOTS#I say this about a lot of BB characters (because I love this project) but man I really like Swansong#Context btw because he hasn't come up in a while: Swan is the adopted brother of Stone and Misty. His biosibs were faders.#Beloved golden retriever coming up for his fake ear medicine to suffer as Part Of The Family#Oak was only going to ask Gray to suckle Misty and Stone for him but then they were like#''Hey wait. Ripple was only an honor sire anyway. This is super convenient wanna parent together?''#And BB!Oak is such a DUDE he was like ''Yooooo ABSOLUTELY I'd LOVE another baby with a friend!!''#Oak cannot walk 5 foxlengths without making a friend. He's just like that.#Sqweezy type grindset#They never really told the kits about Ripple because he wasn't relevant + Queen’s Rights anyway#But everyone else knew Ripple was Swan's biodad because he's the river's reflection of him. and the other two are literally blue.#The three of them were the last to know.#But Swansong is great because he's such a happy kind of angry when it comes to defending his family#He's like ''We have to hide a body? Girlie SAY NO MORE I have already compiled a list of top 10 places they'll never look''#''No we dont need to hide the body..'' ''Ah. Well. Ok that's fine too. Anyway. What is our cover story let's get the details straight''#She couldn't make him deputy because he's too aggressive and supportive lmao#He's actually a lot like a meaner and smarter Oak. He was super close to their dad.#Also he's the mate of Moss instead of Frog because I put it to a vote and we collectively said so#Fixing a minor inconsistency where Moss has more kits after Frog is supposed to be dead#Also Frog was a sleaze where Swankit from the Missing Kits was a blank slate.#Slaps the roof of the RiverClan this bad boy can fit so many blorbos in it#Between Hawk and Leopard and the entire Applekin family I really adore it

“Don’t come again unless you mean to bend your knees, she says. Any man who comes near her walls will die. There’s power in them stones, and the widow’s woken it. Seven save us all, she has a dragon. I seen it.”
