Baela Targaryen

Young/child Baela. Daughter of Daemon and Laena Velaryon, rider of the dragon Moondancer. Baela is our "tomboy" of this show, she takes after Daemon's recklessness and is a direct contrast to her younger twin sister. I wanted to draw Baela in her dragon-riding outfit, but to have references to her mother and grandmother's fashion. The diagonal lines, the sea shell inspired gem and the wave motifs.

My favourite thing is how the Rhaena and Baela actors each favour an age variant of Laena.

They also each favour one of her family members.

Baela (both actresses) favour Rhaenys and Nanna's eldest version of Laena.

Rhaena favours both younger Laena's because they look so much alike but also Laenor, who looked like Laena's twin until the time jumped.

Thank goodness for Velayron genes. Also, this makes it all the more obvious with the Velaryon boys and who they are related to closely. That's a step they didn't need to take, but I'm glad they did.

Most Aemond fans share the delusion that their "bullied fave" is justified in everything he does. If the rumours are true I think we’re going to get a lot of fans insisting Jace is justified in wanting to marry Helaena and Rhaenyra’s a good mother for supporting him whilst Daemon’s evil incarnate for demanding respect for his daughter. So even though we all love Rhaenyra can we make a promise not to let her and Jace get away with abandoning his betrothal to Baela? We have to make it clear it’s not ok for the show to be so openly racist and it’s incredibly ooc for Jace and Rhaenyra to do this.

Look, I love Rhaenyra and Jace, but if the whole Helaena thing happens I will be pissed.
