I figured it would make way more sense for Chrysalis to try to make Cadence love her because she's kinda a goddess of love, also toxic yuri is real Way more sibling angst with Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor, her thinking she needs to fight or even kill her brother which results in very tragic and sad scenes.
