Resilio metaphotic associative cards: why are there animal cards?
Resilio is a unique deck that contains 99 picture cards and 44 animal cards. They symbolize qualities that can help us to discover and strengthen our resilience.
I may say that Resilio cards are a perfect tool that helps people avoid mental blocks and conflicts. I’ve been to 35 countries and studied local cultures a lot.
Every language reflects the mentality and has phrases or proverbs that are somehow associated with animals. For example, Ukrainians have the following: "as timid as a rabbit", "a sly as a fox", "to work as a bee", "silly sheep".
Therefore, these messages, decoded in our language appear when we talk about associations.
Tumblr media
I bought this deck here: https://brainukraine.etsy.com/listing/858049362
The deck of “Resilio” metaphorical associative cards is widely used in:
- family therapy; - art therapy; - couple therapy; - counseling; - coaching - decision making; - search of resources; - analyzing the past that led to current consequences.

Dp x Dc AU: Jazz Fenton, after years of fixing her brother’s injuries, becomes a Doctor with an inclination towards behavioral health and psychology- In order to make the difference she wants to see in the world she joins Dr. Leslie Thompkin’s practice.
Jazz Fenton, M.D. has spent years of her life doing research, doing the hard work and the emotional labor, and finally, finally, she’s joining a practice she can feel 100% confident in. She’s goddamn good doctor and she wants to make the biggest impact that she can.
Dr. Thompkins (who insists that she call her Leslie as they’re colleagues now), is a kind woman, sharp as a tack and keeps her practice open at odd hours to help the most unfortunate. It took some time for them to bond and trust to be built, but now Jazz is being allotted a few night shifts here and there.
It’s incredible. Jazz gets to spend time with the kids who come in and really talk to them (in addition to getting them antibiotics, heating pads and pokemon themed bandaids) to help equip them with a few coping skills. Her passion for psychology never disappeared after all, but the expansive knowledge of how to heal the human body has made her find a sense of fulfillment like no other.
Having proven herself and worn Leslie down, Jazz now takes up about 1/3 of all the night shifts in the month. She’s hoping to get to 50/50 by the end of the year but she’s content with what she has. Danny keeps odd hours anyway so calling him after work on her walk home can happen any time of day and he will always answer enthusiastically.
It’s a particularly busy night before he comes in. The Red Hood.
He was known for being an ally to Leslie, despite being on contentious terms with the Bats, but Jazz had never asked directly. Never one to turn away a patient with bullet hole wounds, she hops into action to get his wounds cleaned, sewed up and gauze wrapped. She’s handing him a sheet (an Infographic! Dani made it with her! Graphic design is her passion!) on how to care for his wounds when he first seems to recognize that she’s not Leslie.
“No, Of course not. I’m Dr. Fenton. I can’t blame you for not remembering but I did introduce myself as you bled in the entry way. You’re Red Hood, right?”
“Hm. Didn’t realize the practice was expanding. Where can I find-” He grumbles before pushing her hand aside from where she had still been supporting his shoulder.
“Hold on there, mister. You’re going home, you’re following this infographic and you’re going to get some sleep.”
“Lady you don’t know-” His voice modulated ton came across antagonistically. As if he was trying to intimidate her. Ha, Jazz rolls her eyes at the inclination.
“Who I’m talking to? Who I’m dealing with? You’re hilarious. I can eat you vigilante’s hero complexes for breakfast. Tell me who I’m calling to pick you up and then you can say thank you.” Jazz snaps at him. It really had been a long night but his whole dialogue thus far is making her a bit batty.
“Oh really Doc? You know Leslie’s tough shit, and from what I can tell you’ve got nothing on her-”
“Trying to make me feel insufficient when I just saved your life? That’s cute. I’m sure a lifetime of abandonment by both of your parental figures gave you that. I’m also sure that you inherited this desire to prove you’re not going to be dependent on anyone who wants to help from whoever got you dressing up in tights to fight crime in the first place. Again, I’d love to talk at length about how predictable you-”
“Bwah- wait- I’m Predictable? You’re probably some nepobaby who had parents who told her she could have the world-” But Jazz cuts him off with hysterical laughter- he couldn’t be further from the truth. Her parents loved her, but nepotism? With what, the ghosts? If anything she got that from Danny, but he doesn’t need to know about her ghostly titles.
“You’re just some guy who came back from the dead and made his trauma everyone else’s issue. So shut it. And tell me how I’m getting you home from this clinic.” She seethes though her voice stays devastatingly level with each word.
Speechless for a moment, he eventually relents to Jazz that he’s already called for help on the comms but it will be hours before they can come for a pick up. The sun had already come up and the night had been over for most of them before Hood had walked into trouble. She groans and the realizes the time for herself and the empty clinic around them.
“Fine. My shift just ended anyway. I’ll get you home in one piece and I swear to all the ancients that you’d better follow the directions on the infographic.”
And that’s how Jazz ended up calling her brother while supporting the weight of a grown ass man (who no longer wanted to talk to her) on her walk home.
The next time Red Hood appears in her clinic, he’s brought a dozen roses in addition to the cut on his neck that definitely needs to be pressurized like ASAP. Did he stop for the flowers on his way to the clinic? He’s going to pass out from blood loss! She doesn’t even like roses!

Abusive parents will talk about your childhood experiences as if you were so stupid and annoying and obtuse that of course they had to humiliate and smack you and degrade you for how stupid you were. They'll act like it was your fault you didn't know that you're supposed to prioritize adults never being interrupted or inconvenienced or annoyed by you at all times! You just HAD to have that drilled into you and if they didn't do it you'd grow up an entitled selfish brat who'd be nothing but a huge burden on society. (they still call you that regardless).
But if you go back to reality, you can acknowledge that you were put in completely impossible scenarios, that even an adult would not be able to get out of without trauma. As a child, you were experiencing everything in the world, for the first time. You needed guidance, you need someone to show you how, to explain in a way you could understand, to allow you to try things out. You were supposed to be introduced to the world by someone who cared what kind of experience you would get.
Instead, what you got is people who didn't acknowledge that you were a literal child with no knowledge of how the world, and no direction to how their selfish minds worked. All you had was your genetic wiring which instructed you to ask for attention, to ask for help, to try things out one way or another, to ask for your needs to be met, to rely on your family members to be a support to you. It's what the society was built upon, elder members teaching and protecting their young. Instead, you get these mongrels who not only fail to teach you anything, but if you ever, without any instruction or guidance, do the wrong thing, you get to be punished. You get to be a child with no sources to how to do things, how anything works, but if you try and teach yourself, since nobody else will teach you, you are put thru pure hatred. If you mess up, everyone in the world that you know suddenly is enraged with you and hates you. They're ready to hurt you for not knowing the information you were never fed, that there was never a way for you to gain access to.
And they go above and beyond to make your lack of knowledge a shameful thing for you! They sabotage your learning process because now you're not allowed to show or admit that you don't know something! You're not allowed to ask questions, to request to be taught, you'll get laughed at and called an idiot and asked 'how don't you know this, how old are you?!' and possibly punished just for your lack of experience. You'll get shamed for 'not learning by looking at their example' despite them never giving you an example to learn from!
There is no way even a full adult would know what to do in this situation! In every other scenario in life there are guides, resources, mentors, teachers, guidelines, rules of what to do and what not to do. When you start a new job you spend time being trained and being allowed to ask as many questions as you want. In any normal educative scenarios, you're allowed to ask for things to be explained to you. In real life, you're allowed to try and fail something hundreds of times only to figure it out and get it right, with NO punishment!
So why is it that you, as a child, who had no way of knowing ANYTHING, least of all how cruel and selfish your caretakers are, had to get shamed for not knowing things in advance? Punished for making noise, for trying to learn, for accidentally annoying people who were supposed to be obliged to help you go thru this process?
And it's devastating to grow up like that! Since young age, constantly hyper-aware that if any problem rises up, it will be your problem and yours alone, nobody will help you figure it out. Not even when you sink into panic, not even when you don't know what to do and in your child head, the thing is a disaster which will cost you everything, not even if you're feeling dread and lack of hope for week, nobody will come and explain the realistic way to solve this problem and comfort you and tell you that you did nothing wrong. Instead, you learn that anything you do could potentially have catastrophic consequences if it accidentally annoys your caretakers, and instead of learning, growing, having fun, making friends, living care-free and normal life, your entire focus has to be on not accidentally annoying these people. You have to hide, learn to never cause any issues, never to have any visible problems, to cry silently, to not ask for anything, to try and figure out day after day, what would make these people hate you less, what would make you a less of a burden on them.
And then, these assholes can go and laugh at how 'stupid' you were as a kid. They can joke about how they 'had to punish you' so you would learn.
You were not stupid. You were alone. You took the overwhelming task of raising yourself because nobody else would. You didn't fail. You didn't do anything wrong. It was never warranted to punish you. You taught yourself how to live when nobody else would even look at you. You had to figure out friendships, relationships, education, parental relations, and on top of it, how to stay alive, how to not have any problems, how not to irritate anyone, how to never be visible or needing anything, or god forbid, making problems for anyone else, all by yourself. When you were just a child. You had no guidance, no protection, no caretakers. You probably got into so much trouble that would have been completely avoided if only one person cared enough to sit you down and have a conversation with you and showed you that they care, explained to you how things work. Who would have told you that you were a good kid and that trying and failing is how all of us learn.
There is nothing funny about the neglect they put you thru. There's nothing funny about torturing a child who never received care or attention. You were not supposed to grow up surrounded by people who felt nothing but contempt for you. You did not deserve to grow up without love.

When you take a career skills course provided by the unemployment services and they're making you take enneagram and mbti tests the second day... and you not only already know your types, subtypes and tritype, you could also type the whole class more accurately than an online test, but you stay silent because you don't want to be a jerk, but also you die a little inside because the tests are crap and you can already guess from the questions why some people are going to answer them wrong.💀

Would you write anything with/about Spider-man 2099? 👀
This ask made me scroll back in my blog and go, "Wait did I actually write the entire manifesto on why Miguel is a communist icon because I thought I had refrained from that."
I'm 95% sure that I did, in fact, refrain from explaining why there are only two good superhero media (The Incredible Hulk 1977 and Spider-man 2099) because they are the only two truly socialist superhero media. I must have mentioned that I fucking loved Spider-man 2099 somewhere. Because I fucking do. Miguel is THE character of all time. I love Spider-Man, I love characters who are COMPLETE DICKS, I love guys who just kinda wanna go home and sleep.
I absolutely would write something for him, I fucking love that guy. I haven't had a really solid idea yet, one that would make a story that would get off the ground, but if the stars align then hell yeah. Miguel is the perfect superhero because he never once tries to stop anybody from robbing a bank, committing a crime, disturbing the peace, etc. He will only ever do anything helpful if it fucks over Cyberpunk Dystopia Evil Corp, because he hates them, or if his brother nags him to do something about systematic oppression. Over the course of all of Spider-Man 2099 he stops ONE mugging. Because a cop was mugging a woman. So he could beat up the cop. Character of ALL TIME.
....this isn't a story idea but I was absolutely joking about hypothetically:
imagining one of those tepid-ass mcu spider-man fanfic where there's a class field trip to stark industies or something and peter's outed as Tony Stark's Baby Son Boy, of which there are literally 500 and every one is exactly the same I don't read mcu peter fanfic anyway
tropey fic where peter's doing that tropey hijinky runs away from crowd of friends to hide in a broom closet and preserve his secret identity
except he just opens the door to an abandoned wet lab to see miguel electrocuting a rat or something
peter is fucking convinced dr ohara is a mad scientist stealing starktech genetic secrets. tony doesn't listen because he thinks peters feelings are just hurt after miguel called him the saltine cracker of nepotism. miguel is, of course, stealing starktech time travel technology. meanwhile a guy in a black spider suit is firebombing the NYPD
miguel assumes that the richer and more important you are, the more evil you are. faced with involuntary time travel, he is operating under his standard MO of finding the most evil corporation in the tristate area and looking them up on glassdoor. working under this assumption, miguel assumes itll be too much work to go ahead and kill tony stark in the name of the proletariat but he does slowly sabotage their entire genetics division.
MJ threatens to break up with Peter if he tries to stop the NYPD from being firebombed

So this is pretty much what it looks like when I’m world building with the partner
————
Partner: so I want Evil Tony Stark to have this magic painting of a door that opens into a dark little room to keep my boy in when he’s naughty or inconvenient
Me: oh yes very good. And it’s not like the frame is the door, you open the painting of the door into another dimension
Partner: yeah he’s gotta be able to take it away with him so he can have it on command 😈
Me: okay so how I think this works is he paints the room inside it first to make the interdimensional space, and then paints the door closed over it, so he can paint whatever he wants in the room 🤔
Partner: oh yeah that’s cool, so he can put furniture or a happy little tree in 😋
Me, suddenly vibrating: okay but no he actually paints a Happy Little Tree and it’s just a tree in the corner of this completely dark room that just giggles softly all the time 🫠
Partner: …. And we tell the party as a joke the first time about this old cell the boy was in with a happy lil tree 😏
Me: and then we don’t say anything for like 2 years and then one of them gets put in the dark room and they just hear giggling 🤩
————
Or
————
Partner: okay so Evil Tony Stark mostly uses constructs and stuff for servants so we’ll put the Robotery in the basement for those 🤖
Me: okay, and when y’all go back to the abandoned mansion do you want there to be one left behind? 🙂
Partner: fuck yeah and the boy knows all of them he loves little creatures (and the house mimics) 🥰
Me: and since the boy was intentionally left behind, this is probably a construct that was doing something related to him so it’s probably reasonably aesthetic, yea? Like feeding him or dressing him up? 😇
(The boy was being kept as a pet by Evil Tony Stark because he glows for Fey Reasons and was pretty literally a living sculpture for 11 years and they did not exactly worry about the “living” part much)
Partner: yeah, if Evil Tony Stark is gonna see it around it’s gotta be aesthetic ✨
Me: so you find this cute sweet little construct friend and then you go a little further into the room and just see hundreds of partially or fully deconstructed bodies of this exact little guy and most of them are just minorly different aesthetics because Evil Tony Stark just trashes them when he wants a new look
Also one is still just barely alive and that’s because it’s one of the ones with a person’s soul bound to it and they’ve just been cuddling in the dark for months since they were abandoned 🥰
————
This just happens in the winter okay I become Extremely Fucking Ominous for literally no reason and then it’s Horror Time
Most of our world building is him making cool and interesting places and characters and then me sneaking in sideways like “hey what if they’re also super fucked up 👀”
And to be fair he loves it and he always says yes please and helps me fuck them up more
Anyway we laid the groundwork for Lord Meldacio’s mansion today that the party are gonna get to in a couple weeks and I had so much fun this guy is the fucking bomb

My problem with the rise of pop psychology is that people actually think they know wtf they’re talking about when in reality they have no fucking idea. They throw around the word “boundaries” but fail to differentiate between what’s a boundary and what is considered controlling another person’s actions because YOU’RE uncomfortable. To all the Jonah Hill’s of the world, telling a woman to not post body pics on HER social media because it makes YOU uncomfortable and calling it a “boundary” is literally the definition of manipulation and renders you as the problem not the victim.

okay yes we all know prison sucks in real life but my friend in internet YOU chose to play the game where we bet on the forgiveness of fictional singing prisoners like race horses ft. a metagame more bizarre than yugioh's. "there is no solution inside the framework of MILGRAM so inno and guilty voters are all wrong, it's a waste of time because no verdict can help the character" people are SO CLOSE to getting the point and yet. that doesn't preclude you from being able to have something intelligent to say about the characters' situations knowing they're existing within the framework of MILGRAM anyway. If your whole take on a character's position is "they shouldn't be here in the first place, all options suck" you're probably playing the wrong online voting game because without the characters being in MILGRAM there would be no... MILGRAM to play, you know?
Like yes it's very much part of the point, it seems to me, that our actions have consequences and Psychological Torture Prison is Bad. but we can't get them out until the trials are over so are you going to keep pestering us because you don't like the game while we try to maximize ideal results, or are you going to step aside and leave us in peace if you're not going to play the game. If shipping them all off to therapy were an option it would be called THERAPY (with a backwards R) and we all would have done that in trial one.
