Tahun Baru, Wajah baru?

Aku merasa terkesan melihat setiap ekspresi wajah saat menyambut tahun baru, mereka dengan penuh semangat menuliskan resolusi dan tujuan hidup baru. Ada sesuatu yang menggetarkan, meskipun aku tak bisa menjelaskan dengan pasti. Yang pasti, aku sangat menyukainya, seperti perasaan saat mencium aroma segar seorang anak balita setelah mandi.

Tahun baru sepertinya memiliki dampak besar, bukan? Pada niat dan kepribadian seseorang, juga pada impian mereka. Selalu ada yang baru, selalu menyenangkan, selalu membara, selalu segar.

Namun, terdapat pertanyaan yang tiba-tiba melintas di benakku. Apakah target atau mimpi baru selalu terasa lebih kuat saat pergantian tahun baru? Jika miliaran kepala di dunia ini setuju dan berkata “Iya”, aku akan bersuara paling keras, "Tidak."

Bisakah kita berpendapat sebaliknya? Mengapa? Karena menurutku, meletakkan target atau mimpi tidak selalu harus terpaku pada momen tahun baru. Bisa kapan saja. Tidak hanya setahun sekali, bahkan sebulan sekali, seminggu sekali, sehari sekali, bahkan setiap jam, menit, dan detik pun memungkinkan. Karena terkadang, niat terhadap target atau mimpi bisa goyah, dan ketika kita sudah merasa lelah dan terhuyung ditengah jalan, kita bisa memulainya kembali. Rasanya seperti momen tahun baru, meski tidak harus selalu pada saat pergantian tahun.

Tulisan ini sebagai pengingat untuk diriku sendiri. Setuju atau tidak, tak masalah, nikmatilah saja tulisan ini. Anyway, Selamat tahun baru! <3
